Honestly? Bastien was pretty surprised to see that this random stranger was so eager to play along with some weirdly convincing bullshit story after just being offered a vague amount of money. He couldn’t help but grin ear-to-ear as he listened to the man’s tale of near-fatal boar-fighting and never-happened adventuring. Hell, this guy was so good at faking it that Bastien made a mental note to inquire about the prospects of becoming partners in this kinda business together after this whole current escapade was over and done with. Dude seemed pretty sturdy, too-- definitely seen his own good share of fights, and the more blood a man’s spilt, the more Bastien liked ‘em. The only thing Bastien didn’t like, though, was the sudden pay raise the stranger made up; he was thinking of giving the man five bucks or something, but now it’s a whole meal? For three people, and some bird? Man, if he knew that was the price of a convincing ploy…

Nonetheless, the woman seemed to agree despite the rough start, and Bastien couldn’t be happier it all turned out okay in the end. Getting a team together so quickly was wonderful, and if they were all as good as they said they were, hitting those high-tier hunts would be sure to get some good coinage flowing. As Bastien fantasized about all the loot they could get if they became master hunters, the blonde lady introduced herself as Corine: a wandering Chocobo Knight looking for work and apparently also a good meal. It was a little frustrating that she was turned on to the idea of a night out at a restaurant so quickly, dashing his last hope that the dinner plan could fall through yet still, but he betrayed his own feelings by giving her a melodramatic bow. “Name’s Bastien. I’m certain it’ll be a pleasure teaming up with you...” And then the smirk. That was the deal-sealer. The stranger’s name was of no concern to Bastien-- he was already supposed to know it, after all.

“Ah… If I could be so bold, might I be able to join you on your chocobo…?” Bastien’s face lit up at the suggestion of chocobo-riding, but he couldn’t help but feel embarrassed about the fact that he allowed himself to be even that transparent. After toning down his excitement a bit, he cleared his throat and started to speak. “You see, my knee… I took a tumble on some stairs the other day, and my knee’s been acting up since. I’m good for a fight, don’t fret-- I’d even be willing to show you-- but I’m afraid going long-distance might be a bit much for me… You need not worry about my friend here, though; he can run marathons even in that armor of his. Cross-country is his calling, and he’s in peak form!” Bastien gave his new friend a pat on the shoulder, the metal clanging ever so gently. Hopefully he wouldn’t mind getting stuck in the dust of a magnificent chocobo if it meant getting a real good meal later on.

With that being said, though, Bastien took the initiative in getting this party going by swiping the ad off of the board and heading over to the nearest open receptionist. She looked at him with the standard customer-service smile. “We’ll be taking this on, me and my little group here.” Bastien said, motioning back over to his two newest friends. “Get our reward ready for us already hun, we’ll be back in an hour tops.” She nodded tiredly and, after they went through the legalities necessary, shooed him off before he could say anything else stupid. With that done, Bastien returned to his entourage and waved the slip of paper at them. “Shall we get this show on the road then?”

Hade stared down at the poor man he knocked over, sighing as he moaned in pain. He bent over and lifted Valdr to his feet as best as he could, he wasn't the strongest person in the world by any means. "Listen, I'll buy you a meal as an apology. You look like you haven't eaten in days." Hade slung Valdr's arm over his shoulder and grunted, dear gods was this man heavy.

” Nasty thing that one... effective against big numbers, breaks morale, causes mass panic.” Hade nodded absently as he kicked up the notepad with his foot and caught it with his free hand.

"It would be if I could figure out the appropriate ratio of Steam to Gravity. As it is now the fog collapses into a ball with too much Gravity, while too little leaves it stagnant and motionless."

"Hahaha... That'd be... Nice", Valdr was being helped up as he was offered food. Though it seems he has run into two mages, but at the moment that wasn't even his worry. He hadn't eaten for quite some time, compounded with being tired from the road. All he needed was some food and drink and he was good to go again.

Normally what he'd do was jump from town to town and take on requests at the Adventurer's Guild for awhile, he was a drifter, but he had a bit more purpose here in Raelin. It was the home to his father, and so after getting settled, his first order of business was to track down his father's roots, and see what he can learn. He didn't know much about his father other than from hearsay, and there was no bearing on his life, so it was out of a simple desire to learn more about his own family.

