Clifford Norman

Cliff lightly shoved the collar back into his pocket and looked leo over as his boyfriend looked away. With the nod after his question he felt himself die a little inside. His boyfriend would be leaving town. How was he supposed to handle himself while Leo was gone. What if he got hurt what would he do in response to that. He would be too far away from cliff if he wanted to save him. Anxiety now filled features.

Then, Cliff calmed himself. Leo would be safe from danger that far away from the town. He managed a nod. "I want to, but I can't" He looked dejected. "Ill miss you." He inhaled then pulled leo in for a hug, he found his face going into the crook of leo's neck and staying there for a few moments before pulling back. "Don't forget about me."

Cliff managed a weak smile. Leo shouldn't see him break down. He never wanted him to see him like that. He then pulled him close once more before kissing him. After a few moments he pulled away and ran. His feet carrying him quite a distance. He ran all the way home and straight through the door where he then ran into his room and face planted into his pillow. Then he broke down, there was no sound from him, just stillness.

@FantasyChic@Infamous Auror As Abe and Kosara drove off to wherever it was that they were going the crime scene itself was pretty much left unattended to, the scene was pretty much all clean just the scene markers were left and the outline of where Mayor Ryder was at. Declan would get the scent of the werewolf, and he would also notice the claw marks as well the classic signs of a werewolf attack.

However if one of them looked up they would have seen a CCTV camera that the mayor had installed about a month ago just hanging in the corner of the ceiling, it would have probably caught the whole scene. However whatever the camera took it was most likely now in police custody now.

@BlackPanther Leo frowned ever so slightly looking sad towards Cliff, as much as he wanted to stay there with him and hangout with his boyfriend. He returned the hug and wiped away a few tears he really didn't want to part away from Cliff for the next couple of days letting out a soft sigh. "It's only going to be for a few days, but i'll be back really soon." Leo said as he returned the kiss and held him there for awhile. "I'll text you every day I promise." Leo said giving him a soft smile.

Eventually Cliff broke away and he frowned ever so slightly wiping away a few tears as he watched Cliff run off towards the way that he had came. Leo sighed and then started to turn around and made his way and got into the car, as he got into the passenger seat he watched as he left the house behind and down the street.

@BlueSky44 @HushedWhispers The kitten seemed to be content in Lydia's arms as she lifted the little guy up to carrying it in the girl's arms, when Lydia noticed the cat and started to approach it. The cat would let out a really low growl and hiss while still holding onto the letter, when Lydia got closer the cat suddenly attacked cutting Lydia's leg drawing a bit of blood, might want to get some medical attention the cat was pretty feral. It ended up dropping the letter and running off to the distance, moving past Andrew.

The letter was dropped having small teeth marks from the cat, the letter had the mayor's name on it if Lydia chose to she could open it up, or turn it into the police. However if she kept it and the police found out about it, would most likely make her a suspect the kitten climbed up onto Lydia's shoulder and licked at her cheek slightly. When Andrew left the café he would see the cat clawing Lydia's leg and then running off past Andrew as well growling loudly as it ran off.

@Morose When Jenna left the police station she would instantly see Mayor Ryder's ghost standing outside of the police station, then he flickered slightly and disappeared. Then reappearing in front of the mayor's office just across the street, she would see Finley and Declan there as well the two were pretty close to the crime scene itself. The ghost of Mayor Ryder looked directly towards Jenna before turning and making his way into town hall.

"Sounds like a plan." Abraham said with a smile as he started to drive down the street, making their way towards his house that he had been living in for the last several years. The drive wasn't that far, only about three minutes from the center of town as Abe drove he parked his car in the driveway. "What plans do you have anyway?" Abraham asked as he pulled his car keys from the ignition, stuffing them into his pockets. Abraham grunted slightly his old bones sometimes hurt, but he was still able to get around pretty much, as he made his way towards his house and unlocked the door.

