Apparent Age: 32

Alias: Imita

Tier: 5.5

Years Spent in SYNBAD: 19 - 12 of those years was leading an unnamed group of New Breeds, teaching them how to survive, teaching them how to be a community. The 7 of those years were after Angelica and him created the firestation and offered a place for those who needed homes. Then of course began the building and organization of creating SYNBAD which Viorel had a significant part to play. He is the current leader of SYNBAD though he always encourages and mentors those he see as taken part in leadership.

Appearance:

A man watches the group with a stern looking, violet irises take in the world and studied it. Those who were tempted to look into his gaze found the world trapped in observant ocular study. Viorel is a man who comes off stern and serious, it is in his mannerisms, he walks upright, his back straight, his chest evenly aligned with his shoulders. He keeps his head up, which brings the harshness of his pensive, sharp angular features.

A raven that sat perched in the corner of the room, with dark violet hair swept back, and skin that reminded others of a porcelain doll. It had hints of peach and hints of rose, though mostly faint, and nearly glossy which betrayed his human silhouette. Viorel was not a man known to choose a bright wardrobe, often clothed in monotone colors, mainly a black coat with twin tails, black slacks, with knee high boots, also black, and often a black sweater that came up to his neck.

This man wasn’t known for expressing much either. His face seemed stuck, frozen in one emotion as if it were carved there by someone long ago. Though those who know Viorel, know while his face may not show warmth, his heart does. The man kind and tolerant, patient like a father, and wise beyond his apparent age. While he may lack the surface humanity it lay hidden within the hollow shell that is the representation of his body.

Though Viorel has remnants of an ancient history. A Romanian accent he cannot quite shake off. His voice rolls like dripping honey, his words often like silk, they wrap around you and keep you listening, despite its lack of extra notes in it. He speaks of a man with pose and elegance, formal, sophisticated, and from another time Viorel is always subject to fascination from others who observe this living puppet man. Stands at 5’10”, 177cm, and weighs 130lbs, 58kg.

To imitate life, to mimic it's graces, it's cruelties, to mirror it's horrors. It is what a performer does. A performer pours all of himself and all of the world he sees and imitates it. I am Imita.

Personality:

Viorel is a critical man, he is straightforward and gets to the point very quickly. He comes off as someone who has no patience with those who want to fluff around. You say what you have to is often Viorel’s philosophy.

He comes off as someone who is unapproachable, though once you peak Viorel’s hobbies or interest you’ll find a chatty man, someone who has a lot of joy and loves life. Which is betrayed by his severe expression. For obvious reasons he comes off emotionally aloof, though Viorel never been a man to not tell people who ask. Simply no one ask and Viorel will not say.

He comes off wiser than his own apparent age, he’s had nine hundred years of life experience to give unto others and he is willing to share it. He comes off as a patience tolerant, father when dealing with those younger than him, especially the youngest members of the New Breed. Though it doesn’t shake off the nickname, Grandpa.

Viorel has a lot of patience, even if it really doesn’t seem so. He’s described as a great leader because of his great calm. He is a sophisticated gentleman who seems to coming from a different era and different age. His mannerisms of politeness may be more extreme to others and some might even find it uncomfortable.Viorel is never struck to say something harsh or rudely toned to other individuals, he never curses, or never speaks ill of his enemies. He never underestimates them or overestimates them and challenges people to prove themselves through actions that back up their words.

Open and honest, a loyal individual who takes every life under his command as a life he is responsible for Viorel has a habit of blaming himself for those individual deaths. He always seeks to be a better individual, trying to learn from others in a time that seems to move fast. In his mind his life went from horses and wagons to cars pretty fast.

Though behind all that stoic sophistication some say lies a weirdo secretly underneath it all. Viorel is passionate about fantasy, he’ll tell you that dragons and gnolls were real at some point, and will tell you stories about how they went extinct or were killed turned to myth and legend. Viorel is happy to teach others how to wood carve and seems to enjoy the company. He’ll also tell you unnecessary things you do not need to know. He’ll ask questions about the world around him as well with curiosity, though may reject the knowledge if he finds it “dumb”.

While Viorel offers a lot to others, he does give the air of someone fairly lonely at times. Because so many rely on him, few ask him how he feels and Viorel has a habit of shutting down and falling into unexpressed depression. He can also be a cruel man to those who have struck a chord in Viorel’s morality. Anyone who hurts or harms his children, as that is what he calls anyone in LHA be prepared to face the wrath of Viorel. Any damage you have done to them be it death or fatal wounds be sure to be prepared for tens time the pain you have done unto them. He can also come off very devout. Slightly more religious than modern religious practices he can come off err very very “early” century faithful.

