So it's been a few more days, meaning even during the post Xmas lull they couldn't find the time to come online. Have you started writing something yet or do you need a suggestion on where to go now?

@bobert778, I hadn't put any thought into it yet, no. I was going to wait and see what happened. Figured I'd decide on what to do with you all if and when it came down to Jumper not coming back.

I'm at a bit of a crossroads in my mind about it- since Aut isn't really the type to give up on a job, particularly when she's been paid up front, so there'd need to be some sort of reason for her to stop. I could always write up a post detailing how she tailed him for a few days and saw nothing of concern... since that doesn't really force an interaction with a character that isn't here and gives me good cause for her to move on. But- then we'd have to burn a few days of RP to make that work and from what it seems like, that means a very long time IRL.

I'll try and put some thought into it, but if you all have any ideas I'm open to hearing about them.

If I'm not mistaken, Autumn hasn't had any meaningful interactions with other PC's yet. This gives you the freedom to say she'd been in town a few days, then work up to the current day if that's what you wanted to do? That way you don't need to wait those extra IC days and say they already happened- as far as we know that scene at the Inn happened a week ago.

Technically she's run into Serena outside of the bar, but we could fudge things and say that that happened a week later and that she'd been staying at the inn that entire time. Since there wasn't contingency set up for if nothing happened with her target, we can assume that she'd just be waiting for the strange little man to reappear and state that he no longer needed her to watch Jumper, since nothing happened.

If you're sure that's the route we want to take let me know and I can cook up a post. I'll check back when things are a little less crazy to see what we're going to do.

After reading that app I just want to reaffirm that I love everyone here and what they've done with their characters.

There's nothing decernably special about the grass, other than how it seems unseasonably green. Other than that it's just normal, fairly tall grass.

@lavulman

They sent me the same PM. I told them to read the rules and try again. Their profile is brand new so I'm not too peeved about a sloppy first attempt.

Use the @mention button to address specific people. Not certain who you're referring to, but regardless if you're trying to defend your character I wouldn't. You posted it to the RP without applying first, the character itself is a cookie cutter crime lord whose entire foundation is flawed, and in general the app is poorly cobbled together.

If you want to comment on people being a little mean, we can continue to be mean. If you want to submit your app for proper consideration in the correct format, we'll work with you, but as that character is now it's unacceptable. Read any of the other accepted applications; they put in work. Are you going to?

I sent in a request to get the sheet removed. @bobert778 do you think you could add a note in the character sheets section reminding people to only post their sheets in there once they get accepted?

Also for everyone else, I get that tidying up the sheets section is a bit of a lost cause at this point, but this RP is almost a year old now and we've gotten a fair number of characters since then; some are still here, some aren't, but I'm being completely honest when I say that I love them all. it was a bit crazy just scrolling through them all when I checked on that one sheet, though. I'll probably create a 0th post in there at some point with links to each sheet (as well as that reminder to get accepted first, come to think of it) but do you think you could put your sheets in a hider to help make things a bit neater? Whenever you can get around to it.

I wouldn't worry too much about the hiders since anyone who isn't active can't conform, and the quicklinks tend to keep things fairly tidy. I love quicklinks. Just my 2 cents- I don't mind shoving my apps in hiders if that's the cool new thing :P
