Act 1: New Beginnings

9/4/2XXX 9:00am

It was the early morning, the cherry blossoms were now in full bloom signalling the start of something new for everyone, the start of the new school year. For the regular students this would just be another year of the same but for the new students coming to Chihaiten and the city of Sakai where the academy was located. It was the day that they would begin their training to become heroes. For those students arriving at the front gate of Chihaiten they would notice a tall pale haired woman looking to be around her late twenties early thirties marking off a small registry as people entered through the main gate. The way she composed herself gave off a very secretary like vibe. She spoke to the new arrivals with short but explicit orders on where they must go in order to get to the assembly hall for the first assembly of the academic year never the less even with the way she spoke, her words seemed inherently upbeat as if she was excited to be teaching again though her body composure was doing a good job of hiding such joy though you'd only be able to pick up on such things if you watched her for longer then a few moments.

After you had finished receiving your instructions and began making your way towards the main school grounds, you'd be able to see the dorm building on the left. Its body resting on the cliff side firmly drilled into the ground with its support struts to the point that it could survive even the worst weather without fault which was could be seen as pretty good idea considering Japan's rate of earthquakes and tsunamis. Likely you were carrying on you a few spare changes of clothes for the first day in order to put it in your assigned room. Next to this spectacle was the practical area though you could just only just about make out from the entrance and even then you'd need some pretty sharp eyes to see it.

When you opened the school door in order to step inside a few things would instantly hit you. Firstly the school was completely clean for the opening day, as if the janitor had somehow managed to completely clean every single corner, bend and floor. Secondly the floor of the school hallways was vinyl in order to be easier to clean with the constant influx of students and teachers moving around. This hallway besides having the entrance to the main hall. Your main destination also had two classrooms one of which had its lights off and wasn't in use but the other one had a well dressed old man working on what appeared to be some extremely complex chemical formula, given by what he appeared to be writing on the blackboard and the fact he was ignoring whatever else was going on around him including the fact that students were looking through his window. He just seemed dead set on finishing whatever it was he had started.

Either way people were still filing into the hall, mostly the latter years whom were interested in seeing the new arrivals for themselves. Perhaps it would for now be the best bet to file yourself into the hall and sit by other kids in your year group or perhaps you would prefer to loiter outside in the hall until the very last minute but either way that doesn't change the fact you have a few moments while the headmistress prepares herself to present.

5:30AM - Robin Hara

It was early morning when Robin stood at the train platform getting ready to depart his home town in the countryside, wrapping his winged arms around his mother and father he was made to promise to call and send pictures when he was settled in, to which he of course nodded and assured them that he would do so. Eventually his father passed over the packed bag and the announcement was made that the next train was his, it was time to say his final farewells, waving goodbye as he stepped onto the cart he turned to look for an empty seat, talons tapping against the floor in a mixture of nervousness and excitement as he tucked his bag away and settled in for the trip.

It was a little under two hours later when it was announced that his destination was coming up, Robin bobbed cheerily as the train went along, his broad smile only widening as he took in the views and sights of the new city and the surrounding landscapes on the ride in. As farmland gave way to the suburbs and eventually the city itself it was the blooming trees caught much of his attention, always a pleasant sight. The train soon rolled to a halt at the station and he eagerly grabbed his bag, slinging it over his rounded shoulder and getting off the carriage, looking over the station with a sigh of slight relief that he had made it on time. With a lot of time to spare in fact, it was 7:30AM, all around him commuters and the like were buzzing about, there may even have been the odd student among them but it was quite difficult to tell, he also assumed it to be unlikely that many of them would be arriving as early as he had given the station wasn't too far from the academy.

Robin frowned, he was at the station and he was in the right city but...He didn't actually know the way. The winged man stood looking rather lost and confused as his lips pursed in a thoughtful manor, moving over towards a bench he hopped up and perched upon it before fumbling with his bag, setting it aside then looking through for some of the paperwork he had been sent ahead of his arrival. "There must be a map or something in here..." He mumbled to himself, not yet panicking, it wasn't like he was anywhere to close to being late.

Mizuhana Yoshiba crossed her arms, the academy pamphlet loosely held by her right hand.

