<Snipped quote by Lord Wraith>

Every single day there is/are:
Multiple murders
Armed conflict
Numerous rapes
Humans are polluting the planet
Commercial sacrifice of animals (I personally quite enjoy that one especially chicken)
Whatever atrocities I didn't bother to mention.

Compared to Krypton Earth is a backwards hick planet of destruction and barbarism.

In the 'For The Man Who Has Everything' comic, Krypton is shown to have become increasingly shitty and dystopian if it didn't get blown to shit (keep in mind, this is Superman's ideal version of Krypton; you can only imagine how fucked up it would've been if it actually survived). Really, it's no better than Earth. Then again, that version of Krypton was just a figment of Superman's imagination, so I'm probably wrong and Krypton really was just a utopian planet where there is no wrong.

But really, let's all stop arguing about this because it serves no purpose; the point is Kara doesn't want to live in Superman's shadow and shouldn't live in his shadow. If that means choosing an alias that's unrelated to Superman's alias, then good on her. And hey, if she's a space racist then that's cool too. Doesn't mean anyone has to like it, in fact most people will probably hate it, but still, let her keep doing her.

I liked the name Andromeda... that chick from Legion wasn't used enough IMHO. If I could throw an original name into the hat I'd say 'Solara' since her powers are like Superman's and dependent on solar radiation. @Burning Kitty

I changed my mind again. Solara is her code name now.

I actually find the space-racism kinda funny, and it leaves room for character development as Kara gets used to our "primitive" ways.

That and we get the fun experience of explaining how things work on Earth; like how our cars are powered by liquified fossils and how cheese is actually just mouldy milk.

Daxamites [cousins to Kryptonians] are xenophobes and hate anything that isn't from Daxam. They're also allergic to lead rather than kryptonite.

No... Daxamites. They've got the same powers and such under a yellow sun, but lead can kill them if they're overexposed. They lived a couple space sectors away from Krypton. I think in their history they colonized another planet because they basically had their own way of doing things and knew Krypton was going to explode within a few centuries. Kinda how the Controllers are offshoots of the Guardians of the Universe despite looking so different.

Just to briefly touch on the bagged milk thing, in all the time that I've lived in Canada I think I've seen bagged Milk once.

@Sir Lurksalot Yeah, must be an east and west thing then. I didn't even find out that this was a stereotype until something like two or three years ago.

I'd like to point out that we got it from our Mother Nation. The US just rebelled and said screw it to the 'U'. So he could be British!

Who knows? You certainly won't. Not until our infiltration is complete and the Queen takes her rightful place as Sovereign of both sides of the Great Lakes...

Here's the episodes summaries, mentors, and groups for the first few missions. Groups may change slightly if we get any more members before we get the IC going. Each smaller story will be tied to the group mission later on.

Ep. 1 - Rebirth - After the first wave of recruits are brought into Metro Tower, Batman takes a squad to investigate reports in St. Roch about a humanoid lion man.

Mentor: Batman

Group: Bulleteer, Lizard, Warden, Question
__________________________________

Ep. 2 - Mad World - Brainwave causes chaos in Midway City trying to impress his peers in supervillainy.

Mentor: Green Lantern

Group: Toon Girl, Capt. Marvel, Judgement, GYPSY
__________________________________

Ep. 3 - The Fallen - An alien biker falls from the stars and the League sends a team to investigate.

Mentor: Superman

Group: the Rookie, Mr. Clutch, Solara, Polarity Man
_________________________________________

Ep. 4 - Kids These Days - Most of the League is turned into old folks by the villain Extant and only the unaffected heroes can save them before somebody dies.

Mentor: None

Group: Everyone will be involved in this one, either as an elderly version of yourself or one of the few who's gonna save us.

Unaffected heroes: Toon Girl, Capt. Marvel, Judgement, Polarity Man

Question regarding episode 4; will the fact that The Warden's aging is greatly slowed affect the age to which he is set, or is it just like, a blanket "you're an old dude now" sorta deal?

@The Angry Goat Yeah it's gonna effect everyone. The plant creature thing may not age but the host body would look like an elderly dude for a bit.

Extant basically has the power to rewrite the universe. He was the big threat of the 90's DC event Zero Hour... until it was revealed to be Parallax LOL.

Kryptonians age slower on under a yellow sun so would that mean the aging process affects people at different rates?

Ep 3 sounds like Lobo.

So for two eps my character will have time to work on her mission to get back to her home and time.

@Burning Kitty That whole slower Kryptonian aging thing always confused me. I mean I know in a bunch of different superman renditions he doesn't age a whole lot (if at all) past his prime but how come he wasn't effected by this when he was a baby or a kid?
