A wave of unease hit Bonny the second the doors to the truck were opened. The ride there had been a growing ball of silent tension for her, with nothing to do but wait for the inevitable. Deep breathing, tapping her foot, none of them really helped to settle her nerves for when they got there. Booker had went to take the lead, standing in front of the group with a rather hard look and ordering them to move. Well, he was certainly doing a good job of his acting. His words and actions sent a slight shiver down her spine- he felt like a whole different person.

She stepped out after Shawn, trying to avoid looking at anyone in the group in order to look natural. It looked like Shawn had the whole ‘don’t just speak in english’ thing down, much to her relief. Although her verbal language wasn’t able to help disguise her, her body language helped her blend in and fit the role of terrified, stolen child. Mostly because she was, in fact, very terrified. She was hunched over a little, silent, eyes darting around the building in a mix of curiosity and fear. She took in everything around her as they were marched further and further into the building; although she didn’t have the time to look over each screen and device in detail, she could gather that whatever it was doing wasn’t very good.

Once they crossed the odd coloured door and reached further into the lab, Bonny nearly froze at the sight she was met with. There were kids, just like them, except dehumanized, strapped down and prodded and examined more like rats than people. She turned her head away after the first few seconds of looking, unable to stomach the sight. The reassurance they’d be able to save them was a relief, but just the thought of it even happening in the first place…

She stood in awkward silence as the group waited around, and listened to Laura as she gave instruction. Incapacitate people? She didn’t have the skill for that. Maybe she could, like, slap someone. But not much else without her mutation. Bonnys eyes darted between everyone else in the group, hoping that the rest of the kids were secret martial arts masters or something.

Once they were in the hallway with all the prisoners, lab rats, slaves whatever you call them. Tatiana was reminded of home, except this time she was going to be on the other side. She didn't like the feeling. It made her want to murder everyone involved. She hadn't had anything to eat for a while, plane rides always made her extra hungry especially the really long ones. She always wondered if that was to do with the altitude. She started mumbling under her breath in her native language, people with super hearing would be able to hear her just fine but everyone else would hear a whisper garbled mess. One of the kids behind the glass who was currently not being tortured started speaking to her in her native language. She ran to the glass. He clearly wasn't a vampire. Continuing to speak in their native language she found he was like her, except he was not intended he was an accident like Blade but he was taken in by a vampire clan. She returned to her normal appearance and began to attack the glass seperating them. She wanted to pull out one of her knives but she wanted to save that for when she absolutely needed it. This glass was not normal it was withstanding the superhuman strength of two Dhampirs. She was shouting & cursing in her native language. One of the slave masters attacked her with a cattle prod, she turned to the bastard and jumped on him. She impaled her vampire teeth into his neck and began to drain him. Just as she started to fill her belly she was grabbed by several more slave masters. They held her down and sedated her, not enough to knock her out because no one could be bothered to carry her, but enough to take the fight out of her. They clearly didn't know what they were dealing with, an ingorance that would get them all killed. The slave master she was drinking from got up clutching his neck. He took his cattle prod and slammed it into her face. Tatiana began to taunt the man with by baring her teeth and licking the blood from them and her face. This only resulted in her being hit again. She could tell he put a lot of time in the gym.

Rose Mary didn't particularly pay attending to anything around her. None of it was a surprise to her, humans did this kind of stuff to animals, humans hated mutants so she was not surprised it was happening to mutants. Besides there was enough of them there not counting the X-Pendables that if they were smart and joined up they could have freed themselves from this. Clearly they were incabable or to stubborn to do that. She didn't even really pay attention to Tatiana's outburst. She just kept up the act of a mute mutant who was utterly defeated and resigned herself to her fate.

As they went through the complex, Heidi kept up babbling in terrified French and occasionally trying to make a futile run for it, only to be caught and thrown back with the group. Despite these theatrics, nothing escaped her attention From the monitors displaying information about the X-gene, to the reaction they got from the lab staff.

The more disturbing part to Heidi was when they entered the maximum security area. This time, she didn't have to act terrified and sickened. She saw children being experimented on, and even the ones that weren't didn't look happy to be here. What she was seeing was particularly horrible to Heidi, who's secret Pro-Registration standpoint was incredibly offended by the idea of taking ordinary kids, turning them into mutants, and for what? Weapons? Mutants weren't weapons. They were real people! These kids probably wouldn't even get trained how to use their mutation safely in here, but that's what we could do, if we helped them get out. On the way back, of course. There was a mission to finish first.

