Milo is a young man with many thoughts, his mind traveling in circles more often than not. One could blame it on his engineered life but he tends to overthink things often and can at times be forgetful, trying to keep track of too many things at once. Despite his appearance showing an expression of boredom or indifference, once you get to know Milo you'll see a sarcastic, lighthearted and fun-loving individual who doesn't appear to take life too seriously. He is indeed categorized as one of the quieter types of people, sometimes forgetting to speak because he has indeed thought about the sentence too much and as such believes he actually spoke it.

He can be a bit all over the place, both physically and mentally. Milo wouldn't exactly be considered polite or respectful, but rather appears to act the same towards everyone. Having been locked up throughout his life has left the boy rather socially crippled which quite seriously effects his social situations. Milo is blunt to a fault and doesn't sugarcoat anything. He likes to joke around and remains honest most of the time because he doesn't see a reason to hide the truth unless it's absolutely necessary.

Despite acting like a brat at times, those who know Milo know that he stops at nothing for those he considers his comrades. No man left behind is a motto he runs with. He's supposed to be there for others at all times and that is a lesson he has learned throughout the missions he has participated in. If for nothing else, to raise the effectiveness of the team through positive relationships.

Milo has displayed impressive patience and often finds something to do while waiting for others and though he is laid back to a fault, Milo has been noted to be a neat freak and a perfectionist. Everything always needs to be in its place and Milo is incredibly strict when it comes to being on time, at least concerning himself. Oddly enough, he appears satisfied as long he has lived up to his own expectations, others don't seem to matter as much when it comes to time management.

Appearance
Milo stands at a meager five and a half feet, weighing ninety pounds, something considered quite a disadvantage in brawn and strength. He doesn't appear to possess many visible muscles either, his limbs rather thin and slender. With a scrawny frame, Milo would clearly be labeled as harmless and unable to fight, a set of ribs easily visible beneath his skin. One can draw the obvious conclusion that the boy isn't fit for melee endeavors.

The thick black hair atop his head falls down to the base of his neck along with bangs covering his eyes unless kept out of the way with either a bandanna, headband or toboggan. A pair of curious brown eyes are constantly kept on the lookout, as if waiting for an impending ambush. In truth, Milo simply prefers to keep his surroundings in check. Needless to say, he hates surprises as long as he's not the one giving them. An expression of indifference or boredom are common sights upon this boy, appearing unamused but not necessarily dissatisfied.

While lacking combat scars, several puncture wounds from the pointy end of needles can be found on various parts of his body. It is safe to assume that they found home on his frame before his mutation came to fruition. A pair of black cargo pants reach down to his ankles where they are slightly folded up and a black hoodie often find home atop his torso. Due to his small size, Milo often wears over sized shirts but he has gotten used to the nuisance. His hands always find home in a pair of fingerless leather gloves which allows for a better grip and would be considered stylish by his standards.

Having the frame of a sixteen-year-old teenager, one shouldn't expect too much from Milo. Indeed, his frame is the direct result of what he was intended for, but it also leaves the boy with less physical strength than most within his circle of acquaintances. Indeed, while adept in both combat and acrobatic maneuvers, Milo always has to rely on finesse and grace in fights. Marksmanship is a skill he is incredibly familiar with but it leaves melee endeavors a less than mastered skill. He would display immense difficulties overpowering opponents with fists alone and finds himself at a disadvantage overall.

Lacking in imagination, Milo feels most at home in black clothing as well as black canvas shoes. He never did consider himself fashionable in any way. Milo is often, as was the purpose of his design, considered cute by his surroundings. The olive tint to his skin would easily dot his ethnical home somewhere in the middle east and his thick hair hugs his face quite nicely. It is uncommon to see Milo without some kind of music attached to his person. A pair of headphones appear on his head more often than not and it's safe to say that his thoughts wander freely, leaving him less than aware of his surroundings at times.

Equipment, and Weapon
Milo deploys a variety of different long ranged weapons, depending on the mission at hand. He does however always carry a pistol for self defense. During missions, Milo arms himself with a sidearm and one main weapon. Anything else would weigh him down.

Each of Milo's guns are heavily modified with an emphasis on tactical operations. As such, his weaponry cannot hold normal bullets and they have been greatly silenced to avoid a gun's typical, loud entry.

Ammunition
Milo detests killing when other options are available. As such, Milo prefers non-lethal projectiles which he loads into his guns. Some situations require a different approach, however.

Electro Bullets
Milo's most common form of ammunition. Electro Bullets do not physically harm the target, but rather stuns them with high voltage which causes fainting.

