I can't figure out Pokemon Showdown for the life of me. I know I need to, but....I'm just not that worried about it.

I'll admit, unless your sitting down on a laptop or computer, Pokemon Showdown can be a bit overwhelming. But it is a great tool if you can figure it out. I'm sure you'll get it. :)

We don't use the bottom one. Only the top. But I don't clean it, I do other things while another person does the rotisserie.

@Balthazar007 Does the 6-8 group requirement hold for the Pokemon world trainers? And I take it that we'll be able to fill groups with npc's as well?

I honestly don't see why he would say no, though I am sure he is leaning more towards the PCs sticking together and focusing on us more, I know we will break into groups of two after boot camp, but when the shit hits the fan (and I am sure it will) we will need the bonds we built in boot camp to bring us together and stop whatever big baddie we will have to face lol

@Cerces22 Makes sense, but if I'm going to characterize correctly, Dana's a complete lone wolf. I can get Camden to stick around and be social, but Dana's a no-go unless it's strictly required (not that she's "social" then, but eh).

But whipping up my post right now. Dana's going to head to the city's industrial fringe to grind on some Togedemaru, and Camden's going to try to catch a Cherubi at the park. I'll write Camden's post so that he's with a group, so anyone can chime in if they're heading to the park as well (dunno if the park is close to the forest, but hey, there's an idea).

I know the feeling, Lizs personality is the same way, she has a hard time opening up to most people due to her past. And sounds good, IDK what to do with Circe yet, she might hunt a Mima, she likes the Pokemon don't often think about and that have the same energy as her, hence the want for Clefairy, and a Mr. mime who performs?? That's all her lol

@Cerces22 Mr. Mime likes crowds, so dunno if that's going to be around the park. Maybe in the city? But, that reminds me: isn't Mr. Mime the evolved form of Mime Jr.? So that'd make it and Jigglypuff (Iggybuff) the only evolved forms on the list.

So the way this works...

You can only catch baby Pokemon if you were to find the Pokemon Nest for that species of Pokemon (something that will be introduced later). Mr. Mime is still considered the base form, and Mime Jr. is a step below that.

Also, say you were to go after a Rattata. Rattata evolve at level 20. Meaning that you are allowed to run into a level 20 Raticate right now.

I'm thinking I'm gonna go after the bug type in the remote forest. @Balthazar007 Could Forest perhaps run into a Growlithe at some point?

All the Pokemon are already placed. I can't remember if Growlithe is close to one of the HQs, but I think so, but no guarantees.

@Balthazar007 Am I allowed temporary control of the NPCs you introduce (ie the factory workers)? I'm thinking of having Dana interact with them a bit, but if I'm not in control of them then my post for her is going to be super short. Maybe NPCs can just be batoned off between you and the users? Or would you prefer that they're controlled solely by you?

@Cerces22 Ah, just wanted to make sure, since handing off control of a NPC could be kinda weird if he had prior plans. But if that's the case, then I'm going to go ahead haha

@Balthazar007 So, I'm going to assume the Pokemon world trainers have been given Pokeballs too by this point - if not, I'll edit and have a random NPC Earth trainer try to catch the Jigglypuff instead.

@LuckyBlackCat the 0th post IC lists 3 Pokeballs each for all characters, including the Pokemon world trainers, so I'm pretty sure they have.

//edit: meant to capitalize "Pokeball" but instead changed it to "Pokemon." Clearly need more than 5-6 hrs sleep per day.