"In this state I could eat a Chocobo...", he added.

"Well... since you're so hungry and you did express the desire to help me..." Nai muttered nad reached into the bag she kept on herself. It was actually a plus for the chair that she essentially didn't carry it really so it didn't weight her down. Moments later she pulled out a wooden box looking thing with a sliding cover." Here... Munch on this for the time being." She stated and handed over the box. Inside it were 3 boiled and spiced potatoes on one side and a selection of green salad on the other.

"For the spell... hmm well moving mist is hard. Controling it with gravity is even harder. Best would be air currents to move it rather than gravity. That or simply creat a moving point of gravity that moves in front of hte mist rather than the mist itself. The mist will follow it, drawn to it." Naisha proposed a solution. She didn't really know the spell all that well, but given what the man just explained that was a better alternative. Gravity had other uses bug maintaining something concentrated within an area would be hard to pull off." Well at least that's what I'd try." An idea then came to her mind, wondering what if she uses a crystal dust cloud instead. It could easily be bown into the neemy ranks or hover in place, undetected until they enter into it, and then breathe in the crystals, causing inner lacaretions, lungs problems, if it gets into the eyes... That was a good idea.

Then with some great effort, she pulled herself into standing, using her staff as pillar of support."Haaa...." She took a deep tired breath, with weak body what else can she do anyways? Frankly she'd probably stumble over if she didn't have the staff to pull all her weight onto." Float." She called softly, pointing at the chair at it raised a few feet off the ground." Mind any of you two give it a good push so it reaches the top of the stairs?"

"Oooh thank you!", the young lady graciously gave him a boxed lunch, to which he accepted with gratitude, as well as taking to it as soon as he could. The speed at which he ate it was impressive, but he seemed to enjoy it. Soon as he was done, she seemed to require assistance, she floated and it seemed she wanted some force to push her along her way.

"Ah I've got tha-t", it was an almost graceful motion as he moved to push the young mage girl as she requested, which he in fact did manage, but only to fall flat on his face as he did so. It seemed to have the intended effect however as she floated up the stairs to her desired destination.

"Don't mention it", he says from the ground, putting up a thumbs up. It appears what he just ate wasn't quite enough, but maybe it was? He managed to pick himself up from the ground after all.

"Well... I'm going to be heading over to the Adventurer's Guild now, uhhh... Do you know the way there...?", he asked the mage in black.

Vestus

It was surprising how well the woman received his story, though it was likely partially due to his demeanor and the embellishments he put on it. However, Bastien seem to take it just as well as she did, though possibly had been annoyed by his insistence on buying Corine a meal. Vestus, however, was simply glad that they had successfully formed a team for a fight that would likely yield them enough gil for a stay at the inn. ”My name is Vestus by the way, a Guardian from Songdae,” He said as Bastien left to do the paperwork ”It will be a pleasure to work with you and I’m truly sorry you had to put up with that big lug pestering you to help out in a hunt.”

Vestus sighed and looked over towards Bastien, making a mental note to trip him at some point for forcing him to run after the chocobo. ”Anyway, I can keep up fine with the chocobo, though I have only seen them on farms. It is rare to ride a chocobo into battle, at least from what i know. Especially if one is from Frinia, yes?” Though Vestus had already spent almost a year in Raelin, he had only seen one or two people riding chocobos and heard numerous stories of the famed knights of Frinia. It was hard to believe that Corine was from Frinia but without horse, though perhaps it was simply circumstance that had bound her to a chocobo.

However before she could answer, Bastien came back from the attendant counter with the papers in hand. It was at that moment that Vestus felt a slight bit of anxiety at their situation. They were to go fight a pack of wolves, a B-rank hunt, and none of them had ever fought together. It was entirely possible that both Corine or Bastien had dubious abilities in combat. Or simply would pair well together. However, he shook this feeling off and looked between his two new companions. ”We should get moving while we still have the time, we do not want to to be too dark when we come back,” He said as he stepped back and headed down the stairs of the Guild.

