Lydia Weaver

Location: Her house
Interacting With: Robert

Lydia heard Jenna talking through the wall, but couldn't hear what she was talking about. She thought about going over there and maybe asking her, but she got a glimpse of something on the windowsill. Smiling, she looked over at the little kitten who was there, and a moment later she watched him shift into Robert. The kid was nice enough, and she had grown to care for him a lot over the past few days. "Hey there Robert," she said, still smiling.

She heard the knock at her door, and Jenna's voice coming from the other side. With Robert there, she wasn't too sure if she should open the door at all. Glancing over at Robert, she walked over the door before opening it up slightly, so she could pop through but not enough so she'd be able to see Robert. "That's great Jenn, so you finally found him?" she said, giving her a smile.

@BlueSky44 @Morose "How are you today?" Robert asked giving her a slight smile, then he heard the knock on the door and heard Jenna's voice he quickly shifted back and quickly made a run for it. But not under the bed, but straight towards the door, running past Jenna's legs and off towards some other place in their house to hide somewhere else.

@Dragoknighte @Infamous Auror Mrs. Walker nodded as she walked over towards the kitchen and started to get to work on the pancakes, as she set the batter on the stove as it started to cook. Her attention then went over and started to get the coffee ready as well, as the coffee was brewing up, she set down four strips of bacon down onto the next stove as well. Her attention turned towards Harry, letting out a slight sigh and nodded. "If something important does come up i'd like to know right away." She said softly as the coffee finished brewing, and grabbed a mug. Pouring it down she made her way towards the table setting it down on the table, Mrs Walker turned to look at Taylor there for a moment. "Be a dear and flip the bacon and pancakes over for me." She said towards her, before turning her attention towards Harry once more. "So aside from the grim news lately are you enjoying the town?" She finally asked.

@Infamous Auror School was closed for the day for Declan, so he pretty much had the whole day to himself and the ride to town was pretty easy as well. There were a few cars on the road as they drove past Declan, the road to the café was pretty much clear he'd be able to see a van in front of the café as well.

@rivaan The drive over towards Halsey's shop was pretty quick, inside the room was filled with various kinds of ingredients and the occasional odd artifact of some kind. Behind the counter was Halsey the town's only witch it looked like she was brewing something up, when she heard the door opening. "Ah, was just about to give you a call." She said before walking into the back room behind the store before pulling out a box and slid it across the counter. "Here is your order, wasn't easy to come by mind you." She said.

Abe nodded slightly towards Kosara. "See ya laters then wee one." Abe said and then grumbled slightly as he was kissed on the cheek and waved her off as he watched his niece walking off to that witches store in town. He disliked witches quiet a bit, but not as much as werewolves or demons. As long as he had been in town Halsey seemed to be a nice enough witch that didn't cause any problems in town, Abe walked over and pulled up a seat.

He would occasionally eye Olivia in he corner he was sitting in, but still didn't do anything as Abe pulled out a menu and started to look through the items. As a young waitress walked over he then pointed out towards what he wanted. "Id like a coffee, little cream and sugar, and some scrambled eggs." Abe asked, as the waitress nodded she walked off to take the order, he leaned back in the seat as his eyes wondered around seeing the FBI agent there.

Jeanna pulled out her laptop, she looked up and gave Kosara a slight nod before turning her attention back towards the task at hand, as she started to type away at her computer. When a waitress came up the same one that took Abe's order, as Jeanna quickly closed up her laptop giving her a slight smile. "Just a coffee please." She said, once she was gone Jeanna went back to typing away at her computer while looking at her work.

She'd look at those that were in the room for a few seconds, seeing a few of the younger ones talking to Finley, the girl who tipped her off. But she didn't know what to think just yet as Jeanna continued her work, then a few seconds later the waitress came back with the cup of coffee.

"You know I really hate beng called that." Olivia said with a slight sigh, they still weren't friends, but at least they were somewhat talking civilized now. As she looked over towards Robin, he wouldn't be able to hear what they were saying at all, as she threw a balled up napkin at him to get his attention. She gave him a slight smirk, and motioned towards Finley so that he could get his order in before her. "You can order first my friend." Olivia said towards Robin. She looked over at Abe who was still staring her down occasionally which made her roll her eyes at him.

