Biography: Adalene's an navy brat, her father being a marine, and her mom a French immigrant. She moved around a lot as a child, never staying in the same city for more than a few years, making it so her family was the only constant in her life. Her dad also had high expectations for her behavior, wanting her to always show respect for her elders, dress properly, and speak tactfully.
It was also important to her parents that she learn how to properly defend herself, and made sure to keep her enrolled in martial arts programs wherever they moved. She proved herself to be fairly adept at this, and by the time she graduated had a black belt in Krav Maga, and received the same in Jiu-Jitsu shortly after turning twenty. This worked out to be a great way not only to give Adalene tools to defend herself, but also helped instill discipline into her.
As a child, Adalene also found enjoyment in the Theatrical Arts, everything from acting to dance. She wasn't a prodigy by any means, but she worked hard, and was good enough to get her lead roles in many school productions. Her abilities and skills grew, committing to this not only as the recreation it started out as, but as something she wanted to become truly great at. She set goals for herself, and made sure to always push herself to become better and better, applying a lot of the soft skills she'd gained from martial arts to advance.
Her family had settled when she turned 15, letting her finish off most of her high school experience in one place. Adalene had made up her mind to try to pursue acting as a career around this time, which left her parents feeling a bit uneasy. Her father in particular, wasn't too pleased when he heard her college plans, running off to New York to study Acting and taking what he saw, rightfully, as a major risk. This was a big point of contention between her father and herself throughout most of her junior year, but in the end, they reached a deal, deciding that if she could do well in school, and get some kind of way into the industry by the summer of her second year, they'd keep helping her pay for her education.
Adalene managed this, making sure to tightly integrate herself into her college's community, not only with the students, but more importantly, with the teachers. Through the right kind of networking, she got a summer job as an extra on an off-broadway show, granting her the kind of in she needed to make sure she could keep going to school. She worked and did well over the summer, but towards the end, she grew very sick, for the first time in her life. She ended up being hospitalized. Lucky for her, her father was more worried than anything, and hadn't constituted what had happened as her breaking their arrangement.

Height: 5’8 Weight: 130 lb Body Type: Athletic Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Brown Skin Tone: White Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Pierced ears, Personal Style: Lana’s second choice of occupation would have been fashion since she has a great taste for clothing and style. From cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, to leather jackets and combat boots, it really only depends on what the day calls for. Generally, if her day isn’t full of work or reasons for combat, she’ll go out wearing nicer clothing with high quality fabrics and matching colors. If her day calls for use of combat or flexibility, she’ll wear stretchable pants, boots, a simple t-shirt, and a leather jacket. All, of which, would comfortably conceal all the weapons that she stows. Nonetheless, Lana will not let herself go out looking ‘lazy’ or unattractive.

History
Biography:
Lana Allaire came to be at a later time in this woman's life, taking on an alias that was chosen by her father to cover up an identity that had too many dark secrets associated with it. Being haunted by a past of death will live on in Lana forever, but she admires her freedom to create a future of her own. Dating back to a time where she felt she was destined to live luxuriously and rich for the rest of her life, Lana was known as Alexandra Petrov, daughter to Vladimir Petrov, a man revered for his wealth and work. Vladimir was the director of an anti-terrorism organization full of elite and skilled agents that successfully countered and intercepted several attempts. With recruitments of diverse, tech-savvy agents and battle-ready fighters, his organization was running smoothly and safely -- all trusted and funded by the government. The organization was known as LANA - Leading Anti-terrorism National Association.
Lana and her father shared a special bond since she was the light that fought his darkness, the treasure that he fought to hide, and the one civilian that reminded him of the lives he was saving. Lana's mother was an artist, capable of drawing detailed portraits and beautiful landscapes, but also capable of raising several kids to teach them manners, respect, and dignity. While Lana was never the golden child, or the spoiled child, she fell in the middle and acted more like the black sheep. She didn't delve in the luxuries, but rather, spent time in the mud and in the trees. Strict as her mother was, her privilege to be adventurous was granted and protected by her father. And so she spent her days in the courtyards of the mansion, or in the fields that lay behind and beside it, exercising her body and engraving the beautiful horizons into her memory.
