"...Sorry?" Irvine responds to being told to lighten up. "The whole social game isn't really something I'm good at. But being alone does that I guess." He sighs, more to himself then the situation. "I can only make shapes, I don't think I can change shape. But I'll keep that in mind... Wait, do you change shapes?" Irvine asked as he tilted his head once more. This person seemed to have a much more exciting life than he if boredom was the true reason they'd come here, or were they just hiding their reason?

When he was offered a cigarette Irvine paused staring for a moment. Such an offer was definitely hard to find in the city, but once he reached out with his hand his own shadow again reacted as it swatted him. Somewhat annoyed Irvine responds "I guess not." Before he could comment once more about anything related to his shadow he heard a voice, whispering, but from where? Irvine looked over his shoulder seeing nought there as he hears the girl give her answer to what he'd heard he could only assume he wasn't hearing things.

"Chaos is bound to win in the end every time, so why fear it?" Irvine responds in kind. "Before light came the darkness reigned and as it arrives the darkness merely hides. Thus once the light is gone the dark returns and within it I shall thrive." Irvine shook his head. "Though I do believe such times are no where near their arrival. You should show yourself."

Irvine thought for a moment as his attention returned to his original conversation. "Not sure I'd call making a hood fancy,
but if you want one... consider it a thank you? For trying to make the situation less unbearable."
Irvine stepped to the side as he stared at the shadow being cast by Epsilon he motions upward with his head. "Gonna need you to try and stay still,
much harder to do it for others than it is for myself but once it's there it doesn't take much to hold it in place..."
Irvine stepped back in front of Epsilon as the thin layer of darkness loomed in the air, against lights will. "Just say the word and its done." His line of sight was looking above Epsilon as though holding the shade with his stare. "Alternatively I could just drop it..."

Winter

Winter smiled at Leval as he spoke but he quickly got uncomfortable as more and more creatures came, a ghost, a manticore, another human, and even a robot. She listened to him and stared in confusion as he tried to cut through her skin. When he actually scratched the surface it only left a minor sting and it was such little damage, it healed instantly.

"Is it normal for you to randomly walk up to strangers and try to cut through their skin?"

She wasn't angry, no she understood the robot's curiosity however she would have to be careful around him. She watched as others came, a neko and some sort of creature she had never met before. She nodded her head respectfully.

"Hello to all of you. I'm Winter, lovely to meet you all."

She smiled and looked around at everyone slowly. There were some interesting students attending this school. She was looking forward to socialising with them all.

Drumdawn

Drumdawn watched as more and more students arrived. There were all kinds of different species. He looked to the robot and tilted his heads as he watched it experiment with Winter. It was rather interesting really. He looked to Kuro and then Shade as he arrived, then looked around at everyone else.

"I'm Drumdawnn, nice to meet you all."

He smiled at everyone and then looked back to the manticore. There were more mythical creatures than he had expected. Sadly,there didn't seem to be any more dragons around.

"Thank you," he responded, slightly taken aback by her compliment of the name he'd chosen. "I like your name as well, it suits you."

He was starting to feel comfortable talking with Dawn, there was something about her that he liked. He had never acquainted a mage before and to think of that would have been highly absurd if he were still living in his lake. He listened intently as she explained the nature of her being, having little experience with magic that wasn't glamour, this was all very new to him. When she displayed her abilities, he watched with intrigue.

The girl became a creature of shade, fading in and out of his vision. She even gave him a cheeky wave before reappearing in her proper place, he was almost delighted enough to applaud her. Almost. She had managed to reign a smile out of him, a real one. It was odd to see it surface so suddenly, replacing his complacent frown. He had teeth that were just a bit too sharp. "That was-" he froze mid-sentence, seeming to try to form a word that wouldn't come. "That was-"

He made a vague motion with his hands, one that seemed to attempt to portray wonder or amazement. He was about to try to speak again when the pegasus approached them, greeting them and dipping her head to them. He swallowed thickly as he looked at the white horse-like creature, noting how polar opposite they were to one another. She was pristine, almost ethereal, truly a beautiful example of power and grace. His horse form would have looked like it had crawled from a bog in comparison to her. Normally, this would have sparked some sort of nasty response from him. Self hatred made him act like a boggard at times.

He restrained himself to a stiff nod of recognition. "Celestia," he greeted, her name was foreign on his tongue. "I'm Isaiah."

He could feel his left pinkie finger start to tingle, a sensation that he'd normally associate with the pins and needles of glamour. Except, this was glamour being stripped away, forcefully pulled from his flesh as his body noticed the growing absence of water. More of his human skin was starting to die. That was just great. Just what he needed, more rot. "We were just discussing powers and the like. I don't believe I've ever met a pegasus."

Lunar
@RoccanIronclad

Lunar was hunting in the woods looking for something big enough for her and her family to have for breakfast she picked up the tracks of a dear and as she begun to track and hunt it a letter appeared infront of her she stopped what she was doing and return to her human form and read the letter to once she was done she ran back home and got her bag she packed a few clothes and said goodbye to her parents then change back into her wolf form holding her bag in her mouth then ran out the door heading to the meeting place after a few hours of running at full speed she had finally arrived at the meeting location but she didn’t expect the floor to be so icy she slipped over and went flying across the field when she felt a sudden and intense chill run down her spine and with a load thud she slamed into a tree as she returned to her human form she could feel the could getting wors almost like it was building inside of her she grabbed her bag and walked behind the tree she had slamed into and got dressed once she was done she walked back around and took a look at the other students it was then she noticed another werewolf and walked over to the young red head boy
“hi wasn’t expecting to see another werewolf at the...”

Sabrina
@EchoicChamber@akirashadow@The One

Sabrina was practicing her voodoo magic when she got her letter she quickly read it and let out a soft sigh of relief when she found out she was accepted she used her magic to turn one of her dolls into a bag that doll then climbed onto her back and its eyes stretched up and over and sat comfortably on her soldiers she then had the rest of them clim inside doll that was on her back then she grew Crystal wings and flew off to the meeting location to see the rest of the students once there she saw a few students had already arrived but the one that drew her attention the most was a sin demon she saw it sneak up and wispper something in the ear of two other students although it didn’t seam to effect them much Sabrina decided to give him a test of his own medicine and show him how to really freek some one out she took her doll backpack and opened its mouth she infused it with her dark magic bringing it to life as it began to grow

The dark rabbit sunk into the ground and it shot up out of the ground underneath Pozuzy with its drooling mouth wide open ready to swallow him hole of course it’s only intended to scare him and would pass right though him if he didn’t manage to get out of the way in time

Max
@The One@DragonKingUk

Suddenly a new creature walked over to then he began to scan it like he did the rest “no physical body detected, readings do not match any known materials scan is inconclusive Moving to physical probing”

he then raise his hand this time a needle came out of his finger he walked over to shade and injected nanites into him however they where immediately stop transmitting data as he lost connection to then
“Life form is immune to nanite injection further expirmention is required”

Max then looked to Kuro his scans showed nothing noteworthy so he moved on and looked to winter and grace he listened to them he look up before answering her question “no expiration is not always necessary as grace said I am a military android it is in my programming to find any potential weaknesses of any new life forms I encounter in case I find myself in a combat scenario with them or another one of their kind”
He then looked to grace “last I saw Dr Gero he was fully functional and had no operating problems he should have a many more years of functionally yet”
Max then looked to grace and began scanning her “interference detected moving to physical probing “
he then raised his hand once more this time a needle came out of his finger and walked over to grace as he went to inject his nanites

