Whitney Carlyle

Location: Community Center -> P&W's Diner

She hadn't really planned to go eat after this, but she couldn't shake the hunger she felt. She welcomed the company. She never liked eating alone anyway. "PW's is fine. I'll admit, much as I want food, I wouldn't say no to one of their milkshakes either." She smiled at that thought. She had a big sweet tooth. She made her way to her car before she realized that she drove alone. Did Felicia have a car? "Should we ride together or just meet up there?"

Either way, she made her way to the diner with ease. She stepped outside and walked into the diner. Instantly, she remembered the good times she had here with her mother. Her mother would take her here often whenever her dad got in one of his moods. It was best she have a good memory before returning to the bad.

She sighed inwardly before she sat down with Felicia in one of the booths. She grabbed a menu and began browsing. She normally opted for lighter fare, but she really wanted something big. Perhaps a burger?

Scarlett Cromwell

Location: Community Center
{"Have fun in hell, bitch!"}

Scarlett had no reaction to Donald's words. Most would've been horrified but she merely smiled sweetly, though her smile was simultaneously venomous. She was like the tales of the sirens--beautiful yet horrific. She didn't bat an eye at the thought of her bestie being killed in a ritualistic sacrifice. It didn't even appear initially that she registered the doctor's presence, though Scarlett turned and gazed at him. A professor of business administration? That just meant he was a fuck up who couldn't succeed on his own. Those who can't do, teach and all that.

"Nah, you've told me plenty, agent," Scarlett scoffed. She was just itching to slash the man's tires. He hadn't given her much in the way of useful information, beyond the fact that apparently some cult had killed Lucy. That wasn't something that she expected, despite her own affiliation with dark magic. While she was a natural witch and didn't require the help of demons for magic, she easily could've been called a Satanist. It was the closest description of her mental state, beyond a general desire to get what she wanted and take from everyone else, all while being adored.

"Good luck with the Satanic cult," Scarlett said, as she turned on her heels and started to head out. "I'm sure they'll eat you alive or some shit."

Felicia nodded with a smile at the mention of having a milkshake, she usually wasn't one to overindulge but a milkshake sounded damn good right about now. In fact, just the thought of having a milkshake was enough to make her feel even hungrier, so when she was offered a ride there was only a second or so of thoughtful hesitation before she answered.

"I'll ride with you, if it's really ok with you," She replied gratefully. Her parents had driven off with the car awhile ago already, so she didn't have any way to get to the diner on her own. She wasn't typically the kind of person to just accept rides from strangers, but the need for food was beginning to cloud her judgment. Still, the student in front of her didn't seem like a bad person, so there couldn't be much harm in it, right? Either way, she got in the car's passenger seat and rode along for the short distance to the diner. Felicia momentarily began contemplating on what she should get; she was definitely still getting that milkshake, but she wondered if it would be enough. She was going to be ordering a bigger meal than usual, that was for sure.

Once they arrived, the two of them exited the car and began to make their way to the Diner's entrance.

"You know, it's actually been awhile since I last came here," Felicia commented, "Almost...jeez, almost two years now, I think." She smiled awkwardly for a moment before deciding to finally introduce herself. "I just realized I still haven't told you my name. I'm Felicia, I volunteer as the editor for the school newspaper so we probably saw each other a few times there."

The professor's eyes slyly darted back and forth as the conversation ensued between the teen and the detective. As the two exchanged a few heated words, the professor merely stood by with his hands idly in his pockets; listening to the conversation like the man that he was, eavesdropping in plain sight. He wasn't planning on sticking around the facility for much longer. He originally had come by to introduce himself, to seem a bit more transparent with the detective, to familiarize himself with him in case he had any further questions, but also to assist the case with this strange internal urge that obliged him to do so.

As the teen turned her head, and proceeded in leaving the room. The professor saw the time to chime in; "Lovely weather we're having.", he said to the detective, as if to lighten the mood. Albeit, there was no smile or facial expression from the lukewarm professor, which lessened the effect to a degree.

"Now, detective; do you have any further questions?", he said, "If not, I'll wish you good luck in your investigation, and take my leave."

