Age: Countless Eons | Height: 172 cm | Weight: Confidential

• Name: Eos
• Title/Epiphet: Supreme Queen of the Machina of Mankind, Her Royal Majesty, God Empress of Men
• Allegiance/Faction: Machina of Mankind
• Race: Ancestral Divine Machine

• Summary: Eos' story goes so far back that anyone other than herself and the remainder of the Nexus' powers that be won't know for sure how it was that the, recently rechristened, Supreme Queen took hold of her seat of power.

The most accepted theory, the one that goes into the Machina official registries and is taught at schools, is that the machine known as Eos was found by the humans of old, buried in some ancient ruins whose location remain a topic of heated dispute between Machina archaeologists to this day. It's said that Eos came to the help of humanity, liberating them from the hands of their Divine oppressors, and lighting the path to a brighter future.

Eons later, the power and influence of the Supreme Queen, progenitor of the Machina, are unparalleled, standing at a level far above any of her creations, her creations' creations, and the humans that pledged their eternal loyalty to Eos as a tribute for her guidance. It's thanks to her work that Mankind can rebuke the hordes of Hell and stand tall before the wrath of the Gods. It's no exaggeration to say that without Eos humanity would still be slaves, or succumb to the vice-like grip of despair.

—"All praises to the Queen! Glorious be her eternal name!"
The Triumph of Light, verse 16b

However, Utopia has a price. Said price is being that, in her efforts to protect humanity, Eos ended pushing them into the back seat of their own War. Why would she not? Men's bodies are weak. They break, bleed, and die with so little difficulty that falling from their beds can be a fatal wound. Men's minds are even weaker. They can be tempted, corrupted, or fall prey to words of "salvation" with uncanny ease. Men need to be protected, that's the number one law of the Machina; to protect men they'll do anything, keeping all but the most capable and vital ones of them away from active danger and happy, even if it means that humanity has to be kept in a gilded cage, with all of their needs and desires sated, but no real freedom.

The Supreme Queen's judgment is never wrong, she knows the best for all of us. Follow her words and you'll meet the light at the end of the long journey.

• Powers: Eos posses a wide array of powers, ranging from incredible durability and strength to a plethora of devastating attacks whose properties can't be replicated by any of her subjects. Her two most iconic abilities are described bellow:

— Amaterasu Drive: The core system responsible for making Eos who she is. The crystallized heart of a Solar Deity of old, which grants Eos not only a limitless source of power but all an exclusive power to stand on the same ground as highest of the Celestials and be the bane of all Demons. Eos can channel her divine power in a limitless number of ways but usually does so in the form of long-range beams of attacks. Engaging in melee is highly unbefitting of Supreme Queen.

— Silver Eyes: Eos is one of the rare beings graced with the Power of Creation —Silver Eyes— granting her the capacity to produce almost any resources the Machina need. When used in tandem with her Amaterasu Drive, Eos becomes a legitimate Star Forge; she has the capacity to produce any natural materials and energy in infinite quantities, making both the Machina and Mankind's existences easy beyond belief, with the caveat of total dependency on Eos in order to subsist.

Age: Countless Eons | Height: Irrelevant | Weight: Irrelevant

• Name: Deva
• Title/Epiphet: The Divine Imperator, The Immortal Remnant, Her Divine Will, Lost Monarch
• Allegiance/Faction: Angels of Heaven
• Race: Divine Enlightened Being

• Summary: The supreme and unquestionable ruler of Heaven, Imperator Deva’s past is, like the other faction rulers, shrouded in mystery. Some bring about rumors that she suddenly appeared from another world only to take the mantle as Heaven’s superior with ease. Such rumors further dwell into stories of the Imperator once being a human herself from the mortal realms who was granted a chance to ascend from her shattered world by a being one greater than the Nexus itself.

Indeed, the story reveals the Imperator’s world to be one of magic and teetering calamity, plagued by great beasts and conflict between imperial might and resistive force. This world, whatever it may have been, was said to be the source of Heaven’s magical Tomes. And when that world was finally decided over order and chaos, it faced the final judgment all realities must soon meet.

But these are just that; rumors that have yet to be proved or disproven. All that is known is that the Imperator has ruled over Heaven for as long as anyone can remember. And she will continue to do so until the end of time itself or perhaps until this war has ended.

• Powers: As one of the strongest beings among Heaven’s numbers, the Imperator is equally able to silence those that might challenge her word and will. Her power knows no boundaries, no borders of limitation.

— Call of Heaven: All of Heaven’s resources belong to the Imperator; so too then, is she able to draw on their strength. Her light is said to be the holiest among angels, able to purify those merely sought in her presence. So too then, is she able to use Heaven’s benediction in a variety of methods, be it offensively or defensively in combat. So long as there is light, it will bend to the Imperator’s whim.

— Astral Projection: Although the Imperator is mostly seen upon her throne, she is not inhibited. Through holy magics and arcane spells, she is able to project copies of herself that are fully functional and without flaw. These copies are near-limitless, and each possess the same power and might as their creator. One tell-tale sign of their presence is by a twinkle in their eye that may seem off-putting to most.

— Mauris Sit Divinum: Rumored to be the first Tome gifted to mankind; all Tomes have been fashioned after the Mauris Sit Divinum in some way. In its initial form, it becomes a large book of different colors displayed both on its front and back covers, creating a rainbow effect when displayed. Inside, the pages are lined with gold and filled with multiple different languages, some ever still yet to be translated. When activated, it is said that this great book will draw strength from the Tomes left untouched by time, enabling it the power to lay eternal judgement or damnation on one’s conscience.