Oshikuru
@The One

Oshikuru listened to Miarikia let out a soft sigh before responding
“That’s a shame I was hoping you knew of a way to suppress the demons influence my demon is extremely powerful and unfortunately if I were to expel Astaroth from my body it would kill me so my only option is to find a way to control it or to completely suppress it”

Rose
@The One@DragonKingUk

Rose was a little surprised when she heard the voice of an angel in her head and soon after a bio droid walked over to her she watched as he scans poked prodded and probed some of the creatures and listened as he read out all the information he gained out load she made a mental note of everything he said she took one look at shade and remembered the books she had read on heartless from what Max had said and what her magic sight showed her he was definitely a heartless however unlike the story’s she had read this one didn’t attack mindlessly and it could even speak this was fascinating to her “umm are you a heartless? I have read many books about them and you seem different from everything I have read about heartless” just then a Neko Prince showed up Rose was a little nervous she had trouble dealing with normal people let alone royalty the only reason she was able to speak to these people in the first place was because her curiosity got the better of her she couldn’t not check out a real life ghost, dragon, Phoenix and a manticore but things where getting a little crowded all of a sudden she let out a soft sigh of relief when she heard Kuro speak however at least he didn’t seam like he was all that concerned with formalities it was then she looked at his pet for the first time a talking cat was very interesting but she noticed something a little odd she looked hat to Kuro the back to his cat before looking to Kuro one last time
“Hello my name is Rose I couldn’t help but noticed you and your cat share the same magical aura...” she paused for a second as she adjusted her glasses “This isn’t a coincidence is it? I assume it is nothing more then I common house cat and you have used your magic to give it the ability to speak as well as enhancing its intelligence?”

Beast

Beast watched as new students showed up and soon they had a small gathering of students however nothing really seamed to be happening and he was still tired from his journey so he decided to lay down on the grass and try to relax a little he couldn’t remember the late time he was able to just take a breather and not worry about looking over his shoulder

Soul

Soul listened to Leval and nodded, well floated up and down slowly. He was about to answer when suddenly he disappeared just as Lunar ran straight into him. It was all suddenly very dark for him. He could feel a dark presence looming over him. There was a voice which boomed out. This place, wherever he was, it was very strange. He floated around slowly, trying to work out what to do, how to escape. when suddenly Lunar's eyes widened and flashed, her words were quickly cut off mid sentence. 'Hi wasn't expecting to see another werewolf at the....' Soul, now is possession of Lunar looked around slowly, completely confused. He spoke through Lunar, speaking to himself.

"Where am I? What's going on....wait, am I speaking? Am I actually speaking?"

Normally, he could 'talk' through his spiritual communication. It wasn't actually talking, it was more telepathic like. His voiced would just echo and sound empty, emotionless but now, he had a voice. He was actually talking. He looked at Lunar's hands through her eyes and smiled widely. Suddenly, Lunar began to dance, jump around and sing out loudly so everyone could hear.

While he was singing, he was completely unaware that Lunar had been talking to someone previously. In fact, he probably made Lunar look pretty damn silly right about now. By the time he was done he sighed softly.

"This is amazing, I've never possessed anyone before, I didn't even know how until now!"

He looked at Lunar's hands again and slowly began to rub them along his new body, feeling the face, squeezing the nose, pulling the cheeks, rubbing the lips. It had been so long since he had a body, this was amazing. While in possession, there was so much processing going on in his mind. All of Lunar's memories, all of her personal details. He could even feel her powers deep within her. That sense of dread he had felt, it must of been her werewolf. He could feel it now, he could feel it all, but now that he had calmed down a little and had a moment to process everything that was happening to him, one question came to mind. How exactly did he leave?

Kuro

Kuro watched as the biodroid scanned and probed a few people, although when he saw Shade walk up he stared at him with pure hate in his eyes. How could they let a heartless into the academy? Heartless were nothing but evil. He stood away from him for a moment and looked over to Rose.

"Nice to meet you Rose, you are correct. Yoruichi is a common house cat, I shared my power with her and enhanced her intelligence as well as giving some power of her own, and trust me. All heartless are evil, whether they attack on sight or not. They were created for one reason, to kill and destroy. I can't believe that thing is joining the school"

"Yoruichi looked to Shade for a moment before shaking her head. She then looked to Rose with a small smile.

"We have had a lot of trouble with Heartless in the past. Anyway, despite being a normal house cat, I am far more capable than any normal cat with Kuro's help. I advise him an aid him in battles."

It was then that there was someone singing, Kuro and Yoruichi looked to see what was going on and stared at Lunar slightly confused. However it only took a moment for them both to realise what was going on. Kuro gave a small snicker at Soul's excitement. He wondered what it was like for him, possessing his first body.

"I guess you never forget your first possession, right Yoruichi?"

Yoruichi gave a small smile and spoke up.

"The first time is always special. It is rather amusing to see as well."

The two quickly focused back on Rose and everyone else.

@PharaohAtem

Red

Red was still bouncing on the trampoline when Lunar was possessed. She stopped bouncing and looked over. Seeing Lunar dance and jump around made Red giggle a little. She jumped off the trampoline and held out her hand. Suddenly, all the paper returned up her sleeves. She walked over to Lunar and Ash with a bright smile on her face.

"Hello you two! I'm Red, who are you?"

She turned to Lunar and technically, Soul and tilted her head slightly.

"So, who's possessing you?"

She stared at them, focuing on Lunar most of all. She vaguely understood what Possession was. She didn't understand it completely, but she understood it enough.

@RoccanIronclad@PharaohAtem

Shade

Shade watched as a robot scanned a few people. It turned to him and scanned him, and when that failed it decided to try and probe him. Shade just stood there confused, he saw no reason not to object. He felt the nanites enter his body but the moment they did, his natural defences attacked them and immediately corrupted them in seconds. It was then that Rose spoke to him, followed by some hateful words from the Neko. He turned to Rose and gave a soft nod.

"Yes, I am different from other Heartless although I do not deny that I am evil. My species as a whole is evil, they live on destruction and death. Created to corrupt and kill. The only reason I was able to resist that urge was because of such strong emotions and feelings. Although they have dulled after becoming a heartless, I can still feel emotions unlike most heartless. Currently, my strongest emotion right now is loneliness, but also fear. Fear of losing control of myself and hurting any of you."

He finally finished and looked around slowly, wondering what they thought of all that information. Shade then took notice of Lunar. After giving her a quick look, he could see Soul within her. He didn't really find it that funny, he watched then slowly averted his gaze and turned back to the others.

@PharaohAtem

Pozuzy

Pozuzy was a little surprised at how little his prank affected them, normally he would of been annoyed but no. He was more interested in what they said. he smiled widely and cancelled out the invisibility spell, allowing himself to be seen.

"Interesting, I am Pozuzy, a Sin Demon!"

He gave a soft snicker before a huge black rabbit like creature came out of nowhere trying to eat him. It passed right through him and he gave a little shriek in terror. Then he looked around slowly, when he quickly realised someone was pranking him he laughed out loud. He looked around before spotting Sabrina, sensing that the spell and puppet came from her.

"You scared me! I liked a good scare, that was fun! Who are you?"

He tilted his head then looked back to the other two. There were quite a few interesting people around. He was really going to have to get to know them all. Then someone began to sing, dance and jump around. Pozuzy looked over to Lunar and could see Soul within her just by looking at her. He laughed out loudly again, finding the whole situation harlarious.

@akirashadow@PharaohAtem@EchoicChamber

Celestia

Celestia listened to Dawn and Isaiah. She gave a little nod as she listened. When powers were mentioned she gave a small smile. She was quite interested to know what the two were capable of. However, she decided to speak about her own abilities first, since the two had already discussed their own.