Inside the house looked more like it was something out of the 40's and 50's as Abe walked inside he walked towards a bookshelf pulling out a certain book an the bookshelf itself moved. It revealed his secret stash of grenades he custom built, though harmless to humans when they exploded sending flakes of silver every where. It was really deadly to werewolves though if they were caught in the blast, instead Abe reached over where he had kept his handgun and the silver bullets. "Grab one." Abe said motioning towards the stash giving her a slight smile.

Jeanna nodded slightly towards Jenna taking note that Riley had been visiting the lake more often then she should have been, it was slightly suspicious and gave her a nod. She was then slightly stunned by Jenna's comment on good luck finding her body, that was something Jeanna hoped that she didn't find. "I'll keep you posted on any developments." Jeanna said letting out a soft sigh as she ran a hand through her hair, as she walked over towards the coffee maker and started to brew herself a cup of coffee. She was going to have to head up to the lake and see what she could find, maybe something more was there that she had overlooked.

When he cup of coffee was finished Jeanna turned her attention towards Harry as he extended a hand towards her, Jeanna met the man at the BnB a few times. Jeanna gave Harry a soft smile as she shook his hand and leaned up against the side of the counter looking at him for a moment as she took a sip of her coffee. "Agent Jeanna Grayson, what can I help you with?" Jeanna asked, she knew that he was hired by the Walkers to search for their daughter but beyond that she didn't know what he needed her just yet.

When James sat down with his meal, one of the managers of the café noticed his dog there the man sighed as he walked over towards him and gestured towards the sign. "Sorry my friend, but you have to have you pet outside, unless hes a service dog." The manager said, looking at the dog for a moment and grabbed a piece of sausage and tossed it down towards her. He was friendly enough but he didn't want the health inspector to come in or have any complaints.

Olivia looked down at her phone and smirked to herself when she saw Taylor's reply to her text, then her attention went towards Andrew, she felt bad that she didn't want to go shopping with him, she couldn't help but hold back a slight snicker at Amanda's comment. "I'll certainly text you, don't worry and i'll make it up to you with a shopping spree in the city next time." Olivia said giving Andrew a loving hug as she watched him leave. Olivia turned to look at Jo and gave him a soft smile when Taylor came in and sat down next to him.

"Well I wasn't saying I was going alone your certainly welcome to join, both of you." Olivia offered, when Amanda what was good to eat, to her the food was always great one of the reasons why she enjoyed eating her breaks mostly there. "Try the steak its amazing, oh and their burgers to." Olivia said when Taylor mentioned Finley and then gave her the finger, she smirked and then gave Taylor a rather hard kick and stuck her tongue towards her friend. "Return that gift to her for me." She said jokingly as she started to continue with her meal enjoying it.

Finley held in a particularly girlish giggle at Declan's comment. Dammit, why did he have to do this to her? She turned into a regular boy-crazed girl and that wasn't ok. "Heh, good one. Still, those two together worry me a bit." She turned her attention back to the scene of the crime.

Or what was the scene of the crime.

She didn't know what to expect. She hoped the incompetence of the Sherrif's department would hold true and the scene would still be fresh, but they apparently did their job. First time for everything. She was about to turn back and apologize to Declan before something caught her attention.

That camera wasn't always there. She was sure of it. She didn't make regular visits to the mayor (God, kill her if she ever wanted to), but she was sure the camera was a recent addition. And given its position, it would have seen the scene unfolding right in front of it. "Hey look! A camera. That wasn't always there. And it's in prime position to catch the murder. Weird though, you would think the police would have grabbed that video right away and have the evidence they needed, but if they did, then why are they still investigating? Surely they can see what's on it."

Finley sent a quick text to Jenna (unaware the girl was very near her)

-Hey, was there the video feed from the camera outside the mayor's office submitted into evidence?

She turned to Declan, curious on his thoughts. "We should search his office. Maybe they didn't get the video and it's still inside. Couldn't hurt to look."

Jenna Westbrook

Location: Red Lake Sheriff's Department ---> Town Hall

Jenna's phone buzzed and had she not spotted the apparition she was looking for, perhaps she would've answered the text. Instead, it was driven completely out of her mind. Mayor Ryder was right outside, almost as if he had been waiting for her. Narrowing her eyes slightly, Jenna would've spoken with his ghost but it was an incredibly public place. She didn't want to appear insane, talking to the ghost of the dead mayor.

