Kara wasn't sure what to make of the 'writing' she saw on Smith's back. "S-she told me that you will be changing into a much more powerful fey, even if you are half-human. B-but since fey live for a really long time, you have a long time ahead of you as a prince before you succeed your mother as monarch and become a king." There was more to it than that, of course, but she didn't want to complicate things by bringing up the reasons Leonore had abandoned her son.

"I don't want to be..a prince nor a king...She doesn't care about me, Neither do they" Smith rebuttal lifting the blanket over his head, His other hand placed on the strange markings. It seemed Smith would need some time to cool off he was still mad about her mother leaving her with his abusive father.

"But, she-she does love you. Y-you should speak with her and try to forgive her... but only after she apologizes to you directly" Kara thought about it for a moment. "And offers you something to make up for it. I know that nothing can fix what happened, but if she tries to compensate for it and is contrite about it, then you should accept her apology."

"I can speak to her...but it will be hard to forgive her, and i don't know..if their is something she can offer for me to forgive her" Smith said softly not looking at Kara. He seemed that he will need some time to forgive his mother but their could be a place for him to forgive her.

"Just try, my love. It's not for her that I'm asking you to do this, but for you. If you don't forgive her, it will bother you for the rest of your life." She took his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Plus, you might be able to get something nice from her. She is a queen, you know."

"But i want nothing form her...well nothing physical...i need something emotional form her" Smith said with some anger in his voice. Thinking about it he didn't know if he could forgive his mother after what she did to him, He closed his eyes for a moment thinking about what he would do when he recovered.

"I-I didn't mean anything like an object or money. I mean, she's one of a few people who can teach you how to use your new powers. If you cut her out of your life, there's probably no one else who can guide you in that way" Kara clarified.

Thinking for a moment before nodding his head, "Fine ummm can you help me up?" He asked her now sitting up on the bed. Holding his hands out wanting Kara to hep lift him off the bed.

Kara nodded and extended her right hand, taking Smith by his left and pulling. She wasn't very strong, so it took quite a bit of effort to pull him up. She dug her clawed toes into the floor, trying to get a grip as she pulled.

Getting onto his feet the young man was resting his chin on her scaly shoulders, "Thank you...now can you help me...to the garden?" He asked her feeling weak in the body still.

"Sure. Just lean on my shoulder." Kara wasn't sure if she'd be able to get him there, but she resolved to find the strength she needed. Hopefully, he'd be able to carry himself at least part of the way there.

Smith had his arm wrapped around Kara's shoulder, He was making sure he was keeping his balance while they walked to the garden. Once there Smith noticed a strange person was jogging towards them, It was Balru form before it seemed he off doing his own thing. "Sa'hin? what are you doing out of bed?" He asked with Smith furrowing his brow at him.

"Don't..call me that..." He said softly staring down the fae who spoke again, "I just came to check up on you, And it seems you are recovering quite well. Where are you two going if i may ask?" He asked rising his own brow.

"W-we're going to the garden. That's what Smith wanted" Kara remarked, still processing the idea that her lover was in some way a kind of royalty. "D-did you know about that other name, Smith?"

"No I do not...and my name is Smith" The half get retorted looking anger at Balur. "I did not mean to offend you my prince,I wish to accompany you to the garden" He said bowing his head respectfully to Smith.

"Alright, just-just follow us to the garden" Kara said, resigned to the fact that her lover would be treated as a prince against his will. "And you are? Did we meet? Sorry if I forgot. So much has been happening lately. It's a lot to take in at once" she told Balur.

"My name Balru I am the high mage of the kingdom" The fae male said walking beside them. Smith meanwhile was holding onto Kara and not looking at the other fae male.

"Well, Balru, is there anything you can tell us? Smith is a magic user too. Surely, you can advise us with what's going on with his body. This has been a very trying time for us, you see." Kara didn't want to think of Smith as some sort of human butterfly. Or a half-human, half-nymph butterfly, as it may have been.

Yssil took some light practice swings first, to get used to the movements of the greatsword. It was quite different compared to a short sword or a dagger, even though it had some similarities. Definitely more useful for slicing than stabbing…Could a parry be possible? The sword itself was likely too large to enable that, but maybe a block with the flat side could be feasible. Peripherally, Yssil noted that he was intensely focused – practice often helped him achieve such a state, but not always. After some light swings, he tried putting more force into it. He was not particularly graceful doing that, he knew, but he thought he could get used to the balance. Careful to avoid Adykon entirely, Yssil tried moving while attacking. A diagonal step forward and a bottom-left to upper-right swing. A step backward to lure an imaginary enemy closer and then a quick narrow slash forward. A forward step and a stab – would it work for intimidation or would it only reveal his lack of skill? A half turn to the right and another slash…Some minutes later, much quicker than he would have liked, Yssil felt tired and as per Adykon’s orders, stopped and took some time to regain his breath. He looked at Adykon but said nothing, even though he was curious how he performed. However, Yssil thought that even if nothing was said, he would see soon enough how he fared in the mock spar they were about to have.

"Well i don't know if his mother told you what would happen, His bodily organs will change and his appearance will change as well to look more fey. Of course the energy in his body will be increased greatly which will grant him more spells that only fey can learn" He said walking beside them and to the garden.

"Something of note as well he will soon know the knowledge of the fey language and speaking with the earth, Fey people can speak with the plants and have a greater understanding of the earth" He added.

"Certainly. Though I would like to be reunited with my loyal warriors, quickly if possible," said Rebat. The situation he left was tense, that he knew. He can only hope that his soldiers were not already slaughtered where they stood by an angry mob, or worse.

She would never dare. She liked it that way. Her namesake was the goddess of steel, the steel that won glory in battle. Both a commander and a caretaker at once, she was the mother that all kobold aspired to be. "I wonder what it will be like, once I am eaten by Hetuis," she hummed. "After I brave the ordeals of his stomach, I am released into the afterlife. Will I dance with the gods?" She looked over at Kali with a friendly grin, hoping to find some validation in her theological musings.