"Interesting, I can use Celestial Magic, meaning I can draw power from the Sun, the Stars and the Moon. I can even draw power from Heaven. I also have my natural abilities as well."

She smiled before looked at the other two, trying to read their reactions as she wondered what the two thought of her abilities. It was then that someone began singing, dancing and jumping around. She turned to Lunar to watch, wondering what was going on. It was only when possession was mentioned that she realised something, or someone had possessed the woman. Interesting. It was most likely that ghost she saw earlier.

@EchoicChamber@Prosaic

Grace

Grace looked to Kuro and listened to him, before looking to Shade. After a moment she looked to the Biodroid once more who had tried to probe Shade. He was now approaching her. She backed away and quickly closed her eyes, focusing. Suddenly, a powerful magic wave was sent at Max, sending him back a couple of feet.

"Try that again, and you're losing an arm."

She didn't like the idea of being probed and Max was a biodroid. She could use magic to repair him if damage was done. She turned to Lunar who was acting very strange, although, she quickly realised she was being possessed by Soul. She could see him just by looking at Lunar. She found it a little amusing honestly.

@PharaohAtem

Shela

Shela just stood where she was for now, not paying much attention to anything until beaver toys appeared in front of her. They began to do little stunts in front of her, she was with a little giggle, finding them funny. Drake rolled his eyes and looked around until he saw Leval using his magic.

"If only you had powers like that Shela, but no. you've still got none. Not a single damn power. Why did you even attend this school?"

She looked down for a moment before looking up to Lunar, seeing her put a smile on her face. She didn't quite understand what was going on, but it was funny. After the song and dance was over, she walked over to Leval with a smile.

"Hello, my name is Shela. That was really funny what you did with those toys. Thank you."

She smiled brightly to him, Drake just stood by her side.

@EurmalEye

Miarikia

Miarikia listened to Oshikuru and was surprised when he mentioned Astaroth. She knew him well, after all each and every one of her demons had some sort of connection with him.

"Astaroth? He has been missing from hell for eighty seven years. One of the demons I possess, Tyrannican has been searching for him. I also control Kakalukia, Destructon and Rytrinax. Each one have their own connections to Astaroth. When they find out where Astaroth is, they're going to come for you."

She knew that eventually she was going to have to use her demonic possession, and when she did the four demons of hell would find out about Astaroth. This was not good, not good at all. Although, she did find this whole situation slightly interesting as well.

Epsilon gave the guy a wide, toothy grin that seemed to stretch just a bit too far. “Well, practice makes perfect, kiddo. You’ll be a natural social butterfly before you even know it.” She gave him a playful wink. A sort of glint came to her eye at the whole little “change shape” question, but she hid it well enough, shrugging and taking another hit. At this rate, she mused, she’d have to see if there were any good drugstores up in the ol’ academy. She really should have checked the place out before coming here- she had the wings to do it- but curiosity had sort of won out in that whole department.

Plus she was feeling kinda lazy. If someone was going to go and pick them up anyway, she saw no point in using up good energy.

“Sure I can,” Epsilon answered eventually. “Wouldn’t mind showing off for you, if you want. Might not like what you see much, though, kid. Not as pretty on the inside as I am on the out.” She chuckled to herself, pocketing the spare, untaken cigarette. “And that’d be great, kiddo. We could match.” She obediently stood still as Irvine worked his magic, her only real movement being her nose as she sniffled a little.

“Drop it whenever you think it’s good. You seem like a pretty trustworthy kid. You pick when it’s ready.” Pozuzy’s introduction successfully dragged Epsilon’s attention back to the little creature. “Sin Demon, eh?” The words were barely audible, muttered under her breath. While she wasn’t really a “sin demon”, she and the little hellspawn were still kin of sorts. Small world. Instead of voicing her thoughts, however, she grinned. “You can call me Epsilon.”

The appearance of the demonic shadow bunny and its master did little to make her bat an eye. One of the ladies suddenly picking up a whole song and dance straight out of a kid’s movie did legitimately get a laugh out of her, before she turned back to Irvine, wisps of smoke dancing from her lips. “You said you didn’t know what you were, kid?” Epsilon mulled over this for a second. “Ever thought about getting one of those old blood tests done? Or having a vamp take a good whiff of you? Real good at figuring someone out.”

@akirashadow@The One@PharaohAtem

Even if Isaiah’s smile was a bit...toothy, to say the least, it was infectious, and Dawn found herself returning it with one of her own. “Thank you,” she said. “It’s, ah, not exactly the flashiest trick out there, but I like to think it has its uses.” As odd as it was- especially given the particular...circumstances surrounding the other- there was almost a sort of wide-eyed awe in which Isaiah seemed to be taking the world. It wasn’t an all-encompassing naivety, nor a total innocence, but the sort of wonder you’d see in an adventurer hiking into worlds unknown. Of a tourist mingling with the locals, seeing the sights and devouring them with a passionate hunger. Given his explanations for taking the trip to the academy, it didn’t seem too far-fetched a comparison. It was almost...refreshing to watch, in its own way.

Dawn gave him a concerned glance, not quite feeling the sort of needling sensation that he was experiencing, but aware of it al the same. Perhaps there would be a pool or lake of some kind he could visit from time to time, at the Academy. She smiled as Celeste gave an explanation of her powers, folding her hands onto her skirt as she heard the pegasus out.

“That, ah, certainly sounds incredible. Very powerful.” She reached up, adjusting her hat. There was something almost curious about that- not just Celeste’s offhand explanation of her powers, but those of the rest of the students. In the corners of her eyes Dawn could see others demonstrating their skills and talents, among simply just existing as beings that simply radiated power. It made her wonder if there would be separate classes, of sorts. Before she could go too far into her thoughts, one of the women began dancing about, singing a song from...Charlotte’s Web, of all things.

Dawn stiffened.

“That’s...not her. In control of her body, that is. She’s being possessed.” Dawn’s brows furrowed in visible concern. Possession was nothing to be laughed at. It was something disturbingly invasive- clawing inside one of the most private, most precious things that a person could ever have. A violation of all their secrets, only to steal every ounce of control away. It was possible that it had been done with the permission of the woman, but the mind in charge seemed to view it almost as a pleasant surprise.

It made her insides churn.

“This...it isn’t right.”

Leval Lamrue

@The One@PharaohAtem

Soul appeared to be listening, which was difficult to tell in his current form. It was possible that he was going to respond, however, a large wolf ran past him, slipped on the ice that Soul left, and kept going. A loud thud sound came from the trees distracting Leval as he stared for a brief moment. He turned back to resume his conversation with the ghostly being, and found no trace of the being.

"...Soul?"

A female humanoid, proclaiming her identity as a werewolf walked out and stopped stiffened and radiated amazement that she could talk. Leval raised an eyebrow as she began to sing and dance. Leval glanced from the missing location where Soul had been and the singing werewolf. Somewhere, in a far distant town, a light bulb turned on. Soul had placed the being under its control, even if seemingly unwillingly and that was unacceptable. Leval pulled out his smartphone and looked into the nature of spirits. This was, of course, not a particularly optimal way to find out information of magical beings, but lacking access to a library full of information and ancient tomes it would have to do. It did have the minor advantage of expediency. Leval looked through various lists of ways different cultures lore had dealt with spirits and then compared it to what he had on hand. There was only one match, but it was worth a shot.

Leval began to rummage around his bag as the werewolf/Soul's song, he could not place it, came to an end. Shela came up to him and thanked him for the show he had given her earlier with a smile on her face. Leval paused for a moment, returning the smile, too distracted to hear the lizard's insult at that moment.

"Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed the show. You must excuse me I think I have to try and help those two at the moment.
I will be right back though."

Leval had 18 younger cousins, aunts, uncles, and his parents who lived with together on a plot of land. Given exorbitant costs of living and maintaining the area it was difficult to afford to many delicacies like sweets. For both Leval's massive sweet tooth and his younger siblings this was an awful situation. To fix it, and possibly for his own purposes, Leval had trained himself to be quite a good dessert baker. He had brought several of his supplies to school to keep practicing including several basic ingredients. At this moment, the only was that mattered was the can filled with salt that he brought out of his bag. According to his brief research, more than a few different cultures used to salt to protect, ward, and banish spirits. No guarantee of success though, so it couldn't help to try and improve his chances.

"Ash. Cinder."

Leval gently called out. From underneath the concealment of his cloak, two pairs of small wings began to flutter. Two red, butterflies whose wings seemed to be made of of gently, flickering flames came out from behind his cloak. Needing to further instruction, they flew small circles above the container of salt. Tiny particles of what appeared to flame came out of the wings and settled into the salt itself, infusing it with a small amount of the life-based healing magic.

"Thank you both."

The butterflies began to fly more freely, one swooping close to the ground by Shela's feet, it's wings not burning anything. Leval walked right over to the Soul-possessed werewolf and overturned the can of magic-infused salt. The salt began to fall out rapidly aimed straight at the werewolf's head.

Igni kairn

"Oh! Oh! Do a flower!"

"Nooooo! Do a star!"

Igni smiled as the two siblings - brother and sister respectively - bickered over what she would show them next, while the adults just glared at her. Gods bless the innocence of children. Seeing how the last request she did was from the boy, Igni figured it was only fair to do the girl's request next.

Cupping her hands and leaning in closer to the two, a small ember twirled around in her cupped palms; much to the enjoyment of the two children. The ember grew in size, before suddenly shooting up as a crude, fiery flower sprouted from Igni's cupped hands. The shape only lasted for a second of two, but it was enough to make the two kids gasp in amazement.

The flower quickly dissipated in a puff of embers, as holding the shape was still rather tricky. Unfortunately, one of the larger embers was caught by the wind and landed on the boy's exposed arm. It wasnt large enough to cause any harm, but it was enough for him to gasp in surprise. It was the catalyst the children's mother had been looking for all along.

"Jeremy! Ann! Get away from that girl!"

The woman glared at Igni as she quickly yanked her children away, spitting out the word 'lady' as if it were an insult. Igni just frowned, wasnt dumb, she was well aware that people outside her village didnt exactly look kindly upon demons... Who could blame them, given the history? And while she had prepared herself for it, it still hurt a little.

"Hmpf... He's fine."

She mumbled softly, while the entire busstation just glowered at her as if she was some monster. Crossing her arms, Igni leaned back in the seat; huffing a small bout of fire from her mouth. This was going to be a long and awkward bus ride...

Bursting from the thickets, Igni panted as she ran into the clearing; little twigs and leafs sticking out of her hair.

"Ah... Ah... Hah... D-did I make it in ti- Ooh!"

Igni's breath halted as her eyes gazed upon the veritable circus of creatures gathering around in the clearing. Feeling her spirits lift a little after the awful bus ride, not to mention fact she got off at the wrong station, Igni clutched her bag to her chest as she wandered up to the group of happily chatting people. She could recognize a few 'creatures' from her parent's books, but the majority were a wondereus mystery to her.

Feeling a little hopeful, Igni wandered through the throng of people, hoping to maybe come across someone that looked like her... To no avail. While she didnt hate her parents in the slightest, there was an undeniable interest in her own heritage. Something her parents had kept uncharacteristically quiet about.

Still tired from the journey, Igni planted herself underneath a tree with a happy sigh; away from the hubbub of the crowd of mythical creatures.

Celestia had a kind of elegance about her, it reminded him of the Seelie Fae. The Seelie court was elegant, they were like light rippling across the surface of water. Inconsistent, glistening, and bright. They were far more interested in the human world than his Unseelie brethren, they meddled, they placed changelings. They did annoying pranks but mostly seemed to respect the humans, as if their iron wrapped society fascinated them. They didn't thrive on suffering, their glamour wasn't powered by an influx of negative emotions.

They were the polar opposites to the Unseelie and even stranger to the solitary Fae. It was strange to think about but he couldn't help but acknowledge that the Seelie Fae would really like Celestia. She would fit right into their bright court, with her courteous nature and influx of power, she'd be downright respected. He imagined that if the Seelie ever met one of her kind that liked the idea of being a steed, they would jump on it in a heartbeat. If one could pardon a pun.

"Your powers sound truly a- good," he said, meaning it to some degree. "I believe that you'd be quite popular in the Seelie courts, they would highly respect you."

He thought of saying more but was quickly distracted by a woman who had broken into song. He blinked in confusion, staring as she began to dance about. He wondered briefly if she was drunk before Dawn spoke up, her voice was full up discomfort. He glanced to her, not quite believing for a second that that the young lady was possessed. He found it more likely that she was just crazy or very drunk.

He'd seen humans act similarly when they got a little too tipsy off faery wine. They would sway and sing and spin. He had even seen humans eat stones when drinking faery wine, though perhaps that had been because they'd been glamoured to resemble food. Nonetheless, this display seemed to scream drunk at him. He didn't have much experience with spirits, the closest he'd ever gotten had been the wisps. "Are you sure she's not-"

He watched as these things that highly resembled sprites began to conspire with a man who looked human enough. Mouth twisting to the side into an odd frown, he stared outright as the man overturned salt onto the woman's head. He blinked a few times, glancing from the salt covered woman to Dawn and then back again. He seemed, well, he seemed baffled. "Oh."

Lacking words, the water horse stared. "Does he do that to everyone?"

[color=0072bc]"I mean changing shape does sound interesting. But I do believe I should be careful what I wish for, can it be more daunting than what I've already seen here?" Irvine momentarily breaks his line of sight to glance round the field once more almost forgetting what he was doing. The next moment he'd snapped his head back to catch the falling darkness in place. "Stupid..." he mumbles to himself as he lowers his gaze slowly, the shade slowly lowering as it rested atop Epsilon's head and took shape of its own volition. "There, easy." Irvine said triumphantly to himself.

"So a uhhh, demon huh? I-I guess that's kind of normal all things considered. There's more documented cases of your kind then most of the people? Things? That are here." When the demon and Epsilon had introduced themselves he felt somewhat inclined to follow suit. "Irvine, I'm Irvine." He forced a smile followed by a short nervous laugh. As he does so the shadow hood re-emerges over his head as his attention is momentarily drawn to someone singing. At best he believed what some would class a 'cringe worthy' he didn't really understand the term but to a certain extent understood some related it to strange public behaviour, if a collection of non-normal entities could really be classed as a public gathering.

When Epsilon made her suggestion shook his head. "Ha! Yeah... I guess that's another joke?" Irvine asked. "Most vampires I've met haven't exactly been the nicest bunch." Irvine contemplated the option of 'blood test' to himself before continuing. "Sometimes it's nice to not know the answers. Sometimes ignorance of what you could be, can protect you from the monster that maybe you are."

