I hope it's at least somewhat obvious where Zachary stands on the issue. I would love to have a scrum debate, that sounds entertaining.

One suggestion for the scrum among the currently arguing characters was this:

Braden/Zach
Jezabel/Cyrus
Aleecia/Calvin????
Thomas/Max

Obviously it's not set in stone. For Jezebel I would be okay with her debating Zach or Cyrus.

I'd like everyone who is interested in participating in the scrum to let me know. We can definitely find a match for everyone. If you've already written a post, you can just like this post because I need to feel loved to let me know you'd like to be included in it. It would be most helpful. It would also be helpful if you could decide among yourselves who you want to debate with, and notify @Warpcircuit of what you'd like your character's banner to say. Here's something he made as a sample:



If you're worried you might not have an opponent, Bliss and Denis haven't stated their stance yet, and could be made into opponents for anyone. There are a few other characters like that as well. But again, participation isn't mandatory. This is just something that a few users were talking about on discord that they decided they wanted to try.

With all the scrums done, I will post the NoC starter soon^TM. But in the meantime, I would like everyone to decide amongst yourselves what everyone would like to do. Ideally, I'd like everyone who is interested in participating in the NoC to be in a “team” that will handle some responsibility, be it rescuing Krista, fighting Nariko, warding off the other carnage sisters (might need multiple teams for all the different paths they can take. Remember: they start in their own rooms and can come back if defeated.), placing home alone style traps everywhere, just use your imaginations. For anyone concerned that Nariko is going to be the only interesting thing happening during this NoC: don't worry.

I'd like these teams to not have too many people in them, so that we can maybe do everyone's part as a collab. Maybe 3-4 players tops. But again, you guys decide how you wanna do it. I'm avalable to give suggestions, but I'd prefer it if everyone could kind of make their own choices.

NOC IS HERE! you may make individual set up posts if you'd like, but the bulk of the action will be taking place in many small groups that will write in collabs. The groups are as follows:

Attack team = Noel, Alice, Max, Zach
Support = Allie, Ellie, Mercy, Calvin
Distraction = Ice, Felix, Faith, Daimyon, Mary (Distraction may have some sub groups)
Rescue = Cyrus, Rika, Krista

Denis, Bliss, and Lucy may be squeezed into a group, and Braden, Jezabel, Caora, and Thomas aren't participating in any groups. They may appear in some solo posts if they feel like writing something.

I'm in the middle of a move, so I can't really do much at the moment. I'll be willing to talk about each group's goals and such in a bit more detail at a later date. Or have a discussion here or in discord. It's a plan most of you thought up anyway.

So with all the collabs going on, here's what I see things happening.

A-team will write a post, primarily dealing with drawing out Nariko.
R-team will write a post afterwards, and we will see if Krista was successfully rescued.
A-team will write another post afterwards, and we'll see if Nariko was vanquished.

All D-teams will write at least one post during the NoC, order is not important. Davis made it sound like you might have a few extra things to worry about.

Not sure what S-team is going to do. I'm pretty sure they are just going to have an uneventful stay on the sidelines. Yup, nothing special about S-team.

Oh, but regardless of which team collab you're on, do make sure to contact me when it's relevant for a carnage sister to appear. Which for D-teams should be fairly soon.

Alright, So I basically came to talk about three things. The first being how the collabs are going

The first a-team collab is coming along
the R-team collab has started
2 of the 3 D-team collabs are done, while another has yet to begin. One of them will be getting posted tomorrow, and
the S-team collab will be able to start pretty soon. I dunno why, I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen

The second thing being that, yes, one of you is well on their way to committing a murderer. I know right? It feels like we just ousted Erin but SOMEONE still thinks the cast of characters is too bloated. I'm inclined to agree actually, so I'm not going to stop them. But yea, it's going to be march soon. Which means the trial should start in April, provided everything goes smoothly. knock on wood, cross your fingers, pray to god, hmm, this is starting to sound desperate...

And the third thing is, I'm going to allow the memes to resume. It's a little too quiet around here without them. Before though it was just getting so crazy that announcements and messages like that were getting pushed to the previous page. But I don't feel like that's a concern anymore.

Another week, another "State of the RP" update!

I have 1 D-collab ready to post, and another one that I have yet to be invited to.
R-team collab is wrapping up.
S-team collab is under way. And despite what you may have heard, it's fairly uneventful.

(notices the teams spell I.R.S)

And the last A team collab... might get canceled. In which case we'd basically go back to normal play by post roleplaying to resolve the rest of carnage night. I don't know who's going to be there, but it looks like it might be a lot of characters. and if everyone in the RP is going to be in one spot, why collab it?

So yea, things are moving right along. I hope everyone is having fun.
