In a time where there are flying men in a suit of iron and aliens emerging from the sky. In a time where perilous events call upon the strong to defend the weak. In a time where darkness seems to constantly linger, there needs to be a light. Only time will tell who might answer the call to be that light in the darkness… or who might make the darkness grow.
No one is born a hero. No one is born a villain. The choices you make and the actions you take define who you are. Why you do those things are what give people titles such as "hero" and "villain".
There is a thought behind every choice and a story behind every action. These are the stories of heroes, villains, and anything else in-between and for some… their beginnings. Stories of how these special, and in some cases not-so-special, people unknowingly became a part of something larger than anyone could ever imagine.
This is a high-casual, 18+ roleplay taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Specifically, the end of Phase 1 (The Avengers) and the beginning of Phase 2 (Iron Man 3) which would put us in the years 2012-2013.
Each character has their own personal journey/storyline they'll follow. Some of them may overlap. At some point every single character will meet each other, whether it's all at once or one at a time.
I'd recommend everyone starting off with just one character, though I will allow up to three OC's after you make at least five IC posts as your first character. I'm allowing the option to roleplay as a Marvel character that has yet to be introduced in the MCU, however, I strongly suggest creating your own OC for this roleplay. OC's that are part of the LGBTQ+ community are definitely allowed. All characters should be eighteen or older.
Just follow the rules of RPG and we should all be fine.
One thing I will add to that is you should feel okay with others controlling your characters. Obviously not in a major way. No making big character choices for other people. I mean controlling them on a smaller scale like starting a conversation with another character (if it makes sense in the story) and other things like that. Just don't god-mod (I'm pretty sure that's already an RPG rule anyway).
You don't have the be an insanely great writer (I'm bound to be a little rusty myself since I haven't done a roleplay in about three years). Just use proper grammar and make coherent sentences. Text speech (when in character) isn't allowed unless your character is texting another character. Since this is high-casual roleplay, I certainly expect more than one or two paragraphs but I'm also fine with one or two paragraphs if they're a solid length and have enough detail.
If your OC is going to have sex with someone, either "fade to black" or, since this is 18+ , don't make it too graphic. We're not here to write smut. Gore and violence follow the same "not too graphic" rule. I guess, if it has already been seen in a Marvel film or TV show (that, of course, includes the ones on Netflix) then it is allowed in this roleplay.
A majority (if not all) of the main characters in the MCU are not going to be romanceable. So, no LokixOC and stuff like that. This goes for all of the TV characters too. Depending on how this story goes we may bend this rule a bit but I doubt that'll happen.
You're not allowed to change the pasts or backstories of any characters. I don't want to see this mysterious third friend of Bucky and Steve's that vanished and somehow ended up in the 21st century or Thor's adopted sister that got transported to Earth or something like that.
As of right now, no one is becoming an Avenger. You can work for Shield or Hydra, hell you could even run into an Avenger (if it makes sense). But no one going to become an Avenger. Encountering side characters is fine and usually more believable. When we're dealing with TV characters, such as the Agents of Shield and the Defenders, that's when we start to get into some tricky territory. I'd expect an OC that's a Shield agent to know (or know of) Fitz and Simmons. I'd expect an OC that lives in Hell's Kitchen to at least know of Matt Murdock. I feel like running into to characters like those might be more likely to happen than running into Black Widow or Tony Stark. We'll discuss if anyone can join the Agents of Shield or the Defenders as the roleplay progresses.
If and when your OC comes across an already established MCU character, make sure they stay in-character. Bruce Banner wouldn't randomly pull a prank on Natasha. Tony Stark wouldn't immediately ask for help from someone if he was struggling with a project. Steve Rogers wouldn't boast about how wonderfully patriotic he is all the time. Keep them all IC.
Keep the fourth wall breaking to a minimum. None of us are Deadpool here. Speaking of Deadpool…
You can roleplay as X-Men characters that have yet to be seen in a (Disney, Fox, or Sony) Marvel film.
Last but not least, we're not going to change any of movie's plots. That doesn't mean this is going to be some kind of "self-insert" kind of roleplay. Far from that, actually. I just don't want anyone thinking that they can prevent something from happening like protecting Tony from the shrapnel that impales him or saving Loki before he lets go of Thor's hand. Our characters have their own journey they're going on while all of the stuff we see in the films are happening around us.