Paralysis Bullets
Sometimes high voltage isn't what's needed. Paralysis Bullets temporarily shut off a body part hit by the projectile. These bullets are used to incapacitate a target while keeping them awake for questioning.

"It's no mystery anymore, the ability to create artificial lifeforms. Nor is it an impossibility to create a human being in a test tube. Honestly, one could almost consider it a cliché at this point. M110, it's a name I got acquainted with throughout my life in a facility I called home. I wish I could give you something more interesting to listen to, but I'm afraid it's simpler than I'd like to pretend. There's a recipe for mutations out there, hidden deep beneath the heavy layers of research within the confines of laboratories and facilities. It's a funny thought, honestly. Imagine your life drawn out on a notepad before you're finally brought to fruition. I can safely say that I had no biological parents. Am I human? I was created to be one, but what exactly does that mean? Simply because I look like a human, bleed like a human and act like one, does that inherently make me homosapien? I guess that's a philosophical conversation for another time. You want to know about my past and how I got here. I'll tell you as much as I remember.

Okay, we'll start at the beginning. As I said, I was never actually born. I was created. What was the purpose of that? I wish I could say it was because someone really wanted a son but that wasn't the case. At this point I am sure you can guess my purpose, it was to be a weapon like many biological weapons before me. I'm not an android or a cyborg, I'm completely organic but I guess you could call it bionic, right?

The mold for my appearance came from my creator's late son. That's a bit morbid, I know. She apparently couldn't say goodbye. He died at sixteen, from what I could gather. Creating me wasn't exactly a healthy way of coping but there were other reasons for writing my name on a drawing board. You've seen the typical heroes and villains out there, right? Some of them are huge brutes, some of them are heroic and muscular. Some of them are magical and command the powers of mysticism, and then there's me. I was designed on a cellular level to look cute, inconspicuous. My body's slim to an almost scrawny level without any muscles visible on my skin. My eyes are made to be big, innocent and my voice hints at a lack of strength behind every word. It's the perfect assassin, right? A person who people would lower their guard around, a person no one would look twice at. No one in their right mind would consider a kid a killer, right? Well, that's what they were counting on.

Designed to look small, fragile and innocent but with the capabilities of a professional killer, they cooked up a weapon they were satisfied with. Of course, this mold was just the beginning. The mutation they gave me was an insurance of sorts, a means of removing my expiration date. You'd think that they'd give this mutation to everyone, but it's not really that simple. Your body has to react positively to the treatment, otherwise it straight up kills you. They had to create a bionic person specifically for this mutation to actually work. It's not a cheap process, and it's why there's only one of me.

Alright, that's about enough of the technical information. There's probably a lot more to say about the cellular configuration of my biological structures and whatnot but honestly, I don't really know what to tell you. All I know is what I've gathered and I'm not exactly a scientist. I wouldn't understand half the things written about me. I'll tell you about my experiences instead, that's what you want to hear about.

I was always treated rather well by Dr. Hemsworth. She was the one put in charge of me. The person you see today is the person I started out as. I never actually grew, but rather started out this way once my creation was complete. When they finally let me out of the glass confines I had been seeing the world through, Dr. Hemsworth was the one who took care of me. She taught me all manner of things, really. Combat knowledge was a mixture of artificial downloads placed in my brain during creation and physical exercise which took place in the same laboratory, and it took quite a while before I was sent on my first mission. I still remember it quite clearly.

I had been designed to kill and my target was a certain Robin Clay. He was a man with many enemies, mainly because he was a drug lord. I think this ties into explaining exactly who it was that created me. They're not around anymore, but it was an underground organisation with a lot of money and a lot of plans. I won't say they were all that bad, honestly. Sure, they committed to a lot of shady work but their main purpose was to target very dangerous people. The name of the organisation I belonged to was Void, not the most creative thing you can come by but it got things done.

Between missions, Dr. Hemsworth treated me much like a mother would treat her son. She was really good to me and never saw me as a weapon, but rather as her responsibility. Though, all good things come to an end, don't they? The reason for my existence was a simple one. Get a target, kill it, move on. Though, Void wasn't the only organisation out there doing this and eventually we got outplayed and completely destroyed by forces we couldn't surpass. Someone on the inside had been dismantling the organisation for quite some time and we hadn't noticed so the fault was ours.

Though, with the fall of Void, Dr. Hemsworth met her demise. It left me without a home and without a job. Most of all, it left me without a purpose. That's what lead me here. You can say what you want about Void, they're not around anymore, but I was designed to put down dangerous people who make hurting others their business. That is a purpose I'll cling to and even though my home is gone, my mission isn't. My methods aren't as morally questionable as they used to be, however. That gets you more enemies, than it's worth. Oh, what did M110 stand for? Male one hundred and ten. I was their one hundred and tenth attempt at this."

