Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Victoria's worries started to hit home as she watched the glares and venom from thr three stooges to Mali as she stole the limelight for a short time and derailed thr Hutt and utterly stupid Indian man.

Wow, she had seen some dumb blondes, reality tv, and more. He took the biscuit.

Turning back to the man, he seemed nice to her. Was he limping. Maybe he understood her abit better than the rest of them round here? Blacksmith... Well least he seemed to have a honest trade. And it kinda had a charm to it. A blacksmith and a jokey business plug. Well things seemed to be improving.

"least its a honest trade. And much more intresting.

Websites. Apps.. Coding. Lady de Winter if you wanna find me.

Its alright. I fell ill, well things happened and this me. Not like I can hide it. Hardly blend in

Gesturing to the walking stick resting by chair and shrugging at obviously unnatural snow white skin and hair colour that would probbly be a sign most people should be in a hospital.

Her website was a fairly modern affair, a few jobs listed and examples of work. Medium businesses and some smaller sites. She was not a pro with major work but ernough to let her buy the odd nice dress and afford decent coffee.

He turned and looked at the stage. Marlin was still up there. Victorias stomach turned at having to even be next to that blob of a man yet alone have to face him.

that's my sister... Don,t let him off easy.

Il keep a eye out for....

She was about to look round the place and talk to someone else and be social then the sprinklers burst into life and started soaking everyone causing mass panic. The security goons already tense and only getting more tense as security though thugs where somewhat clearly obvious of thr destabilising situations.

Cold water hit her pale skin, damn backless dress no coat and cold water this was going to be less than fun. Mali should escape soonish, there was a nearby fore exit and the car park the white discovery was parked near ernough.

Least she knew there was a way out, making her way slowly, bumped, pushed by patrons and the security thugs trying to secure therecharges exit. The outside air was cold and stung her wet skin and dress clings slightly as hmshe made way out among the throng looking desperately for freinds or her sister who might of rushed out that exit.

The car park was further back, she could see the road and goons on the street rapidly gaining the drivers ire, a large helicopter was Sat in road, thr road was blocked. What the hell stunt where this trio pulling!

Shivering among the crowds, everyone taller felt particularly vulnerable, I'd only she had the car keys!

The small, ghostly pale blonde woman was just another there panicking and cold face in a large crowd.

Kei Kinzo

Everything was happening so fast at the time, it was getting a bit confusing for Kei to follow, so as soon as Marlin decided to go up and take the spotlight he turned himself the other way and laid his head against the arm rest. Letting out a loud sigh he drowned out all the outside noise with his own thoughts, as he was slowly drifting away in his thoughts, he was abruptly brought out from his day dream by the sound of the fire alarm going off and water from the sprinklers splashing all over him. Looking up he was confused. Without a second moment of thought he got up from his seat and began heading towards the door as every other patron was doing, there was no point to staying inside the venue and getting both soaked and deafened at the same time.

He slowly began shuffling towards the door, looking at his surrouding to see if everyone he knew was also getting out and was safe.

Khroshid and Lupe

Much like bears near your campsite it is strongly advised not to approach the Perfect Posse let alone interact with them in such close proximity, it is best to let them mull around and leave on their own terms. Provoking them within arm’s reach alone usually ends poorly just check Lupe’s Instagram for confirmation of that. Though braver than most it was quite foolish of Marinalia to assume that the Perfect Posse would not stoop to assaulting her.

Khorshid was not one to take being interrupted lightly. It was not fair. It was his turn on the microphone. This basic bitch was making him hot under the collar, it was almost criminal to interrupt a great performer such as himself; it was like this bimbo never saw his numerous Bollywood pictures or heard his plethora of albums. Turning his back to her and the crowd he ripped his frilly blouse in anger. Everyone wanted a piece of him and it was clear this British bombshell was no exception, well lucky for her he had a lot of love to give.

He twirled around and grabbed hold of Marinalia mid-pause pulling her close with surprising burst of strength; he maneuvers her hand holding the microphone far enough away to where it would not pick up his voice while at the same time forcing her free hand to rub down his now exposed slightly toned chest.

“My name’s Khorshid. I’m a Virgo. And you know it just so happens I was looking for a fine girl to rub all over my abs. I know we just met, but is it wrong? I said is it wrong that I to want to kiss you so bad girl.” He stops to take a deep breath before continuing. “Just want to kiss you. Hee hee. I don’t think you heard me correct. Is it wrong that I want to kiss Y-O-U? I’m talking to you pretty thing. You like rides? I can take you to Disneyland tonight baby. Show you all the rides sweetheart...no lines. Just you and me makin’ this kingdom magic.”