Ava, who followed her parents to the church and eavesdropped on their meeting, immediately ran away, crying at the thought of being possessed. She ran and ran into the woods, unfazed by the lowering temperatures. As she went further into the woods, she came across a cave. Needing a place to rest, she went into the cave. As she settled down, a strange, blue, floating orb appeared in front of her face. Ava swore that she heard the orb whispering "come with me" repeatedly. She felt like she could trust the orb and proceeded to follow it. The orb led her to this odd opening that had several statues standing in a circle. On the ground was a weird symbol. When she entered the circle, a man with eyes seemingly covered by a layer of skin appeared out of nowhere. He said he would take her to a place where she would be safe. She felt a strange connection with the man and went with him to place that was nicknamed "Afterlife". There, she met a woman named Jiaying who told Ava of the Inhumans and how she was one of them. She also learned that, unlike most Inhumans, Ava was already born with one of her powers but she was still incomplete. Ava still had to go through the ancient Inhuman ritual of "the mist". When Ava learned of this, she wanted to go through the mist as soon as possible. Jiaying did not let her. Ava didn't understand why as Jiaying did not give her an explanation. Weeks turned into months and Ava came nowhere close to going through the mist. It would be an understatement to say that Ava was impatient, for she was not only that but furious as well. When she confronted Jiaying, she said just wanted to see Ava connect with her powers more but Ava knew she was lying. Jiaying seemed to forget Ava had no other powers to connect with at that time. She needed to go through the mist. After a heated argument, Jiaying gave in and let Ava go through the mist. After the wonderful ritual was over, Ava came out looking the same on the outside, but a completely different person on the inside. Ava could now create beautiful winter marvels such as frost or a beast of nature like a snowstorm. Ava felt wonderful. But that wonderful feeling didn't last for long. Later that night, she saw Jiaying take the life of a fellow Inhuman. The fellow Inhuman being Ava's best friend that she made while staying in Afterlife. Ava felt a mixture of horror, devastation, and rage. But she didn't take out her revenge on Jiaying. At least, not right then and there. She couldn't be seen murdering her. Especially when Jiaying was obviously the stronger Inhuman. So, Ava found a way to leave Afterlife by lying to Gordon, saying that she needed to gather things from home and she did… but only so she'd be prepared to live on her own in nature after running away. - By nature, honor would seem to be more important to him than life itself; often becoming tied to The Dragonknight's code of conduct on the battlefield, believing adversaries should be treated with courtesy and respect, even if they would be sworn enemies. Caution and discretion are key to his survival, but fear is a disease and cowardice is a moral failing. To him, breaking an oath is the height of dishonor, and attention to honesty extends to every word. A commitment made must be carried out. Ultimately, he takes responsibility for his actions and the consequences that follow. Typically enthusiastic about life, particularly success, and brooding about failure for only a short time before disappointment is shaped into a strong drive for improvement. [The Harvester of Souls]
- Due to the power of his guardian spirit, he is granted the innate ability to strike at the very life force of an opponent; often channeled through his natural elemental prowess giving the conjured element a certain green hue, and is highly capable of sapping the very will to survive from any living soul. This ability is especially deadly to all Dragon kind and those of Dragonic decent, capable of empowering him with the souls and abilities of any dragon slain by this power. Due to this connection with his guardian, The Dragonknight's soul is immortal and unattainable by all means.
Weapons:
- A legendary five foot sword forged in the flames of the Lost Society; fabled to have been made by Tiamat herself, practically indestructible and has the capability of becoming a conduit for the powerful Dragonic force he is able to cast; this can only be accomplished by speaking in his native tongue. The blade is the only memory he has of his once mighty race and can only be wielded by him. Can be summoned to him by calling out it's true name.
The Triforce Gun
- A fully customized jet black three barreled gun, each barrel etched with faintly glowing Dragonic symbols; each symbol representing that of Fire, Ice and Lightning. This firearm is unique in it's own way for it has no need for standard ammunition and runs off the unlimited Dragonic force that courses through his veins. It is always holstered on his left side.
Weaknesses:
His elementalist ability is limited to only the elements he creates and within his vicinity, he cannot control elements cast by other users.
His feral sense ability can be fooled by magic and other types of supernatural abilities.
He is only capable of lifting 10 tons with his superhuman strength, anything above that can be moved by sheer will, but can and will cause fatigue and only be held for a limited time before he collapses from exhaustion.
His accelerated healing can only heal if he has the time it takes to recover from the injuries he obtains, the more damage he takes in rapid succession can easily overwhelm the ability, ceasing it completely.
His elemental reincarnation isn't instantaneous. It takes time. Months to years. On rare occasions it can take days, but when it happens he has no recollection of who he is and unable to control his capabilities until he can regain his lost memories.
Upon exiting the state of Dragon's Rage will cause him to collapse into a comatose like state. He will remain in this state from anywhere to a few days to a few weeks depending on how long he remains in Dragon's Rage.
The Harvester of Souls ability cannot affect anything outside of the dragonic race, rendering it completely useless against any other race.