Following the flickering spirit with her eyes, Jenna saw him appear outside of the mayor's office, before turning to look directly at her. In Jenna's experience, each spirit reacted to her differently, once they realized they could not hide their presence from her. Perhaps this was an invitation from Mayor Ryder to solve his murder, but she also noticed Dec and Finn across the street, examining the crime scene.

She didn't feel like having the entire I talk to ghosts conversation with them. Putting her hood up, Jenna tucked her signature pendant underneath her shirt and pulled her hair back. It would be enough, hopefully, to get Finn and Dec to not realize she was there. Heading across the street, Jenna attempted to blend in with whatever crowds remained, before heading inside of town hall. She didn't know if Dec and Finn had spotted her, instead electing to move as quickly as possible.

"Where are you taking me?" Jenna whispered, trying to spot Mayor Ryder's ghost. He had to know something about how he died.

Josh couldn't help but chuckle at Andrew's rather humorous attempts to put on a smug face. If that was even his intention. He couldn't really tell and by the time he did it a second time he was far to distracted by Taylor's smile—and body—too care anymore.

He was further dumbfounded by the noticeable lack of distance between them as she sat down next to him. An electric spark jolted through his body at each point of contact. He mentally chastised himself for noticing such a tiny idiosyncrasy, but he couldn't help but not be himself when he was around Taylor. It was as if her presence sucked all the cool right out of him and left a socially awkward noodle in it's place. It was really a problem.

"Glad to have you." he managed, trying to lean back and play it cool. He naturally assumed he failed.

Thankfully, Oliva's words brought him back to reality.

"I ain't got anything better to do, let's make a day out of it." he shrugged, silently revealed at Oliva's willingness to have others tag along with her. Josh back at Taylor. "You wanna join the Mystery Gang? Olivia want's go searching for clues over by the lake. We have Scooby Snacks?" he emphasized the last part by nudging Taylor's arm with his elbow.

More electric shocks ran through him.

"I personally prefer a sawed off, but one of these will serve too, I supppose." She statted and quickly grabbed a gun, before neatly securing it at the back of her waist well covered by both her shirt and the coat." Must say though, I've always been impressed by the things you have, gramps." She smirked as she pulled walked over to the room where she slept, returning with a long bundle of clothing which she unwrapped for a moment, revealing the hilt of a sword, neatly wrapped in leather for good grip. She drew the blade just an inch to check if it draws well before shen odded in content and wrapped it again the cloth.

"Going to leave this in the trunk..." She stated with a sly smile, she also pulled a small matchstick box filled with dried up wolfsbane leaves, putting it in her pocket.

"I really hope this is smaller than it appears, but sadly I know it's not the case and this is probably a largescale problem brewing... Actually hell with it..." She said and dashed off only to return with her sawed off too.

"I was notified by the Sheriff that you were given the police file on Riley Walker's case, and I was hoping that you would be willing to disclose its contents to me." Harry didn't know what to make of Jeanna's smile. She could just be putting on a friendly face for the sake of professionalism. She could be one of those people that seemed happy to meet anyone. Or she might just be doing that thing where she smiles on reflex without really knowing why anymore. Whatever the case, she seemed to be more cooperative than he was expecting. It would be seen if that continued to be the case.

Subconsciously, his brain started to make a mental file for the FBI Agent. He would be seeing a lot of her, so it would do well to have as much information as he could on hand. He didn't have much at the moment, but that was to be expected. Follows dress code, coffee drinker, stress wrinkles, has the information he needs. None of these things were particularly unusual and probably not worth even keeping track of, but you had to start somewhere.

Clifford still had his face in a pillow when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. A small lift of hope and he pulled up from the pillow and slowly took his phone out. He inhaled before flipping it open only to see a text from olivia. A grumble went through him and he rubbed his face before sitting up more to reply back. He paused then typed out a rather short text. A text that was very much like him.