Short Explanation
The ability to replicate any inanimate object within a frame of limitations. The ability also allows for a passive adjustment to the user's frame which is described below. Each replica created by Milo is in all intents and purposes the real thing, meaning it's an exact copy. After an item comes in contact with his skin, a replica will build itself into existence as if building blocks appearing on top of each other until the item is fully created. The process begins from where the item was touched and is nearly instantaneous. It is also worth noting that the replica will appear in the same hand Milo used to touch the item in question.

Milo's skin needs to come in physical contact with the item he intends to replicate, preferably with his fingers.

The item cannot weigh more than two pounds.

Quantity
Milo can replicate up to three items. A fourth would replace the first. As long as the item in question doesn't weigh over two pounds, Milo can replicate everything contained within a single unit.

Supernatural Items
While supernatural effects can be replicated along with the item, these effects cannot be magical in any way. Milo cannot replicate magic.

Milo's cells do not split, but rather they replicate. A cell deteriorates every time it splits which in turn causes ageing. At twenty years old, Milo's powers matured and as such, his cells stopped splitting and started replicating which in turn halted his ageing entirely.

Organic Steel Tissue: On Command Piotr can transform his skin into an organic steel. This makes him impervious to most traditional attacks. It also increases his density and weight considerably, the name Colossus is not chosen ironically. All his other abilities come from this.

• Superhuman Strength: This goes without mentioning. After transforming into his armored state, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength. He is easily one of the physically strongest X-Men, even when not transformed he has strength to match someone of his size and build.
• Superhuman Stamina: His body reacts differently while it is transformed. The toxins that tire the muscles and cause fatigue in regular humans still affect him however it takes several days of exersion for him to become fatigued.
• Superhuman Durability: In his armored form Colossus is invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm. His armor is capable of withstanding ballistic penetration, including that of a 155 millimeter Howitzer shell. He has truly put his body to the test while trying to help people, it can take a beating. However it should be noted that it doesn't regenerate rapidly, so in the unlikely event he is injured it takes longer to heal. If his armored state is wounded, turning back is a major threat to life as the wound can be amplified.

Piotr was raised in Post-Soviet Union Serbia, in what 'used' to be a Soviet farming community. Truthfully not much changed in his little community after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Many people in the community still considered themselves to be Soviets, and Piotr was raised on a belief that everyone had their part to play in the community, and that everyone was respected. His family was well known in the community, after all his older brother Mikhail had been a cosmonaut for the Soviet Union and had been quite famous, until his rocket had disappeared prior to Piotrs birth. Piotr never knew his brother, though he knew he was a fine upstanding citizen and hoped that one day his brother would somehow return and he could be half the man his brother had been.

Still, he lived on the farm and lived and ordinary life caring for his family and his community. He became very protective of his younger sister Illyana and the two became virtually inseperable. He cared deeply for his Little Snowflake. When he was twelve his powers manifested themselves when he saved his sister from being run over by a run away tractor. While initially confused he saw the powers as a blessing, giving him the ability to help out his people more than he had previously.

After a year of being a hero to his local community word began to spread throughout Serbia and even into Russia, with some old KGB connections still existed even in the early 2000s. With the emergence of Super powered individuals in America many other countries were secretly financing their own experiments and tests. While many outwardly appraised Tony Stark and his efforts at helping to create world peace many other countries didn't like the idea of an individual with enough power to just go wherever he wanted, when Russia learned off a young teenager in Serbia that seemed to possess incredible abilities they didn't particularly care about the trivial matter of there being an international border.

First they tried the diplomatic approach, gave Piotr the option to serve the fatherland much like his brother had in his own time. When Piotr refused forces moved in to attempt to subdue him, unwilling to put up a fight surrendered when no escape was possible. After all he didn't seek to hurt anybody. He was taken to what Americans would call a 'black site' in order to try and 'convince' him to work for a program called the Winter Guard. In truth, Piotr was close to accepting the offer when somehow his release was granted at the highest levels. When he left the facility he was approached by a bald man who told him that his name was Charles Xavier and that he needed Piotrs help, and that he promised to explain everything.

_X-Man?

Piotr didn't really have time to grasp the reality of the situation, he was some form of mutant and he was being paired up with other mutants in order to try and stop some form of nuclear war. He didn't question it, there wasn't much time to question it. Before he knew it he was being thrown into a combat environment where he had to defend the lives of others, and wound a few in order to save many. It conflicted with his beliefs, despite his size and his strength he had always been a gentle soul. His abilities were... a little inconvienent facing the foe that they faced however in the end the X-Men prevailed, just in time to catch the news of the Battle of New York.