Backstory:
Born into royalty and the most powerful race known to man, the Dragonknights; guardian-bearing warriors who possess the soul, blood and abilities of a dragon, Draku is the only known surviving member of his kind. In years long past a wicked dictator, by the name of Evil Brimstone, invaded their lands with seemingly endless hordes of super powered demons; destroying everything and sparing no one in his path. It was in a failed attempt at ending the fighting with no further bloodshed that Draku's father, the mightiest Dragonknight since their ancestors, had fallen. In the fiery aftermath of what was left of his homeland, he made his way to the altar where his people had prayed to The Mighty Tiamat; Mother of All Dragons, for the power to avenge his family and friends. In response to his prayers Tiamat sent to him the guardian known as Bahumat the Harvester of Souls, a legendary black dragon responsible for devouring the souls of his fallen brethren in an attempt to gain ultimate power, granting Draku the strength and abilities of every soul within the Harvester's realm. His guardian’s darkness and thirst for power has merged with Draku’s rage, thus tainting his once pure soul. Personality: Anya can be both deadpan and snarky and over the top depending on the time of day and whether or not she likes the person she's speaking to. Anya is rather selfish at times, concerned more with her own safety than that of others. Above all knows she her own limits... well, most of the time, if angered that can change real fast. When angered, Anya can often be vindictive or even enter a state of pure rage, amplified by the Vambrace of Gallicles.
Appearance: Anya is a short (5'3") and thin young woman, mostly unremarkable and plain. Her skin is pale, though not exceptionally so. Her hair is a dark brown, and though naturally curly, she straightens it, wearing it to shoulder-blade length. She mostly wears jackets or hoodies over T-shirts, and if the weather so much as dips below normal summer temperatures she pulls the hood up. She wears the Vambrace of Gallicles on her lower right arm, where it has bound itself to her skin. Her eyes were originally amber, but they turn an unnatural yellow when she makes use of the Vambrace.
Backstory: Born in New York City to an Ashkenazi Jewish family, Anya Jakobs lived a plain life, never going through the trials of a teenage relationship or anything of the sort, spending most of her time at home, but still taking gymnastics as a hobby. College was a big shift in her life, she moved away from home, took up rock climbing as a hobby in order to keep herself in shape, as it became far less convenient to use gymnastics as exercise, and deciding to do some travelling. On a trip to Nepal, Anya noticed a conspicuously cloaked man wandering the city. She noticed that people seemed to part around him. Anya discreetly followed the man, following him as he entered a large building, managing to sneak after him. Finding herself in a world of strange magic, she nearly passed out. Just as she was spotted, she accidentally grabbed a pedestal-seated wrist-guard. A sudden flash filled the room. Anya's arm felt like it was being tattooed by a greatsword. She passed out. When she awoke she was back home, in America. She first thought the whole trip an incredibly realistic dream, but when she looked at her arm, she noticed the Vambrace stuck to it. No matter how much Anya attempted to remove it, it remained. This would be an adjustment to make.

When angered, Anya can often be vindictive or even enter a state of pure rage, amplified by the Vambrace of Gallicles.

