โณ Name: Simone Scarrow
โณ Nicknames: N/A
โณ Gender: Female
โณ Age: Twenty
โณ Occupation: Camper/College Student
โณ Birthplace: Liverpool, England
โณ Camp cabin: 19
โณ Appearance: Despite being a little shorter than average and without obvious muscles, Simone gives off a tangible aura of "fuck off". Maybe it's the hair, without exception crafted into some elaborate construction and dyed a resplendent shade of red or orange and often paired with a punkish leather jacket. Or the voice, a northern that never seems far from bitter sarcasm and can be raised to drown out even the most irate cyclops. Perhaps the standoffish stance, always ready to fight to the bitter end at any provocation, from someone cutting the queue at lunch to insults to discrimination to open warfare.
As far as fashion goes, Simone likes any and all things punk, probably a result of having listened to her father's favourite bands since an early age. Leather jackets, bomber jackets, jeans with rollups, safety pins, big boots with thick laces, dungarees and whatever looked good at the local charity shop, topped off with an eccentric hairstyle, some ridiculous sunglasses, a raised eyebrow and a rebellious streak a mile wide. While training at the camp, she switches to more practical clothes, normally light armour and some trainers, but always finds a way to stand out. Sometimes it's a more impressive plume than any helmet or a garishly decorated team flag but she's never hard to spot.

โณ Personality: Simone is one half troublemaker and one half textbook introvert. She likes to disrupt things that are happening in easy, planned, safe ways and is ever the half-brick in front of the bicycle of progress. There's something about all those happy youths marching in lockstep to the plans of an old centaur and their far off immortal parents that just rubs her the wrong way. Too many are so thrilled by their powers that they don't consider the callousness of their godly parents abandoning them or the danger these new abilities put them in. Simone isn't totally against the Camp or Chiron or even the gods, just the way they expect and even demand their children come to this camp and act a certain way, reinforced by the monsters beyond the camp's borders.
But then she also finds her own company more fulfilling than that of any of her siblings or fellow campers, preferring a book and music playing at skull thumping volume. When she takes part in camp events, it's draining dealing with the younger kids and often depressing talking to the older ones. And then of course there's the weight of looking at their lucks, each and every one of them, and knowing whether it'll be good or bad for the next little while. She's kept that little ability to herself because who wants every damn camper to turn up and ask what their chances are on a date or whatever. Nope, better to keep it on the downlow and just tweak things for the occasional friend.
โณ Likes: Concerts, drinks, people who know how and when to shut up.
โณ Dislikes: Studying, mornings, people who throw their weight around.
โณ Hobbies: Making and modifying clothes, skimming stones, reaction based games.
โณ Strengths: Smart, determined and experienced at working alone.
โณ Weaknesses: Headstrong, stubborn and prone to speaking her mind at the worst times.
โณ Biography: Raised by Adam Scarrow, a one time Punk Rocker and current Philosophy teacher, in the city of Liverpool, Simone had no idea she was special for most of her life. Her father was a good parent but also a hard worker and so their time spent together was often rushed or abruptly cut off. Some Simone learned to enjoy solitude, music and reading, all things that could be enjoyed without her dad present. She was raised on his old favourites, everything from Buzzcoks to The Clash, though he'd hidden his Sex Pistols records like a dirty secret.
Discovering her divine heritage was a bit of a wrench for both of them when, at Simone's 13th birthday, both a protector and a monster arrived to gatecrash. The only casualty of the event was her birthday cake, flattened by the angrily thrashing Cerastes, her father's glasses and her notion that she was no one special. As her new camp appointed protector explained things and her father chipped in, it was hard for Simone not to resent this stranger who had brought a horned serpent to their door and now claimed to know more about the Scarrow family than she did and had the impudence to insist that she had to accompany him to America, of all places.
It was with reluctance and her father's assurances that he'd be fine on his own that she was led away to Camp Halfblood where she has spent her summers ever since. Despite herself, she enjoys the combat training, ancient history and more active games but she's never really seen eye to eye with the head of the camp or her fellow campers. Most of all though, she doesn't like or understand the mother that never made contact and never tried to improve her lot in life before coming to the camp. The Scarrow family's luck was no better or worse than average, a great injustice for the former lover and current daughter of the Goddess of Love.
At leas, that was how Simone saw it.
Things soured still further when her father was in a road accident while she stayed at Camp. To hear the witnesses tell it, a truck had drifted out of control and ploughed into a lane of traffic. There was nothing any of the people in the other cars could've done just, as they all agreed, bad luck. Adam Scarrow survived the wreck with the only lasting injury being a damaged knee that caused him to limp everywhere but Simone wouldn't let it go. Whether it was the direction action of Tyche that caused the incident or not, her daughter blamed her and refused all contact.
That was last summer. This year, Simone has returned with her vow to ignore her mother still in place but her powers more finely honed and attuned to her desires and intentions than ever. This year is, as far as she's concerned

โณ Tychokinesis: As a child of the Goddess of Luck, Simone has the ability to alter the luck of others, either making it better or worse. It doesn't change their decisions or the decisions of those around them, only events determined by non-sentient factors. The weather, for example, or the roll of a dice, though factors that are random can affect the decisions of others, like rain starting which causes the man running the store you needed to buy medicine from to shut earlier than he normally would.
โณ Fate-Sense: Whenever Simone sees someone, she can sense how their luck is, otherwise known as their fate. Without meddling by a God or Demi-God, luck is affected by any number of small factors; time of year, personal health, mental health, what star is in ascendancy or the phase of the moon.
โณ Blessing: By holding onto any object and concentrating, Simone can imbue it with a aura of good or bad luck. Items will affect anyone who has them in their presence for long stretches of time, though the aura will eventually wear off.
โณ Weapon: Favouring the Bow and the Machaรญri (Throwing Knife), Simone prefers to keep her enemies at range where her luck stacks the odds in her favour but always keeps one knife back for close range.
