".. Tamriel's Fighters Guild has no presence in Skyrim. Instead, warriors seeking adventure and kinship may join the Companions, in Whiterun. Many have passed through this doors and made names for themselves..."

Hilda recalled the last words she heard from one of the city guards before she stepped into Jorrvaskr, of course no ine thought highly of the nord, she seemed to be too frail for such a group. However she somehow was accepted.
She woke up and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes until the sun rays that entered through the window made her blink several times. She stood up and took a bath, after having the usual nordic breakfast, sweet rolls and mead, she put on her scaled armor, steel gauntlets and boots. She her nordic swords on her hips, one at each side and her steel shield attached to her back with a leather strip that crossed through her chest. Once ready she got out if her house and walked through the tundra until reaching Whiterun.

It was around 7 a.m by the time the female Nord reached the gates of the city, she could hear Adrianne Avenicci hammering an iron sword and some guards talking about brawl that took place in the Bannered Mare last night.
Hilda continued her way to the Wind District and finaly into Jorrvaskr. The place was wuiet, really quiet, perhaps too early for the Companions to wake up.
She simply took a seat next to the fire and waited for the others.

Alit emerged from the living quarters, dressed in her usual dull blue robes, just a little bit after the warrior's arrival. Her eyes were set in a 'I just woke up' squint as she sauntered over to the mead hall's table to collect breakfast- grilled leeks and half of a loaf of bread- before settling at her usual spot to eat. The only other in the hall was the green-eyed Nord, whom Alit greeted with only a look of acknowledgment.

She pushed the plate up once it was cleared, resting her arms on the table as she stared blankly into the crackling fire. Skyrim mornings felt a little different from Solstheim mornings. There was the cold, and there was the fact that she didn't have to look forward to getting ash yams out of a dry ground. The difference was pleasant enough with the exception of the former.

Alit finally turned her gaze upwards, set on Hilda. "Whaddya do?" she worked up the will to speak after eating, "To get accepted into the Companions, I mean. I heard ya got beat up."

Before coming to Whiterun Jarett had been traveling through Skrim for weeks now and he had grown accustomed to the cold looks the pale locals gave him. He found the harsh winds and frigid mornings more welcoming than the people. He had been turned away once or twice from various Inns, and only once he had been assaulted by a couple of local Nords telling him to get out of their lands. HE couldn't just lie he wasn't a Redguard. The darker coloration and the tattoos of his skin gave his nationality away rather easily. Perhaps they were jealous of his tanned silky skin and dashing good looks. That was not his fault, and he would not dare to hide his face from the hostile people of Skyrim. Of course, not everyone was like that.

Upon arriving at Whiterun Jarett had to sware he was not an Alik'r soldier, and he was just passing through to buy some supplies. He swore on telling the truth- and he really was - but plans changed. He met the Companions. After his admittance to the Companions, the guards in Whiterun seemed to ease around him. Jarett swears he saw one of the guard's eyes linger on him as he went on in the market buying herbs from Carlotta Valentia. The Redguard didn't blame him.

Now Jarett walked to the hall of the Jorrvaskr in one of his less ornate bright red sleeping robes. Jarett could not start the morning without food and herbs tea in his belly, and that was the most important thing right now. After gathering some leaks, bread, and a piece of cheese accompanied with a hot cup of his own herbs tea he sat across the Dunmer woman. He listened in on their conversation while eating and trying to wove a few braids into his hair.

The morning air was cool and crisp almost frigid when compared to the hot muggy mornings of the Black Marsh. However, Sisseepa didn’t mind the cold much. In his years traversing Skyrim he’d grown rather accustomed to it. Well, mostly that is. The more snowy regions of Skyrim was a different story entirely. The Argonian’s bones ached just thinking about it. Sisseepa pushed away his traveling thoughts and focused on the task at hand. With a quiet grunt, he hefted the woodcutter's ax above his head and brought it down in one fluid motion, chopping the wood below in half. Deciding the pile of firewood was sufficient, Sisseepa rolled the kinks out of his shoulders before gathering up the lumber in his arms.

Being the early riser he was and not wishing to disturb his fellow guild members, the archer sequestered himself to the Companion training ground to chop wood for the fire. Doing so allowed him to warm his muscles and help out a little with Jorrvaskr housekeeping. He figured the guild’s elderly maid Tilma could use the help. Sisseepa shuffled through Jorrvaskr back door with the wood pausing briefly to make note of the guild members present. β€œGreetings honored friends.” He greets with a friendly curve of his mouth nodding his head to the small group.”Staying warm I hope?” He hummed adding more wood to the fire before placing the rest in a pile for later use. Sisseepa dusted off his hands before standing and joining the others quietly taking a seat next to Jarett.