Lupe would have responded to the fiscally disabled heckler again, but in his stupor he was too transfixed by the events occurring on stage. At first he was enraged at the women’s haughtiness, but who was he to deny his friend some action. He says to Khorshid, “Ah, shit playa. Bless up! You gonna show this mouthy slut a good time tonight K and you ain’t offered her any ‘tea’ yet? Seriously as an Indian I thought you knew the English were all proper like. Bob get your useless ass over here and serve our lady guest some complementary Purple dr…’tea’. An old family recipe. Ha!”

Bob approaches and takes the golden cup from Lupe’s outstretched hands. The manservant wipes the brim of the ornate chalice with a handkerchief. Some of the closer guards chuckle as he makes his way over to her. Bob looks at her with a mixture of pity and contempt. With one hand he pressed the cup of Lean to her mouth whilst with the other he pulled her head back to ensure she would swallow the majority of the vile mixture of prescription-strength cough syrup, Sprite, and Lupe’s back-wash. Once done he scurries out of spitting distance.

Lupe continues, “K you gonna introduce her to your Chimp whens you done? Like as youse always saying bitches love the monkey….”

He would have continued blathering had he not interrupted by the piercing sound of alarm bells and water raining down from the sprinklers.

Khorshid releases his vicegrip and pushes himself away from the girl, “Gonna have to take a rain check girl as unfortunately the park is closed due to inclement weather. Hee hee.”

Security begins to escort the two men and Bob towards the front exit violently pushing aside those unfortunate to get in their way seemingly forgetting Sasha in the confusion.

Sasha

“No, I am sure we met silly. I never forget a face especially a handsome one. You’d think I’d just sporadically lunge at anyone? Please I am not that depraved. Though do I confess I did envision you romantically catching me in your arms darling, but here we are on the floor again with the dust bunnies. Normally I abhor dirt, but for you I can tolerate almost anything I honestly hope you did not hit your head. I did last time and let me tell you that is far from being fun.”

Sasha gave Ren a puzzled look before flashing him a sly smile and a wink.

“Oh, I get it…someone likes to party. Tsk Tsk. Naughty boy. I can’t believe I missed it earlier. Didn’t your parents tell you not to mix drugs and alcohol mister. I would not want to take advantage of you in such a state. I can’t mangle your mind with loving if drugs and alcohol are already doing that. Sigh. You’re lucky that I found you before someone with ill intent did darling. Would hate to see your cute mug on the back of a milk carton.”

He slowly lifts himself up from his comfortable position on top of Ren and rises to his shaky feet. He offers a hand to help up the target of his affection. Alarm bells go off and the sprinklers start steadily spraying water on the patrons.

“Well that certainly is one way to sober up”, muses Sasha as he watches his security move passes him.

“Well, looks like my ride is leaving without me. Catch ya later hot stuff.”

Sasha then bounds after his cohorts.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Marinalias plan was going badly. So very badly. She was grabbed by the Indian who seemed to rip his shirt aside in a gesture trying to seem masculine, dramatic.

Trying to fight him off it was not easy, he looked like some kind of fop but his strengh was surprising, and it seemed her miscalculated attempt that they not attack was wrong. So very wrong. Fear began to hit hard as she relised the danger of situation when someone forced her drink a foul and sickening purple liquid.

one day. One day you will get what your due

Oh God. They where gonna drug her. They had security, thugs and power over her. This was a terrible idea.

Thr Indian had tried his way to be seductive, the truth was he came across as a creep. A abusive creep.

Then fate saved her. By whatever God gate had saved her as they made to the exits security ramming aside the crowd to try and escape. A mix of revulsion, and whatever brew caused her to dizzy, blur a second before puking up most of her dinner, drinks and the liquid.

Thankfully somthing she was allergic to meant the toxic brew effects where limited though the lingering revulsion at the indians touch, the thugs arrogance and insults. She might have hated her family but this time it was revenge. A dark corner relised the events coming meant the family would on full show and hopefully a chance to return a favour to these monsters. With money came power and they forgot others may be more that they seemed.

Struggling to hold up, the sheer disgust was overwhelming as her stomach turned and staggered down the steps the water soaking everything.

Sewing Ren fall, and Sasha run she tried to help him up. Leaving even a stranger to a fire was unforgivable. Talking was difficult and she gagged a few few times at the after taste of that drink. God they where monsters.

"Ren. Come on you foolish lump. Get out... Car...

Someone help... Please.

A few small bruises where on her arm from the grab, thr push had thrown her balence alongside the foul drink. All she could think of was getting out, and hitting the road home.

Victoria was cold as she threw self out was as security charged pit like raging bulls to the helicopter, tramping and ramming people aside to escape the growing and hostile crowds. The cops and fire service would be on route, it seemed they would be Airborne before the momment happened.