Olivia looked over at the outside as she noticed Miranda starting to pull into the parking lot of the café, she smiled, she was glad that she told her friend about her little curse. She didn't trust people that often as Olivia leaned back in her seat and waved at Miranda to get her attention. As the manager came out from the back of the kitchen where his office was. "Fin, you can clock out now if you'd like." He said before turning back to his work in the office. "Before you go, Fin just a coffee please?" Olivia asked giving her a slight smile.

Harry Kingsfield

Location:

Harry wished he could assure Mrs. Walker that he would tell her if anything important came up, but several things that he'd deemed as such had already turned up, and he hadn't revealed anything to them. After the case had concluded, he resolved that he'd tell the couple what he'd discovered, but the last thing he needed on his hands was some kind of familial break down to deal with as he juggled solving the mundane and supernatural aspects of this case. It really did pain him a bit having to keep them in the dark, but he had convinced himself it was for the best. The situation really did not need additional, unnecessary layers of complication added on top of what was already there.

"I wish I could tell you much, but I've spent more time on the reservation out of town, than in Red Lake proper," Harry told the innkeeper. He took the fork and knife in hand, already preparing himself for the meal to come. "But from what I've seen of the town, it's quite a nice town. But there's a lot here that's hidden beneath the surface." He casually mentioned. To others, such an observation would probably be given more weight, but Harry just tossed it out as a matter of fact. He'd been to many towns like Red Lake, and none of them were the simple hamlets such places were made out to be. People weren't nearly so simple that a town, any town wouldn't have a lot of hidden complications.

"Actually," Harry began, returning mentally to the first question Mrs. Walker had asked him that day. "You wouldn't happen to know if Riley ever had an interest in any kind of obscure topic would you? Something like alchemy, ghosts or Native American cultures?" He didn't see anything of the sort when he went through her room, so he doubted that her mother would be able to confirm anything of the sort. But, if as a child she really liked Ouija boards or something, it could make his job figuring out how everything fit together somewhat easier.

Finley Alestair

Location: Cafe

Finley wasn't expecting the traffic that came in, but she was an expert. As the orders came in, Finley took a minute to take a deep breath before she got to work. The coffees were easy, it was the added bits like cappuccinos and espresso that were more difficult. However, she was a coffee connoisseur. She easily got the orders to the counter for the other waitress to deliver. She set Olivia's coffee in front of her and finished the other orders at the counter, along with sending food orders to the kitchen to be made. Once done, she was sure she hit a new record.

She walked back to Olivia, "There ya go. On the house." It was the least she could do, given all that occurred between the two. She started cleaning up the various spills she made while completing all the orders as she waited for Declan to stop by. She glanced at the other customers, unsure as to why most of them decided today to stop by, but she wasn't about to deny business in any form. It paid her bills.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Halsey's shop

“You know, I've always enjoyed your shop.” Kosara said as she had entered the place. She had a little bit of a thing for stores that handled stock like this. Rare ingredients that ordinary people didn't even know what they were or that they existed, old artifacts and trinkets of dubious history that could prove invaluable in certain situations. In fact this has been a thing she enjoyed since her old crush in high school. She was also the one who got her into magic and witchcraft studies. 'Good times~' She smiled, recalling the past. Sometimes she regretted the way that relationship ended. Couldn't be helped though, family matters.

“Hey, I wouldn't have ordered it if it was easy to find.” Kosara replied with sly giggle and looked at Halsey. She then proceeded to pull her wallet and pulled the money they had agreed on... in cash. Luckily being a good author paid good money too. With that handled she slid the box over to her and ran a finger across it's edge.” Good, this will do real nicely for what I have in mind for it. You as always confirm the value of your services.” She smiled and took the sealed ingredient, before heading towards the front door. “ Thank you, Halsey, I will drop by when I need something else again, but if you wish we can always go for a coffee one of these days.” She said.

Robin Marshall

Location: The Café
Interacting With: Finley Alestair, Olivia Johnson

Knowing full well it was annoying order to make, Robin asked for something different that he used to get when he was in the city: "A soy latte, please." He busied himself by picking out a few of the sugar packets in advance, as well as one of the little birchwood stirring rods that he had a bad habit of playing with until they broke. The girl Findley (no, there wasn't a 'd' in that name, was there?) finished serving the waiting customers, including himself, with admirable speed. Though he supposed that was the side-effect of nearing the end of her shift, as he found out shortly after.

When he received his coffee, thanking both the barista and then Olivia – "Johnson, you're a star. If you ever lose your keys, just let me know." – before deposited all the loose change that was in his pocket, which wasn't much, into the tip-jar.