The Lumber Mill: One by one, each of Alice's bullets slammed into the body of her attacker. He stumbled back, blood dripping down onto the the road beneath his feet as he dropped his axe to one hand. He took one more step forward, then another, before the man dropped to a knee. He looked up towards Alice then, looking tied and in pain, all before his eyes blinked and turned a deep black, a smile beginning to split his lips as he moved to stand once more. With a tremendous amount of force, the man brings up his foot in a kick, the force of it sending Alice flying back into a nearby tree, luckily she keeps hold of her gun, and her injuries are minor, but the man is making his way back toward her, black-eyed and unphased by his injuries. As Mariana comes out, she can't quite see the black eyes of the man, but she can see him walking towards the now-downed officer, axe in his hand.

P&W's Diner: Outside P&W's, the parking lot is full, it seems plenty of people had decided to make their way to the diner after the meeting. However, as the girls move inside, they are assaulted by a horrifying smell, and an even more horrid sight. Bodies litter the diner, in the seats and the booths, food is scattered everywhere and covers the faces and hands of almost every individual. Pills and medicine are scattered on the floor, ultimately, the place looks like the sight of some horrible, fatal food frenzy. Everything seems to have only occurred recently, but there is the unmistakable scent from outside the community center, mixed in with the smell of food and death.

August Street: The woman that Jennifer approached seemed to be recovering relatively quickly from her encounter. Though initially, her breathing was quick and panicked, it has already begun to calm down, and as she watched Jennifer move closer, he reached out in a gentle calming motion, almost trying to help relax the nurse instead. "I'm okay, he just offered me a ride and then attacked me out of nowhere..." She explained in almost a meek tone, running a hand through her hair as she nodded. The woman herself seems relatively okay, aside from a few grazes and cuts on her hands, elbows and jaw. "I should be okay, I just want to get home, can you walk me to my car? It's just around the corner." The girl already moved to stand, before she stopped herself. "Oh, I'm Lauren, thanks for uh, trying to help..." Overall, she appears to have been taking her attack rather well.

Donald Baker

Location: Silver Falls Community Center

Donald kept his gaze on Scarlett after he had dismissed her, curious to see if she would proffer any reaction other than the kind he had expected. He found himself with a general sense of unease about her, but he held back his desire to learn what more she could have been hiding. As she walked off, he let out a sigh and glanced back towards Richard then, almost giving a half-hearted shrug as if to apologize for the way she had been acting, as if it were somehow Donald's responsbility.

He couldn't help but chuckle at the professor's words, but shook his head at the man's question. "I don't believe I do for now, but if you recall anything more detailed about Lucy's interest in the book of revelations, or see anything odd, I'd appreciate you stopping by the sherrif's office." The smile on Donald's face held an almost childish naivety. As he stood there speaking with the professor and Scarlett, he had been oblivious to the messages which had failed to reach his phone, of the horrors that were beginning to spread through town.

Of the hell which had become Silver Falls.

Mariana Garcia

Location: The Lumber Mill.
Interacting With: No one

When Mariana rounded the corner she stopped for a moment when she noticed the man with the axe started to approach the fallen officer, biting her lip for a moment as she thought about turning around and leaving the officer to fend for herself. But she wasn't going to let that happen at all, as she started to make her way closer, trying to be as quiet and moving as quickly as she could. Drawing out her own handgun, Mariana aimed down the sights of it, and started to open fire on the man, firing around five shots. Either that would end up killing the axe wielding man or it would just make him that much angrier.

"Hey you over there!" Mariana suddenly yelled, trying to get the man's attention to pull away from the fallen officer, she wasn't going to let the officer die. There were way to many bodies out here already, and she didn't even know what the cause of their sudden violent urge to kill each other. "Hey cop woman wake up!" Mariana said, as she fired two more shots at the axe wielding man, hoping that at least one of the shots would be able to take him down.

Alice Olson

Location:Outside the Lumbermill

The felt the recoil of her pistol as she killed the lumberjack man infront of her. He dropped to one knee, taking his last breath. The officer felt nothing, not yet. Her body was still buzzing with adrenaine, her skin was bumpy, her small hairs standing on end. She made eyecontact with the dying man. He blinked. In her mind, the man pitched forward, dying in the dirt.

The man opened his eyes, and he gazed upon her, not with the gaze of a man, but with the gaze of pure evil. That smile. Oh, God. Dumbfounded, she stood there as he erupted forth from his kneeling position, slamming his boot into her stomach. The wind was forced from her lungs.