Aria

Approaching the front desk at last, Aria rummaged through her bag. Ayntayikk Ambassador...? They must be referring to that man, The thought crossed her mind as she lowered her hood, the smallest of frowns on her face. 'Man'...and yet... Placing her hands on the counter, she looked behind her shoulder, as if expecting him to pop out once more. As her blue eyes scanned the room, however, there was no sign of him. Had the other man not mentioned him, she would have thought him as a figment of her imagination. It wasn't as if she hadn't experienced her own share of danger--but that otherworldy feeling was...

The sound of someone clearing their throat snapped her out of her thoughts, Aria's eyes wide with surprise as she realized she had been addressed. The woman in front of her was less than amused, her thin smile less pleasant than it could have been. "Can I help you?" She asked with the air of someone who had to repeat herself.

"Y-Yes," Aria berated herself mentally as she threw on a smile. "I am Aria of Escain."

"Ah, of course. You'll be set up at the bar--Florence will be aiding your performance," The woman nodded, motioning the way. "You may begin whenever you're ready."

"I thank you, and...I apologize," Aria nodded in understanding, following the woman's directions.
The bar seemed to be active all things considered, though she would first place her belongings on a small chair off to the side. Unclasping the front of her cloak, she let it slide off her shoulders. Folding it neatly, she would place it next to her bag, taking one last look in her small handmirror. She looked a little paler than usual--the presence of that mysterious man still seemed to linger in her mind, it seemed. Furrowing her brow, she inhaled slowly, letting out a breath in a huff as she placed her mirror in her pocket. As much as she wanted to know more, she had a crowd to please. A disinterested crowd, she was sure, but a job was a job.

Stepping onto the slightly elevated stage, she bowed her head to the pianist. After getting the signal that he was ready, the woman turned to the rest of the room. As the keys of the piano started the accompaniment, it seemed to catch a little attention, and Aria put on another smile.

"Dreaming of the stars on high
That speak to me in secret sighs
Drifting out on a breeze
Only I can feel and hear...

Their travels weren't too tedious, at the very least. Zephyr was able to carry Bastien and her on her back without any issue, but there certainly was little room for them both on her saddle. Corine was considerate enough to move along slow enough for Vestus to keep up with them, but her chocobo wasn't happy with ambling along on a trot. She always loved to run, and so did her rider. There were a few times where she allowed Zephyr to pick up the speed a little, but not too much as to leave Vestus in the dust. They had to remain together, after all, and losing part of their party without actually getting to the road was going to be an issue.

Eventually, they arrived. Corine wondered how Vestus' feet were after such a long walk, but she didn't think much about it. It took little time for them to speak to their client at the Royal Garnet. They were told that the wolves attacked the main road most of the time, preventing him from returning home. Though, in her opinion, he didn't really seem in a rush to return. She wasn't about to ask why. All she was interested in was the task at hand. Bastien, Vestus, and her returned to the road, once again coming across the soldiers that roamed about it. With enough questions, they were on their way towards the small forest they were directed towards.

"I hate wolves," Corine muttered crossly under her breath. They always wandered around in packs, save for one or two that might be hunting on their lonesome. The soldiers had also told them there would be a couple of stragglers, but she didn't see any of them as of now. She glanced behind her, making sure that Vestus was keeping up. "Anyway, I think we're getting close to the den. Keep your eyes peeled, won't you?"

Raelin Fields

Off the Southern Road
@Ambra@Sen@Mag Lev

The fields of Raelin were lush, though the colour was not nearly as illustrious as Frinia's lands, it held a sombre and majestic aura that captured traveller's imaginations. It made people wonder little why this for a long time in history was the head country of a great empire. Valleys lined the horizons with patches of forestry and grazing wild animals, despite the restrained look of the land, it was very much alive, with small critters in most little corners of the area.

The small group of adventurers found themselves walking off the road towards where the wolves had supposedly made their nest. A few could be seen scurrying away in the corners of their eyes. It appears they were being stalked by their own quarry. Still, as they are, there wasn't much wolves could do against a group like this.

However they would find themselves looking at an unusual sight...