Heidi started waiting. Tataina started attacking some guards but was quickly incapacitated. They were trained for this. It wasn't unusual. It only made their backstory more believable. If they'd all behaved like school kids on a field trip tour, that would have been very suspicious. The truth is that children, when they think something bad's going to happen, often fight back. Heidi didn't yet, though. The character she'd decided to play was a coward, hence the attempts to escape. This young French girl, probably from a well-off family, certainly wouldn't try and fight.

"Olinda. We're from the Charles Xavier school for mutants. We can get you out of here to a place where you can safely hone your mutation and grow up, but we need your help first." Cable knew that she had found the van and tailed them for a little. She had revealed such in another timeline. "We're going to kill the head of alkali-transigen, who is going to wipe out mutants in the future. This company has to fall in order to ensure safety. You have the destructive power that we need."

"So, we're not going with the money bribe this time?" Wade whispered up to cable, who shook his head.

"You can't bribe people with my money, Wade."

"But it worked before..." Wade muttered, unsure of what else to add to the conversation.

Cable knelt down to Olida and looked at her with a calm, but still serious face. "Time is of the essence, Olinda, and everyone is counting on you." He gave her time to make her decision before standing back up and walking away. They needed to get going now, and they didn't have long before their window would begin to close.

Booker and Emma let Tatiana have her outburst. Laura and the others had explained to them that it was a possible course of action, and to let her take care of the proceedings.

Laura knew how tense it was watching all of the children in labs. It didn't matter if it was the first time or the thousandth time. These halls were once her own, those rooms once housed all of her friends and allies. These were the people who lived and possibly died in them before her. She blocked out the thoughts, and focused on Tatiana. Some of the other guards had moved in to subdue her. It was fine, she was putting up a bit of a struggle anyways. It was only after the one she fed from hit her again that she moved up.

Shawn watched silently, muttering various things in japanese. Laura was pretty cool.

Laura walked up to them silently, and looked at the duo of Booker and Emma. Both of them nodded, and Emma only put a hand on one of them as Emma used her telepathy to force him into unconsciousness. Non-lethal, cable's voice echoed in her mind. She would have loved to kill them, but keeping things mixed up like this ensured that the guards had no idea what they could do, or who could do what. Laura did the same with any other nearby guards, but instead of a gentle touch, she delivered solid punches. Emma pitched in again, but Laura could still knock anyone's lights out at any given moment.

"Holy crap. That was cool." Shawn smiled, still speaking japanese to his non-japanese speaking teammates.

Booker nodded in agreement. Indeed it was, but they needed to stay focused. "Alright everyone, combat time." Now that they had a second to speak, Booker generated a map of the facility. Having a telepath relay the information of a building from one brain to another was rather helpful.

"The corridor that we're in now splits off into two, symmetrical hallways. This antechamber has the office square in the center, and the two hallways converge down at the end back into a singular path. The way into the office is simple, but there are several offshoots that armed guards can and will enter from once we do our job. As soon as they find the guards here, they're going to sound the alarm. That's okay, just remember your training. Bonny, this is where your mutation is important. Once you're dreaming, we'll have you make various adjustments to the building. blocking off passageways, transforming weapons, that sort of thing."

"Rose Mary, Tatiana, please remember. No blood. incapacitate only. Shawn, keep an eye on how much electricity you're sending into people. remember where not to hit them to ensure you don't permanently harm them. Heidi, keep tabs during combat, if you can. Wade, Cable, and their guest will be arriving shortly to help sway our target, and after that, we'll be fighting our way out." He didn't mention chrys, but that was because Cable had something special planned, and only the techno-organic man could explain his role in the mission correctly.

"Now, let's get going. We're going to get in there. Bonny is going to seal off the room, so we can have some alone time with the president of Transigen."

And off they went.

Booker, Emma, and Laura made sure that the group only went down one hallway, as to not separate them just yet. Laura quickly and mercilessly beat down any guards in their path, assisted by Emma's telepathy, until they reached the doors to the office.