Max

Max was sent back by the magic shockwave “hostile life form detected request promistion to engage battle mode” as he spoke his jacket opened up reviling a large red button labeled battle mode he looked around knowing he could not press the button himself normally Dr Gero would press it when ever he needed to active battle mode

Rose

Listened to Shade and Kuro and thought for a moment before responding
“Well I have never met a heartless before and Shade doesn’t seam like he is all that violent and honestly genuinely evil beings don’t tend to admit they are evil at least not quite so openly”
She then tuned to shade before continuing
“I have magic that can help enhance your positive emotions while also helping you to resist your fears that should help you resist those darker impulses and I doubt you will be lonely at this academy”
She then looked to Kuro
“Clearly you have a lot of magic and you must know of fair few spells but you do realise that there much more efficient way to enhance your cats intelligence and to give her powers”
she then opened her bag and reached in and pulled out a book on rune magic
“There are many different runes that can help you this has all the runes I have found in all my studies” she paused for a second and tuned to the power bestowal page and showed Kuro the book
“You could use this to giver her enhance abilities such as strength speed and intelligence,this on to giver her physic powers and with them she would be able to speak to you with her mind but if you’d prefer you could use this rune to give her the power to actually talk to you or you could use this rune to give her the power to shape shift then she could give become more human like and give herself a voice box or even become a Neko you could have even give her the power to control the elements or gravity or to teleport or...” Rose took deep breath before continuing “sorry I am getting a little carried away point is you could give almost any power you could possibly want but their is a limit to how much power her body could safely hold so you would need to be carful when choosing them but I would definitely recommend doing this because you wold not have to give her a portion of your own may power to sustain her abilities”

Oshikuru

Oshikuru listened to Miarikia his eye tuned yellow as Astaroth began to awaken at the mention of there names Oshikuru closed his eye for a moment as he placed his hand on his forehead as he focused on suppressing Astaroth he looked to Miarikia his eyes now back to normal
“I know of them thanks to my connection to Astaroth I am not to worried I once fought Astaroth to a drew and I am far stronger and more experienced then I was then and those demons while powerful are no match for Astaroth”

Sabrina

Sabrina listened to the little Sin Demon and the other humans she was a little surprised at how calm they where considering they had just met a demon as well as a demonic bunny and a few feet away from them was not one not two but three mythical creatures as well as some kind of robot a few werewolf’s and some pure black thing with a skull on his head she had never seen a creature like it before she looked back to the Demon Pozuzy
“My name is Sabrina I am a voodoo priestess nice to meet you I have never met a literal embodiment of sin before although I know of a few spell to summon and or control them but I have never used any they seam to dark and requires living sacrifices and that’s not something I’m ok with”

Ash Ventri

A woman approached Ash, she had essentially just slid into the clearing out of nowhere, and then began a b-line right to him, he could tell just as she had, they were the same, both wolves, she approached in a nonthreatening manner, but they always did, never wanting you to get scared and run right off the bat. Ash felt his skin tighten further, the armor beginning to form out of sheer instinct, he wanted to just run, to just get out of dodge and not confront the other wolf at all, however just as she approached and began to speak something happened, it was like something had taken hold of her and replace the person he was looking at.

A small girl approached him as well, the one that had been riding a snake earlier, she came and introduced herself as Red and ask who was possessing the wolf. A possession, his mother had told him something about that before but not enough to claim to understand what he was looking at. His confusion was actually lowering his anxiety, and the armor that had been creeping up his hands and feet was retracting and he had to almost snap himself back to reality to reply to Red.

"Ashley, Ashley Ventri, I'm... very confused."

Ash wasn't used to people let alone so many different kinds of beings all of whom are massive or terrifying or just odd, and as much as he was scared and confused, he was feeling like he was still hidden, a footnote in this book of madness, and for now, that is exactly what he wanted, all that he had to worry about was this wolf, when this spirit releases her, what will she do, and will he have to fight already? Another of the congregation seemed to have a plan to see that scenario unfurl as what appeared to be salt was being dumped on the wolf, salt was a spiritual deterrent, or at least that is what his mother always said.

Lunar

Lunar was in the middle of her sentence when the cold that was building on her chest spread throughout her body as she began to hear a voice in her head suddenly her body began moving on its own as she began singing and dancing it didn’t tale long for her to realise she was possessed her anger build Level walked up and though some salt over her after he enchanted it some some kind of magic she could feel Soul get a little weaker Lunar began fighting back against soul as her anger continued to build her eyes tuned a deep red “GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!” As she yelled this at soul she didn’t realise that she shouted it at the top of her lungs as she did Sould would see the image of a wolfs running towards him mouth foaming and it closed in for an attack as her own soul began to fight back in an attempt to force him out

Dawn looked just about surprised as Isaiah was as one of their future classmates, the boy who had earlier been surrounded by creatures of all shapes and sizes, suddenly dumped a bag of salt onto the unfortunate woman. Her brows seemed to rise up nearly to her hairline before dropping just as suddenly, and, with a certain amount of graveness, she shook her head. “I, ah, I’m not entirely sure- I’ve never met him before. But I do know that that woman’s mind isn’t her own.” She paused, realizing that the comment had come out a bit more cryptic than she had intended, then went on to explain.

“It’s, ah. Part of my power. I can...well. Sense people. Their feelings, their...well. Who they are. Like a fingerprint. And the woman- it would be as if the color of her hair suddenly changed in seconds.” It wasn’t an award winning explanation, really, but it was all that came to mind in a time like this.

Especially after the woman began to scream at the top of her lungs, eyes glowing a sharp red.

Well. That confirmed the possession even further, at any rate.

Which made it all the more important that she did at least something to assist. Her thoughts flew to any rituals she might have picked up through the years, before stumbling onto one of her stranger cases. A few years ago, Dawn had found herself in the company of an exorcist, and about fifty ghosts swarming a uni student’s dorm, of all places. Of course, Dawn wasn’t an exorcist herself by any means- she was a wit- mage, yes, but not an exorcist. Still, it was worth a shot.

She took a deep breath, and looked over to both Isaiah and Celeste.

“I’m, ah...going to try something. Right now. To try and help her.” At that moment, her eyes seemed to glaze over, becoming little more than soap windows as her mind travelled. She reached, mentally, out to the woman, but not to her exactly. Dawn’s target was the spirit inhabiting her body.

She clung onto the soul’s thoughts, taking care not to intrude any further than she had to, and began to murmur into its mind, joining in with the woman’s assault.

’This is not your place, spirit.’ Unlike how she regularly spoke, there was no hesitation, no pause. Her “voice”, as it was, was firm, rich with resolve. ’It is time for you to move on, and leave this woman be.’

It was a long shot, yes, but it was something.

@The One@Prosaic

“Smart.” The comment held no trace of patronization- it was genuine praise on Epsilon’s part, accompanied by a smile. “I like you, kid. You seem like a real well-rounded type.” Bit awkward when it came to the whole socialization bits, but he seemed like a good kid regardless.

As the impromptu dancer suddenly began to shriek like a goddamn banshee, Epsilon turned, gave the whole salt situation a good lookover, then promptly decided that the situation seemed pretty handled and turned back to talk to Irvine. It was probably handled, at any rate. Probably.

“Probably just running into the wrong kinds of vamps, kiddo. Some of them don’t bite as much as they bark.” She chuckled a bit at her own joke, the cigarette on her lip bouncing merrily with the movement. “Don’t think finding out what you are would change you, though. Making you a ‘monster’? Bah.”

For a moment, age seemed to show in Epsilon’s eyes. The age of someone who should’ve been dead a hundred times over, had seen the rise and fall of nations. “Your blood isn’t what decides if you’re a monster or not, kid. It’s you who does it. Doesn’t matter if you’re a demon, or a gargoyle, or just some internal orgy of all the nastiest species you can think of. It’s what you wind up doing. Especially in spite of it.” And then the wisdom was gone, and Epsilon was playfully flicking Irvine’s shoulder.