A knight, in black and darkened blue armor, the style reminded them of the nation's Dragoons, yet... The armor was not nearly as shiny as those of Raelin's Dragoons, plus he was holding a giant sword, not customary for that military division. They were cautious, yet... His name preceded him. It was the Dark Dragoon. What was he doing all the way out here?

"Hm?", it seems he's noticed the party.

"Ah... Right, I suppose you all are here for the wolves... Worry not, my target lays beyond. The glory and reward for that kill is yours", he begins. He walks up to the party, and continues, his voice was unexpectedly friendly, for someone who looked so... Dark.

"Though this is good timing, for me I suppose. The wolf has basically laid it's home in front of my quarry... Or rather it has taken to hiding there. How's this sound... I will assist you until you meet the great wolf you are here for, and from there I will take off for my own business", the idea seemed to be to stay together until they encountered the large wolf... It seemed reasonable, but just what business did this knight of dark justice have all the way out here?

The Royal Garnet

The Bar
@Hero

Her performance was captivating, everyone in the room had essentially fallen to the whims of her voice. The music even began to be led by it. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and even the workers needed to break out of a trance in order to deliver food to the patrons. It wasn't uncommon for performers to come here, most are offered the chance to perform for the guests, usually with compensation, or sometimes they are trying to get their name out. Aria's performance here was sure to get someone's attention... Or rather it did.

After her performance, she found herself being approached by a man backstage. The military badges, suit, and open carry of some very expensive weapons including an ornate revolver, he was a man of great age yet that age didn't seem to reflect in the strength of his stride. A military man, but moreover... Too ornate to still be an active general. A senator then...?

"A fine performance, Aria of Escain I am told. My name is Gasraux Holbrand, Senator Gasraux Holbrand", he introduced himself, the Senator title seemed to be a little stressed.

"In about three days from now, there will be a great Ball at the palace, I am here to extend an invitation to you, perhaps you would like to perform? Or mingle with the fine guests. Regardless, I feel this would be an excellent opportunity for you. Perhaps forge some connections hm? Well... I am afraid I cannot talk much more, though if you have questions... Here is the invitation, as well as a means to contact my office", he reached into his breast pocket and pulled out a gold trimmed sheet of extraordinarily fine paper, likely the invitation, and slipped with it was a business card of sorts. It seems Escain business practices were spreading, that of course using a business card and such.

With this, he bowed out, and headed off.

Bastien Roussaeu
Valennia Outskirts, Raelin - Southern Fields

Riding a chocobo… Was an experience. Not saying Bastien didn’t like it or anything-- it was pretty cool all things considered-- but somehow it made him very uncomfortably motion sick. He didn’t mention this, of course, even when he almost barfed right onto Corine’s back, but it was something worth noting. Something about the big bird’s stride just hit him the wrong way. It could’ve been worse though. He could’ve been Vestus. After having had to march over to the Royal Garnet to talk to their client, and then double back out the right gate to get going the right way, and then ambling down this road for a while, the group only now found themselves nearing their destination. Must’ve been fun, trying to keep up with a chocobo.

Some kind soldiers told them that the wolves were holding out in a forest to the side of the road, so they strayed from the beaten path and started their way towards said woods in hopes that they’d find their big boss there. The clues they’ve been given seem to have been true, based on the figures hiding in the distance. Bastien couldn’t help but smile at the audacity of these animals to be stalking the very hunters out to get them. He was eager to show them what’s up, but the first obstacle that got in the way of that, however, turned out to be another person. Weirdly, a very… Noticeably armed figure. A man wearing dark Dragoon armor and hoisting a big ol’ sword started towards them, intercepting their path. Zephyr slowed to a stop, and a few moments later Vestus caught up. Curious to hear what this guy was gonna say to them, Bastien hopped off of their chocobo ride, giving her a woozy pat on the side feathers as thanks. Of course, who else could it be but the Dark Dragoon himself? Bastien let out a chuckle at the sight. The mighty Dark Dragoon, out here in some fields, by some wolf den?