Using his powers as a conduit of mana, Booker wrenched the door open with a construct, forcefully bypassing any security measures set up to prevent such a thing. The alarms hadn't gone off yet, but it was only a matter of time.

"W-what?" An older gentleman sat in a desk in the office all by himself. His desk was rather simplistic, having no drawers of it's own. It was like wire framing, making most of his body visible to those who had just entered. "I'm not receiving any visitors today, especially by any Mutants!" He had moved his arm out to hit a button on his desk, but Booker stopped him with another construct. The man's whole body was encased in a slab of green energy, only his head exposed to allow him to breathe.

"Time to sleep, Bonny." Emma wrapped her slender arms around Bonny just before using her powers to bring another to sleep. She didn't want Bonny falling on the ground, so Emma sat down on the ground and set Bonny on her lap, much like a mother would do with their child.

Her eyes closed as the reached out fully to Bonny, connecting to her in Bonny's mind so that they could replace the broken door with a three foot deep wall of concrete, leaving only the ventilation system as the only way in or out of this room.

"Now that we're here, and everyone is just about ready, the alarms are going to go off, and our friends are going to join us with an explosive entrance." Booker explained, taking the reins as leader of the team again. The president of the company shouted and raved, using slurs at all of them, who he was sure were mutants because of Booker's powers.

It only took Laura sauntering closer and dragging a single claw over his face to get him to shut up in fear. It didn't help that the tense situation forced him to alleviate himself in the construct, making it a god awful sight for anyone watching.

"We need to keep you mutants in check!" The president said sternly. "your powers are unpredictable, and could cause massive harm to anyone nearby."

"We don't need control, mister president. We need the X-men. Protectors who will step in to combat these threats when they occur, not some way to restrain mutant kind to keep them from ever progressing." Booker said, keeping the man still. Still, he refused to listen, and the group simply had to wait until Wade and Cable got there before doing anything else.

Once in the building, Wade and Cable made sure their guest was close buy. The alarms had already started sounding, an indication of them being late. It wasn't a problem, though. Laura and the others should be waiting in the central office. Right now, Wade jumped around, swords in both hands, slicing anyone within a ten foot radius of him with the exception of his friend and new girl.

Cable was keeping himself busy by shooting anyone who wasn't being cut up, leaving Olinda with little to do right now. They two of them were easily turning the hallways into the scene of a massacre, almost as if they knew when and where each goon was going to show up.

It was a matter of time before they reached the office, now covered by a large block of concrete.

"Olinda." Cable looked down at her. "Can you open this up and close it once we're inside? The rest of our group is inside."

Getting in, Cable wasted no time coming up to Chrys. "Chrys. I need you to put everyone in this room in your subspace." He spoke loud enough to make sure everyone was hearing. "Every previous time on this mission, we were stopped because of something we could no foresee. Now that we know everything up until this point, Chrys needs to put us all in subspace so that we can deal with this man. Once he dies, the future will be altered, and Laura and possibly Wade will stop existing. This creates a paradox. While in subspace, we are no longer effected by the laws of time in space, which mean after his removal, Laura and Wade will continue to exist."

Olinda had been quick to decide to go with the two. She came over to them and walked along with them quickly not dropping her rock armor. She remained silent watching the two as they made their way to a building. When the alarms went off she sighed and started running. Wade left her little to nothing though the few that were left she knocked out. It was 5 people total. 30 some Wade.

They get to basically a block of concrete and when asked to open the black she did. Making an opening she let the two men in first before following after them. She closed the door she had made for them and leaned against the wall watching the other's. These kid's were from that school that they were talking about earlier? Huh, its kinda cool seeing others who are in the same boat as her in a way.

Shaking out of her mind she paid attention to the planning taking some rocks off of her glove and spinning them just in case of an attack she can take them down quickly. She looks at Cable listening to his explanation just nodding. At this point the fact that a kid could do this is not surprising but there was one question though."Who are we trying to save today?" She asks looking at Wade.

