Chis continued to monitor the all the areas enveloped by smoke. Moment by moment the village would continue to be shrouded by the suffocating substance. Shiwaa's wail echoed through the streets as it continued it's rampage. Seemingly large buildings were nothing but roadblocks to the beast. It's body count began to pile up by the minute. Back near Chis, he and the four council members stood in their own spherical vacuum. The smoke would not harm Chis himself, but it would surely prove deadly for the elders and he preferred to keep his hostages alive until it was their time to go.

Off in the distance, the shinobi now-turned messenger was frantically spreading the word to any survivors he met as he neared the site of the Kazekage who was occupied in a tough battle with the other responsible culprit. He along with many others started to feel helpless. The power being exhibited by these invaders were will-breaking to say the least. Fortunately the messenger would run into a strange sand formation that caused him to stop in his tracks. He slowly approached and quickly noticed a leaf headband. "Reinforcements from the Leaf?" The man shifted his head to try and get a better look at the four that stood before him. "Please! If you are here to help, be quick about it. They have our elders and may soon have Lord Kazekage as well!" The man continued to communicate the threat issued by Chis before he went off to continue his new objective, hoping for a miracle from the "special group" that had been sent to provide support. Surely, they had to be strong. It wasn't long before he reached the Kazekage's battle scene. The man didn't bother attempting to hide his presence from Akuno, he had to deliver the message. "Lord Kazekage, the other invader has taken the council hostage and will begin to kill them one by one! His request is for the Kazekage to surrender and peacefully leave with them... I encountered the reinforcements from the Leaf but I'm not sure if they will be enou--" The poor Suna shinobi's words were cut short and replaced by the sounds of spraying blood as a random piece of debris, a result of Shiwaa's rampage, had decapitated him from behind.

Meanwhile, Shiwaa continued to leave it's mark. The horrendous heads had began to spew a webbing across the area of fallen buildings. Many fleeing shinobi became trapped and if Shiwaa didn't directly end their lives, the thick black smoke would. Along with the smoke, the hellish creature spat out about 5 more white egg sacs. The ones from before had already began to hatch. Miniature, less-menacing worms creatures escaped the sacs and wriggled freely around central Sunagakure in search of unfortunate victims that would become their hosts. Chis continued to wait for a response from the Kazekage. He knew Akuno would return to him with the Suna leader if she were to succumb in order to end her people's current suffering. However, he stayed on his toes ready to oppose any that tried to target him. Chis had already cut down a few unlucky souls, and his fingers were itching to constrict one of his hostages in his smoke. Nobody would be offered a swift, painless death under his watch until they got what they came for.

Things eventually settled back down for the unfamiliar group and their path was finally set. Kaba avoided initiating much un-needed conversation with the others although he knew little about them. When engaged, he replied with short rebuttals attempting to end conversations as quickly as possible. He made mental notes of his new teammates' abilities so to understand their weaknesses and strengths. He didn't know if they would be met with a combat situation, but if it did happen it was nice to know who could lend support where.

After what seemed to be eons specifically to Kaba, they reached their destination. Kaba had only visited Kumogakure once in his life, and he was only passing through due to a mission. He took a moment to absorb the scenery, noting how different it was from Konoha. Maybe he needed to travel more. He stretched while waiting on a consensus decision as to their next move, but that expectation was abruptly cut short with the arrival of a panicked shinobi. He was obviously in distress as sweat dripped across his brow.

As the group was informed of the hostage situation Kaba quietly sighed to himself. Normally, he'd be all for springing into action and playing the hero card but his heart was not yet back in it, which he couldn't help but think was pitiful. He had actually hoped things would be quiet and he could go off and explore Kumo alone for a while but it was clear they wouldn't get even a moment of downtime after the long trek. Even though he was in a funk of sorts, the Konoha shinobi would not waste any time sprinting after the Kumo nin as he led them to the scene.