The Dragoon dude went on to explain that he’s not here for the same mark as them, and instead was interested in… something else, apparently. Something that’s taken home in the same place as the wolves. Coincidence? Perhaps. Either way, he offered to join their party for a bit until they reached his own query, and honestly Bastien couldn’t be happier to let this guy join up with them. Bastien had been a little skeptical of their fighting ability as a group, seeing as they had only just met and all, but this guy definitely knew his way around with that sword of his.

“But of course! We would be foolish to not let someone of your skill join us, even if our goals may be different in the end.” Bastien answered for the group before anyone could raise an objection to the Dark Dragoon’s offer. There was no way he was letting one of his companions be a wet blanket on this chance. To keep the ball rolling, Bastien nudged Vestus in the shoulder and continued talking. The only reason he didn’t do it to Corine was because she would probably bite his hand off if she wasn’t up a chocobo on him. “Quick introductions: this armored fellow here is my main man, Vestus. Very trustworthy, very strong. The chocobo chick here is my latest friend and ally, Corine of Frinnia. Less trustworthy but still very strong. I, of course, am Bastien. The best of the rest.”

Bastien extended a hand out to the stranger. “And you-- may I ask a name of you? Or would you prefer us just refer to you as the Dark Dragoon?”

"Thank you." Naisha replied as she was given more then enough momentum for her float spell to get her all the way up the stairs. It looked really weird form the side to just float and glide across the stairs like that, but once she was up, she moved to her chair and sat down on it, waiting a little before slowly lowering hte magical power on the float till she softly touched the ground and started moving her way into the great library. All things considered, she just saved about half an hour of climbing stairs on her own so that was a great plus.

There was another little adventuer with getting open the door to enter said library, but she was used to it by now so she promtly found herself inside the great building of knowledge, probably doctored historical books, propaganda books and excess complexes for grandeur from many of the author. All in all, the crowd that Naisha loved to read for a reason or another. If nothing else it was hilarious to see the lenghts people go to defend a theory that had no way of passing simple tests, or to defend ideas that would normally not convince any thinking man. Luckily for those people, the majority of hte civilian population were about at dumb as sheep, not caring about the truth in many cases. Promise them food on the table, work on the fields and the occasional lessened tax for a year and they were solf for your cause.

Finally she was ready, rolling hte wheels she move at the counter where she could ask for some directions in this place." Hello.. yes, me.." She looked at the clerk with rather unemotional stare and her voice was mostly indifferent." I would like to be pointe at where I can get the tomes of literature on the subject of 'The Boundless Mana Theory'. All of them and if possible someone to aid me recover the ones placed at high rows on the shelves for obvious reasons."

While the crippled mage left the two of them to venture into the Library, Hade was left with the starving man as he asked where the Adventurer's Guild was. "I'm afraid not. Sorry about that. I'm sure you'll find the way though, you seem like a resourceful fellow. And with that said Hade turned to follow Naisha into the library as he searched for his own answers.

As everyone parted ways Hade continued his journey into the library, checking out several books on True Sorcery and Multidimensional Theory. His searches eventually led him to a peculiar book without any author, after asking a receptionist about it he was told an old man with dirty mage robes had left the book there. He appeared to be from the Spectrum Mages order, so Hade borrowed the book for a while and ventured off to find said Spectrum Mages, travelling to the Fang District.

Raelin Fields

Off the Southern Road
@Ambra@Sen@Mag Lev

"'Dark Dragoon' would be rather unwieldy to call out... I suppose for now, call me 'Sifrit'. I see you are wise to accept my proposition, though whether you accepted or not, we would still be headed generally the same way anyway", he answered. Though he refused the handshake, it seems he wants to keep his distance, even though they'll be cooperating. It was understandable... He had quite the reputation, despite his righteous deeds, he was always described as intimidating, even to those he was rescuing.

"Now then, I will lead the way if you don't mind. I know this area in and out, and the forest patch ahead can get confusing, which is why it is often a den for wild animals", he explained, after a few moments of confirming everyone's status, he led the way into the forest.