To Olivia:
Sure. when?

He then flopped backwards and kept his face covered with his arm for a moment before he felt himself internally break down. His boyfriend was safe yes, but his insecurities were surfacing. He needed to get out...a trip to the lake would be good for him. It would just be them right? He was probably being delusional with that thought process, but he knew he could not stay in his room forever. He inhaled once more and caught a faint whiff of leo on his hoodie. That caused his breath to hitch before he sat up rubbing his face. No he would not lose it. He was fine. He unzipped the hoodie and was about to toss it when his hand felt the music device filled with music that leo had sung and played. He paused before plugging headphones in and letting himself drown in his boyfriend's voice and music.

Lydia Weaver

Location: Outside of the Cafe

"Damn it!" she said, as she juggled the little kitten in her arms, stopping herself from dropping him. Her leg was hurting, and as she looked down at it, she saw the blood. She could feel the blood trickling down her leg, and it hurt a lot. Feral cats were not something you wanted to mess with clearly, and she watched it bolt away after clawing her. Lydia looked down on the ground, thinking to at least see what it was that she got clawed over.

She picked up the envelope, and turned it around in her hands. Even though she hadn't really seen him personally, she recognized the name of the mayor written on it. Lydia also knew that the guy was dead, and was trying to decide on what to do with it. If she gave it to the police, she probably wouldn't know what was written in it since she doubted Jenna or anyone would tell her. If she kept it, she could get in a lot of trouble if it was found in her possession. Since she did not like the prospect of jail time, she decided that she should hand it over to the police. Lydia didn't even notice that Andrew was there.

James Tanner

Location: Outside the cafe
Interacting with: Lydia Weaver @BlueSky44

Although annoyed at what the manager said about Allie, James wasn't about to argue with the man over it. Rules were fair enough, but the least he could have done was tell him before he'd ordered and paid for the breakfast. Thankfully most of it was gone, and upon swilling down a few more mouthfuls of toast with the remaining dregs of coffee, James clipped Allie's lead back to her collar and left the cafe. Part of him wondered why dogs were looked down upon so much in eating establishments, when most of them were trained to be less messy and noisy than most toddlers. And adults too, now that he thought about it.

"C'mon girl, let's get a walk in." He murmured to his dog as he left, the door jingling merrily as it opened. Upon exiting, the first thing he saw was a nasty-looking cat attack a girl nearby. Wrapping Allie's lead more tightly around his hand (James figured the sight of a huge Great Dane would be the last thing the scrawny kitten in the girl's arms wanted to see.), he approached her slowly, so as to not alarm her further. Big dogs freaked out humans as well as cats, but being such a dog-lover, he could never work out why.

"Hey, you alright? That thing left quite the scratch on you." His tone was approachable and paired with a friendly smile, but that was usual for James; he liked to meet new people and make friends, although preferably not when one of them was injured. Having snatched a few napkins from the cafe (You could never have too few napkins. You wouldn't believe how useful they came in handy when out camping.), he held out a couple for the girl. "I'd get it checked out, just to be safe. God only knows what bugs stray cats carry around." As he held out the napkins, Allie strained against the leash, sniffing in the direction at wherever the cat had gone. Noticing the slightly dirty envelope in her hand, James wondered if she'd just picked it up from the cat. But surely not? Why would a cat be carrying around a letter in it's mouth?

Declan smiled uncontrollably when he heard Finley giggle the way she did, furrowing his eyebrows together as if to ask 'The hell was that?'. Instead of possibly embarrassing the girl, potentially any further than she already was, he just let it go and focused back on the mission. Declan continuously kept taking deep intakes of breath as quietly as possible, trying to pick up the scent of anything/anyone unfamiliar at the scene. The blood had been cleaned up, but he could still smell it like the kill was still fresh. It was almost overpowering to his senses.

