It was created with heat resistant black steel and has the special property in which is gets hotter every 60 seconds. At maximum heat, it will glow blue and upon contact with bare skin, is hot enough to cause 4th degree burns. Shintsume reaches maximum heat after 600 seconds. Appearance: Shintsume is a long chain weapon about 8 yards in length. At the end of the chain is a moderately sized double edged blade which is a yard in length. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【Kekkei Genkai 】Devirusouru (Soul of a Devil) Description: The power of this special technique resides within an ancient seal that was permanently placed upon Chis as a young boy. This seal can only be removed by the user, and cannot be replicated. The power granted with this seal includes the ability to generate and manipulate heat, smoke, and ash. Upon activation, the user will begin to emit a great amount of heat and pressure. Anyone within a 10 yard radius of the user will be able to feel this immense heat/pressure. The user will follow up by expelling smoke/ash from their nose and mouth. The smoke/ash will swirl and envelop the user, and the user's body will also look like it's burning akin to ember. Attempting to touch the user bare-skinned while this technique is active will surely produce burns for foes, making it effective against taijutsu. Also, the user is essentially immune to being burned or suffering damage from foreign fire/heat based techniques; however, against expert fire users, that immunity can be annulled.
Other abilities granted due to this seal include: Fire techniques from the user burn to the hottest degree, carrying a blue color as a result; Speed/power is greatly increased and physical attacks are coupled with burning effects; User can absorb pre-existing heat/smoke and use it as 'fuel' to replenish stamina and energy; expelled smoke/ash infused with his chakra can be controlled by the user completely and they are able to detect movement within the sunstance; and lastly the user can transmute his body into smoke and even move while in 'smoke form' to pass through possible obstacles or avoid threatening attacks. He can only stay in this form for 2 seconds, and it takes 5 more seconds after deactivation until he can use it again (water is able to negate the transmutation; if the smoke area is splashed with water, the user's body will immediately revert back to normal).

The user will begin to build a large amount of energy and heat. The longer the user is still, the more heat that is generated. The user will reach max after 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the heat emitted will no longer increase even if the user is still, but if the user remains still it will also not decrease. If the user decides to move, the heat will drop twice as quickly as it grew. Requires no hand seals.
Name of Technique: Akuma o Konshoku (Touch of a Demon) Type of Jutsu: Nintaijutsu Rank: B Range: Short Nature Type: Kekkai Genkai Description: The user transfers chakra enhanced heat to an object through touch. Based on the amount of chakra exerted with this technique the user can burn inorganic objects to the point where it becomes ash. Some organic objects also can be turned into ash with this technique; things like plants/trees. To be used on a living, breathing being, the victim would have to remain completely still for at least 15 minutes making this impractical to use during combat as it would also leave the user open for attack and most opponents are always on the move. Requires hand seals.

This can be expelled through a punch or even expelled through the user's mouth after the necessary hand seals.
Name of Technique: Haitosu (Ash Toss) Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu Rank: D Range: Long Nature Type: Kekkai Genkai Description: The user manipulates chakra and ash/smoke into an orb shaped projectile that can be thrown and remotely controlled up to 50 yards. This technique has two variations. The first variation includes the projectile bursting into a plume of dark smoke upon impact or activation. The second variation includes the projectile exploding with the force of a single explosive tag upon impact or activation. These orbs require no handseals to form, as they are formed using the smoke already generated from the user's kekkai genkai.
Name of Technique: Inpei Kemuri no Jutsu (Hiding in Smoke Technique) Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu Rank: C Range: N/A Nature Type: Kekkai Genkai Description: The user expels a controlled amount of thick smoke to fill the area. He can fill anywhere up to a small area to an area the size of an arena. The smoke will blind foes, and make it dangerous to even attempt to breathe. Even users of doujutsu will be at a disadvantage as the smoke will even damage any eye if left exposed. This certain smoke is also imbued with the user's chakra, allowing them to monitor any movement within. *Due to Chis' mask, the smoke will not hinder him.

Name of Technique: Yomi no Kaibun Futsuuka: Monban (Hade's Ash Infantry: Gatekeeper) Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu Rank: S(can vary) Range: N/A Nature Type: Kekkai Genkai Description: The success of this technique is dependent on the amount of ashen soldiers created with the original Yomi no Kaibun Futsuuka technique. The ashen soldiers will immediately stop their current actions among activation of this technique, and began to swiftly conjoin to form a large golem of ash big enough to rival a tailed beast(max size). The user will need to be in close proximity somehow with the golem in order to fully control it. Due to it's sheer size, it possesses great strength and can cause mass destruction. The golem can expel smoke/fire much like the user, and also fire sharpened ash projectiles from various points of it's body. Appearance below.

This blast on contact can cause up to 3rd degree burns, and broken bones at max strength if a victim fails to properly defend themselves(anything less will be specified IC).

Obviously he tends to stand out in a crowd due to this fact. He towers over even the largest of normal men, having been born with a peculiar set of genetics. His shark-like appearance leads others to be wary of him, and he uses that to his advantage well. His body is of peak physical condition stacked with toned muscle, his veins showing from his neck down his arms. With blue-grey skin, his appearance sticks out even further from normal humans. Like most members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, his teeth are pointed like a shark's. He wears the typical black attire of the Akatsuki minus the mask (seen below) with the only modification being a black sash to hold Samehada in place on his back.

He is quite sadistic by nature, most of those who have met him and lived to tell the tale have reported an utter lack of empathy or compassion for anything. Most would say he only exists to cause chaos and ruin the world. The saying "Some men just want to watch the world burn" fits him quite well. This is all just what he appears to be on the surface, however, as Sano is quite the deep thinker at heart. He has seen what the world has to offer, he has seen the love a family can bring to one another and has decided there is no use for it. There is certainly something off about him, somewhere inside his head the natural functions of emotion have been lost on him, and he has effectively killed that part of him in favor of a more primal, survivalist mentality.
Of all of the people he has been partnered with, he normally kills and eats them for being too weak to be considered on his level. Of the few that were strong enough to contend with him, or that he was forced to work with, none have ever matched his lust for blood. Due to this, he considers his opponents very lucky that he is forced to have self-restraint in battle.
As a child, Sano never had a place in this world. He was bullied by others for the color of his skin and his monstrous appearance. Due to this he was an outcast, and over time he grew to accept this about himself and never tried to be someone he wasn't just to fit in. He was a loner his entire life, but he liked it better this way. To him, this was just more evidence to prove that he was born an apex predator of the world. His attitude is of a constant hunger for power and development. He is never strong enough, never fast enough, never good enough for himself. He can always be better than what he is now. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【History】 Sano was born during the times where Kirigakure was under the former title of Chigiri no Sato, the Hidden Village of the Bloody Mist. It was during these times where bloodshed was commonplace and danger lurked around every corner. It was every man, woman and child for themselves and there were only two kinds of people in the Land of Water: sharks and their prey. Sangetsu learned that lesson quickly and made his name as a shark even as a boy. Sano's mother was a member of the Hoshigaki clan who defected from Kirigakure. His father, patriarch of the Hozuki Clan, was the one dispatched to capture or kill her as she possessed information that could have been very detrimental to Kirigakure. When his father found his mother and they inevitably fought, his father found the most ruthless, unforgiving Kunoichi he had ever fought. He fell in love with her passion and love for battle and so he brought her back to the village and used his influence as head of the Hozuki clan to pardon her for defection. The two had a single child, Sangetsu, who grew up a victim of bullying and a born outcast due to his grotesque appearance. Having fallen in love with his mother of similar appearance, his father never thought less of his son due ot this. However, he would not accept weakness. And during his early years Sano was soft and weakened by his loneliness. Eventually he grew to own it, and was taught by his mother that he was different because he was a born apex predator, destined for greatness.