Looking back for Marilania she looked round, no, she was not with the group, but was she still inside, another exit. Shouting out she called out trying to find her sister, and her way out of this situation.

Mali! MALI! Where... By the wall.

Staring round she tried to find someone she recognised, someone who might help. Even those passing people her sister knew might offer aid. Maybe.

Shivering in the bustling crowds, it seemed Victoria's night had gone decidedly for the worse.

Milo Ventri

Milo pushed his way through the retreating crowd, he looked up as the large Indian man grabbed hold of miss Romus, this man was a idiot if he thought that was going to go well, but the panicking crowd slowed Milo down as he trudged on. The water was drenching him and he was not going to let this go, it was at this point that he noticed that the girl was now seemingly sick, had the man done something? Milo reached the stage and came upon the girl as she was fumbling about.

"Miss Romus, please come with me, I will get you out to your sister."

Milo had only barely heard Victoria mention it but he needed something to get Marinalia moving, she was drenched and it seemed as though she had been sick for sure now that he was this close. Milo held out his hand to her and offered to help her from the building. He wasn't sure where her sister was exactly but he was not about to allow anyone to be left to this mess, especially after already having been so brave.

Joseph looked up as the alarm went off, doing it just at the right moment to get a torrent of water directly in his eyes.

"Hmm, well that's not good."

Well, he still had an almost full bottle of absinthe to look forward to. He'd only really taken a few swigs, so he'd get a good few hours of alcohol from it.

He looked back down to said bottle. There was about an eighth of the alcoholic liquid left.

"Also not good." He said, as the world tilted around him. "Welp, I suppose I should probably get out of here before the fire gets me."

Putting the cap back on the bottle, he got up and stumbled, lurched, and span through the crowd, making it to the outside surprisingly quickly.

Looking down at the bottle again, he sighed.

"I suppose I should find a nice, cardboard box to finish this in..."

However, before he could wander off into the night, he saw the girl who'd bought him the drink in the first place. It looked like she wasn't exactly thriving in the cold, especially now that she had been drenched in water. Honestly, maybe it was because of what was apparently a ridiculous amount of alcohol, but he didn't even seem that nervous about approaching her.

"Hey snow girl, it looks like you aren't handling the cold too well." He said, before taking off his jacket and chucking it to her. "So, I don't know if you'll actually want it, but here. It should keep you warm, despite how torn up it looks..."

As he stood around, he began to feel a little nervous once more.

"So... We're standing out here... Just... Standing..."

He kicked a can in the ground, before lifting his bottle up to the moonlight.

"Is there a... reason... we're standing here?"

Xia Alexander

So far, the night wasn't too bad. Meeting a few new people, mingling a little, and after speaking to the white haired girl, Xia figured, what the hell...and had some whiskey. Why the hell did she do that?

Xia for the most part was okay but a little to herself and swaying so to the music until hearing some commotion and the girl she seen earlier, take to the stage to make a public service announcement.

Along with this perfect posse showing up and plenty of drama happening, Xia's high was blown by the blasting alarm that came about while the sprinklers went off.

Ah! wh-what? man...not my hair and my clothes...trying to get me naked... The buzzed woman said while noticing the English girl getting grabbed on by the Indian guy. One thing that Xia didn't like was men manhandling a woman.

With the security pushing through the crowd and Xia was now outside after the rush to get from the water but of course, she was a bit chilly from the air outside. To think there was this much drama here. She was usually the cause of it but to see what was going on now, she wondered if she was needed to help. Still a bit tipsy, she didn't know how much help she could provide but she was willing to defend any girl who was in trouble with a guy.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Marinalia looked up at the man managing to be abit sick before noticing he was there to help abd mentioned her sister? Damn she would sure owe Victoria quite alot after this evening. The aftereffects of whatever she had been given where pretty potant plus the smell of vomit. Gah she must of looked a right mess.

Vika?. Mali. Romus, Olympus. Jabba had some drug in cup... Puked it up.

Gesturing to Ren also injuried on ground from Sasha attack and a somewhat bruise on her own arm from the grab, they must of looked a right pair. Cold water had one effect that helped quickly bring her mind back to a less befuddled and Suprised state. She had lost her coat but managed to keep her bag, dress soaked through by now, Gah, it was gonna be ruined at this rate.

my friend. Help me get him out. Victoria sister. Got truck out back. Owe you after this.

Gesturing to bag she rummaged to check it was there finding it with a releaved sigh.

Victoria shivered outside, most people would go pale in the cold but that was not exactly possible until she saw the scruffy but seemingly kind person approach her.

