i'll keep the reserves happy till you come up with a natural way for me to enter the story; heck, if you have an introduction that needs my character a certain way, totally cool too :p
Backstory: For Jake, the war between the three nations left him with nothing. No friends, no family, no material possession. Nothing.
To say that Jake Armstrong is your typical war victim would be an understatement. No one knows if Armstrong is his real last name. He doesn't talk about his past nor wishes to. The last name "Armstrong" is a name he picked up after he started wandering the freelands on his own. From one town to another. Doing as much as "honest" work as possible. It typically ranged from odd jobs like playing housekeeper to even playing music or D.J. at certain social groups as odd as that may sound considering it's the freelands.
One thing that Jake picked up quick was mech maintiance. People within the freelands who had hired him to assist with mech repairs says the "music head is also a gear head". It was through this reputation that Jake was offered a job at the Outcast Guild on the side to be their technician should the need for it arise. Agreeing, he was then given a used mech that he personally repaired and modded to handle whatever jobs that now come his way.
Tactical Preference & Skills: Despite what his appearance may say, Jake is a survivor and a surprisingly good mech pilot, usually liking to plan things out over rushing in if possible though sometimes his emotions do get the better of him. Other than his love for music, Jake also knows how to maintain a variety of mecha and other machinery so long as he's gotten familiar with said mech and machinery.
Quote: "Get out the plates because you got served." - Direct quote from Advance Wars.
Hand Slot 1: Jet Magnum - Basically, three stakes on each hand that pop out into place charged with plasma for a powerful melee punch.
Hand Slot 2: Assault Rifle - Your generic 30 round clip assault rifle.
Sub Weapon Slot: Small submachine gun
Shoulder/Back Spot: Spare assault rifle clips
Gadget Slot: "Ghost" system - A special system that Jake and another within the Outcast Guild helped him repair, the "Ghost" system makes the Gespenst invisible to radar and lock-on systems, giving it an edge against mecha that over rely on targetting systems.
Stats Scale
Light/Heavy Body: 5
Accuracy & Tracking/FIrepower: 5
Air Mobility/Thrusters: 5
Solo/Skirmisher: 5
Flavour Text: Just like in the Super Robot Wars universes, the Gespenst was also a "mass produced" mech used by many a nation over the course of the 100 years of warfare before it became obsolite. It started as a Mark 1 due to it's cheap production costs but lacked the Jet Magnums and the "Ghost" system. After awhile, better mecha were produced and the Gespenst was left by the wayside. Jake though managed to upgrade it to Mark 2 status, adding the Jet Magnums and "Ghost" system he found when on mecha part hunts. It's not the best mech but it's well-balanced.
also @Feyblue I hope i wrote project FURY like you imagined it.
Name:
Phoebe Norah
Phoebe is of average height, standing at 5'4 or 1,65 metres. She has dark red hair which ends below the scapula, her face is very feminine and she doesn’t look very muscular at all. Her eyes are the color grey with a turquoise tint and her skin is somewhat pale. She always manages to have a red nose and cheeks no matter how cold or embarrassed she is. Her body is filled with cybernetic implants which are visible in some places. the attire she wears is almost always the same, Black short jeans which go half way down her thighs under which she wears black panties. Long black boots cover her feet while her upper body is covered by a black trench coat under which a corset is loosely tied. A long collar always sits around her neck attached to the coat.
Height:
5’4 / 1,64 meters
Weight:
140 lbs. / 63 kg
Age:
20
Gender:
Female
Origin:
The Hylo Empire
Personality:
Phoebe is a hot-headed girl who thinks with her heart. She takes pride in her ‘mech skills’ and doesn’t skip an opportunity to brag about it. She tends to judge people at first sight and is very stubborn in her ways. Teasing people is more usual to her than a simple greeting and she always has something to say. Despite being more obnoxious then a non-stop crying baby, she is compassionate and caring. Her attitude is always bright and uplifting, only the direst of situations could bring her spirit down. It is in her nature to help people around her, even though she acts lazy most of the time. If an innocent person was in danger, she would not hesitate to jump in action, even if it would hurt her. This is not to mistake her lack of fear for death; in fact she is terrified of it. But that is precisely why she tries to save as many people as she can, to save them from that fate. She also doesn’t know how to swim, which gives her an automatic fear of large bodies of water.
Backstory:
Phoebe was born in the year 2215, the year that the great Orio war began. This simple fact meant that Phoebe would grow up in constant danger, always paranoid, always on guard. Her father was send to fight up north for the majority of the war, while her mother worked the clock in a hospital. Yet she always remained happy and cheerful, and Luckily her family inherited quite a bit of money which allowed her to at least grow up with a maid and butler.
Because the war took a lot of men away from their jobs to fight, Phoebe ended up working as a construction worker from the age of 12. She was given an old mk1 mech which barely functioned as it was. But on the occasion that her father returned, he taught her all about mechs, how to control, and fix them. This in turn developed her love for mechs, because through them, she could connect to her father. Every time he came home, she would show him what adjustments or additions she build onto the mech. Until one day in the year 2231, when her father didn’t return; men in black came, telling her that her father fought bravely, but died on the front lines. She was heartbroken, and for days did she mourn. Yet after a few weeks, when she started returning to her cheerful ways, a letter was delivered, telling Phoebe to come to an old abandoned garage. In that garage was her father’s mkII mech; FR-8R, which he gave to her as a parting gift. But the letter also had a few disturbing words. It said that her father was involved with a crime syndicate which he owned money too, a lot. Apparently they didn’t inherit money from their grandparents, it all came from the syndicate, and he couldn’t pay his debts, so they killed him; and now they want Phoebe to pay her father’s debts. The mech was only a gift so she could do her job, fight the syndicate’s wars for them. Furious at the syndicate for taking her father from her, she swore to bring every member of that horrible faction to justice, but she wasn’t stupid. She needed combat training, and the knowledge to be a good fighter.
Telling her mother what she was going to do would only upset her, so she opted to leave a message and leave in the night. Only on that night, someone came to Phoebe. She was asked if she wanted to become part of something bigger than herself, but most of all, become a fighter. Project FURY was its name, and in her desperate state, she said yes.
During all the experiments and the tests, she remained strong, a clear goal always in mind. No amount of pain could sway her resolve, because revenge was one hell of a motivation. 4 years of rigorous training made her into a considerably good fighter, but there is only so much you can do in that amount of time. Phoebe grew restless, she wanted to leave and find the syndicate, but the project was reluctant to release her. She didn’t think she would get out anytime soon, so she made a questionable choice. During one of her practice rides with the FR-8R, she found an open spot and escaped. For a while she wandered the lands, learning what she could. And then she found the Outcast Guild. It was a good opportunity for her to get some money while looking for the syndicate legally, and she’s worked for them ever since.
Tactical preference and skills:
Trained in most ways of combat, she doesn’t have one particular fighting style, though she does prefer getting close and personal. Her heavy mech fights with slow heavy hits, and the weapons reinforce that style. Thought she can be reckless when emotional, she has learned to decently control them in combat. Of course she is no more than an adept since she has had a short amount of training.