And in a way she was right. The bullying toughened him up, and he eventually began overpowering his peers with his superior size once he grew into his own. He cared not for the so-called comrades that tormented him growing up. He became a ruthless, cold-blooded animal with no sense of mercy or morality. Everything was fair game, no tactic too dirty or too outlandish. Torture was a game and the battlefield was home. He knew not the concept of love even among his clan, but desire made its way into his heart and latched on tight. Yet what he did know was passion; a passion for battle and blood and carnage. When he became a Shinobi and graduated the academy, he was top of his class in combat skill, and did not bother to complete any written portions of the exams. After completing several missions as a Genin with his comrades, the time came when a fellow Kirigakure Genin was held captive by the enemy who held valuable intel on Kirigakure. There was no hesitation in Sangetsu's mind, he impaled the enemy by going through his comrade, murdering him. He immediately became a menace to his peers. They knew not if they could trust him, and he sure as Hell didn't trust them. The parents of his peers taught their children that his mother was a whore and a traitor because she tried to defect from the village. Because of this his peers grew to resent him and taunt him and his mother. This did not sit well with him, and one day Sano murdered one of his Genin peers for calling his mother a whore. These were the times of the Hidden Blood Mist, and such things were commonplace. Sano was revered by his clan as a true Shinobi and was welcomed by the village as a sturdy young prospect for the future.
And then it happened. The incident that set him on his path of loneliness. During the Chuunin exams the higher ups of Kirigakure gave him the green light to 'have fun'. Sano took this to heart and his eyes lit up with a fierce hunger that had followed him since birth. When the exams rolled around Sano bullied one of the other students into stealing the answers to the test for him. He passed onto the next portion where they were thrown into the forest and pitted against each other. This... is where the unexpected occurred... You see, Sano had not yet learned the value of self control. Sano reached the middle of the forest with a plethora of bloodstained scrolls at his fingertips. A trail of bloody footsteps lay in his wake, bodies scattered throughout the forest. Sano himself was decorated with cuts and bruises, whether most of it was his own blood or the enemy's was unknown... or.. his comrades?
The Jounin asked how he had made it there in such short time all by himself.. with so many scrolls.. The Jounin counted the number of scrolls he had brought with him, as Sano was merely leaning against a wall, panting and dripping blood on the wall yet saying nothing. "That... that can't be... This is... all of them... they're ALL here..." The Jounin stuttered in disbelief as the rest of the Jounin checked the forest and found nothing but the bodies of enemy Genin.. and Sangetsu's allies as well. He showed no mercy to anyone, and on that night Kirigakure knew their demon was born. On this day that the Mizukage himself recognized Sangetsu's potential, and revered him as a hero.
But not everyone was as thrilled as the blood-crazed Mizukage. His father caught a lot of flak for the fact that Sano had just slaughtered every single Genin in his age range that entered the Chuunin exams. Many important clans' sons and daughters were killed in this ritual of blatant murder. They plotted against the Hozuki clan, and if his father were to live through this, he had to sacrifice his only son to repent. Well, Sano's mother caught word of this and tried to warn her son. She was labeled a traitor and killed before she could warn him. When it was learned that his wife was a traitor, the burden of killing Sano was forcibly put upon his own father. Either his father put down the monster of a son that had stained the Hozuki name, or they would both die by the hands of angry villagers. The result was Sano murdering his own father without remorse after learning that his father allowed his mother to die and that he had willingly given Sano's life as tribute to save his reputation.
During the battle with his father, he inherited one of the blades of the Seven Swordsman, Samehada, as the sentient blade prefered Sano over his father. Sano was exiled from his homeland and shortly after his departure the era of Chigiri no Sato was put to rest after the villagers saw the embodiment of that brutal mentality put to the extreme in Sano. They feared what would happen to them all if they fostered those ideals and allowed that kind of behavior to run rampant in their village. This was how the Mizukage of Chigiri no Sato was ousted and Kirigakure was born.
For decades after that Sano was nothing more than a killer-for-hire with no place in the world. He lost the only place he had ever felt at home. The Bloody Mist was the only place that embodied his ideals, and that place did not exist anymore. He had no home, and his shark-like longevity subjected him to a life of loneliness for decades. Eventually he was captured and imprisoned in the highest security prison the Land of Water had to offer. It was here he rotted away for several more decades until thirty years ago he met a man by the name of Seijuro Kizaru Nandate who did not judge him by his appearance and embraced his primal nature. Seijuro was the one who broke into the prison just to free him from his shackles in exchange for his services, which Sano gladly obliged for the return of his freedom. At this time he joined Seijuro who promised him a place to call home where he could truly be himself. He followed Seijuro who used him as a tool, which Sano knew very well and was comfortable with this, and together the two took over Kirigakure and reinstated the lawlessness of Chigiri no Sato during the Second Great War. Sangetsu was the de facto Mizukage during the war until Seijuro was sealed, shortly after Sano's regime was put to an end, he was captured and sentenced to death, but every time they tried to kill him he would not die. No matter what they did, they could not end the life of this mosnter. Fearing what he would do to them in retaliation, they opted instead to imprison him in the highest security prison in all of the Land of Water and restrain him in every possible way, but with Samehada fused into his body, they could not remove that from his possession.
Twenty years have passed since Sano has terrorized the world of Shinobi so the new generation has no idea of the fear he inspired in the hearts of Shinobi worldwide. His notoriety extends far outside of Kirigakure and the older generations of the other four villages will be keen on remembering just how much devastation and destruction he caused when he was released from prison the first time. 【Special Traits】 Sangetsu appears much younger than he actually is due to his shark-like physique, and due to his snarky sharkness he ages much slower than your average human. He's renowned in Kirigakure as one of the most skilled Water users in the country in the sense that he is capable of performing high level water techniques with little to no water source with limited hand seals. Sangetsu is one of the most infamous Hunter-nin known for his ability to track and kill prey in a manner most brutal. His physical specimen is one to be awed at, his greatest attribute being his durable size and magnificent strength. His endurance and stamina strike fear into the hearts of his enemies who simply cannot fathom how a man can fight as ruthlessly as Sangetsu without stopping for anything. Name: Kakoku Jomyaku no Jutsu (River Valley Vein Technique) Rank: B Range: Self Type: Nintaijutsu Nature: Water Release Handseals: One-handed Tiger to activate Description: Using the Hydration Technique the user bulks up their physical body by pumping their muscles full of excess water, enlarging them to the point where the user's body is a steel fortress capable of withstanding extensive physical damage and granting the user superhuman strength. Using a nearby water source to facilitate this technique is advisable otherwise the user risks exhaustion with only one use.
