Another char of mine would like to recommend Naytheism. Ziotea has overtones, but Raia (the char I speak of) was very firmly Naytheist. There was a full pantheon, and abundant proof that the gods existed, including them coming to visit (we were a fairly significant little group by the end). But Raia refused outright to give them any respect she wouldn't give a non-deity with the same abilities. This includes when she was tricked into becoming the avatar (human representative, comes with a telepathic bond and some other stuff) of a goddess. To the point where she flat out told said goddess to gtfo of her head. Good thing the goddess was a decent sort and willing to negotiate. Might also help that Raia'd just freed her from centuries of imprisonment (also tricked into that, but hey).

Actually, upon looking it up to refresh my memory, I discovered that Ziotea and Raia are just different types of Naytheists. Huh. And now I wanna find an excuse to make a devout but misotheistic character...probably would be some sort of self-condemning sort, hm....

@Lovejoy I like Galahad's vision a lot. Menacing, ominous. Makes it seem like he's his own ultimate enemy.

I've never understood why people resist having flaws or weaknesses so much. We're not RPing to be the most powerful or successful character, we're RPing to tell a good story, and stories love a loser. An opportunity to get awesomely screwed isn't a penalty, it's a gift. :P

Also? I LOVE the vision.

Hey, so I didn't have a lot of time to keep up this weekend, could I get a little assistance? XD I'm really happy there's so much motivation but this OOC grows so quickly I could not at all keep up on the important stuff.

@shylarah Yeah, my apologies for not getting these relationships hammered out. Working on a few things at once. I'm sifting through all these pages in the hopes that I'll find the visions... because Viveca didn't have a vision on the first page (cause she's Leviathan, not Phoenix).

But I didn't realize the extent of my RPing... I've only copied the info for 6 RPS and...the doc is 225 pages and takes forever to load.

@Drakey ahhaa, yes. ^.^;; Well first off, strip all formatting save emphasis and such inside the rp text itself. You could also copypasta the raw. Secondly, I recommend putting one rp per file. Makes things simpler. Thirdly, a slimmer program than word, like Notepad ++, can really reduce your file size. ^.^

I speak from experience. ^.~

for example, in the past few years I've accumulated 10mb of text across at least a hundred and fifty pure .txt files. ...And now I realize all over again just how much of my records I lost when my flash drive broke, and I am sad.

I reserve an entire 8gb flash drive for my RP purposes. Currently have 4gb on the drive remaining. Combination of text info and unfinished premises, and a vault of reference images. - Also back up your data every so often, so I have a copy of all of this on my hard drive as well.

oh while were talking about data backups for RP stuff, boy howdy do i have a story,

One of my first ever RPs was about people in Code-Geass style mech suits fighting against an all powerful corporation and it was super dope, and we more or less finished the damn thing and I book marked it and loved it and it was mine

A few months later the site I had put it on got hacked, and I lost it forever. I have the first have of it saved before we transferred websites, but all of the really good stuff is gone for good.

this is definitely not a happy story, it crushed me real bad
