Mageblood type: -Ancient (Specializes in Demonancy and pyromancy)
Favoured Magic Class: -Weaving
Previous Magic training: -A small amount of practicing (trying to control or send back salem...)
Race: -Half Wood Elf Half Esyire
Appearance:
-Veretu stands at exactly 6 feet with a lean dancer style build. His skin is relatively pale leading to a stark contrast of ebony hair and striking purple eyes. Pointed ears peek out from his hair that help him hear, but are quite a bit sensitive. His hands are tipped with slightly elongated claws instead of fingernails and they are often painted a black color. His body seems to be fairly lacking in the scale department, but has a trail of dark grey duo chrome scales going from the back of his neck down to above his hips where they break and highlight them. In certain lights they look more purple while others they appear white. On his back rests a pair of dark grey wings with black talons where the wing bends.
Apparel: -Veretu is usually dressed in clothing that allows a fair amount of movement. His upper attire consists of backless tops that tend to lack in sleeves while the bottoms are pants that mold to him and boots that nearly reach his knee. In the winter he covers up more and tend to have to cut slits into his upper wear in order to accommodate for his wings. His claws are often painted and occasionally he will rim his eyes with color (usually black), but thats the extent of his eccentric nature being shown.
Bio: Hum? Oh about me. Let's see I guess I should start all the way back huh? Well, I was born to my mother Iludis with my father no where in sight. My birth resulted in changing how my mother was treated...and myself. She took away to the edge of the territory to keep me away from everyone. Of course this did not work and well i experienced what my mother was trying to shield me from. I was basically shunned by them. Being how young I was at the time I did not understand why and my mother...she was unable to explain it to me. I could tell though with ever disgusted stare and every silent shun that it broke my mother a little bit more with each passing day.
As she grew distant from me I became used to being alone. Having no one really close to me, but i still loved my mother and kept trying to be close to her. I did the best I could with the circumstances I was given. That being said, my child hood into teenage years was quite uneventful. Just the same over and over again. Occasionally I would try with others, but they would shoot me down pretty firmly. I guess that shaped me to be who I am today.
Then, when I turned 18...it happened. At 18 I was triggered. Everything is a rather large blurry, but I remember a confrontation with my mother. She looked so devastated...it crushed me inside. I don't know what was said, but I left for awhile to try to give my mother some space. I thought I was doing the right thing. When I went back she had....I felt myself fill with such a strong sadness and depression that I just started moving. That made things more worse then better to say the least. A cat had appeared and i was so absorbed into what I was doing I didn't even think about what that meant until it jumped on me and made me see what was happening.
That is the day I learned just how fast my flying was. There were so many of them...so many demons at least to me at the time who had never dealt with demons before. I had grabbed the cat and flown off as fast as i possibly could. I am incredibly lucky that I managed to escape. After I had landed the cat and I got to talking. Turns out the cat escaped and was thanking me for providing an exit. From there we ended up forming a bond which made the cat my familiar and I gave it the name of Salem. That entire process I know have regretted for a full four years because I had no idea how to send the thing back and the cat is such a pain.
After all of that I figured out that I could go to the college and learn to study my abilities more. Which means I can send Salem back for awhile and finally get some peace and quiet. That and I plan on learning a lot and making my mother proud like I know she never was in life.
Good Attributes: (Any knacks, skills, etc. That could benefit the Character.) -Agile: Being half wood elf has given him some pretty good agility. He's bendy and as elegant as a ballerina and can parkor through trees with the best of them. -Flight: Having wings comes in handy for flying. -Hunting: Being shunned means he sometimes had to go get food for himself and his mother. He became pretty good at it, but that doesnt mean he's the best. He still misses sometimes. -Tracking: Same as hunting. -Archery: Veretu uses a bow and ironwood arrows as his preferred weapon. After all its the best for hunting in distances and therefore he's pretty good at it.
Bad Attributes: (At least one Phobia, cripple, or quirk that could hinder your character.) -Fear of becoming blind (Scotomaphobia): He hates the idea of not being able to see. Seeing is something he enjoys too much so something as simple as blindfolding him could cause him to shut down quite a bit. -Fear of small spaces (Claustrophobia): He is terrified of small confining spaces. Its not really certain what caused this phobia to become something he has, but being in small spaces especially small dark spaces terrifies him. -Fear of Abandonment (Athazagoraphobia): Being shunned and feeling like his mother died because of him has resulted in him fearing that if he does become attached to someone they would leave him as well. -Darkness: Die to the phobia of being blind and not having very good night vision, He absolutely does not like the dark. Anything darker then twilight freaks him out a bit. -Shunned: Having become used to being shunned means he is terrible at being social. As time goes on he will probably become better at interacting. -Ears: His ears are pretty sensitive which makes loud noises uncomfortable and rubbing far more enjoyment filled then a normal individual's ears. This also means grabbing and tugging on them hurts quite a bit.