Her hair is a dark brown, and though naturally curly, she straightens it, wearing it to shoulder-blade length. She mostly wears jackets or hoodies over T-shirts, and if the weather so much as dips below normal summer temperatures she pulls the hood up. She wears the Vambrace of Gallicles on her lower right arm, where it has bound itself to her skin. Her eyes were originally amber, but they turn an unnatural yellow when she makes use of the Vambrace.
Backstory: Born in New York City to an Ashkenazi Jewish family, Anya Jakobs lived a plain life, never going through the trials of a teenage relationship or anything of the sort, spending most of her time at home, but still taking gymnastics as a hobby. College was a big shift in her life, she moved away from home, took up rock climbing as a hobby in order to keep herself in shape, as it became far less convenient to use gymnastics as exercise, and deciding to do some travelling. On a trip to Nepal, Anya noticed a conspicuously cloaked man wandering the city. She noticed that people seemed to part around him. Anya discreetly followed the man, following him as he entered a large building, managing to sneak after him. Finding herself in a world of strange magic, she nearly passed out. Just as she was spotted, she accidentally grabbed a pedestal-seated wrist-guard. A sudden flash filled the room. Anya's arm felt like it was being tattooed by a greatsword. She passed out. When she awoke she was back home, in America. She first thought the whole trip an incredibly realistic dream, but when she looked at her arm, she noticed the Vambrace stuck to it. No matter how much Anya attempted to remove it, it remained. This would be an adjustment to make.

-As a result of his biology and power armour, Jord is a lot stronger, faster and has more stamina than a normal human would have, and uses this to great effect during combat.

It is a lot larger than a normal SMG or assault rifle, but can be held in one hand by Jord due to his strength and power armour. It is very hard to use without a proper power source, because the energy requirement to use it is quite large, as it is essentially a railgun.
-Praetorian armour: Ancient power armour made several hundred years ago. Powered by a small fusion generator, the power armour is made out of thick armour plates encased in a ceramic-like material. Servomotors and fibre bundles make the whole thing move, although most energy from the power source is used to power the armour's movement, some is reserved for the rebreather systems inside the helmet, combat systems that allow Jord to better target enemies and assess threats. The rest of the energy is used to power the Bulwark and BFG. It also connects to Jord's nervous system directly using an implant in Jord's back that interfaces with the armour and allows him to move a lot more natural wearing it, as well as control the Bulwark's shield just by thinking.

Although both stronger and more resilient than an ordinary human, Jord can still die from dehydration, disease, lethal injuries etc, just like a normal human. The power armour he is wearing has a ton of electrical circuits and wiring through it, and although it is heavily shielded can still be disabled with a very strong EMP blast. Both the BFG and the Bulwark need a lot of power to work and won't work properly when that power source (the fusion reactor in the Praetorian armour) is gone.

Their science and technology became very advanced, and they became masters of genetic engineering. Then came the Kree empire. The Taitheans, feeling the pressure from this galactic superpower, needed soldiers. Sadly, however, the Taitheans themselves were weak, and could not fight very well. Luckily one of the Taithean spies heard about what the Kree had done on Earth, and soon a few humans were abducted. Their genetic material was collected, modified and transformed and formed the basis for what became genetically modified super soldiers, stronger, faster and most importantly tougher than the average human. The Taitheans made strong suits of power armour for them, and implanted the humans with implants in their backs to control this armour. While in their gestation pods they were trained in various combat techniques using neurotrainers, small devices using nanobots to give knowledge to the humans. Unfortunately, Taithea was too late, and soon they were taken over by the Kree. Before that happened though, the project was quickly destroyed, the soldiers were implanted with false memories and they were sent to Earth in spaceships. Jord was one of these soldiers, and after arriving on Earth he lived his life normally, believing he got his weapons and armour from some obscure government agency, rather than anything particular. He is now a mercenary that travels the world looking for work