Skills:

Tactics and Strategy -

Viorel’s power requires a lot of personal maintenance, it’s something he has had to learn to manage. A lot of his power requires tactical and strategic thinking before plunging head first into a situation. And with that knowledge his power has given to him, it is something Viorel can do with relative ease in any other given situation. Knowing how to handle and tackle the next situation that may arise.

Strong Leadership -

There is one thing everyone can agree upon Viorel has strong leadership skills. While he may come off as unapproachable and severe, the truth is once you understand Viorel’s mostly harmless you see a man who knows how to lead his people and guide them.

Perceptive Observation -

Viorel has an eye for detail. He can tell when someone is trying to cheat him or lie to him. He can tell when someone has tried to deceive him by moving objects around. It’s very hard to catch Viorel off guard. He looks for the finer details because his work has always been to look at the tinier details in life.

Intimidation -

Viorel is not oblivious that he can be an intimidating figure to many. It's a very good thing to use then when you need to pry information out of other people and Myles handing them soda doesn't work.

Brewing Tea -

Traveling the world has given Viorel unique experiences in life. One of them is the study of brewing tea from culture to culture. He likes to entertain those interested with various techniques and history of tea brewing. If it sounds as dry as you think it does, it probably as as dry as you think it is.

Wood Carving -

While true Viorel probably never needed the skill of wood carving, he finds personal peace in the activity. And by understanding how wood carving is naturally done, it gives an authenticity to his artifact manipulation that could not match by others who manipulate artifacts. There is a sincerity because this is a knowledge Viorel has physical experience with.

Sewing and Knitting -

Many of his puppets clothing and materials were made by himself. Thus Viorel is effective at sewing and knitting.

Hobbies:

Storytelling -

A marionettes true calling is to bring back the stories that people heard from their mother and fathers to life. Viorel loves to tell people stories and he’ll often take them up on request as well. He enjoys the love and joy it places into others. He enjoys that it inspires others.

Reading -

It doesn’t really matter what genre, though Viorel enjoys fantasy only to criticize that it wasn’t like that in his times, but a good storyteller needs to research his material before performing it.

Weapon: Needles, they are technically sewing needles, but they do go nicely into soft parts of people’s skin if need be.

Equipment: Emergency sewing kit, bits of fabric, and bits of string usually. If he has to fix a jerkin, or has to fix the helm of a knight’s skirt. Most of this is carried in his Figurine case, in the bottom compartment, and his puppets are held in the center compartment with a viewing window.

Fighting Style: Puppeteer Waltz - Viorel is not going to be doing backflips and fighting with swords. Though he conducts his puppets like a conductor conducts an orchestra. Simple swaying hand motions and slight footsteps if need be when needing to get out of the way. His hand motions are elegant, and soft, they are not boisterous, or dramatic. But in the dark illuminated by a faint psychic string few could see they could say that he looks like an elegant swan.

Strength: Viorel doesn’t possess any super strength or anything like that. People would assume an autonomous puppet man might have more strength than a human, but the reality of the situation is that he’s quite average in the strength department. Viorel is not mean to make damage either, he doesn’t do too well taking strong blows from others. He doesn't have good resistance and can easily break with the right amount of strength.

Endurance: Physically Viorel’s endurance is pretty shit, he has average running speed, he has average strength and average endurance in survival situations or sustaining wounds. Though mentally Viorel can expel psychic energy with little effort, as his psychic energy drains his stamina he has had to spend the years honing enduring how long he can hold his psychic control to his puppets. And how to expel psychic energy without completely draining himself of energy.

Willpower: This is probably the department Viorel excels at the most. Not only does he stand strong no matter the circumstance, it is difficult to break Viorel. That and he is immune to telepathy and other mental abilities. Something about him they cannot quite read or break through. Maybe because Viorel doesn’t necessarily “think” like the rest of us. It’s more an instinct or feeling that drives Viorel, or a motivation. He is not easy to break and he’d be the last to break mentally.

Speed: Another area where Viorel is merely average at best.

Reaction Speed: Viorel is quick enough to react at least to escape harm's way or know when to retreat. Probably one of the few areas Viorel is exceptional at. He’s probably even better than Myles. His psychic energy gives him a feeling. It’s not something he notices with his eyes, but the aura given off from others.