Name/Title:
FR-8R ‘Freighter’ MKII
Body & Type:
Humanoid Bipedal
Equipment and armaments:
Hand slot 1: A hydraulic impact hammer, able to extrude large amounts of force. Designed to quake the impacted area intensely.
Hand slot 2: a large laser cutter, able to cut most materials.
Sub weapon slot: Nail gun; fires steel bolts that can be used for multiple purposes.
Shoulder/Back slot: Large Titanium dome-shaped shield. can be attached to arms or back.
Gadget slot: x-ray sensor & small welder, can be used to meld or weld.
Stats scale:
Light/heavy body: 9 despite the thin posture of the mech, the materials and design make it a very hardened vehicle; intricate details went into the mech to make it very tough to damage.
accuracy & tracking/Firepower: 3 because of it's primary weapons being either very short range or very precise, accuracy is very important to the bot. this also means that the firepower lies in its ability to hit it's target. which doesn't happen very often.
Air mobility/Thrusters: 5 Freighter is unable to fly, yet is not the fastest mech around. it is merely average. although it can use short bursts of speed to melee opponents; the boost lasts for about 10 seconds which has a cooldown of 2 minutes.
Solo/Skirmisher: 8 to say this mech is focused on infiltration and assasination is to say cats swim in water. nuff said.
Flavor text:
The FR-8R used to be a standard MKII model, but through the endless tinkering of both father and daughter, it was transformed into what you see today. The mech is a hardened vehicle, it has endured countless battles, all of which it survived without losing functionability. The initials NH are painted on it; a reminder to Phoebe who it belonged to once. Harold Norah.
@addamasAs far as Project FURY is concerned, everything seems to pretty much match up. Since she wasn't one of the three "supersoldiers" from the Pygmalion Institute, it also makes sense that she doesn't have a fury-inspired codename, or an institute-sanctioned super mech. Should be interesting to see what happens if Aster runs into her, though, since she's probably under orders to dispose of all deserters and traitors. "You know too much," and all that.
Backstory: Not much is known of Sonja Nakano. While she claims to be a war orphan, some wonder if there's any truth behind that. All that's known is that she was personally scouted by the founder of the Outcast Guild to be one of their many members of the Comms Centre. Due in part to her knack with computers and other related equipment.
It's also said that she also excels in information gathering and reconnisance. Usually handling that part of the job should it be requested.
A female teen who seems devoid of human feelings, she does speak and act normally but tends to keep things professional when on the job.
Tactical Preference & Skills: Sonja is the "brains" of any group she's in. She believes in always having a plan and never going in and "rolling with the punches" as some tell her to sometimes. A computer and software manager as well as being a radio operator, she always does her best to assist with any problems within or outside the Outcast Guild.

Okay, posted! I figured you'd want me to hold of on the melee portion so that we can know how the Sentinel is receiving this abundance of return fire. xD

Smart move. It did just receive a missile strike and a Mech sized AA-12 burst lol. I'd like to see what is left standing.
@DarkRecon Oh sorry, I must have missed your second post to me, I assumed the character sheet was still in progress.
The Jake CS seems okay, but I'd like some more detail on the weapons, also, while the picture of the mech is fine, you will have to remove all references to it being a part of the Super Robot Wars universe as to keep in step with the RP world.
