I'm fine with the pace, considering we're probably from all over the world... And like @Guardian Angel Haruki said, we all have real lives as well.

I've been pretty content with the pace, though that is mostly because holidays are coming 'round and it is nice to not feel super pressured to keep up with a thread while so much else is going on. XD

The only commentary I have is that going forward, it would be useful for all players to include a hider of what exactly they did that turn at the bottom of their post. I say this because as spells and abilities become more complex and in-depth, we might need to know who or what is affecting us, enemy and friend alike. For example, I can assure you I intend for our druid to cast Healing Spirit next turn, but what that would do would probably be unclear to half the folk here and I am fairly confident everyone wants a d6 worth of healing or more.

As for rate of posting, this has stayed lively and active enough to be no issue for me and my own tastes.

I second the above suggestion. Especially for the DM, it's very useful info to have. As for players, it helps us know info that's pretty important when there's no map to help us keep combat straight.

@0 Azzy 0 I like it how the Barnaby Brothers are not only led by a sister, but have another sister in their midst.

If I lead a group of bush bandits, it would be called the Barnaby Sisters, even if there was a brother or two in the mix

@Guardian Angel Haruki would it be wise to assume that we won?, and that the rest of the bandits are just running off?

It is fair to say they have ranged weapons and could easily, as bowmen and crossbowmen often did, retreat to fire another volley, leading their opponents along until they felled them by attrition, could maneuver no more, or ran out of bolts, or broke into full retreat. That said, I would say it is safe to ask, "Have you ever seen bandits and or soldiers with ranged weapons before?" Regardless, I do not think their would-be escape will come that easily, no matter what they choose. Either they dedicate to it and do not provoke, or they suffer a great number of potentially lethal counter-attacks.

Since there's a crossbow bolt up Bobbin's cloaca, I think it's fair to say they have ranged weaponry.

I mean, I feel like it is ultimately up to what your character would assume. I figure sometimes that means premature victory celebrations, which could end up being ruined by a quarrel in the butt.

Everyone's already answered this, but still as a DM I think it's best for me to say...

That's for you guys to figure out. >:)

@Guardian Angel Haruki Hooookay... First did the bandits near Safira disengage? If not can she have an attack of opportunity on one of them? Preferably the hick that rolled so bad on his crit By the way... Oh, Jeez... that was close

Next she would take the healing cuz she needs it, not sure how much movement that would spend. As a bonus she'll activate her Crimson rite which reduces her max hp, but gives her an additional 1d4 lighting damage. She'll use the rite on her crossbow, say some choice words to the Cap'n and fire at him if he's in range.

@ihinka Nope. The bandits near Safira were still in melee with Safira (have to be in order to make those attacks against her). The two bandits were knocked to 0 HP by Bobbin.

It doesn't take much movement to reach the healing aura.
The Captain is about 60 feet away from you.