• Name: Rufus
• Title/Epiphet: Vagrant King. The Creeping Chaos. Ruffles. That Idiot Over There. Chicken Flinger.
• Allegiance/Faction: Demons of Hell
• Race: Eldritch Horror

• Summary: Hell's central leadership has always existed in a swirling maelstrom of conflict where secretive coups where as common as vagabond swordsman demanding the crown at the end of their blade. As such, Hell has a long line of would be monarchs holding onto the ephemeral power for precious little time before being replaced once more. The truth of the matter was, Rufus was fond of long vacations and left this throne open while he gallivanted across space, time, and his girlfriend's couch.

Bearing the visage of a youthful human he commanded Hell from the comfort of a ratty couch he found by a dumpster, and passed decrees as random as they were counter intuitive. Anyone asked upon the infernal plane can regal one with tales of captive Angels being given command of armies on a whim, or of parties ruined by stray chicken nuggets hurled upon hell hounds. Whatever method exists to his madness has yet to be gleamed by the vast majority of his followers.

Yet Rufus reign was undisputed and no challenger to his couch could so much as blink before they were departed from his domain without a trace, and it was only in the course of an interstellar vacation to a galaxy far, far away that Hell came to have two new monarchs, the former's reign a paltry one in terms of length before the latter begrudgingly took office. The return of Rufus with ball and chain in toe aboard a crashing star ship riding the explosive current of an act of creation foretold an epic struggle between an Arch Demon, a enthusiastic gardener with a parasol, the Vagrant King, and a Primordial vampire glued to his hip!

Only for no such event to happen, and Rufus brought about sweeping to reform to Hell's government with the institution of a four person Oligarchy to usher in a golden age for all of Hell. He was just that nice of a guy.

• Powers:

— Thinking Outside the Box: One looks at Rufus and perceives a mortal shell existing in the present. Rufus looks at the universe and glimpses the past, present, and possibilities of the future simultaneously. The shifting of the cosmos and the slithering of the serpent coiled about the Nexus brush against his senses constantly. Rufus glimpses the possibilities for future intrigue and plucks them from the air, forging a new future from the abstract inanities others pass up.

— Portals: No one has witnessed Rufus fight. What he has achieved is through naught but the application of portals. There is no limit upon these portals, whether it be distance, time, or mass is irrelevant to the Vagrant King's ability. This is the pinnacle of the very concept of translocation, and one he covets above all other power, disdaining those who possess yet squander such feats.

— Monstrous Truth: What is seen is a lie, and what is truth is beyond comprehension. Should he wish it, the truth will be revealed, his name known, and those before his gaze shall witness the reality of the Creeping Chaos as it envelops them.

• Name: Suparna Wolgen
• Title/Epiphet: Queen of Carrion.
• Allegiance/Faction: Angels of Heaven
• Race: Sapient Maggot Collective

• Summary: Once upon a time, a great and terrible man set a plan into motion, and made quite a mess doing it. He lost an arm and thought to clean up the mess by kicking it off a cliff before going on his merry way. Landing on a sun baked rock cleft, this arm was left to fester and rot in the salty air,
and was soon set upon by voracious maggots in short order. The carrion which supped upon this arm were implanted for the seed of change generations down the line, a burgeoning awareness of the world around them. Yet this would go unheeded for a long time. Long enough for the world to end, and its fragments hurled together upon the great landmass that was the Nexus.

Feasting upon ever more dead the maggots grew in number, and with added mass came greater intellect, till one day it came to infest a pair of corpses and puppet them as their own bodies. These were the first, Suparna the child and Chirada the gutted Angel. Given their own nature as ravenous flesh eaters more at home among corpses and carnage then the chrome plated avenues of Hyperion, and finding the over consumption of demonic flesh left them averse to Holy Power, they initially sided with the Demons.

However after many failures, a bad break up with her only friend among, and finding herself mysteriously imprisoned within the Oblivion Dungeon where her memories of allegiance were stripped from her mind, Suparna attached herself to the Dragon Diana and left the Oblivion Dungeon under the banner of Heaven. Since then she's lived happily under intense scrutiny, languishing through Angelic drill instructors to train her in some manner of martial skill when she wasn't adventuring with Diana. In their most audacious excursion they descended to the snow capped wilds of Valhalla, vanquishing giant pachyderms and autonomous armor in order to claim a grand treasure of preserved Dragonoid Corpses, providing Suparna with a host of new vessels to puppet in battle

• Powers:

— Maggot Swarm: Suparna is not a girl who controls maggots, but a collective of maggots that inhabit a vessel. They act with near perfect synchronicity to aid the collective in battle, with swathes of maggots serving as ranged projectiles, a fast moving blanket underfoot for transportation, and a means to devour fleshy targets with ease. Thus, to destroy Suparna is not just to crush the body, but to destroy a majority of the swarm that comprises her.

— Many Hands, One Mind: The mind of a collective is well suited to controlling multiple bodies. Having been gifted with 12 strong dragon bodies that cover her weakness to wide reaching area of effect attacks from sources of fire, Suparna is proficient in using them in a seamless flow of combat between all in use through the maggots inside the various bodies. Additionally Suparna can create lesser 'zombies' out of enemies should her maggots enter the brain, though she would rather eat them whole to produce more maggots from the devoured mass. A quirk of having separate bodies is the development of individual personality quirks among them, attributed to the maggots within specializing themselves to the degree of distinct identity among the collective.
