"Let's go see Jax. Maybe we can find out something else," Ophelia says to Morthos and then begins to make her way to the infirmary. She carries her bag and bow against her back, her whip still wrapped around her arm. Her feet move silently and swiftly against the ground, arms stretching outward to push the doors aside, the sound clanging through the room and her eyes come to rest on Jax. Quickly she goes to Jax's side and looks her over. "I see they took good care of you. Do you need anything for the pain?" Ophelia speaks quickly, just glad that Jax is okay. Just then though she noticed Roxas sitting on the bed next to Jax and her eyes narrow slightly, feeling unsure. The memory of last night comes to mind and she just stares for a long moment.

Jax grit her teeth, angry at her sister's description of last night, and looking like an idiot. She let out a small laugh at him thinking he could beat her but remained silent not having the energy to argue. She was starting to relax when he sort of complimented/warned her. She eyed him up, her expression slightly unreadable behind her bruises. Her voice was quiet, her mind on old memories,"Oh I can agree with you on that..honey...It's cute that you're worried, but I think I can handle a demon as well as you can control that creature in your brain. Now shush I want to enjoy this victory win without you yapping at me." She finished with her tone on the err of annoyance. Some of the drugs they had giving her making her irritated.

She turned seeing Ophelia enter the room, and shut her eyes her energy drained,"No the pain is...tolerable but the company is not." She eyed Roxas with slight contempt, "I have to stop by the magic ward to collect some potions." She saw Ophelia barely paying attention to what she said,"Or I could just shut the hell up so you can talk to each other."

Not to long after the others arrive to the room, Roxas snaps a little. "You think it's funny? I've accepted what the consequences are for my problem, but have you? You could die. I'm assuming this is your sister?" Gestured towards the other woman. "I lost someone very important to me because of demon summoning, and she was an S rank!"

Roxas notices how upset he's getting and trys to calm down, His eyes turning red. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get upset." He sits on his bed. He looks up at the woman adjacent from jax. "You're the woman from the other night. I see you got a new dress. It looks nice on you. I'm sorry for all the blood on the last one. Judging on how you reacted to it and attacked me, you must be a vampire." He looks her over quickly. "Was that enough to get a new arrow? If not I can give you more. Like I said the night before I have plenty to spare."

Ophelia stared at Roxas as he complimented the outfit she wore, though she still hadn't had a chance to use the Solars he had given her to buy a new dress or have a new arrow made. "My name is Ophelia. I haven't been to the shops yet, but I'm sure that you gave me more than enough to cover both. You could come with me to help me pick out a new one, if you like?" she suggested, smiling without showing her teeth and avoided the question about being a vampire, figuring it was obvious by now.

She gazed over at Morthos for a second who stood beside Jax, and then wandered to Jax and leaned close to whisper in her ear about something, smiling widely at her sister, waiting for confirmation. She watched as Jax nodded wearily, and Ophelia leaned forward to rest a hand on Jax's cheek carefully. "I'll see you at home later," she said surely, before turning her attention back to Roxas.

Morthos just stood by Jax and didn't say anything as the other three had their little conversation. Morthos glanced over in to the arena, another fight had started. Nothing exciting between anyone at the top, both combatants were smiling, Morthos guessed they were friends. Maybe they were trying to settle a bet about who was stronger, he couldn't be sure. Ophelia whispered something in Jax's ear which he couldn't hear, after she turned her attention back to Roxas Morthos gave her a bit of a look like what was that about? She'd tell him if she felt like it probably.

"So, Jax, think they'll be letting you out of here any time soon? We have places to be." While Morthos had been standing silent he had thought of someone who he would be willing to challenge, not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon. Mitsukuni Haninozuka, he was one of the top 5 in their league, and whilst he looked small and much younger than he was, he was deadly. He was incredibly fast and was very skilled in martial arts, it would be a challenge for Morthos but he thought he was up to the challenge. If Jax could break herself in order to give Titan the ol' one two then he could take the fight to Mitsukini, or as those familiar with him called him, Honey.

