As long as you can turn us in the right direction, I'm sure the growing group can build on the world enough to fill the gaps when you're not around. I've been hinting to it a lot, but with what you just said, I have to come out and directly ask if you have plans about how the rp would be starting.

If its freeform, it would be good to state this. In the stead of a GM or CoGM, an idea of at least a starting point and its surrounding area would be considerably helpful. I understand that this is just an IntCh, but '<100%' could mean "absent for weeks" (And I understand school work and wouldn't blame you for needing time to further your future). Since you spent almost a year designing this world, I think it would be fair if the players at least knew where they were, should you even open an OOC...though that could just as easily be covered in the OOC.

Sorry, but a GM coming out and saying they probably won't be around is a good way to put people on edge...idk, at least for me.
There aren't many 'thought out' hard-fantasy threads in circulation, and I want this one to flourish.

Agree with @Hawlin. The character I had in mind wouldn't help anyone out of the good of his heart, so I'd like to know the starting point of the plot before I start drafting him out!

And I had the idea to mke them meet in a bar, that could go many ways. (So a pirate, a Centaur, and some mages walk into a bar) but I'm more than happy to hear any suggestions!

Furthermore, I can't imagine I'd be gone for days at a time, I'm not exactly in college yet, but the power could go out, I could wind up in a hospital, you never know what could run up and brandish it's middle finger, y'know?

This is why I reserved a post, if there's a development or an update to the rp , I'll direct your attention there :)

That might work on Grayfang but not the lost twins, or Magnus, or god forbid the Pale one, some of these bosses will keep you on your toes