"Oopmh!" Her feet left the ground for a brief instant from the sheer force. The instant lasted for an eternity. She looked at her arms trailing behind her. Her ponytail had wrapped around the side of her head and the brown hair was peaking in from the right side of her vison. The firearm went off as her hand clenched, the index finger pulling the trigger.

Her heels touched down, and the inertia yanked her down onto her tail-bone, which in turn yanked down her bad. Vision purpling, body sliding, she slammed into a tree with the rest of her momentum. Her head was propped up against the base of the tree, her ponytai still curled around and laying near the top of her chest. She had a perfect view of the oncoming evil. In her peripheral mind, she saw a woman doing something, but all she could focus on was the hatred incarnate with an axe. So sadistic in it's triumph.

Now recumbant on the ground, with perhaps not enough time to get up, she raised her handgun and fired the last two bullets of her clip. Then, she tried to read the man, hoping that he would immediately attempt to bring the axe down, for as soon as she fired she threw her weight to her right, attempting to roll quickly out of the way and scramble to her feet. All she could was hope she was quick enough and the evil was angry enough to fall for it.

Jennifer Wolgast

Location:Outside of 9th August Street

Jennifer smiled warmly, though her heart still beat quickly.

"Oh, yes, of course. I can walk you there. My name is Jennifer, nice to meet you, Lauren." She said chipperly, extending a hand to help the young woman up.

"We'll just leave that nasty man here. I'm sure the police will take care of him. I'm just glad you're alright!" Said Jennifer. As she walked, Jennifer looked down at her self. She saw her loungewear, her bare feet, and wigged her toes. She turned to go back to her house to fetch some proper clothes, but her eyes fell on the unmoving man on the ground and prickles of fear raced up her spine. Finding herself unable to walk forward, her face turned to Lauren.

"Oh, um, do you have a house? Or somewhere to stay? Can I stay with you until the police come to uh, ask us questions? I don't think I'd be comfortable with..." She gestured vaguely at the disaster. "...that...infront of my home. And my powers out. My phone doesn't work, because of that. So I can't- can't really call the police!" She laughed nervously.

She bit her lower lip. "I don't want to be a bother, though." She finished, her voice low and sheepish.

Scarlett Cromwell

Location: Outside the Community Center

Scarlett huffed a bit as she got outside. She curled her fist, causing a few stray pebbles on the ground to swirl in a circle before scattering off. Sometimes it was hard for her to control her temper. And by sometimes, it was more accurate to say all of the time. She didn't like not getting her way and she liked it even less when people clearly didn't realize who she was. The most insulting part was that Lucy didn't even seem to be able to get murdered properly.

But regardless of the fact, if there was a cult in town, she had to know about it. She didn't feel like being a sacrificial victim and she'd prefer to manage the cult, anyways. They might be in need of strong leadership and if it got more people to adore her, so be it. She lived for the applause, for people complimenting her - didn't matter if it was in fear or if it was genuine. Everyone who said it wasn't the same if it was terror was bullshitting themselves and was probably too ugly to shag with anything that was still breathing, in Scarlett's opinion.

She walked forward until she came upon a bench. Taking a quick glance around, Scarlett reached into her bag and pulled out her pendulum. She found it was always useful to carry one around with her. Reaching into her bag, Scarlett frowned deeply. "Shit," she grumbled. The pendulum answer chart wasn't on hand. Pinching her nose, she thought quickly up a solution. It'd limit the answers she could get, but fuck, she didn't care at the moment.

"Okay, spirits, listen up you little bitches. I don't got the answer key here with me, so we're gonna make this work. Clockwise spin means yes. Counterclockwise spin means no. Swinging from left to right, straight line, means don't know. Got it?" Honestly, did she have to kill a cunt to get some answers around here?

Whitney Carlyle

Location: P&W's Diner

Whitney thought of all the possible things she could eat here until she set foot in the door. What happened after that would be the end of the happy memories at P&W's Diner. What first hit her was the smell. The similar smell that she noticed outside the community center with the men and the van.

Then she noticed the scene.

It was like a horror movie scene. There were people in booths, on the floor, at the counters. But all of them, dead. She wanted to scream, she wanted to throw up. Neither were coming out. Instead, she took in the scene and quickly grabbed Felicia and took her back outside.

She took a minute to collect herself before she spoke. She had many thoughts racing through her head. If the death of Lucy wasn't any indication of terrible events to follow for this town, this was the next step. "There's no mistake. That's the same smell we smelled outside the center. I think you can put two and two together as I did. Those men we saw. The smell went away when they left. They had to have....done this. Or at least knew about it. We need to go back to the center and find that FBI agent. He needs to be made aware of this. And call the police."