“Tch. This is it, huh?” Yoshiba muttered, unamused by not only Chihaiten but herself. It was no secret that Chihaiten was known for getting results from their students but it was still a school that was proud that made something out of people who weren’t worthy of the more prestigious academies—and for any other student that may have been a breath of fresh air. But Yoshiba didn’t see herself as the worst of the worst by a long shot. Mizuhana Yoshiba was the daughter of two acclaimed pro heroes. She had worked hard to be a cut above anyone else she had ever met. She pushed herself every single day. But this was where she ended up, all because she wasn’t good at the unimportant nonsense that was on the acceptance exams of every single hero academy in Japan—book smarts. Yoshiba sighed as she moved forward. Maybe if she had been better with books she would've been at UA instead.

As she moved through the hallway corridors she knew that this would be the beginning of her hero career whether she liked it or not. There was no going back in time and doing better; she didn’t have a time quirk, if such a thing even existed. Chihaiten would be remembered as the academy where the history books would note that the legendary pro hero Mizuhana Yoshiba attended and graduated at the top of her class. The thought was a compromise Yoshiba made with herself to amend for her failure of attending the academy in the first place. She would get her hero license and be remembered as the best. There was no question in her mind about that fact.

Everyone here is second to me. Sidekicks, all of them.

As everyone began filing into the hall, the blue-haired teenager knew it was time. She wasn’t one of those second-rate delinquents who valued herself so little that she would ever consider being late. It didn’t matter what the headmistress had to say about Chihaiten, Yoshiba had already made up her mind and figured out a set of goals, as unrealistic as they may have been. Still, she would sit down with the sidekicks in the section of the ceremony halls that were designated to her “year group”. Mizuhana Yoshiba was not a slacker. She hated slackers.

Yoshiba was a hero, after all.

Chihaiten Academy, School Grounds
Guide:
(Thoughts)
"Conversation"

Morning comes hot for Reina as she awoke and proceeded with the daily things that a human should such as eat, sleep and get dressed for the day, lock n loaded. Preparing to leave, Reina is escorted all the way to her family's limousine, she's escorted by ten bodyguards and ultimately denies their escort of taking her to school. Reina believes that she should be independent and not rely on her family's resources, she does not care on what her parents think even though they'll receive the news late; renown pro-heroes like them are too busy to take care of their children.

After such time the limousine reached Chihaiten Academy, front gate, Reina mentions to her driver that she'll take it from here and making it the start of her independent life. Reina proceeds to the hallways and witnessed a handful of students, she keeps it lowkey as she does not want attention. She walks fast enough to avoid it. (Chihaiten... I couldn't care less on why I picked this school.) A small glimpse of Reina's flashback, declining offers to most school that she had take the entrance exam as well as ultimately declining U.A's offer in spite of passing it.

Reina gazes at the school hall and quickly listened to what the superior had to say but barely listened anyway. With full of confidence and "minding my own business" mindset, she is determined to achieve her goal not because she's the daughter of two renown pro-heroes along with her heroic lineage but it's because she knows for a fact that her quirk is dangerous. Secondly she dislikes meddling with other people's affairs and hates rivalry, she would rather focus on her own growth than to downplay others. (Today, I am not defined by bloodline nor walking the shadow of my parents. I will show you my way of becoming a hero!)

With a lukewarm water bottle grasped tightly around his hands, Misaki stared up at his new school and the place he would be living from now on. He couldn't say that he would miss his parents too much, as they forced him to call everyday, plus he took a extra long bath before arriving here, so he would definitely be hydrated and less prone to stabbing people with his now jelly-like fins; he even brought a water bottle to help with that. The boy was almost certain that he was ready for anything that would be thrown at him this first day, and he was hoping to get through it without making a big fool of himself...

Misaki strolled as confidently as he could towards the academy, avoiding as much eye contact as possible. His ombre hair swished as if underwater as he couldn't keep his eyes downcast from the large buildings that were now surrounding him. And after getting swift remarks from a rather tall woman, Misaki hurried to the assembly hall as fast as his scaly legs could take him, trying his best to ignore the glances and stares he was given.

Teal green eyes widened with surprise as he entered the main building, it finally sinking in that he was going to this school, starting at the moment. Unable to hide the fear and anticipation on his face, Misaki took a swig from his water bottle, only to recoil at the warm taste.