Now to begin the laborious process of stirring in all that sugar. He leaned on the edge of a nearby free table to do so, and – partially as small-talk, partially a release of his own inner thoughts – mused aloud, "You know, say what you want about the murders and all, but isn't Red Lake a lot busier than it used to be?" Robin regretted it the moment he opened his mouth. Perhaps not the best topic of conversation.

Miranda Burke

Location: café Interacting with: Robin Marshall@McHaggis,Olivia Johnson@Nallore:

Miranda had the engine ticking over for a few moments while she sorted herself out in the car, the weather was still crap so she quickly grabbed her jacket once she turned everything off and climbed the car swinging her jacket over her head as she locked the vehicle up. A smile spread across her features when she noticed Oli was in the café waving through the window.
It got her attention and Miranda for a moment waved back before she quickly ran inside the café to get back into a dry environment. She noticed that a guy was sitting with her at table, both with drinks, wait… Was that Robin? God it has been a while since she last saw him around town, it was quite surprising sight to see as she walked over to the table they were at.

“Robin?... No way, it’s certainly been a while.” Miri began saying as she looked over to Oli. “Got room for your girl come sit with?” She asked not wanting to be rude in just jumping into a seat at the table in case they were having a conversation already. She wondered brought Robin back into town? Although it was not uncommon for him to come and go.

Lydia Weaver

Location: Her house
Interacting With: Robert and Jenna

Lydia was going to respond to him, but he already had taken off. "Crap, Robert come back here!" she said as she saw the little red tabby cat streak past them. She opened the door all the way, not even caring that Jenna was standing there. "Come on Robert, it's alright, no need to be scared." This was not going to be easy. The only reason she had found him that first day when he had shifted was because she had seen where he had gone, now she was looking for a needle in a haystack practically.

She moved past Jenna out into the hallway, and she started searching around for him. "Hey Jenn? You wouldn't by chance help me find that little red tabby kitten that just went racing past would you?" she asked her cousin as she looked around for him. He had to be around there somewhere, and she had hoped that if he did run, he would have ran under her bed, but no. Robert just had to run out into the rest of the house, making it difficult to find him.

Location: B&B
Interactions: Mrs. Walker { @Nallore }

Taylor had been busy most the morning since she arrived on site making prep for the day's work. Hadn't been too busy of a morning, in Taylor's opinion. It was nice, for a change. Normally she was used to running around the kitchen with her head cut off. At the moment, she had been cutting up onions with the slicer, and her eyes were beginning to water and burn. Squeezing her eyes shut tight, she grit her teeth softly and thought to herself, 'Why don't we soak these things in cold water before cutting them? This wouldn't be a problem if we did.' Taylor shook her head and rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand, blinking away the tears spilling down from the corners of her eyes.

Mrs. Walker's voice slightly startled her. Turning a soft shade of red, Taylor simply nodded and muttered, "Yes ma'am, I sure can." 'Definitely better than doing this,' she thought to herself as her gaze crossed from Mrs. Walker's face to the detective's. All she knew about him was that he was the P.I. hired by the Walkers to find out information about Riley. What would he do if he knew Riley was still alive? What would they all do? 'Shit. It'd send everyone into a panic, that's what it'd do.'

Taylor couldn't help but overhear the detective asking about Riley and her interests. She wanted to hear more, but she also didn't want to appear rude and seem like she was earhustling on their conversation. Which, in all reality, she was. They just wouldn't know she wasn't out of ear shot. Taylor walked over to the pan where the four pieces of bacon were seering, flipping them over with a fork gently as they sizzled and popped in their self-made grease. She stepped over to the pancakes and flipped those as well, keeping an open ear to the conversation a few feet away.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: 052 Forrester Drive

Jenna was biting back a smile and she nodded. "Yeah..." She then raised a bit of an eyebrow at the cat that darted out of the room. She could have sworn she heard what sounded like a little kid in there with Lydia, but she supposed it might have just been an extremely experimental song or something that Lydia had been listening to. "Jenna Natasha Rydzynski - that's my real name," she said with a huge grin. She then raised a bit of an eyebrow. Robert was a weird name for a cat - though she couldn't judge. Her basset hound was named Tony - after Tony Stark, of course.