Tatiana was pissed at herself, pissed at the bastards who injected with the sedative, pissed that the time travellers didn't give her the bags of blood, and she was pissed she could drain the bastard who hit her with the cattle prod, it was the quickest way to reverse the effects of the drug. She could really use some blood now the damn drug was making her see things, disturbing things. Currently she was seeing a group of pink fluffy bunnies it started as two but bunnies always lead to more now there were about fifteen one was currently humping one of knocked out guards face. Another was sitting on Heidi's head sleeping. She walked up to one and tried to kick it but her balance was off, she ended up completely loosing her balance, and landed face first. When she looked up the pink fluffy bunny she tried to kick was starring at her with demonic eyes and smiling at her exposing its razor sharp teeth. She screamed at it to go away in her native language. While covering her face with her arms.

Rose Mary thought it might be a good idea to take Tatiana's weapons away from her, she was clearly having a bad trip on whatever drug they gave her she didn't want her to accidentally shoot or stab somebody. Rose Mary examined the knives. "So do we just wait for guards to come or should we free the prisoners while we wait?"

"Oh. Right." After seeing Tatiana's masterful display of skill and tact, Laura walked over to the girl rather slowly. She pulled on the collar of her coat, bearing her neck for Tatiana to see. There had been previous times where they experimented with who's blood she should be given, but Laura was always the best choice. "Feed on me." She said in a rather deadpan tone. "My healing factor will keep me from harm, while you take as much blood as you want. It is a shame that you don't adopt my mutation after feeding."

Being a damphir, Tatiana already had numerous bonuses, but a dhampir with bone claws and an even better healing factor, not to mention her increased dexterity and heightened senses from Laura's blood would make her nearly unstoppable. If only that was a possiblity in any of the timelines, it would have made things so much easier on everyone. Cable's blood was a dangerous game, and Nobody wanted Wade's blood.

Once they were given authorization to let loose, Heidi uncharacteristically started storming straight forward, ditching her 'scared French girl' persona and actually looking angry. A guard approached her with a baton and swung it, though Heidi grabbed the man's arm, turned on her exoskeleton and punched him in the chest, knocking him back with such force that he had made a crater in the concrete wall he'd smashed against. Three guards all tried to apprehend her at once, and she avoided the swings of all three with total ease as she systematically started delivering blows to their heads and necks, aiming to knock out instead of kill.

They reached the office and confronted the president of this company, and the adults needed no help from the students to pacify him. In fact, so far, they could have done this whole thing themselves, which was worrying Heidi. Something very bad must be on the horizon.

Hearing the president speak a very similar philosophy to her own unnerved and angered the Scottish teen in equal measure and she leaned over his desk at him. "How is this helping anyone? You're locking mutants away, and running tests of them? Why do you even want to figure out the X-gene if it's so dangerous. You just want power and control to yourself. You don't care about society. You don't care about helping create a world where everybody's happy and safe. Because those young mutants back there? They'ere not happy. Or safe."

Heidi, in the back of her mind, was beginning to wonder if her inclusion on this mission wasn't because it would fail without her, but simply to put her face to face with this man. Maybe they need to change the opinions of her future self. Heidi did not imagine her plans for the future would go down well with the majority of mutantkind, but seeing this man didn't change them. It only made them stronger.

Chrys was in a state of shock going through the building. Seeing the kids being held like lab rats, watching what they did to Tatiana, and the aura that felt wrong... It wasn't made easier with how damaged the place felt. Every now and then he would feel a rip in space and see something for a split second, only to have it vanish and feel like he needs to leave, as if the area was about to collapse somehow. When the fighting started, he used his abilities to stop bullets by spreading out the grey field to freeze them in space. With ample time to practice, he put fields in the guns and stopped them from working.

As he made his way into the office, Chrys noted that here, his hair stood at end and he could swear that the room wasn't safe at all. His natural lock, the grey field surrounding him at all times, flared up wildly. He felt panic rise in him as he found his power gradually rise and fill the room with an intense pressure. He closed his eyes and tried to hold it back, but it wouldn't stop. Driving into his senses, Chrys found that the room had tiny fractures everywhere and his power had sealed them for a time.

