It's time. Jimbob "Dread" the Lawman is ready for what's out there. He's brought his trusty Shackles in case he needs to make a quick arrest.

He turns a careful eye to his sidebag.

Jimbob packs...(Pick one)
>BANDAGES, to heal wounds during the journey ahead.
>WHISKEY, to steal herself against the horrors that await her.
>DYNAMITE, to throw at them b*stards when they rear their ugly heads.


Now, they don't call him Dread for nothing. Jimbob's got one neat little trick that's a bit of a doozy..

>Iron Will: Use 1 Determination to cancel a Darkness card on a roll of 4, 5, or 6. Limit once per turn.
>Frontier Justice: Use 1 Determination to add +3 Damage to one of your Hits. Limit once per Hit.
>Strong Leadership: Use 1 Determination to Heal 1 HP and 1 Sanity from yourself and every other Hero on your Map Tile - Gain 5 XP for every HP / Sanity healed from other Heroes this way.

You meet your companions at the crossroads to discuss the available missions available locally, and their are some... quirky characters among the bunch. You haven't met a couple of these people, brought in by friends of friends or just local adventurers like yourself who happened to catch wind of this little arrangement. After much discussion, jobs are decided on. In the end, Dan, Harold and Jamie group up for a new challenge. Something has sent the Targa Pylons into overload and it's your job to find out why.

As you approach the mine where the issue is supposed to be origionating from, you see two figures squabbling in the doorway - something about dynamite and a resting place filled with monsters in their last adventure? Harold's eyes widen and he momentarily stops in his tracks.

One of them is his father, the wanted criminal Hawkeye Horace.
The Targa Plateau

+ Heroes recover a DT on a roll of 1 or 2.
- Frigid Cold Move rolls of 1 do 1 automatic damage with no defense roll.

Everyone who can regains a DT.
Dan has 2 movement this turn.
Hawkeye Harold has 3 movement this turn.
Hawkeye Horace has 2 movement this turn.
Jamie has 1+1 movement this turn. She takes 1 damage!
Tim has 2 movement this turn.


Actions:
You may always move if you have movement available.
Saloon Girls passively heal at the end of their turn.
You may use your items and abilities in appropriate context.
You may choose to SCAVENGE or EXPLORE THE MINE. You may perform one of these actions once per round.
>SCAVENGE: Each map tile can only be scavenged once total. This means if another party member has scavenged the tile you are on, it cannot be scavenged again. Scavenging successfully can yield up to three results. If you scavenge, you cannot explore the mine this round.
>EXPLORE THE MINE: At the end of each map tile is an arrow. When standing on this arrow, you may explore into the next room, if you have not done another action this turn. You will immediately see the layout of the next room. If you explore, at the end of the round, a discovery will be revealed... aka what is in that room.
Note: The "arrow" map tiles count effects from both rooms.

Scrooge, Scarecrow and Xander split from your previous team - with admittedly, a little bit of relief - and decide to team up with a strong-jawed, no nonsense type of man who goes by the moniker "Dread".

He leads you to the Mine that the four of you have agreed to explore - hopefully, a straightforward looting mission for sweet sweet darkstone supplies.