Almost at the same time as Finley had spotted the camera, so did he. It took but a moment for Declan to register that, yes, it probably captured the scene that happened the night before. He simply nodded in agreement and scanned the area, stepping in tune with Finley towards- there it was. As soon as his eyes caught the claw marks on the ground, he also caught the scent of the murderer. Not just any murderer. A murderous werewolf. It gave Declan peace of mind when he came to the conclusion that it was a scent he didn't know. The thought of the wolf who attacked him came to mind, causing him to physically flinch at the memory.

Once Declan came-to, it suddenly dawned on him just how urgently they needed to get to that tape.. well, he did... but what would Finley think witnessing a wolf kill the mayor. Hopefully, the wolf had just been in wolf form throughout the video, and didn't turn on camera. Would Finley even know what to think if she saw that? He looked to Finley when she spoke, nodding as he extended his arm out to pull open the door, waving her inside.

"Has Gwen gotten back to you, yet?" Unbeknownst to himself and Finn, Gwen had already beaten the two of them inside.

Taylor grunted and laughed as Olivia kicked her leg, trying to grab her foot as she did. Glaring at Olivia in a playful manner, she shook her head and listened to her speak, then Josh. Just then, Taylor's food was brought to the table. There were two links of sausages on her plate that Taylor hadn't asked for, but the smell of them had her thanking the Cafe's cook for including them. Wonder if they included them at no charge, or if she'd also have to pay for them, too. It didn't matter much to Taylor, honestly. What was a few dollars and cents for a couple sausage links? Speaking of which, the scent of the cooked meat woke something inside of Taylor. Her wolf was prowling at the edges of her psyche, wanting to come to the surface.

Her eyes flashed momentarily with the eyes of her wolf before quickly turning back to their natural dark brown. Taylor froze and glanced up at Olivia like, 'Shit, did he see that?' She side-glanced towards Josh, then down to her meal. She picked up her napkin and laid it out over her right knee, brushing Josh's thigh in the process. Turning a slight shade of pink, Taylor muttered a quick 'Sorry,' before grabbing her fork and knife to start digging into her eggs, sausage, and toast. It took Taylor a second to realize Josh was talking to her. She quickly swallowed the bite of sausage she took before wiping her mouth with her napkin, looking up at him and giggled lightly at his 'scooby snacks' comment. Nodding, she looked between him and Olivia as she spoke.

"I was already down there this morning just before the announcement at the Town Hall, but it wouldn't hurt to go back down there again. I'd just have to drop by my house and pick up Sadie. She's been cooped up in the house all morning, and I think she'd enjoy some time down at the lake, too. If that dog could live in the water, she would!"

@FantasyChic@Infamous Auror When Declan tried to open the door it was locked up pretty tight, they were in the middle of the crime scene at the moment so the deputies had kept the doors locked up to the Town Hall. The only person who had the key to enter the building at the moment was Sheriff Bradley, and he probably wasn't going to be giving up the keys to unlock the entrance to the town hall anytime soon until they had cleared out the crime scene.

Finley could of course try picking the lock at the door, or they could also try sneaking through one of the windows there were several at the front of the building. But they were now getting a few looks by the bystanders that were nearby, giving them odd looks and wondered what the two teens were doing. The windows were probably going to be the best bet now to get into the townhall or they could also try the back door to where Jenna was at.

@BlackPanther As Clifford was in his room he would feel his phone going off it was Olivia telling him that she was at the Red Lake Café just then he heard a knocking on the door as well as the doorbell going off at the front door to the Johnson's house. When he got to the door it was Olivia's mother. She had forgotten her house keys, and Olivia's father was out in town tending to some work and dealing with the news trying to get something set up for the night for their mayor even though Olivia's father hated the man.

Clifford would also get another text from Leo asking how he was doing, and that he was still really missing the hell out of him, and wanted to see him once he got back from his trip still. Leo was missing Clifford already pretty much already and they were now just outside of town now.

@BlueSky44@Peridot When Lydia checked the wound it was pretty deep, and would be needing stitches and a good cleaning from the cat scratch. Luckily everything was at the center of town pretty much, and the medical clinic, the medical staff was pretty friendly to pretty much everyone in town. They treated every patient nicely there and luckily it was only just a block away from where the café was.