The area was... Untouched by man, there were no defined paths, terrain can get a bit uneven, fallen trees and old hollow legs barred their way often, and despite the peaceful disposition of the forest, as they got deeper, the atmosphere tensed. Everyone here was a seasoned fighter in one way or another, and their instincts were on full alert. Wolves. Quite a few of them were somewhere in the shadows out of their sight. Pretty soon, Sifrit raised his hand, and everyone stopped,

"Your quarry is up ahead. Just over that ledge, and then a drop down into the den. If you enter from here you can get the jump on the large wolf, if you kill it quickly, then it's pack will scatter. You should be able to save yourself a lot of trouble this way. As for me, this is where we part ways", and with that, he nodded, before heading wide and around the route he pointed out for them. Now would be a good time to make preparations for the drop...

Valdr

Street Towards Adventurer's Guild

As Valdr continued along based on the directions of passersby, he as usual went around doing small chores at the same time. As altruistic as he was, there were still some things he wouldn't do, like an old man asked him to find a magical tome that had been lost for decades, and it required something about a dungeon? It seemed a little too late game for him so he had to skip it for now, but he'll definitely come back if he gets an airship.

That aside, the Adventurer's Guild was now in sight, and as he kept going, he didn't notice the presence of a particular person, which caused him to bump into him.

"Aah, ah sorry", he made eye contact with the man... Empty. His black and fancy garb made him look like he belonged elsewhere, likely further up in the Fang District, but their gaze met and sustained for longer than it would for two people to say sorry for bumping into each other. Those empty eyes had a very slight glint in them as he saw... Familiarity? But he's never met this man before. Regardless, he ended up turning away, silently, and continuing along his way. As a cart passed by obscuring him from vision, despite the road being rather clear at this time of day... The man was gone, not a trace. Strange...

Well, regardless, it was time to see what the Adventurer's Guild here had in store, and what kind of menu they had.

Naisha

Location: The Library of Arius
@Sho Minazuki

Things played out fine enough for Naisha once she was in the Library. At least here people respected knowledge so she was given a person to bring her the first tomes she required. He brought a few big tomes and left as she got into research this grand subject for the moment. The problem with the growing mana concentration had reached her ears too. If things continued like this... well let's say it was a problem. Though to be fair she focused more on application of the event rather than solution. There were others focusing on that.

Her studies progressed rather slowly across the pages and scrolls, but progressed non the less. Her main point of interest in the end turned to be these Sage ruins. Their very presence cause many question and the fact that they appeared to be all across the world. Were they connected? Possible theories suggested so and then there was the materials they were made off. Possible space materials, that caused her to raise an eyebrow and think.

As she pulled more and more books and scrolls to continue her studies, she was in the end left with a map. A map of the Sage ruins in the direct vicinity of the city. The newest ones were out of the question, probably under heavy security. She was more or less nobody to those men so chances to get inside was slim, but the other lesser ruins also picked her curiosity. Maybe if she gets to see the event happen there? Though there was also the fact she wished to see the new Ruins for herself even be it at a distance. Maybe she'd find a way inside, maybe not. Her goal was set for the moment, pulling the map and some of the books, she started to pull together some notes an arrange them.

Valennia

Fang District
@floodtalon

The Fang District was as fancy as many would expect from the area closest to the palace. There were a lot of soldiers walking around too, and some workers too. It seems something was going to happen at the palace soon, but likely in a day or two from the looks of things. It wasn't an event of high tension by the looks of things, but that aside, soon Hade had found himself looking at the steps of the Rainbow Cathedral.

Ironic to him that mages would choose to call their main office a cathedral of all things, but considering the Black and White leaders who founded it way before the establishment of Valennia had origins with gods, it may not be too much of a surprise.

Ultimately this place was an open office, mages young and old were walking in and out all the time and today was no different, speaking of basic studies to old and new theories. To be noted, there was an academy just down the road dedicated to magic for young students too, but that was of no interest to Hade.

He could make his inquiry at the reception in front, likely to be directed down one of the hallways towards the departments related to his inquiry, or he can find his own way around. If he recalled... The old man that was described had robes from this institution, but now that he's here... Which department...? Regardless he will need to figure out what to do next. Maybe the book has more details...? Who knows.