The user's blood will boil over time and pressure will build within the user as the battle rages on, causing an aura of steam to exude off the user. After the aura of steam has built up the user is then free to release the pressure at will through their pores in the form of intensely hot steam. Sangetsu has found it very potent to compress the steam into pockets to be released in shockwaves when he strikes, though it takes a few seconds to form another steam pocket, making them practical yet not ample in quantity. Weakness: Controlling the balance of moisture within one's body means this technique is no simple feat, which means that when Sangetsu uses this technique he is looking at about a minute or two, maybe two and a half minutes maximum before he cannot maintain it, though he often exhausts the built up pressure before the time runs out, causing the technique to end prematurely. The secret to this technique is simple. The more steam Sangetsu uses, the more water his body is losing, causing two things to happen from there. The more water that is leaving his body as he attacks using the pressurized steam, the more susceptible Sangetsu becomes to damage as the water is what is keeping his muscles as hard as steel. Secondly, Sangetsu is losing water from his body causing dehydration. Because this technique is very powerful both offensively and defensively at different times, the entire process of this technique is very taxing on the user's chakra and thus once all the pressure is used up and the user's body returns to normal, it is not sensible to enter this form in succession as if the chakra cost were not enough, it leaves the user physically fatigued after a single use, multiple uses easily ending in exhaustion if a source of water is not found. Also, using the steam attacks excessively causes damage to the user's pores with occasional bleeding.
Name: Hadoutsuki (Surge Thrust) Rank: C-A Range: 0-25 yards Type: Nintaijutsu Nature: Water Release Handseals: None Description: Sangetsu's most basic attack, and one of his most subtle. He attacks the space in front of him, directing a surge of chakra directed through his palm, causing all the moisture in the air to converge inward at drastic speeds to create a pressurized burst of water at the target. This technique uses water vapors as a medium to transfer the force, meaning the more water in the area, the deadlier technique. Sangetsu has stated that if he were in the ocean underwater fighting an opponent this attack would be lethal. Weakness: As the water vapor converges on the opponent most are unaware until the bubble of water is upon them and ready to burst. As the water vapor travels to its target to form the bubble there is a delay between when the bubble hits its target and when it bursts, giving observant foes a small window to react.
Name: Mizugokoro (Heart of Water) Rank: A Range: Ten yards Type: Ninjutsu Nature: Water Release Handseals: One-handed Tiger Description: Once activating the technique via hand seal a puddle of water will collect at the user's feet from the moisture in the air and cover ten yards in every direction around the user. Within the boundaries of this puddle, Sangetsu has total molecular control of all water. This excludes all water in the body of a person or animal. This requires a focused state of concentration for accurate manipulation, meaning the user must remain stationary for several seconds in order to form the puddle required for manipulation. Within these boundaries Sangetsu can bend the water into any shape he wishes and change its state of matter from liquid into either steam or ice, and back to liquid. With this technique the user can alter their own water techniques as they use them to alter the shape or state of matter of the water they create by adding in a few extra hand seals into the Jutsu's preparation. Weakness: The ice is no where near as durable as true Ice Release techniques and the steam does not harbor the corrosive traits of a true Boil Release user. Besides requiring several seconds of standing still like a sitting duck just to get this technique going, once the puddle has formed the user is free to move about the puddle, though their influence over water will not exceed the bounds of the puddle and they are bound to remain within the parameters of the puddle lest this technique should fail.
Name: Uzushio Tenouchi (Whirling Tide Palm) Rank: B Range: Melee Type: Nintaijutsu Nature: Water Release Handseals: Tiger-Bird-Ox-Snake-Boar Description: The user guides the moisture in the vicinity surrounding them into a rotating shuriken of compressed water that is thrust or thrown into an opponent, causing pressurized water damage and spiral-shaped lacerations upon the target. When spinning the water pressure of the shuriken is great enough to cut clean through earth and steel. Weakness: The technique loses some of its power when thrown and is much more deadly when launched directly into a foe.
Name: Samegawa Sandan Ju (Sharkskin Shotgun) Rank: A Range: Long Type: Ninjutsu Nature: Water Handseals: None Description: Allowing multiple drops of compressed water to form on one or both of the user's hands via the Hydration Technique, they proceed to then whip the droplets of water at high speeds at the target with the same piercing ability as the Water Gun Technique. The attack would flow through them and send them flying from the backlash, though there would be a short delay between when the user makes contact and when the blow is received. This technique is especially dangerous because it breezes past outward defenses and will cause internal bleeding from its effect on the water in the human body. For the Light Weight Rock Technique, no flying. I realize it's a minor thing, but it's a thing. No flight. For the ability to turn into smoke, you may want to increase the risk a bit. Like what can injure the user when they're smoke. Maybe consider increasing the cooldown if you can't come up with a balanced weakness to effectively turning into air.

Pseudo Human Form -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【Personality】 Chikyū when he was younger was quite the trickster and enjoyed everything about life. He loved his fellow neighbors and always looked at the brightside of life. When his people started to gain power through the teachings of Ninshu, they started to fight each other. Blood was being spilled and it saddened Chikyu. He wanted to get stronger and that’s why he began training with the Snakes of Ryuchi Cave. After his transformation, he saw the true fear and hate of humanity. He felt personally destroyed that because he looked differently that he was met with so much hate.
He hated them for that. He hated humanity for so long, he stewed in that hatred while humanity flourished. After becoming the King of the Snakes, Chikyu decided to look at humanity again to see if he could forgive them for his mistreatment. What he had seen was amazing. It seemed that they have gotten passed their hatred of the unknown and decided maybe it was time for him to show them the truth of the Dragon myths.
When humanity was young and budding after the introduction of Ninshu, the legendary Toads of Mount Myoboku were soon found. Contracts were soon made with the Toads and the birth of the first Sages came soon after. The practices of the Sages were soon given the name Senjutsu. The early humans decided to see if there were any other sources of the Senjutsu teachings other than the Toads of Mount Myoboku and that’s when the Snakes of Ryuchi Caves were found. Some of the humans went to the Snakes to learn Senjutsu after they were denied by the Toads. They were greeted openly by the devious Snakes. They pushed their human students to transcend their humanity and become a hybrid of the two. It was a trap though, the Snakes promised that they would remain their human appearance but that was far from the truth. Four humans pushed themselves passed the threshold and as a result they began to mutate.
One of these Sages was named Chikyū Doragon, he believed that with the power of the Snake Sages that they could transcend their humanity and usher in a new era for the budding race. He was too trusting in the devious Snakes. As Chikyu and the other three embraced the teachings of the Snakes, they started to notice subtle changes. Such as the flaking on skin, and the slight discoloring of skin. By time they noticed the horns forming on their head it was too late. Chikyu and the other Sages barely looked anything like their original human forms. Chikyu had been working with Snakes more than the other so his change was even greater. He grew by leaps and bounds, his body elongated like that of a Snake. His horns grew even bigger and there was nothing left of his humanity. He wasn’t like the Snakes either, Chikyu mutated to that beyond what a snake was. His arms and legs grew talon and doubled in size.
He fled the Ryuchi Cave to warn his people of the devious nature that the Snakes concealed. When he arrived people began to run from him, they gathered arms and tried to attack the former human. Chikyu fled from his people and gathered the four other Sages. He told them of what happened, and said that they should go into hiding. The others agreed, but to make sure that they weren’t tracked they split up. One went in each of the cardinal directions. North, South, East and West. The villagers searched for the mysterious creature that appeared before them but couldn’t find a trace. Needing a name for this creature, they came up with the name Dragon. After many decades the story of the Dragons became a myth that parents told their children before bedtime. The only ones that knew the truth were the Snakes of Ryuchi Cave and the Four Cardinal Dragons.
Chikyu had went South to hid from the hunters and while in hiding, he worked diligently to figure out how to make himself appear human again. When he changed forms, he gained increased longevity. After an extended period of time, he finally managed to make himself somewhat appear human allowing him to travel out in the world. Soon after reappearing, he went back to Ryuchi cave and made sure that no one would befall the same fate that he and his Sage incurred. After another extended period of time, Chikyu became the master of the Snakes of Ryuchi Cave. Effectively becoming the King of the Dragon Sages. After becoming King of the Dragons, Chikyo made appearances in the world of humanity so he could see how his old people had flourished. He never made interactions with them due to the fact, he didn’t appear human enough not to cause a stir. So Chikyu watched from a distance.

