Ajax was known as the bulwark of the Achaeans, who was trained by the centaur Chiron. Described as fearless, strong and powerful but also with a very high level of combat knowledge and intelligence. Ajax easily commands his army wielding a shield of great size being made out of seven layers of cow-hide and bronze. In his legends, Ajax was most noted to not be wounded in any of the battles described in the Iliad, and he is the only character on either side who does not receive substantial assistance from any of the gods who take part in the battles with the one exception when Poseidon restored his strength. Appearing as a mainly defensive warrior, instrumental in the defense of the Greek camp and the ships. When the Trojans are on the offensive, he is often seen covering the retreat of the Achaeans. Significantly, while one of the deadliest heroes in the whole poem.

?Class Skills?
Magic Resistance (B / C):
Saber's debatable skill, though he was an ancient hero coming from the Age of Gods, he displayed a notable lack of resistance to magical effects directed at him, which included intervention from Zeus to force his retreat. It is only by the blessing of Poseidon which grants Saber the rank up from his low Magic Resistance for a servant under the Saber class. Anything that pierces through Divinity will drop Saber's Magic Resistance down by a rank for that scenario.

Riding (C):
Unlike the other characters in the Iliad, Saber is rarely seen or known for driving on a chariot, most commonly seen fighting on foot instead.

?Personal Skills?
Duelist (B):
A skill given to those who are accomplished in either fighting one-on-one duels, or when fighting when outnumbered. Saber has this skill for both reasons, having numerous times in which he was stranded without help against the Trojan armies, fighting them off despite being outnumbered. Along with the notable event of stalemating Hector in a duel with him, the Trojan War's great hero. Thus, when he is fighting one opponent, his battle capabilities increase, with the bonus becoming larger for each enemy above two that he faces making him difficult to overwhelm.

Disengage (B):
Saber was renown as a defensive fighter, related to the skill above which allows him to be able to escape from even the most impossible battles against the Trojans. Escaping these battles remarkably throughout the poem of Iliad without taking any wounds from the wars which is amazing itself. In battle, even if he is pinned down by numerous enemies or attacks, he can still stand a strong chance of escaping from battle; this rank of the Disengage skill provides the additional benefit of decreasing the enemy's chance to hit as Ajax retreats.

Prana Burst (C):
The ability to infuse their weapons and body before expelling that energy instantly. Allowing Saber to use quick maneuvers and more agilely in combat to potentially out speed his opponents. Having a shield smack the daylight out of you is a good way to disorientate an opponent in Saber's case.

?Noble Phantasms?
Name: Rho Aias - The Shield of the 7 Inner Virtues

Description:
The legendary shield of Saber which was able to block the spear of Hector, something that never happened before during the entire events of the Trojan Wars. It takes on its original appearance of being a shield made with bronze and seven layers of oxhide which gives it incredible defense. In its unactivated form, it is even large enough to cover Saber who is described as a tall and broad man to have said to have literally stood head and shoulders above the rest of the men.

Sitting there silently, Rho Aias is a conceptual weapon of 'absolute defense against any projectiles', including thrown spears and arrows. Even the spear of Hector, legendarily said to break past any defense, was stopped by the power of Rho Aias, breaching to the seventh layer and no further. Even with its form of a bronze shield, it retains the conceptual powers and has a miniature bounded field around the shield itself. Allowing him to block whatever he shield itself can cover, easily deflecting or blocking projectiles under C-rank with little issues. B-rank projectiles will stagger Saber when blocking them while A-rank projectiles will be blocked but will force Saber to root himself in place or be pushed back by the force. Noble-Phantasms however, are completely different subject, only capable of blocking anything of B-Rank projectiles and under in this form and is easily overwhelmed by anything outside of an Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm.

Should Rho Aias be used to defend against an attack which it cannot, layers of the shield will be destroyed in occurrence with the strength of them. Anti-Army Noble Phantasm take up to 2-3 layers damaging Saber for 1/2 of their amount while Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasms will take 4-5 layers off the shield and damage Saber for 3/4 of their amount.

Name: Rho Aias - The 7 Radiant Rings of Heaven

Description:
Upon uttering the true name of Saber's shield, it takes on its true appearance and crystallizes as the petals of a hyacinth, warm yellowish orange with streaks of red coming from the center, flow out from the edges of the shield. Covering and ensuring a space large enough for the complete protection of the front side and part of the sides. With seven petals in total, they represent the layers of the shield and if these layers are broken through these petals will fade away just the same. Weakening significantly for each layer disappearing from the actual physical counter part itself.

The larger version of The Inner Virtues, its defensive capabilities are much superior than its smaller and petite form, with layer having the defensive power of a fortress wall. It is easily capable of stopping any projectiles including Noble Phantasm of the strongest variety up to A-Rank will stop at the 7th layer. Those projectiles who are above A-Rank are truly powerful weapons, with A+ Rank cracking the 7th layer and A++ breaking the 7th layer leaving Saber simply exhausted at the effort but unharmed. Projectiles of these ranks can no longer be consider projectiles but 'beams of death and destruction' which are suited due to their devastating power and this is leaving out anything which touches A+++ rank...

Rho Aias however, cannot be denied as the epitome of defense against any Archer-class servant or projectile using Lancers. Against Noble Phantasms that are not projectiles, it will stop nearly any of them except for those of Anti-Fortress levels with impressive power behind them, maxing out at B-Rank which he can block. For each layer these attack breach, they progressively drain mana for each one but if used correctly this Noble Phantasm doesn't take much prana to use but the usage of his other half of his Noble Phantasm is used correctly, this half should rarely be touched.

((If should Rho Aias miraculously be broken through, Saber has the option of defending with the physical shield Rho Aias itself which will possibly mitigate some damage depending on the strength of the attack which can be seen in the description above. Otherwise, if Saber should decided to brunt the attack himself it would be wise to do so unless he would otherwise be destroyed.))

Name: Blessing of Poseidon

Description:
The Noble Phantasm that Saber has was due to his prominence as a notable warrior from the poem Iliad who received no boons from any of the gods who partook in the war. His only and single exception was the god Poseidon who restored his strength and rewarded the hardy and stubbornness of the warrior. Being the only case of divine interference that happened during the war, it has manifested as a notable event from his legend when he was summoned as a servant. Adding a positive modifier to his Endurance along with a rank up in his Mana parameter and Magic Resistance skill.
