Big-Killa Pack
History
No member of the Big-Killa pack alive today can remember how the Pack was formed, but the story of its origins are told regularly to young rats every night. Many generations ago, a large group of rats on the second level of the Mall Plane were being systematically hunted and wiped out by a group of Skulkers. Faced with the risk of extinction, a single rat emerged that would bring salvation for their kin. Tak-Tak the Trickster discovered the ancient devices used to once catch their kind, known as mouse traps. With this knowledge, he laid a trap to deal with the Skulkers once and for all.
Gathering as many mouse traps as he could, Tak-Tak trapped many living mice within the devices, leaving them out in the open. When the Skulkers came to feast on the easy prey, Tak-Tak led the Rat Warriors from the shadows, encircling the beasts. Many rats fell against the Skulkers, but faced with overwhelming numbers and trapped on all sides, the Skulkers were eventually brought down. The rats proclaimed Tak-Tak the leader of them, and named themselves the Big-Killa Pack, in remembrance of their great victory.
Since then, The Big-Killa Pack has expanded greatly, through no small measure of their enslavement and use of the lesser Mice species. They have built a large, multi-leveled settlement in what they call "The Rainbow Palace(a kid playscape they found and claimed).
Leadership
The Big-Killa Pack is led by the Grand Trickster, the cleverest and most ruthless rat among their Pack. His right to rule comes from the belief that he is the great Tak-Tak reborn, and as such is the only one with the right to lead their mighty hordes in battle. They do not think it weird when the Grand Trickster is killed and replaced by another, as it is simply Tak-Tak playing another trick on his people, becoming ever greater each time.
Territory and Ressurces
The Big-Killa Pack have made their home inside the Rainbow Palace, a massive structure in the already massive Mall Plane. It is many levels in height, with numerous rope bridges and ladders leading up through it. To enter the Palace, one must survive the Sea of Colored Orbs. Many rats have fallen prey to the seemingly easy passage, only to find numerous traps and other deadly machinations planted around the entrance. The only safe way is across a draw bridge that can be lowered across the Sea, the only control for it being a lever in a heavily guarded post on the other side. Near the Rainbow Palace is the Great Reservoir, a magical place that creates water once you push on a small pad. A great canal has been built from the Great Reservoir to the Rainbow Palace, where an entire section has been devoted to agricultural growth, fueled by the single ray of sunlight that breaks through the grey sky above.
Thanks to their history, the rats of the Big-Killa Pack see the mice as a lesser species in every way, and have enslaved them. They act as servants, builders, farmers, and even food sources in time of great need. All rebellions are viciously put down, and the women and children of the mice breed are kept separate from their males, to ensure that they are always working.
Culture and Faith
The Big-Killa Pack are vicious rats. They have enslaved the mice species into a lesser class altogether, using them to do all their manual labor and other tasks. They even use the mice as a food supply if their crops have a bad turn out. They don't see anything wrong with this really, its just the natural order of things. The hunting and killing of Skulkers is a mighty deed many members of the Big-Killa Pack have dedicated their lives to, to follow in the footsteps of the Great Tak-Tak. When warriors rarely bring in the body of a Skulker, they are hailed as holy heroes, with many banquets and feasts thrown in their honor. It is not uncommon for the next Grand Trickster to emerge from the survivors of such expeditions, since few ever return.
The rats of the Big-Killa Pack worship the First Great Trickster, Tak-Tak as the only god. They look up to him as a great leader, and the only one whom shall ever rightfully lead the Pack. Every new leader of the Pack takes the name Grand Trickster, as they are seen as Tak-Tak reborn to take the leadership of his people. Mice are often caught disgracing Tak-Tak, and the accused and their entire bloodline are quick to be rooted out and used as bait for the next Great Hunt.
Army and Warriors
The War-Rats of the Big-Killa Pack are a massive force of troops raised from birth to fight and die for the Pack. Entire generations of rats have been nothing but War-Rats, leading to grand legacies and traditions amongst the Pack. Each warriors is armored in thick leather they gather from nearby leather forest(vest store). The weaponry of the War-Rats vary wildly from warrior to warrior, with most being armed with battle axes(they take the little metal parts from zippers of vests and other clothing and rip it off, before sharpening it and sticking it to the end of bones usually) and spears(same concept). A few warriors, the Grand Trickster among them, are armed with mighty Skulker blades, the claws and teeth of their most hated enemy harvested and forged into weaponry to use in war.