Name: Sage Dragon Art: Serpent of the Sky Rank: A Range: Mid-Long Range Nature: Lightning Type: Senjutsu Effect: A superior version of the traditional Lightning Release: Lightning Dragon Technique. By using Senjutsu the user creates a superior dragon, channeling a very element of lightning in a way few can face. The impact is said to be like real lightning, nearly instantaneous. The jutsu's speed makes it one of the greatest mid to long range jutsu in that regard, as only truely skilled shinobi can dodge it. Due to the small number of handseals required, the user can fire a volley of about one dragon a second, making it powerful, but exhausting to use. This technique is impossible unless the user is in dragon sage mode, and despite its power it still has a clear disadvantage against wind techniques. Size-wise, it's no bigger than the usual lightning dragon technique, making up for it by being fast as a bolt.

Unlike the speed one can brag about for Serpent of the Sky, Serpent of the Sea boasts superior size to its counterpart. Comparisons can be made to a tidal wave, or a storm that tears through buildings. There are some who suggest this technique may be the reason behind legends of divine floods that wipe away corrupt villages. This technique has a great deal of power and size, but suffers drastically in the speed category. Noticeably slower than the traditional water dragon, it instead relies on sheer coverage, and power.
Name: Sage Dragon Art: Converging Song of the Sea and Sky Rank: S Range: Close/Medium Nature: Raiton/Suiton Type: Senjutsu Effect: By mixing Raiton and Suiton chakra natures they can breath a concentrated torrent of pressurized water infused with lightning that mirrors the image of a dragon breathing fire. The jutsu itself is extremely powerful, and moves at a moderate speed. If one is agile enough they can dodge it with little or no effort. This jutsu is only usable by a true Dragon Sage. Even Chikyu can only use this jutsu when he is in his true form.
Name: Sage Dragon Art: Valley of Ryūjin Rank: S Range:Long Nature: Raiton/Suiton Type: Senjutsu Effect: While in True Dragon Sage mode the user either flies into the clouds and begins to infuse the clouds in the area to cause an artificial thunderstorm. After infusing enough chakra the storm becomes unstable and bolts of lightning begin to strike the encompassing area. The biggest downside of this jutsu is that even the user isn’t safe from the sporadic lightning.

【Personality】 A figure showing nothing but authority with just his stature. Gozubura is a professional man with a keen attachment to the values of discipline and obedience to higher order. Raised a military man, he swears by the soldier's way of life, by that perspective. A man with a global vision, that of a leader, one ready to sacrifice the few to save the many, this applying to those that follow him, and even to himself. He is by no means a hypocrite in his ideals, but by devotion to his core beliefs, is even willing to sacrifice his own values for what he deems to be a greater good.
Gozubura is an evidently scarred man, one that had lost purpose once war had become archaic in the world he lived in. Marked by the gargantuan conflict that had taken so much twenty years back, and where he was at his prime. He did not crave the killing, the hatred, the anger, but he craved the experience, the fulfillment, the grounds in which he was worth as much as the most gifted. His inability to return to a normal lifestyle has led him to pursue an endlessly destructive path, one he sees as 'the right one'.
He is a crude, and overly serious. Humor is something he has forgotten about, with the exception of a few witty comments on a situation. He does particularly enjoy making situations uncomfortable for friends and foes alike, without any humility when it comes to his desires and expectations. He is very obviously unscrupulous, rarely showing any hesitation when disciplining his followers with nothing less than death as a display of power.

【History/Background】 Little is known about Gozubura's past within Kumogakure. He wasn't an orphan, and had never made a name for himself until the war brought forth by Seijuro. A man without any special talents, another shinobi in the fold. A few exploits in missions here and there, but his name never went beyond the managers handling the distribution of average grade tasks. He was never really dissatisfied with his life, as he had always seen it through the lenses of the average shinobi, destined for infantry. No family of his own, other than a parent he'd take care of in his twenties and with whom he'd enjoy games of Gungi with.
Then would come the dreaded war. With his education and seniority as a shinobi, Starru had been allowed the rank of commander of a battalion of both Genin and Chuunin. As stressful as the task was, he was capable of leading his men to far more victories than losses, and make a new for himself. His ability to manage others was something overlooked by both those that utilized his skills, and himself. Gozubura had needed a war to find his vocation. Promotion to one of the rare Colonel came swiftly, as Seijuro was to be soon confronted to Jaakuna Aka. By then, it was Starru's task to take down any remaining allies of the malicious being.
It would be one of Seijuro's followers, Gorandis, that'd be confronted to the still uncertain, thirty year old Gozubura. The growing war champion would lose an eye, but not without taking the head of the antagonistic force. With this exploit, and the war ending with the deaths of both Seijuro and Jaakuna, and the fall of one of Kumo's higher Jonin, that Gozubura would have the recognition he was brought to believe he deserved. General Starru, war hero of Kumo, and a potential heir to the Kage throne.
With years of self improvement, he would easily surpass others without the need to resort to taking shortcuts, or relying on the power of strong beings. He was convinced that if he were to transcend the limits of man, he would be able to re-live this sensation of authority, of completion he had lived during the war.
But it never came. The world became stable, and while he did evolve beyond what was considered normal for a human, he found no use for it. Kumogakure had become a dull hole in which he could only regress to the incarnation of mediocrity he once was. The role of Kage, one owned by a man with no unique talent? A 'war hero' few people want to be reminded of? The disillusion came quickly, it was not here that Gozubura would be whole. He needed to see the world, take it by the horns, and build himself.
Leaving the cloud village made him quite the wanted man, especially with his final fight with the previous Raikage. No one died, but his Calamity jutsu had seen the world for the first time, and caused far too many casualties even for his taste. A message was sent to his people, that he was not to be found again, under the threat of a new storm brewed by the bitter, dreaded General. He'd go about founding his own para-military group, and would perform mercenary tasks for various nations, including some from the big ones. While wanted by Kumo, networking had kept Starru from being actively sought after. His power grew, as he fought individuals from different regions, and observed how recruits to his initiative used their own, distinct power.
Reasons as to why he currently affiliates himself to the Akatsuki are unknown. He is said to be the one delivering key strategic intelligence on large Nations, due to his positions in the past, and access via his grown networks.

Name: Calamity Rank: S+ Range: All Nature: Earth, Fire, Lightning, Water, Wind Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Using all the accumulated knowledge gained in his life, Gozubura's final ability will be none other than a perfected amalgamation of his acquired abilities. Also known as the 'Perfect Being' or 'The Homunculus', this jutsu is one that had Kumogakure fear this man during his betrayal.
The Technique commences with Gozubura sacrificing half of his maximum chakra, refined over the years with master control to reduce this cost, in order to conjure a storm of violent winds, thunder, rain ash and quakes. For a single post afterward, the land is in turmoil, with even Gozubura mostly unable to use anything. But then, it will calm, with all the excess power used to created this natural catastrophe focusing on one single point as if a singularity of raw power had been made. Born out of it, a being so bright it could blind those who stare at it too long. Bearing similarities to Gozubura, it'd seem to be a variation of his clone jutsu mastery.