If nothing else were to happen, she would wait for Felicia as they made their way to her car to speed back to the community center.

Location: Community Center

Richard smiled mildly to the detective; "Then, I'll be on my way.", said he, before turning around, and proceeding in walking out of the room; "Best of luck, Detective.", spoke back the professor, before disappearing down the hallway with the exception of the clacking of his dress shoes. As Richard walked down the hallway, his stomach low-key grumbled, having skipped lunch to attend the town hall meeting and speak with the detective. He was quite obviously hungry, but the considerable absence of people and the quiet of the community center was off-putting. The professor hadn't been exposed to the horrors that the rest of the town was likely facing, as he had been preoccupied with his talk.

As he made his way out, he'd stumbled over the idea of perhaps utilizing the college's literary resources for an in-depth study of the Book of Revelations, out of the odd, low-key internal obligation that spun in his stomach to assist with the ongoing investigation. He shook off the matter for the time-being, storing the idea in the back of his head, as food was on his mind, and was quite frankly tired of dealing with the investigation as it spun his mind, and made him quite agitated.

Eventually, Richard had made his way out of the community center, as he opened, and pushed through the community center's double door front entrance, and out into the parking lot. Whatever the condition of the exterior, (presumably, practically vacant, as indicated from the previous mentions of the community center's exterior), Richard made his way over to his 1985 BMW Sedan. Opening the door, he casually stepped in, and started the ignition. Richard then turned over his seat, placing a hand over the opposite seat's headrest, before inevitably placing the Sedan in reverse, and then subsequently backing out of the community center parking lot.

Felicia Astrid

Location: P&W's Diner

Whatever pleasant conversation the two of them could have had ended before it could begin, as once they entered the diner they were met with an otherworldly and gruesome scene that prompted a horrified gasp from Felicia. The nightmarish sight of all the blood and death, combined with the strangeness of the food and medication messily strewn about, was enough to make it all seem too surreal to be real. But despite how crazy it appeared to be, it was without a doubt real. She couldn't just see it, she could also smell it, and the mixture of all the different scents on its own was making her nauseous enough to want to vomit. She took a step back, ready to get the hell out of the building and run as far away as she could, but before she knew it the student she'd arrived with was already pulling her away.

"Oh Jesus, holy shit," Felicia exclaimed the moment they returned back outside, eyes wide as she stared at the diner while still continuing to step away and put some distance between her and it. She peeled her eyes away for a moment to glance around herself out of habit, noticing only that the parking lot was full and there didn't seem to be any other people around at the moment. She momentarily thought to call out for help, but figured it likely wouldn't do any good anyway. Countless people had just died, what could anyone do right now besides call the police? And that wasn't even mentioning that it was possible that they'd all been murdered, and the killer could still be nearby. Screaming out into the streets was not the answer right now.

Fortunately, the young blonde accompanying her had been taking the past few moments to collect herself and think the situation through. She offered up a theory and a plan, neither of which Felicia was about to disagree with.

"Ok, good, you smelled it too. I'm not just going crazy then," The brunette replied as she began to try to slowly calm herself down, "You're right, we need to tell that agent, like right now." They quickly made their way back to the car before getting in and preparing to drive back to the Community Center. With a slightly shaky hand, Felicia went to grab for her pack of cigarettes but stopped herself, mentally telling herself that she needed to stay focused right now and that the smoke could wait.

"Christ, what the hell is happening to this town?" Felicia sighed anxiously, glancing into the passenger side mirror to look back at the diner for any signs of movement as they began to leave, "Lucy was one thing, but this? This is just insane!" She paused as a scary thought entered her mind.

"...Do you think the smell caused it? Whatever it is that happened back there?" Her stomach tightened from more than just hunger. The implications of what the sulfuric scent could possibly cause were terrifying, to say the least. If it had somehow caused those deaths, then what was going to happen to them?

The Lumber Mill: As Mariana took her shots, they each slammed into the back of Olson's attacker, the man still stumbling a few steps forward as he kept a tight grip on his weapon, the black void of his eyes intently focused on her even as blood poured from his body. Yet by the fifth shot, he dropped to a knee once more, panting. Before Alice could even get her shots off, the man reared his head back, opening his mouth wide as black smoke began to billow out of him, flying up into the air and back towards the lumber mill, heading over the buildings and out of sight of the two, as the body of the mill worker would collapse, still and unmoving. The two women would hear a scream shortly afterwards from the lumber mill, in the same direction the smoke had travelled.