Jax listened quietly, her head aching as she was chastised by Roxas. She immediately felt like an ass. She was never good at arguing with someone. Fighting yes..but it wasn't in her nature to be an asshole, or at least a good asshole. She remained silent at the mention of his friend dying knowing he was right. She knew the statistics. Around 5% of magic-users could claim to be demonologists, and around 4% died at the age of 28. Most not finding a partner and turning dark, whilst the others losing control of their demons. She was playing with fire every time she released one of those fucking bastards. She remained quiet as Ophelia overtook the conversation fading into the background. She promised herself she would apologize to Roxas later, but for now, she just wanted to go home. She was paler than before, her expression turning wary.

She saw Ophelia come and whisper something in her ear and nodded feeling that at least she owed Roxas that, and Morthos to. She looked up at Morthos as he gave her the, "What's happening" look. She blinked,"You are both invited to dinner." She said matter of factly, "They are going to head out first and yeah I can go at any time."

She lied, knowing the nurse told her to wait until she could get a ride home. Jax groaned moving her legs off the bed as she stood shakily. She threw the ice pack in the sink and hobbled over to grab her scythe with her left. She rolled it over her shoulder wincing as she shoved it into her holster,"If you guys have classes, I can head home by myself. I just have to pick up some potions and I should be fine."

She looked over at the door, hesitating as it seemed fairly far away. She knew she was being stupid, she should ask for help but her pride wouldn't let her.

Roxas looks at Ophelia for a second. "Yeah I'll join you." He get up and walks over to pick his mask and places it in his pocket. "I need to go pick up my clothes from the change room though. So if you don't mind there first then yeah I'll go with you." Roxas starts towards the archway and looks back to see if Ophelia was following him. After walking a ways down the walkway, he starts to get a splitting headache and has to lean against the wall. "You shoved me down again, why don't you want to use me?" The voice in his head comes back. "Get out of my head..." Roxas whimpers and grimaces, sliding down the wall, feeling alone. "Please just leave me alone..." The voice laughs in this head and the headache gets worse. "That vampire girl looks pretty. It would be a shame if she got hurt." The voice laughs again. "Leave her alone." Roxas collapses on the ground and presses his back against the wall, starting to sweat. "You know, all this pain would go away if you just accepted me. Put on the mask Roxas."

"No! Get out of my head!" Roxas screams and the voice disappears. He starts to try and breathe normally, keeping his eye closed for a bit. As the headache goes away, he opens is eyes only to see Ophelia standing over him.

Jax did not look the best, Morthos doubted her ability to even get herself home, never mind go shopping for some supplies. "I can go with you," Morthos offered, "I never go to any classes, so I won't be missing anything." He offered her his arm so she could use it for support, "although being invited for dinner puts a kink in what I was planning," he said with a small grin, "I was going to take you somewhere so we could celebrate. Although I suppose we could still do that, if you'd be up for it, after we get your potions of course."

Speaking of potions, Morthos thought about what he may want to grab to prepare for his fight against Honey. He wasn't much of a magical item user, he always relied on his own magic in a fight. Maybe something flammable, Honey was very fast so the fact that his spells are all telegraphed would be an issue. Thinking back to Jax's fight gave him some ideas, he'd check out the store as Jax was getting her potions. "So what do you say? Potions then lunch? I think after that fight you deserve a treat."

Jax looked at Morthos' arm with relief. She gripped it quietly, blushing at his mention of going somewhere to celebrate. A DATE. Holy shit, she just met this dude. Morthos had some fucking balls asking her out so quickly. She eyed him with wide eyes then realized he meant it as it was, just a friendly celebration. She let out a breath, happy that she didn't have to break his heart. Morthos was a nice guy but she was going to be the strongest mythic of SPA she had to choose someone with immaculate strength so she could meet her goals. She had only four years left to find someone at her dream level. Love wasn't even a factor when it came to dating. It was an inconvenience and she would avoid it if she could. She smirked, leaning against him,"See this is how one should react when someone makes top 5 baby! Morthos you are slowly becoming my best friend."

She shrugged onward,"Let's get the hell outta here."