As she grew older, her childish innocence began to fade and her free-spirit began to subside. In her early teens, Lana was educated on her father's work and it was coming a time in which Lana was to begin thinking of her future. At this time, she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps, despite how big they may be, and become worthy of his position and his work. With an immense goal in hand, Lana would sneak into his study and find whatever she could to learn more of his work. Coming across confidential folders that were stashed away was one thing, but it was his journal that would reveal information that wasn't meant for her eyes.
Several entries related to self-hatred due to incompetence and failure. Although it was hard for Lana to comprehend, she began to piece everything together to understand that the organization was failing, but much worse, the safety of the individuals who ran it were in peril -- including their families. It all dated back to a mission in which he blamed himself for the mistakes that were ordered. There were morbid lines such as,'I will shoot my family myself to save them from the torturing they would have to endure' that caused her to become paranoid. Lana stopped and left the room seeming untouched, changing her outlook and getting closer to her father to remind him of the light that was still in his possession.
Days went on normally, but no necessary precautions were made from the given threats that Lana read about, creating a sense of paranoia for her. As expected, it wasn't long before the first attack came, though it was unsuccessful, it proved that their family was in as much danger as the journal entries mentioned. This put the family on the move, and her father in great stress. It happened quickly -- the elimination of several agents and the end of the organization, all of the guards that were assigned to protect the family were being wiped out like wasps. Although none of it was made public to save from a fearful community, Lana's family knew and they were now on the run from unknown terrorists and hitmen that were all fueled with anger and revenge. Being chased around Russia contrasted the luxurious lifestyle that was left behind, as well as the motels and dingy apartments that they had to stay in to remain safe. As the attackers figured out their patterns, they closed in on the family at a rundown motel located in a small town, far from the city. The motel lit up with tons of military-grade lights that were all surrounded by a large group of incognito men, armed with rifles and guns.
The night was difficult to remember, but the more memorable bits were the feeling Lana had when she thought back to the journal entry and being forced on her knees outside the motel, her family in a line. She was fearful that the end of her life would be committed by her father in that very moment. Instead, he willingly stepped forward and gave himself up, only to end in a destructive suicide. He ignited a bomb taped against his chest to eradicate the group of men and their equipment. The explosion was huge and meant for a diversion. The blast knocked everyone off their feet and left a painful ringing in everyone's ears, but the following gunshots still boomed through the air. The dust from the gravel created a thick cloud that was nearly impossible to see through, but Lana made it out to find a black SUV surrounded by soldiers that were too late to save the rest of her family. As she was ordered into the SUV, they drove off in a hurry, not waiting for any other survivors of the explosion. Within the SUV, an older man that worked with her father handed her an envelope containing a passport, a birth certificate, a check, and a letter. That is when Lana fled to the airport and truly became Lana Hope Allaire. The identity was given by her father and Lana was immediately put on a flight to the U.S. in which she would live in an orphanage until her family would reunite.
The orphanage was only somewhat aware of her circumstances, and they were told to relay any messages that Lana would receive from the rest of her family. Much to Lana's misfortune, she received no messages and she was left without hope of a family. Later to find out, Lana's arrival was expected to be with her other siblings, and not just herself. This spoke to Lana and made her realize that she may have been the only one that got out of that predicament. Filled with anger and despair for many years, Lana developed her signature personality and didn't let anybody come close to her. Lana began MMA classes and Muay Thai for anger management, but she also found appreciation in the self-defense aspects of it all. As time went on Lana would reflect on her past and she eventually decided on her career path.
Joining the FBI was easy for Lana, due to her determination and history. Lana was full of drive, but also still full of memories of her childhood that she treasures everyday. Finding success with her designated path, she made a name for herself in her division and she was honored for her hard work and dedication to the FBI. Lana cashed the check that her father gave her and she had a good sum of money to live her life peacefully without a job, but she still maintained that goal from her childhood to follow in her father's footsteps to fight crime and terrorism. Lana reached a comfortable point in her life before becoming extremely ill. It took time to recover, but Lana's willpower was not shaken, nor her determination. Once she felt 100% again, she went out into the field as if nothing happened, despite the peculiar events that seemed to come up suddenly. Confused by this, she has superstitions that this was a sign to push further in her life and properly advance to get to a position like her father.