P&W's Diner: The two girls are lucky as no one around seems to notice the two of them speaking, or what has occurred inside the diner. The parking lot remains eerily empty and quiet, but before long a car starts up and begins to drive off. The two are able to get a clear enough look, recognising the same black escalade from the community center. The windows are tinted too darkly for them to see anyone within, but they don't seem to have been noticed as the car makes its way down the street, away from the diner. If the girls still chose to head to the community center, they would get there just in time to see the FBI Agent coming out nad heading to his car.

August Street: Glancing over to Jennifer, Lauren gave her a nod as she took the hand offered, pulling herself to her feet. As she listened to Jennifer speak, a polite smile crossed her face and she nodded. "My house isn't too far, sure." She'd say, beginning to walk down the street alongside Jennifer. Before long, the two reached the end of the street and turned the corner, Lauren walking towards her parked car at the end of the block. It was a crimson red 1965 Mustang, pristine and well cared-for. Carefully, Lauren unlocked the car and climbed into it, waiting for Jennifer to climb in as well.

Outside the Community Center: The wind is soft outside as Scarlett sits down and pulls out her pendulum, but as she begins to speak, it seems to pick up along with her words. As she finishes questioning the 'little bitches', the pendulum began to swing in a clockwise direction, circling twice before it began to still once more, it seemed someone, at least, was listening to her. Richard would have little trouble getting out of the parking lot, though just as he is leaving, he does spot Whitney and Felicia coming back in their car, the two girls looking rather frightened.

Alice Olson

Location:Outside the Lumbermill

Officer Olson looked on in horror as the man expunged himself of some horrific demonic being. Her life was being turned upside down as his ended, he fell face first into the mud. Alice stood up from the ground, dirt and grass on her back, and on her haft-end. Panting, she watched as the hallucination fled from her vision, flying over the lumbermill. Her eyes fell upon the woman who had probably saved her life. A civilian, from the looks of it. She was about to say something when a scream erupted from out of sight, from the other side of the buildings.

Someone needed help. Stress-induced hallucinations aside, the scream might be real. Maybe another person was being attacked by a hopped-up lumberjack. Her mind unconsciously made corrections to her supernatural encounter, censoring the unexplainable and replacing it with more reasonable substitutes. For example, the fact that dispatch had not responded to her calls for back-up had not been fully processed. It was on the backburner, to be questioned later.

Hearing the scream, the female officer quickly reloaded her gun, entering a fresh mag into her pistol. Alice made eye-contact with the civilian as she rounded a corner to save whoever was in trouble. The mysterious shiny item in the truck nor the convinient arrival of the woman was not forgotten, but there seemed to be more pressing matters.

"Dispatch, this is Officer Olson at the Lumbermill. There's... crazy people here! I need backup! Now!" She shouted into the radio as she ran to try and find the source of the cry for help, boots slamming against the dirt.

Jennifer Wolgast

Location:Outside of 9th August Street

"Thank you, so much." Jenny said. Inside the quiet fear of being left alone subsided.

As they walked, the car came into view. Being a nurse, she didn't know too much about cars, but she could tell it was older car that had been well-kept.

"Wow. It's very nice," She said, pausing a beat and then opening the passenger car door. "You bought this car somewhere?" She grunted softly as she slid into the seat, her bare feet tickling against the carpeted interior. Grabbing the buckle of her designated seatbelt, she slid the belt across her torso and connected it to the recieving device with a metallic click She wiggled in the seat, sinking into it, getting comfortable.

When the fifth shot hit its mark Mariana started to lower her handgun a little bit as the lumberjack started to drop down to his knees, then Mariana noticed the man opening his mouth. Black smoke started to leave the man's body and then up over towards the mill again, it did confirm that this was a demon related incident and was related to Lucy's murder as well. Mariana was about to approach and help the officer up to her feet, but nope she seemed to want to go right into the fray again, and tried to call for backup over on her radio. Mariana thought for a moment that she might start spouting off crazy ideas what had happened here.