It didn't take Misaki long at all to find the assembly hall as waves of people were making their way into the double doors. Misaki hurriedly slid into the mass and followed along, a small but happy smile accentuating his features.

Once he finally got inside, Misaki went to find his year, which was closer to the front then he had expected. He ended up taking a seat right behind a small girl with beautiful baby blue hair he would want to swim in. Of course he didn't say such a thing out loud, scratching the back of his ear fin with a silly grin at just the though, but simply admired from where he was, unsure of if he was ready to engage with someone so suddenly. His gaze shifted slightly to another girl as white as snow, with silky black locks of hair not much farther away; she had to be new too, right? Regardless of such, Misaki took a shaky breath, dreading for the worst, but hoping for the best.

'OK, you're in. That's as good a start as we can get,' Noah Acosta thought to himself, as he entered through the front gate and followed everyone else to the assembly hall, 'Now just don't blow it at the last second, and panic over something dumb...'

...

Truth be told, Noah was surprised that he made it into Chihaiten Academy. All four of the other Hero Schools that he tried to get in had turn him down for the same reason every time; while his written exam entries were more than passable, his lack of control over his Quirk proved too much of a liability for the other students. That's what he was told over and over again, and it was a valid point. Noah knew little about how exactly his Quirk worked, but he knew the damage it was capable of should it have gotten out of hand. So why, then, was someone like him accepted into Chihaiten? He could only think of two possibilities: either their standards were that low that they'd accept someone despite them having flaws that one could not afford to overlook, in which case there was little wonder why they were considered "the bottom of the barrel" in terms of Hero Schools, or they somehow knew that he had a court order to report a successful admission or have his Quirk taken away, and had reached out to him out of pity. Noah supposed he shouldn't think too much into it and get on inside already.

In any case, Noah clambered his way through the masses, zigzagging through people as he tried to find somewhere in the area where he was supposed to sit. No doubt that he had to make all sorts of apologies along the way. There was one especially awkward moment where he bumped into the side of one of the taller students, having paid way too much attention ensuring he was in the clear from those he already passed, and absolutely none at looking where he was actually going... until it was too late to do anything about his course.

"Crap..." he muttered, realizing his blunder the instant he made it, "Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you, it's just... Look, I'm just trying to find a seat like everyone else, and there's way too many people here and... apparently I can't avoid everyone."

Noah scoffed at how pathetic he must've sounded. He hadn't even dared look up and meet the taller student's eyes. He could only pray that they would have mercy on the failure that would've stood before them.

Kyoji Sonoda
Interacting with Misaki Kaito @Tenma Tendo

Kyoji "Kyo" Sonoda had been up since dawn. Instead of subjecting himself to restless sleep filled with thoughts of the upcoming day, he set his alarm so he would have enough time to get in one last training session before moving into Chihaiten to begin his journey to Pro-hero. Luckily, unlike most teenagers, Kyo was a morning person, and was either up when or before the sun rose. So there he was, tip-toeing around the kitchen as to not wake up his family while preparing for the busy day ahead. Kyoji's duffel bag was already waiting near the front door, having been packed the night before. While shoveling a quickly prepared breakfast down the hatch and intermittently gulping down a steamy mug of coffee, Kyoji busied himself with checking the news app on his phone. He searched articles for updates on any Pro-heroes and was elated to see a team of said heroes had captured a nuisance villain crew based near his city. Those muggings that have been happening recently might stop with those guys finally behind bars... Kyo commented in his head, teeth flashing briefly before another splash of dark beverage was swallowed.

With the dishes washed and put away, Kyoji exited his home and hustled to the shed out back. Inside the wooden structure was a body opponent bag and he spent the first part of his training running through some drills to warm up. His full routine was a mix of martial arts training and actual workouts. At the end, he was practically bursting with energy and ready to take on the day. When Kyo returned to the house, the rest of his family was eating breakfast. "Got a workout in before your big day, eh?" His older sister guessed, as she lovingly eyed the pile of food on her plate. "Just my usual morning stuff."

The Sonoda's sent Kyoji off with quick but meaningful goodbyes, knowing he couldn't stand being late. "Make sure to take pictures for us!" Were his mother's final words, to which Kyo answered with, "That's what I do best!"