Jenna whistled a bit and her dog came running from her parent's room. She knelt down next to him and gave him a pet with a large grin. "Hey, Tony. There's a cat in the house. Wanna help us find him, bud?" Jenna said. She then stood up and started to check the rooms one by one, closing the doors once they were cleared. Her dog was with her, sniffing frantically with excitement. His droopy ears were almost quivering with excitement.

@BlueSky44 @Morose They would be able to hear something crash in the kitchen, if they went into the kitchen both Lydia and Jenna would see a jar of cookies had been knocked over. There was shards of glass, and chocolate chip cookies both broken and still in whole pieces as well. Tony would pick up the scent in the living room, behind the TV stand they would be able to see the slight glowing eyes of the cat that was hidden in the dark corner letting out a slight growl at the dog.

@Dragoknighte @Infamous Auror "Ah, yes they have been in the area way before the town was founded, been there a few times myself for trading." Mrs. Walker said as she looked over towards Taylor and gave her a soft and friendly smile, grateful for her assistant. Then then turned her attention back towards Harry and raised an eyebrow slightly at his question and shook her head slightly. "No, not really she was into all that stuff when she was five but grew out of it rather quickly. If your looking for more history of the town you could always go and check out Halsey's shop she's been in town for a really long time, if your looking into the history of the town." Mrs. Walker suggested. While Taylor was flipping the bacon, some of the hot grease made by the bacon itself would suddenly splash onto Taylor's hands it wasn't a bad burn, but would cause a blister and hurt like a bitch.

@rivaan "Well it's good to not have a hunter put a witch killing bullet in me." She said with a slight smirk as she took the wad of cash and started to count it out. When she was satisfied that the payment was correct she simply pocketed it away, looking over at Kosara and smiled shaking her head slightly. "I don't like all that artificial stuff they have put in it." Halsey said as she waved Kosara off to go and do her thing. "But if you are in need of my services again just swing by." Halsey called out.

Abe looked over at Finley when she came over and handed him his orders and smiled as he went back to eating and reached over for the nearby newspaper and started to read through it. While occasionally taking a drink from his coffee, and digging into his breakfast, when he was finished eating Abraham reached into his wallet and started to make his way over towards the counter and gave Finley a twenty dollar tip.

He gave Olivia one last glare, before ending up leaving the store, during the last five days Abraham ended up buying himself a cellphone for the first time. It was on older flipphone unlike the fancy looking iPhones that most people had these days, Abe started to send out a text towards Jenna to see how she was dealing.

"To Jenna:
Hey, how you doing today?"

Abe hit send and started to make his way over towards his car, and got in he decided to drive up to the lake and see if he could find out if there was anything else useful or interesting there, or at the old abandoned house.

Olivia looked over towards Robin when he asked if the town was more active and gave him a slight nod. "Yeah noticed that everything has been pretty busy, lots of out of towners and news reporters as well." Olivia said when she looked over at Finley, she was actually surprised when it was on the house from her. "Thanks Fin, i'll do the same next time when i'm on shift if you come in here." She said giving her a smile, it was certainly an actual start to maybe becoming friends at some point?

Olivia looked over to see her best friend Miranda coming in and asking for a seat and quickly patted the spot next to her and gave her a little wink. "Of course you can sit right here." Olivia said as she stretched slightly, and started to take a sip from her coffee, then she looked over seeing her manager coming out from the back.

"Your free to go thanks Finley." The old man called out, things were starting to settle down for the afternoon as well, and usually during the afternoon things were pretty slow for the most part.

Harry Kingsfield

Location:

Harry was already writing down Mrs. Walker's words right as they came out of her mouth, while as usual adding his own commentary to them for himself. It was kind of amazing how quickly his hands moved considering his notebook and pen hadn't been anywhere in sight just a few seconds before. Perhaps in another life he could have been a damn good stenographer. Or he could use that as a back-up job in case being a private investigator ever goes belly up. For the time being, his skills of speed writing went towards justice, not merely court records.

  • Riley age 5 had interest in supernatural. Perhaps carried over or renewed in adolescence? Likely relevant whatever the case even if just.
  • Mrs. Walker's go-to topic from the occult was the town's history. More evidence for ingrained history of the supernatural?
  • Halsey:
    • Supposedly knowledgeable about the history of Red Lake
    • Has a shop
    • Old
    • Female

"Thank you, Mrs. Walker," Harry responded, setting down his writing utensils to the side once he was done with them. He contemplated giving her some story about perhaps coming across signs that some of the people involved might have been engaged in some kind of supernatural prank gone wrong. Something along the lines of someone thinking they were possessed by a ghost as a rationalization of their crimes, but stopped himself for two primary reasons. It would go against what he'd been telling them up to this point about not divulging information about the investigation.