This 'Golem' is swift, inspired from the Joki Boi from Kirigakure but with less penchants toward exploding, with movements far too inhuman to not leave a few flabbergasted. As if it has no bones, it can contort itself to perform unnatural movements and deliver superhuman-level physical hits. With its flattened palm, it can cut through rock, and even un-enhanced blades while clashing with the enhanced. Its physical might is easily compared to Tsunade's coupled with high speeds (nothing LRA tier, but enough to be catch even experienced people off guard).
No element can hurt it, as every elemental attack is countered with an equal amount of power from the superior element. However it is unable to use elemental transformations beyond a purely defensive position, and will instead constantly run after what it considers enemies. Physical damage will slow it down, but it will heal from the environment. Genjutsu only temporarily disorients it, but will quickly be useless.
10% of the chakra used on this thing can be returned to Gozubura if he wishes to stop it. However physical strains remain. Weakness: The only way to kill it is to have Gozubura knocked out/Killed/having him remove it. Gozubura is left quite tired after this jutsu, over sacrificing half his reserves. He is unable to cast clones or replicate anything when this jutsu is active. Most a 'Plot Epic' jutsu, this isn't some jutsu I'll use to lolsteamroll people I don't like.
Name: The Great Endeavor Rank: S Range: Personal Nature: N/A Type: Fighting Style Effect: It is often called "Chakra Mastery". Lacking any unique talent, efforts were put to perfect control over chakra, to the point where very precise manipulations of one's prowess becomes an automatism. Gozubura has gained the ability to user one handed seals, albeit with double the need for hand sign input if utilized, as well as the ability to divide chakra as he wishes in his jutsu. This is particularly useful for Shadow clones, where he no longer needs to perfectly halve his chakra, but instead meticulously confer the right amount needed for a specific task. Weakness: N/A
Name: Gallery Fake Rank: A Range: Personal Nature: N/A Type: Ninjutsu Effect: By touching something with one hand, Gozubura is capable of making up to two replicas with his opposing hand. They act as 'clones', albeit they don't have to disappear upon being damaged. They will vanish within an hour, and cannot replicate unique characteristics to, say, an artifact. Straightforward on objects, but another case on people, or even clones. When copying living beings in general, they will only be able to follow simple orders, over the more complex abilities of clones. But in exchange, they cannot be stopped without having their 'brain' disconnected from the body. These bodies look identity to normal bodies, with dojutsu seeing chakra in them, even if it is, in reality, minimal. Up to fifty fakes can be made, until the first ones poof for new ones. Weakness: Cannot replicate anything unique, like some legendary sword. Copied living beings have the physical prowess of low grade genin. Cannot copy giant creatures or objects.
Name: Doomsday Seal Rank: A Range: Personal - 50 Meters Nature: N/A Type: Juinjutsu Effect: A malicious seal that utilizes just a small bit of chakra of the victim. The seal resembles a single eye with a tear dropping down. Applying it requires contact from the user, skin contact if it were to infect the person, otherwise only the clothing would be affected. The effect of this seal is simple, if a an object or body with this seal hits another, the seal explodes. Quite damaging, especially if the one affected by the seal is the victim. The explosions are slightly stronger than paper bombs, with a few of those together capable of maiming pretty hard. Weakness: Removing the Juinjutsu in battle is difficult, but can be done by removing the flesh around it.
Name:Fire Release: Shadow Clone Rank: A Range: 25m Explosion range Nature: Fire Type: Ninjutsu Effect: A shadow clone born out of the use of Fire nature transformation chakra. The clone acts like any other clone, with the ability to utilize fire jutsu. Once killed, it will detonate in a fiery explosion, spreading a viscous fluid designed to stick onto flesh and fabric, similar to napalm. The potential damage is large depending on the distance of the targets. Weakness: Same as most shadow clones.
Name: Fire Release: Great Purge Rank: A Range: All Nature: Fire Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: With a set of three hand seals, Gozabura unleashes a wave of flames from his mouth. The form it takes can be multiple projectiles, a wave, a more lengthy but thinner beam, fireball, etc. The unique characteristic of this ability is the odd fluid hurled with it, a sticky substance similar to napalm. While water can smother the flames, the substance is lighter than water and will allow flames to reign over stable waters. With an added hand seal, Gozabura is capable of accentuating the strength of the flames by increasing the potency of the fluid remotely. He can even push it to simulate an explosion (it will have the potency of an explosive tag). Weakness: Water release, whatever can sponge the fluid.
Name: Fire Release: Overheat Rank: B Range: Up to 150 meters Nature: Fire release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: With a held Dragon hand seal, Gozabura is capable of coating his being with an ephemeral, hot aura. It would take a few second before one could notice steam emitting from his body. Held for a good ten seconds before releasing his hand, the effects would become apparent at this point. His body will start to emit an immense amount of heat, which will be felt in about 150 meters radius around him. Water release abilities lose around 10% potency, while Wind related abilities are quick to become uncoordinated and swiftly ascend high over the intended direction. Individuals staying in this heat for long risk dizziness, heat strokes and mirage effects, though only if exposed for a significant amount of time. On the other hand, fire abilities tend to spread faster due to the very dry air. Weakness: Requires constant feeding of chakra, as well as the risk of Gozabura himself suffering from heat-related ailments in about 5 posts after use. May depend on the pace of the fight and abilities involved.
Name:Earth Release: Shadow Clone Rank: A Range: Close Nature: Earth Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: A clone made of mud and earth, capable of the same physical feats as the original but unable to use any jutsu. It compensates this with an inability to be 'destroyed', as it will explode into mud and re-assemble upon destruction. The mud and earth are both stick and heavy, making it propice to ensnare foes. The clone is, however, capable of travelling underground as would a user of 'hiding like a mole' would. Weakness: Upon destruction, it takes a full two posts for it to reform. Lightning release completely nullifies the regeneration.
Name: Earth Release: Seismic Maneuver Rank: A Range: 200m Radius Nature: Earth Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Five hand seals in, and Gozabura punches the earth, prompting an overwhelmingly strong earthquake spanning for about a kilometer in radius. It is short, however, and impacts the fight very little, however 200 meters from the epicenter would find the earth massively cracked and slightly divided. An advanced version of the 'Moving Earth core' would be the best way to describe this ability, for Gozabura will now hold a certain degree of control over the area. With three hand seals, he is capable of following up with a stomp or punch to the earth below him, and cause a selected area to either rise or sink, as long as it is within the affected radius. He is also capable of having the same earth move in other direction for various purposes, such as mobility or crushing enemies between walls. Weakness: A lot of chakra is used up, and the earth remains rather easy to damage as it is not enhanced. Harder methods to counter are usually supplementary.
Name: Earth Release: Mineral Bulk Rank: B Range: Personal Nature: Earth Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Similar to the Earth Spear, the use of this jutsu is to enhance one's skin for an upgrade in offense and defense. Although instead of using from nothing, Gozabura siphons minerals from the earth below him and them refined with his chakra and distributed to his skin. Movement is hampered by this jutsu, but he will not be immobile. In exchange, the defense is not absolute, and can fall to repeated assaults. He can localize the enhancement to reduce the overall toll, and even enhance himself physically to deliver more damaging blows. Weakness: Lightning Style. Same as Earth Spear.
Name:Lightning Release: Shadow Clone Rank: A Range: Close Nature: Lightning Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: A shadow clone out of lightning chakra. Like the fire release, it can use lightning jutsu, but it's main power comes from its death. Once slain, it will revert into lightning, and shock whatever is nearby. Damage is moderate to low, with at most some severe burns if there is physical contact. The explosion of electricity is about 10 meters. Though damage is low, a quick stun occurs when it happens, which will very much leave victims open. Weakness: Like most shadow clones.
