@RumikoOhara Out of curiosity, what would be done with Benny's corpse? Are they buried? Burned?


It's a harsh world but we have no time for burials and burning needs tending so we don't start a wildfire so its sky burial if you're a Trooper or Scout

I know it doesn't sit well with people in our civilized world but in the world of Lasthope it ain't about where you died or where buried but that you are remembered. Our outlook on the Dead is colored by encounters with the Risen, even when they are our own

I figured if the culture stuck with the ceremonies for the dead, there would be an awful lot of nothing being done. Between every Risen put down, and trooper/scout lost in the field that's either a lot of digging, or a really big attention gathering fire.

Makes sense, to me at least, to do the old dog tag memorial (or the like) and leave any body that does not pose a health risk where they lie.

I was reading the byplay about April and Rafe and can't get the thought out of my head that Summer likes to try and sneak up on him. She has never succeeded but the second part of her game is finding him which her birds can do eventually every time she sets them to the task.

Rafe would know that she does her own approved medicinal hydroponic herbs of all sorts; oh and never ask her what is in the smoked sausage just enjoy and know she only drugs people she doesn't like.

She was caught once while searching for wild plants beyond the patrol limits by a couple of pirates and was being drug off as every Scout in the area was ordered to retrieve her. By the time they finally tracked them down both pirates were in convulsions, one was screaming about birds pecking out his eyes and the other was struggling as he tried to remember how to breathe.

I like those thoughts. Summer just gets hotter ;p. And that byplay names the delivery of the package make more sense. And I can't see Rafe as straight cut I think the term is, Mr. Clean he isn't. Who could be in a world like that, you know.

And Amy, Summer is always smiling like some Monalisa when she looks at her and when she looks away its always with an "I know something you don't know" expression.

She is a petite 4 foot 10 and looks a bit like a Pixie needing only pointed ears, but rumors are she's poisonous, always high, and talks to animals; no I mean really talks with them. She lives alone outside of the walls and thinks she can work magic

Summer likes to let most people think she's crazy because people don't credit the insane with sense and that puts her at an advantage.

She cultivates opinions in people even setting up some so that when they talk about her its like they are talking about two different women.

Some days for reasons she speaks only to the Raven and ignores human speech and on others, she chats in Mandarin to the Wongs, German to Petra's mom.

She has from time to time sat and watched Amy since she arrived in Lasthope but she has never tried to talk to her first or be her friend

When the Crazy woman speaks its often in riddles to Amy or smartass retorts

Answer: A little bit from Emergency Response Training.

Question: Am I completely, 100% sure that what I did was right?

Answer: I'm somewhere in the 45% so if anyone spots something wrong, I'll be more than glad to change it. I made sure to scour along on how to properly suture a wound but you know, theoretical knowledge can only get you so far.