Shaking as the stranger threw the jacked over her shoulders covering the exposed back even though her skin still stung from intense cold. She did not like cold anyway. Tommorow was gonna be duvet day for sure. Voice trembling slightly from the temperature.

thanks... Waiting. Sister has keys for the truck. Was on stage. Cab be hard to get...

Standing. Not abandoning Mali.

Ending slightly abruptly she looked round as the person swigged down some of the heavy duty alcohol. Least ing more heavily on the walking stick and sighing as water still dripped off her ghostly pale skin.

il manage somehow...

Looking over she saw the taller woman in the fedora coming out bedraggled and soaked from the sprinklers much as everyone else, hair and outfits ruined, everyone was cold. If she was less cold and less worried this might be a funny bonding momment.

Looking over the woman and slightly shouting over. She had to find Marilania to get out of here. Victoria could see the perfect posee pushing there way out of the place towards a awaiting helicopter that was starting up. Security on the road where beginning to lose control of the situation, the drama was getting over dramatic.

did you see my sister. Stage.?

Lastly she saw a man in a bike jacket. She was sure her sister mentioned that guy when they met. He seemed to be watching the event from a afar. What was he up too or just gawping at things like the rest of the people gathering.?

Milo Ventri

When the drenched woman spoke he could tell that she was affected at least slightly by what had been poured in her mouth, these men were quite depraved to think that this was an acceptable action, but even as bad off as she was she was more concerned about the man that had been jumped on earlier, he seemed to be immobile as well and intoxicated. Milo knew that getting the girl out would be easy but the both of them would not, he wasn't sure how long he had left in this building before either flames or water overwhelm.

"Alright, hold on then, I will get you both out but it won't be comfortable."

Milo lifted Mali up and over his shoulder, instantly he felt his weak knee give a little, but this was no time for that kind of weakness, he moved to where the man lay on the ground and knelt down look at him.

"I'm going to help you out of here, hold on."

Milo grabbed the man under the arm and began to drag him toward the rear exit where Mali had said her truck was to be. His leg throbbed, he hadn't been recovering well enough to be putting this much strain on it yet but this was what happens, some men attack others and others are there to help, he only hoped that his leg would hold.

As Milo reached the rear exit with the two of them he set them down and looked about hoping to get a glimpse of Victoria in order hand this off.

"Miss Victoria!" He called.

Ren White

Ren's head was spinning. The blondie on top of him was speaking, but it almost sounded like he was under water. Something about hitting heads, drugs and cute mugs...? @Aladdin_sane He saw Marlin take the stage, trying to regain control over the situation. And one of the other sleaze bags harassing her. That pig! @PrinceAlexus The blonde man stood up, offering a hand, but then he rushed out instead.

People were shuffling towards the exit, and it took Ren a little too long to finally notice the fire alarm blaring. The sprinklers were dousing the place down as well. This night sure took a turn for the worse. Kei was gone from the sitting area, and had probably left already. @Robo27 A buff looking guy was approaching Marlin, wanting to help her out. Good. @RoccanIronclad And then he turned towards Ren, extending a hand. He got shakily to his feet, and walked out together with the others. What a night...

He lingered outside for a few minutes to make sure everybody he knew was out safely.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Marinalia coughed slightly as thr cold air outside hit her soaked skin and dress before blinking slightly and sobered up by thr effect of cold water, air and puking most of whatever it was up.

Looking round she hered Victoria shouting out and saw Ren was staggering out too, there was no smoke yet seen from thr building but with that level of fire sprinklers it probbly would have a real challenge taking hold. The venue might need quite some drying out and new sound system. Getting to her feet the cold was hitting her and shivered visabley.

Vika! over here.

Thank you!

Giving thr man a rather wet hug, she was still in shock from everything and least glad one person had more honour than those sewer dwelling rats. Ren looked like he had had about as bad night as her. Did that even count as a date, event? Whatever it was.

Ren... You look like.. You want lift. Got a spare seat or two.

Victoria was Suprised seeing the large man carry out Marlin and Ren, he seemed to limp slightly, maybe it was just thr weight of two people.

Looking over to the person she was next to, it felt bad but family came first though stealing his hood might be the only jacket he had... It was cold but they would leaving soon right? Or at least warm in Marlin's Discovery.

umm. Sorry... Sister. Catch ya later. Thanks for thr jacket.

Handing it back despite the cold and slipping her email detailed business card into picket, she headed over quickly as possible despite needing a stick to support her.

Seeing Marinalia she hugged her sister, before the hugging the man too, relief overwhelming her that Marinalia made it out safe.

Mali... You silly... Gah, love you.