Kyoji spent the long bus ride with headphones in, his "Amped Up" playlist playing on shuffle. The boy took in the scenery of the drive while bopping his head to the rhythm. When it was finally his stop, Kyo bounded off the bus and stared in awe at Chihaiten like he had never seen a school before. He made sure to take a picture of himself in front of his new school for the family back home. He quickly posed, holding out his own palm in front of him, the lens that sat there emitted a quiet shutter noise and a quick camera flash alerted Kyo that the picture had been taken. He set a reminder on his phone to email the photo to his mom later. "This is where it's all going to happen then, huh?" He whispered to himself, not being able to hide his smile. Not wanting to get too caught up in the scenery and miss out, Kyoji speed-walked like a grandma on her way to bingo. Once he found his bearings, Kyoji found himself bouncing down a hallway packed with students, not hiding his interest in other people, especially ones with mutation quirks.

Kyoji managed to find his class without too much of a hassle, having asked an upperclassman where he was supposed to go. They were surprisingly helpful and Kyo thanked her for the assistance. Finding himself with the other early birds, Kyoji couldn't keep himself quiet for long. He had been nonchalantly, or at least he thought he was, checking out the other boy who arrived before him. No, not "checking out," but the guy had a really interesting mutation quirk, his body resembling something like a fish. Finally he had to say something. "Are those things sharp?" Was the first question he thought of, followed by, can you swim as fast as a fish? Can you breathe underwater? Does water smell in the same way air does? But he kept those follow up inquiries to himself, opting to gesture towards the boy's "fin" like appendages and grinning to show his interest was genuine.

Misaki tried his hardest to mind his own business, but there were far too many sights and smells that were new to him, that he couldn't resist looking around with wonder in his eyes.

"Are those things sharp?" The merman would have thought that the other was talking to someone else, but luckily he was attentive enough to realize a tall and clearly athletic boy with long white hair, bright blue, or were they green? eyes and milky white skin sitting nearby him. He saw how the other gestured to his fins, in particular the fins that sprouted just behind his ears. The one in question couldn't help but smile brightly at the question. It was more than obvious that the white haired boy wasn't trying to mock him or anything, so he obliged, bringing his free hand up to move the current rubbery fin.

"They get really sharp when I'm dehydrated, but n-now their harmless! You can touch them if you w-want!" Misaki explained with a pleasant smile before holding out an arm if he wanted to really touch. It felt nice to talk to some his age and that probably wouldn't beat him to a pulp for how he looked, but instead because of his quirk.

It took a moment for him to realize that he hadn't even introduced himself yet! Fumbling around in attempts to get the right words out, Misaki's face began to redden with embarrassment. "Oh, s-sorry! Uh, I...um...my name is M-Misaki Kaito! It's a pleasure t-to, um, m-meet you..." His voice slowly dropped to a whisper as he lowered his head and didn't know what to say afterwards. His face was practically burning from embarrassment. Hopefully he didn't scare off the first person that came up to him at this school...

"Huh, That's all?" Zentaro Kobashigawa mumbled to himself as he looked beyond the gate Chihaiten Academy. He wasn't impressed. He never was theses days. "Tch." He ran a rough calloused hand though his curly pink hair as he let out an annoyed grunt. He started to make his way though the gates and he weaved his way though the students not even giving any of them a second glance or consideration. He knew why he was here and everybody is just in his way.

As Zentaro made his way though the hall his mind started to think up useless thoughts. That he won't get into since placing any consideration on such idle sentimentality is pointless and only muddles up his mind with useless emotions that waste everybody's time. But a not so useless thought or at least consideration was how many of these youthful hopefuls are thinking such useless sentimentality like his mind tried to? All of them? A good number of them? None of them? Zentaro wouldn't know, but if they were half as good as he was they would suppress any uselessly idle emotions, he only thought of them himself because of a fallacy that he could be equals to these people. He's better then every single one of theses idle youths.

He made his way into the hall of the school. He looks to be one of the first ones of his age range. Not that his appearance would easily point to him being a first year. But many of the students looked feeble and weak. Pathetic, Really. Zentaro can't wait to beat these people down to the ground so he can stronger and stronger and surpass each and every single one of them many times over.