Tatiana barely heard Laura until she mentioned the word blood. Tatiana jumped up. She smelled Laura's neck and hair and licked the throat. "Girl I might just fall in love." She bit into and began drinking. Tatiana made many noises, most you might hear in a bedroom or on a certain less savory movie sets. They were muffled with Tatiana's mouth firmly planted on the neck. She had never drank a person to death that she personally knew or liked, just random fools who made an enemy of her family. Even with her assertion that she would survive Tatiana drank just enough to put her into fighting shape and satiate her hunger. Tatiana gave Laura a quick kiss on the lips. "You must be from heaven because that is the best I have ever tasted. Even better than the mystery blood and Heidi."

Rose Mary watched in awkward fascination. She was amazed at how openly erotic Tatiana was with another girl. Then she thought about since she was a shape shifter maybe she was really a male pretending to be female or maybe she was technically neither gender. She found mutations like that to be very frustrating, you could never know the truth just what they appeared to be most of the time. "Now that you are back to normal." Rose Mary didn't think normal was really right word for it. She tossed Tatiana's weapons back.

Tatiana caught her weapons and put them back. She could hear movement she rushed forward at full speed. She felt invincible, logically she knew she wasn't. She stopped just before rounding the corner, she realized it was five guards, five male guards. She decided to play to their biggest weakness their little head. She changed her appearance to that of a super model who was barely wearing anything. "Boys what's the rush your? Your boss thought you needed a little r&r." Four of them responded like the stupid imbeciles all men are when it comes to a barely dressed goddess of a woman. The fifth must have been gay because he didn't respond like the others. He pointed his gun at her. "You wouldn't shoot an unarmed woman would you?" She turned to the guard on her left who was drooling like a dog. "You aren't going to let that neanderthal hurt me are you?" The guard shook his head no slinging drool on to her, she found him absolutely repulsive. The drooler then pointed his gun at his colleague. Tatiana took cover behind him getting as close as she could. The others three didn't like their colleague getting all her attention. "Boys settle there is ple" Her words were cut off by hail of gunfire. She dropped to the floor and crawled away. When the sound of gunfire stopped she turned to look they were all dead. "They said I couldn't kill or hurt them. Didn't say anything about them killing each other."

Rose Mary came around the corner. "Tatiana!" Tatiana stood up and changed into her jumpsuit. "What? I didn't kill them. They killed each other." Rose Mary rolled her eyes. "Dressing like a whore had nothing to do with them killing each other?" Tatiana became very stern. "First, I never dress like a whore. Second, whores couldn't afford the clothes I mimic. Besides they would have ended up dead anyway. Companies like this in countries like this don't keep failures they get rid of them and hide them."

Olinda had sent rocks flying at some guards running along with the group she smirks when a group came at her. She used a few boulders from her armor and shot them at the men's stomach. Nothing that wouldn't cause some broken ribs and hurt stomachs.

She gets into the office to what she assumed was the man in charge. She stood towards the exit waiting for the guards to come and stop them. What she found strange was that the adults were perfectly able to handle this whole situation. Yet here the kid's are helping them that makes her wonder what is going on she sighs turning to the door she made boulders from her suit. Any who did where quickly knocked out by a rock or a fist. She half listened to what the Scottish girl was saying to the president. She agreed with the girl full heartedly she had half the mind to go free those kids.

"Chrys, I need that temporal field, now." He didn't want to stress the boy, but they needed to get moving. Cable set a hand on Chrys' shoulder, having a feeling that he knew what was going through Chrys' mind and his eyes. This space was ripe with space time energy, being the ending point of this loop. It was a daunting task with a lot of stress, but Chrys had to do something. "Son, if it eases your nerves, the likelihood of any of your comrades dying is obscenely low. We've gone through this hundreds of times, which is why this room is so frightening to you. But you can do this. You are already so much more than anyone could have imagined, and your powers are more within your grasp than you know."

He needed to make Chrysbrelax a little. Most of it was true, but the necessity of killing this man in a safe environment was more important then anything else.

"We're here to help them, Heidi. Those captured here and all of mutant kind." Shawn stood next to the Scott, his accent fading slowly as he stressed an American accent. His words were a little slower, but that was fine to him. "I'm still not voting that we kill him. But..." he didn't want to finish that thought. A part of him was trying to accept that his death was necessary, But shawn insisted there was another way. "We can do this without death. There's always another way."