She waved to Ophelia,"We will see you at home in a bit...and don't tell Mom about the fight okay." She hobbled forward having Morthos lean her against him as they headed to the Store. As they were walking she was approached and congratulated over and over by friends and acquaintances that she knew. Many of them eyed Morthos with some resistance and Jax introduced him to everyone as her new friend without a hint of embarrassment. When they grabbed the potions she turned to him with tired eyes,"Ummm...If you tell anyone I said this...I will seriously hurt you..but can you piggyback me. I am so exhausted I can barely stand on my feet here. You can choose the lunch spot too. I'm game for some sweets though."

Ophelia agrees to stop with Roxas to get his things, and her eyebrows raise slightly when he leans against the wall and then collapses to the floor. She was unsure whether she should see if he needed help, or to just wait. But before she could decide, he screamed "No! Get out of my head!" and then he looked up at her.

"Is everything okay? Do you need help?" Ophelia's expression went from neutral to worried, stretching out her hand to him to help him up. She felt weird around him, but not really in a bad way. She had just never experienced a human like him before. And it brought back a lot of memories from when she used to be human likewise. Her mother was often harsh to her, never accepting the fact that one of her twin daughters was born absolutely human, and not a vampire like herself. She turned Ophelia as soon as Ophelia was matured enough. Ophelia's eyes looked into Roxas's and she gave him a gentle smile.

"Maybe we should grab a bite while we're out..." She held back laughter, hoping to cheer him up a little.

Roxas smile at Ophelia's comment and try's to get up. Struggling a little, but making it to his feet. "I'd love to grab a 'bite' with you." Roxas laughs to himself. "I am sorry for last night. You had just jumped on me out of nowhere and it surprised me. I had just finished a hunt and I just wanted to go home." He starts to walk back to get his clothes with Ophelia. "I'm also sorry you had to see that. I'll be okay though, it happens a lot." He looks at her and give a weary smile, being as tired as he is it's a wonder he can even walk at the moment.
Roxas didn't want to seem weak in front of the beautiful woman though, so he powered through it.

After they go and get the clothes, Roxas quickly changes into his normal outfit. After he comes out, he looks at Ophelia and smile. "What do you think?" He places his glasses on his face. "You'd never think that it was me." Roxas places his other clothes in his bag along with his mask, making sure that it was safe and still in his care. "Now where should we go first?"

Before accepting his offer of food Jax gave Morthos a wide eyed stare, did he do something wrong? But after a moment the stare was gone and she accepted his offer, so he supposed he hadn't messed up. As they walked many people came up and congratulated Jax on her victory, they gave Morthos wary little stares but Jax set them straight pretty quickly. Funny how Morthos went from antisocial recluse to friends with one of the most popular girls around.

As Jax got her potions Morthos was looking around for his own supplies, something he could use to help him beat Mitsukini. He found what he wanted, he would just need to figure out the best way to deploy it, but that could wait for another time. Jax was tired, Morthos wasn't completely surprised when she asked him to piggyback her to the restaurant. He turned around and let her hop on his back, Morthos wasn't the strongest guy but his brand of magic required a certain constitution so he would be fine carrying her for a bit. "If you're up for sweets, I know this little dessert bar not far from here which not many people seem to go to," he said as he walked them towards the place. "Also, you could just tell people I'm your new demon butler, I certainly look the part."

They arrived at Demitri's, and Morthos got them a nice seat by the window he enjoyed. Because of the outside designs you could see out but not really see in. They were brought a pitcher of water, two glasses, and menus. They served any kind of dessert item you could think of, it was a bit ridiculous but also very tasty, "so what are you thinking? I'm a bit partial to the waffles with mint chip ice cream on top."