Once they arrived to the cafe, there was little time to survey the situation. Their temporary guide had been snatched from the threshold of the building' entrance. The sudden action caused Kaba to instinctively reach for a kunai located in a pouch on his hip. He didn't point it at the one responsible, but kept in in a defensive position. As things came more into focus, Kaba noticed the wild hair that seemed to be unending, invading the entire cafe. The woman who it belonged to was certainly working with the same culprits that attacked Konoha, which led to Kaba immediately grimacing as she spoke. Once uninterested, he now strangely wanted to cut the woman's throat. But Kaba was no fool, he would not risk the safety of the hostages for his own selfish reasons. "What do you want?!" He stood waiting for a response, hoping none of the others made any rash decisions either. Really, he was only worried about the young Uchiha that impulsively joined them at the last minute. She was quite a character and he knew nothing of her abilities or experience in dealing with such a scenario.

Kaba waited patiently as the group made a decision on who would lead them to Kumogakure, but they had been suddenly interrupted by a new figure who leaped from behind nearby bushes. He un-interestingly shifted his gaze to the newcomer immediately noticing her crimson eyes. An Uchiha, probably. Kaba wondered why she would be stalking them, and was even more confused when she insisted on joining the group. Also, what was the purpose of the girl having her doujutsu active? It seemed like a irresponsible waste of chakra to him. He had a lot of questions, but didn't speak a word as the others reacted as well. Usually Kaba could recognize fellow leaf shinobi, but the girl was a total stranger to him. In the following moments, the newcomer would snatch a snack and sprint off into the distance. But it wasn't long before she was intercepted Kiku.

Kaba sighed and looked around to ensure there would be no more surprises. His attention was quickly caught by a blonde haired Jonin that seemed to be returning to the village. Kaba suddenly caught himself staring at her chest before the voice of Kiku asking the group a question snapped him out of his random daze. "Hm...." Kaba placed both of his hands in his pockets and began walking in the direction the girl had ran off towards, and when he reached the Uchiha and Kiku he kept walking past them down the path that would eventually lead to Kumogakure, only muttering a simple statement regarding his decision. "Don't expect me to babysit."

Chis paid little attention to the bout between his comrade and the Kazekage. He had faith his fellow member would emerge victorious, or he more so hoped she did so that his workload didn't double. As Chis and his clones continued their coordinated assault upon Sunagakure, they were met with expected resistance. There were many native shinobi that attempted to reach Chis and failed. Though a lot of the villagers were temporarily safe due to the unique technique employed by the Kazekage, her subordinates were not as lucky.

Though it would seem so, Chis' ultimate goal at the moment wasn't to just destroy the infrastructure of Suna. The clones had carefully been tasked to their currently locations. If one were to draw lines connecting the four, it would seem as if they were 4 corners of a square. Each clone wasted little time, knowing they would more than likely become targets. The clones began to string together a myriad of handseals, each eventually slamming a palm below where they stood. Meanwhile, Chis who had positioned himself near the middle of the 'square' removed a seal from his cloak. One he received, courtesy of the fiend Cockroach.

Though confident in his abilities, Chis figured he and Akuno would not be able to challenge an entire village without additional assistance and now things would become a bit easier. The scroll was unraveled and thrown to the ground before Chis, a small area that was slightly raised so as to avoid the flooding. From the four different positions of the clones, markings races along various surfaces eventually reaching the scroll's position. Chis ripped off a glove a quickly cut his palm on the blade of the weapon that rested on his hip. He moved his hand over the scroll so that the blood fell on the scroll. As soon as his blood made contact with the scroll he immediately crouched and used his other hand to slam the ground. "SHIWAA!!!!" A plume of white smoke suddenly filled the area, and simultaneously all four clones vanished, having served their purpose.

Moments later a screech that even caused the oft expressionless Chis to bow over and cover his ears rang through the village.

A monstrosity had now entered the scene. It was large enough so to be seen from any point of the village. It's size was comparable to the largest building in Sunagakure, the Kazekage's mansion. A disorderly eerie feelings would creep through the air as the beast wasted no time in beginning what it was made for. Some Suna natives would probably notice that Shiwaa was similar to a species, previously thought to be extinct, that wreaked havoc upon the desert many years ago. Shiwaa was a scientifically enhanced version, Cockroach loved to use the term "evolved" to describe the worm monster. Chis marveled at his toy as it began to wriggle throughout the immediate area wildly enough to level a few buildings with it's multiple heads waving. The holes that covered it's body endlessly expelled even more smoke throughout the village, and the more smoke that covered the village, the bigger the advantage for Chis. A few unfortunate Sunagakure shinobi became quick victims, some being grabbed and ravaged by Shiwaa's dagger like fangs and others being simply crushed. It seemed as if the beast would screech anytime it claimed a new victim.