The result of this had Charles Xavier disband the new group, dubbed the X-Men (Xaviers Men), Colossus spent a period of time within America acting as a 'good samaritan' in the shadows before he returned home to Russia.

Piotr returned to Serbia and upon seeing what a group of criminals had done to his home, he decided that his time as a hero wasn't yet done. Taking on the name of the project the Russian Government had tried to recruit him too he became a hero within the wilds of Serbia, and Russia and generally whereever the need took him. Within a year however the lifestyle proved too difficult, the Professor had advised that they stay under the radar and Piotr wasn't exactly a subtle individual. The violence was also a negative side effect for the gentle giant, who would far rather paint than get into a fight.

Not truly knowing what to do with himself he moved around from city to city, sometimes he would just go to paint whereas other times he would get some form of high risk job doing manual labour. All while avoiding using his powers, though sometimes when there was major accident or a building caught fire. People would swear that they saw a large man coming to the rescue, those who were saved by him claimed it was as if he was made by metal however these notions were dismissed as a mass delusion likely stemming from one report.

Piotr lived a life of peace.

Magnetic Field Manipulation

Lorna can generate, control and manipulate magnetism in all its forms, both natural (planetary, solar, lunar, stellar, magnetosphere, magnetic materials/ferromagnetism, etc.), organic (generated by the electric currents of living beings) or artificial (everything creating/using electricity). She can affect any matter that is magnetic (iron, nickel, cobalt and their alloys, some rare earth metals, naturally-occurring minerals such as lodestone) manipulating and controlling them as she will and indirectly use them to manipulate other things.

The main feat made possible by magnetism is Polaris' ability to lift and manipulate metal. She has shown such fine tuned skills as to nearly liquefy, mend, and reconstruct metallic objects, and has some level of influence on the ferrous metals that reside in everything.

Polaris is an Alpha level mutant, and has all the potential to be just as powerful as Magneto.

• Magnetic Flight: Polaris can suspend herself in flight by riding the Earth's magnetic field.
• Magnetic Force-Fields: Polaris can protect herself from physical harm, can stretch her fields to protect a large group, and can suspend persons or objects in the air.
• Magnetic Pulse: Polaris can focus her magnetic energy into powerful concussive blasts. She can also overload or short-circuit electrical systems.
• Electromagnetic Sight: By concentrating, Polaris can perceive the world around herself solely as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. She can perceive the natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings, as well.
• Metal/Matter Manipulation: Polaris has a great ability to be able to levitate objects metallic and nonmetallic, with her electromagnetic field she can levitate objects and destroy them in the air, or through a small manipulation of gravity, can also cause non-metallic objects to levitate in the air and manipulate it through electromagnetic energy.
• Organic Iron Manipulation: A relatively newly learned ability, she is able to manipulate the natural iron within the blood of living organisms. This has allowed Polaris to reverse the blood flow in a person rendering them unconscious.

Mental Illness

Lorna suffers from psychotic depression which she treats with antidepressants and antipsychotic medications. Without her medication Lorna may suffer from a number of symptoms including: anxiety, delusions, hallucinations and suicidal tendencies. Her medications have their own side effects.

Combat Inexperience

Before the X-Men and The China Incident, Lorna had had no combat training nor any desire to obtain such skills. Since China she has learned a few things (see Skills/Abilities), but is still lacking in experience.

Family Ties

Though it has't been scientifically proven as of yet (i.e. a DNA test), Lorna Dane is the youngest known offspring of Magneto. Those whom have knowledge of this may have difficulty trusting Lorna and possibly those around her.

Far from an expert martial artist, Lorna has had some self defense training after the China Incident. She'll never be mistaken for a golden glove or black belt, but she can throw a punch without breaking her hand.

Geophysics (incomplete)

Lorna attended the University of Nevada with the desire to study geophysics, but has yet to complete the requirements for a degree. By studying geophysics Lorna thought it could lead to a better understanding of her powers.

Ballet

From the age of four to the age of twelve Lorna took ballet, quitting once her powers manifested. After the X-Men disbanded, Lorna decided to take it up again and trained for nearly two years before once again leaving. Due to her years of dance along with regular exercise, Lorna is more agile and flexible than the 'average' human.