But more importantly, lying was unbecoming of one who was supposed to be snouting out the Truth, even moreso when it was falsehood about the subject of their profession. A story might have given the mother some measure of comfort for her ailing mind, but it would drive a stake in the foundation of his person, and that he wouldn't abide by.

Unrelated to the job, from his seat at the table, Harry tried to shift his gaze to see if he could steal a peek into the kitchen, He was really hungry, and was curious how soon his food would be done. He knew it was unlikely that he'd be able to see much of anything at all, but he didn't want to rudely ask up-front since he'd only been seated for a few minutes.

Finley Alestair

Location: Cafe

Finley finished up the orders and looked at her tip jar. She noticed it was decently stocked up. Especially by the old man, Kosara's grandfather, who left her a decent tip. She felt guilty considering all she said to the man. And Olivia was also being nice to her. It made her feel weird. She didn't like this. Why couldn't things be normal where she could hang with Taylor and Declan and Jenna and not worry about shit like Riley or the mayor.

Life would never be normal again.

She took off her apron and hung it up, "Shifts over! Should be dying down shortly before the next person starts." She called to the back kitchen. Truth be told, she was supposed to be done an hour ago, but she wasn't gonna leave them short-handed here. She took her tips out and pocketed them as she quickly grabbed a cookie to mucn on while she waited for Declan to show up.

Robin Marshall

Location: The Café
Interacting With: Miranda Burke, Olivia Johnson

Robin finished stooping over his coffee and slid into the seat by the wall, leaning against it in a slouch. His posture had never been the best, and if ten and a bit years of schooling hadn't corrected it, he reckoned nothing ever would: it would be back problems forevermore.

"Miranda Burke," he greeted, with his usual bad habit of calling everyone by their full names He offered what he hoped was a winning smile. "It's nice to see you again. Well, it's nice to see everyone again, but, you know, I've not talked to many people since I got back." With all the new faces around Red Lake, he was, if not glad, then at least relieved to see some old ones kicking about, too. Hearing about murders in one's old stomping ground was never pleasant –– not that he had any other experiences to compare it to –– and the town and its people had wormed its way into his heart over the years, even when he tried desperately to dig it out and pretend that he was from somewhere, anywhere else.

There were few people from Red Lake he wished to see harm upon. One of them might have been that mayor... well, ex-mayor now, but it seemed churlish to speak or think ill of the dead. Other than that, he was glad that there was only one missing girl, not including all the gory deaths, and while it might have sounded selfish had he ever voiced it aloud, at least it wasn't someone he actually spoke to semi-regularly.

Though that didn't mean he wouldn't try to help out, just a man with a van and a load of old, pulpy mystery novels and the slight desire for recognition. He took a long drink of over-sweetened coffee. "Not to pry," said Robin as he began to pry, "but how are you two holding up? Given Riley Walker and all the other crazy shit I heard about."

Kosara Koleva

Location: Halsey's shop

"Well my main job is indeed hunter, but I'm close enough to be called aprentice witch too... actually no, hunter is hte side job, writer is my main one, my bad." She smirked as she nodded at the coffee statement." Will do, you can count on it. Will bring a good package of quality tea next time then." Kosara added with a wave as she exited the shop.

She sighed and looked at the skies. This was it, with this final ingredient she had everything needed to throw togetehr the tracking spell and she could do it right now. It was so weird when Witchcraft was what came in handy as hunter more often than not. Many hunters in Europe used it... even if it's just for protection bags from demons or other witchcraft. Kosara let one final sigh and pulled her mobile phone, typing a message to Abe. That simply stated." Gramps, got the thing, heading home to prepare it."

With that she hopped to drive back home. It was going to take some preparation to get the spell working. She just hoped it would pick Riley's traces.

Miranda Burke

Location: café Interacting with: Robin Marshall@McHaggis,Olivia Johnson@Nallore:

Miranda face lit up a little more when her bestie patted the seat next to her and winked at Miri, Olivia and herself had always gotten on so well even way before the former had told her what she was, it was strange that Olivia and Declan were werewolves, she knew where there was one there be more, but did not expect it be people so close to her heart. But if anything it made her trust and respect for them even stronger, she would to go hell and back for them. “Thanks Girl” taking her jacket of Miri sat down next to Oli.