Now that his first goal had been met, Chis turned his attention back to the nearby building. He replaced his glove and wasted no time breaching the water-weakened sand dome that separated him from his targets. Shortly thereafter, several bodies would fly from various levels of the buildings to the ground below. Chis retrieved four elder members of Sunagakure's senior council. One would undoubtedly die upon impact with the ground. The other three would suffer injuries causing them to lay in agonizing pain from being tossed from above. They were now his hostages. He understood that the loss of a village's council would surely be a blow to any land. He knew the native shinobi would want to prevent such a loss, and aimed to sentence them into further chaos. As expected, a few aimed to take down Chis, who stood directly in front of the injured council members. They proved to be no match for his however, and one was allowed to live in order to spread a message. "I will kill one member of the council every 10 minutes if the Kazekage does not surrender and order everyone to stand down. Only I can quell the beast that now ravages your land. Take these threats as serious as you may, I always follow through." The young shinobi sprinted off in fear towards the Kazekage to deliver the message while communicating it to any comrades he crossed on the way.

Chis didn't expect Ishi to succumb so easily. In fact, he wanted to assassinate the council members and probably would do so regardless of the Suna leader's actions. In the meantime, Shiwaa continued it's attack while many chose to avoid it altogether. Chis watched, making sure the worm kept itself around the central area of the village. One of the heads of Shiwaa seemed to begin to gag, and moments later a small number of white sacs would escape the beast's mouth, each landing in various locations. What could be inside?

TIME: Present Day - Morning | LOCATION: Konoha - Hokage's Funeral | INTERACTION: N/A

Kaba stared ahead aimlessly among the crowd of people of varying origin. Ever since the attack on Konoha, an aura of sadness afflicted the village. Many innocents lose their lives that day, including some that Kaba personally knew. Most hurtful was the loss of their Hokage. The fact that the Hokage was killed effected Kaba in a way that made him feel almost personally responsible. He felt as if he and his colleagues should have done a better job in protecting Konoha and its innocent inhabitants; especially their prideful leader. He knew he would need to now push his limits. The perpetrators had successfully escaped after initiating turmoil throughout the shinobi world. Kaba knew it certainly would not be the last time he would face the strange foes.

He wanted to use the recent failure as fuel for future growth for the sake of his clan, and for the sake of Konoha. But this newfound motivation wouldn't last long. To everyone's surprise a figure stood and revealed himself before everyone. The man was eerily similar to their fallen Hokage, and led Kaba to believe that they were possibly being toyed with. What was even more surprising was that the man suddenly began to read the names of the newly promoted Jounin. Kaba intently waited for his name to be uttered, but it was not. Once Shinko seemingly revealed the last shinobi to be promoted, the rest of his words became a jumbled mess to Kaba.

The barrier shinobi's head dropped, and his eyes were now burning a hole in his lap. After convincing himself to be motivated to push himself, the news brought him crashing back down. Unfortunately, he had been sitting next to his grandfather, Yagura Joukaku, the current head of the clan. Kaba didn't even have to move his head or eyes to know that the asshole was looking down upon him. He had failed again, and now he possibly had lost his chance to take over his clan and change it's outlook. Once the activities were complete, Kaba did not head home. He disappeared from the area almost instantly and isolated himself. A sweeping darkness entered his body, and his mood formed into somewhat of a depressed one. He had trained intensely for the exams but still ultimately failed. At this point, Kaba questioned if he should continue to practice as a shinobi...

TIME: Present Day - Afternoon - Weeks after the Hokage's Funeral | LOCATION: Clan Quarters | INTERACTION: @LadyinInk@Altered Tundra@Grey Sama

Weeks had passed and Kaba's mood has not changed. He attempted to take on a few easy missions to get out of his funk, but nothing worked. He barely trained since the revelation of his failure and was closer than ever to just quitting and leaving the village altogether. To his shock, his grandfather hadn't said one word to him since that day. In fact, Kaba barely saw the man despite the fact they were often near each other. However, he wouldn't complain. He almost enjoyed his new antisocial life and was growing more comfortable with being alone as the days passed.

