You should totally watch the third season with your friend! I bet season 3 will be just as good, if not better than the previous ones. One of my favorite scenes is when Hunk was on a mini rant to himself after no one else believed him about those space pirates. I still laugh about that.

I went and binge watched 10 episodes of Trollhunters in 2 nights with my sister. I am about to watch 5 more. I think it's safe to say that we like this show. A lot. Each episode is interesting, great characters, story's good, and it's really funny, too. I couldn't ask for more than that. (I got excited when I recognized the scene from your avatar).

My gosh, same about Pidge! Rewatched the series while crafting last week. HA! That was a great scene. They called them something else besides pirates, I believe. Can’t remember what, though. Pirates were mentioned in the episode where they went to what ended up being a mall. I love Hunk’s obsession with food, too. Also, as a The Last Airbender similarity I noticed, I forgot about the underwater episode totally reminiscent of the one when Team Avatar is in Ba Sing Se with Joo Dee and Lake Laogai.

Got the eager agreement from my friend to picking a weekend, eating more junk food than we should, and watching more TV than is probably healthy!

Ahh, what did they call themselves? I wanna say traders or something, but I may be confusing them with the "high risk traders" (aka, pirates) on Avatar. Wow, I didn't even realize the similarities of those episodes! I want to check that out now! I had only thought the art style was similar (and Lance's expressions in particular always remind me of Sokka) but now I need to hunt for plot similarities, too.

Some quick information for you with Miles: The shadowmire were not known to Wonderland—or any of the worlds, really—until the Red Sorceress came along, so depending on how he heard of the Red Sorceress, there's a chance he won't know what they are. I'm having a moment and can't remember if you said whether or not he was in Wonderland when she started to rise to power. As a second bit of info so Elayra’s warning makes sense... White (and Black) Knights were born of magic and magic alone with the main purpose of being defenders, which was common knowledge. Created in Heart Palace, they were greatly respected in Wonderland, but were ruthless fighters against wrongdoers, and served the White Queen as palace guards, as well as took the place of police officers in the royal city. The only sure way of killing a Knight was to use magic or some kind of enchanted weapon. I can’t remember if I’ve given any info on the Knights, so if I have and any of that contradicts what I’ve already said, let me know. I tend to tweak things as I go. I’ll get around to that “Other Info” section sooner or later...

Thanks for the info! Helpful for my reply. If I remember correctly, I had Miles express his hatred for the Sorceress but didn't really cover how long he'd been in Wonderland as she rose to power. I'm thinking that he was there very briefly, but since he's cowardly (or smart, depending on how you look at it ) he fled via the nearest portal and has been stuck on earth ever since.
As a result, he hasn't seen a shadowmire, but he has a general idea of what's going on and what to expect. He's gotten his share of stories from fellow Jumpers over the years.
I love that about the knights, that makes them all the more intriguing to me. I don't think you've ever covered their background, so that's super interesting to learn! Miles hates any type of officer or guard, so Elayra's threat will keep him in line, I'm sure. Heh.

One quick question that came up as I'm working on my response: at this point in time, is the portal open enough for Ghent to get through? I figured it would be since Elayra directed him towards it, but I wanted to make certain. I don't think he's very willing to comply, but Miles may change that. *laughs*

As far as Voltron goes, I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet! I really need to. I've heard great things about it, aside from the fact that they split it into two parts. Boo.

Ah, thank you kindly! I've been adding things here and there over the past few months. He's taken me a lot longer than I expected to figure out, but the more I write for him, the easier it is to fill in his profile. I'll be working on his history and add some brief info on my side characters as well. When I add the side characters, should I put those in a separate post?

Good question! When it comes to remaining in Wonderland, I think that Ghent's still really torn because it's so early on. His loyalties are split, he's afraid, and doesn't really know what to think about his new comrades quite yet. xD But I think the more he learns and sees in Wonderland, and after spending more time with Elayra and Drust, he'll truly want to stay and help them. Not because he has to, but because he wants to. Plus, he's always wanted to find out the truth behind his birth parents, and being there is the only way he'll ever know about his past.

Oh gosh. I won't even go into the details of the trip, I'll just say that it was an experience, and I may never leave my room again.
I never got the chance to sleep (I'm not even over exaggerating when I say my grandma talked the entire time...did I mention Mrs. Saxon is partially inspired by her?) but I did write two replies and drew a picture of Ghent I'm actually satisfied with. After I finish drawing Elayra, I'll post the finished piece here. I know I've been promising some fan art for months now, and I have been working on some...but I wasn't happy with any of them. Behind every drawing I complete, there's at least 10 failures before it.

Hoping my excitement about this isn't putting any pressure on you, especially since you're the brains behind all of this! I promise, even if we didn't have this wonderful plot to work with, just interacting with and reading about your characters is a thrill for me. They're so well written and believable, I can't help but obsess.

Getting carried away is a good thing, because Drust's POV was brilliant! I cannot get over the perfection of that post...I had a little fangirl attack while reading it. Ever since its been mentioned, I'd been wondering what the portal would be like. It was awesome! The voices were a nice touch too...and the queen. *shivers* Plus, all of this on a brand new page? Doesn't get better than that. :D

Heh), but that’s just me being me with someone else partaking in the story. You likep it so far, so I can only hope that you will continue to like the rest of what’s thought out! You should be in my head when I actually submit a story to a zine. It isn't pretty. Anyway, I’m glad you’re enjoying the characters so much. I still love yours, even the ones who have only gotten to star in a couple posts so far, and everything you add to this. The police presence, the plan for the distraction, and then, more than once, you’ve added details that bring no small amount of life. For example from your last post, the falling leaf and Ghent’s floating hood. I know it’s just something small in that case, but it’s little things like that that add that life and believability to a scene. Then, your guys in general bring so much to the table. Including inspiration, that wonderful element of uncertainty, and needing to have backup plans in some cases, just in case!

^.^ I went back to the post where portal travel first happened to make sure I got that aspect mostly the same. It got to be a bit different traveling to Wonderland. With a lot of those first posts, I didn’t (or tried not to) use as much detail as I could have since I figured it would end up getting reiterated anyway once Ghent got pulled in. Plus it leaves wiggle room.