Name of Ability: Storyteller

Class: Psychic

Character Theme: I am no devil worshipper. Once my puppets brought joy into the lives of those who wanted to see their stories they loved come to life. Then my puppets brought despair when hysteria spread like wildfire, words like diablo. Now I am surrounded by melancholy, a puppet master on the cover of some modern movie, he is a serial killer. A puppet master on the cover of some comic book, he is a villain. Perhaps, we can no longer bring people joy. Though maybe we can inspire them once again. To show them the old tales. Knights and wizards come alive to protect them by a puppet master.

Ability Capabilities: It is difficult to condense Viorel’s ability into a few short sentences. In a nutshell someone could consider his ability as mere artifact manipulation. Though the more complicated explanation is that Viorel can imbue inanimate objects with psychic energy which gives the capability of controlling those objects in various ways. Some weirder in ways than others.
Qualities of Capabilities:

So what does Artifact Manipulation mean exactly? For Viorel it is controlling his puppets with psychic energy that connects him to the artifact. This gives Viorel a few abilities that he utilizes. A better word for his puppets are automatons. His psychic energy is almost the equivalent to say uploading software to a computer. A puppet comes “programmed” with the idea of its “design”. They have limited willpower and limited sense of self, so that way Viorel doesn’t have to give them direct orders at all times in combat. It is part instinct and part conducted.

First we have to understand the fundamentals. His puppets do not have sentience. They have awareness of their function, but that is about it. They can only move when Viorel imbues them with his psychic energy. They have instinct, but not quite willpower. We’re not having a puppet uprising anytime soon.

Psychic Strings -

These are the fundamentals of Viorel’s control. They are the strings of life, they are strings that are attached to the puppets psychic imprint. The psychic imprint left by him when he designed the object that he so wished to control.

Psychic Storage -

Another fundamental of Viorel’s is to store his psychic energy into the objects that he so wil control later on. The reason why his puppets are so lifelike is due to the energy stored inside of them that gets them to act more than puppets. He can transfer his energy into the object he so desires to connect to his psychic wires. This psychic transfer also has a genetic memory inside of it, it’s what gives the puppet an idea or instinct of what it is supposed to do.

Artifact Compression -

This is Viorel’s secret to transporting a large amount of puppets, that are not quite all puppet size. He can compress artifacts into a smaller form. Though he can only bring them back to their original size. He cannot make them bigger than what they were.

Psychic Making -

It had been mentioned before that Viorel really didn’t need to learn wood carving. Actually many of his more outrageous shaped puppets have been molded and crafted through physical materials like wood, but with his psychic energy. As long as Viorel has an image in mind of what he wants to design, his psychic energy can carve it out of the material in front of it. Like the 1100 century version of a 3D printer several hundred years before 3D printers.

Life Puppet -

If you ever wanted to know the secret of Viorel’s longevity it is this technique that he has accepted in its use. A blank puppet with no name, given no purpose, lies in runic symbols, and is fed psychic energy over the months, maybe even years, till one day it is given the capability of life. That life in a ritual that brings Viorel back from the death will be performed. A ritual that Viorel only bestowed on his wife Gemina. A responsibility he will not ask of his New Breed children. It requires his blood of his fresh dead corpse to be drained into the puppet and his heart placed in the chest that remains open to accept his still beating heart. The requires another energy to complete the ritual. This Life Puppet in emergencies can only be performed once a year. It requires too many components for it to be effective form of thwarting death all the time.

With heart, blood, and his psychic energy living inside of it the puppet becomes alive. It is said that it is this ritual witnessed once that inspired the tales of Pinocchio.

Strengths of Abilities:

This is probably what you were waiting for. The puppets to this ability. We can talk all day about how he makes puppets, but if he has no puppets it wouldn’t be his theme nor his strength. The strength in his ability is merely the imagination it takes to work out various skills of combats. Viorel has the capability of controlling 10 puppets though it is a taxing feat. He chooses not to, favoring tactic and strategy choosing suitable pieces for suitable situations rather than maxing out on numbers.

