They will always tell you that there were no such things as Gods or Demigods. That it was all a myth, a legend. Yet ancient depictions and ancient tales tell you of powerful beings who have guided human hand through centuries of careful study and power.
While they are mostly true. There are no such things as Gods or Demigods, there have always been the most Ancient of people. These Ancient’s are powerful mages who have studied in an alternate world among ours. They have practiced until they are allowed into the mortal world as Saints, Mentors, Teachers, etc. To help teach of their land, to help teach magic, share information, and so and so forth.
You are the next Generation in cultivating and crowning the next era. Mage’s have been sent to the Mortal world every time there is a milestone to achieve.
This RP starts in the land of the Ancients or Mages. They are powerful magic users who have helped shaped the hand of Human existence since the span of time. Helping lead them to milestone after milestone. You are one of the Ancients, one of these Mage’s. Your final exam is coming up to enter the Mortal world. You have lived your life among wagons pulled by horses, kings, and dragons soar the land. Ancient magic rules the land.
And eventually you will enter the Mortal World. To help Guide as others have in the past.
This RP starts off firstly in the land of Ancients. It’s your typical fantasy setting, it’s a land of elves, trolls, dragons, etc. Mages are considered “Human”, honestly the magic in their blood has made their lifespan quite extensive and they are considered more or less as a different bloodline to human beings. But for the most part they look human.
This RP will start during the Mage’s exam as they try to earn what they call the Mortal License. Which allows them to travel then to the Mortal World, the Human World. I am looking for 3 to 4 more dedicated people that aren’t myself for this first half.
But! I have a big genre shift for this RP and are looking for another 3 to 4 non Mages as well. I have planned that they will use the Mortal License to enter the Human World, and Mages from this high fantasy setting of magic and dragons, enters the 21st century of Science.
This world is our Modern world in 2015. And Humans no longer believe in magic, or the fairy tales of dragons, and trolls and elves. Instead it is the work of fiction on movies. The Mages are still bound by a sense of duty and have to find a new way to guide these Humans who do not believe in them.
I basically either need;
3 to 4 People Willing to Play a Mage and a Modern Human
Or
3 to 4 People Interested in Playing a Mage
And
3 to 4 People Interested in Playing Modern people
I do have some surprises for the Mages and the Modern people. But for now I want to see how many people would be interested in this very idea.