Other -His breathing ability lends him an ombre purple flame.

Brief bio on meeting Oh my don't even get me started. So I was trying to escape when I saw this beacon of an opportunity in the form of some weaver who had some serious emotion problems happening. I got out and thought the dumb kid would stop. But did he? No no he didn't. Some other not as amazing demons started following the beacon just like I did so I had no choice but to jump on the guy. Luckily he grabbed me when he took off or I probably would have died. That's why I bonded with him. That is also why I will never leave him alone. I need the guy.
Abilities -A bit stronger then the average cat, but not nearly as strong as a human -Talking without requirement of telepathy -Human level intelligence -Being adorable
Previous Magic Training: Elise was learning about her blood type and magical class from her mother, but casting it wasn’t able to be used until her mother died.
Race: Human Naerse
Appearance:
That picture was adorable so I picked it but without that white cat that is in the picture. And it fit the Naerse Humans.
Elise is about 5’3” feet tall and weighs only about 105 pounds. Her birthmark is a small window into her soul that shows she’s curious. She has a birthmark on her back that is shaped as a eagle’s eye with a diamond going through it. She has a scar that starts from her left hand, goes up her arm until it reaches her mid back and circles her birthmark, showing she’s been locked into her assigned task by the Founder Irina.
She wears clothes to cover up her scar that she got when she was told her assigned task by her aunt, she is embarrassed of the scar. She wears the Cander Village’s Ambassadorial clothes that are exquisitely made and highly expensive for a normal citizen within the village to afford but she was given it by Founder Irina. The Ambassadorial clothes come with everything she requires and they are colored to be her favorite colors at the time of white, blue, and green. Out of the three colors of the clothes, blue is the trim, outer layer is blue and the inner layer is white. She was given her mother’s jeweled necklace as a gift and reminder of what happened and always look to the future instead of the past.
She wields a quiver and a longbow, with arrows that was expertly made by one of the best fletchers in town. The quiver is made of hardened leather and holds up to 40 arrows or five less and the Longbow.
Bio:
Elise was born to the Petra-Cander family, her mother was named Julia and her father is named Nathan. She learned really early on in her life that the reason her family got privileges others didn’t was because of her mother’s relation with Irina, they were twin sisters. She had problems with gaining friends unlike her mother, its because she was awkward when talking to people. Her kindness is very much similar to her mother’s though, which helped her gain some really close friends.
Her parents used to fight constantly about certain traditions within the village. She didn’t really understand what they were fighting about but it caused her to be uncomfortable or really remember why they were fighting. They did get loud, however, and the overwhelming anger the two were spouting upset her much. She was trying to get her parents attention but her father ignored her while, her mother was gently trying to calm Elise.
When Elise turned 4 years old, she learned a bit about why her father was constantly getting into fights with her mother. It was mostly about he disliked the fact, he was thinking he was marrying the Founder and not the spoiled rotten brat Julia. She learned this by paying attention to her mother complain that the arrange marriage was a mistake but it was better than not going forward with it. She heard her mother tell her about the longest ritual in Cander Village, it takes an entire month. She was confused in why it took an entire month but it was a tradition in Cander Village.
She learned some other rituals within Cander Village, and the only one that scared her was the Banishment Ritual. She learned it is different from the entire world’s way to banish people from the city or area. The Cander Village’s banishment ritual is unique since all the citizens of the village. All the people who are banished are loved and cared for before they are banished, they are allowed to say goodbye to their friends they made in the village. The Village’s Ritualist Primarch carries out the ritual’s ending and it lasts upwards to two hours.
She wanted to help her mother in the kitchen afterwards, she listened to her mother complain and talk about certain things about her village. She barely understood anything about all the things, her mother was talking about. She knew her mother wasn’t happy with her father’s dickish attitude and she was highly sensitive to anger but kept it inside of her. Her mother and her had fun cooking food but all she did was help get ingredients instead of actually cook the food, she wasn’t old enough to do that.
When Elise turned 5 years old she was highly curious about many things about her mother’s knowledge and stuff. She caught her mother cheating cleaning the house by moving the dirt and earth around. She wanted to know about it and she caught her at a good time since her father was out drinking with his friends. She wanted to know what her mother was doing and asked what it is. Her mother had a dreadful look on her face but it was gentle and kind looking towards her helpful daughter with cooking and cleaning around the house.