Hey! There was no need to say that!

Damn the Dunmer sure was blunt, her words really hurt Hilda even though some time had passed since then, she simply hugged her arms and thought for an excuse to say, although everyone knew she got completely overwhelmed by the huntress. From the corner of her eyes she saw Jarett and soon after Sisseepa getting arriving to the mead hall.
There was no need to give all I had in that silly fight, the idea was not to kill each other.
She explained to Alit before turning her head to the Argonian and replied with a simle,
Yes, thank to you. You are alwys taking care of things like this. I really appreciate it.

Her kind words where suddenly interrupted by someone who slammed the door, it was no other than Aela.

"New bloods! We have a huge problem in hands! The Harbinger is missing!"
She slammed her hands against one of the tables and left a letter she had recived from Dovahkiin before disappearing.

"I am on my way to Solitud in order to meet with Delphine and other members of the Blades, the meeting will be in a secret place. For some reason Delphine is yet to tell me Sky Heaven Temple is no longer safe.
If the enemy is not the Thalmor, who have been trying to track down the Blades for yers, then the Companions as well may be on danger.
I will send you a letter as soon as I arrive to Solitude

Dovahkiin

"This letter was sent almost two weeks ago! You whelps go get ready, you are going to Solitude inmediatly!"
The Huntress commanded, Hilda nodded and stood up, her combat gear was ready, she just took a lehter backpack with some supplies and was redy to go.

Alit pressed her lips into a thin line as the information on the Harbinger's apparent disappearance was relayed. Now, it wasn't the ideal way to start off the day, but...

Who or what could have overpowered the Dragonborn?

The question wasn't going to be leaving her mind any time soon. Alit got up from her chair and headed back down to the living quarters for a quick moment to retrieve a bag, secured on the belt of her robes, and her axe-- the dagger had already been at her side, a habit that had developed over the years, and luckily it was a useful one. When she returned to the mead hall, she got a better look at the others.

There was Hilda, of course, and there was the Redguard and the Argonian. She remembered the other newer members of the guild, and thankfully at least a couple of them looked like they could take care of themselves. Regardless, with a flick of her hand, Alit assured herself that a healing spell was prepared. "All right," she stretched out her arms, "We've got a Harbinger to find. Just stuff some food in a pack if ya haven't eaten yet."

"Wha- how can the Harbinger, the Dovahkin, just disappeared?" Jarett stood from his seat and took the letter to reread it over and over again until the words were burned into his mind. "This can't be..." Dovahkin was supposed to be this powerful person! They had defeated Alduin and Miraak and had survived to tell the tale of it! If whatever had taken the Dovahkin down would be able to simply kill their whole party. Jarett didn't say that though. Instead, he set the letter back down on the table and stood up to go back to the living quarters.

A few minutes later he emerged wearing his usual dark red coat lined with bear fur and his magical black robes under the coat. A pack had been swung over his shoulder. His two decorated knives strapped on to his waistband along with a few pouches that contained a few herbs. Some medicinal while others were used for harm. His hands were shaking slightly from all the thoughts that kept sweeping through his brain. What if it was another dragon more powerful than Alduin? What if Alduin was back? Or the Thalmor had somehow captured Dovahkin?

"Oh ancestors, this is not how I pictured the morning happening," Jarett chewed on the last bit of his breakfast nervously as he patiently waited for the rest of the party to get ready.

As if acting on instinct, Sisseepa’s hand flew to the dagger that was strapped to his hip upon Aela’s loud and rather abrupt entrance. However, once seeing there was no immediate threat the startled reptile eased slightly. Usually when Jorvasker’s door were flung open in such a way danger was the cause. Thankfully this didn’t seem to be the case, though the look on the seasoned Companion’s face told otherwise. Her news was just as chilling. The Harbinger missing? It wasn’t like the Dovahkin to just vanish. He understood that as Harbinger and Dovahkin, a lot would be expected of them and at times would be called away. But to be missing leaving nothing behind but a letter telling of possible danger was troubling. Glancing around the room it was apparent the others shared his concern. He was worried not just for the Harbinger but for them as well. For someone are something to be powerful enough to fell the Dovahkin...What odds did they have of standing chance? No, he couldn’t think of that. Now was time the time to dwell but the time to act.