Andrew stood there with a slight smirk on his face as he watched the cat skittering off to wherever it was going now. Andrew started to head up the sidewalk walking past James and Lydia it looked like he wasn't really interested in the two of them and didn't really want to help. On the letter if Lydia took a look at it there was an address to a house in town that was just out in the outskirts of town, the kitten looked down at Allie mewing loudly and hissed at the dog and clung to Lydia tightly scared of the large dog.

@Morose As Jenna made it to the back of Town Hall, there was crime scene tap on the back door the building was pretty much off limits until they could get the last of the crime scene done with. The door was locked up tightly just as it was at the front, however there was a small hole that was at the other corner of the building.

It was big enough for one person to sneak through, which also had the same crime scene tap over it that led to the inside of the old building. That was the best way to get through into town hall, it looked like the wood was half rotted away Jenna could see Mayor Ryder standing just by the back window before disappearing once more back into the building.

"Well when you've been alive for as long as I have, you will pick up a thing or two when working on a job with other hunters." Abraham said with a slight smirk as he stuffed the silver grenades into his pockets. As Abe listened to her he smiled and nodded slightly, though he preferred using his cane no one knew that it was actually a sword concealed inside it. It had been in his family for years, and he wouldn't hand it over to just anyone.

Abraham grabbed a few vials of wolfsbane he kept in there as well and kept them in another pocket of his, he coughed ever so slightly as Abe moved over to grab a glass of water and started to drink it down rather quickly. He overheard Kosara speaking and gave her a slight nod, Abraham was suppose to be retired from hunting by now but the job seemed to be constantly following him around now even after spending the last ten years in Red Lake in peace.

"Well better get up to the lake and see what we can find." Abe called out as he slowly started to make his way back to the front door and headed back to his car, grabbing out his car keys and started to open the door and started beeping the horn a few times just to get his grandniece to move just a little bit faster.

Jeanna listened to Harry for a moment as he asked if she could give him the file of Riley to him, she wasn't sure what exactly he wanted with it, the girl's file was pretty much clean. No criminal record, not even a tardy slip from the school from the girl Jeanna shrugged slightly and didn't see why not giving it to the man. "Give me a moment please." Jeanna said as she started to turn into an office, that was hers for the time being until the case was solved.

Jeanna grabbed the key to the drawer she kept in her pocket and unlocked it, and came back towards him. "Just so you know the girl's file is clean, no criminal records, or anything like that. It's pretty much a dead lead." She mentioned as Jeanna handed him the folder which was the same folder that Jenna had been looking into earlier. "Only other lead I can give you is the Lake she'd been there quiet a few times then she normally would." Jeanna mentioned as well. "Is there anything else I can do for you Mr. Kingsfield?" Jeanna asked.

"Oh yeah totally got myself some Scooby snacks in my bedroom I could totally go there and grab some before we head out." Olivia said with a slight smirk looking towards Taylor after she had kicked her friend for the middle finger thing for Finley and laughed slightly. She enjoyed just returning little messages to Finley in some way between the two when she wasn't working with her. Amanda was dead set on going with everyone to the lake as well.

Olivia finished up eating her steak and burger as the waitress took Amanda's order as well, she took a simple burger as Olivia looked towards Taylor seeing her friend's eyes flash for a moment. There were times that had happened to her as well, but luckily she had kept it hidden and controlled though the first few months after being turned were the hardest for her. Olivia gave a slight shrug she wasn't sure if Josh did see that or not either.

"I guess we all should meet up at the lake then, and we split up, me and Amanda will go search together and you and Josh search as well." Olivia suggested they split up once they all met up at the lake together. She gave Taylor a playful little smirk at their pairing together since she could see the two of them just being awkward little noodles together. Olivia took out her phone once more as she started to text Clifford.

To Clifford:
Going to be heading to the lake, with Amanda, Taylor, and Josh if you want to come with i'll be there."