Her mother Julia explained, in what magic is even though it is a taboo in the Village and why Zala was afraid of it. She told her daughter she learned her bloodtype and magic class by her loud mouth of a mother, who was supposed to hide the fact that the Ritualists are cheating. The main reason why she was the favorite of the two sisters, she knew too much and had to be kept away from the role as Founder. Her mother told her of her aunt’s name, Irina I. Petra-Cander. Julia’s voice was becoming a bit more frustrated and annoyed. Julia told her daughter Elise, that Nathan was supposed to marry Irina but she was thrusted into that position instead because of her vindictive mother.
She learned the one truth within the entire Cander Village, that Zala was terrified of magic because her greedy family tried to kill her. The only ones that know of this truth is Zala’s bloodline but they get to learn it when they become Founder. The ritualists are the ones who saved Zala from being assassinated by a Geomancer, who was hired to kill her. Elise was experiencing a bit of a information overload from her mother Julia. Julia’s daughter was hungry and couldn’t believe she explained things to her daughter this well, and was a bit hungry herself. The two made something to eat and it allowed her mother to calm down from complaining to the only one that truly listens to her daughter.
When she turned 6 years old, her mother was demonstrating her geomancy to her daughter Elise in terms of moving a pebble on the ground. Her mother didn’t know if Elise would be able to get it or not but she enjoyed teaching her daughter specifically about the mageblood that flowed within her. Elise was enjoying the entire lesson of the magical training though it had to happen in the cellar of their home. She was attached to her mother teaching her about her mageblood and magic class. Her learning experience was fun and she enjoyed learning more than anything.
The magical teaching usually stopped before her father got home from doing whatever he did for the Cander Village. Elise didn’t really know what her father did besides come home drunk all the time. She went upstairs with her mother and Nathan just walked into the home with a grin on his face and yelled at Julia with a slight slur and had a sexist remark towards her. He was outright rude to Julia since he hadn’t ever forgiven the village for what they did to him, by forcing him to marry Julia over the one he truly loved Irina. Elise was crying from her father cursing up a storm at her mother. He told them the reason why he was happy and he found out a way to get rid of his problems.
The look on her mother’s face was of dread because she straight up understood what he was planning and she didn’t like it one bit. She was told by her mother to go into her bedroom, because she needs to talk to her dad and stop what he was planning right there. She walked into her room and she could hear yelling back and forth for about an hour or two. Her mother walked into her room and had a black eye and was crying at this whole ordeal. She had never saw her mother cry before, but complain was something she enjoyed doing. Her mother asked Elise if she wanted to go help her with the dinner, since she would need some help right now.
When Elise turned 8 years old, something happened that was horrible to her unhappy life constantly in the middle of her parents fighting, which completely changed her life forever. She was outside with her mother Julia, being her usual happy self until her father walked up to them. He yelled at her mother for about a split second until he completely snapped and straight up cut her down with his longsword. He looked at his daughter for a second and realized what he had done. She saw her mother mother lying down on the ground dead and she was covered in her mother’s blood. She was utterly terrified at what happened and blacked out from the shock of losing her mother.
Nathan saw this and was freaking out, he didn’t meant to kill her just scare her a bit, though he didn’t really ask the Ritualist Primarch about the Marriage Ritual. He thought of a excuse and smiled and he had about two guards walk up to him and ask what had happen. He told them a plain faced lie, that his wife was teaching their daughter magic, the biggest taboo within Cander Village. One of the Guards, was a Ritualist and walked up to Elise and touched her forehead and sighed. The Ritualist told Nathan, that he did the correct thing in killing Julia, she was indeed teaching her daughter magic. He had a bit of an aftershock to him, he was slowly falling in love with Julia, it took him too late to figure that part out.
It took about a few hours until Elise woke up from the utter shock of seeing her mother die in front of her. Her father was in her room and asked her to tell him everything. She did tell him the one thing he learned from the Ritualist. He was utterly destroyed when he realized his plan to kill his wife was easier than he thought and regretted his entire idea of doing that but it was too late. He told his daughter to stay there, he walked outside where his wife’s corpse is and picked her up, he never went for his weapon again after that.
She was in her room, until her father came back like 3 hours later and he told his daughter sorry and to forgive him for what he had done. She was too much in shock to even understand what her father was talking about and she went back to sleep. She woke up the next morning and her father was a wreck and he told her everything he had planned. She opened her eyes wide when her father told her he planned from the beginning to murder Julia but he got away scot free since that Ritualist told him that his lie was the truth.