Roxas smile at Ophelia's comment and try's to get up. Struggling a little, but making it to his feet. "I'd live to grab a 'bite' with you." Roxas laughs to himself. "I am sorry for last night. You had just jumped on me out of nowhere and it surprised me. I had just finished a hunt and I just wanted to go home." He starts to walk back to get his clothes with Ophelia. Ophelia watched as Roxas struggled to get up, though eventually making it to his feet, and listened as he apologized for the night before, and the episode he just had. "You were bleeding. I don't normally pay too much attention to humans because there are so little of them, but maybe that's wrong of me. I just didn't expect anyone to be quick enough to fight back." She spoke matter-of-factly and they eventually made their way to the change area for Roxas to grab his clothes. He was gone for a short bit and then returned, wearing glasses and a blazer with pants to match. She smiled a little, almost not believing he was the same person she had met the night prior. "You look nice."

"I think we should go to the blacksmiths first to have a new arrow made. It'll take the longest. And while we wait for that we can go find a new dress, since you decided to be so nice and ruin my other one. I liked that dress, you know," Ophelia smirked, though she really was kind of upset about it. She never had much money, so everything she owned she treasured. Even though he had given her solars to pay for the things he wrecked, she still felt like it would be a big expense.

Ophelia was excited about this little shopping trip, though. She rarely got to go and she made her way with Roxas out of the SPA grounds, through the tall gate and towards the market part of the city. "So, tell me a little more about yourself. What does your mask do? And what is your power? Can you use magic?" She began to question him, curious.

"Well you shouldn't have attacked me then." Roxas laughs. "You know I'm never going to let you live that down."

As they walked out of the gates, Roxas agrees to going to the blacksmith first. This meaning he can go shopping longer. Roxas could see that Ophelia was excited to go shopping as well. "Well lets see. I live by myself and have a lot of money." Laughs. " Anyways I'm 28 years old and I'm an only child. My parents died when I was young and I've been on my own since. As for my mask? I don't really like to talk about it. You saw a little bit of what it does at the fight. Not the speed or anything that's all me, but when I have control, I can rip it off and it enhances all my abilitys. I can go faster and be stronger and not have to worry about much. It used to be painful when I took it off but now it's pretty normal to me now."

After going to the blacksmith and placing the order for a new arrow, Roxas sets his glaive on the counter and asks for a tune up. "And how will you be paying?" Before Ophelia can even touch the bag the Roxas gave her, he pulls out another bag of Solars and places it in front of the blacksmith. "That should cover both and have a tip in it for you." Before the smith could even say anything, Roxas grabbed Ophelia by the arm and struts off. Ophelia gives him a strange look and Roxas laughs. "Just play along."

Once they arrive at the store, Roxas goes ballistic. "Alright here's the deal. Now don't tell anyone this, but I used to love to come here and find cute dresses. Me and..." He stops for a second and thinks a little. Snapping out of it, "Anyways lets do this. Like I said I have a lot of money so get whatever you like." He smiles at Ophelia then takes off to try and find a fitting dress.

Ophelia followed Roxas out of the blacksmith's shop and he grabbed her arm, laughing as he said "Just play along." She looked around the street and then up at him before whispering, "What are you doing?" She could feel his heart pumping blood through his veins, and even though she fed from the blood bank earlier in the day, it was never as satisfying as drinking from an actual being. She looked to the ground a moment and then tugged her arm away from him, her skin cold to touch. "I'm sorry," she whispers.

Finally they arrived at the dress shop, and as soon as they walked through the door Roxas began to talk again. "Alright here's the deal. Now don't tell anyone this, but I used to love to come here and find cute dresses. Me and..." Ophelia's eyes looked over his face as he spoke excitedly, but chewed her lip when his sentence fell flat for a few moments before speaking up again. "Anyways lets do this. Like I said I have a lot of money so get whatever you like."

She shifted uncomfortably at his offer. She barely knew him and yet he was offering her anything she could want. "I'm not here as a replacement to whoever it is you're talking about," Ophelia felt frustrated suddenly, unsure how to handle his comments. She was normally very polite and eloquent but this guy just knew how to get under her skin. Without waiting to respond she disappeared to find the seamstress and went to find a dress to buy. After a while she eventually came down to having to choose between two, and figured she would at least let Roxas give his opinion, despite the bitter taste in Ophelia's mouth.

After a few moments to work up her confidence again, Ophelia stepped out in a blue lace dress. The hem fell just at mid thigh, and the rest of the dress hugged her body in all the right spots. She looked up at Roxas, waiting for his reaction.