Chrys flinches as Cable touches him. He could feel the many timelines the man has touched, all the scars of multiple breaches through reality he took. Part of him wanted to recoil away from the touch. But one part pushed for the slight chance of doing something big. He latched onto the feeling and focused himself. The grey field around him bubbled and the pressure intensified. He knew what he needed to do, but he wasn't sure he was strong enough to pull it off.

'I have to remove time and anchor them into subspace...' Thinking quickly he put together a plan and acted on it. By now, it was as if unbearable weight was on everyone but Chrys, as his field took up every last bit of air around them and condensed it, pressurizing the area. Chrys holds out a hand and focuses on the box in his mind. 'Here goes...' He takes a dewp breath and releases it. "Anchor and Shift..."

The field pops, taking everyone but Chrys out of the area and into a dark unseeable void where pressurized pockets of air surrounds everyone. Moments later a man steps out. It's Chrys... But it looks like he's aged several years with his features sharpening and he's grown a short patchy beard. "Well now I know what the Cost is then..." His voice is noticeably deeper. "That and I think I gave myself an aneurysm. You guys have your chat and whatever... I'm gonna drift here for a bit..."

He let himself fall back. If one could do such a thing in an endless void. He had several revelations about himself now, and was beginning to understand what was going on with his powers. His Cost was his own life, something that while seemed bad, withlut using his powers and living healty, he'd practically be immortal, since time only affect him slowly. However he jumped to where he should be now, since he'd removed his own field to transport the others into his subspace domain along with more than enough air to keep them alive. The air part was tricky, as too much could cause them damage and too litlle would kill them. But by doing all of that caused time to catch up to him, an eighteen year old. He felt much better, albiet the blood currently leaking from him in copious amounts, but he'd done something amazing.... And he'd never forget this.

Bonny did not get involved in all of the punching and fighting. While the rest seemed rather skilled at fighting and dispatching enemies, Bonny… well, was not. When guards were visible down the hall, she intentionally hung back and let someone else engage in combat, trying not to look at all. It was kind of odd, being the only one without some form of combat skill, but in the end things worked out just fine.

She poked her head into the room last, slipping inside once everything was in the clear. Only one person was in the room, and they looked pretty important. Booker acted quickly to prevent any backup being called (with a rather cool looking mutation to boot), and it was hardly any time before the target was immobilized and caught. Nice, things were going pretty smooth already. She heard Emma speak before feeling the telepath wrap her arms around her, and Bonny gave a simple nod in understanding before everything went black.

The world spun back into focus in an unknown amount of time, and for a second Bonny thought that she had woken up again. It took the wall closing up on its own to show that she was, in fact, dreaming- to her, it simply felt like she was observing the room from where she was. She chalked up her ability to see the events around her to Emmas telepathy, and left it at that.

Although she couldn’t chime into the conversation at that point, she listened to the best of her ability. Up until Cable mentioned “When this man dies”. Bonny looked around the dreamscape she was in, trying to find Emma before just giving up and speaking to the air. Maybe she’d hear her. “Uh, did I hear that right? ‘When this man dies’? I thought we were on a ‘no murder spree’ here. Like, none.” The worst they’d done was just beat up a few people, right…? They weren’t- heck, she wasn’t going to have blood on her hands from involvement.

Emma was silent in the face of Bonny's questions. Emma could no longer see the outside world, being stuck in a black void where air was scarce and Chrys had now aged himself by several years due to the use of his mutation. The plan didn't change though. The President's life was at the mercy of Laura, Cable, and Wade. They made their promise to not kill anyone, but Emma had done her research on Laura. Nothing was going to stop her mission to shift the course of time. Cable's mind was heavily guarded due to his own powers as a telepath, and Wade didn't exactly have a mind to read.

"Bonny." Emma reached out to the girl in the dream world, her words laced with worry. While Emma could no longer physically see, she could shift some of her focus to latch onto other minds, seeing what they saw in this void. "We don't get to decide his fate, we only influence those that do." She regretted making the students face this kind of reality, but the possibility of someone dying was inescapable.

Shawn could see everything unfolding before his eyes. Being sucked into subspace, Chrys being aged up, and all of the little details in between. His eyes were on Laura and the President. She was ready to kill him, and Cable made no effort to try and keep her from her thoughts.

He knew what was going to happen. They all knew just what was going to happen. Nothing was more certain in the space with the three people who traveled back in time a hundred times over. They were here for a result, but Shawn stood by his words from back at the Mansion.

