Okay, I have a question for everyone here. I'd say the guild has been around for about 7 months so I was wondering how long your chars have been members of it. So we can get a rough idea of how well we know and trust eachother.

That is a good question.....umm.... I would say maybe 2? no more than that though. Roxy would watch for awhile.

Well I'm waiting for approval, I edited my char so that her age is more valid. She arrived when she was 17 so her b-day would have to be recent or happen while I'm in, if accepted. Thanks @Hazy for asking that question, otherwise i would of made a mistake.

@Hazy I'd say my character must have had a hand in founding it (if that's alright with you). He's short, fat, and not too dextrous, so it'd make sense for him to hire others to do the thieving for him.

@Hazy I imagine Kai to be one of the newer members, so a couple of weeks? Though he's already been at Luthias for a few months.

@Hazy I'd say Garrett's been with the Thieves Guild for a month or so, considering that he's only recently heard of it.

@Hazy I'd say Annie was there at the start. It seems to fit her role that it may have started around her as an informant.

Feel free to dismiss the idea but, given our set of characters, I imagine that Shi (@bloonewb) got wind of her business as an informant. Annie would wander the city selling her ale and keeping her eyes and ears open - then return and sell this information to anyone interested in return for a cut of what they stole. There weren't always people around quick enough to make use of information or people willing to take some jobs so some went to waste.

This is where Shi saw the chance to make more money and not let that information go to waste. He made a deal with Annie that her information all came to him and then he pulled together groups of thieves, pickpockets etc and put the information to the most efficient use. I'm thinking perhaps they use Annie's tavern to run some of the operation from - planning in the backrooms and stuff.

Sorry I haven't run this past anyone else yet, let me know what you all think.

Sounds like a good idea to me, to be honest.

It's pretty good but there are some minor problems with the backstory. Namely that there isn't any necromancy - or any form of magic in this universe. I guess the fantasy tag might've been somewhat missleading but if you fix that minor problem you'll be accepted.
