Who's Tam?
well those are defiantly some interesting rolls. at some point down the line, once I am less concerned with spoilers, I have got to remember to ask see the tables you've made, they seem really cool.
@FrozenEcstasySo how's that post coming along Frozen? There's no rush or anything, just checking up on things. Tomorrow I'll probably just post the results of the item searches to push things along.
Stop, hammer time.Poppy"I'm no hero - just a Yordle with a hammer."[ ??? | Yordle | League of Legends, Demacia | Female ]
APPEARANCE, PERSONALITY, & BACKGROUND
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Barely a meter tall, Poppy is not too different from most Yordles, having large purple eyes, white hair worn in pigtails, pointed elf-like ears, and blue skin. Respectably stocky and athletic thanks to a stringent training regimen over hundreds of years, she rarely goes without her reliable yordle-sized suit of armor and her favorite red muffler.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Poppy was born in the hidden and intensely colorful Bandle City, the birthplace of all Yordles, in the distant land of Runeterra. While most Yordles lived lives of whimsy and magic, Poppy always chafed at the chaotic saccharine sweetness of her feylike counterparts and sought to build her life around order and stability instead. This in time brought her to the human settlements of western Valoran, where she secretly wandered to and from the human settlements until she encountered an unusually orderly caravan of humans, led by a commander named Orlon who wielded an impressive war hammer. Entranced by the respect and loyalty that Orlon commanded and feeling a connection with a human for the first time, Poppy decided to reveal herself to Orlon and his company, and after a somewhat rocky introduction she was accepted into the group.
Orlon's caravan, now with Poppy in tow, continued towards their destination; a new settlement in a distant land called Demacia, where justice, honor, and duty was valued above all else and a place that Poppy could call home. With his strong leadership, Orlon quickly became a revered figure in Demacia, and his weapon soon became an icon for the fledgling nation. Poppy never saw him use the hammer, but she did hear rumors that the legendary weapon could rend the Earth and knock down mountains with its power.
Poppy served her commander and her new nation dutifully for many years until the day she was called to Orlon's side as he lay on his deathbed. With his dying breath he told her that the hammer he wore for so many years, the weapon he never used, was never meant for him to wield. Rather, it was made for the hands of the one person who could unleash its full power, the one who would stand against evil and keep the nation whole; the Hero of Demacia. Thus, when Orlon passed, Poppy set out with her commander's hammer, determined to find this Hero of Demacia and place the weapon in their hands, never realizing that the weapon may have just passed to the Hero she was searching for.
Many years later, in between her quest to find the hero, Poppy was fighting off a Noxian raid into her homeland when the ground beneath her feet started to shake. At first she thought the Magical Collosus had joined the fight, or that the Noxians had brought their undead juggernaut up to brawl, but things took a turn for the worst when the earth beneath her feet opened up and she was swallowed by the collapsing void. Awakening in the mangled pastiche of other worlds, Poppy wandered around, hopelessly trying to find any familiar sights or faces before she stumbled across a town called 2Fort, an oasis of some semblance of order amidst the chaos around her. Drawn to a familiar sensation, Poppy decided to make camp in the little settlement for the time being, at least until she could strike out and finally track down the Hero. In the meantime, a little Demacian style order would be just what this settlement needed anyway!CHARACTER CAPABILITIES
~SKILLS~
Poppy is a fighter through and through. She specializes in charging down enemies and knocking them around with her trusty Hammer of Orlon, able to take just as much punishment as she can dish out and still keep opponents locked down and away from more vulnerable allies, though she is by no means a slouch when she's fighting solo. She also fights with a buckler called the Iron Ambassador, and while it is obstensively a defensive weapon she's gotten more use out of it by bouncing it off of enemies.
Poppy is also a skilled blacksmith, able to maintain, repair, and create metal objects with the proper tools, though she is most comfortable with items that she is familiar with, such as high fantasy style weapons and armor. In addition, while she doesn't see herself as a leader, she has a knack for raising the spirits of her allies as she charges into battle, often turning a hopeless situation into a fighting chance for victory.
~SPECIAL ABILITIES~
Hammer Shock- Poppy smashes her hammer into the ground as an attack. The crushed ground slows down enemies before it erupts and deals more damage to anyone caught in the blast.
Steadfast Presence- Poppy steels herself temporarily, increasing her defense and speed and blocking any enemy who dashes near her for a period of time (ie running would work, flying in with a jetpack would knock you down).
Heroic Charge- Poppy smashes into an enemy and knocks them back, doing more damage and stunning them if they get pinned to a wall or other similarly solid object.