Zentaro walked closer to the front of the hall and he took a seat next to a boy with a mutation quirk that gave him fish like fins all over his body from what Zentaro could tell, not that impressive in all honesty but maybe there was more then meets the eye, but he doubts it. While he was taking a seat, the fish boy was already talking to another boy who looked fragile and could break if you looked at him too hard. Somehow more pathetic then the fish boy. Zentaro let out a sigh, he choose an annoying spot, but it'd be a waste of time to move, so he just has to endure their pointlessly useless social interaction.

Why do people like to talk so much? It wastes so much time and energy that could be used to get better and stronger. He can't understand it, its so frustrating.

So annoying.

A strand of Yoshiba’s hair twitched, swaying back and forth like as if were the tail of an upset animal, as she heard the incessant mumbling behind her between two other first year students. She hadn’t turned around to face them nor did she intend on interacting with them, though they still already gave off a poor first impression by being annoying; similar to nails on a chalkboard. A light whiff of breath escaped her mouth, albeit quietly. Kaito Misaki. She would have to remember that name in case she needed to thin out the long line of applications to be her sidekick.

Yoshiba did wonder how long it would be until the headmistress demanded silence and everyone’s attention to go on about their pointless introductory speech. Why not just get to the point? This wasn’t a normal school, this was a hero academy, so why operate like it was some sort of basic primary school for the quirkless? Why waste everyone’s time with spectacles like this? If it were up to her, none of this would even be a “thing” and students would be ushered into their classrooms to get real work done. Had Yoshiba not wanted to be seen as the best, as indicated by her front and center appearance, she would’ve skipped out on the ceremony outright. She could tolerate sidekicks acting like idiots and being bored if it was going to get her recognized as the only hero Chihaiten worth noting.

Which was exactly, in her mind, the truth of the matter.

As if asserting her dominance, she spoke clearly to the students behind her without even turning to look at them. “Maybe you morons should pay attention before you get excited. This isn’t a playground. This is a hero academy.”

Location: Aunt's House --> Chihaiten Academy
Interacting with: Robin @Riddle Me This

First day of Chihaiten - and Rikuo was ecstatic. The night before, he could barely sleep because of his excitement. He always wanted to be a Pro-Hero. While he certainly could have applied to UA, he couldn't afford such an extravagant school. However, even while Chihaiten isn't as prestigious, it still has a good reputation among the group of hero schools. His aunt recently had to move into an inn near it too, since she was going on a research trip on an area near Chihaiten - or at least, relatively nearer to it. It all played to his favor. It was really rather surprising, since his aunt really didn't want him to go at first. She even went as far as giving him a strict lecture as to why being a hero isn't as good as it sounds like.

She had been initially worried about it. After all, her brother had died because of a villain attack - she didn't want his son to suffer the same fate. However, there was no stopping this electric speedster. He wanted to become a hero, and he will become a hero. That depends on how he fares, but he was going to do his best. He didn't want anyone to suffer the way he did when his father was killed and his mother died because of the stress that came with it. His aunt felt bad for the young boy - that was the reason why she took him in - but it would seem that he bounced back quickly - too quickly. She was suspicious about his actions, but decided that he should lead his own life.

Rikuo didn't have to ride any buses or cars to get to his destination. Since they were already close, he only needed to run there. Run, in a sense where he uses his quirk. Normally, using his quirk would be forbidden - but without anyone to see, it wouldn't be so bad. "I'm off Aunt Izumi!" He shouted as he exited. He barely heard her reply as he hefted the backpack onto his shoulder. He took out one of his tasers. He pressed the button and watched as the electricity jumped from the opening - finding something to fry. A grin formed on his face before he stuck it to his arm.

He never really knew how to describe the feeling whenever he got electrocuted. It wasn't painful - it was energizing. Every fiber on his body wanted to move, and that was probably for the best. He took his first step and then the next and then the next until he was running. He stowed away the taser in one of his hidden pockets. The scenery around him was going by in a blur, but he could still perceive what they were properly - a side effect of being a speedster. Rikuo vaulted over a railing as he began taking the sidewalk of the concrete road, now exposed to anyone who was paying attention to the surrounding area. But come on, a blur that looked like a human? Probably just the light messing with your eyes!

