Description:
Clocking in at an even 6’2”, calling Percival “noticeable” would be a severe understatement. With vibrant blue eyes, a bird’s nest of orange hair, and a grin that could aptly be described as “shit eating”, the young man gives off the impression that he’s planning some sort of mischief even when his mind is far from it. He has a penchant for clothing that’s a bit harder on the eyes, with his favorite outfit consisting of deep blue pants, leather boots, and a canary yellow jacket that he often wears like a cape. After starting the PHOBIA treatments, Percival has adopted a few unsettling aspects to his appearance. A certain hungry look in his eyes, for one. Unnaturally pale skin.

The razor sharp fangs that now line his mouth might also have something to do with the effect, as well.

Phobi-ablility:
Coulrophobia, the Fear of Clowns

- Incredibly flexible, to the point of putting most professional acrobats to shame. This goes beyond just plain contortionist skills, however, as he can easily fold himself into spaces where no ordinary human could be expected to fit- these include vents, cups, suitcases, and, of course, tiny cars. Percival also displays a knack for balancing on things.

- Access to a personal hammerspace via his sleeves, pockets, boots, or most anywhere out of sight that he can stick his hand in. This hammerspace grants him, among other things, a comically oversized mallet, pie, a unicycle, and balloons. It's also possible for him to store objects in this space, although, if asked, Percival will admit that he has no idea where the things go, or where they come from in the first place.

- Can weaponize magic tricks.

- Has a mouth filled with sharp, razorlike teeth, and an increased jaw strength. While this allows him to bite and tear into things quite easily, it also leads to Percival biting his own mouth often.

Personality:
Percival is, put simply, quite the personality. For all of his annoyance with the powerset he developed, the young man certainly acts the part of a clown, joking constantly and keeping up an enthusiastic, over-the-top air almost constantly. His fondness for theatrics and dramatic flair can be...quite grating to some, but in the case that one has a thick enough skin to put up with his joking, Percy can be surprisingly friendly.
Beneath his cheery persona, however, Percival is somewhat bitter about his circumstances, and can quickly sober up when the need comes for it.

Backstory:
Percival and Indigo were the result of a pregnancy between two people who were, quite frankly, unprepared to have children. They were given up for adoption soon after birth, and, two years later, were taken in by a gentle bakery owner by the name of Soren Pelacour. Soren, having always wanted children, had been unable to have his own, and was delighted to take in the two in, although the two quickly wound up becoming a handful with their combined rambunctiousness. That didn’t stop Soren from taking yet another child in once the two had turned twelve, and that certainly didn’t stop the family from becoming incredibly close-knit through the years.

By the time Percy had graduated high school, he had set his eyes on becoming a famous actor one day. While a somewhat difficult choice in career to follow, he was nevertheless supported, and was accepted into a small arts oriented university close to home. Before he could make much progress in his studies, however, the family began to fall on hard times. It became more and more difficult for a small bakery to compete with its larger rivals, and the Pelacours were only just able to scrape by with what loyal customers it could find. Eventually, in desperation to support his family, Percival dropped out of college and signed up for the PHOBIA program. While dangerous, it certainly paid well, and getting some neat superpowers out of the deal just seemed like icing on the cake.

Of course, it also hadn’t been the powerset of a clown that Percival had expected to get.

Description:
Clocking in at roughly 4 foot 9 inches in boots, and without much muscle mass to speak of, Dawn isn’t exactly the most imposing figure around. Her face is soft and open, with ash-grey eyes and light skin. Her hair is black and thick, and Dawn has grown it to her hips- although, as a result, she has developed a habit of styling it in a side plait to keep it out of the way most of the time.
Dawn usually tries to “dress to impress”, donning skirts, tights, cardigans and flats to work and throughout everyday life. Winter sees her swapping to a modest sweater and slacks, and warm seasons have her lose the cardigan entirely. In more casual settings, she’ll don a simple pair of jeans and a shirt, but there’s one constant throughout many of her wardrobe changes- a hat. Regardless of setting, she’ll often be found wearing a hat of some kind, although her apparent favorite is a black sunhat.

Phobi-ablility:
Oneirophobia, the Fear of Dreaming

- Can create vivid illusions and hallucinations.

- Has the power to enter the dreams of other people, and alter them if desired. It's also possible for her to drag other sleepers into her own dreamworld, although the effect only lasts for as long as both parties are asleep.

- Can manifest tulpas, or thoughtforms, in the real world to serve as her familiars. While these creatures are bound to Dawn, and are naturally protective of their host, they have a minor level of sentience and often act independently of Dawn's orders. These tulpas tend to vary, but, due to being drawn from her dreams and nightmares, are often recurring.

