If this is supposed to be an interest check, I really would recommend having it on the Interest Check forum as opposed to here. But for the record, I am interested.

A little more detail on the world and the tribe would be nice, though. For example, the line 'Were they no longer considered Gods in the new world?' implies that the members of this tribe previously interacted with the world, and then isolated themselves. What's up with that?

@thewizardguy I also said 'ancient spirits living on in modern bodies', meaning, they had lived previous lives and were virtually unaware there were people other than them in this world. If that even makes sense? I'm bad at explaining things.

Edit; they were pretty much born in isolation, living in the middle of some distant forest until they were found by researchers. As part of an internship for college, the 'modern folk' are chosen to introduce them to modern customs.

If this is in the interest check, it should be fine. I'm genuinely interested, but to be honest, there are a lot of conflicting points that just didn't add up. First of all, if they are spirits living in modern bodies, where do those bodies coming from? When you say ancient spirits, the spirit itself must be very old, thousands of years in age, but since Lotus, your character, is only 19, so I assume that the number 19 is the age of the carrier (the human vessel). If they are unaware that there are others living in their world, where and how do they get the bodies?

Secondly, I have a conflicting state of mind about the plot. The thing I know for sure is that a group of modern people helped the tribe people to get accustomed to human world. But since Lotus was tortured for being 'monsters', why would they try to get the spirits out to the world if the world has yet to accept them? Do they do it in secret? And I find a bit hard to believe that in the modern world, people would go out and torture supernatural beings because they are...you know, supernatural.

Finally, I am also conflicted about the way you are intending to go. So you wrote this

'Now, with doubt set into their minds, enemies form from pairs who once were the best of friends. Relationships change.

And a new worldly group brings them to the modern world to have a chance at a normal life.'

Now I don't really get it here. Do you intend to make the central point of the RP is for the spirits and gods to get accustomed to the modern world, or do you want to make the central point is around solving the issue of a doubt that I don't really know what it is? That you should point it out clearly in the OOC. And by the way, you appear to mistaking Lotus's gender. He was covered in blood that was not 'her' own.

I have an interest in this idea of interaction between natural and supernatural beings, especially this one, but I honestly think the plot and the way you are going to develop the RP must be pointed out clearly. Otherwise, I would feel very awkward trying to roleplay in a world I don't really know the rules.

I gotta be completely honest with you, I wrote this at around 2 am.. didn't think it through too well. As for the misgendering, I decided I wanted Lotus to be a guy and I guess I missed a pronoun when I changed it. I'll be sure to fix that.

1. They were born into the new bodies, and their parents died off (that's the best explanation I can think of). Think of the whole spirit thing like reincarnation of some sort; his physical age is 19, but he has the knowledge you would expect from an ancient spirit.

2. Again, I wrote this at 2 am. Not my best work. I'm going to have to change that.. let's say, for now, that they think these people are just normal humans that were raised in the wild (or something similar), so they're trying to give them a normal life.

3. I intend it to be the tribe adjusting to modern life.

I do apologize for my conflicting points, I'll be sure to update the post asap. I hope I explained everything in a way that makes sense.
