Heads up, fiberlings are biodiversity monitors, so Dust Crawlers will start to encounter mass hairball resistance once the affected zone spreads far enough. Osveril would do well to tip that balance in the Crawler's favour, though letting the grey zone spread too fast could tip off other gods.

I've got plans for a whole invasive ecosystem, or at least something that could pass for one from a distance, waiting on Osveril to realise that the Crawlers will need support. I imagine that fiberlings won't be the only obstacles they face - white giants probably wouldn't like them either, and even clever mortals could figure out ways to deal with the swarms once they reach more populated areas.

As for the gods taking notice, with Osveril's attitude it's only a matter of time anyway. Given that he still thinks he's got convincing arguments for them, that might even have been his intention if he had a better idea of how minds work.

I find it concerning that Kho's been gone so long. I'm trying to write a collab with him, and he's vanished.

Truth be told, the main reason Osveril hasn't annoyed people yet is that nobody except Jvan likely knows he exists at all. Then again, he hasn't been throwing any moons at Galbar either (though he definitely would if he could).

There's them as well, true. I was forgetting they're developed enough to recognise the Crawlers as a threat, even though I don't think they would register as more actively hostile and violent than any normal animal.

@Oraculum I also agree that the Crawlers act at such a base instinct level that they wouldn't generally trigger the hostile intent alarms except for when they are actively trying to eat people. But at the same time urtelem are pretty clever now and would recognise them as a threat regardless.

Kho seems like a much better student than I am. This is final exam season for most of us, so my instinct is that Kho just retreated out into the woods for a massive study marathon. And that he had to do it cold turkey, otherwise we'd pull him back in with all the memes and distract him.

Of course, this theory about Kho retreating into the woods doesn't preclude the ever real possibility of him having been eaten by a bear.

Hey guys. Long time no see, so here's a status update:

Recently moved, twice, this second time to California, San Diego to be exact, and with the move I've been beset with a ton of responsibilities, such as paying bills and having a job. I'm also a legit art student now, yay me, so I've also got drawing to worry about. I've been thinking on dropping out of Divinus for some time, and it's caused me a lot of stress as of late, not a second goes by where I think about this wonderful world we've built; and not a second goes by where I feel extreme guilt for neglecting a group of genuine and creative people for so long. I'm so sorry for being silent for such a time, it's taken a lot of courage to come to a proper decision on whether or not to stay or go - and due to recent financial difficulties, I can no longer sustain the hope of staying in this roleplay.

Lifprasil and Alefpria mean a lot to me, and while I don't know what has happened to these things in my leave, I would like to trust them to another player, so all the effort building up this slice of Galbar aren't for nothing. Antarctic Termite, or Double Capybara would be my first picks, as they have both been good friends, and know of my plans for Lifprasil and beyond. However, I would not put it past this group to remove him and Alefpria from the Roleplay entirely; due to my gross mismanagement of my role in this story. I'm sorry. I've failed you guys, and I've failed Divinus despite all of you investing so much time and effort into me, it pains me deeply to leave all this behind, and it would pain me even more to leave you guys behind, so I'll pop my contact info below in case anyone wants to contact me outside the Roleplayer Guild.

First of all, congratulations on your studentship and your job! All the best for your future masterpieces.

I figured you had a lot going on, especially with the effort you put in before. It's sad to see you go. It's also sad to see you sad to go. It's sad all around, but in wanting what is best for you as much as any one of us, I fully understand.

As for Alefpria and Lifprasil, it would be so much more of a headache to wipe them from the lore at this point that I wouldn't even suggest it even if I had a single ounce of spite in my body towards them. They're too ingrained into too many ongoing narratives and established histories. We're keeping them around, don't you worry.

Anyway, we'll still be here if you want to drop in and share rare memes every now and then. Hell, if a few months or a year down the track you have enough time to jump in again, we'd be happy to have you! The posting rate isn't that fast anyway, so it's not as if there'd be too much teething.

@poog the pig Oh man, I kinda expected you to leave, but I will miss the lif collabs, though if it is causing you stress I think there is no better decision to take, some closure always helps us to focus on the stuff that matters.

I will try to continue to continue working on pretty stuff for the empire, though I will admit I am having a lot of trouble myself on finding the time/inspiration to write.

Yeah I was hiking out in the Discord National Forest and found Kho in his cabin. Bears haven't found him yet. He said not to worry ;p

First off, congrats on the art student thing!

Second, there's nothing to forgive dude. This RP has always been slow and steady with various members of us fading quietly into the background as RL takes us. Vestec won't drop a moon on Alefpria or send Lif on a doomed quest. They're too well written and integrated into the lore to do that.

We'll wait for you to come back, get RL taken care of first.