Personality:
By nature, Dawn is a gentle soul, soft spoken and polite towards strangers and friends alike. She tends to be quite protective and maternal towards friends of hers, and makes an effort to grant a level of respect to most. However, while friendly and slower to anger than some, she is not necessarily a yes-woman- oftentimes, when made annoyed by someone or a situation, her irritation will manifest itself as a dry sort of humor and a somewhat snarky commentary. This humor tends to be present regardless, however. When genuinely angered, Dawn grows calm to the point of frigidity, becoming vengeful and keeping her grudges close at hand.

While Dawn attempts to stay composed and professional for the most part, she can quickly become flustered if the right buttons are pressed.

Backstory:
Born the second child of an teacher father and a lawyer mother, Dawn’s early life was generally quite pleasant. The family resided in the suburbs, and, while not rich, had enough money to live comfortably. By all accounts, she was a happy child, with little to worry about.

Except for the dreams.

Dawn was plagued by nightmares and sleep paralysis, and there was hardly a night where her rest went undisturbed. It got to the point where she refused to sleep for as long as possible, sobbing when she was sent to bed, and clawing and hitting herself to keep from falling asleep. The condition only worsened after a favored uncle died, a soldier taken by the line of work. She was eventually put into therapy, and, while it helped to alleviate the worst of it, the dreams never truly stopped.

Upon becoming an adult, Dawn made the decision to go into law enforcement, hoping to protect innocent people in the same way as her departed uncle. She had just obtained her Bachelor’s degree when she heard word of the PHOBIA project. While initially hesitant, she eventually signed up for the job, deciding that using her nightmares to achieve her dream of doing good in the world was an opportunity to at least look into.

Name: Unknown, simply called "Thirteen" or "Triska" by some
Age: 19
Description: A small boy at maybe 5'4", Thirteen is someone easily lost in a crowd. He has fairly pale skin with a sweet heart shaped face adorning a small nose and girlish lips. In fact, Thirteen is often mistaken for a girl at first introductions, which he highly distastes. He appears to be Eurasian, given away by his large slanted cat like black eyes, thin eyebrows, and short yet slightly curly black hair. Thirteen is thin, which he is embarrassed about, considering how slight his body structure is. He often wears black jeans and a long black coat with a white scarf— if anyone tries to take it, he'll go berserk. He the Roman numeral for thirteen tattooed under his left eye.
Phobi-Ability: Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of the number 13
Personality: Thirteen is commonly seen as strange. He keeps away from others and isn't very good with social interaction. In fact, Thirteen doesn't talk very much at all, and getting him to is a pretty big success. If you try to touch him, he'll flinch away with scared eyes and if you try to befriend him he'll blow you off. People say he's an antisocial jerk, but really he's just frightened.
He's scared that he is a bad luck charm, and that everyone who got close to him will only get hurt. Thirteen distances himself so as not to get attached to anyone anymore, so neither party experiences pain. He thinks he is better off alone, so his curse of bad luck doesn't affect people around him he cares about.
Thirteen is actually pretty superstitious, and if you try to do something like shatter a mirror or open an umbrella inside he'll hit you upside the head so fast you wouldn't see it coming. Sadly, though, he does happen to attract a lot of bad luck and has since he was younger— black cats always followed him, he'd accidentally walk under ladders and the worst was the number 13... but I'll save that for the background.
However, Thirteen does have a soft side. He likes cute things, though he doesn't admit it, and his room actually has many adorable stuffed toys that's he's embarrassed of. If he finds something cute, Thirteen has trouble brushing it aside and will want it desperately. He's also quite bashful if you hit the right nerve, and truly... he's always wanted to be hugged, but he's just afraid of the consequences to the other party.
Relations: He doesn't know his real family. His "brother" and his "grandma" both died, and somehow he blamed himself for their deaths.
Backstory: As early as he could remember, Thirteen was a nameless street rat who stole food to get by. He was apathetic of others, as seemingly emotionless as he is now, and only cared for himself and surviving.
When he was around nine, he stumbled upon another street rat like himself, one caught for stealing bologna and bread from a local shop. Thirteen would usually have just passed by, but there was something about the kid... he couldn't leave him.
Thirteen rushed in, snatching the boy up and racing off, far too fast on his feet for the group to catch. The boy thanked him, and shared the food with Thirteen as a gift for saving him. For a few years, they were brothers, and a menace to the small shopkeepers of the area.
One day while they were running away from a group of angry shopkeepers, they made a wrong turn into a construction site. Thirteen was running ahead, and only heard a loud clutter that sounded as if a bomb had gone off. It seemed time had slowed as he looked over his shoulder, and saw his brother crushed under a huge slab of wood, with a printed number "13" on the side.
Thirteen didn't cry, and it tore him up inside that he couldn't even mourn. A few months later, he was sitting in an alleyway passing time when the backslid opened. Thirteen didn't make a move to run, quietly raising his eyes to the woman who peeked out.
The woman took him in, he referring to her as "grandma" while he helped around the restaurant. Thirteen knew that the restaurant was just a cover, and that this store was something else entirely, but he didn't question what that was. Someone kind enough to take him in and care for him, how could he not trust her?
Then, one day a group of men came in. They seemed suspicious but Thirteen didn't mention it. Before he knew it, a bullet was fired right through grandma's head. Later, Thirteen found out she was a sort of mafia boss, but at the time he was so confused and horrified. And what date did he see on the calendar but the 13th? Thirteen wrapped the scarf she had made for him around his neck, the one so lovingly sewed because he was always cold, and left in silence. Again, he couldn't bring himself to cry.
The traumatized boy was said to have walked up to the building of research, holding out a small flyer he had found advertising the PHOBIA project. Quietly, he asked "I... I want to be useful. Please make me strong." Thirteen didn't want to lose anyone again because he wasn't strong enough to protect them. He wanted to be strong.

