Posted finally! Here's a brief dramatic entrance for those still wanting their dosage of early-access action.

Just a quick note about the named minor NPCs: as minor NPCs are named, there'll be a small thing about them in the first post in the characters section. Feel free to use them in your non-combat posts and the like (whether you're directly interacting with them, or they're just there in the background or whatever), just make sure if you're doing anything contentious with them you check with me first.

Obviously if you're in combat against them, you don't get to control their actions :P

Also, edit: @pkken only inter-guild fights are forbidden. Fighting within the guild, while still frowned upon if a serious fight rather than for training, is still perfectly fine.

About that, could I have more info those guys? Vega plans on going, but not before he gets to vent a bit, so I was wondering if I could write that all up myself, or if you had any directions in mind.

Sure thing! What info do you need?

Angela is a hands off control mage who can link with up to five people (she's already linked with the team) to speak into their minds and coordinate their movements. She's also able to hypnotize people she makes eye contact with, making them forget things temporarily, become terrified, trust the target implicitly, go to sleep etc. Most 'Vega roundups' thus far have ended up with her forcing him to make eye contact somehow and just putting him to sleep. Her weapons are a crossbow and a shortsword, both of which she is extremely adept with.

Dennis is a transforming mage who can turn bits and pieces of his body into different beasts or animals, up to three parts at a time. His part in the fight is to turn into an incredibly strong creature, interpose himself between Vega and his targets, and just block.

Stevan is a lightning mage and a rapier user, focused on knocking out Vega if he drops his guard to him

Jardon is a living metal mage and a warhammer user, focused on ensnaring Vega, or projecting metal from the cage to form a conduit for Stevan's magic.

You're welcome to write up the full fight scene if you'd like, but send it to me via PM first so I can vet it and make changes. Don't expect this to be a close fight when it comes to it though, these guys know how Vega fights, and were specifically chosen because they're naturally good against his magic (except Angela). He could maybe take Stevan or Jardon by themselves on a good day, for reference.

What if the fight happen “off screen” so to speak? It would save time and preserve eveyone’s sanity.

Like he launches into then fight, then the next “scene” is all of them at the guild hall, with Vega a little worse for wear.

But then how will we get to watch Vega get pounded to a pulp?

I'm actually tempted to ruin the fight just for the lols.

There are factors like other players even if I'm his writer. They still have sway over some things.
