Added the names of two future Gunpla upgrades Sousuke will later get. No descriptions or anything, just names. I will say that Mach Fist Master will be a separate Gunpla Sousuke uses in during the interim while the Crossbone Joker is being upgraded into the Joker Xtreme.

@Crimson Lion Correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed like this battle was suppose to be some kind of plot scenario. Were you suppose to win and teach Natsu and Sousuke something cool?

@Renny That was the semi original plan but I've learned that in RPing it's always good to let the players do what they want.

@Crimson Lion Well it might have been better to discuss this with us first lol. I assumed you just wanted to get trounced by better Gunpla Battlers.

Though I did have a inkling about the lesson. I just wasn't sure how it would play out.

Enemy Gunpla Ideas:

1. Blood Baron. Essentially a vampire gunpla, described as such because it has the ability to literally drain particle energy from its opponents in order to recharge itself. It just so happens to do that by "biting" down on the Gunpla's neck, because if you're going to be described as a vampire anyway, you might as well just run with it. Appearance-wise it probably runs with a heavy bat-motif if for no other reason than to keep to the vampire theme.

2. Divine Shogun. Basically a cross between Susanowo and Musha Gundam. It doesn't use a sword, though, instead it uses a big ass spear in the style of the actual weapon known as the Tonbo-giri.

3. Phantom Rogue. A phantom thief gunslinger Gundam, essentially. Probably rocks an actual cloak a la Crossbone Full Cloth. And rather than use a beam rifle it instead dual wields a pair of beam pistols. In terms of melee, I'm thinking some kind of Rapier-like GN Sword that can also extend into a heat whip. I can see this one being Sousuke's rival in particular.

By the way, skip me for now since Sousuke is out of the fight anyway.

I can imagine Blood baron as a Deathscythe based Gunpla. And it's ability isn't a far stretch since the star build gundam can do something similar. Honestly I'd REALLY like to see Echo Barbatos against this guy. Since Barbatos Lupus Rex is very werewolf like. Vampire vs Werewolf except with robots.

Divine Shogun definitely sounds like the Gunpla of an eccentric guy who likes to flash their culture. Definitely someone who'd end up as a rival or enemy.

And the Phantom Rogue Definitely sounds like a rival. If this was an anime then the Intro definitely has the Joker and Phantom battling each other.

@Double I'm more in tune with the Shogun and Rogue than the Bloody Baron. I'm fine with either or ... though I'm leaning more towards Rogue.

@Renny Why's that? I mean I kinda tailor made that one to be the Crossbone Joker's rival. Surely it's not just because of the whip sword being similar to the Barbatos' tail?

In any case, those are just a mere three suggestions. We can always insert more enemy Gunpla. Hell an entire team came to mind while I was in the shower earlier. It basically stars the Phantom Rogue on a team full of Phantom Thief archetypes. The Rogue is based on Arsene Lupin, another member can be Ninja-esque and based on Goemon Ishikawa. Another member can be an archer type and based on Robin Hood. You get the idea.

Admittedly, I have also begun the mental-works on a rival for Natsu. I think the formation of other teams would be a good place to start world-building. At the moment it feels empty. As if Natsu, Sousuke, and Nanashi are the only people in the universe.

@Renny True, but if all goes to according to my plan, Sousuke will absolutely need the Joker Xtreme upgrade just to take on the Phantom Rogue because it will initially kick his ass, and badly.

So next arc I'm planning to have us compete in a practice match with another school. Any ideas or suggestion?

@Double The moment you mentioned your Joker Xtreme, I attempted to think of ways to improve Echo Barbatos. At the moment I got nothing but I'm sure over time something'll come to me.

Natsu's rival is gonna be a girl /(potential) love interest.

@Renny Eh, all I have is a name and nothing else. So really, we're in the same boat. I at least have a concept in mind for the Mach Fist Master, a heavily customized SD Master Gundam (yes, the same one Sousuke tried to build at the beginning). The name of the game with that will be maximized speed and agility, and using that to inflict an almost nonstop string of punches and kicks. It'll have ONE powerful attack it can call on in an emergency, one where it puts all of its particle energy into a single Shining Finger esque punch. The punch is meant to be so strong it all but guarantees an instant knock out, but it also leaves the Mach Fist Master with no energy left afterward, so it either hits and Sousuke wins, or misses and he loses. So basically an outright Do-or-Die attack.

@Crimson Lion It could be one of Sousuke's previous schools. I established that he's transferred several times and as a result has been on several battle teams before meeting Nanashi. This could be one of the clubs he used to be a member of.

@Double Seems Sousuke's fond of risky attacks. We need someone like that.

@Crimson Lion Since I'm basically molding Natsu's rival at the moment. She could be from this school as well. Y'know if you don't have any specific plans for them.

@Renny I mean, his main Gunpla is called a "Joker", so it kind of makes sense for him to specialize in wild card attacks.

@Double@Renny I really like the idea 2 ideas of it being a previous school and Natsus rival showing up. So I guess it'd be the rival is the captain of their team? Well we can work on that once you make the rival.

@Crimson Lion Maybe not the leader. Co-leader perhaps.

So is our team gonna get any kind of Coach or mentor figure?