She lost her appetite and became anguishly depressed by her mother was dead and she was going to be deeply scarred for this. She was deeply attached to her mother Julia, she saw her mother show off her magic class of Geomancy, which was two years ago. She would go to bed and would have nightmares, and when she would be awake would have flashbacks, though it was completely fresh in her mind since it happened on her eighth year of life.
When Elise turned 9 years old, she got an important visitor, it was her aunt Founder Irina. Irina walked in and Elise kinda became attached to Irina, since she looked exactly like her mother, since they were identical twins. Irina asked Nathan where is her sister and he told her the truth about what had happened. Irina had an eye opening experience that her sister was dead and the lie he said was true. Her aunt was in utter shock and hit her niece’s father multiple times but he didn’t fight back against the Founder. Elise bottled up the one emotion, but she deeply hid the one emotion because she was embarrassed of it, her anger. She never seen her father so deeply regretful and eaten up by what he had done, as if he wanted to repent for his sins.
Her aunt and her walked into the kitchen so, her aunt could calm down and fix something to eat. Her aunt was utterly devastated and looked directly at her niece as if it was her fault. She will sooner or later regret that decision to blame her niece. Irina asked her something about the things her sister told her, and she learned from there that Elise knew the truth about the entire village. Her aunt saw in her niece a bit of Julia, the contempt of their parents because it is their fault for everything. Elise was a bit happier while talking to her aunt Irina, because it gave her some insight into how the village is ran. Elise heard from her aunt about the Twilight College, where mages go to learn more about their innate abilities and talents.
Irina had no reason to hide this fact from her niece since she knows too much already and it would be plain wrong to follow protocol with her. Elise was learning a bit from her aunt and asked many questions. Her aunt answered them to the best of her abilities, even though she can’t leave Cander Village since she’s the Founder. Her aunt got a thought in her head suddenly, and felt as if that is the best way for the village to grow the fastest way possible. Irina asked her niece if she would like to go to the Twilight College and learn more about the magic that is within her. Her aunt saw her niece plainly told her yes, it would help her much. Irina had dinner with Elise and Nathan to keep the two company.
Nathan told Irina he will never wield a weapon again, and wanted to quit from the Guard, that has Ritualists in their ranks. He has to think on the entire thing he planned and other things. Irina agreed to what he had said because it was utterly devastating that the best of their guards was utterly shaken with what he had done. Elise heard this and was utterly shocked by what her father had said out loud that he’s giving up wielding a weapon.
When Elise turned 11 years old, she was asked by her father to go get something to eat at the market. She was given enough money to buy the things she needed and she was feeling a bit better from all the stuff she had to deal with. She felt like she was slowly getting passed her mother’s death, to finally move on, but her father in contrast was getting worse. She tried to look at the brighter side but her entire posture was a bit too much alike, she was still depressed but tried. She bumped into her aunt at the market and she smiled at her. She learned of thing that her aunt was about to announce in a few hours, since this was a special announcement. Her aunt did definitely notice her niece was underweight and the sight was depressing her.
Irina announced that Cander Village will be sending an ambassador to the Twilight College, but the problem is, the age requirement for the college. She asked her niece to come up on the stand, and she told everyone in Cander Village, that the one who will be going to the Twilight College as an Ambassador is Julia’s daughter Elise. She told everyone that it was the best idea and to move the village into a good direction. However, it will require a ritual to make it official, the scarring ritual. Elise was a bit terrified when she first heard of the scarring ritual and was shaken at the announcement.
Everyone within the Village was startled that the Scarring ritual will be used for something important. Though they learned the reason for Irina’s sudden wanting to have a College Ambassador is because of what she learned when she visited her sister’s home. That the best damned guardsman straight up murdered her sister, but he found out that she was teaching her daughter, Magic. Therefore, the villagers were torn completely at this announcement but all of them in unison said, Elise’s full name and gratefully told her sorry for her lost. The entire village came together to show that Irina’s decision in doing this is better for her niece, then protocol.
Elise had a big gentle smile on her face and told everyone you’re welcome, to the citizens of Cander Village. She had a kindness that was unprecedented in Cander Village. She told her fellow citizens that she will do great as an Ambassador. She was stunned but with this overwhelming emotion of love from everyone, she wished her mother could have lived.