Miranda noticed that the manager had come out, she still felt he was an ass even if she did calm down, she still wasn’t the same, how could anyone be, sure you had to get on with it but it didn’t mean one could just forget about it, if there is one thing to know about Miranda is that she cared deeply for those that she considers close and it is how the blonde has managed to get on with so many in Red Lake. He had told Finley she could go, she seemed to be waiting around though, maybe for someone and even for a moment thought about inviting Fin over but thought better of it.

Miranda’s smile faded and demeanour changed a little when Robin pried in and asked how they were holding up over the Riley situation and the other shit, that said shit being a mauled Mayor. Miri looked down at the table for a moment before looking up over at Olivia and then back to Robin, honestly the whole thing hit her hard, same for everyone of course, maybe more than others. “Honestly, some days I do okay, others not so much… But this shit should'nt be happening here, this is Red lake, sure not many liked the Mayor but getting murdered is not right… I miss Riley though, I know she is out there somewhere, she has to be and I won’t give up on her.”

Miranda paused for a moment to keep her herself calm and voice down, she didn’t want to blast what she was saying all over the café after all and probably was not a great topic to talk about. “She means a lot to many, me and her were always inseparable, It’s her family I feel sorry for and worry about the most, I can never imagine or understand what they must be going through… Just hope the sheriff and the FBI and find her and soon.”

Heather

Location: Home
Interacting with: N/A

The kettle was whistling. Heather pulled it from the heat and poured some water into a mug. She yawned. The night before had been somewhat restless, and she was still tired. She was thankful she had a late shift at the cafe before she went in though she wanted to make sure she pulled some weeds from the garden. The last couple of days had been quiet and simple. It was what she needed and reaffirmed her desire to not move back in with her father no matter what. The stress of living back there would be too much. She was certain of that now.

Heather went out to the garden with her mug of tea and set it down on the little table. She noticed a plant looked a little wilted. She frowned and checked the leaves for bugs trying to figure out what caused the wilting. She ran her fingers gently over the ruined edge. Heather picked up a watering can and refilled it. She checked the soil around the damaged plant for how dry it was and glanced at the leaf. The browning was gone. She paused and stared. It had definitely been that leaf Heather was sure of it.

She tilted the can and let a little water pour out into the soil and moved onto a different plant checking the soil before adding the water. When she found another browned plant, she checked it as before, but this time she watched it. The brown slowly became green, and then the leaf was whole again.

What did that mean?

Lydia Weaver

Location: Her house
Interacting With: Robert and Jenna

Lydia kept searching, looking everywhere for Robert. He was probably terrified right then, she would be too in his shoes. The fact that her cousin had set her dog on the trail to find him didn't help. Most cats didn't like dogs at all, so why would you use one to find a cat. Especially since Robert was running around the house as a small kitten, everything was a lot bigger to him than when he was walking around on two legs.

"Robert?" she called out again as she followed the sound into the kitchen. The mess on the floor was proof that he had been in there, maybe even as a human before he shifted back again. She followed the dog into the living room, and saw Robert hidden behind the TV. Lydia moved the dog out of the way so she could get to him. "Come on out Robert, you know I'm not going to hurt you," she said, reaching out to try and grab him.

Interactions: Mrs. Walker { @Nallore } ; Harry Kingsfield { @Dragoknighte }

Taylor listened absentmindedly to Harry and Mrs. Walker's conversation as they went back and forth with different things about Riley's potential interests. She hadn't been in town long enough to know too much about Riley. Two years was hardly enough to say anything about what kind of friendship they had. Although Taylor believed Finley at her word, she had her own doubts about everything. All the what if's that hung in the air like fireflies on a summer night. As Taylor pulled her attention away from the grill to look up at Mrs. Walker to speak up on the matter, she felt a seering pain in her hand. She quickly turned around and muttered a few curses under her breath, heading for the walk-in fridge to grab some mustard to apply to her grease burns.