*Goblin Notes: The Goblin in the Jester outfit named Blinky. It is named Blinky because that's the name it calls itself. See Blinky is not actually one of Viorel's puppets, everyone thinks Blinky is a puppet, but the reality of the situation is something as far back as several several several, you get the picture, centuries ago Blinky the Goblin mistook Viorel's Goblin Puppets as real. Declaring itself King of the Pack. Blinky still hasn't noticed his friends don't move when Viorel isn't controlling them. Nor does anyone think Blinky will catch on. Viorel notes; Goblins are slow aging, but not ageless, and they cannot tell time it really was only the 1760s, more like the 1780s that he came to me. Blinky redacts; thatsa longah ago. Viorel; not really. Blinky redacts; bah hoomany thingy dusn't know dates. Viorel; that would be you.

Weaknesses of Ability:

While psychic energy accompanies the mind, it also accompanies the body it takes stamina to hold and control another being. It takes concentration and focus to control the massive amount of individuals Viorel has to control. Each having different strategies and steal having to slightly command them on how to work with one another. While Viorel is not a complainer it can leave him stress migraines, and make him feel drained and tired from the ordeal. It’s also very possible he can drain himself of his energy if he strains his abilities too far to the max. No one of the New Breeds knows what it really takes to jump from one Tier to the next. Is it maxing out your powers at every opportunity? Is it holding back? Viorel has a habit of holding back, mostly probably due to the pressure it puts on his head and how tired it makes him feel afterward.

Maxing himself out on his ability leaves him too drained to do much of anything and there is quite the possibility of Viorel dying if he drains himself too much of his energy. His life is not necessarily sustained by a life force, but only held together by his own psychic energy. With a combination of holding himself back with how much power he is capable versus how much power he exerts, Viorel has a habit of coming into battles underpowered at first. He likes to take the cautious approach. He’s prone to partial seizures as well, he’ll talk to you fine, and doesn’t lose conscious, it might be the shaking of his hand he cannot control, or the shaking of his leg. To anyone who doesn’t know Viorel it might look like restlessness. In reality his powers due put a toll on him.

Limitations of Ability:

There are still some heavy limitations to Viorel’s abilities. While yes in total he can have 7 goblins this is not within context of a dragon. He cannot have 7 goblins and 1 dragon. Instead it is more like 2 goblins and a dragon. But he can split the cost of an Orc and a Dragon, but that’s ridiculous amount of power and exertion on his part. Any creature like a drake or dragon with extra abilities like fire breath expends psychic energy. The drake or the dragon are not technically producing these effects themselves, they are producing them through whatever energy Viorel must expel to make them do so. It’s psychic fire, or psychic gas. But Viorel cannot do these things outside of controlling those creatures.

A lot of Viorel’s ability is calculative management. It’s managing what you need beforehand and costing as little energy as possible to achieve. His abilities and his puppets work in combination with each other, but different combinations are too expensive and have a massive impact on himself later on. While the combinations are near endless. Numbers are limited and in short supply with how much he could feasibly handle.

Viorel cannot control anything else with his psychic strings, unless it has his psychic signature inside of it. Because what Viorel controls is not the object itself, but is manipulating the energy stored inside the object.

Quotes:

“There are many interpretations of God it seems over the years. He is either represented extremely flawed or extremely pure. I think it is because a power that grand and in the scope of the universe is not something people can truly fathom. That kind of knowledge is not that bestowed on mere mortals. Even as a New Breed I probably do not understand God’s plight. However, I do know that the best interpretation I have is that God is a role model with exemplary behaviors that should be looked at and used in one’s behavior. I do not want perfect beings without their flaws though, then you have lost what it means to be human. I simply believe living in a Godly manner is one where an individual strives for godly behaviors like compassion, charity, mixed in with the things that make them individuals.”

“I think knowledge is a fool’s errand. Those with knowledge flaunt it and those without it believe they have it. I am not saying that one cannot be wise nor am I saying one cannot have knowledge. I believe though that both the ones with knowledge and the ones without ultimately fall into the same pitfall. One believes others are beneath them. Another believes others should follow them. I believe that true knowledge is recognizing that you always will know less than others and always strive for learning more.”

“I am no representative of a group of people. To say that I have more knowledge than the individuals themselves have about themselves is ultimately disrespectful. I will provide general knowledge and education, but anything you want to know about a individual or more in depth knowledge you will have to ask them. I refuse to give out information I don’t have the answer to.”

“It is fascinating to watch the growth of technology. I am still unsure how they manage within the last few years to compress CDs to fit on MP3 players.”