Roxas stares at Ophelia as she walks off to find a dress. "Not how I meant for that to go."

Ophelia walks out with a blue lace dress on and Roxas has a double take. His words get stuck in his throat. "You look beautiful." He can't help but keep staring then quickly looks away, blushing. "I'm sorry for staring. I think you should get that one." He looks again and can't help but try to hold back a smile.

Jax jumped onto Morthos' back, laughing lightly as she held onto him with one good arm. She leaned against him, happy for the rest. His back was broad enough that she had plenty of room and he was warm enough that she was comfortable. At his mention of a dessert bar, she noded,"Oh I'm so down for that! Dessert bar sounds amazing! Now hurry on Jeeves, how are we ever going to explain are slow entrance to the Country Club."

As they came to Demitri's Jax jumped off and moved to sit by the window. She looked around, noting that most of the other patrons were probably thinking she was a victim of relationship abuse. She looked over at Morthos, feeling bad he was put in that position. She picked up the menu trying to get him to notice her and not the assholes giving him dirty looks,"Oh dam that sounds freaking amazing. Ice-cream is definitely a must. I think I am going to get butterscotch on an apple crisp. Oh and a cup of strawberry tea."

She placed the menu on the table then leaned back,"Thanks for the piggyback, I really should go home to sleep, but I might have a concussion so not in my best interests. Jesus. I can't fucking believe I am top 5. OH MY GOD! Oh..yeah what was that other stuff you bought? I'm curious!"

Ophelia watches as Roxas stares at her, then apologises. “Does it look alright?” she asks him. She didn’t really have self esteem issues, but she was nowhere near popular like Jax was, so always seemed to second guess herself. She then looked to the seamstress who simply nodded at Ophelia’s question, and turned away to continue working. Ophelia then turned around to look at herself in the mirror, Roxas in the reflection behind her.

Roxas smiles at Ophelia. “That dress looks really fantastic to you.” Hoping she’ll smile back at him. “Do you like it?” He says sheepishly. He thinks about getting a little closer to her but decides to stay where he is.

Ophelia smiles at him softly in the mirror, “I think it’s beautiful. Are you sure this is okay?” She didn’t dare look at the price of it, too afraid of what the damage might be. Instead she simply waited for him to respond, still feeling uneasy.

Roxas looks at the price of the dress and his eye widen a little. “Why don’t you go ahead and take that off and I’ll go pay for it.”

Ophelia nods gently and goes to change back into the long off white dress she had originally went to SPA in, instead of the teal and gold dress meant for practice. With bare feet she walks up beside Roxas and then turns to lead the way back out to the market. “Were you wanting something to eat? I don’t know where the places to eat are around here, as you might imagine.”

While Ophelia changed, Roxas went up to go pay. “That’ll be 2,000 Solars.” Even though he already knew the price, he still grunts to himself. He pulls out a bag and gives it to the woman. “Here you go.” After he grabs the dress, he meets back up with Ophelia. “I’m okay to wait till dinner if you want.”

“Okay, that’s fine by me. Let’s go get that arrow and your glaive and we can head back to my house, if you like. It’s nothing really that fancy, just to warn you…” Ophelia says, the end of her sentence sounding a little bitter for a moment. “Thank you for buying me a new dress. You really didn’t need to. But I’m curious, who you were talking about before, in the shop?”

“Not a problem. I owed you anyways.” Roxas smiles at Ophelia then pauses once she asked her question. “Her name was Celti. She was my best friend if not my only friend. She was like Jax, a demon summoner. One day we were on this hunt and it was too much for just the two of us. I was going to rip my mask off to help her, but she stopped me…” He takes a deep breath and continues. “She summoned the most powerful demon you could. Ifrit. She couldn’t control him and she took her life. Sending me and the hunt flying. I got up to go find her and she was gone. Since then I have been alone, working hunts to try and make up for what happened.” Roxas keeps walking and makes it to the blacksmith to pick up his order. “Here’s your arrow.” He hands it over to Ophelia.