Mariana quickly dashed off towards her car and unlocked the trunk as she searched around before finding a flask of holy water that she kept. She stuffed it into her pocket and then grabbed a bit more ammo, the demon most likely had ran off to go and find a new Meat Suit, then she heard a loud scream coming from the mill. Mariana also reached for her shotgun as well and started to make her way over towards the mill where the scream had came from. "Wait up woman you cant go in blind!" Mariana yelled towards Officer Olson.

Scarlett Cromwell

Scarlett smirked as she saw there was someone with her. There was always the chance for a false reading, but she prided herself on results. The wind picking up just as she began her technique? That was just another indication of her flawless skill. There was a reason she was the prodigy of the Cromwell family and her cousin, Madison, was decidedly not. There was only room for one Queen Bitch in the family, after all.

"Thank you," Scarlett said curtly. "Alright, as you probably know, that ho Lucy Taylor was murdered. Honestly, it's a bit like Christmas. But I can't celebrate this without knowing who to thank. So let's start off easy - was Lucy Taylor murdered by a cult?" She didn't have a card with her to allow for letter responses, so she figured she'd get as much as she could with yes/no questions. If that became difficult, she'd see if she had a tube of lipstick lying around. She'd be able to write on the bench with that, enough to come up with a functioning answer card.

Whitney Carlyle

Location: P&W's Diner -> Outside Community Center

Whitney was barely registering what the girl was saying. Her own thoughts were racing. Her stomach was doing flip-flops. She was still hungry, but had no desire to eat anything. In fact, part of her wanted to throw up what little she had left.

Her mind was going through everything she saw up until that point. The smell. It was horrendous. Was it the cause of the diner scene? Surely it couldn't have been if they smelled it. They were ok, apart from being hungry. It hit her then. Maybe it was the cause. Did the smell cause the people to go crazy and kill each other? She didn't take too hard of a look at the bodies. She only noticed that they were dead and that there were pills about.

Maybe the people got so hungry that they attacked each other. It would explain the food scattered about. If that were the case, were the men responsible?

Thankfully, it didn't seem like they were seen as they drove away. "I don't know what to think. All I know is that this is well beyond a high school girl's wheelhouse." Was it though? Part of her was horrified, but another part of her wanted to find answers, even if the answers were terrifying.

They made it to the community center. Whitney stormed out of her car and ran to the building just as the agent was walking out. "Agent Baker! Wait! There's something you need to see. The diner...it's...horrible. There's more people dead. Please, come quickly."

The student's reply didn't quell Felicia's worries, but it did help to calm her down just a bit. Having another person to share her panicked confusion with allowed her to ground herself in the situation, oddly enough. The scene they'd just witnessed didn't seem real, especially as they'd began to drive away from the Diner, but the lack of answers from the girl beside her helped to confirm that it was all truly happening and that her own levels of bafflement and fear were completely natural.

"You're telling me," Felicia replied back as she ran her hand nervously through her hair. There was no doubt that she felt that this was out of her league right now, yet she'd already decided she was going to persist forward anyway, no matter what came next.

The two of them arrived at the Community Center soon enough, and once the car was parked they rushed out of their seats and to the building as quickly as they could, managing to catch the FBI Agent just as he was leaving. Felicia silently thanked the stars for this stroke of luck, but mentally winced at that thought. If history was anything to go by, her luck wasn't going to last long.

"She's telling the truth, there's bodies everywhere!" Felicia exclaimed as she nonetheless backed up the young woman's claims, "We don't know what the hell happened, we just went there to eat but everybody's dead!"

The Lumber Mill: As Olson and Mariana head back into the Lumber Mill, they can hear another scream and the distinct sounds of a struggle from the blockaded office that Mariana had heard whispers from before. Through the window on the door after a moment or two they would be able to see two figures within, another man with pitch black eyes, and a girl, appearing roughly eighteen. The man has grabbed the girl and hoisted her onto a makeshift cross as she struggles helplessly. At least for now, he seems to not notice the two at the door but is working quickly, as if he anticipates company.

August Street: Lauren just gave a nod to Jennifer's question before she began to drive, sighing seemingly out of some sort of relief as she made her way down the street, glancing over to Jennifer after a moment or two. "Listen, this is going to sound ridiculous, but I need you to trust me - half of the town is possessed by demons." Lauren paused for a moment, as if to allow Jennifer to take in what she had said, before she continued. "Once we get to my house we can prepare, but we need to get prepared to fight them."