Reputation:

Living for 900 years has its perks, Viorel is actually well known at least in the shadows. There have been findings and recordings of him throughout history. Though no one really knew the man up to the start of recording devices. Now Viorel has become somewhat of a public face, despite him not wanting to. He blames Angelica for that. As Viorel doesn’t care to speak for the needs of so many. He doesn’t believe he has any grander wisdom than anybody else. He sees what he does know as common sense that is otherwise ignored or not understood by them. He believes everyone is capable of the knowledge he bestows.

Those who know his work respect him. Those who follow him love him like a father. Viorel tries his hardest, but doesn’t seek reverence. Nor does he care to be. He wants everyone to be capable of their own advice and knowledge.

Character Info

Name: Jack Valent

Age: 26

Alias: Edgelord, or sometimes The Edgelord

Tier: 3

Years Spent in SYNBAD: 2

Appearance:

Jack is somebody you could easily describe as "handsome", what with his sharp jawline and well-groomed dirty blond hair, both atop his head and on his face. Piercing blue eyes and a muscular frame about 180cm high complete the image, further assisted by a soothing voice with a very slight Irish accent to it and simple shirt-and-trouser getups of various colours that emphasize his physique, usually unintentionally. The simple clothing is important for him, as in a pinch...

...he can strip himself down to his underpants and produce blades covering his entire body. The above image is not precisely indicative of how he looks in this state, but it is a decent enough representation; typically, he will also hide his face with these blades, masking his identity (for what it's worth, anyway) and protecting his head from injury.

Personality: Despite his superhero name and harsh backstory, Jack is a surprisingly mellow individual, his attitude bordering on irreverent, even tangential to a situation at times, a fact that might make him seem quite odd if he weren't so calm otherwise. Though he certainly faces both internal and external moral conundrums as to the nature of his abilities, he tends to approach them and other situations with a "well, it happens" mindset, shrugging off trauma with relative ease and not typically looking back at his past too much.
This does not, of course, imply that he never feels negative emotion - for instance, deliberate and spiteful reminders of his past or other similar tragedies will lead him to grow very quiet, and he has a tendency to try and help people whenever he can, to the extent that he'll almost always assist somebody in trouble to the best of his ability unless it's physically impossible for him to reach them.
Something worth noting is that despite his tendency to offer himself as a source of advice and friendliness to others, he has a lot of trouble actually forming close bonds with people, be they platonic or romantic, and tends to come up with reasons internally not to pursue such bonds further than he already has. Completely coincidentally, Jack is bisexual, which has led to him having a bit of attraction towards a number of his teammates, though he tends to hide it behind his usual mellow persona. In particular, cute boys like Luka and Myles vex him greatly; he reminds himself regularly that Myles is straight and also very reptilian, and that Luka being telepathically bonded to Killer Queen basically means any physical interaction between them would indirectly affect a cat too, even if it is fully sapient.

Skills: Swordsmanship - Naturally, Jack's power encourages him to utilise his natural weapons to their fullest extent, which generally means practicing in and studying swordsmanship on the regular. More particularly, his practice includes work in various styles, ranging from historical European martial arts to kenjutsu, giving him a wide, albeit somewhat shallow, range of expertise, combined with an unusually deep pool of knowledge about them.
Fisticuffs - Jack has also taken up a limited degree of practice and study in nominally unarmed martial arts, most prominently boxing and streetfighting, though his theoretical knowledge again far surpasses his practical skill. On the one hand, he has the strength to do reasonably well in these combat styles even with relatively little skill; and on the other hand, one gains an edge in such things when one can literally produce an edge from themselves at any time they desire.
Weightlifting, and lifting in general - It's been suggested to Jack recently that he take up weightlifting to further improve his already-substantial strength. To that end, he's managed to figure out the best routines for doing so, and in the process further taught himself how to lift more conventional objects properly too, making him a good choice for hauling heavy items around. It helps that he can also recover more rapidly from any injuries he deals himself unintentionally, too.
Analysis - Jack is not traditionally intelligent, at least beyond normal; as far as logical thought goes, he is quite average indeed. He is, however, able to chug through data like a machine, and is perfectly happy to read through and process long lists for hours on end, which perhaps explains why he is able to retain so much theoretical information on various topics.
Cooking - Jack regularly maintains that one isn't really a proper adult unless they can cook their own meals, something he's had to do since a young age. He'd call himself decent, compared to somebody like Gordon Ramsey; most others would say he's far better at it than he gives himself credit for.
Stripping - Years of stripping down to his underwear immediately prior to a fight has had two effects on Jack: wiped out any semblance of shame about his body and figure, and given him the ability to strip down in comparatively tiny amounts of time. In the simplistic clothing he wears to facilitate this, he considers even a couple of seconds to be quite slow.