Rikuo felt the electricity within him burn out just as he arrived at the station. It wouldn't be a very long walk until he got to his destination so he decided against using his quirk. As he began to walk, he noticed a male with bird-like features. What were they called again? Ah, right, the Tengu! The humanoid bird yokai of the legends. He was perched on top of the bench, looking for something in his bag. He approached the Tengu and then waved, putting on a smile as to not intimidate the man with the mutation quirk. "Heya! You look a little lost. Maybe I can help?" He offered. It was still pretty early and it shouldn't take long for him to help this guy and get to Chihaiten. If all else fails, he'll just use his quirk again to avoid being late.

"Gotta head to Chihaiten soon though. I feel like I'm gonna be late if I hang around any longer."

Kyoji Sonoda
Interacting with Misaki Kaito and Yoshiba Mizuhana @Tenma Tendo@Inkarnate

Kyoji liked who he soon would be told was Misaki Kaito, the boy didn't seem to be annoyed at Kyo's interest in his quirk. Sometimes people became offended or annoyed when Kyoji asked them about their abilities even if he was genuinely interested. Kyoji enjoyed being around people who were open to new experiences and knew how to carry on a conversation. He believed that being a hero wasn't all about your quirk or your skill in combat, there were many people who could be heroes even without the most flashiest or powerful abilities.

"They get really sharp when I'm dehydrated, but n-now their harmless! You can touch them if you w-want!" Kyo immediately took Misaki up on his offer, his curiosity spurring him. He tentatively poked Misaki's arm fin a couple of times, even squishing part of it between his index finger and thumb. "That is so cool!" Kyoji exclaimed before retracting his hand, already he had met someone with a cooler quirk than himself and it had taken less than five minutes of being at the school.

"Oh, s-sorry! Uh, I...um...my name is M-Misaki Kaito! It's a pleasure t-to, um, m-meet you..." Misaki drew back, and it took Kyo a second to realize it seemed to be from some sort of anxiety and not something he had said. Kyoji grinned once again as if to say, don't be so nervous! "Nice to meet you too, my name is Kyoji Sonoda and I'm gonna to be a Pro-hero someday! And if your quirk is as awesome as it looks then I'm sure you'll end up being a Pro-hero too." Kyo held up his right hand for a high-five, but let it drop when he was distracted by another voice in front of them.

“Maybe you morons should pay attention before you get excited. This isn’t a playground. This is a hero academy.” The voice came from a small girl with blue hair, and Kyoji noticed with a flare of annoyance that she hadn't even turned to face them. What was the big idea? All they were doing was socializing, this was a school after all. Kyoji was quick to answer, and you could hear the surprise in his voice that someone would be so outwardly rude to someone they had never met.

"Hey, what's the big idea? There's no one even on stage yet." He pointed out, gesturing towards the empty assembly podium. "All we're doing is talking, since when did that become a crime? Why don't you just mind your own business and we'll mind ours? We're here for the same reason, we should all be friends. Being a hero means helping people, not calling them idiots..."

Then Kyoji turned back to Misaki like nothing had just happened and restarted the conversation he was having with him. "Sorry about that. So can you breathe underwater too?"

“Tch.” Yoshiba’s tongue smacked against the back of her teeth, unamused by the statements returned to her. Her former schoolmates didn’t talk to her like that and neither did the kids at the orphanage in her “formative” years. Her eyes went blank with animosity as she slowly turned to look at the boy who dared to challenge her. Did he think he was going to get away with this? In center stage? To mock her during her moment? Her hair straightened, as if Yoshiba herself was tense and unflinchingly irked by the boy’s response.

“You mind repeating that, sidekick?” She droned, her expression possibly causing some tension and anxiety as she cut the other boy off from responding to the question.

Misaki couldn't help but let out a small laugh as Kyoji touched his fins. He was use to a lot of children and girls doing the same, so this was a normal thing for him. As the other boy was having his way with his mutation quirk, another boy with short pink hair sat next to Misaki. The merman smiled faintly at the other as a form of recognition before turning back to Kyoji, who had introduced himself despite his odd anxiety.

"Kyoji Sonoda...y-yeah, I'm sure we'll both be a-awesome heroes!" Misaki tried the name out for himself, smiling gratefully at his new friend. He saw the other raise a hand to give a high five, but unfortunately he never got the chance to bring his own hand up, as the girl with the baby blue hair sitting in front oof him seemed to have some words for them, despite them not even talking to her.