Name: Lightning Release: Super-Charged Invasion Rank: A Range: Close Nature: Lightning Release Type: Ninjutsu - Taijutsu Effect: While similar to the Lightning Release Armour, Gozabura's odd, yellow cloak does not confer the same capabilities. This ability offers no boost in strength or defenses, but does give a significant augmentation in reflexes and pinpoint targeting. Though it does not stop there, with his speed knowing only a minor enhancement, he compensates with his strikes being minimal in build up while remaining efficient. Small knocks from his knuckles and even his fingertips will have a certain amount of electricity forced into the being of his opponent, and attempt to damage their nerves. While not strong enough to do lasting damage, he is capable of numbing limbs with a strike. Hitting the body will cause respiratory problems and a loss in performance, while a hit in the head will downright stun the enemy. Weakness: Effect lasts only for the opponent's next post if successfully landed. They do not accumulate, however multiple limbs can be hit. The strike must fully land, a simple touch or grazing won't do it.
Name: Lightning Release: Discharge Rank: B Range: 1m-30m Nature: Lightning Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Gozabura holds a hand seal (one or two hands), prompting a visible accumulation of charges in the air being pulled toward him as if preparing for an attack. If this ability is unleashed the same post it is prepared, the Discharge will take the form of a blue sphere surrounding Gozabura and extending up to five meters. Minor burns are afflicted to those hit, and a slight pushback as well. If it is held for an extra post, the blast radius will go up to 20m's, though if kept within 5 meters, it will have a much strong pushback and damage (bigger burns). The effects of this 'discharge' is to prompt a shockwave, and repulse all physical objects in its range. The lightning nature of this attack makes it particularly strong at compromising Earth Release Structures. Weakness: 3 post cooldown, predictable charge time, even in the quick release.
Name: Lightning Release: Enhancement Rank: C Range: Close - Middle Nature: Lightning Release Type: Ninjutsu - Kenjutsu Effect: A lightning version of the weapon enhancement jutsu. Provides the effects of usual enhancement, being able to cut through stronger materials, and seemingly 'burning' through the more robust ones. Though it does not end there. The user can also hurl crescent shaped projectiles linearly. They do not cut, but once colliding with something, they will divide into multiple pieces and attempt to ensnare the nearest chakra source in a net of electricity, providing a minor stun in the process. Weakness: Can be broken out with sheer force, 'short circuited' with metallic tools (will cause a little bit of damage), wind release completely cancels the projectile.
Name: Lightning Release: Shell Shock Rank: B Range: Middle Nature: Lightning Release - Yin Release Type: Genjutsu Effect: Charging lightning chakra in his hand, Gozabura would perform a strong clap, and cause a large shockwave of blue electricity to travel through the entire field. The wave is thick, high and moves rather quickly (can be narrowly avoided). Those hit would feel a slight tingling feeling on their abdomen, before they'd get a sudden sensation of formication on their feet and legs, and losing sensation in the process. This sensation quickly rises through their spine, and ends up having their vision blur before they know it. The blurry vision is in tandem the intensity of the tingling, off-putting sensations on their legs and spine, as if there is something crawling in their body, and they can see it through their eyes. It is a genjutsu, a highly distracting one prompted by a weak bolt of lightning channeled by the over-the-top shockwave. The goal is to have the enemy thing they've been struck by a powerful blast and their nervous system is compromised. Weakness: Genjutsu weakness. Note: This ability was made by Gozabura to hinder precision dojutsu users. Advanced sensors can discern this.
Name:Water Release: Liquid Clone Rank: A Range: All Nature: Water Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Using the basics of the Water Clone jutsu, Gozubura is capable of creating a clone able to divide itself. Whether from free will, or by being struck. This can only be done once per clone. Added to that, similar to the Hozuki, they are capable of liquefying themselves once during their whole existence. Finally, the only jutsu they are capable of utilizing beyond physical approaches is the Water Prison technique, an ability the original can also mimic. Weakness: Only two can be out at the same time, and a clone can only divide into two, once. Extra amounts of chakra have to be added into order to mimic the effects of the water form, more than a normal clone able to use jutsu.
Name:Water Release: Ocean's Fury Rank: A Range: All Nature: Water Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Similar to the exploding water colliding wave jutsu, the user expels water from their mouths or drastically increase the water level of a large enough water source in order to flood the battlefield with a gargantuan wave. Once crashed, the stable water is for anyone to use, however Gozubura is capable of, with a certain amount of hand signs, manipulate the water currents and cause large waves to form in specific areas, and the levels to decrease in others as if it were a storm. Weakness: Most movement of the water can be ignored with walking on water. The waves do not directly harm.
Name:Water Release: Leviathan's Rise Rank: A Range: Can go up to 250 meters Nature: Water Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: With the proper quick seals, the user can conjure a water dragon bullet from existing water, or with extra chakra, one out of the moisture in the air. The difference in this version, however, is that the 'tail' of the dragon will remain linked to the user's arm, and guided by movements of his index and major fingers. The Dragon will ceaselessly follow the guidance of the user, and with its jaw can lock quite the powerhouses. The worst would be the amount of water pressure applied on the victim as they'd stuck against a surface. Gozubura can use this technique to rope in an enemy, of swiftly fling himself right at them. It can also be combined with his Lightning release to add some intensity to it. Weakness: Unable to cast other jutsu (other than adding lightning) while this is active, one handed or not. He is committed to this jutsu, and will have to wait 4 posts to cast it again once removed. A sufficiently strong blast can destroy it, paper bombs are not sufficient.
Name: Water Release: Swift Adaptation Rank: C Range: Personal Nature: Water Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Like Hiding in Water, the user can hide and breathe underwater. However, this jutsu also adds a coat of chakra around the caster, allowing them to move swiftly through bodies of water as would a predatory aquatic lifeform. Weakness: N/A
Name: Wind Release: Shadow Clone Rank: A Range: All Nature: Wind Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Unlike other Shadow clone, this specific ability doesn't actually conjure a clone to exact specific tasks for him. While the principle remains the same, the main idea behind this one is how brief its existence is, but also how swiftly it can be conjured. Using a single, one handed seal, it can be called upon at any spot within a meter from the user, and be birthed exacting a specific task, usually a physical assault. The moment that specific task, usually a single action, is performed, it evaporates into air. It must be noted that a large amount of air pressure is release if there is contact. Weakness: Like any other shadow clone. Its attacks are non-lethal. Only one can be called upon at a time.
Name: Wind Release: Hurricane Suite Rank: A Range: 500m in radius Nature: Wind Release Type: Wind Release Effect: With slightly spastic circular movements of his upper body as he exhales wind chakra, Gozubura is capable of unleashing a perpetual gust of wind to reign within the field. The winds are strong within these confines, and serve to destabilize more precision-oriented approaches, while also continuously dousing the area with streams of wind. Airborne approaches are made particularly difficult in this climate, as well as jump attacks. Weakness: Affects Gozubura just as much, takes a post to prepare, and lasts for six posts.
Name: Wind Release: Pressure Wave Rank: B Range: Close Nature: Wind Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Adopting a specific pose, Gozubura is capable of applying a certain amount of hand seals in order to utilize this jutsu. When cast, the user is capable of release blasts of air pressure with the held of wind chakra from their fists and feet following specific combat movements. The pressure can go up to 20 meters, but drastically loses power after 5m. It is often called the 'shotgun initiative'. It is non-lethal, poor at delivering damage, but particularly efficient at breaking opposing stances with how explosives and wide the waves tend to be. Weakness: After case commits the user to 6 waves. Once utilized, or stopped in the middle of usage, the cooldown is 4 posts. Until cancelled or used up, no other jutsu other than Wind Clone can be used.