“You’re a good kid. Hang onto that. World needs more good kids.” She turned to Sabrina, then, smoke trailing up from her nostril. “‘Voodoo priestess’, eh? Seem real young for that sort of commitment.” Epsilon sized the girl up. “Can’t be more than twelve, tops.”

Kuro

Kuro looked to Shade but he wasn’t convinced, but for now Shade wasn’t attacking. He looked to Rose and inspected the spells that she had. He never really thought of that before but he completely agreed it would be better.

“Interesting, I actually know all of these runes, I just never thought of them before. I’ll let Yoruichi take a good look later.”

For now, he clicked his fingers and held out his hand. Suddenly a huge book appeared in it which at the very least would of had over ten thousand pages. He smiled and opened it up, showing Rose.

“This is the Book of Magic. A book which has been passed down from generation to generation of Royal Nekos. Each and every generation adds a few spells of their own that they either learn or create. This book at least a million years old, maybe older. Nekos have been around for many years. Now, I own it.”

He smiled and teleported the book away. It would take too long to show her every page right now but he had a few spells which would speed things up.

Red

Red listened to Ash and was confused that Ash was confused. What didn’t he understand? That was when Lunar screamed out loudly and unexpectedly. It made her jump but she gave a small giggle in the end.

“Wow, that made me jump. Luckily I love jumping.”

She gave another giggle before looking back to Ash.

“Why are you confused?”

She tilted her head slightly as she stared at him.

Shade and Rose

Shade listened to Rose and cocked his head slowly. He was curious as to how she could help him, but if it was possible he’d accept it without hesitation. He smiled and nodded slowly.

“If you can help me I would be eternally grateful, but honestly I doubt it. We heartless never have happy endings.”

He sighed but kept looking at Rose.

Rose listened to Shade as she adjusted her glasses "well that's easy" Rose then picked up a few rocks she placed one rune on each one one to amplify all possible emotions the wearer feels one to enhance ones connection to positive energy allowing the weather to sense any and all positive emotions form those around him and drew strength form those emotions one to suppress and all negative emotions of the wearer and one to block out any and all negative emotions of those around him and one to enhance the wearers courage and finally she made one to enhance the flow of positive emotions between friends meaning shade would be to form strong bonds with others and would be able to sense them over long distances while still feeling and drawing strength from their positive emotions" she then pulled some sting and placed one last run on it to enhance the effects of other runes she then strung them all together to make a little necklace and handed it to Shade "there you go that should help to stay in control and if you lose it I can always make another"

Shade smiled and grabbed the necklace. He had an idea of his own however. He opened his mouth and swallowed the necklace whole. The runes shined brightly, and with Rose’s magic, he could feel them working already.

“Thank you, I can feel it working already. I’ve never felt better. I owe you. I know a heartless’s word may not mean much to you but I promise that if you ever need anything, I’ll be there. My life is now yours, I shall forever serve you.”

He bowed slowly to her and smiled brightly.

Soul

Soul watched as huge wolf head came out him in his mind perse and a voice shouted out at him. With Leval’s help as well as the other woman’s help, he was pushed out from Lunar’s body. He moved rapidly from side to side for a moment before speaking.

“Wow, apparently it is a little more than difficult to leave. Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to possess you. It was a complete accident.”

Although he slowly looked to Shela. He had heard her little pet speak just before he left. He couldn’t believe she had no powers. She had to be here for a reason.

Pozuzy

Pozuzy smiled as he listened to Sabrina, then his head rose slowly. He could sense something, someone coming. They had many sins, and he smiled widely. He could have some fun with this and he would. He turned to Sabrina and spoke quietly.

“Get ready for a show, things are about to get wild.”

He smiled once more and turned towards the entrance of the field.

Celestia

Celestia listened to Dawn and gave a few nods. That was very interesting, she turned to Isaiah before looking over to Lunar. Soul finally came out and apologised. Apparently it was all an accident.

“Interesting, there are so many different students here, each one are so fascinating. I can’t wait to learn about you all.”

She smiled and turned back to the others.

Grace

Grace watched Max and laughed at him. She found it rather funny actually. It was cute how he thought he stood a chance against her.

“You’re really cute, thinking you stand a chance against me. Trust me honey, that Battle Mode won’t save you so I won’t press your little button, I don’t want to break you.”

She smiled at him confidently, certain that she would be able to destroy him.

Shela

Shela smiled at Leval then watch him pour salt on someone. The entire situation left her confused. What was going on exactly? For now she just kept watching from a distance with Drake.

Prince Ali Sekhemi

Sekhemi arrived shortly after on the huge elephant. As he did guards paraded on the field, blowing horns as loud as possible. Then seventy five golden camels came on through the field after that thirty five purple peacocks followed. Next was ninety five Persian white monkeys. Finally one hundred slaves were dragged through the field. All the while the guards were singing and dancing. So much so that they pushed Shela out the way knocking her to the ground not even attempting to pick her up. They just outright ignored her and with so much going on she would be trampled on if something was not done. When the whole song and dance was over Sekhemi got off his elephant and walked in front of everyone.

"Where's the headmaster? He better not keep me waiting otherwise somebody is going to get hurt, very quickly."

He ignored everyone on the field, not caring about one single person at all. No, he cared about himself not these worthless scum.

Zalek took off from the valley that had been his whole world up until now. He was excited to be able to see what the world beyond his valley was like, but more importantly he was eager to learn to control his powers so he would be able to protect his valley when the time came.

After a long flight, he saw the meeting place. He could have gone straight to the academy, but he wanted the chance to meet some of the other students first. What he saw was the most diverse assortment of beings he had ever seen. There were several humans and humanoids, but also a pegasus, an ice phoenix, a two headed dragon, and several other beings that he did not recognize. Seeing the two headed dragon, he decided to glide down next to his kindred who seemed to be in company with the ice phoenix, a robot, and one of the beings that Zalek was unfamiliar with. He inclined his head politely to the assembly. "Greetings," he said. "I am Zalek. Who might all of you be?"

Leval Lamrue

@PharaohAtem@The One@EchoicChamber

Apparently the salt had been of some help as after he poured it on the werewolf/Soul’s head, it seemed as the werewolf regained some measure of control, screaming for the spirit to get out. Leval could not sense the assistance that the female mage had given with her own abilities since she had reached out mentally, otherwise he would have thanked her. Soul exited the body and apologized for the action stating that was completely accidental. This mollified his anger at the spirit somewhat, but he still raised a warning finger to Soul.

”Soul, never do that to a being with its own will again. None of the students or their companions here. That is a massive violation of another person.”

Leval turned around to check on Shela as well as to figure out what the music he heard was coming from. A scene straight of a Disney movie hit his eyes. More than a hundred people and animals in fine decor or obviously enslaved met his eyes, juxtaposed with the singing and dancing of the guards. However, what attracted his attention was Shela being knocked down roughly to the ground by one of the guards. She had fallen awkwardly and was in danger of being trampled to death by the approaching horde. Leval reacted without further thought. He slammed the bottom of his staff into the ground at a heavy slant, then with a brief mental command extended his staff forward at a lightning fast speed. He kept hold with one hand, clinging to the staff as he rocketed forward to the girl. Using his momentum, he used his free hand to scoop both Shela and her lizard. With another mental command, his staff resumed its normal size, shrinking as fast as it had extended. He rolled forward using his arms to protect girl from the environment and danger.