When Elise turned 13 years old, she started to do something a bit strange, she would go out to events in the Festival of Rituals, she had to do something else to make her forget about her mother’s death. And that was the longbow activities within the Festival, she was having fun but her father wouldn’t get out of bed to do the Festival. She learned a lot of fun things happen in the Festival, her bottled up anger was a slight problem, it has been building ever since, she was much younger. She went back home after winning a prize for her father, and walked into the bedroom and tried to wake up her father again because the last time she tried he didn’t move.
The realization finally hit her, when she checked his pulse, the realization sank in, that her father passed away. This utterly stunned her, and she snapped, her anger and rage poured out all at once and she literally said, the one thing she always wanted to say to her father. She said, I hate you for taking away my mother I hope you go to where you belong. She regretted everything she had said and was completely out of it. She never wanted anything like this to happen. She ran outside, and went directly to the Cander Estate.
There was the Ritualist Primarch outside, and saw Elise crying and utterly devastated for some odd reason. She saw the Ritualist Primarch and explained what had happened. The Ritualist Primarch was Nathan’s family and she was a beautiful female that wore the ritualist clothes well, the primarch’s name is Linda R. Airwalker. Linda was utterly devastated when she heard that her older brother passed away and his daughter was right here in front of her crying uncontrollably. Linda panically knocked on the Estate until, the Founder answered the door.
Irina opened the door and wondered what the Primarch wanted and noticed her niece outside utterly crying and couldn’t understand what was going on. Irina learned of Nathan L. Airwalker’s passing by his younger sister’s recounting of Elise’s story. Irina allowed Elise to live with her in the Cander Estate, since Nathan was utterly devastated and couldn’t get passed the guilt of killing Julia.
Elise started to drink, since she had two traumatic experiences in five years, so she wants to completely forget all the pain she feels. She didn’t notice this, but since her anger was released she does feel much better. She was devastated that she didn’t tell her father off sooner, to show him that he shouldn’t have died on her. Irina saw the prize she got her father and it was a stuffed animal, that looks like a cute adorable kitten. Irina walked out of the home and talked to Linda for a bit planning that she wants her niece to be blindfolded through the entire six hours of the scarring ritual. Linda nodded since she saw the deaths of both of her parents, and it will be too much of a mental break for her if she has to see her skin scarred and the color she’s absolutely afraid of.
Irina walked back into the house, and she saw her niece sleeping on the couch, though she did drink herself to sleep. She picked up her niece and put her in a nice comfy bed and allowed her to sleep. She was utterly shocked that the two people she loved are now dead, Nathan and her twin sister Julia. She decided to stop blaming her niece for all her problems, it was her own dumb fault in not showing her feelings sooner.
Tomorrow rolled around and Elise, woke up and saw her aunt sitting on her bed looking directly at her with a bit of regret in her eyes. Irina told her the biggest heartbreaking story of all time, that she didn’t tell the two people she loved deeply the truth. She told her niece that she will be more honest with herself, and told Elise, that after she comes back from the Ambassadorial duties of the Twilight College. She will make her niece feel love, as of a mother’s love. Elise smiled happily and hugged her aunt tightly.
When Elise turned 16 years old, a shock to her system happened but it wasn’t as severe as losing both her parents. She got over her father’s death much faster than her mothers, since they weren’t that close, and was relapsing back into depression over her mother’s death. It only took her father to die to do that, she was drinking her sorrows away. She was told to put on the scarring rituals clothes but after she put on the clothes she was blindfolded. She was scarred on her body but it wasn’t that painful scarring unlike when someone is banished. It was gentler to a point but she was there for six hours straight until it was completed.
The ritualists bandaged her up and told her to take it easy but don’t take off the blindfold or do any extra activities until it is fully healed. They told her it will take at least three months until it's fully healed. She was told this by Linda, who helped her back to the Cander Estate and laid her into her bed, gently. She was told it’s not as bad as it’ll look, the scarring ritual is a right of passage. She waited the allotted time frame, to take off the blindfold, her aunt was taking really good care of her, even though she couldn’t see throughout those three months since she had to keep on a blindfold.
She had much to think about while she was healing as they told her, every single thing about what happened at her old home. She was reflecting and hoping she finds someone that will love her for her and not a title or glory. She had lacked something within her life, being loved by her father, he was pretty much never around when she needed him. She was primarily mommy’s little girl and those moments was the happiest thing of her life but that’s why she still felt deep sadness and depression for whenever she thinks back to that horrible tragedy. She had many nightmares throughout her three months and realized she was relapsing back into her grief.