History:

Early Life

Lorna was born twenty years ago to Arnold and Suzanna. Arnold would later learn that Lorna was not his biological daughter, that, in fact, his wife had had a brief affair with another man. He confronted Suzanna while he was flying her and their daughter on his plane. An argument erupted, upsetting the toddler whose desperation to make her parents stop fighting caused an early manifestation of her immense magnetic abilities, which caused a magnetic pulse that destroyed the plane as well as giving her hair its iconic green color. Lorna survived the crash. Her parents did not.

Young Lorna was then adopted by Arnold's sister and brother-in-law, Tamara and Jonathan Dane. She would be raised to believe that the Danes were her real parents. The Danes would regularly dye the girl's hair brunette to shield her from any discrimination. But, poor Lorna was frequently bullied as a child for her often meek and passive nature. After she turned thirteen years old Lorna's mutant abilities began to once again manifest on a day the bullying went too far. Several girls were injured when the lockers in the girls locker room went flying. As more accidents happened around the girl many in the community began to see her as a danger. Some assumed she was an alien. The more devout said she must be possessed. Many others simply called her a monster. It did not take long for certain organizations to take notice.

The Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) chose the civil approach. Two representatives knocked upon the Danes' door and politely introduced themselves. The two agents calmly sat down with the couple and explained their interest in Lorna and her abilities as well as wanting to help the girl learn to control her power. When they left it was with a smile and a handshake.

The CIA chose a different tactic. On Lorna's fourteenth birthday, government agents busted in the door and took the girl away. For six months Lorna was tested, prodded, pushed, and tortured in a secret facility. The young girl was traumatized. She was abused emotionally, mentally and physically. Her poor parents could seemingly do nothing to help their adopted daughter. That is until they found the card left behind by the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Within a couple of days S.H.I.E.L.D. located the secret facility, and moved in to free Lorna and the other poor souls being held there. During the ensuing chaos, Lorna managed to escape mostly on her own. As she fled the building Lorna unexpectedly ran into a man in a wheel chair. He introduced himself as Professor Charles Xavier and he was their to help her.

X-Men / MAGNUS

Xavier opened Lorna to a new world where she learned there were other homo superiors like herself. After spending a few days with her parents, she agreed to go learn and train with Xavier. Lorna ended up being one of the professor's more volatile students with her recent trauma and developing mental illness. Lorna had a few anxiety attacks during her training sessions. She suffered from confidence issues as well as outbursts of sheer rage at the smallest slight. Though she was relieved to be surrounded by others like herself Lorna still felt different as if she still didn't belong.

On a trip to a near by mall Lorna became separated from her new friends. And while alone she ran into a charming and intriguing man. Introducing himself as an old friend of Xavier's, the man chatted Lorna up and professed he too was a mutant. He also confessed that he had been watching Lorna on and off throughout her life. In the parking lot the man showed off his mutant abilities by moving parked automobiles and shopping carts, by stacking and flipping them over. Turned out, he had the same power as Lorna. And why wouldn't he? After all, "I am your father," he dare claimed. He told Lorna that he knew of the suffering she bore as a child. He knew the torment that the CIA put her through. The man that called himself Magneto he was thankful that Professor Xavier had rescued Lorna before he could. But, he also claimed that though he had a good heart, Xavier's view of the world and of humanity wasn't realistic. Magneto stated that not only that mutants were the evolution of mankind, but they were far superior. Once they learned of the existence of homo superior humanity would seek to destroy and/or control all of mutantkind. He referred to what the CIA had done to her as proof.

On that day Lorna left the X-Men to follow Magneto, her father. In their short time together, she learned so much about her powers and advanced for more quickly than she had been with Xavier. For roughly 10 days Lorna finally felt she was right where she belonged. Magneto seemed to be a stern but loving man, and looked to be genuinely wanting to build a father-daughter relationship with her. Yet, as the day of the China Incident neared he began to treat more like a soldier... or a lackey. Magneto had promised humanity would fall, and it would be mankind's own weapons that would start them on the path of extinction. Suddenly, Lorna found herself in an airfield in mainland China with the man that claimed to be her biological father as he was about to use his immense power to start a nuclear war.

Then her old classmates appeared, coming to China to stop Magneto from ending the world as they knew it. Out of shock Lorna fought physically to defend Magneto. He was her father after all. And, she so longed to be a part of a family where she truly fit in. But, common sense brought her to reality, and she quickly sided with the X-Men to stop the Master of Magnetism.

Now

Lorna checked herself into a mental health facility in Nevada some time ago. When the (former?) CIA scientists and agents that had kidnapped her years ago came knocking once again, lives were lost in the skirmishes. Not wanting to be any further burden on her adopted parents or risk the lives of innocents, Lorna decided that, at least for now, the best thing she could do was to lock herself away from the outside world.