At that moment, Kaba sat upright in his bed reading a book detailing specialized ninjutsu, particularly Jikukan Ninjutsu, something he was quite interested in which was ironic, considering he had barely trained to hone his own jutsu in weeks. As he flipped a page, a figure appeared seemingly out of thin air within his room. It was the same man who revealed himself at the Hokage's funeral. As he noticed who it was, Kaba immediately exited his bed to pay proper respects to his new Hokage. The man exuded a similar presence to the previous Leader of the Leaf but there was an obvious difference. As Shinko revealed why he was suddenly standing before Kaba, the boy's eyes widened with shock. He was being sent to Kumogakure as a part of a special forces unit due to his interaction and experience with the foes who ravaged Konoha.

The news didn't completely knock him out of his funk but he was honored to be given the chance. Maybe he would encounter the evil shinobi once more and gain a chance to exercise his demons? A part of him secretly hoped not. Even so, Kaba wasted no time bowing to the Hokage before his clone dispersed. "Certainly, Lord Hokage. Thank you." Kaba began to gather his supplies and change into his usual gear. Just as he was finishing, Kiku appeared at his residence to retrieve him for the mission ahead. She was another fellow lead shinobi he had classes with but never interacted with enough to known much about. However, he was sure they'd become acquainted soon, as well as the other two that he now found himself teamed up with. In another moment, the group was at the gate and Kaba was ready to depart. He had barely said anything to the other 3, still in a gloomy mood but he would try his best to be a great comrade so that they succeed by any means. The barrier-nin stood waiting for the Kumo native to lead the way.

Chis reluctantly gathered with the rest of his associates. He sat, only listening to the back and forth and absorbing any pertinent information that was uttered. He did not expect to be remotely friendly towards any of the members around him, but he would carry out his orders and move to benefit the success of the Yomigaeri. He had his own underlying objectives, and this just so happened to be a convenient and unique faction. The Black Dragon would be sure to reap all the benefits for the forthcoming chaos that the Yomigaeri would introduce to the shinobi world.

No one could tell due to his mask, but Chis' eyes were closed. His arms were folded, and his legs were crossed while he sat in his seat just listening to those around him. A tap on his shoulder broke forced his concentration to shift. 'Why don't we go to the Sunagakure the Land of Wind has never been touched by Lord Jashin, and I am sure whatever is under that mask could use some sun.' Chis' arms would unfold as he let out a quiet "Hmph..." in response to his partner's suggestion. He stood, and faced her for the first time. Their difference in height caused him to look down on the woman. He knew of her, but wasn't too familiar. But as long as they worked together, she would have his respect. Chis ultimately disapproved of religion, but he refused to judge the Jashin follower. Before he could properly respond, she had started towards the exit and Chis followed suit.

Attack on Sunagakure

During their trek, there was little conversation outside their coordination of their attack on Sunagakure. That was the way Chis preferred it. He wasn't a very social person, and he also considered it dangerous to get to close to what he deemed as a 'business assocaite'. Hours slowly passed, but eventually the duo came upon their destination. Chis had only been to Sunagakure once before as a young teenager. The land was clearly different since then. He did not enjoy the desert environment, but he could tolerate it. Traveling through sand was a burden, and if not for his useful abilities the cold of the desert night would have nearly frozen him. Chis gazed at the now-peaceful village, admiring it's subtle beauty. He knew it was a shame that he and Akuno would soon lay waste to the major village, but it was something that needed to be done and there was no way he'd fail. While ready to begin the assault, Chis was interrupted by a question from his colleague. 'Why do they call you the Black Dragon?' Under his mask, Chis smirked. He continued to look forward towards Suna before barely answering. "Rather than explain, it would be best to allow you to witness on your own. I'm sure you will have your answer soon."