Name: Wind Release: Counter Breeze Rank: B Range: Up to 100 meters Nature: Wind Release Type: Ninjutsu Effect: With four hand signs that can only be performed with two hand, the user is capable of then extending their hand at a direction. A large amount of wind will accumulate as far as they wish (100m max), and then violently attract itself at the user's direction, successfully creating a violent stream. It is so strong, even small boulders are lifted from the ground. Even bigger individuals will find themselves pulled at the direction of the caster. Weakness: Requires the arm to be extended at all times, and no other jutsu to be used. 4 post cooldown. Easy to predict when used once.

【Personality】 Ryokō is an easily bored individual. She has a tendency to start fights as a way to quell her boredom. She is the brawn while her sister was the brain of the duo. This not meaning she was incompetent when I came to being a good fighter. She just preferred instinct rather than planning. Along with her being easily bored, Ryokō can be impatient if she is not interested in what’s going on. She is a girl of few words and many unnecessary actions, such as when she will start swinging her tanto in the middle of public just to get more practice in. History Ryoko and Saki were twin girls born in Kumogakure and were the only children of their parents. While the girls were young, they both found an interest in becoming ninja. Their parents however were not ninja nor ever had an interest in becoming ninja, unlike their children. At first Ryokō and Saki’s parents were hesitant to let their only children become ninja due to the risks of the occupation but after constant nagging from both girls their parents agreed to sign them up for the ninja academy. However there was one condition. The girls had to always look out for each other. The girl enthusiastically agreed and in a few weeks they began their classes at the academy.
While at the academy the girls quickly found the fighting style that fit them the most. Ryokō liked to use her tanto in up close fighting and relied on her fighting instincts while Saki liked to use her kunai and shuriken from a distance and preferred to come up with a plan before engaging the enemy. Despite these very polarising fighting styles, the girls worked flawlessly with each other. They were able to cover each other from their respective fighting distance as well as know what the other was thinking based on pure intuition. But their parents preferred to call it their “twintuition”. Many times Saki would come up with a plan while Ryokō stalled for time fighting the enemy. This resulted in the pair earning the title “The Soaring Blades” based on how the seemed to fly through fights at an incredibly efficient pace.
The girls were always paired up on missions and quickly climbed the ranks of ninja to eventually chunin. One day the girls were given a mission to escort a VIP belonging to Konohagakure from Kumogakure back to their village. It was a mission that they had done dozens of times before. Nothing difficult at all. Just fend off any bandits, easy. However things were different this time. While escorting the VIP, the squadron came across something they didn’t expect. Ninja from Amegakure. Not just any ninja, elite jounin ninja. They were obviously here to assassinate the Konoha VIP and take the valuble information that he had been carrying. The girls and their fellow team quickly agreed to send someone to go get reinforcements while the others stalled for time. They sent the fastest ninja on their team leaving the twins and their team leader. The undermanned team held off the ninja for as long as they could but they were getting tired and running out of chakra. Surrounded and running out of time their team leader plays the piece of the pawn and uses his last strength to take out most of the remaining Rain ninja but at the cost of his life. It was now two versus two. Saki quickly came up with a plan to defeat the remaining two ninja and quickly set it in motion. Saki threw her kunai and encased them in fire using her ninjutsu. Ryokō weaved between the kunai and took out one of the ninja with her tanto. The other ninja rushes toward her at a lightning quick pace with his kunai about to strike. Ryokō’s guard was down, she was wide open. And also a perfect distraction. Saki rushes in cutting off the last rain ninja’s path and stabbing him in the chest with her kunai. The ninja goes limp and the battle is one. The VIP is safe and they can wait for the reinforcements to arrive so they can recover their leaders body ad continue their mission. Saki turns to look at Ryokō with was grin on her face knowing in each other’s hearts that aslong as they fight together, they are invincible.
BOOOM!!
Ryokō woke up with her teammate leaning over her with tears in her eyes. Her ears still ringing from the explosion.
“Wait what explosion?!” Ryokō thought to herself.
Ryokō sat up looking for her sister. She had to be here. She had to be ok. These were the thoughts running through her mind. She looks around and sees medical ninja from her village around her injured leader and can barely make out the words, “He’s going to be ok”. Good her leader lives another day. She continues look around and finds ninja around Saki. But they’re not medical ninja. Why aren’t there medical ninja around her sister? She looks to her teammate and now understands why there is tears in her eyes. Saki is dead. Ryokō’s mind goes racing back to the moments before the explosion. She suddenly realized what happened. The last ninja stuck a paper bomb on her just Saki got him. Why didn’t she see it? It was right in front of her. Had she not been so confident that they would win Saki would be fin-. No it wasn’t over confidence. It was lack of strength. Had Ryokō been stronger she could have taken out both ninja and quick enough so that he wouldn’t have time to plant a paper bomb. If only she had been stronger. Ryokō laid back and started crying. She didn’t stop until she passed out.
Ryokō woke up in the hospital a day later with her teammate by her bedside. Her parents had passed away a year ago, both due to illness, so it was just her now. Ryokō left the hospital a few days later to bury her sister. She had a new fire inside her that had never been there before. She took a vow to get stronger so no one close to her had to die again. She requested a leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time and was allowed to do so on one condition. If she planned on leaving the village she had to leave her headband behind. This was so any reputation she earned, good or bad, would not reflect badly on the village. Ryokō agreed and handed in her headband to the Raikage. She was leaving the village and may never return. Ryokō quickly gathered her things and set out to find opponents that could make her better. With her tanto and her sister’s kunai and shuriken she would be the one woman soaring blade. Using her jutsu along with her sisters, she vowed to become unstoppable.

This daughter of Jashin is a special, one of the few who succeeds in following the path sin. She was born before the second great ninja war, her parents do not matter and were killed in tribute to lord Jashin soon after her birth. This child was special, she would cause great calamity in the years to come and bring about the death of a famous neighbor. She was raised as a child in out hidden temple, taught everything we could about Lord Jashin, even went on to make her own young inquires as to his true meanings and his plan. As she got older she was taught the ways of reaping and learned our most sacred techniques, killing her peers and those who could not keep up with her.
When this child turned 15 she was given the name Akuno Kuīn (Evil Queen) by some random man whose family she had just given lord Jashin's blessing. It was after her naming that we felt she was ready to leave the temple and being her mission, the Lightning Daimyō was as sickly man and we took this as his calling for our lords help. Now there are those sinners who would try to sop us from blessing the Lightning Daimyō, so to get around that we sent Akuno to join their ranks and get as close to the Lightning Daimyō as she could. We told her that it was gonna be hard trying to fit in and not follow our lords teachings, but it was necessary to give him the ultimate sacrifice. So the girl did, made friends, found a husband even had a child. She climbed in rank and was soon a jonin of her village. She was well beloved and known for her strength, man thought she would become an aid of the Raikage. She played her part well for our lord and when we felt the time was right we sent her a sign in the form of a necklace. The following day Akuno went missing and her husband and child received the blessing of Jashin in the form of death. Over the next year she would be spotted killing the private guards of the Lighting Daimyō, and then the day came when she would take his life. Her mission was not a failure, no it was success and she gave the man a glorious blessing taking his head clean off and gave our lord and even better gift, his death. We cared not what happened after the seed of chaos was planted, but we do know, we always keep tabs on Jashin's children.