Description:
5'6", black hair, medium build. When he transforms, however, his muscles grow and he grows fangs and claws.

Can transform into a monstrous form, in which he has:
-Strength: Can tear steel doors off of bank vaults and throw cars.
-Durability: Can keep going even if he gets hit by a car going the speed limit, and while he isn't bullet proof, he can keep going even if shot several times.
-Endurance: Can sprint for hours.
-Speed: Can run up to 60 KPH
-Senses: Can hear a heavy heartbeat from 100 meters away. Can see an individual ant from just as far away. Can smell a person's BO from a kilometer
-Animal traits: When he transforms, he grows fangs and claws.
-His eyes glow yellow, and let him see in low light conditions, like a cat or deer.
-Regeneration: He can heal from bullet wounds in hours in any form.

Personality:
Normally he's nice to those around him, and willing to help them out. He just doesn't want to get too close to others, because he'll inevitably let them down.
When he transforms he is angry, and has to fight to keep himself from going on a brutal mass-murdering spree. He does, however, have all of his memories from his normal form, so he will still realize who people are, how he feels about them, and realize that he shouldn't hurt them.

Relations:
None, as his parents wouldn't want him back, though he once had a serious Girlfriend, Sophia Lee.

Backstory:
He wasn't the best son. Every time he tried to do something to please his parents, it wasn't enough, and every time he messed up, it was doubly his fault.
Eventually he left home for college. His fourth year he met Sophia, and they fell for each other. Both of them were into computers, and they even started writing a game together. When she started pushing for him to propose, however, he couldn't do it. He knew he would let her down, so he ran.
He was found by the P.H.O.B.I.A. program and went through whatever they had to do to him, hoping that it would help him get over his issues and knowing that she wouldn't find him there.

Claustrophobia: Fear of confined spaces
Can Project circular barriers.
-Personal field: Surrounds herself in a bubble to protect herself and keep things out. Can change the size to include others, but the air is trapped as well, so it may be hard to breathe.
-Trap field: Keeps a target in. Can also change its size.
-Projectiles: spherical balls of various sizes that she can control the movement of. May be exploded by expanding them faster than she can control. Have to be created in her palms, and can move whatever is inside it.

Personality:
Once a cheerful, almost bubbly person he always wanted to discover things, she is now unable to move past her emotional turmoil and spends her time brooding and sometimes crying.

None, though she once had a serious Boyfriend, Mike Henderson

Backstory:
She grew up an only child of well off parents, always getting what she wanted, except for their love. She tried to do things to make them proud of her, but work or their hobbies took precedent.
In high school she was the Valedictorian, but that didn't impress them, so she learned computer coding on her own and applied for an internship with a prominent business software company. One day, on her way to the floor she worked on, the elevator stopped working and she was stuck in the elevator with ten other people for two hours. While her outgoing personality meant that the shear number of people wasn't a problem, the fact that they barely had any room to move got to her. After that point she stopped using elevators. In fact, any small enclosed space was avoided.
Because her parents had money they were able to pay for her to go to business school and live in a roomy apartment, but she was certain that it was just for their public image.
When she was a junior she met Mike, but when things got serious, she told him she wanted to get married and he disappeared. Certain that she was the reason he left, the reason no one loved her, she shut herself off and stopped going to class. When her failing grades caused her parents to pull her out, she knew she couldn't go home, so she signed up for some experimental program where she could find other people who might actually want to deal with her.
She is now ready to meet the others, doctor's orders, having cut herself off from them during her initial training and stay at the facility.
