Appearance:Pictured is a well built young man, wearing an oil-stained tanktop and coveralls tied around his waist, with a harness strapped to his body, cords attached to his back and forearms. His normal rat's nest of brown hair has been wrangled into a short ponytail and his mismatched eyes are hidden behind tinted goggles. The scar above his left eye is visible, however, a bright pink divot where flesh was burnt and scraped from his skull and turning the once brown pupil pale blue. Whatever attractive features that may lay hidden on the plain-faced young man are marred by the manic grin splitting his face, revealing bright teeth and a missing left canine, as electricity dances between the twin tesla coils and his gauntleted fists.

Class: Ark Champion: Combining arcane science and old-fashioned brawn, James wades into the thick of combat absorbing damage meant for his comrades, advancing the battleline with every stomp of his boots. Should anything get a bright idea they will need to face the business end of a prototype hammer, able to slam into foes with the strength of a lightning bolt... sometimes. Working with what materials he can scrounge and whatever funding he can snag, James is still a commanding force on the battlefield, demanding attention as he slams into enemies and jumps between danger and his allies.
Class Skills:— Thunderous Blow [Active]: Flicking a switch, the Jolthammer comes to life in a sparkling display. If it connects the blow will release a great deal of energy, knocking back whatever it hits and dealing high "Lightning" damage. Will need at least eight seconds until it recharges enough to be useful.
— Barrier Up [Active]: With power flowing into his right fist, James projects a hardlight barrier the size of a shield before it. As it stands the barrier can take several heavy blows before it collapses, needing sixteen seconds to totally recharge.
— Overclock [Active]: In dire straights James can overclock the strength boosting harness he wears, pushing his strength beyond the human for 12 seconds. Due to it's dangerous and altogether experimental nature, Overclocking is a risky gamble as it deals an unignorable bit of damage and has about a minute before it can be used again.
— Grip of the Thunder God [Active]: If he ever finds himself without a weapon in the field, James can grab onto an opponent and directly dump electricity into their bodies. This dangerous, however, as James cannot control how much gets dumped into someone and must rely on a manual off switch to cease functions and is unsuitable for combat against human combatants.
— Harness Enhanced Strength [Passive]: Originally created to help distribute the weight of his equipment, James has just recently begun tinkering with the possibilities that exo frames give. For now it's boons are limited, boosting his strength only be fifty percent.
— Minor Conditioning [Passive]: As dedicated as he is to his inventions, James knows that he cannot rely solely on his mind to get him out of trouble. To this end he has worked his body to meet the tasks at hand, though not as much as some other, more physically reliant Students.
— Tenacity [Passive]: If there is one thing James values above all else, it's his willpower. Such signal minded drive makes it difficult for him to be swayed, making him resistant to "Psychic" damage and immune to the "Fear" status effect. Is affected by "Terror" in much the same fashion, if not a smidge more dignified.
— Magnetotelluric Current [Passive]: The magic that makes everything happen, the Magnetotelluric Current is what powers James equipment. Self-perpetuating as it is, James can still run out of juice before a fight is done by spending too much power too rapidly, locking him in his harness. James becomes "Rooted" for five seconds and "Slowed" for another ten. An example of a full battery deplete would be activating a Thunderous Blow after an Overclock, or dumping all of his fuel into a Grip of the Thunder God.
Tablet Power:Light of Inspiration- James is one of few individuals gifted with the Light of Inspiration, a force of creation that infests the minds of its bearers and pushes them to create "Wonders". Miracles of modern science, "Wonders" are leagues above whatever technology is around but are hampered by their unique crafting, the materials of their construction, and the eccentricities of their creators. To the bearers of the Light science is no field to learn, but instincts to be explored and for many of them the act of creation is enough for many, fading into obscurity as lone tinkerers, toymakers, and givers of trinkets. James' personal muse is the shaping of metal and the harnessing of energy.