After her success 5 other jonin, her former friends, came and tried to arrest her but alas even those sinners cannot stop the light of Jashin. In response to her dedication and offering she was given immortality by our lord, the ultimate punishment and blessing. She would forever be cursed to wander this world doing our lords work, she would now be the Daughter of Jashin, his immortal servant and child who would offer his divine blessing to all who needed it. Soon following this was the second great war. This was a glorious time for our lord, so much death and carnage, chaos and destruction. Our rituals and prayers had so much power during this time and our lord gave us much for any sacrifices made during this time. I would hear of her again during this time, once again taking the disguise of a ninja. She caused much havoc on any battle field she could find, killing all and any who stood in her way, no matter what village they came from or what title they held. Akuno was still doing Lord Jashin's work and granting those afflicted by life the release they needed.
Now in recent years we heard she was approached by a man with a similarly color past, he asked for her services and surprisingly we did not hear of his death, but instead of her working for him. We could only hope that she remembers our lords teachings and brings him a bountiful harvest. I end this with the knowledge that the child I helped teach is coming back to give all of us here the final lesson of Jashin: absolute death. In fact she is out side giving many sacrifices to our lord and soon I will be given release from my fear of death. The path of Pain specializes in quick burst and short fights, getting close and using anything with a sharp edge to cut your suffering into fine pieces for lord Jashin. There are no direct guide lines for the path of pain, but for the ritual to count you must start with the Prayer of pain and end with it.
The Path of Suffering is far more strict and requires much more preparation. Those who follow suffering invoke the mark of Jashin and his 12 Disciples frequently. The path of suffering is all about long confrontations that leave the sacrifice disfigured. Sometimes followers are satisfied with the amount of suffering caused and leave the sacrifice alive, forever marked by Lord Jashin to wallow in agony and beg for death.
Lastly the Path of Swiftness, it is the easiest and most frequented path of those who follow Jashin. There is a short prayer and it is quiet simple either you kill the fast or slow. Have a long drawn out battle or a short quick confrontation, both end with the sacrifice for Lord Jashin. Name of Technique: 1000 Cuts Type of Jutsu: Offensive Ninjutsu/Bukijutsu Rank: C Range: All Nature Type: Wind Release Description: Akuno slashes in an "X" with her scythe or blade and a gale of compressed wind follows. The gale itself can knock over a human and the wind within it is sharp as knives and cuts the body in random places over and over again. Not getting caught by the gale, or just dodging it is the best way to avoid the technique.
Name of Technique: Kurushimi Sting Type of Jutsu: Offensive Ninjutsu/Bukijutsu Rank: C Range: 7 meter radius Nature Type: Lighting Release Description: Akuno charges her scythe with lighting chakra and the slashes at her enemy. This creates a line of electric energy to follow in that direction. It is simple enough to doge and wind ninjutsu counters well. The technique can smash rocks and if it touches a human then it will electrocute them and leave burn marks in the form of a line in the same direction slashed.
Name of Technique: Pain's Lament Type of Jutsu: Offensive Ninjutsu/Bukijutsu Rank: B Range: Melee Nature Type: Lighting Release or Wind Release Description: Akuno flows chakra through her scythe or swords causing them to become sharper and extending their ranger. Either weapon will be enveloped by wind or lighting chakra and its range s increase by at least a foot. Attacking the weapon with its weakness (i.e fire for wind and wind for lighting) will cause the technique to end.
Name of Technique: Curse Technique: Pain Controlling Meat Bag Type of Jutsu: Offensive Juinjutsu Rank: A Range: All Nature Type: N/A Description: For this ritual must have a mark of Jashin drawn on her chest and a part of her enemies body. She can connect with more than one person, as, long as they bear the mark of Jashin that was drawn with her chalk. She cuts her finger and drips blood on her chest and then her skin turns the signature black with white markings. After the ritual begins 75% of any damage she takes will be reflected on anyone bearing the mark of Jashin. If the mark on her chest is disoriented then the ritual ends.
Name of Technique: Curse Technique: Pain Controlling Blood Tie Type of Jutsu: Offensive Juinjutsu Rank: A Range: Melee Nature Type: N/A Description: This ritual requires her to draw two marks of Jashin on two opponents and ingest both of their blood in the same order she drew the marks. Once the last drop of blood is drunk her skin will turn black signalling the start of the ritual. The two people marked are tied together now and any damage done to one reflects on the other, even death, if one does so dies the other one. This link can only be broken if Akuno is dealt a fatal blow or if the marks are disoriented.
Name of Technique: Jashin's Voice Type of Jutsu: Offensive/Utility Juinjutsu Rank: B Range: 30 meter radius Nature Type: N/A Description: After making the rat hand seal anything that bears the mark of suffering begins to have painful vibrations flow through out it. If it is on something living then that part of the body will begin to have the vibrations, if it is on an inanimate object then said object will pass on the vibrations to whatever it touches. The vibratos cause people to topple over and fall to their knees, and more than one mark in the same place amplifies the affect. The easiest way to get away from this techniques is to try and remove the mark or run out the range.
Name of Technique: Jashin's Body Type of Jutsu: Offensive Juinjutsu Rank: B Range: 24 meter radius Nature Type: N/A Description: Akuno will dash into battle using her chalk to mark her enemies flesh, leaving them with slashes of red all over their skin. The she draws a smaller mark of Jashin on some part of her body and then stabs the chalk in the middle of it. This is her making her sacrifice and when it is accepted the skin surrounding the mark turns back and red marking turn white (not only on her but those she marked). This ritual causes the marked areas to experience great pain, the more marks on the body the greater the suffering. The average ninja cannot stand more that 5 marks before being unable to fight. She can remove the chalk and continue to mark and then start the ritual again. She can only use one chalk per ritual and if she wants she can draw another mark of Jashin and being another ritual on another part of her body.If the mark of Jashin or the chalk is broken in any way the the ritual will not continue.
Name of Technique: Jashin's Mind Type of Jutsu: Utility Juinjutsu/Genjutsu Rank: A Range: 7 meter radius Nature Type: Yin Release Description: Akuno places the mark of Jashin on the her enemies for head with her chalk. She must then draw a mark of Jashin big enough for her to stand in the middle of. Then to activate the mark she has to speak the mind Prayer and use the tiger hand seal. Anyone within a 4 meter radius of her that bear the mark of Jashin on their heads are trapped within a genjutsu that makes them watch helpless as the ones they care for die, or makes them live/face their greatest fear. This jutsu can be very physically and emotionally draining and depending how long it lasts the ninja may or may not get up.
Name of Technique: Jashin's Absolute Death Type of Jutsu: Offensives Jujutsu Rank: A Range: 20 meter radius Nature Type: N/A Description: Akuno draws a mark of Jashin and stands in the middle of it, then summons the 12 Deshi (however many she needs) and plants them into the mark/. She draws blood from her opponents and drinks it from the blade, one blade for one foe, after drinking the first drop of blood her skin turns black and she gains white bone markings. After drinking the blood she proceeds to stab her heart with it, and this causes the owner of the blood to succumb to the same fatal wound. She must use all the blades she summoned in order to use the ritual again in rapid succession (if she initially summoned 3 blades then she must stab her heart with three blades). If she does finish this ritual lord Jashin punishes her and denies her the right to use his absolute death again. The technique would look like this in combat: Akuno would summon 4 of the 12 Deshi and plant themin the ground around her. The she would begin her assault on attempting to draw the blond of her enemies, after drawing blood and drinking it she returns the blade to the mark of Jashin where she stood. Once all the blades have been used her skin will turn black and the markings will appear and she then will start to stab her heart with the swords.