They had the same idea, at least. Declan seemed oddly keen on the whole thing. Was it boredom? Was it because he wanted to spend time with her? Or was there something else. She hoped it was the second, but even if Declan had his own goals for wanted to see that tape, she hoped he would feel comfortable with sharing it with her.

She had her own secrets, after all.

When Declan tried to get in, it was locked. She had her trusty pick with her, but she noticed that there were some stragglers giving them the eye. While she didn't care one bit if they saw her trying to break in, she didn't want to put Declan in trouble. That, and she was sure the police would lock her up real quick. She didn't want to deal with them any more than she had to.

"No, and that's a bit weird. She usually has her phone glued to her. Something maybe came up? Anyway, I don't want to pick that lock with a ton of witnesses. Shall we try the backdoor? Or perhaps a window?" She was keen on getting in now. She was sure she was on to something with this tape. Hopefully, all would be revealed.

Of course town hall had to be locked. The sheriff's department in Red Lake was incompetent, but they weren't entirely so. They had to be efficient at one thing--locking doors. She made a mental note to learn how to pick locks at a later date. Finn probably knew how to do it. She had a certain skill set that Jenna couldn't help but admire. She'd have to cultivate her own one day. It'd piss off her father, but she really didn't care.

Walking around the back of town hall, Jenna spotted what looked like a decent sized hole. It wasn't big enough for more than one person to get through and even then it'd be a bit of a tight squeeze. The rotting wood only elicited an amused chuckle from Jenna. Town hall was supposedly kept nice by tax payer dollars and here it was, complete with rotting wood. Perhaps Mayor Ryder had been embezzling, Jenna pondered.

Regardless, she looked around quickly before climbing through the small hole, following Mayor Ryder as best as she could.

Location: Abe's home

"Yes... yes... gramps." She shouted from inside hte house as she was bundling up the last of her 'tools'. She put them neatly in a sack before rushing outside, naturally locking the front door and then going ot hte trunk of hte car to put them inside. With a pistol and knife on herself ready and her main weapons in the trunk in case of need, she felt ready enough and quickly hopped in hte passenger's seat by Abe.

"You know... we should ward off the car against spiritual presences later just in case." She stated suddenly." Actually I will do so when we return later. Never know when it might come in handy." She smiled innocently as she put on the safety belt.

"Hey gramps... if this proves to be as big as we suspect, shouldn't we call some more hunters here?"

In an attempt to diffuse the nervous energy building up in within him, Josh grabbed his half-finished cup of orange juice and nursed it in his hand. It worked as a great distraction from Taylor, albeit her proximity never left his mind completely. Nevertheless he managed to face away from the woman and take a few conservative sips of juice during the lull in the conversation.

It took everything in Josh not to jerk out of the booth at Taylor's light touch. With his brain working overtime attempting to compensate for his bodies plea for self-control, he barley registered her apology.

"Naw, your good." he murmured back, readjusting himself slightly in his seat to avoid another random act of contact. Not that he didn't want it, only common courtesy led him to make the active decision.

In a vain attempt to distract himself, he returned to the subject of the lake, putting the idea of him and Taylor alone together in the forest father back in his head. "So what makes y'all so bent on going to the lake to investigate yourselves. You think the police missed something?"

Harry Kingsfield

Location:
Red Lake Police Department

Briefly, Harry considered giving the FBI Agent his contact information: phone number, email and such. It would make professional sense; they were effectively trying to solve the same case, being able to contact one another made sense. But at the same time, they were staying at the same small hotel and in such a small town, it really wasn't all that difficult to track someone who hadn't mysteriously vanished down. Also he didn't want to give her a means of contacting him in case she was one of those people, and that he just didn't like her very much.

"I believe that should be all. Thanks for your time." Harry turned away from the agent and made his way out of the police station. As he walked towards the street towards his parking spot he jotted down a few notes in his notepad, all the while not looking at where he was going:
  • Walker's file supposedly clean
  • Possible lead: Lake. Unlikely due to constant search parties investigating there
  • Possible lead: Her room. Must ask permission before investigating.
Once he was all comfortable in his car, he would make his way back to the Bed and Breakfast. He could use a bite to eat, and it happened to conveniently be where his first lead was located. Two birds with one stone.