Library of Arius

@rivaan

There seemed to be a few ruins in all of Raelin at the moment that have already been excavated. The newest one is out in the fields somewhere to the west, the northwestern forest has one, about half a day's walk, and the two in the south, along the coast and then near Drake Mountain were respectively half a day's walk and a full day's trip. On the other hand the new ruin seemed to be just a little less than half a day's walk. Surprisingly close to Valennia is it not...? Regardless, she'll have to consider what to do next. Perhaps consider some other course of action? Or go explore these ruins?

luca

“BYEEE!!” within the fields all that could be heard was shouts of farewells and perhaps some tears as a certain band of mercenaries say farewell to their little mascot that flew off to start her own adventure. “Farewell everyone i’ll miss you all” The young looking girl turned around to bid final farewells and finish off with a trademark wink.
Luca had practically grown up a mercenary and now wanted to experience the world for herself in another way.
“A new adventure awaits✩”

Valennia

Adventurer’s guild

With a short hop, skip and flight Luca had landed within Valennia, her first destination in her grand adventure would of course start in an adventurer’s guild. Luca hadn’t been in one for a while but what could go wrong?
Parking Hestia near the guild the girly figure happily waltzed into the guild whistling all the way up to the reception ignoring any looks directed at her. “Hihi~ I haven’t been to a guild in sooo long could you please give me a quick recap of how it works?” With her second wink of the day Luca sweetly asked the receptionist.
Though before Luca could receive a reply a hand suddenly found itself on Luca’s shoulder.
“What do we have here, little girly are you perhaps lost? This place isn’t for kids to play” A hulking brute spoke in a condescending manner, though Luca had already classified him as generic thug it seems the brute had a name from the receptionist telling him off.

“Sir could you please unhand me, we wouldn’t want any unpleasantries” With a wide adoring smile the ‘little girly’ started to pull out an arrow.
“Greg you idiot look at her coat” It seems someone noticed something was off and brought it to the brutes attention.
“W-wait...th-that emblem… that's, I’m sorry girly”
Would you look at that it seems he wasn’t so stupid after all as he quickly let go rather quickly.

“That's alright baldy everyone makes mistakes~” luca twirled around and struck a pose with the peace sign, “Hello everyone I’m Luca and starting today I’m exploring the world, Lets all get along✩”

Aria

As the blonde watched the man take his leave, she held the invitation with both hands, lightly resting the top of the envelope against her chin. A Senator, huh? She almost wished she would have asked him about the Ambassador, but there was no guarantee he would have any idea who he was. Clucking her tongue in mild disappointment, for the moment she decided that now was a good time to go back to exploring the city. She no longer had a time limit, so maybe now she would be able to see the sights. The thought made her giddy, though she kept her excitement under wraps as she would take her bag and go to the front desk.

"Ready for your room for the night?" The woman asked.

"Not yet, I was wondering if I could leave my belongings here, I'd like to see the city first," Aria said.

"Of course."

Once she handed over her bag, Aria spun around, practically skipping towards the exit. The newfound freedom as the air of the day hit her face was welcoming, her eyes eagerly looking around for the next place to go. For the moment, she would pick a random direction, and begin to walk.

Naisha

Location: The Library of Arius
@Sho Minazuki

The research on the subject turned out a really decent reward for the effort put into it. She had sribbled down notes on the things she wanted to keep tabs on and generally redraw some maps and sketches on those notes so she had most of the technical data down for later exploration and use without having to revisit the library just for it. After all the map turned out most important. She had scribbled down the positions for the ruins on a newer map of her own so she was going to have to visit those and soon at that. She planned for the day to maybe pay a distant visit to the newly discovered ruin. She would probaby have time... actually she wouldn't. Naisha realized her movement while not ultra slow once Floating, it wasn't the fastest either. It would be good if she had a horse, but she didn't. So the ruin visits were left for tomorrow.

"Thank you and have a good day." She said to the staff of the library that helped her when she arrived and headed for the exit." Float." She quietly said, she and the chair floating up as she pushed herself forward with her staff, the momentum carriing her over down the stairs.

"Might as well visit the Adventurers guild and see if there's any work I can do." She said to herself, looking at the crowds, but the ndecided against that and finally set her mind on visiting the marketplace. Get some food stuffs to cook later or just browse.