Hobbies: Combat training, exercise, reading, supporting his friends and allies.

Combat Info

Weapons: Nothing, aside from the blades he can grow out of his body.

Equipment: Again, nothing, aside from the blades he can grow out of his body. Sometimes he breaks them off and throws them at people, but he absolutely prefers melee combat.

Fighting Style: You might expect somebody whose body can produce infinite swords to be quite unrefined when it comes to combat. As it happens, flailing wildly with a bunch of swords is rather unlikely to significantly hinder anybody; thus, he's actually taken a sensible approach and made time to train his ability to fight with his blades like actual weapons. Moreover, this training has covered many different styles of swordsmanship and unarmed combat, making his combat style a little unpredictable - albeit rather simplistic, once one realises what he's doing. A jack of all trades does not a master make.

Strength: Jack's physical strength is, at present, within human limits - he can match up with highly-trained combatants fairly readily without any particular strength training of his own, but his strength is definitely below peak human levels at the moment. That does not suggest he can't train that strength to beyond human limits, of course, merely that his current level of strength requires no particular extra effort to maintain.

Endurance: In terms of actual damage resistance, Jack is no more resilient than any regular human. However, the unique manner in which he uses his power affords him the equivalent of a suit of armour whenever he requires it, not to mention barriers and blades to block attacks with as needed. Additionally, damage he does take heals far faster than an equivalent wound in a normal human, letting him survive otherwise mortal wounds so long as they don't kill him within perhaps half a minute or so; this regeneration also applies to microinjuries such as muscle tears whilst working out or running, effectively granting him a great deal more stamina than the vast majority of humans could ever hope to possess.

Willpower: Jack's nigh-inhuman mental fortitude isn't based so much in his ability to weather horrible circumstances, as it is in disregarding them entirely. He has a tendency to bear witness to events that would traumatise others and say "aw, that sucks", as if he'd dropped a piece of food on the ground rather than, for example, seen somebody get brutally slaughtered by a monster that should not be. He's theorised that he may be a bit of a psychopath, or at least have some condition associated with a malformed trauma response, as he has seen a lot of people die in his time and has barely been affected by them. He certainly misses those he is close to when they're gone, of course, but to some extent, they are essentially replacable in his mind.

Speed: Jack's enhanced strength does offer a bit of extra travel speed simply because his leg muscles can push him harder, but generally, that is counteracted in combat by the fact that he is covering himself in metal. Whilst not especially less hindered than any medieval knight would be by an extra seventy or so kilograms of weight spread across his body, he's generally only as fast as a regular human in most aspects.

Reaction Speed: One does not train in a wide variety of weapon-based martial arts without becoming quite quick to react. In a fight, Jack is able to respond to most mundane attacks at least adequately, though rapid projectiles such as bullets and even low-level speedsters are generally still well beyond him; in other words, his reflexes match those of a regular human fighter of perhaps above average skill.

Ability Info

Name of Ability: Universe of Endless Blades

Class: Physical - Generation

Character Theme: Jack tends to rush towards a battle almost recklessly, his body seemingly composed entirely of swords of bone or metal, deflecting bullets and fists alike, with his weaponised frame reforming even as it takes damage. Yet despite this eagerness, he is nothing if not courteous in a fight, dueling his foes in a manner that to the public eye is artful, even stylish, especially compared to how he'd be expected to combat them. He is no mere berserker, but a true swordsman.

Ability Capabilities: Jack's primary power is to generate blades out of his body, at any point and at any angle, to a seemingly limitless extent. The material of these blades can be composed of just about any solid substance, from bone to foam to rubber to steel, and though their size varies, his power has a surprising degree of versatility to it. His secondary powerset, supporting his main ability, combines additional strength somewhat below peak human with low-level regeneration enough to greatly enhance his endurance and stall out mortal wounds to render them as merely briefly-debilitating injuries.

Qualities of Ability: The most obvious use of his powers is to create blades to fight with, out of materials as soft as foam or as hard as titanium or even harder, all typically sharp enough to at least have a good chance of cutting into even very hard defenses with his high strength to back it up. What people often don't realise about a thick piece of metal with an edge is that it also has a flat, one that can block or deflect attacks; consequently, Jack regularly uses his power to generate what amounts to a full suit of armour for himself, one which rapidly restores itself if damaged and has a tendency to seriously injure anyone who tries to pull it away. In a pinch, he can even turn parts of this armour into different materials, such as rubber to absorb the force of an impending impact with a wall, foam to strike people without seriously hurting them, or a mixture of substances to ensure their effects overlap one another.

