Welcome to the year of 1999. sixteen years ago, earth witnessed the power of a mutant of unknown origin. To the world, he was known as Apocolypse. With his four compatriots. One of the died that day, one decided to join the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, and the other two have since vanished.
Since then, the Mutants of the Xavier School, as well as others around the world, have taken it to helping humanity rebuild, taking the first, most dangerous step into creating peace between normal humans and the mutants. Humanity, though still fearful of the danger of these Mutants, has accepted their help in rebuilding the world. Relations are not easy, but the work done by those willing have kept things peaceful.
If you are the intended recipient of this letter, please be aware that you have been invited to stay at the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, to harness and hone your mutant abilities in a safe location while your schooling is continued to the fullest level. The only cost of Tuition is your willingness to learn and help those in need. Despite these bright times, your abilities, both mental and physical, will be challenged at every corner, and the time may come for you to assist in keeping the peace that we are trying so very hard to maintain.
Included in this envelope is the address to the school, as well as an application form for you to send in so we can be aware ahead of time for your arrival. Having enough space for everyone is rather important.
The staff here at the Charles Xavier school are ready to see your application and meet you!
As with any facility, the Xavier School has ground rules that must be followed at all times. Failure to comply will result in two warnings before a temporary barring is issued. If the issues persist, you will be asked to leave the premise.
-The Professor and the teachers are always available to answer any questions you might have, so feel free to ask as they come to you!
-Teacher (co-GM) positions are also available, and please send in a request to the professor before submitting your teacher application form.
-Please, be respectful to the other students, as well as your teachers.
-If arguments break out, please keep them under control. If not, then move them to Private Messages.
-Never feel like your conversation or presence is unwelcome! Conversing with the others is important to maintaining order and efficiency.
-If you are missing for a notable, you will be checked in on, but if you do not respond, you will be rendered unconscious (or presumed so) and we will be continuing without you.
-Mcavoy or Stewart? These timelines are so confusing.
-Please notify the professor if you will be gone for en extended period of time, so we will be able to continue in your temporary absence.
-At the moment, you may only send in two applications to use at a time. More than that will require talking with a staff member.
-At minimum, please ensure that your posts exceed five to seven sentences. One decent paragraph is all that is asked of you.
-there will be a two-post buffer between your posts. If you are in a conversation, you will speak, the other person will speak, someone else will do something, then you are allowed to speak again, unless given permission by the professor.
-And lastly, have a good time while you're here!