It Begins

Chis pulled a hand from one of the pockets of his cloaks and clenched it into a fist in front of his face. A sudden warmth would wash over his comrade's body. "As we agreed, I will undoubtedly draw the target out, I expect you to take care of her without fail, Jashin... Leave the village to me." In another moment, Chis' body would soon be reduced to a black smoke that would fly away with the Suna winds. Using the acquired intel, Chis swiftly infiltrated the sand village as a plume of smoke. He made his way to the middle of the village, standing atop a large structure where he learned that the elder council presided. From his body, 4 clones escaped as dark wisps. Each figure posted in four different areas of the village. The first found itself atop Suna's main hospital. The next would post next to the village's own shinobi academy. The third clone found itself among the heavily populated shopping district, and the fourth stood among the village cemetery, particularly next to the resting areas of the previously deceased Kazekages.

The figures did not attempt to hide, and a couple were actually noticed, but by that time it would be too late. Suddenly, the Sunagakure air would ring with numerous sounds of explosions coming from all directions. Due to the hours in which the pair initiated the attack, many of the villagers were sure to be asleep but now they would all almost surely be awakened by the extremely loud detonations that shook the entire land like thunder. Buildings caught fire and thick smoke began to cloud the air. Blood curdling screams would haunt the innocent as Chis terrorized the once peaceful land. Shortly after the detonations, the clones, along with Chis himself, would coordinate to manipulate the smoke that began to rapidly fill the areas. Soon the smoke would cover most of the village, turning it into Chis' own environment. Many citizens would find themselves quickly in need of air, and many would perish either to flames or smoke inhalation. Chis' goal was to make the people of Sunagakure suffer as much as he could, and any that chose to oppose him would be welcomed to try. He enjoyed the sudden chaos and knew it wouldn't be long before the Kazekage made her move, which he was then sure that Akuno would handle. The destruction was undoubtedly splendid. The pour souls would bow before the Yomigaeri.

"Tch!" Kaba resented the thought of fleeing but it seemed as if he would not be able to sway Date nor the Tsuchikage. He exhaled, calming himself so that he could think clearly. He would probably be more useful rescuing injured fellow shinobi rather thank taking on an opponent that clearly outclassed him. That fact was one that would upset him and drive him to become stronger. Next time a Kage would most likely not appear to save him. Kaba stared at Jaakuna, making sure he would not forget the man's face.

Kaba scoffed at Sebun's proposal, but would not forget it. Just as he prepared to retreat and leave the rest to the Tsuchikage, Jaakuna launched another assault, a single shuriken that seemingly split into many times more. Kaba refused to panic. This was a simple technique he had seen before, or so he thought. As the shuriken neared him, he began his escape, aiming to jump upon one of the lucky trees that still stood after the attack. Simultaneously, Kaba raised his left hand and erected a simple shield to intercept the shuriken. To the youn shinobi's surprise, this attack wasn't as simple as he initially presumed. Upon impact with his barrier, multiple explosions triggered, causing the shield to shatter akin to glass. Kaba had only put enough into the defense to stop shuriken, he didn't anticipate explosions. This would be a lesson for him in the future. A few more shuriken crossed the flames and smoke that had arisen from the explosion, and shot towards the tree Kaba now stood on. It was too late for Kaba to erect another shield, so he desperately leaped from the perch right as the weapons impacted the tree, which was now unrecognizable. Kaba landed on the water below rather clumsily, but he successfully escaped damage from the surprise technique. Wasting little time, he got back on his feet and a visible barrier formed around his body almost instantaneously. The barrier was of a reddish-orange tint but was still transparent so Kaba could clearly be seen. It was extra insurance for if Jaakuna decided to target him again. Kaba knew he could hardly track the traitor's speed while using that strange cloak, and especially since he would be fleeing he would have no time to keep tabs on him. Kaba just hoped the Tsuchikage would be able to hold Jaakuna in place so that he and Date could lend assistance elsewhere.

With the new barrier now erected surrounding him, Kaba again took off to search for survivors in need.

Chis watched on in silence as Yogensha ordered the two others to retreat from the area. He figured she was either incredibly confident in her own abilities, or extremely caring enough to not allow her subordinates to put themselves in further harm's way. Maybe it was neither, he had no idea. One of the girls, the Byakugan user ultimately complied. Actually, she obeyed Yogensha too easily. Chis did not give chase, but he was on alert that the kunoichi might return with assistance for her fearless leader.