Discovery Of Your Power: Lana discovered her power in a more public setting. During an op when she was running through a heavy rainstorm, she instinctively lifted her hands above her head to block the rain, but as soon as she stopped for cover, she realized that the water had collected above her hands and accumulated a rather large ball. Shocked by the occurrence, it also turned the many heads of her allies and this caused many different speculations that Lana was some sort of magician. Lana ended up dropping the ball of water, but the questions were endless and Lana had no explanation.
Ability & Powers: Water Manipulation - Lana has the ability to manipulate existing water or the water that is in the air.
Ability & Powers Weaknesses: Lana is susceptible to electricity manipulation, fire manipulation, and intense heat.

History
Biography: Claire was born in France. Her mother met her father who was on a holiday there, they fell in love briefly, married and moved to the States. In the end that proved to be a bad choice as they broke up and divorced soon after. She lived with her mother in France for a few years before her mother remarried. Her stepfather already had 2 children so it was decided she'd move in with her own father instead.
Over at the States, she had a fine life growing up. She went and finished school, highschool and eventually college. It didn't go without a few hitches here and there though. Her father was fired from his work around the time she entered college and her mother mostly refused to help, only sending very little cash if at all. With few options left, Claire took to working at a Strip Club. She'd work as a waitress, but seeing how her father was unable to find work, her bills for college and etc piling up, she decided to begin working on the poles instead as it paid better.
It wasn't the best living, but she managed to finish her education, her father eventually found work and could take care of his own bills. She moved away from him and with her boyfriend whom she married. Turned out as a bad decision since he once came home drugged to high hell, punched her and then confessed he cheated on her. Needless to say she didn't leave it at that. Before the night was even over, she filed for divorce, but not before alerting the police to the punch he gave her that made her left eye swollen. From there things went easy. She received their home as compensation, place which she later sold and bought a new one at a better location as she decided to go to the police academy and become a cop. She continued with her work as stripper at night and attended the academy during the day. It was during that time she started to get into writing and in that year she wrote her first book. It wasn't a bestseller, but it did okey enough, so soon after she stopped working at the club. Eventually she finished the academy and became a policewoman.
Not the greatest career path according to some, but she liked it well enough. She got to subdue people now and then. Heck to her best amazement and joy she even got to arrest her ex who got caught with a kilo of weed. That said she may or may not have had something to do with it as she kept tabs on him with the help of some friends who informed her of a good chance and then she informed the antidrug force.
Content with her life she continued on for years, enjoying it. Until six months ago when she fell ill suddenly while she was behind the wheel of all things. Luckily no one was injured and no one could find a 'proper' cause for it, no matter how much internal affairs tried to swing it at it being her responsibility.
Discovery Of Your Power: Claire discovered her power one night at a nightclub where she had gone to have a good time. It all started great, the music, the flashing lights a nice gentleman to flirt with her with obvious plans for later. Then it was an insane spiral downwards. First while dancing with him, she could swear that she was hearing some kinds of whispers. Then everything turned into damned buzzing of voices, flashes of thoughts and flood of emotions on the dancefloor. It was frankly overwhelming her senses since hte dance floor was packed full. The man noticed it and helped her get outside to get a breath of freshe air. Outside the overwhemling flood of sensations, voices and emotions stopped only to be replaced with only one. As the man held her by the shoulder to act as her support, she looked at him. He misunderstood or rather understood what she wanted so he kissed her and then recieved a full strength knee in the groin. His mind was flooded with joy about the fact how easy hooking up with her was to the point he didn't have to slip anything into her drink. She reached into his pocket and pulled a lil bag with 3 pills." NYPD, I wonder what's this for. Come on, let's go." Needless to say that little experience rendered her with killer headaches for days while she struggled to get used to separate said and unsaid things.
Ability & Powers:Telepathy
Ability & Powers Weaknesses:May get overwhelmed when in large crowds, and has a limited range to work or have hand contact with a person to read their mind.