This somewhat harsh remark seemed to suck all of the happiness out of Misaki as he suddenly slouched and lowered his gaze sadly. He was use to taking rude comments, but that didn't mean that it didn't still hurt... And although he wasn't expecting it, Kyoji had the bravery to speak up for both of their sake, putting the short girl into her place.

Almost as if he hadn't even been interrupted, Kyoji turned back to the merman and continued the conversation. Misaki blinked in slight confusion as he stared at the white haired man, surprise locked on his face. Unable to get out of his stupor in time, the blue haired girl took this chance to retaliate, and also raise Misaki's blood pressure.
"W-Wait, um, g-guys? I don't think we sh-should argue..." He whispered, the distress clear on his face.

Pathetic.

Not even a few seconds of his arrival and people were already arguing around him like some kind of useless trash. Their pointless and worthless words didn't even register as human language instead to him it reminded him of the wasteful nature of humanity. Wasting such energy and time on pointless endeavors that does nothing to improve themselves in any shape or form. It is utterly disgusting. It almost makes him want to take part in their irreverent existences to make their existence worth a fraction of his own but that would be a waste of precious energy on his part. And it would be fool hardy of him to grace them with his greatness.

...

Zentaro let out a sigh, against his better judgement he will correct their path, if he is to be classmates with these wasteful fools he will need to correct them to what is right. It's the least he can do. These fool will waste their lives away if he doesn't do anything, these creatures truly are pathetic excuses for humans.

"Don't waste each other's time with such drivel...You already wasted enough of each other's time... and mine." Zentaro said as he scratched the back of his neck in annoyance. Hopefully, the tiny lost child and the fragile boy will heed his words. If not he will not waste anymore time on their existences.

Yoshiba nearly sighed. Despite the pink-haired teenager’s stoic dismissiveness irritating her almost as much as the boy who dared challenge her, he did have a point. Why get worked up all over the antics of sidekicks in the first place? Why did this “Sonodoa Kyoji” set her off in the first place when he was nothing compared to her to begin with? It was a good question that did not need an answer. The pleas of the cowardly boy only reinforced this fact—his stammering and weakness apparent as his comment on arguing echoed in her head.

“Fine.” She uttered, unamused by the situation. “Not like I want to waste my time on the whims of sidekicks, anyway.”

Yoshiba turned her head away from the trio, her focus moving to the stage. How much longer was this nonsense going to be? How long would she have to tolerate such things?

The Train Station: 7:35AM
Interacting with: Rikuo @Polaris North

A look of surprise could be seen running over the bird person's face as Robin jerked to attention and moved the sheet of paper he was holding aside to look towards the new arrival who greeted him. "Oh, hello!" He chirped happily, offering a smile at the seemingly random act of kindness from a stranger. "Yes, I'm actually on my way to the academy, first day and all, presumably the same for you?" The hint of a foreign accent bled into his words but it wasn't too striking, and fairly tough to pin down. Folding up the welcome guide and putting it back into his back, Robin hopped off the bench and slung the bag over his shoulder. "The help is much appreciated, I'd have had to go up looking around the place and I'm not too sure what the restrictions are on flight in public around the city." The young man chuckled, thinking back to a few tips he'd been given before departing for the academy, the laws on quirk use being much more strictly enforced around cities.

"My name's Robin by the way, Robin Hara. I'm grateful for your assistance." He offered a small and courteous bow to the potential classmate then stood back up, patting down his bag to make sure he hadn't lost anything. Studying the man before him, Robin was quite delighted to have had such a positive interaction with the first person in the new city, he was also rather curious if it was out of genuine kindness or if perhaps the academy was using older students to help direct and guide the newbies. A slight shrug ran over his shoulders, either way it worked out well, he was going to be making on time...Unless the whole thing was an elaborate ploy by some criminal to mug an easy and susceptible target, not a pleasant thought and one that was quickly pushed away in favour of the more idealistic view that Robin so often held, it was a bridge he could cross if he came to it.

