And in an instant it was all gone.
The fabric of reality buckled like a book case collapsing in on itself. Dimensions, entire planes of existence never meant to intertwine were crushed on top of one another until they began to crumble. Planets were pulled apart as the very laws that held them together, that allowed them to exist at all, ceased to function.
When "The Event" stopped all that remained were broken remnants. Pieces of the underwater city of Rapture, fragments of the alien invaded Reach, the Arklay Mountains near Raccoon city, and the bits and pieces of countless other worlds all drifting through the ethereal void of nonexistence. They were like islands with the people, places, and things on them perfectly preserved.
Unable to move, unable to think, unable to perceive what had happened or what would become of them.
All of existence could have ended there, but something began to happen.
Bit by bit the fragments began to bunch together. Entire chunks of once whole planets packed together with lands, locales, and buildings of various worlds piling on. Mass and particles were drawn together, forming a star and eventually a moon.
Light shined, gravity pulled, and time began to move forward as a new set of rules was formed from the remaining shreds of other realities.
As the sun rose over the new, patchwork world for the first time the people, creatures, and entities that had been carried along with the fragments awoke to found themselves displaced.
Citizens, soldiers, survivors, test subject, knights, were presented with a twisted world filled with wonder they had never dreamed off...and horrors they never could have imagined.
Undying monstrosities of pestilence, vicious cold hearted mercenaries, alien zealots, blood thirsty robots, and deformed genetic drug abusers were just a fraction of what they found themselves contending against.
So people ran, wandering and desperately trying to survive. In the new world there was no law, no established rule, no one to keep them safe but themselves. Yet they continued to move, over rolling hills, across vast stretches of water, and through landscapes they dared not put to word. They searched hoping to find a safe place, a sanctuary.
What they found was a place called 2Fort.
Mistaking it for some kind of town people began to settle down and tried to make it into somewhere they could live.
This is where our story begins.

You get all that?
Long story short, this is a role play that revolves around the mass crossover of various video games into a single world. It focuses on an original plot of survival, struggle, and adaption to the bizarre patchwork world they're all stuck living on.
The roleplay will put emphasis on randomized loot and building up the 'town' of 2Fort.
Starting off the 'town' will have very little to offer and will be vulnerable to attack from countless horrific enemies. The town of 2Fort will grow and prosper, or wither and die at the actions of you and your characters.
Player characters that can't simply find food, ammo, armor, weapons, and items whenever it's convenient for them. Instead a large loot table made up of things from the countless video games involved will be used to determine what you find.
Now you're probably asking what series are involved in the roleplay.
Here's a list of games I chose as a base to start from. However more games can be added at player request. If you wanted to play a character from Metroid, or Final Fantasy, or simply felt having elements of a game in the RP would add to things then that game could be added. The Items, enemies, and various elements/locals from that game would be incorporated into the lists/tables I have.
So if at first glance this roleplay doesn't interest you, keep in mind that you can suggest virtually any game series you enjoy.
However there are some rules regarding what games can and cannot be allowed into the roleplay:
#1: The video game can't be spun off of an existing piece of media. So nothing tied to anime, comic books, novels, or film. If I didn't have this rule it'd be total chaos even if it would give me an excuse to ruse RWBY Grimm Eclipse.
#2: The game needs to be reasonable for the setting of the role play as a whole. A game where characters can casually blow up planets would not work here for example.
#3: The game needs to be suggested for the right reasons. I don't want people trying to powerplay or metagame. If you want to stroke your ego and game the system to be the strongest, then don't bother joining this rolplay. This is meant to be about the adventure and the narrative we craft, the excitement of adventure and the struggles of making do with what we can scrounge up.
And that's pretty much it. Here is the list of games the roleplay starts off made up of:

Note: I'm allowing Original Characters from established game universes to be apped alongside canon characters, but please don't abuse my leniency here.