Milo, I think I owe you lunch... For like a month... Maybe see you when I'm abit less wet and alot warmer?

To think the youngest Romus sister was completely innocent was a big mistake, sneaking thr card into his pocket with a small tap so he,s notice later. Looking over she could tell Marilania woukd take a while to get over tonight even through her current shocked state.

More gentley she looked over and relised.

you OK to drive?

Marinalia nodded despite the shock, she just wanted to get home..

Yeah. Get home... Dry...

Noticing thr tall woman looking bedraggled as the rest of them and likely would be queueing for too few cabs who would likely up there charges massively due to demand. There was no way out carpark while the barriers where up. Or was there? Seeing a break I'm fence, a access road and slope most cars never make. Maybe a 4x4 might.

Behind her. Yeah. There was a way out of here.

Not caring if she saw to staring at her. The gap behind, or whatever she thought she just wanted to get home even if meant taking a more creative solution..

"Huh, well..." Joseph said, giving a nervous scratch to the back of his head. "I'm not really good at any of this, but I'm a little worried why would happen to you if those three idiots came back and I wasn't around to draw their ire. I'll wait with you for now."

He waited for a moment, unsure of what exactly to say. Well, he assumed she probably lived in the city, so maybe she would know some nice, covered places.

"So... As much as I hate to let those morons have any more ammunition, would you happen to know a nice area in the city for me to get some sleep. I'm fine with alleys and stuff, but somewhere with a roof would be better, considering how cardboard usually tends to hold up against rain... Maybe somewhere with a gazebo or something? I wouldn't mind somewhere to finish this in peace, after all."

He shook the bottle of absinthe gently, only to notice something odd about the weight and look into it. He immediately regretted this, seeing that he had somehow finished it already.

"Well, I actually have no idea how I finished that so quickly. It's probably a bad sign though..."

He looked up after that, seeing a massive man carrying a blonde girl. When he called out to Victoria, he figured that his hunch was probably right, an pointed them out.

"Hey Snow girl, is that your sister there?"

Ren White

What the actual fuck had happened this evening. So many different people, first at the student party - speaking of, Ren hoped they had made their way home safely - then here at the record shop. And all this business with that blonde guy. Who seemed pretty insistent on having met Ren before. What a mess. At least Marlin and her sister Vika was alright. @PrinceAlexus Turning towards the man who helped them out. He was unsure wether to thank him or yell at him, explaining he was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. He settled on a slight nod in hos direction, hoping to leave it at that. @RoccanIronclad Vika had been talking to a rather shabby looking young man, but Ren didn't think much more about it.@Rabidporcupine He didn't care who he was or who Vika was socializing with. All he cared about now was getting home.

"I think I might have to accept your offer, Marlin. Thanks." He said. He considered calling William, his chauffeur, but the roads had to be pretty chaotic at this point. It could be ages until he would even be here.

Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Time wiggle so just between posts.
Small talk between Victoria and Joseph

Victoria was Suprised, he was offering to protect her from the gak holes. Well maybe there was hope for thr city after all.

thank you, your a gentleman

Turned out they where poor as the insults made out, and despite this they seemed to have a decency. And kindness that was rare I. The big city. She had a semi lucrative job, a roof and they had nothing. It would be against every single sane rule for a woman in the city to invite a stranger to there house, but maybe she could help them without taking such risks.

oh... I'm pretty new but there seems to be a few old warehouses on edge of old harbour... Saw them from the cab. Least they be dry and mostly have windows.

She felt bad she could not help more after they did, after the insults. Finding a few soaked notes in her bag, it was not much but it would help them alot more than her and handed them over. One of the busienss cards caught in it and a old sticky note about milk.

just... Take it. You need it far more than me. I'm a.... You deserve it after standing up to then, helping...

I wish... I could.... There's a ton of junk shops and places in old harbour.. They always need casual staff... Maybe use the money to buy a new hoody, and try there...

Yeah... That's Mali. I gotta go. Sisters...

She felt awful she could not so much to help, maybe the tips, abit of cash and a abit of luck they could least find there feet.

Handing back the hood, she would be cold but she had a warm home. She would put up with a cold so someone else could least stay warm.

A Y A

• Monday Night, Swan's Songs •

"I am so sorry for keeping you waiting Aya, look, traffic's been more hectic than usual and I've only just gotten off the main roads. I'm literally, like, ten minutes away, I promise I'll be there soon.

What, like how you promised you would actually be here on time? Aya hissed through her phone, ignoring the escalating commotion going on nearby. She heard a nervous chuckle from the other end, and she simply sighed.

"Heh, well when you put it like that—

It's been an hour Mari, I've been sitting here for a full hour waiting for you to come through that stupid door! Shit, it's been so long someone's already gone and asked me to join them for drinks because they thought I was pissed from getting stood up or something.

