No, that's part of his history before Marvel's Secret Wars Event and his being rolled over into the Main Marvel Universe in its wake.

The only reason that I mention it, is because he remembers these things and it was one of the main things that molded him into the Spider-Man role.

@DC The Dragon Are you intending this to be an Elseworlds-esque story that doesn't fit into the "main" continuity of the game? There's already an accepted Peter Parker character for this RP, who I do believe is very much alive.

No. Miles wasn't originally from the 616 universe. There was one, but he was killed long ago. Have you read secret wars..?

This is literally Miles Morales past, but not this RP's present and current stand of events. I'm in communication with this RP's Peter Parker for stories, the one I am talking about is separate and dead, having been from what was the Ultimate Universe, from a universe in Marvel's Continuity's Past.

Please do not drag this out as something that it isn't.

The thing about this game is that it's completely separate from any existing continuity, as I've tried explaining in PMs (hence why I connected Miles to the Titans and not the Champions in my sheet). You don't have to follow existing continuity to a tee, and it's encouraged that you don't. Personally I'm a little uncomfortable with how you've set up Miles, and would've liked if you continued our discussion to make sure that, like I said in our PMs, we're both happy.

This is ultimately up to @Lord Wraith and @Retired (as the as of yet unannounced co-GM), but that's my personal stance on this.

Ah I see. I've misunderstood a bit, though, at the same time, I'm saying that this is literally his past and what pushed him to becoming Spider-Man, canonically.

@DC The Dragon I think you're confused as to what I was asking. Nowhere did I suggest Miles was from the 616 universe. I was asking if you, as the player, are intending for your version of Miles to be similar to what was recently done, i.e., bring Miles from an alternate universe (one in which Peter Parker had died, as was the events in the Ultimate universe) to this current Absolute universe (the one that we as players will all be writing in).

So, my questions are: 1) Is your Miles Morales (your character, not the comic versions) from a separate universe originally? 2) Are you trying to make this Miles the actual version from Earth 1610? And 3) is your intention to suggest that a similar cataclysmic event such as what was depicted in the comic's Secret Wars has occurred in the multiverse of Absolute Comics?

As GreenGrenade has mentioned, Absolute Comics follows it's own, completely separate and unique continuity. It is not beholden or linked to any previous continuities depicted in comics, shows, movies, or other roleplays. You can, and are encouraged to, base your character upon and draw inspiration from events and such depicted in the aforementioned media, but that does not mean your character would actually be from those universes.

And, to prevent any further misunderstandings, I am the Co-GM for this game, and am asking these in an official capacity, not to incite any issues. I apologize for that not having been made clear on my part, as obviously I do not have the GM tag yet.

I encourage you, DC, to further discuss with @GreenGrenade the specifics of your character, and how your intended version of Miles fits with what he envisioned for Spider-Man. I would, though, suggest that alternate universes and people traveling from them to this one not be included quite yet.

I may just leave the Spider-Man angle be as the goal isn't to make anyone uncomfortable, and simply focus on Shang-Chi and Blue Marvel's line of things amidst everything once I get their applications and story arcs in place.

Understandable, but don't feel like you can't apply for Miles. I would've just liked a more open line of communication, is all. :)

Time is variable. For all Crossover and Crises stories where I'll be providing and guiding the plot, they will be set I our present of 2017 which will be the 'Present' of the RP. But you're free to tell your solo stories as happening whenever you want. In fact, I encourage stories told in the past to help contribute to the game's lore and establish a timeline.