Three months passed and she was allowed to see and she was utterly shocked when she saw the scar on her arm. She couldn’t stop herself from crying since that scar felt like a reminder of the hole in her heart, the deep pain of having both of her parents gone. She has someone that takes care of her now but it isn’t the same as her bright and loving mother. She was approached by her aunt and allowed to cry on her aunt’s shoulders. Her aunt had a small case on her and showed it to her niece Elise. Elise was a bit confused in what it meant, but she opened the case and saw a beautiful necklace within it. She blinked for a bit and asked is this for me, and her aunt answered yes. She was shivering with excitement and allowed her aunt to put on the necklace around her neck. Her aunt did that and told her to always look to the future instead of the past.
She was utterly grateful to her aunt and knew that she needs to stop feeling sorry for herself and get going. Her aunt had another gift for her, but it was at the Fletcher’s shop, owned by good ole Jerry E. Waters. Her aunt told her that she must’ve done good to win that stuffed kitten, that is made up of wool and not a real cat. Elise shook her head yes, she won it fair and square too. Her aunt told her, that she has no longer have to borrow a bow from the Festival grounds. Elise was happy about the entire ordeal, she got something good out of the deal. She hugged her aunt and walked out of the Estate and went to the Fletcher’s shop.
The Fletcher’s shop was a pretty extremely well known traveler destination since Jerry makes a quality all their own type of arrows, that are extremely well crafted. He saw the bright eyed and beautiful looking Elise walk up to his shop. He smiled towards her and asked what does she want. She told him that she’s here for her gift. He smiled gently towards Elise and took out the Longbow with Hardened Leather Quiver and 35 arrows within the quiver. She looked over the quiver and all the other things and she was amazed at the craftsmanship since it was better than the loaner bows you can get in the Festival. She had a happy smile on her face and told him thank you for the hard work he had done. He thanked her for the compliment and told her to run along now.
She went to the training grounds, where the bow competition is usually held and started to train with her longbow. She stayed there for about an hour but she made sure she didn’t hurt any of the arrows. She went to the archery training target and looked at her work and she did worse than she wanted to. She wondered if she was the best at the archery because no one actually truly good did it. She put all the arrows she used back into the quiver. She had a small smile on her face and went back to her aunt’s home. She enjoyed the gifts her aunt gave her and wanted to thank her.
She came home and told her aunt thank you and hugged her aunt. Her aunt was happy to see her niece a bit happier and she helped her niece to put her quiver with her arrows and bow by the front entrance. She was happy that all this happened to her and she was going to never forget all the stuff that her aunt had done for her.
When Elise turned 17 years old, she was sitting in the front room drinking some alcohol by the fireplace reading a book that had no title. She overheard her aunt talking to a courier about anything for her name Irina or Elise. The courier told her a package was for her sister Julia, and it was eerie to get a package for someone who died. Elise heard her mother’s name and walked up to the courier. Irina was dead silent because this is the first time anything like this happened. The courier looked and gave Elise the package and told her to open it gently.
Elise opened her mother’s package and it was gently like the courier told her. It was strange there was only beautiful casual clothes with a note on it. She saw it as, the Geoflower Family sends its regards to the age old question, we are sorry for trying to cause the ancestor of this village such harm. She had a eerie look on her face, because she doesn’t know why her mother was receiving messages from a family as crass as the Geoflower family. The Geoflower family had been greedy for the longest times.
Irina was a bit shocked to hear about this too because she didn’t think her sister had a secret this big. Her aunt wondered what is going on with her sister but she saw the dress and was in awe. Elise was also since it was her size, and it looked noble in make and design. However, it was too dressy for her. She gave it to her aunt and saw a ps, this is for your daughter after all we deserve to owe you all for helping us realize our ways were bad. She saw that and had a smile on her face but a fake one. She thanked the courier for the package. The Courier left and sighed to learn the fact that Julia was dead.
When Elise turned 18 years old, she was getting ready for her big day to go to the Twilight College for the one thing she wanted to do and tasked. She was supposed to learn about how to control her magic abilities better. She was given to her by her aunt, the Ambassadorial outfit to wear on her way to the Twilight College. It is much nicer and beautiful looking on Elise over on anyone else since she fits it very perfectfully. She had many regrets and cautionary tales from her village. She was deathly afraid of leaving a place she knows like the back of her hand. Her nervousness is going to get the better of her sooner or later.
She equipped put her quiver and longbow on her back and hugged her aunt goodbye. She was given a farewell by everyone in her town, she knew where to exactly go since it is Northwest of her hometown. And the college was expecting her even though she is quite terrified of meeting new people. She didn’t really know what to expect when she will reach the Twilight College. All she knows it is where mages go and learn about their magical class and bloodtype.