Powers (if any): Tonic’s abilities are a healing touch and a healing factor as well as a poison touch. Due to the toxins that she was experimented on with. She has been able to push them to specifically her left hand. She wears a glove on that hand. This does not mitigate pain from the injuries but as long as the subject is still alive; heart beating even faintly, she can heal them. Her healing factor can heal non-vital injuries within minutes but takes longer on mortal wounds. Consequently she can heal and harm at once. She is practically immune to poisons, diseases, and aging; which is reduced to a fraction of what it should be. Unfortunately it is also practically impossible for her to get drunk or high; she tried that route to deal with her nightmares. Backstory (if you plan on revealing your OC's backstory in the RP, either skip this or keep it vague): Jocelyn Victoria Beatrix Harmon was born in 1933 and on her 10th birthday she fell down stairs getting to a bomb shelter in the town house they were living in. her mother broke her ankle for all of a minute. Jocelyn used her powers to heal her mother. As her powers presented themselves her parents were horrified. Turning her over to an agency that stated that they’d take care of her and that the “incident” would never be spoken of. Jocelyn was taken to Canada and experimented on as a side project of the Weapon X Program. She was genetically manipulated hundreds of times but the only one that took was a healing factor from another experiment. She was then put through more experimentation to see how well the healing both her original and the added gene worked. Needless to say she was tortured and saw others tortured. She escaped as one of the other experiments destroyed the place and somehow by luck was not discovered. She was 16 at the time but looked like she was 12. On the run she went from Canada into the US and went from school to school running just as she managed to find out someone was after her. She had a hard life but things got easier in the 1960’s about 20 years after she got into the US. She started waitressing to earn money to keep moving from town to town about every 7 to 10 years or so on the outside; at times she had to move sooner. She made sure that she was paid under the table so that she could disappear if she thought things were getting rough. Jocelyn realized that she’d have to get an identity every so often and knows a few people that she keeps in contact with and every so often she’d have a new identity made up. Eventually when computers were the new thing she started to learn how to hack into systems and be able to produce her own identification and background information that people were asking for. She attended a small colleges and has several degrees in computer technologies, C++ and Programing. She also has a Nursing Degree. Sadly even though it’s all her it is under pseudonyms. She was able to finally track down what happened to her in Canada and after almost 65 years she has a clue and that is the name “James Howlett”. When that name lead her on a wild goose chase she gave up. She applied and works as a part time bartender for a local bar.

This does not mitigate pain from the injuries but as long as the subject is still alive; heart beating even faintly, she can heal them. Her healing factor can heal non-vital injuries within minutes but takes longer on mortal wounds. Consequently she can heal and harm at once. She is practically immune to poisons, diseases, and aging; which is reduced to a fraction of what it should be. Unfortunately it is also practically impossible for her to get drunk or high; she tried that route to deal with her nightmares. Backstory (if you plan on revealing your OC's backstory in the RP, either skip this or keep it vague): Jocelyn Victoria Beatrix Harmon was born in 1933 and on her 10th birthday she fell down stairs getting to a bomb shelter in the town house they were living in. her mother broke her ankle for all of a minute. Jocelyn used her powers to heal her mother. As her powers presented themselves her parents were horrified. Turning her over to an agency that stated that they’d take care of her and that the “incident” would never be spoken of. Jocelyn was taken to Canada and experimented on as a side project of the Weapon X Program. She was genetically manipulated hundreds of times but the only one that took was a healing factor from another experiment. She was then put through more experimentation to see how well the healing both her original and the added gene worked. Needless to say she was tortured and saw others tortured. She escaped as one of the other experiments destroyed the place and somehow by luck was not discovered. She was 16 at the time but looked like she was 12. On the run she went from Canada into the US and went from school to school running just as she managed to find out someone was after her. She had a hard life but things got easier in the 1960’s about 20 years after she got into the US. She started waitressing to earn money to keep moving from town to town about every 7 to 10 years or so on the outside; at times she had to move sooner. She made sure that she was paid under the table so that she could disappear if she thought things were getting rough. Jocelyn realized that she’d have to get an identity every so often and knows a few people that she keeps in contact with and every so often she’d have a new identity made up. Eventually when computers were the new thing she started to learn how to hack into systems and be able to produce her own identification and background information that people were asking for. She attended a small colleges and has several degrees in computer technologies, C++ and Programing. She also has a Nursing Degree. Sadly even though it’s all her it is under pseudonyms. She was able to finally track down what happened to her in Canada and after almost 65 years she has a clue and that is the name “James Howlett”. When that name lead her on a wild goose chase she gave up. She applied and works as a part time bartender for a local bar.

