I'll be using my phone to reply until tomorrow, so no fancy formatting for the rest of the night but I'll still be able to reply for a little while. Trying to convince my brain to let me go to bed lol.

The joke about the disguise is this 'bear' hood also has antlers draped with strips of cloth painted with various prayers and symbols.
Its a disguise meaning to look like hes wearing the pelt of a fiend instead of being an obvious fiend-mutt.

So just so I'm understanding you correctly, if you weren't outright looking for a demon or fiend you wouldn't necessarily know he was one at first glance, correct?

My understanding is that demons take a good number of forms. A fiend is a type of demon that's just a mess of predatory animals and all of their bloodlust, in short. Fiends are huge and hulking, but Luci is a halfbreed and the hood is to disguise his own antlers...and the slit pupils. Keeping his mouth mostly shut hides the row of vicious fangs and forked tongue...its in my cs. x_x

And yeh, it probably is a little hot under the bear cloak.

Living in the wilds and knowing demons when he sees or smells them, Adam is interesting in that he doesn't smell like a human. As stated in the post, he doesn't see it as any of his concern, even if he knew what it meant. Luci has no clue who anyone even is. Probably shouldn't say anything about a 'hunch' about someone with friends in a human community. xD

Well, he's never been in a human community before. He's always lived in his human shell, and he's terrified. Because he's terrified, the smell of mutt blood is something that just passes over his head. He's not really thinking about it.

That, and I forgot to have him smell it.

A fair point. Its understandable, just that the hearts of humans and their distinct scents is one thing that would be easy to overlook if one was a bit off. However, a demon is something different. It can be excused as terror and overlooking Luci because he smells enough like a human for it to not matter enough to be worth noting.