She was a pretty picky eater when she was at her hometown village and she hasn’t really changed much, but her eating habits are a bit worse since she ignores red vegetables and fruits because of her natural fear of red. It exudes off of her that she is afraid of something. She took an alcoholic beverage or two with her to drink, even though she nurses her drink rather than down it in one gulp.
Good Attributes:
Archery Training - She self taught herself to use a longbow and arrow since didn’t want to be constantly reminded about the weapon that cut down her mother right in front of her. She uses it for self-defense and do fun festival activities that require a bow to use in the Festival of Rituals. She can hit stationary targets easier than moving targets.

Bad Attributes:
Erythrophobia - The Fear of Red is what Elise has majorly, it is stricken into her bones mostly because of the traumatic experience of what happened to her mother. Petra-Cander went into Self-Exile and the real reasons for her fear of magic. The last one to know this was, Elise.
Zala changed her name from Geoflower to Petra-Cander, to keep out of reach of her corrupted family that tried to kill her. She even allowed anyone who is a Founder to know the truth of their mageblood and magic class, since she was saved from being killed by the Ritualist Mercenaries. Out of everything, the Founders try to keep the secret they know the truth while everyone else within the Village is in the dark.

Name: The Cander Village
Type: Small City
Description: The Cander Village was founded by the mysterious woman of Zala I. Petra-Cander, and a group of Mercenaries by the name of the Ritualists. She wanted to create a home that is far out of the reach of her greedy family. She was almost killed by her family when they sent one of their top Geomancers out to find and kill her. This is where she learned there is a darker side of magic, that assassins can be everywhere. She was saved by the Ritualists, the band of Mercenaries that were passing by and they showed kindness to Zala. She had help from the Ritualists to build the symbol of Cander Village, the Cander Estate. Cander Estate was in the direct center of the village and it had a statue of her and three statues of Ritualists that saved her.
Zala created eight laws for the village and they stood the test of time so far. She was highly terrified of magic and put a taboo on Magically Training your children in any and all knowledge of magic. She was highly xenophobic of other races and only wanted a full Naerse Human population. Her laws was much more strict than they are now. She had created some Rituals and created the Ritualists as a cultural image within the Village. The Rituals are the traditions, while the laws and customs are more important to the foundation to the village.
The only thing that was set in stone was the banishment ritual, it was a two hour ritual for the kindest farewell party ever. All the Citizens enjoyed this banishment ritual over all others, and that’s why many Naerse Humans joined the village. There was a big catch to this entire thing, the only people allowed to know about magic are the Founders and Ritualist Primarchs. This allowed the knowledge of magic to be known only to the Petra-Cander Bloodline and Ritualist Primarchs. The Founder has absolute power within the village since she’s the one who makes the laws or changes them.
The Cander Village has been around for 240 years since its founding. They have been relaxing on their xenophobic ways but they are completely in the same mindset about magic as Zala is. Zala’s descendant is in charge of Cander Village by the name of Irina I. Petra-Cander. She lives in the Cander Estate and rules a bit more gently than the original founder did. Her imagination is large and she sits down and paints on a canvas, about different parts of the Village. She altered many of the eight laws and customs some to be much more strict and others to be as free as possible.
Irina declared two of the laws and customs, sacred laws. They cannot ever be changed from her wording and they are culturally important to Cander Village’s Future. Irina enjoys her power over her people but she rewards the faithful but punishes the non-faithful to the laws and customs in her village. The Ritualists and the Ritualist Primarch keeps up the traditions within the village very strongly and make sure no one strays from the path that was set along ago. In terms, most people call Irina a gentlewoman whom could take care of you, other times she’s an utter bitch and constantly moody when things don’t go her way. She wants to stay within her town and allow the world go forward.
Irina has been trying to find out ways she can keep her family from faltering since the Founder is the soul of the village, while the Ritualists are the boundless spirit of the village. She has heard of the Twilight College of Magic and was interested in going but that was before she became the Founder. She knows there’s only one way to fix everything of this village and that is do something a bit dramatic to get her niece out of the town. The Ritualist Primarch agreed with her assessment that this village needs to radically change for the better than slowly change over time.

If you are caught in teaching or training you will be executed by someone you loved and whoever you are teaching will be banished. The banished one will be allowed to return to take their vengeance on the one who killed the one they loved closely. Irina declares this a sacred law, since everyone within Cander Village is afraid of magic.