The other kunoichi, Koma had different plans. She outright refused to leave Yogensha and even moved to aim a loaded arrow directly at the cloaked fiend. However, Chis' main focus remained with his prospective opponent. As Koma completed her plea to Yogensha, Chis would began walking slowly directly towards Yogensha. Both his hands held each other behind his back, and he did not approach in a threatening manner. But make no mistake, if either were to make a move on him he would react accordingly to defend himself. After what seemed to be an eternity, the Black Dragon would stop about 2-3 yards in front of Yogensha, who now faced him. He studied her current condition, realizing that she was actually a very attractive woman. That would in no way effect Chis' next decision though.

Chis noticed the small amount of blood that seemed to have escaped her mouth not long ago. "Hm..." he bellowed. His attention quickly moved back to Koma, but it was only a moment before his eyes turned back to Yogensha. "Kaguya, Yogensha... Indeed, I am aware of who you are. I've heard interesting things about you and wanted to confirm them for myself. I assumed you would be a worthy foe for me today, but it seems as if the situation has taken a bit out of you... Are you ill?" Chis paused, and quickly resumed his retort, not expecting Yogensha to reveal her affliction to the enemy so easily. His voice was deep, and as imposing as his presence. "Kaguya, Yogensha, it is unfortunate that you are in this current condition. I will let you and your subordinate live though anything that occurs after I exit is not of my concern. But do not mistake this decision as pity. You will certainly see me again...soon. I will not forget my promise to you, and next time I will not be so kind. I look forward to it. Same applies to you, girl." Chis did not know Koma's name, but he would remember her face and voice, even from the small interaction. Quickly thereafter, smoke began to pour from Chis' mask and swiftly enveloped him. In a moment, he was gone from the scene as fast as he appeared.

Kaba grumbled as Jaakuna continued to speak. Each breath he made strangely annoyed the shinobi more and more, his tone being akin to the one person he truly hated in this world. The fact that he was seemingly a traitor that had just clearly destroyed the lives of many with his calculated attack on Konoha did nothing to help quell Kaba's emotions from turning into anger. A scowl grew upon Kaba's face as Jaakuna began to gear up for an attack. He studied the strange tail that seemed to sprout from nothing, and continued to stare in slight awe as the criminal was enveloped by a scarlet cloak that had formed into the shape of a fox. Kaba had never seen a jinchuriki activate their abilities in person, but he knew exactly what he was looking at. However, it was still quite the shock to him. He would not let his feelings show towards his opponent though.

Kaba readied himself, or so he thought. Jaakuna's speed had surprised him. He paid no mind to the 'hint' offered due to Jaakuna being a foe and clearly an untrustworthy individual. As the tailed-beast host vanished, Kaba attempted to cover all sides of his body with a barrier. He had no clue if it would be strong enough or if he could summon it swiftly enough before the eventual attack. But lo and behold, all his concerns vanished in an instant, much like Jaakuna did to attack. His footing surprising shifted, allowing him to avoid damage at all. Kaba began searching for the responsible party, and much to his shock it was the Tsuchikage himself.

The young chunin breathed a sigh of relief and slapped himself in the forehead as the Tsuchikage stood before the group as his savior, and then question Kaba's intelligence. He felt stupid for putting himself in danger and considering that maybe he could be victorious against the dangerous culprits. But he had also expected someone to come to his aide to even the odds, and his hopes had been granted. Also, to Kaba's defense he hadn't noticed Jaakuna initially, and only meant to challenge Sebun. Still, he was grateful considering he could've easily ended up as the others who now laid lifeless around the ironically-named Forest of Death.