Keeper's Veredict- Poppy swings her hammer overhead and smashes it into the ground, sending out a shock-wave that travels in the direction she hits. When it hits an enemy or a closely grouped set of enemies, a giant hammer erupts from the ground and knocks them into the air and far away from her. The distance increases depending on how long she 'charges' it, with an instant hit knocking up all enemies around her instead.
~Perks~
Adorable (n/a)
~Faults~
Keeps messing up jokes. (n/a)
~Weaknesses~
While Poppy is quite the bruiser, she has little to no options for fighting at range, and can be easily worn down by an enemy who fights from afar and keeps their distance. In addition, her special abilities require a cooldown after each use, with the Keeper's Veredict being especially long, and if she uses abilities too much in a short period of time she needs to rest or wait before she can use them again. Also, while Poppy has some knowledge of post-feudal technology, mostly the kind of stuff that wouldn't be out of place in a steampunk setting, she is thoroughly unfamiliar with anything considered modern technology and beyond and could have trouble working with that sort of equipment.INVENTORY & EQUIPMENT
~CURRENTLY EQUIPPED GEAR~

MEDALS AND ACCOLADESEXTRA
Yordles have exceptionally long lifespans. Poppy is at least 200+ years old and is still considered rather young.
Also, since we have a fair amount of players/characters I think that in the future I'm going to generally split things between two missions, that way we don't have a dozen characters to bulldoze their way through things. Right now it's not an issue since everyone is pretty under equipped and under 'leveled' but later on that'll change.
>please add void champions as encounters so Kerrigan can access cool abilities.
>Speaking of Kerrigan's ability to siphon essence and not really needing much loot, would she roll for the abilities of a creature she has slain? Or are we gonna do a points system where every so many creatures she gets to choose on of their abilities?
<Snipped quote by Crosswire>
>I'm posting a lot forgive me.
>We should have solo/duo missions as well for plot points sometime! Maybe relating to a character's homeworld.
>Like a swarm of zerg infest an area and Kerrigan refuses to let anyone help her tame it cause she don't want peeps to die.
>Or like, Draugr are swarming an area we gather food in, familiar with the undead both Tam and Cedar are sent there to take care of it.
>Or Poppy's case, a Noxian warband has been setting up base not far from town, afraid their ruthless nature would mean they try and invade 2Fort, she takes a few played characters with her to make peace or squash the potential invasion.
@FrozenEcstasyTo be fair Kaiser only convinced me to add League of Legends recently. I wasn't sure at first since I'm very unfamiliar with the game and mostly know it from bad first hand experience. So I apologize if I forgot to mention it was being added, I'm still working on adding stuff from the game into the lists.
<Snipped quote>
What are void champions? They sound pretty kickass.
<Snipped quote>
We're going to be doing a point system like I talked about in our PMs. When Kerrigan siphons essense from an enemy she gets points towards evolving and gaining a new ability. It'd look like this:
Kerrigan's Essense Level
0/5 /////
Certain enemies give certain degrees of essence. Unmodified humans and animals wouldn't give Kerrigan much essence because she's genetically superior to them. While aliens, mutants, and monsters would give a lot of essence due to their diverse nature or potential genetic superiority to Kerrigan's current form. Certain enemies wouldn't give any essence at all like robots, certain types of undead, and the like.
When Kerrigan reaches the point she can evolve you get the choice between developing a new Psi-Power (I'll roll up three randomly and you can pick one power from the results) or assimilating an ability from one of the enemies she drained (I'll generate viable options and let you pick one).
Every time Kerrigan evolves the amount of essence needed to evolve further will increase. Let's say that it starts out as 5, and then goes up to 7, 9, 11, est.
How does that sound?
<Snipped quote by FrozenEcstasy>
Solo and duo missions sounds like a really neat idea. Having missions tied to plot points or relating to certain characters worlds is another neat idea. I'll take that into consideration when working out missions and the like. Thanks for the suggestion Frozen. No need to apologize for posting a lot, I've been pretty antsy myself and love to have something to do here while I wait.
Void champs are in fact combatants.
The best one among them for an encounter would be Cho'Hath who has the ability to grow to monstrous sizes.
@Crosswire
<Snipped quote by FrozenEcstasy>
note that most apart from the wee voidlings and voidspawn, all void champions are named individuals rather than species, so are more boss monster than random encounter fodder. The lore has swarms of the things, the game, less so. unless everyone plays Malzahar and buys Zz'Rot portals.
also there's Xer'Sai, which are smaller versions of Rek'Sai, who is a cool land shark.
If you where going to add anything from the game it might be the shop item pool and maybe some of the champion's equipment, depending on whether you have unique items in the pool