Strengths of Ability: Evidently, Jack is never without either a weapon or protection, and high quality options at that. If he needs a new weapon, he can generate it almost immediately; if one of his weapons breaks, he can just draw it back into himself and push out a new one; he can outlast most opponents in terms of sheer stamina; and if all else fails and he takes a deep injury to his flesh, he'll likely be back to normal within a few minutes if he isn't finished off properly. All in all, he is almost scarily relentless to fight against.

Weaknesses of Ability: Unfortunately, the ability to generate as many swords as one could ever need does not especially encourage ranged combat - though Jack can generate fairly large blades, the best this does is extend the reach of his attacks, and when generating a lot of blades, they add weight to his person and can somewhat encumber him, especially if they aren't arranged properly and clash with one another at the joints. Additionally, he is technically generating the blades just beneath his skin, then forcing them through it, a process that isn't exactly harmless or painless. Even if the wounds heal around the blades relatively quickly, there is a brief moment of blood loss as a result; thus, forcing him to recover and regenerate his blades repeatedly can overwhelm him, either due to losing too much blood too quickly to regenerate it, or just due to sheer pain-induced shock.

Limitations of Ability: His blades are often very sharp, and can be highly dangerous depending on the material they are made of. However, they do have to be made out of solid and, most importantly, relatively simple materials that he knows of - titanium, steel, bone, and even radioactive substances like uranium are perfectly reasonable, but he can't produce anything that requires magic or some form of ultra-advanced science to produce, though mundane compounds and alloys are perfectly plausible. Equally, however, any given blade cannot be made of multiple different substances - as stated, a single compound is reasonable, but the substance in question must be uniform, so he can't produce steel blades with wooden handles, for example.
His regeneration also has a limited rate to itself, and cannot restore lost pieces from nothing - he could likely heal from having an artery severed or even being stabbed through the heart, but not from having his heart torn out or his head torn off entirely, and whether or not he survived having an arm ripped off, he would lose that arm permanently. Finally, whilst perhaps something that's easy to overlook for how obvious it is, he specifically produces blades, and as such they must always have at least one sharp edge, whether or not that edge is actually able to cut based on the substance it is made of.

Image and Public Perception

Biography:

Quote: "I mean, okay, sometimes life sucks, but what about it? It's mostly not bad, whether you're a human or a New Breed, you just have to find those good parts. Besides, superpowers are cool."

Reputation: One would not be wrong to expect a man who generates swords to kill people, and Jack certainly isn't one to shy away from the act if it's necessary. If. A life taken is not so easily given back, something he knows all too well, and he makes absolutely sure to exercise caution in this regard - mere petty theft isn't worth slaying a man over; threatening the life of an innocent, on the other hand, surely is. Consequently, he's developed a reputation as somewhat chivalrous, but a bit dark at times, and certainly not the sort of hero who lets mass-murderers escape from prison time and time again.

Age: 20

Alias: The Summoner

Tier: Tier 5

Years Spent in SYNBAD: 10

Appearance:

Jensen definitely looks normal - and the longer you look at him, the more you think that maybe he shouldn't be part of this group. Nothing about him seems off - even his general aura isn't too serious. He has a mop of sandy brown hair on top of his head and his birght azure eyes compliment this well. He has a body type which can be described as athletic, but isn't anything too impressive when you place him with other athletes. Like his fellow athletes, however, he has mildly tanned skin. He also stands at a height of 6'2".

He is typically found in different clothing. Honestly, he cycles through a lot of fashion trends or sometimes he doesn't follow it. From jackets and jeans to muscle shirts and cargo pants, he can switch between it. He's in the season yesterday, he's out of it today - that's just how it is since he doesn't particularly care what he puts on. Oftentimes when he goes out to buy clothing, he gets help from some of his friends - both normal and New Breeds - so he takes their suggestions to heart and thus this kind of thing happens.

Underneath his clothing is a variety of tattoos. His right arm is covered in a sleeve of black inked tattooos - creating intricate designs that only he can understand. It extends all the way onto his chest. These tattoos are linked to his actual magical ability as they appear whenever he learns how to summon another creature. They glow bright blue whenever he activates that certain summon. His costume is made to show these tattoos off so he has a sleeveless hoodie over some casual clothing. He has a half mask that only covers the top of his head - showing only his mouth.