Kaba performed a slight bow in the direction of the Tsuchikage from his new platform. "My apologies, Lord Tsuchikage... I am grateful for your assistance!" Kaba started to speak again, but another ally appeared, Date Uchiha. Kaba was slow to recognize him initially, but eventually grew more comfortable with the chances of them defeating the foes that stood before them. He wasn't familiar with Date's abilities exactly, but knew that he possessed the Sharingan, which was formidable in its own right. Kaba wanted to listen to the advice of the Tsuchikage, but he felt a sense of responsibility when it came to these criminals, Jaakuna especially. They had launched a deadly assault upon his home and one happened to be a traitor, something Kaba could not just ignore. He was sure the leader of Iwagakure could hold his own, but Kaba wanted to prove himself as a competent and prideful shinobi of Konoha. "Lord Tsuchikage, with all due respect...Please allow us to fight alongside you! These two ravaged our home village, and one.." *pointing at Jaakuna* "..one is a traitor that must absolutely answer for his crimes before the Hokage!" Kaba looked at Date, assuming he heard his plea to the Tsuchikage. He gestured to the Uchiha as if to ask if he agreed to fight as well.

Death and chaos weighed heavy upon the air of Konoah. Chis, a bit late to the party, took a deep breath as he looked upon the destruction. Vengeance would soon be dealt to those who destroyed his life. The one thing that he ever loved was snatched from him, and in return even those that were seemingly innocent would atone. He stood atop a smoking building that offered a great view of what he deemed as justice. His orders were clear and simple, and he would execute them to the best of his ability. The sight he took in almost excited the rouge shinobi. Due to the events that they had rudely interrupted, there was plenty of challenging foes around for Chis to flex his strength.

Quickly, he happened upon three individuals who took refuge at the summit of the Hokage Mountain. He recognized one as a Byakugan user and didn't bother to attempt stealth. In the next instant, the ashen shinobi would become smoke and quickly close the distance between the two parties. Chis would appear about 10 yards behind the group just as the Amekage finished coughing. He stood facing the group, but did not utter a word nor did he move any further. If they didn't immediately notice his figure, they would feel the intense heat and pressure being exerted from his body. Upon looking at Chis, they would more than likely notice air waves bending before him due to the high temperatures surrounding him alone.

Kaba Joukaku

"Huh?" Kaba didn't even notice Jaakuna approach the area. Suddenly his clone was dispatched by its own attack. Before he could suffer a similar fate, Kaba quickly would move to defend himself. The second kunai aimed towards his refuge seemed to suddenly stop in mid-air. It was caught within a barrier, and the sound of a muffled pop soon followed due to the detonation of the explosive tag attached to the kunai. The barrier dissipated and the slightly now charred kunai fell harmlessly into the water below. Kaba sighed as he expected an ally to appear before another enemy. He quickly figured his chances of defeating two foes while not exactly being at full strength would be nearly impossible.

Kaba hopped upon a branch, revealing himself to the two assailants while standing in a defensive pose. He took a close look at Sebun and noted the amount of weapons that were in formation, suspended behind him. The scene was intimidating, sure. But the young shinobi would not show an ounce of fear to the strange foes. Quickly, his attention was turned to Jaakuna. As his studies began to flood his mind, Kaba's defenses were lowered and he froze in place, suddenly realizing he was standing before a very man who he learned of years ago due to his importance to the village's history as a shinobi. "You...! Are you not supposed to be dead?" Kaba became defensive once again as he began to theorize exactly what was happening at the moment. He knew of forbidden techniques that could reanimate the dead, but he couldn't be sure if this was the result of such a technique. He was dumbfounded.

One moment he was seemingly on his way to attaining the title of Jounin, and the next his village was under attack by mysterious powerful shinobi. And now a former Leaf Village Sannin was seemingly back alive and assisting in an attack against a village he once protected. Kaba was filled with confusing emotions, and attempted to calm himself before making another move. His chances of victory in this current situation were slim, so he decided to try and buy time in hope of possible reinforcements coming to his aid. If he had to, he would defend himself to the best of his ability from the enemies. "I don't quite understand what is happening at the moment, but I am certain the Hokage would want to speak with both of you." Kaba turned back to Sebun, not fully taking his attention off of Jaakuna. "I don't expect you to bite, but judging from the number you and your buddies did to the village and the forest, you wouldn't hesitate to try and skewer me with one of your weapons there..." Kaba gestured towards the bevy of arms aimed towards his location. [color=red]"You all are making quite the mistake, don't think we will just let you walk away from this without answering for your crimes. Why are you doing this? What is your purpose here?!"[color] Kaba's tone slightly shifted to one of anger as he awaited a response while still standing ready to defend himself at any moment.