Discovery Of Your Power: Fire consumes, and unfortunately for Adalene, it does so very well. One weekend, she volunteered to cat-sit for her friend. Nothing major, just pop in every night to feed the creature and make sure it was doing alright. One night, after keying in, Adalene couldn't immediately find the cat, and set off to look for it in the apartment. While searching, she was startled by a loud banging in the kitchen, unknowingly caused by the cat knocking over some pots and pans. Not knowing what was happening, Adalene snapped into action, ready for anybody that could be in the apartment with her, and soon found her hands catching fire, and spreading up her clothes and body. She flew into a panic, and fell to the ground, having no idea what was happening. The fire spread from her body, to the rest of the room, and soon enough, the entire place was ablaze. She noticed, however, that as on fire as she was, she wasn't in any pain, or even hot. She started to calm herself, realizng that her clothes weren't even on burning. The same could not be said for the building around her though, and she rose to her feet, knowing she'd have to get out or risk being crushed to death. She made it out, leaving the cat sadly behind, not knowing if she'd have time to save it. Once she calmed herself down outside, she found the flames dissipating from her skin, and ran off to call 911, notify the police, and figure out what the heck was going on. Since, she hasn't told anybody what's happened to her.

Biography: Cynthia’s conception had been planned by two parents who were finally willing to settle down. After careful deliberation, Cheyenne and Dallas Markov agreed to set aside their other pursuits and bring a child into the world, one who could carry on where they left off. And so, nine months and twelve painful hours of labor later, baby Cynthia was born. She came into the world kicking and fussing, healthy and cute as a button, despite her wrinkled flesh and lidded eyes. It was then, in a haze of love and relief, that the two newborn parents knew they had created something great.
And as Cynthia grew older, they molded her into a youngster of their liking. Well disciplined, and smarter by the day. Her father enrolled her in children's boxing lessons, and her mother urged her to skip the sandbox and take up other exciting prospects, such as learning to read books above her grade level. She took to it well, recognizing even at that age that they had a vision for her, and fulfilling it made them proud. She loved that- their devotion to teaching her, and their beaming smiles when she learned from her mistakes.
When the crushing waves of puberty settled, they urged her to become more independent. They pushed her towards her first job -waiting and cleaning tables at a local restaurant- in an attempt to teach her that working hard was a good attribute. They also began to discuss her future with her, asking her what she planned to pursue. It didn't take much prodding, though, because Cynthia already had an idea of what she wanted to study.
Criminal law. Both of her parents were lawyers, one fixated on divorce, the other on real estate, but Cynthia had bigger goals. She wanted to defend the victims of crime, and be a hero in her own right. So, from then on, she chased after her dreams. The only things that weren't put on the backburner during her studies were boxing lessons, and volleyball. She was overjoyed -but unsurprised, after all, recommendation letters from two former alumnis were pretty convincing- when she was accepted into Harvard Law, and moved onto campus directly after high school.
And there she stayed, majoring in Criminal Law, until she graduated and passed her bar exam. Soon after, she moved to Seattle, Washington. The rainy weather suited her, and the crime rate was just what a criminal lawyer needed. One day, while working on a case, she was struck with a sudden migraine. It sent her sprawling to the floor in the middle of a meeting with the prosecution. She was sent to the hospital in the back of an ambulance, where the symptoms worsened. She had to drop the case, and stay at home on sick-leave. That's when it all began.
Discovery Of Your Power: She was put on sick-leave for two weeks. They were afraid that if she was too active, she would suffer another migraine. So, she sat, on her couch, and on her bed...watching television. Action movies, mostly. It wasn't until she was back on her feet that she noticed the change. She went back to boxing lessons almost immediately, but even her mentor noticed her obvious improvement. She was using moves that she had never been taught, moves that she had seen only once before, on the screen. It was when she scorpion kicked her opponent -a highly complex move from The Matrix- in the face that she panicked. She apologized to the broken-nosed young man, offered him compensation for the injury, and dropped out of classes.
She ran experiments, trying to prove her sanity to herself. She purchased a violin, an instrument she had never before used, and after watching a single video of the string instrument being played on YouTube, she was able to play a sorrowful melody as if she had been at it her entire life. It was...amazing, and horrifying. She had the potential to do great things, yes, but it also came with the ability to maim, if she so chose. So, she restricted herself. Limiting her time watching television, or other performances, and kept the incident under wraps.
Ability & Powers: Adoptive Muscle Memory- The ability to perform any stunt/task she sees in action.
Ability & Powers Weaknesses: She cannot mimic abilities that she hasn't seen in real life/on television. If she were to look at a picture of someone shooting a gun with perfect precision, she would be unable to shoot a gun with perfect precision. She is also unable to master the powers of others, such as Riley’s force field manipulation.