Only moments passed before Taylor was back in her position in front of the grill with a few dabs of mustard smeared on her hand to sooth the burns. Although it stung a bit, Taylor had no fear that the blisters would scar. It wasn't such a serious burn that it needed any more attention than she gave it. She took the whole ordeal as a sign, though. Maybe she should stay out of it, especially with the P.I. being involved. If he was to ask anyone about any real information, his best bet probably would be Liv, but Taylor wasn't about to throw her under the bus. Hopefully Mrs. Walker had enough sense not to drag her into the spotlight and would feel comfortable enough filling in the blanks for Mr. Harry Kingsfield. Taylor went about her business, no longer listening in, as it seemed the conversation between the two had died down whilest she was gone. Taylor sighed softly, chewing on her lip. 'Coffee sounds good right about now,' she thought to herself.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Walker? Would you mind if I stepped away a moment and got a cup of coffee? I'd be more than happy to bring you one too, if you'd like." Taylor leaned around just so, peering over at Harry with a soft, friendly smile. "Maybe a refill for you as well, sir?"

Location: The Cafe
Interactions: Finley Alestair { @FantasyChic }

Declan hadn't had much trouble getting out and off the school grounds, nor did he have any troubles with getting to the cafe. The walk was fairly smooth and at the pace he was going, he made quite the record timing. What he wouldn't give to at least have his bicycle right now, but then again what difference would it make? He'd still be soaked by the time he got to anywhere he was planning on going. Oh well. It wasn't long before he caught the Cafe in his line of sight. A grin flashed across his face as he picked up his pace to a jog, reaching the front doors in time. His hand was almost to the door before he spotted the reflection of a white van in the Cafe glass doors. It was so out of place. Where had it come from? Part of him wanted to go up and smell it out to see who it belonged to, but the other half of him.. the human half of him, knew that would cause a slight scene with a Cafe full of people watching some scrawny teenage boy wandering around an already suspicious vehicle.

Declan shook his head of the thoughts swarming through his mind, pushing the Cafe doors open. Instead of dragging his wet self and his two bags throughout the place, he decided to drop his things by the door and wander in alone. He scanned the small restaurant and caught a few people of interest in his eye. The Agent that rolled into town last week. Agent Gregor? No. Greyson! Agent Greyson. The ol' man, Abraham. Ugh. Olivia. Miranda. Declan's chest tightened at the sight of her, as well as a bit of a smirk/smile creeping up at the corners of his lips. Followed by a slight blush. Thoughts spun around in his mind that were nearly impossible to chase away. The last five days had been spent... quite well, in his opinion. The sight of Finley brought him back to the present moment. He'd talk to Miranda later when he could grab a moment alone. He made a mental note to ask Miranda who the skinny dude sitting with her and Liv was later, for now, his time was reserved for Finn.

He walked right over to Finley who seemed to be nibbling on a cookie, chuckling softly as he came up to her and wrapped his arms around her tightly. "Hey," he murmured against her head. Declan mentally kicked himself. She deserved so much more than just a simple 'hey', but he didn't know just how to start explaining any of.. well, anything. He wouldn't blame her if she pulled back and socked him in the arm, or even straight in the face. He'd been a terrible friend. Not only had he spilled his secret and ran, going radio silent for days.. but he'd also run from her and her own leaked secret. The cats were way out of the bag on this one. Finally after a couple fleeting moments of silence, he added, "I owe you an apology."

Samantha hadn't been in the town much longer than just short of a week, and it seemed as though she was already regretting it. She'd made the rookie mistake of getting herself situated in a town before knowing what the current happenings were in it. Murdered town sheriff. Disappearing girls. There were clear signs of werewolves in the area, but wasn't too sure if they'd been the ones who had made the murder and disappearance happen. From what she could tell, no demons were in the area, which was quite a relief in her opinion. A local girl in town had been nice enough to rent out a room in her home. Miranda Burke. Quite the looker, and absolutely Samantha's type, but something had Sam thinking she'd never have a chance.

It wasn't just the boy who had been over nearly since the time she first walked in the door that she'd been having fun with.. it was the fact that that very boy was a werewolf. Sam didn't want to mess around with Miranda if she was with a werewolf. With how unpredictable they proved to be, it was best to stay out of it. Part of her wondered if Miranda even knew. And if so, why keep it around? Sam shrugged the thought away and looked over at her familiar who sat at the far side of the room against the wall with his nose stuck in a book, tilting her head to the side with a little smile.

"Want to go for a walk, boy?" she asked in a teasing tone. Sam laughed as his eyes slowly tilted up in her direction, turning into a soft glare. "Can't you go anywhere by yourself?" he questioned her, gently closing the book shut after folding a corner in to keep his page. Sam simply ignored his words and sprung up from her bed, stepping around a couple of cardboard boxes she still had left to unpack, pulling her closet door open. She could hear him grumble something about the weather outside, forcing her to turn around. "Oh a little rain don't hurt. What's the matter? Afraid to get wet?" she laughed, turning back to her closet to pick out an outfit.