Marriage - The Marriage law within the Cander Village is harsh. You can only marry Naersians that live within the Cander Village. If you are caught dating or trying to marry another race, you are disowned by your family and banished from the village. Naerse Humans from outside can join the Cander Village if they follow their traditions.
Murder - There's a strict law against murder in Cander Village. The penalty for murder is execution. In addition, the murder crime has been lowered because of the strict law against it. However, there's murder only in terms of Magical Training, since everyone in Cander Village is afraid of magic. Irina deems the Magical Training Law as a Sacred law that must be uphold at all costs or they might lose their way.
Profession - Everyone within Cander Village has to get told their profession from Irina. She checks up on your aptitude for certain crafts, or etc and you are stuck in that profession for about 10 to 15 years of your life. However, if you don’t want to follow the advice from Irina you will be banished.

Trading - You can trade with any trader or caravan that comes from another race without any consequences. However, you cannot trade a priceless family heirloom, since they have no trading value to the the caravans and traders. Irina considers this as a sacred law that cannot ever be changed back to the original wording from her ancestor Zala.
The Rituals within the Cander Village is the traditions that were brought from where Zala I. Petra-Cander came from originally. These are only able to be carried out by the Ritualists within the village and they are chosen by the Founder to ritualize everyone with the many different rituals within. The Ritualist Primarch has the highest honor to do certain sets of rituals. The other ritualists are allowed to do the easier and less involved rituals.
Marriage Ritual - The marriage ritual takes an entire month of the appropriate time frame before it becomes Summertime, it is usually held in Spring. The Ritualist Primarch prepares the wedding part of the marriage ritual while the two that are going to be joined in the ritual, has to disallow themselves from feelings for another and put their entire heart and soul in the joining. No one is allowed to divorce from their wife or husband. This ritual is the oldest within the tradition where Zala came from.
Banishment Ritual - The banishment ritual only takes two hours and it happens anytime if anyone breaks the law, where they can be banished. The banishment ritual is a goodbye ritual where all the citizens are allowed to say goodbye and regretfully losing one of their citizens. This is the most friendly of all the rituals within Cander Village and it is also proudly given the most care to make sure people feel not as regretful if they are banished from the village. The Ritualist Primarch is the gracious host, while the Founder is the one that says her goodbyes to the people banished.
Scarring Ritual - The Scarring Ritual takes six hours and it happens only if a person is banished from Cander Village. Their birthmark is sealed via a painful procedure, that will draw blood. If someone is scarred already by seeing someone die in front of them, they will take precautions to keep sure that the people will not freak out by blood. The Ritualists with the most experience for this ritual are chosen and the Ritualist Primarch talks to the one that is being scared to keep them from freaking out from the pain. The scar starts from their dominant hand all the way to surrounding their birthmark. The Scarring ritual is only used for two type, the Banishment Ritual or tasks given to you by the Founder that are highly important.
Leadership Ritual - The leadership ritual is different from all other rituals since it picks the next Founder for the village. The Ritualist Primarch is given the task to help the old founder to pick their successor. The new founder is told her future by the old founder by one way or another and that shapes their laws even though they cannot truly start changing the old ways until they have reached the age of 16. The youngest founder started her task at 8 years old, and that is Irina I. Petra-Cander. When the Founder is allowed to change the laws, is that they are taking the Cander Village in a direction different from the last founder and are truly considered the Founder. Founders are allowed to do things since they are the soul of Cander Village.
Festival of Rituals - This is a fun event within the Cander Village, it is held similarly to the Banishment Ritual but it has a different tone, instead of a sad depressing tone it is much more happier. The Ritualists hold this festival in the Winter season, the primary person who starts the festival off is the Founder with a speech that inspires the people to have fun. The next person who speaks is the Ritualist Primarch, he or she usually talks about the upholding the laws and the traditions of Cander Village.
Alignment: Neutral. Cander Village sees Eania & Djarkel as trading partners and that is it. As long as these two nations respect their customs, the traders from the nations will be respected and protected as apart of their small contribution in keeping their neutrality. However, Cander Village is xenophobic since they want to keep themselves pure Nearsian. Irina I. Petra-Cander is the direct descendant of Zala, the founder of Cander Village, who was a mysterious woman that was running from her past. Irina keeps friendly relations with both nation’s capitals.
Location: The location of Cander Village is on the border of Eania and Djarkel. It is near the Darnan Forest and has a green landscape, which is great for the crops they harvest. It has jagged stone pillars raised up in certain places in the four corners of the village. It is southeast from the Twilight College.