Hisano Okabe

The one thing Hisano always remembered when she came to these places was that she was tall. It was somewhat easy to forget on the farm, where she didn't always talk to that many outsiders, and her family was fairly tall themselves. But coming to a city or, as it were, coming to this academy reminded her that many people did not come all the way up to 6 feet tall. Of course, then there was the odd time she would come across somebody that was taller than her. Wherever she turned, there was a reminder of how isolated it was back home. This stint at Chihaiten was going to be educational in more ways than one.

Hisano arrived in the hall, as instructed, and took a seat. She could see a lot of people milling around and chatting. These city kids were always such slackers. Weren't they all supposed to be getting ready to pay attention to an important announcement? But she thought that maybe it reflected on the school as much as the students; if they didn't care to have them all sit down and shut up until the last minute, then that was their decision. She imagined they were all going to keep whispering and chatting throughout the whole thing too. That tended to be the way these things worked. As for Hisano, she planned to remain seated and await the start of the presentation. She wouldn't mind making a touch of small talk beforehand, though, as long as it wasn't continued into the presentation itself. As of yet, nobody had decided to engage her, however...

Vincent was up at 5 am. He spent yesterday getting a map of the school and the city it was in. It was supposed to help him speed up the process of getting to the academy early enough so he could get the lay of the land. Sadly he really shouldn't have gone to bed at 2am. He was beyond exhausted and his hunger was telling him he had to make a big enough meal or else his stomach would be rumbling the entire day. He created his "entrance" next to the bed as he rolled through the portal and rolled out on the floor. Luckily he kept the place clean, but sadly he kept it clean simply so he could do this sort of thing.

It was 5:50 a.m. when Vincent left his house through a portal as he was chewing on the last strip of bacon.

"Now let's figure this out",he exhaled deeply as he looked down from a small mountain that gave him a great visual of the city. The cold air rushed over him making him shiver and forcing his mind to wake up. It also caused him to gobble down the bacon before it got too cold. He savored the warmth as he scanned the map and surveyed the city below him. ""I really should have gone to the school before hand so that I could just rift there. But i couldn't be bothered." Vincent sighed once more as he disliked this part of himself, but also knew it would take some miracle to break this cycle.

6:05 am -
Though in reality it wasn't a very long time to cross the distance that Vincent had it felt like eternity due to him having to find decent high ground so he could port further away. It didn't help that he had to port back to his house and grab the binoculars. It almost took 10 seconds.

6:07 am -
Vincent had finally reached the Academy grounds, but unlike the other student he had actually rifted from behind. He decided to walk around so that his memory can take in the locations better. If he ported too much he wouldn't remember the location enough to allow him to accurately and precisely create the destination points.

The grounds were huge and he hadn't even a fifth of it. It was getting close to ceremony time so he rifted to the roof and in seeing his fellow students making their way he pulled out his binoculars and found a decent location in front of the main gate as he created and linked his portals. Vincent stepped through and followed behind his fellow students as he headed in the direction as everyone else as if he was some kind of sheep.

Reina watched with guilt for how other students are being downed by the blue haired girl and thought she could have done something. For one she didn't bother on how the blue haired girl downed the other students and asked herself (Why don't I help?). Why let the weak get stomp by the strong? When in fact, all of them are just first year students who know little about each other, there is no valid point to judge each other. Why bother? Why just why? She sighed to calm herself in regard to the situation. Reina hates people who have such superiority complex.

Popping out of nowhere, Reina barged into their conversation without warning. Surely they would have been startled and have their spines send chilling like seeing a ghost. Reina's presence alone is intimidatingly cold, literally cold. "You know.." Shebreathes heavily as she initiated the conversation with the lot. "Let's not mind people like that and chill. Talking to such mongrels makes us as mongrel too. So focus on things that ummm that gives growth" Reina is referring to the blue haired girl who berated them a while ago. Since she's not used to initiating a normal conversation, things tend to get awkward.

"All of you... continue to where you guys left off and bond. Heroes are suppose to bond and connect with each other. Kaito I heard you love fish..." Every single thing that spurs out of her mouth sounded mature but the way she said it have the funny bone to it. For one, connect can mean perverted and growth can particularly mean let's make babies. At the long run, Reina's habit of popping out of nowhere would give the vibe of who the heck are you and don't do that! Then again, she's been observing the ruckus.