Laura extended her claws in front of the older man's face, her face dead of emotion. Her goal was finally about to be achieved. All of her time and effort to ensure the safety of one man along with a million others.

"No!" Shawn shouted accidentally into Heidi's ear. Heidi was important to him, but nothing mattered more right now than making sure no one died. He shoved Heidi aside to propel himself forward, and floated steadily to Laura. "You can't kill him!" He shouted again, trying his hardest to swim himself over to her.

Laura's anger flared. Her claws became fully extended as she barked back at the boy. "I am killing one man to save a million! This man will hunt down mutants after he keeps your children from having mutations!"

"If you kill him, you're going to make a martyr, and even more lives are going to suffer because of it!" He wasn't even sure if that was true, but he had a good idea that it would happen, and he was going to do everything to convince this man to stop his evil work.

Shawn, as much as Laura didn't want to admit it, had a point. It wasn't going to stop her, though. Her left hand held tight on the man's collar, bringing him close to her. They couldn't have it both ways. This man would never change, but in the event that people did discover that mutants were behind his assassination, every single anti-mutant being and organization on the planet would band together to commit mass genocide. Even if for a moment, her grip on the man's collar loosened.

But none of that mattered.

Wade, amidst the waiting for a decision to be made, had been thinking. There was no way he could save himself. That was impossible without making a paradox. However, there was someone that he could save. If Transigen stopped here, they couldn't reboot the weapon X program. Without that, Francis wouldn't have killed Wade Wilson and birthed Deadpool. Francis wouldn't be killed, putting Angel Dust on a warpath...

His steel sword had been unsheathed, and stuck between Laura's claws. Using what leverage he had, he moved her claws away from the old man's face and closer to her own. In her surprise, she dropped the president, and he was let loose to float slowly through their pocket in subspace.

Laura tried her damndest to get Wade off of her, but he latched on to her with unrelenting strength, making sure that her wild and rapid movements wouldn't make things weird.

"You kill him, and Purity first is gonna be on Logan's ass so fast that it'll make your head spin. You think you're doing good by relieving this man from life, but you'll be killing all of us faster if you do. Vanessa, Scott, Jean, even Charlie's gonna kick the bucket if people start a mutant hunt. Summers over there won't even be alive to make you breakfast since a mister someone won't have any DNA to make his clone of a mom." Wade whispered not so loudly into Laura's ear as she struggled to get free of him. After hearing him, she mad more to think about.

It took some time, but she stopped wrestling against Wade, having made her decision.

"Nathan." Laura said lowly. "How is your telepathy now that were outside space and time?"

Nathan shook his head. "It doesn't change anything. Emma is going to have to do it."

Cable shuffled over to Bonny and Emma, who were still occupied in Bonny's mind. He knew that Emma could still feel their presence, so he spoke out in his mind, drawing her back into her own body. She had been given silent instructions, and allowed Bonny to float into Cable's giant, chiseled, cyborg arms.

Her eyes were only open for a moment before she entered another mind.

While all of this was happening, Shawn was wide-eyed and breathless. He just nearly witnessed murder. With his mind a little clearer, yet still moving a mile a minute, his eyes darted the black void to look for Heidi. He looked at her for several moments, finding something within her to ground himself with. With a shake breath, and even shakier sigh, and a slow nod of the head, he knew that they had just saved not only this man's life, but also many, many others.

"Chrys." Emma spoke both physically and mentally. "Please bring us back to the physical world. There's no way for us to not fight our way out, but our X-pendibles are more than capable of non-lethal combat." It was more of a jab at the time travelers than anything else, but it was also her way of reassuring everyone that no one had to die today.

Chrys raised a thumb. "Give me a moment..." He pops out into proper timespace, gaining another year as he pulls everyone back. The shock of which, causes a ripple in space time to realize and his own power halts the process, causing a grey glow around Wade, Laura, Cable and the President. "Well, good news is that I absorbed a paradox. Bad news is I think I gained a few more years and broke a paradox..." And he had, he was even taller, around 6'2 and his body was even more defined. He picked up his boots, sighing. He looks directly at Cable and scowls.