Mari burst out into laughter through Aya's phone speaker, and she had to pull herself away from it for a couple of unfunny seconds. After her coworker finally stopped cackling, Aya heard the sound of a turn signal and soft, tired giggles. A few seconds of silence passed, and Aya began to tap her long fingers on the wooden tabletop, letting out a tired sigh.

"So why didn't you join them?

I would've said something, but then you decided to call.

"Ah... Then what would you have said?"

Another couple of quiet seconds. Whatever row was going on in the background, Aya wasn't paying any attention to it at all.

...No.

"Why?"

Some people just aren't into drinking fermented grape juice on a late Monday night, especially when they have the stupidly early shift at their workplace the next morning.

This time, it was Mari who let out a long, drawn out sigh from her phone. Once again, Aya heard the clicking noises of the car's turn signal through the speaker.

"Good point, good point. I guess I was only looking to enjoy some sweet jazz music tonight. I think it's about time I lay off the whole 'going out with friends on a Sunday evening only to wake up the next morning too dead to go to work in thirty minutes' thing."

Well, maybe if you did get here on time you would be able to enjoy some of that jazz music and, oh JESUS—

From Mari's phone, the coworker would hear a lot of running, a lot of screaming, and total panic on the other side. She frantically called out Aya's name multiple times, but it seemed the loud background noises prevented her from hearing any sort of response. A swift but muffled 'call you back' was heard, and the call abruptly ended.

Then Aya suddenly found herself outside, shivering from the cold, mascara running down her cheeks, and clothes drenched in fire sprinkler water.

Although it was a small venue, it seemed that there was a lot of people gathered here this evening. And when a lot of people are trying to force themselves through a single door because of a possible fire hazard, things can get quite chaotic. Aya, of course, had found herself in the very middle of it all, managing to gracefully trip over her feet as she was flung outside the building. She noticed the stains of the pavement on her jeans as she scrambled to her feet, and at this point she just wanted to kick something.

A can coincidentally found itself by her right foot, and being in the moment and the mood, Aya did not hesitate to kick the damned piece of metal with all the power she could muster.

Only to have it coincidentally hit someone's leg with quite the amount of force, making her face go from an angry flushed red to a pale horrified white.

Oh, fuck, shit, I mean... Sorry...

Milo Ventri

After Milo let the two people he was helping go outside of the building he sat down against the building, his leg was throbbing at this point, he probably wasn't going to be moving much tomorrow, he gave it a gentle rub and looked at the group. Miss Victoria was out here with their truck, she came over to him and thank him for helping get her sister out, and mentioning lunch, for a month, and then managing to slip something into his breast pocket. @PrinceAlexus

"It was no trouble, shame I couldn't get to the stage fast enough to prevent from her needing the help in the first place. I think you two should contact the cops about that." Milo said with moderate concern, both for the assault as well as medically.

Milo looked to the man that was seemingly getting his bearings back to him now, the young man gave him a bit of a nod in thanks, to which he returned, he knew what that was like, sometimes it was hard to accept the help, we always feel that we are the strongest around but it sometimes couldn't be further from the truth, that was something Milo knew too well. @Furiosa

Miss Marianlia offered a ride home, and honestly, he would have loved one, he wasn't sure how far he would be able to peddle his bike before this damned knee of his finally shut down on him, but he couldn't just leave his bike and honestly, he really didn't want to be seen limping to much more than he already has. He just planned on sitting here outside until he felt like his knee could handle the ride.

"Appreciate the offer but I will have to decline, I got my bike out front, can't leave it here, you guys go on you have way more to do than just running me about."

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Swan Songs . Monday Evening

Marinalia looked over watching thr figures pushing to the helicopter parked in centre of street, the logo she recognised there aircraft had become known for flouting aviation rules and there was a blanket warning to watch your flight lanes when you saw one at Deadalus. Still she had to see the company doctor, her flight status was compromised.

Thr man seemed nice. And was Victoria flirting... Naughty sister. That would be a story to work out of her in the night or morning.

Ren honestly. In good faith was not up to walking home, and no one was getting a taxi in a hurry. The taller man wanted to ride home, well she had seen a few motet bikes out front.

OK, well I'm the white discovery. Ren, can you take back seat. Vika finds it easier to get in. Just give me a zip code. I got Sat nav.

Il see my company doctor. I gotta anyway. Flight status and all that. We owe you a big debt. Thank you.

Il be at the car folks.