“How long ago was that?” She asks in return after listening to this woman he spoke about. His voice sounded a mixture of sad and loving, and she gave a sideways glance to see his expression. “Did you love her?” Ophelia knew it wasn’t much of her business, but love had always made her curious. She longed for someone to love her, besides her family and had simply not found what she was looking for quite yet. She knew she had probably an unrealistic ideal of what it would be like, but still a girl could dream.

“That was four years ago.” Roxas walks over to the water fountain and sits down. “You know I probably loved her but I never said anything to her. Looking back on it I wish I did.” Laughs under his breath. “She couldn’t have loved me though. Who would love me? I have this damn voice in my head trying to control me. Why anyone want someone like that.” He tilts his head back and looks at the sky. “I’ll never forget that day though. I lost my only friend. Anyways I don’t want to ruin your day with my sob story. What would you like to do next? We have a bit of time before dinner.” He looks over at Ophelia, a small tear dropping down his cheek.

Ophelia sits carefully against the fountain beside Roxas and listens to his story, though staying quiet when he asks “who would love me?” She chewed on her lip a little, nodding while listening. “I’m sorry that happened to you. And well, we could go watch the boats for a while, or just wander back to my house. I promise you it’s a ways away. We don’t live near the city centre. Come on,” she stands again and turns her head in the direction of her home, feeling suddenly nervous. She would need to feed again soon. Maybe after the boys left once dinner was finished.

Roxas look up at Ophelia and sees her face. He notices that her expression changed, assuming that she’s hungry. “How much do you need?” He stands up and looks at Ophelia.

Ophelia was taken aback for a moment, staring at Roxas as he stood tall over her while she remained seated. “Not too much. But you really don’t need to do that. I can go hunting later when dinner is over. Not to worry.” She smiled softly, her eyes to the ground now, feeling them beginning to darken and her throat becomes tight as it burns very slightly just at the thought.

Roxas takes Ophelia by the hand and finds the nearest ally and takes off his blazer. “I can tell you’re hungry. Please take as much as you need.” He holds his arm out for her and looks her in the eyes.

Ophelia followed Roxas and went into the alleyway, looking around nervously for people. She never fed in daylight. She was weakest during this time of day as it was, and she didn’t need people staring at her regardless of the lack of humans. She watches silently as Roxas took his blazer off, speaking to her “I can tell you’re hungry. Please take as much as you need.” She stared at him for a few long moments before pushing his arm to the side, closing the space between them. She rested her hands on either side of his face again, this time tilting his head to the side with the intention to feed. She leaned close and curled her lips up over her teeth, her fangs pressing sharply into the side of his neck, causing his blood to flow easily into her mouth.

Roxas winces a little as Ophelia draws blood from his neck. Is arms start to move and wrap around her waist, closing the distance left between them. He starts to breathe heavily while his right hand moves up her back a little keeping her close so she can take as much blood as she need. After a while he starts to feel weary and leans back against the wall. Once against the wall, he moves his hand to the back of her head gently then drops it, limp.

The moment that his blood rushed against her tongue her eyes widened. She could feel his hand pressing onto her back to keep her close, and her body is pressed to his. Suddenly she could hear his heartbeat slowing, though she had a hard time stopping herself. Her pupils dilated, and she felt grounded, him being the only thing she could focus on. Finally after many moments, just before his heart might stop from being drained of blood, she pulled back and wiped at her mouth slightly, the red liquid smearing across the back of her hand and staining her lips.

Roxas looked at Ophelia and smiled gently before he had to sit down. “I hope that helped.” He said as he almost passed out. He gently looks up at her and tries to run his hand through her hair, but can’t seem to lift his arm up enough.

Ophelia simply stares at him for a while, knowing what just happened will have a far bigger impact on them both eventually, but for now she would stay silent. Her strength felt renewed and her senses were going haywire. She reached out and pulls him up to stand, unsure at how long it’s been. “Let’s go,” she whispers, unaware of the blood on her lips.