Sisseepa stood up from his seat and followed Alit and Jarret to the living quarters. He’d made the decision to adorn his armor early this morning needing only to pack a back and grab his bow. The Argonian quickly shoved what he could into the small satchel. Two healing potions and some rations for the road. He shoulder the pack and clipped his quiver in place. The light snores coming from the cot across from his own stopped him in his tracks.[@ β€œArise egg-brother.” ]He spoke with worry leaking into his voice as he shook the slumbering mound that was Zazar. β€œThe Harbinger Dovahkin is missing and we leave for Solitude soon.” His rising worry causing the natural hiss in is accent to become more heavy. The more time wasted the more dire situation became. Pleased that the fellow Argonian began to stir Sisseepa released the other’s shoulder and grabbed his bow on the way out. If the little group wished to stand a chance against the faceless enemy then they would need all the help they could get.

The lavender eyed Argonian soon returned to the group nodding to show he was ready. β€œZazar will be joining us soon.” He informed exchanging a glance with Hilde and Alit. The Redgaurd’s words caught his attention it was plain to see the nervousness that exuded from his fellow Companion. β€œWe will be okay.” He spoke laying a comforting hand upon the other’s shoulder. Sisseepa tried to look hopeful but he couldn’t help the pools of uneasiness reflecting in his own eyes.

Velan thew his bow over his shoulder as he made his way to Jorvaskr. he whistled a soft tune to himself as he walked past the market place. Up the stairs into the wind district the Hall lay in front of him to Velan no Nord architecture could match the beauty of his home but alas this was home now. Velan looked over his shoulder for a moment to the tree which stood proudly in the district.
A smile formed on his face " Grow strong and wise" he said softly something his father used to say to him.

He entered the hall to see the other young bloods as the other companions called them gathered Aela stood she had just finished saying something important. he gathered by the look on everyone's faces. " Did i miss something urgent?" he asked the out to the room. Hoping
to be put in the know seeing how everyone seemed to be in a hurry.

Zazar was still asleep in his room while his Argonian brethren was poking him awake, Soon he awakened rubbing his eyes. "Zazar is awaken my egg brother..Zazar will join you shortly" He said not letting Sisseepa stay behind for him. Getting dressed and getting his things and before long joined the others. The idea of the Dovakiin missing worried him, He thought that they would be all powerful beings that did not need their help. But it looked like that would not be the case, "Zazar says good moorning to you egg brother, Zazar is curious of how you are feeling?" He said to Sisseepa standing beside him now.

He was sure that with the combined strength of the group they could find the Dovakiin, His eyes staring at the one named Alit whom reminded him of Brelyna Maryon.

Alit turned to the Bosmer, Velan, as he walked in a little late. "Urgent's one word for it," she said, arms crossed, "The Harbinger turned up missing. We're supposed to head towards Solitude to find 'em." Solitude... that was in Haafin-something, northwest from here if she can remember correctly. Good thing there were more people showing up, maybe they knew the geography a little better, she wasn't exactly in the mood to be deciphering faded road signs.

She looked back at some of the rest of the soon-to-be complete team of new Companions as she snaps herself out of her thoughts. She narrowed her eyes at Zazar, noticing that he seemed to just be staring at her.

Velan cracked a small smile he was at ease with a fellow mer though he had only known a handful of Dunmer he still felt some kinship. " well that's ominousness...the harbinger is not one to just disappear he hardly left whiterun since i joined." He mused,
Velan walked over to the center table and looked over everyone. foreign faces seemed to stare back it was still jarring being away from Valenwood hardly any non Bosmer made their home there.

Alas i am in Skyrim now home of the nord's a frozen and hard land Velan mused to himself as he shifted his attention to the matter at hand. " So when do we depart i assume we shall not let our leader stay missing ?" he asked as he fiddled with his quiver strap
a tick that followed Velan.

Jarett turned his face to Sisseepa. The Argonian man was right, they were gonna be fine. The Dohvakiin was a resourceful person and they knew how to handle themselves a lot more than anyone in this room. If anyone was able to escape whatever was thrown at them would be the Dohvakiin, they had proved that time and time again. "You're right. There might not be a problem at all." He said, mostly to convince himself than anyone else that might be hearing their little exchange of words. Jarett was a person who wouldn't pass up an adventure, but the idea of one of the most powerful persons in Skyrim was missing made his stomach and chest feel heavy.

"Solitude is in Haafingar. We can head West towards Rorickstead and go up North to Dragon Bridge, then up to Solitude. From here to Rorickstead would take us two to three days of travel if we go by horse. Three more to Dragon Bridge and one from there to Solitude. That is assuming if we don't encounter any bandits or any trouble on the way." Jarett finally spoke up after calming himself a bit. He was no use to anyone if he was nervous and anxious all the way there. This was the reason he was here in Skyrim, and he wasn't going to fail this or fail his new team.