Outside the Community Center: As Scarlett asks her second question, the wind blows again. It seems that her rare politeness is working in her favour, as the spirits are still listening. Once more, the pendulum begins to swing in the same clockwise direction, indicating that the assumption of her question was indeed correct. As for whether or not there was any further information to be gained on the identity of the cult, deciphering that through yes/no questions would be difficult...

Donald Baker

Location: Silver Falls Community Center

As the girls ran up towards Donald, the agent had just reached his car, raising an eyebrow as he turned towards the two. He seemed somewhat taken aback as they explained the situation, people had turned up dead at the diner? How had he not already been notified by the police? Almost on cue, he glanced down to the pager on his belt to see a confirmation of what the girls were saying. Sighing, he glanced up to the two girls, he didn't wish to expose them to it all any more than they already had been, but they might have known more than their initial panic let on, and he'd need a statement regardless.

Sighing, he opened the door to his car and glanced over to them. "Climb in, we'll head over so I can get a proper statement from you both, you did the right thing by coming right to me." He encouraged them with a nod. As he got behind the drivers seat and began to take them back to the diner, he regretted the nature of what had happened in Silver Falls. Girls like these two had their worlds turned upside down, but he was still unaware of just how terrible things were.

Arriving at P&W's, there was one police car outside now, along with two officers inside, they were conducting a basic search, and Donald sighed as he got out of the car and turned to the girls. "Alright, I need to ask you girls a few questions. First, did you see anything out of the ordinary when you got here? Anything that we might miss or want to pay attention to?"

Mariana Garcia

Location: The Lumber Mill.
Interacting With: @Zoey White Officer Alice Olson

As Mariana ran over towards the lumber mill she could hear another scream as she started to run faster over towards the door of the blocked office building she noticed a man, most likely he was the same exact demon that they both bumped into just moments before. Seeing the teenage girl struggling against the possessed man. Mariana noticed the cross that was in the room, as she started to wonder if it was also connected to the Lucy murder. At the moment the demon seemed to be more preoccupied on trying to put her onto the cross, turning her attention towards the officer next to her.

"Listen, try and find another entrance into the building maybe we can flank him, we cant shoot at him and harm that girl in the process at this angle." Mariana said, she reached into her pocket that held her holy water inside it and started to try and open the door to try and get through the barricade that was there blocking the door.

Alice Olson

Location: Inside the Lumbermill

Interacting with Mariana Garcia @Nallore

The female officer turned the corner and saw the strange, unnatural sight. A hostage- some kind of crazy sacrifice. She didn't take Silver Falls to have drugged up cultists like this, my God. The woman next to her spoke about some kind of plan.

"No..." Was all Alice could say in the few seconds she had to think.

Officer Olson looked over at the civilian who seemed remarkably calm for the situation, as if she knew more about what was going on than Alice did. Still, she couldn't take the risk of this random bystander playing heroics and getting that hostage killed. Clearly the man was thinking vary irrationally, probably on the same drug that gave the first lumberjack that incredible pain tolerance. He probably wouldn't be stopped by bullets or be scared by the threat of violence. He was probably going to hang that girl up and cut her open, or some other horrific act of violence.

The only option left was ambush. There was no way to tell how long there was left before the maniac killed the girl. No way to tell if there was a way in that wouldn't take too long. No way, no way, no way. He hadn't noticed them yet.

In that moment, Officer Olson concluded that her best chance of getting the hostage out safe was to bust in and take out the hostile. The supect could easily get away while they were out here through the window, or worse. She had to be able to pursue and follow through on any attempted attack.

"No, I'm going in. Help me get this door open and then stand back." Alice then began to quickly and violently break down the door.

Jennifer Wolgast

Location:The Streets of Silver Falls

Jennifer blinked hard, eyebrows furrowed, and glanced over at her new friend Lauren. Demons? Maybe she was not thinking straight because that car crash had scared her more than she was letting on. Worst case scenarion she had a concussion and her brain wasn't functioning right, which meant it was unsafe to let her drive. Jenny's immediate goal was to get the car pulled over, and the best way to do that was try to be calm, friendly, and give the injured person someone to trust and let lead them for a little bit.

The nurse's feautures relaxed as she said her next few sentences.

"Lauren, are you okay? We can pull over and talk about this. I'm a nurse, I can help you." She spoke calmly, though she was nervous, and put a hand gently on Lauren's shoulder.
