As for the opening date, I'm working on the OOC as we speak. Character Sheet skeleton is done, if a little unformatted. I was wondering if it'd be ok if I had an animagus, I have a character I usually use for harry potter roleplay but she's an animagnus. my character
Name: ember rowan Appearance: A tiny girl with a light irish accent, porcelain skin, light freckles, a button nose, shy fern green eyes that are usually downcast or reading a book, and tawny hair. Her tiny stature makes her witches robes over sized, when she's not in her robes she wears very conservative clothing of neutral colored sweaters, black skirts, leggings, and lace-up boots. Her animagni form is a light tawny wolf with the same shy fern eyes as her, that's the defining trait of her animagni that sets the wolf apart from the rest.
Age:16 Year:5 House: raven claw Classes taken: -care of magical creatures -potions -herbology -defense against the dark arts -divination -charms
Short bio: She was born in a hippogriff farm in northern Ireland to a squib and a muggle-born who was a gifted animagni. her mother the squib was incredibly introverted and prefers animals over humans, more specifically hippogriffs over humans, she gave both traits to her but her father gave her his gift for magic and helped her become an animagni. She was so excited the day she went and got registered as one, but her mother was not, but kept her sweet smile on her face for her daughters sake. when she finally started at Hogwarts she was instructed by her mother to keep her other form a secret and that is what she has done. ember never understood why, but she obeyed her mother's wishes.
Personality: She is rather shy and introverted, she would rather study in the library then eat lunch. Her usual company consists of a plum purple pygmy puff named windy and a fox that thinks it's a cat named fall.

when she was ten she found a fox pup in the forest. she couldn't just leave it so she brought it home and because it was fall she named it that, but as it grew she soon found out she found a fox, but since the little one was domesticated and acted like a cat she kept it as such.
Personal possessions: A deluminator that has the ability to take light away and put it back, reavealer that can make invisible ink visble, a Hatch & Mortimus Witch's Steamer Trunk 4.5 x 3 x 2.5 ft. (Exterior) 12 x 6.5 x 8 ft. (Interior), and a Featherlight book bracelet that reduces books to the size of charm bracelet charms which can be then hung from the bracelet (32 books) Relationships: none NPCs: Her mother pyre rowan, a kind looking squib that's a bit jealous of her magical daughter and her kind hearted, down to earth father heath(they might get mentioned in letters).
It takes skill, practice, and patience for wizards and witches to become Animagi. The process of becoming an Animagus is long and arduous, and has the potential to backfire and cause the transformation to go horribly wrong, such as permanent half-human, half-animal mutations if done incorrectly. Many witches and wizards simply feel that their time might better be employed in other ways, as the skill is of limited practical use unless one has a great need of disguise or concealment. Part of the process by which one becomes an Animagus is holding the leaf of a mandrake in their mouth for an entire month, using the leaf for the creation of a potion, and reciting an incantation (Amato Animo Animato Animagus) on a daily basis. If the leaf is removed or swallowed, the witch or wizard will have to start over again.
At the next visible full moon (if the night happens to be cloudy one will have to start over), the wizard must spit the leaf in a phial within range of the moon's pure rays. To the moon-struck phial, the wizard or witch must add one of their own hairs, a silver teaspoon of dew that has not seen sunlight or been touched by human feet for seven days, and the chrysalis of a Death's-head Hawk Moth. The mixture must be put in a quiet, dark place and not be in any way disturbed. The next thing that must happen is for the wizard to wait for an electrical storm, whenever that might be. During this waiting period the wizard must, at sunrise and sundown without fail, chant the incantation Amato Animo Animato Animagus with the tip of their wand placed over the heart. When, at last, there is a lightening storm, the wizard ought to move immediately to a large and secure place, recite the incantation one final time, and then drink the potion.
TL;DR Parents making their kids unregistered animagi is something Wizard CPS will take your kids away for, aside from being ludicrously difficult and almost completely pointless.
I would recommend waiting for the character sheet to be released before submitting anything, but as the good man says above - there's absolutely no reason for your character to be an Animagus. It's hard to achieve, and it seems unlikely that her parents would aid her in becoming one at such a young age.
