Ah, no worries. Well since they are surrounding and moving in, that would be the central point to congregate at after they clear the extremities. Though hold on for a bit, KoL is almost done with a post to change things up in the outpost.

Just telling you all already, before anyone engages that thing. Your Vessel Wielding characters can hurt it (even if your character's Vessel isn't a weapon), but the monster regenerates really, really fast.

It's a "boss" enemy, so it's likely going to be a tough task to take it down...

It's a "boss" enemy, so it's likely going to be a tough task to take it down...

That would work, just don't expect them to hold it for long, just like with how any attack won't hurt it that badly in the long run, at least until certain... conditions are cleared.

Hmm. So we have a poisoner, a guerilla glass cannon who knows traps and ambushes, Natus though I don't remember his special gimmick, and Szeren immediately as well as anyone who was captured.

Damn, where's an Arcanist or a Summoner when you need one? I want some damn DoTs applied on this boss, and don't skimp on the debuffs either!

Whether it kills it or not, it will slow down the regeneration of said boss at least. At least that would be the hope anyway. Na, the way I see it we're just gonna have to set it up and just brutally strike it in extremely quick and powerful attacks.

The only issue I see is that all our tanks are back at base camp, unless one of the prisoners can handle holding its attention. Otherwise, best to have at it like the glass cannons we are.

Agreed. Another issue specifically if we use traps to set it up is it will take time to set them up no matter how good someone is. Time and material, though material I would be less worried about since it'd be found around the ruins where the troops were. Time is the most worry.

That being said Regina would gladly volunteer to hold it's attention, not that that's the best decision considering her intimate knowledge of traps and focus on guerrilla warfare.

Eh, falling back, or holding the position until the frontline warriors/shocktroopers of the team arrive is a decent strategy as well. Just telling you that relying on the actual defenders is a good alternative in "boss" encounters.

Considering it's a big creature, we're in an unfamiliar space with next to knowledge of what's about us, I don't think the average trap is going to work. And if it's the size of 3 Tzi, then we could drop a house on it and only provide a momentary distraction.