The other personality is that of the young Klyntar the Sliver symbiotes, a bit like that of an animal with primal instincts. A very aggressive personality, loves fighting and destruction. James can climb and stick to walls similar to spiderman he also has the ability to create webbing using Biomatter created webs. the webbing created by the Klyntar is a strong substance that degrades fast but starts off strong enough to holster up cars. the more webbing used the stronger it is. The bio matter does get weaker the more 'hungry' James gets. It builds off of food, breaking down the carbs and matter into the bio matter substance.
Monstrous strength, able to lift a normal four door car. With a bit of strain. Lifting a standard sedan or family car is his limit. He can lift it over his head for a minute
The symbiotes suit can shape shift into multiple forms from the extremities, increasing or decreasing its durability. Creating shields and bladed weapons. Going as far as creating extra extremities like spikes along any part o which the suit covers. The ability can also shift the entire suit into an shape turning James into anyone or any clothing choice The durability is that of heavy steel. It can stop normal bullets blades and absorb a small amount of explosive damage.
Healing factor, He can heal almost any wound rather quickly as long as his organs remain fine. The healing factor does heal organs to a point just slower. There are limits, if the bio matter is lacking in substance then the healing factor wont work, or if a mass amount of damage done at one time, say he is caught in a blast of an explosion the healing rate is slowed.

James was from New York, born and raised. He was a cop trainee when his destiny changed when on his way home from the police academy James was shot by a mugger and thrown into the a river. In the river was a container labeled toxic, inside was an alien creature a klyntar. This creature was created one year before this day. It was born or rather created in a Hammer tech lab created to be turned into a sort of weapon. Taken from a fragment of a black metorite from the same meteor the Venom symbote.
The fragment was given life in the lab creating a new klyntar given the name Sliver as it was a small sliver of a fragment. From its birth it was subjected to constant torture in form of extreme experiments to strengthen the alien to see what it can take and to make it stronger. An accident happened causing an emergency transfer of the creature it was placed in a temporary container to be moved but an explosion took the lives of those in the lab and the container fell into the river and washed away.
When James fell into the river his body broke open the container and the creature was free and grabbed onto the closest living creature that being James. Due to James being close to death and its weakened state it was a permanent blending. Neither able to ever live without the other without death approaching quickly.James awoke to find he was different and soon enough his life is changed. Eventually finding out he now shared his body with another creature. Learning over some time how to work with the creature he became a vigilante calling himself Sliver.

- Can summon a massive swarm of flesh rendering insects from the depths of Hell. They will remain on this plane until he chooses to dismiss them.
Demonic Possession
- Can take control of an individual by channeling his spirit into the body of a victim. Often including erased memories or personality convulsions, fits, and fainting as if one were dying. The subject has no control over their body when he is possessing them and will persist until a very powerful exorcist performs an exorcism to cast him out, if he hasn't already chosen to leave said body. He can posses the person for however long he wishes; but at a price, for his physical form will remain in a deep slumber until his spirit returns to him.

- Literally meaning "ninja techniques" refers to any technique that utilizes chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike Genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are actual and physical in most cases.ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time , hand seals to be effective. The hands are put in sequential positions that moulds and manipulates chakra in the necessary manner to perform a technique. This is not always needed, however, and some techniques become second nature to experienced ninjas, after which they can perform them at will. Additionally, many ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental techniques, in those cases where a specific element(wind,water,fire,earth, or lightning) is used. When creating a ninjutsu, the two methods of manipulating chakra are referred to as shape transformation and nature transformation. Shape transformation deals with controlling the form movement, and potency of chakra. Nature transformation usually deals with changing the physical properties of chakra into an element.(There is also the nature transformation of YIN and YANG, but little is revealed about this). The Tempest:
A bow composed out of the very air, he can summon the weapon with a mere extension of his right arm and calling upon it by name. Aiming the bow at a target and pulling back on the drawstring conjures a powerful arrow with enough power behind it to penetrate the strongest of armors. With the speed of the wind behind these arrows, they are nearly impossible to avoid.
The Sword of the Arcane:
A two handed Katana-machete hybrid forged in the flames of Hell, out of an unknown; unbreakable alloy, by his own two hands. It offers a nineteen inch long black blade with a modified Tanto style point and has slots on one side much like the teeth of a comb that could catch the blade of the opponent's sword and hold it fast, allowing him to break the blade of any sword not strengthened with any power of it's own. It is also imbued with the blood of an elementalist, granting this blade with certain elemental properties; such as the ability to extend the sword to a full twenty five inch electrical blade and manipulating the earth beneath his opponents very feet. It shrugs off hard knocks and defies the elements.
The Twins:
Two nearly identical single handed Katanas, the two swords colored differently; one of the purest white and the other of the deepest black, sharing the equal length of twenty five inches and imbued with the most powerful of demonic magic. They burn ravenously with the spirits of two ancient evils, the white burns with Blight-Fire; black flames that crackle with cold energy, and the black burns with Blaze-Fire; white-hot flames that crackle with searing energy. Duel wielding these swords grant him with the power to ignite his foes in both a cascade of cold, black flames and white-hot, lambent ones. If wielded by any other than him they would cause the would-be wielder to freeze into a solid form of ice or to burn into a smoldering pile of ash, beginning from the hand grasping the sword. These effects are instantaneous and irreversible.The Widow's Fangs:
A pair of daggers created by negative energy and bound into material form by collecting the souls of the vilest demons, a truly tedious task. These blades are truly unique in their own way due to the effect they have upon foes. Wielded, they are like any other blade; used for slashing and stabbing, but thrown, they become the most deadliest weapon known to man. Upon impact the weapon itself will melt away into a venomous toxin that will seep instantly into the wound of the target; acting in a deadly combination of Proteolytic, Hemotoxic, Neurotoxic and Cytotoxic venoms, only to return back to the sheathes on his sides after a few short moments. The more blades embedded into an opponent, the more venom delivered, the less likely the opponent will survive.