"While you were off discussing what to do, I thought of something. Isn't my very existence a paradox if you look at it?" He blinks as he realizes the others having some pretty bad vertigo since they are out of the void of subspace.

Heidi looked back into Shawn's eyes, though her eyes were strange and alien to him. Though there was no hate or will to murder in them, the was no sorrow, or desperation. If that man had been killed in front of her, she wouldn't have been sad or distraught. She did agree that if his death was obviously caused by a mutant, he'd become a martyr, and the work he's doing here should never be glorified. It's wrong. This can't be the ideal held by those who fear mutants. Like it or not, many people fear mutants, and won't stop because of a few good apples. But even they can be part of a system where everybody is happy, free and safe.

Once Chrys removed them from the suspended reality, Heidi went straight over to the President's desk, ripped open the locked drawers and pulled out all the files, stuffing them into his briefcase. She then logged onto to his PC (his username and password were written down on a piece of paper in his drawer) and set it to wipe everything. They couldn't kill him, but what's happening here cannot be allowed to continue.

"Once we free the mutants," Heidi spoke aloud as she did this, "They will kill the guards. There's no way to make mutants look like saints here. Because we're not. We're both as good and as evil as the rest of society. Mr. President, I trust you to put in a bad word for us. It'll make it easier for you to be ignored and written off when I make your deeds public and get this whole country to despise you. Thank you for the proof."

Heidi was right. There was no way that those kids weren't going to murder all of the guards in the facility. There were probably some staff members waiting for something like this to get the kids out. Best case scenario, alkali-transigen is revealed to be a mutant farming lab, company is shut down indefinitely. Worst case scenario, people misinterpret mutant kids escaping a lab in Mexico as some mutant riot, flaring tensions between the two species.

Shawn could see the ultimatum in Heidi's eyes and words. At least she had a better plan of action for right now than he did.

He closes his eyes and took a deep breath. Killing was the last thing on his mind, and he needed the finesse of a surgeon to pull off this cool looking move.

His arm shot out straight forward, his fingers pointed to the president. A small bolt of electricity shot out from his fingertips and his the older gentleman in the neck. His eyes closed almost immediately, his body succumbing to gravity.

Shawn waited a moment before walking over to him and kneeling down over him. "I just knocked him out." He felt the man for a pulse, which he still indeed had. It would be so easy with his mutation to kill him. Fry his brain with only a finger. Shawn still refused. The guards were out of his control, but this man needed to suffer for his crimes against mutant kind in the land of the living.

He stood back up, and the alarms started to blare. The plan was in motion again. Even from this chamber of an office they could hear screams and yells of anger and even glee. Thudding sounds and clanging sounded rung out through the halls.

"I guess that's our que." shawn smiled. The morally difficult part of the mission was over. Now they just need to break out everyone who was still locked up, and get out.

Laura was quiet. At least she could kill some guards. It wouldn't be the same, but it was still something. The new her would live a life entirely unique to her, and Logan would live a long life. Charles... there was no telling. She just hoped that they meddled with time enough to spare some of the xmen from a sudden death.

He was about to bolt out of the room before realizing that the wall of concrete was still there. "Uh. Once the door opens, we can start knocking heads, right?"

Cable nodded sternly. "Olinda, if you'd please make a door for us, consider this next part your entrance exam to get into the Xavier Academy."

Olinda nodded to the man having no clue about how to feel about what had just transpired. She sighs softly relaxing when she felt the hair on her body relax not even realizing they were standing. Olinda rolls her shoulders and looks at the door she had created when the alarm sounded. No sooner did the screams of multiple emotions and Heidi wasn't it? She was right those mutants are mad. Of course they are! They were treated like monsters and lab rats!

Like your mom and almost like YOU

Well that got deep quick. Olinda sighed and made her way to the exit not wanting to think of that when a Boy went to run out and almost ran into her door. She wanted to make a smart remark but paused when the big guy spoke to her. She smirks and nods,"This seems to be the easiest entry exam known to man,Guerrero." She says punching into the door gathering the concrete to reinforce her suit the different cracked part flying to the weaker more vulnerable parts. Onlinda hearing the cracks pushed the door down it crashing to with a big bang. Stepping out she made her way to the hallway she looks at Cable,"What the next part Guerrero?"