“Wait.” Roxas looks softly speaks to Ophelia. He takes her hand and pulls her close to him. He looks at her lips for a second and wipes them with his finger. “I know….” He trails off and closes his eyes.

Ophelia looks up at him confused and then decides she has bigger things to worry about currently, one of them seeing Jax. She pulls away from him slightly, leading the way back to her house. Once they arrive she unlocks the door, making her way with Roxas close behind into their apartment.

Morthos ignored any stares by patrons, the owner and servers were nice to him at least. "Strawberry tea huh? I'm a bit more partial to blueberry tea myself." Morthos put his own menu down and glanced out the window, watching people walk by, before he could respond to Jax their server came back and took their order. "Thanks John," Morthos said as he walked away with their order before turning his attention back to Jax. "The stuff I grabbed is to help me with a fight I'm going to challenge Mitsukini to. Watching you fight Titan, it just made me think that I have to try harder."

He sighed and looked out the window, "there's this whole world out there, and up until now I've basically just been hiding away in libraries by myself. I was never really friends with anyone until you. I always wanted to just stay away from people and live my life alone, even though I know that's not really possible." He looked back at her and gave her a small smile, "but enough of my sappy ass, this is about you, you're officially a D-tier member of SPA, you're moving up in the world, maybe I won't be far behind you."

Jax pursed her lips at his suggestion of blueberry tea,"Oh that sounds pretty good as well." She watched the waiter come by and gave him a smile as she listened to Morthos' wish to fight Mitsukini. She felt touched that her fight inspired him to get out of his shell, and again she blushed at his praise. She loved the attention, who didn't. She knew Ophelia was probably just thinking she was an idiot, and her Mom, god forbid, thought she was certifiably insane when it came to her goals. She spoke evenly after he finished,"I am happy that I inspired you to get out of the books. I'm sure they're comfortable but you're right, there is too much out there for you to just settle on one thing." She paused, looking at him for a few seconds before being brutally honest,"I have a dream..to one day be the greatest magic-user at SPA and I know that sounds narcissistic and power hungry, but being able to protect the things you love is an honor I have always placed high importance on. If I can be someone who is not afraid to face the world, then perhaps I can protect it.....Also, the money is awesome. I'm fucking tired of being poor."
She smirked, growing more cheeky, "Aside from that shit though, Mitsukini huh...I don't know much about your skill but he's tough. If you need help training I'm happy to help you out where I can. We are friends now and that means I expect greatness from you as well! It would be nice to have someone I like as a future team member. Plus I feel us demon inclined souls should stick together for a bit."

"I feel like my soul may be a bit more demon inclined than yours is," Morthos said with a slight grin. "Wanting to be the most powerful isn't bad if you're doing it for the right reasons, and it sounds like you are. As for Mitsukini, I know I probably won't be able to beat him with just my magic. He's too fast for me, my spells are too telegraphed, but with the supplies I grabbed, I think I'll be able to pull it off." Morthos knew though he'd have to either fight Mitsukini or watch him in a fight beforehand to get a real feeling for his technique. Morthos took a drink of water then said, "thanks for the training offer, I think if we were to really fight it'd be an interesting match."

Jax laughed, looking up only when the John brought them the food. She bit into the ice-cream quickly,"MMMMMMM....also...I'm pretty sure I'd kick your ass! I don't know if you know this but I am D tier now...so....I'm a pretty big deal" She giggled kidding obviously. She pointed her spoon at him,"All I'm saying though, is to be careful, and try not to get too wrecked, because...this." She waved the spoon back at herself,"Fucking hurts. The only solace is that Titan is going to wake up in a hell of a lot more pain than I am."

"Oh, sorry Miss big shot, please forgive my ignorant soul," Morthos chuckled as he started eating his waffle, "I'll be sure to check myself before I wreck myself." He ate some more of his waffle, he could tell Jax was clearly enjoying herself. "You know, fun fact about me, I am technically nobility." That was one thing about being a tiefling Morthos enjoyed, despite all the bad things he was still technically a noble.