Alistar Grim was bred from pure insanity and demonic powers. How his parents met was just pure madness. They met when his mom (dementia crow) was on one of her killing sprees of the hundreds of innocent people. His father (Alistar grim) ,who which was a powerful demon, was in the town when she was doing her killings and walked up to her. She saw this unfamiliar male walking towards her and she raised her blade to his throat and said, "Begone from here or you will get a kiss from my blade". He just laughs at her and takes the blade from her and snaps it in half like it was a twig. she was astounded by this display of strength so she asked who he was and he told her his name was Alistar Grim a powerful demon and he liked her killings. they were like a work of art. his mom liked what she heard and his father started to further that night and then they mated. a few weeks later she found out she was pregnant. she was happy but he was not.

The Sword of the Arcane:
A two handed Katana-machete hybrid forged in the flames of Hell, out of an unknown; unbreakable alloy, by his own two hands. It offers a nineteen inch long black blade with a modified Tanto style point and has slots on one side much like the teeth of a comb that could catch the blade of the opponent's sword and hold it fast, allowing him to break the blade of any sword not strengthened with any power of it's own. Upon impact the weapon itself will melt away into a venomous toxin that will seep instantly into the wound of the target; acting in a deadly combination of Proteolytic, Hemotoxic, Neurotoxic and Cytotoxic venoms, only to return back to the sheathes on his sides after a few short moments. The more blades embedded into an opponent, the more venom delivered, the less likely the opponent will survive.

A month ago, the lab got its huge break. Norman Osborn himself tasked Conners with the job of testing the boundaries of something the world had never seen before: an extraterrestrial lifeform. The next 13 days life was good: Assistance was given to the lab, funding poured in, and hope along with it. Conners could hardly keep his hands from waving in utter joy (yep, both of them).
Then one night, Gwen was working late. That’s when it happened. As if gravity didn’t apply the container fell over, broke (though it was supposed to be tempered glass) and the black goo jump right up at Gwen. Background: As a boy he was always interested in science and as a college student he worked for OSCORP. Specifically recombinant DNA. During one if these expirements their was an accident. He had been working on a newly discovered species of artic spider, trying to enhance its ability to produce a substance that kept it from freezing. Instead the spider produced a substance that was extremely cold but was about to still move. One evening when checking on the spider Oberon opened the enclosure. The spider, cloaked, lept out onto his person. Not knowing it had Oberon made the conclusion that the spider must have frozen solid and dissolved. Returning home that night and undressing the spider lept into the bath room as he did. Turning on the shower Oberon stepped in and the spider did as well. Feeling the heat the spider tried to escape and instead landed on Oberon's neck. The spider in fight or flight took to fight and bit Oberon on the back near his spine. The spider died as Oberon slammed against the wall and howled in pain. Reacting with the water and to the bite Oberon jumped out of shower. Retreating to his room he was about to turn then light on when he blacked out. During this time he started to change and the same substance the spider produced Oberon now did.