His momentum and rolling allowed to move past the large horde of people, avoiding a very painful death by trampling. However, his head scraped up against a rock as he moved, tearing a large gash into his forehead above his right eye. He stopped rolling forward, gently placing the girl on the ground and checking for any injuries. "Are you alright??" As he checked her. A princely figure strolled out, clothed in splendor, threatening the group if he did not see the headmaster quickly.

Already upset from Soul’s actions, Leval's adrenaline had moved into overtime as well as his sense of indignation. He rose taking a few steps away from Shela, standing in front of her to shield her from any further harm. He rose his staff into the air with one hand, spinning it in his fingers three times, before slamming the hook of the staff into the ground. Countless invisible threads of magic burst out of the end of the staff reaching the Prince and entourage shifting the appearance of all. The golden camels now appeared emaciated beast with rough patchy fur, the peacocks resembled and sounded like wild turkeys, the slaves were now clothes in the clothes of nobles, while the guards wore nothing but undergarments and dirt, the white clean monkeys now grey and covered in filth. As for the prince, Leval cast the weave of his illusion to change the princes fine clothes into that the slaves had worn. In addition, he appeared to be covered in a brown substance that smelled of elephant feces. Leval leaned against his staff, breathing heavily from the magic, having emptied out near his entire mana reserve for the major Weave.

Carmen Chavana, Hakeem Ansari, and Mr. Smith

10 KM South of the Ordinary Mythical Academy
Entrance Theme

Emerging from the treeline was a low-flying Black Hawk helicopter, grey and unmarked. It flew fast, and with precision and grace. With no pilots inside, one could immediately conclude that said Black Hawk was a Helodrone, or an unmanned helicopter. However, while it was piloted by an AI, there were indeed live passengers inside the military helicopter that made its way through the countryside.

Sitting across from an Arab man and a Hispanic woman was a middle-aged white man who leaned back in his suit and tie. "I know you guys haven't even had a few days to rest since your last mission but this one was an opportunity that we couldn't let slip." The man, known to his listeners as Mr. Smith, spoke within the relatively quiet helicopter. "We've got wind that one of our targets is going to the Ordinary Mythical Academy, outside the protection of his country of origin. It's the perfect place to eavesdrop, and if done correctly, the perfect time to strike if necessary."

The Hispanic woman spoke up. "Who's our target?" She asked, adjusting her shoulder holster and compact parachute bag. Wearing only a gray t-shirt and black tactical trousers, Carmen Chavana wasn't really much in terms of being armed. "Is he important enough to ship us off with minimal equipment and not even briefing us before we head out?"

Mr. Smith smirked a little. "As a matter of fact, yes." He said with a shit-eating grin, revealing his vampire fangs. Pulling out an electronic tablet and bringing up a screen, he showed both of his pupils a rather detailed dossier. "This is your target, and his name is Prince Ali Sekhemi. Practically the dictator of Egypt, he's usurped the throne from his parents some time ago through methods of assassination. He conveniently denies this, but if he's the type who would murder his own parents for power, you know this man means business. He's already ravaged Libya and Sudan for petty reasons, and he's currently setting his sights on Israel, Jordan and Iraq. Not only do they help fund us, they are also key allies in our missions in the Middle East. Not to mention that Prince Ali Sekhemi has already committed a multitude of war crimes and most nations in the UN all want him arrested and/or dead at this point."

The Arab man perked up once Mr. Smith mentioned Iraq. "Wait, he's targeting Iraq?" Hakeem Ansari asked timidly, leaning forward, wearing a similar outfit to Carmen. "But why?"

"God knows." Mr. Smith shrugged before it clicked in his mind. "Oh, you actually have some personal investment...?"

Hakeem leaned back and folded his arms. "I went to his country, yes. I witnessed firsthand of what he was capable of. Allowing him to ravage Iraq, my homeland, would cause more damage than any terrorist group ever could." Hakeem's eyes glared at the portrait of Sekhemi. "He's responsible for the death of a close friend of mine. I'd be more than happy to take that bastard out."

The suited vampire raised a finger. "Now now, remember how we roll." Mr. Smith shot a look at Hakeem. "Yes, feelings like that should motivate us... but we can't let them control us. Mission objectives always take priority. Understood?"

Hakeem nodded begrudgingly. "Yes, sir."

Mr. Smith nodded. "Good." He thought for a moment before smiling. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot." He pulled out two chocolate bars. "These are for the last mission."

Carmen took the Milky Way bar, looking at it before looking at Mr. Smith. "Really? Destroy a drug cartel ran by a psychotic vampire lord and I get a Milky Way in return?" Carmen sighed and shook her head, smirking a little to indicate her false annoyance. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm still with you guys."

Hakeem shrugged. "I don't know about you, but nearly getting killed by a psychotic vampire lord and a bunch of ruthless Cartel forces is totally worth suffering through for a Milky Way." Hakeem said sarcastically with a smile. "Trademarked." He tradesnarked™.

"Still, you guys did a fantastic job down there." Mr. Smith then looked back at his dossier. "In regards to your current mission, your job is to infiltrate the Ordinary Mythical Academy, masquerading as students. The reason why I asked you to get a parachute, Carmen, is because their facilities are built upon a massive floating island."

"W-what?" Carmen gulped before making her compact parachute was packed and donned on tight. "Really?"

"Yep." Mr. Smith said casually before continuing. "Even though it is a masquerade, you are still considered full students there." Mr. Smith pulled out two invitation letters from OMA, and handed them to Carmen and Hakeem. "Those will be your ticket in. We pulled a whole lot of strings just to get you guys in, so don't lose 'em." Mr. Smith then turned back to the dossier. "For now, after you infiltrate the school, you are to attend as normal and follow the rules. You are to give us a full report at the end of each day with anything and everything you observe from our target. We will be using this information to help out the rest of Galm Team, who is currently flying to Egypt to help prepare coalition forces in Operation Torchsnuff. Any information we can get from him could help us on the intelligence front for Torchsnuff, so we would know where and how to strike." Mr. Smith explained. "However, while you will submit your report through an encrypted frequency so only our AIs can pick them up, you will be receiving your orders through the number station 84.92. You will know them when you hear them." Mr. Smith explained. "Once the job is done, you're free to continue attending the school, provided that you haven't been kicked out after mission completion." Mr. Smith then pointed towards the large duffel bags that Carmen and Hakeem each have. "Inside these duffel bags are what you will need for this assignment. It contains the dossiers of most attendees and staff of OMA, and I stress most. Some people you will see, including the Headmaster, are intelligence black holes, so I suggest you use your best judgement when you encounter them. The bags also contains a variety of equipment needed for the mission. OMA should allow you to bring your 9mm handguns in, but just in case if they don't, we have disassembled and concealed parts for Galil SARs inside the hidden pockets if you need them." Mr. Smith thought for a moment before speaking again. "The rest of the mission details will be in the coded documents that are printed off as travel brochures. Since there's a high probability of frequence monitoring, you'll be on your own for the rest of the mission. If something goes wrong, we packed some E-Flares for you, and the Helodrones will come to your rescue if necessary." Mr. Smith looked between them before smiling a little. "Any questions?"

Carmen looked to Mr. Smith. "I heard about the target being a meta. What are his abilities?"

"The target has the ability to control fire and darkness. While we don't know the exact details of his capabilities, as those who tried to catch any record of it have been incinerated, we do recommend being near a body of water if you are to engage him, or at least go near him." Mr. Smith said. "He's got the ego to rival that of Kanye West, so stroke it as much as you can if you ever have a social encounter. And try not to shit your pants too."

Carmen gulped and nodded. "Got it."

Hakeem was thinking about things before turning to Mr. Smith. "What kind of students attend this academy?" He asked, genuinely interested.