Walking over and blip ping the key thanking it still worked despite the soaking and climbing in cranking the heater up to max, the big engine would soon heat up. The heat was lovely even though it did mist abit and kicked off her heals for more practical flats

The shock was bleeding off slightly and a sick feeling lingered afterwards, she would have to be alot more careful and telling her family what happened.. They would support her but it was not going to be easy.

Victoria was more relaxed as that knot untied as Marinalia seemed to be least able to drive them home, home was safer. Home least they would have some privacy and dry clothes.

The man Milo seemed nice, and proved he was honourable. Victoria would have to keep a eye out for him. Tying to lighten mood and maybe make things seem a tiny bit normal..

well I think that's my carriage.

I will have to see you later. Take care on way home..

Ren... Just forget you saw this.

The booze had got to her. He was Sat down and far closer to her height than before, even with the cold she still felt somewhat drunk and gave him a kiss on cheek before heading to car slowly leaning one side heavily on the walking stick after the chaos. Pushing and alcohol.

Hopefully Ren would only tell after in morning or somthing and she could escape her older sisters detective work for a few hours.

The car was warm, and watched the chaos from afar, as a can flew into a person and someone reacted in pain. Yep... Defenitely time to go!

About the time the alarm went off was when Joel knew it was time for him to make his exit. He didn’t like splitting cars on the bike, but the entire area was about to be impassable for several hours at the rate things were going. The helicopter hadn’t moved and he could hear sirens in the distance. He shot his coffee cup into a waste-bin and grabbed his backpack, momentarily surprised by its weight. He had nearly forgotten about the starter. Dammit. He thought. He now really didn’t feel like fooling around with that old man’s work-truck when he got back to the shop after all this drama. To top it off, as he began to slink away, a sprinkler soaked girl in a blue dress shot him the stink-eye apparently for still being dry. Fuck her and her fucking jazz night was his initial thought when he caught her sharp gaze. Some bum seemed to be trying to creep and help her out at the same time and that was fitting enough.

Crossing back across the street at a healthy stride, he ducked under the tail rotor amidst the commotion and a burly security guard barked at him for being too close to the helicopter. Joel shot the man the finger and kept walking. His anger was beginning to boil. He kept a large 35mm wrench in his backpack whenever he rode his motorcycle and it wasn’t for working on cars. He stepped up to the sidewalk aiming to round the corner when something struck his lower leg hard. Holy fuck, ouch! He looked down to see a full can of cheap beer spinning away with foam spraying apparently opened by his fibula. He glared and looked around, but his expression lightened a little when he saw the mortified woman that launched the shot. She was taller than most, which he liked and wore a sleek blue top in a soaked outfit that may have once been well-put-together. “Damn, you could have at least hit me with something expensive.” He said. The crowds were unruly and he wasn’t slowing down to talk trash, “C’mon if you want to get out of this shit-show.” He said nodding in the direction he was travelling

SOL CITY FIRE & RESCUE

The veterans of Ladder Company 5, SCFD were busily beating a path through Riverside. Sirens blared and traffic slowly parted allowing one firetruck followed by an ambulance from Sol Memorial to pass through. Their progress was steady and when the first foreign barricade was reached, they simply pushed it out of the way in spite of protests from a black-suit clad security detail. The Captain on duty almost hadn't believed it when dispatch reported a large helicopter blocking the path to the source of the call. He grinned when he saw the polished metal corporate chopper placed exactly as described. They'd never pushed a helicopter with the truck.

Sikorsky S-92 VVIP Configuration Helicopter

Duško Jadran liked to imagine he was still on the battlefield fighting, but it was clear that his mercenary days were long behind him as he’d made the mistake of backing the losing side one to many times; though despite having civilian life thrust upon him he was still a disposable person as this throwaway identity proved…nationality Serbian…cute. His checkered past made him the perfect Vencorp International employee and he long ago made peace with the fact that his employer was the real-world iteration of Lex Luthor straight from the comics; though their checks cashed and as of yet he was not being deported into the hands of his numerous enemies, so who was he a hired-gun to complain about morals. The fleet of Sikorsky S-92 VVIP Configuration choppers and other aircraft were not only used to shuffle around the trio of toddlers after all, sometimes Mr. Petrov’s company had to enter into enhanced negations off the clock and sometimes the competition didn’t fly so good in a manner of speaking. Duško felt deep down that he too was destined meet an untimely end, but he knew there was no fighting fate. Fortuna was a capricious mistress indeed and only she truly knew your final resting spot on her wheel.

