Always worth the try at this point, especially as we are so early in on our adventure. Sets a temp for later, often if such a thing is practical in the first place or to be kept in with the character. I admit, certainly have "found" more elements of my character's personality and technique through all of this.
@0 Azzy 0 That will be your action, but yes! You can force feed a certain ally some berries! XD I believe Jacoby was down to -4, if that helps you determine how many berries you want to give.
@rush99999 Okay, I’ve looked it up just now, and you’re partially right.
“Massive damage can kill you instantly. When damage reduces you to 0 hit points and there is damage remaining, you die if the remaining damage equals or exceeds your hit point maximum”
So, right now, Jacoby is at 0 HP. But, negative HP does still exist in a way.
Falling Unconscious If damage reduces you to 0 hit points and fails to kill you, you fall unconscious. This unconsciousness ends if you regain any hit points.
Death is a strange quasi-state now where you are at zero hit points, unconscious, and rolling to stabilize and awaken in d4 hours or die. Unless of course you roll a natural 20 and suddenly you are back up at 1. So this said the positive news is, is that he isn't as bad off, but the bad news is, is that he is still very much dying.
I had a window of opportunity that lasted just long enough, @Guardian Angel Haruki. All for the better as it were, to which I am certainly not disappointed with.
The one positive in all of this is, is we still have one, technically two, captive bandits, @Cu Chulainn. That is significantly more than we had at one point, although now it might just be an effort of wrangling the other two, assuming they aren't trying to murder us yet and convince us the trouble is hardly worth it.
I wasn't counting the other two, outside Warren and the entangled bandit, @Guardian Angel Haruki. I am not quite so sure they will last long! We will see in time.