"Oh... they're really special. And I mean it." Mr. Smith chuckled. "Not in like the... mentally challenged variety, but more of like... you wouldn't even believe they exist."

"Hon, you chow down on my neck on the regular and we just killed a vampire druglord two days ago." Carmen said, deadpan. "I'm pretty sure we can handle this."

Mr. Smith shrugged. "Alright, if you say so." Seeing how there are no more questions, he looked outside. There was nothing but clouds and sky where they were at now, as the helicopter had gained altitude while they were talking. "We're almost there. We'll be dropping you off at the facility itself. Follow all instructions of that letter, and try not to draw any attention to yourselves. Feel free to make friends too, they might help you take the target out if they're brave enough." Mr. Smith leaned back and relaxed. "Should be a piece of cake."

Large Field, Ordinary Mythical Academy

The Black Hawk helicopter was getting close to the floating isles. The AI turned the helicopter to the side so the living passengers within could get a good look at the massive isles, and see them in their majestic glory. The islands were large marvels, looking like giant pieces of land carved out from the earth. There were countless of waterfalls and such, the water falling being somewhat steamy, turning into clouds. There were trees, even many buildings on this floating landmass. It was a sight to behold.

"Wow..." Carmen looked upon the floating islands with wonder, seeing them from within the helicopter. "What keeps them floating like that?"

Mr. Smith chuckled. "Magic I guess. I dunno." The vampire shrugged, looking at the islands. "The islands are home to a variety of different biomes and places. This landmass is home to haunted forests, caves, castles, deserts, mazes, lakes, castles, ruins... you name it. This is pretty much the Isle of Adventure if I ever saw any." Mr. Smith said. "So I suggest if you ever venture outside the campus, for whatever reason, I suggest you bring your Galils with you. We kind of don't know what's in those places ourselves." Mr. Smith explained as the helicopter flew in above the island.

For those inside the main hall, they would hear the sound of a helicopter arriving. If anyone were to investigate, they'd find an unmarked but also unarmed military helicopter flying overhead, heading towards the large field nearby. The helicopter itself didn't seem to be doing much, just flying around. Until it hovered over a nearby field. It soon lowered, and landed at the field without much of an issue.

Landing zone clear. You're free to drop. A digitized male voice said over the intercom, belonging to the AI that flew the helicopter.

Carmen and Hakeem grabbed their duffel bags and were just about to head out the door that slid open, before Carmen was stopped by Mr. Smith. "Hey, you mind topping me off?" Mr. Smith asked.

Carmen groaned and rolled her eyes. "Ugh, fine." She dropped her bag and sat down next to Mr. Smith, who promptly bit into her neck. "Ack!" She yipped out in pain, and once Mr. Smith began suckling, she closed her eyes and gave a low moan. "Nnnng..." She blushed just a little as he drew blood from her neck, the vampire finishing up quickly.

"Thanks." Mr. Smith said after withdrawing from her, taking out a sanitizer wipe from his pocket to help heal up and disinfect Carmen's tender bite wound. "Your blood's good when I can get it." He said, wiping up Carmen's neck, leaving no trace of the bite behind. "Alright, good luck out there, both of you!" Mr. Smith waved them goodbye as they hopped off the helicopter.

Carmen and Hakeem waved goodbye to Mr. Smith once they were on the ground, and soon after they cleared out, the Black Hawk took off, and like that, sped away from the area, only to disappear into the sky and below the floating isles. Carmen and Hakeem, holding onto their dufflebags, sighed and looked to each other.

"This is gonna be one helluva ride." Carmen said, looking to Hakeem before smirking a little.

Hakeem turned to Carmen before smirking a little himself. "You know you're shit at hiding it."

"What?"

"You're into getting bitten like that. Even by men." Hakeem said with a soft chuckle. "You enjoy it."

"What!? I do not!" Carmen hit Hakeem on the shoulder playfully. "It just feels okay is all..."

"Bull. Shit." Hakeem chuckled, walking towards the Grand Hall. "Both of your ex-girlfriends were vampires from PS. Didn't think you had it in you to open yourself up to some Edward Cullens too, huh?"

Carmen followed him. "Screw you, buddy. I dated them because they were cute and I enjoyed their company. Not because they were vampires."

Hakeem rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, if that makes you sleep at night." Hakeem looked to Carmen. "Trust me, I can see it written all over your face. Even if you have lots of restraint, you get lots of pleasure from it." Hakeem grinned ear to ear. "You can't lie to me, you know."

Carmen groaned. "Ugh, fine! I get lots of pleasure from feeding to vampires, okay? Now will you shut up?"

Hakeem sighed happily. "Eh, nah." He smirked. "I enjoy watching you suffer."

Carmen hit Hakeem on the shoulder again. "Fuck you."

"I love you too." Hakeem chuckled, telekenetically pushing Carmen forward a little.

They soon arrived at the Grand Hall, and once they arrived there, they both looked at the three students who were there. Feasting their eyes upon a rather peculiar looking witch (Miarikia), a man who didn't seem right (Oshikuru), and someone who looked a bit like a Paladin (Sky). They didn't seem too bad, but hearing the man and the witch casually discuss demonic stuff made them just a little uncomfortable. They stood in the corner by the entrance, trying to look not too noticable. Even then, Carmen thought the Grand Hall was quite impressive, but she kept her guard up.

At Dawn's explanation of her abilities, he did start to believe her about the possession. He figured that if any person knew what was going on then it would be someone who could see into others heads. Though there was an itch of discomfort in the back of his mind about the prospect, could she see into his head too? He knew that she probably could. There was something invasive about a power like that, though with Dawn's polite nature, he was sure that she knew that.

As she turned her focus onto the possessed woman, he watched carefully. It was interesting to think that ghosts or spiritual entities might exist somehow. He had never really thought about it, when the fae died, their spirits didn't linger. They had types of fae that were very ghost-like but they didn't really have ghosts. How odd it was that one would want to go to school, he wouldn't have expected it.

When, seemingly, the woman was freed of its presence, he smiled to Dawn. "I didn't even know ghosts existed, this is all very strange." he said, it was something to think about. "The Fae don't really have spirits, or at least I've never heard it mentioned seriously. We have wraith-like creatures but that's obviously not the same-"

He was cut off by the voice of a boy that had arrived into the clearing. The boy's arrival was something out of a movie, it was very odd to watch and it confused the kelpie even more. He was starting to wonder why he'd been so curious about other people, they were all obviously a little insane. He didn't like the attitude of this young man, it reminded him of the court royals. Especially Unseelie royals.

Arrogance was clear to see, it took a special amount of arrogance to stroll in here with so much flair. It should have been impressive. Someone who demanded so many eyes with his presence should have awed him, he instead found himself feeling very repulsed. Royals, they always thought that they were better than everyone else. They always needed to be the most this or the most that.

He watched as the prince demanded to know the whereabouts of the headmaster. He was practically threatening them with physical harm and as much as the water horse loved a good tussle, he wasn't really in the mood. He wanted to give the young man a piece of his mind but he also wanted to leave this one alone. Luckily for him, it was then that the presumed human, the one with the salt, slammed a staff into the earth.

What he saw was like glamour in a way, threads of magic that altered the appearance of the noble. The prince was suddenly in threadbare clothing and his servants were dressed to the nines. His elaborate and beautiful entourage of animals were now suddenly very ugly and retchid looking creatures. It was an impressive show of power. Isaiah found himself liking the human with the staff, he was certainly entertaining.

"Now, that was pretty interesting." he said to Dawn, voice hinting excitement at the display. "I didn't think I'd get to see so much so soon."