For some reason it took his charges for the evening longer than usual to load into the chopper, security really was not on point today as they almost left the Russian one to fend for himself against the mob of drenched patrons. Good thing he had the foresight to prep the chopper beforehand or else the firetruck would have hit them instead of coming extremely close to hitting them. Perhaps a pilot with a conscious would have just taken the hit, but two tours in the Democratic Republic of the Congo scrubbed him of any such weakness. He quickly maneuvered the aircraft as close to the crowd as feasibly possible and took off from there knowing the crew of the firetruck wouldn’t dare ram the helicopter this close to the crowd and risk both vehicles careening into the storefront possibly killing or maiming everybody. The good sarmatians aboard the fire engine would apply the brakes post haste or there would most likely be double digit casualties; Duško knew that damaging the chopper would afford him the firsthand look of what it must have been like to be D.B. Copper in his final moments and the former mercenary knew he’d did not want to go out like that. Those unlucky enough to not to be aboard looked rustled from the sudden influx of strong gusts and some looked like they were injured from being abruptly knocked off their feet, but perhaps lady luck was on his side as it looked like no one was decapitated by a propeller. The chopper ascended into the air and took off.

The Perfect Posse were unperturbed by their recent brush with possible death at the hands of their piolt and were loudly hurling curses down upon the emergency responders as their Sikorsky S-92 VVIP Configuration helicopter speed off to Nocturnus Manor an unincorporated community on the far outskirts of Sol City. There is much debate as to whether or not the seven mile (4480 acre) stretch of land is within Sol City limits as it was purchased in the early 1920’s from the city by the socially prominent MacConnell family for the equivalent of $30 million dollars in today’s money; their intention was to accrue more adjacent land to build Nocturnus which was to act as a sister city to Sol, but due to unforeseen economic depression that ravaged the country the project was shuttered and no further land was acquired. Sol City declares de-facto jurisdiction over the area and it’s residents (descendants of MacConnell family and their relatives) for the most part accept this fact.

Though there are a few loopholes that exist and that is how Kiran the Chimpanzee is able to take up residence on the grounds of the Manor and not in the city proper. Lyla MacConnell who recently turned 68 was a moderately popular movie starlet in the 1960’s took a liking to the Perfect Posse and allows her “boys” full access to her extensive property. Some think she is a poor woman whose deluded herself into thinking she could change these pompous brats, while others think the weird association is more out necessity as the MacConnell fortune has long since evaporated and Vencorp International has recently taken control of the estate’s finances in order to save the land from being sold back to the city.

Olin Ingersson Holmström

Monday ???, Swan Songs

"I didn't mean-" Olin's face dropped the slightest at Victoria's response, realizing that she should've just acted civilized, for once. Of course she really was a douchebag, but for a rare moment in her life she hadn't exactly meant the words to take such a person turn. It made her feel... Bad, but she couldn't summon the energy to vindicate herself. Instead she allowed the less than convincing sentence the hang in the air as the smaller woman turned to talk to someone else.

Even if she had wanted to, or was the type that adamantly poured out 'sorrys' instead, she couldn't. Not because of of apathy, or morals, or the fact it just wasn't that night - she really couldn't. Just a few seconds had passed before a shrieking noise pierced the jazz music, or at least what was left of it. Olin could only give out a few breathless curses as water began to spritz down, signaling screams and what felt like an army of footsteps. She decided to exit in a manner considered 'casual-panic'. All of the noises seemed to slur together, overpowering all of her senses, eliciting panic. The water seemed to go from falling down to miraculously appearing on her skin. Her vision went between a splotchy blur - perhaps it was the liquor - to the haziness of a storm. She allowed the crowd to carry her out of the door in a fluid motion, still a bit out of it, yet looking as nonchalant as an otter.

On the outside she recognized a few faces. Most in worse shape than her (with an exclusion of those that had chosen to wear full-white. Then she could tell they were in more shape), with miniature pools hanging off them, or shouting for some type of assistance. One was Victoria, who seemed to be in an unparalleled frenzy about... Her sister? She could vaguely remember the woman engaging in some type of altercation with one of the boys on stage. She fought to put the pieces together, but wound up with nothing. Though she knew she'd inhabit the same emotions if it was one of her brothers, or her own sister, she couldn't force herself to go over. "...It'll just be awkward," She thought aloud, sighing as chill began to come over her.

But someone could put it into much better words than herself. From where she stood the words became a whisper, but it was clear enough to make out someone had said "shit-show". That was beyond the truth. And Olin didn't want to be around whenever they found the cause, or if there was any concern for the police to show up. Considering there was a reasonable tension among some of the partygoers, there was a good chance something was bound to happen. But she wasn't exactly wanting to give up on the evening just yet. Maybe if she went home and changed... Give her a reasonable amount of time to get warmer... She could at least salvage it by hitting up a club, or perhaps drunk karaoke.

She began the walk towards her apartment, eager to get away from the chaos ensuing.