Jesse was busy looking Sam up and down in her tank top and undies, smirking playfully. "Not exactly." he chuckled, getting up from the floor slowly to walk up behind her, sliding his hands over and down her hips as he pressed his lips against her shoulder. Samantha blushed brightly and swatted his hands away, quickly grabbing a shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans, giving him her own glaring look. "Not now, Jesse. I'm serious. Lets get out of here and check out the town. We haven't really gone out and done anything, yet." Jesse sighed heavily and raised an eyebrow. "Now am I going as me, or," he made the quick change over to his animal form (a grey pitbull) and barked softly with a light wag of his tail and a tilt of his great big head.

Sam shrugged as she hopped around trying to pull her skinny jeans on, "Dealer's choice, I guess." Jesse quickly changed back to his human self and sat down at the edge of Sam's bed, watching her as she dressed. Samantha grabbed her phone off the bed, disconnecting it from it's charger as she wandered over to the window. She typed out a quick text to Miranda, then threw her phone back on the bed to finish getting ready.

@BlueSky44 @Morose Robert seemed to perk up slightly when he heard Lydia's voice as he came out slightly, from his little corner, Tony quickly tried to go after him, as he quickly ran up and climbed up Lydia's leg and eventually he clung onto Lydia's shoulders claws digging into her shoulders to keep himself balanced and not falling.

@Dragoknighte @Infamous Auror "No problem Mr. Kingsfield." Mrs. Walker said as she turned her attention to look at Taylor when she noticed that she swore and went to the fridge to put some mustard over the burn. She knew that burns were never fun to deal with, as she turned her attention back to her client. When Taylor asked if she could grab some coffee, which she nodded, Taylor had been there for awhile now. "Feel free to take your breakfast break hun, i'm fine for now though thank you." She said giving her a friendly smile. "I'll be right back." She said before heading off to the next room to go and grab something leaving Taylor and Harry in the room by themselves.

@rivaan As Kosara left Halsey's shop, the rain was still coming down the walk back towards the house would be a little bit harder as a car drove past splashing Kosara with water drenching her head to toe with rain water. But other then that the walk back to the house was uneventful. Abraham had already gotten things set up, he had set all the ingredients that were needed in a kitchen cabinet which was where he usually set Kosara's spell stuff most of the time. She wouldn't get a reply from Abe at all the moment she sent out her text.

@Kirah While Heather was out in the rain, it had been raining for awhile now she was getting pretty wet now, there was a bush just by the back door of the garden that looked like it was dying as well. She could try and test out her abilities with it as well if she chose to, there wasn't much going on around in her house. Things have been fairly quiet as well and nothing interesting has happened either around her house.

@Infamous Auror Miranda's house was fairly quiet as well, nothing interesting was going on there just yet if Sam remembered that she had gone out to the coffee shop to meet up with Olivia one of her friends. Aside from that the house was uneventful and pretty much quiet at this point the rain wasn't bad but there were several puddles around the road.

Olivia smiled when Miranda sat down next to her, she was glad to have one of her besties sitting down next to her biting her lower lip for a moment. She was happy that she actually did tell her what she actually was, Olivia didn't trust to many people with her secret at all the last thing she wanted was either a group of hunters after her, or to be poked and prodded with needles constantly. Either one wasn't ideal to her. Then Robin brought up her closest friend in town which made her bite her lip again and rub the back of her neck for a moment before answering.

"Honestly, I really do miss her, and I really do hope that she is okay." Olivia finally answered, she knew that Riley was alive when Finley told her about the visions that she got. Which was still really cool at least to her anyway, she could probably win the lottery as well if Finley ever did that at least that's what Olivia thought.

Then Olivia heard the door opening and smiled brightly and waved over towards him. "Hey Declan!" Olivia called out to him, as Finley was grabbing a cookie, she'd receive a vision. She'd see Olivia in it much older, with several other people but she wouldn't recognize at all, and they looked like they were in some kind of circus tent, there were already several other bodies there as well. She'd watch Olivia turn into her wolf form and attack what looked like a deathly pale looking woman, who would send Olivia flying with a bone shattering punch to the stomach then the vision ended jus as quickly as it happened.