No one of importance, the words rang true in her mind. They were silver bullets, splitting her outer defenses and plummeting through her ribcage into her bleeding heart. She was taken aback by the young prince, completely stunned by him. She nearly collapsed in a heap, her wolf's sheer will being her only anchor. She could handle the trifling barbs, they were merely additional pinpricks to a pride that had been run through continuously with poisoned blades. But to call someone who had spent their life obeying the demands of insolent nobility ’No one of importance’? It was humiliating, it reinforced every thought she had once had about nobility. They were pigs, feeding off of the torment of their subjects like it was a honeyed mash. Celine stayed cemented to the floor, but every fiber of her being strained to launch towards the child-Prince and tear apart his body until it resembled Esmeralda's corpse. Surely, she thought, if she held her ground the King would do something to punish this brat. Surely, he would make a fuss and honor the life of a woman who had served him up until her mate's last breath? Her gaze shifted to him, until the red rimming her eyes cleared enough to see him completely.
Celine was fixated on the expression of her king, a man so brave and sure in his mannerisms now taut with anxiety. She dared a glance at his eyes, unsurprised to see that they were narrowed in on the shell that had once contained the soul of her compassionate companion. The old man's face had gone pale, drastically unveiling every fine line his prior bravado had managed to mask. He was petrified. Her eyes bore narrow holes into his rigid flesh, wondering what he would say, how he would assure his court. Once more, he failed her, once more, he failed his kingdom. It was unforgivable when he stormed past her, scurrying off to collect himself. She launched emerald daggers into his spine, wishing to cripple him and demolish his crown. Claws tore into Celine's sides, and it was only then that she noticed she had been shredding up her wool blanket.
She nearly stooped down to pick up the scraps that had fallen to the floor beside her, but perked up at the sound of Owain's voice. It dispersed the torrent of emotions she was feeling, leaving her vulnerable to him. She was not disappointed by his reaction, his volatile rage was an outstanding sight. The tight-lipped, brooding Prince hardly ever made his presence known -it was a feature that made him mysteriously attractive among the women of the court- but here, when it mattered most, he was the only person who dared to announce his distaste for his brother's repulsive attitude. Celine soared with immeasurable pride, her wolf stomping her feet and howling out her affirmations. A small justice had been done for Esmeralda, and in turn, a majority of the people.
Battling the urge to rush forwards and kiss the lips off of her mate, Celine smothered her small smile and watched as the two brothers clashed. She had never been taught the true ways of court, but she knew how to read the actions of people, particularly when their wolves spoke through them. Enoch, having awoken his wild, was high off of power. It was a rush Celine knew all too well, especially in his position. He had the strength of a potential alpha flooding his veins, and the moment he unlocked it's true potential a war would be waged. Perhaps not physically -depending on Owain's willpower and his ability to reel in his wolf- but backs would be stabbed and the unsteady foundations of their familial bonds would shatter. She prayed that when the time came, the unspoken majesty would put his foot down and claim his birthright. If he continued to have the appropriate opinion towards his subjects, it would benefit all in the court.
The heartthrob of all teenaged females stomped off, the air around him reeking of misused privilege. A group of guards trailed him, stepping lightly and attempting to give him a wide berth. She felt a pang of pity for these men -the ones who hadn't been chosen to serve under her father in the army- who had to fall on swords for royals who couldn't differentiate between them and a pile of cow manure. Dismissing them with a furrowed brow, she turned her attention once more to her Pri-mate. She gave him a small curtsy before attempting to speak, doing her best to keep the body beneath her out of eyesight. “Your Highness, bless you for honoring my friend's memory,” She began, doling out more respect for him than she had ever provided any other noble. Her true thanks would have to wait, but for now, she hoped these ornate words would appease him and his guests.
She met his gaze, finding sweet serenity in his eyes. She was almost certain that she could entrust him with the task of finding Esmeralda's killers. If it weren't for her bias against members of nobility, she would have been able to lean on him entirely. Alas, her tension only truly ceased once he offered her a spot on the reconnaissance team. “I'll meet with you again this evening.” She promised, knowing that her time with him was up...for now at least. She leaned forwards, bringing Esmeralda into her arms once more. She had grown almost immune to the scent of her decomposition, having toted her through the woods. The silver, however, still stung her nose with a dizzying effect. Turning and throwing back her shoulders, she marched Esmeralda out of the room with all the dignity she could muster.
Elemental Manipulations are my favorite types of powers.