Jax laughed at his retort then took a bite of apple crisp, raising an eyebrow,"Nobility? What does that necessarily entail....Are you like mega-wealthy. Do you live in a castle or something?" She didn't mean to be rude, she was generally curious,"I just want you to know my birthday is coming up and I like pretty scythes...." She laughs,"Just kidding. Seriously...if you're rich, don't buy me a scythe." She took a sip of tea, enjoying teasing him.

Morthos laughed, "No, sadly I don't have a castle. It's just back in the nation of Bael Turath, the nobles made deals with devils for power. Now all of their descendants look like me," He sipped a bit of his tea, leaving out the fact that his mother did happen to be pretty wealthy, but for unrelated reasons. "It's kinda nice knowing that despite the looks I get sometimes I'm technically related to someone who was high ranking in an ancient kingdom," he ate some more of his waffle and asked Jax, "any interesting facts about you? Why did you decide to go into demonology?"

Jax's eyes widened,"That's really cool! I bet your family history is very interesting! Deals with devils, I bet the stories are amazing." She sat back, hating talking about her past,"I didn't choose demonology. I wanted to be an earth bender like my Dad but the trait wasn't passed on. I got into an accident when I was about eight and luckily enough Ophelia was there to save my ass, but this was after I..." She shivered her expression turning cold and dark, the humor dying a slow death,"I was sent to hell." She looked down at her palms, parts of her pentagrams poked out of the bandages and she grit her teeth,"I..." She paused remembering the blazing heat of the flames and the screams. The image was burned into her brain, and she shivered. She clenched her fists,"I came back with a vengeance and a contract...let's just say that." She looked out the window, taking another bite of ice cream. There were things that she had never told anyone about, not Ophelia or any of her friends. Things she would take to the grave. Horrors.

Hearing her voice the way it was made Morthos realize how serious this really was. Being who he was he had so many questions, but he could tell she wouldn't answer them. "I've had visions of hell, but I can't imagine having been there," he reached out and took one of her hands gently in his and gave her a comforting smile, "you don't have to say anymore, if you ever want to give me the whole story, I'm always available to listen." He let go of her hand and went back to eating, when they finished he went to the front counter and paid for them both, even if Jax tried to pay he would be having none of it. "So, to your place than now that we've ruined dinner with dessert first." He gave her a cheeky grin, then turned around for her to get on his back again if she needed it.

Jax looked down in surprise as he grabbed her hand and offered her his ear. She blushed, giving him a small smile, but remained silent. After the finishing the meal, they went to the counter. She dug into her pants for some cash, but Morthos had paid already. She twitched her nose,"I'm getting it next time sir!" She then nodded at his mention of ruining dinner. She eyed his back with relief and hoped on, as they made her way to her place. She laughed as he bounded toward the ghetto part of the city. The building that contained Ophelia and her home was grungy. The brick was old but solid, and the place was as well maintained as an old apartment building could be. When they arrived they headed inside, noting Ophelia and Roxas were already inside. She eyed Ophelia's expression, noting that there was something off about it. Not bad...just interesting. She hobbled in, with Morthos following her,"Hey guys...have fun....shopping."

Suddenly her bedroom door swung open and Hargul came out, dressed in a glittered leotard,"MISS JAX! MISS JAX! HOW DID FIGHT...OH MISS JAX LOOKS LIKE PUNCHING BAG." He crawled up her leg hugging her neck,"YOU WON! YES? YES?" His green eyes opened to see Morthos behind him,"YOU BRING SHITSPOON WITH YOU TO! WHY MISS JAX??? HE MEAN TO HARGUL!"

Jax hugged her little creature with one arm, kissing his scaly bald head,"I KICKED THAT DOUCHEBAGS ASS HONEY BEAR! Also be nice to Morthos! He is my friend now..so you hold your tongue!"

Hargul looked over at Ophelia and Roxas,"MISS OPHELIA BROUGHT SHIT SPOON TO! NO BOYS IN HOME! DAD BE MAD AT YOU! THIS ONE LOOKING AT OPHELIA'S BUTT! HARGUL SAW! HARGUL SAW!"

Jax tried to resist but she began laughing hysterically, at Roxas' and Ophelia's faces.