Adventurer's Guild

@itano123

Valdr arrived to the Adventurer's Guild finally, his first order of business was food as he waltzed right through to the cafeteria, passing by a girl and a bunch of larger men. It seems the Hunt system was being explained to her. As Valdr sat down and ordered food that he barely had money to pay for...

Meanwhile at the counter.

The receptionist was explaining the system to the young girl, or so she seems to be... The receptionist was a girl and for some reason the person she was explaining all this to really ticked her off. She didn't know why.

"... And so basically, if you want to do B or higher ranked jobs and hunts, you require the correct license. With or without license, you can take on lower ranked jobs, but you must still sign your name and identification... But I'm sure one of the Warsong Birds should... Know all of this... Right? Well in any case, would you like to take a job now?", she asked.

The Fang District

@Hero

Immediate to the young songstress was the Fang District, the only thing second to the palace itself, which was the city's crown jewel. It was a strange feeling these districts, at the same time as seemingly incredibly safe, soldiers patrolled and roamed even into or around the smaller and tighter walkways, clean, and kept prim and proper, it always was shadowed by the palace, almost directly sometimes. This design choice has been around for centuries, perhaps it was a symbol of rule? The safest spot was always right next to royalty, yet at the same time, it's shadow loomed over like a reminder of the price of treason. Regardless, the city was wonderful, families roamed happy, shops sold fresh food and handicrafts, and assortment of useful trinkets, a few playing children passed by Aria as she kept along her way.

She had an abundance of choices of things she could do. She could go shopping for new clothes, eat at one of the restaurants here, there was a theatre too that was having a play of Raelin's history, along with many other lovely shops. The Hall of the Spectrum Mages was also around here too, along with their academy just a block away from it. As far as sightseeing goes, this was the closest and best place, besides the flyer that was advertising a tour to Drake Mountain.

She could go down to one of the lower districts too, but for today the streets seemed to be quite peaceful. But how to put it, the Senator she met earlier was... The meeting made her feeling something was stewing. Maybe the ball was a show of strength in the face of having a rebellion on their hands? Oh speaking of which, his office was in this district too. Well, she had an abundance of options.

Marketplace

@rivaan

The marketplace in the wings district were always the most varied. If you knew which shops to go to, you could end up running into the rarest ingredients that don't even find their way to the Fang District. At this time, it was bustling, it was just past lunch time, meaning everyone was either leaving from a meal, or had finished a meal and came out to do their day to day. It was hard for a girl in a wheelchair to get through such a place but keeping it slow allowed her to do so. The noise, the smells, the sights, all were equally overwhelming as they were invigorating, just by the smell she can tell what the area she was in mainly sold, or keeping and ear out she can hear one of the yellers for a store, and just the amount of people here who seemed quite happy to be here was heartening. Raelin's foods were always quite hardy, vegetables and meats were their speciality, with ample room in their fields to graze cattle and raise crops, you can be assured their meats were always fresh.

At this time things would be selling quite quickly, so if there was anything specific, she would have to decide quickly.

Aria

It was almost as if there was too much to do.

For the first time in a while, Aria didn't know where to go. To say the district was big was an understatement, and there were still parts she could still go to. Shopping was enticing, but she had no one to carry her bags, and anytime she would shop she always ended up with a mountain of whatever she could get her hands on. Did she really want to have to carry so much back to the Royal Garnet? The 'downside' of wealth, she supposed, though as her eyes lingered on a spectacular pair of heels at the window, she was definitely tempted, going so far as to stop in her tracks. They sparkled in the light, multiple rhinestones decorating them as she stared.

Well...there was no harm in just taking a look around, right? Ah, no, no, she needed to control her spending. She shook her head as she forced herself to take a few steps back, though as she did, she crossed her arms, her own bracelets softly clinking against one another. Right, the other reason for her visit was to see if she could learn more about the country's own gods. She had successfully learned to summon Carbuncle after a visit to Songdae, and she very much wanted to see if she could repeat the accomplishment here in Raelin with Sylph or any other Raelin gods.

Right, in that case, she made up her mind, making her way to the Hall of the Spectrum Mages. Where there was magic, summoning was not far behind.