Clifford Normon

Clifford was quite distracted by the music that was playing in his ears and didn't immediately hear the knocking and the doorbell. After the third knock however he did and was soon pocketing the music device and darting down to the front door. He pulled it open and moved out of the way with his head angled downward. This is also when he noticed his phone going off in his pocket.

Cliff lightly pulled out the phone and visually cringed. More then one person at the lake. He paused looking at the screen before finally responding.

To: Olivia
Uhm. I guess. I have been told I need to be more social

He then re pocketed his phone. He gave a head nod to his foster mother before making his way back up the stairs where he proceeded to toss things for swimming into a waterproof red gym bag. He then gave himself a good while to Steele himself at the thought of doing something with a lot of people. After doing so he made his way out to meet them.

Lydia Weaver

Location: Outside of the Cafe
Interacting With: James Tanner @Peridot

She was surprised when she heard someone's voice. Lydia had been more focused on her injury that she hadn't gotten a good look around to see if anyone else was around. The boy had a giant dog, and even though she loved all animals, it made her have difficulties with the kitten, who clearly did not like the dog. She did appreciate how he seemed to have wound the leash up to prevent the dog from jumping up on her. This made it easier for her to hold the hissing kitten.

Lydia reached for the napkins that he held out to her, "Thanks, I'm alright," she said as she leaned over to put some pressure on the scratch without making the kitten uncomfortable. Lydia looked at the envelope again, and noticed an address on it. Even though she actually knew somewhat where the address was, she still was pretty sure that she should turn it over to the police, since she could get into some big trouble if she was caught with it. Her curiosity though, told her to go to the address and then hand it over to the police. She might not be in as big of trouble if she did that since she wouldn't have opened the letter right? She didn't know what to do with it.

Declan tried to not smirk at the word 'backdoor'. As childish as it was, he couldn't help but find dirty humor in it. He shrugged in response to her question, pulling his hand away from the door as he turned around.

"Might as well. Let's try the back before we have to resort to actual B&E." he laughed, tapping her shoulder with his hand as he walked passed, meaning for her to follow him. Declan walked towards the back, all the while thinking of the scent of the werewolf he'd not recognized. Why was it here in Red Lake? And why was it killing people? Did... it not care that there were more of them in this town, and something like this could mean particularly bad news for the rest of them? Something just wasn't right. Declan wanted to find this wolf as soon as possible.

He grabbed the handle to the back door and pulled hard, tugging it wide open to allow Finley to step through first. "If the murderer hasn't fled the scene of the crime, and he's inside, at least he'll go after you first and give me a headstart." Declan laughed and flashed a charming smirk-smile Finley's way.

Interactions: Olivia { @Nallore } ; Jo-Vaughn { @LokiLeo789 } ; Amanda { NPC @Nallore }

At Olivia's suggestion to pair Taylor up with Josh, a harsh chill ran down her spine as she turned bright red. She glared at her friend, shaking her head at her before she turned towards her crush as he spoke. His question sent her into a dead stop, exchanging a glance between the two girls sitting across from her before turning back to the boy. She simply shrugged her shoulders and decided to use the only excuse she had, which wasn't exactly a hop and a skip from the truth.. because it was a part of her truth, just not the whole truth.

"I worked-" the word caught in Taylor's throat, but not much longer than a heartbeat before she corrected herself and continued. "-work with Riley. If I was her, and she me... I'd want her to make every attempt in finding me, too. And it's not that I think the cops missed something. Well, okay yeah, it is. Kind of. I just think it's better to check things over multiple times, from multiple eyes and/or points of view." She held Josh's gaze as she took a quick sip of her coffee, adding simply, "We may not be from this town, but we live in it. These are our people as much as we are theirs." She turned away from Josh only to finish the last of her toast and eggs, licking her lips lightly before wiping her mouth with her napkin. Out of pure habit, she began to clean up her little area, piling the utensils and napkin on her plate, shoving it towards the end of the table.