As expected from someone of his age and physique, he has a rather low but silvery voice with a cheerful tone most of the time. Some of his friends tease him that his voice is enough to make anyone's heart flutter a little bit.

Personality: Jensen has been the popular kid throughout his school because of his athletic ability, moderately good looks, and kind persaonlity. He has a good heart and is pretty approachable despite the tattoos that have been appearing on his skin ever since he was a kid. He's the type of kid who doesn't break the rules in school and rarely talks badly of anyone. It's why he's remembered as a goody two shoes in his school - which completely disregards the fact that he has weird tattoos on him and thus his physical appearance isn't quite remembered. But then again, he had to wear long sleeved shirts all the time when he was in school because of this.

Jensen is an empathetic person - picking up the mood quickly and even slipping into silence when someone needs it. This also extends to animals and spirits, hence why his skill with making contracts is above that of normal. He can lend an ear to anyone who wishes it. He's not good at giving advices though. He's not as experienced as he wants to be and this leads him to just speculate on the idea of what to do. Though he is very closed off about his actual feelings which leads him to battle with his own emotions by himself - but that's how he just is. Yes he is open with his thoughts but rarely his feelings.

To his friends, he is seen as the 'mom' type of the group. He takes care of those around him rather well. He sometimes sinks into temptation and has been drinking alcohol when he was still underaged. He drank mostly because of his friends, so it easily shows how quickly he succumbs to peer pressure. However, he soon learned his lesson that he should only drink moderately so he does continue drinking, but only small amounts compared to his colleagues. But that doesn't mean he's still not reckless and sometimes he pushes himself past his limits because of his friends.

Which brings us to the next point - Jensen is weak willed. He does not want others to think badly of him. He does everything so people are happy with him - even if it does go against what he feels is right especially when those people are his friends. Quickly influenced and convinced, it becomes a danger when he befriends and trusts someone who aims to manipulate him which is rather easy. After all, he is a trusting person and he doesn't so easily revoke his trust in someone until he has solid and undeniable proof that that person plans to betray him at some point.

Skills:
> Quick Learner: Aside from his hardworking attitude, Jensen's personality is complimented well with this. He can easily pick things up when it's taught to him or if he's exposed to it for a certain amount of time.

> House chores: Since Jensen was orphaned early in life and then taken in by a working relative, he learned how to take care of his house by himself. He also used to help out the New Breeds whenever he stayed over with Viorel and others. From cooking to cleaning, he can do it rather well.

> Interaction: Jensen is the master of interaction. Extroverted and friendly, Jensen can strike up a conversation with anyone if he so wished. That's just how he is. Hey, does that guy look like he needed help? Ask him! Does that girl seem like she's being harassed? Help her out!

> Empathy: Jensen has the ability to bond with anything given a time. While he can't understand animals through speech, he has been shown to be quite good at getting along with them. This also makes him the de facto choice when it comes to taking care of animals. This has extended towards spirits as well.

Hobbies:
> Sports and exercising: He's an athlete. Anything that involves anything phsyical is actually quite enjoyable to him. When he doesn't have to do anything, you would often find him exercising.

> Cleaning: Oddly enough, when he doesn't feel like exercising, you would find him cleaning something up. Perhaps it is something that was carried over to him feeling the need to care for those within his home.

> Foreign Langauges: He actually is fascinated with foreign languages and is trying to learn more about it. He has learned Spanish, French and Latin over the years he's trying. He has tried Mandarin but is still trying since he's having trouble with their characters.

Weapons: He does wear brass knuckles whenever he goes into a fight when he needs to get up close and personal. He is mildly proficient in boxing, but is nowhere near professional level. He tends to pick up other weapons when his brass knuckles aren't enough.

Equipment: N/A

Fighting Style: While he often just sends his summons to fight for him, as per how you would normally do, he sometimes takes to the battlefield as well if needed - utilizing any skill he had obtained during his time at sports.

Strength: He's rather physically fit. He won't be throwing anyone without breaking a sweat, but his punches does hurt. He can tank more hits than the average person, but when faced against those who are powerful - he might not last as long as those who are enhanced physically. He will not fare well after at least four well placed punches.

Endurance: He can keep up physically with others and can keep going on for far longer than normal people. He can run a good distance before getting tired, a side effect of being an athlete. He's still a human, however, so he needs to eat and sleep in exchange for the amount of energy that he spends every day. Which is a lot. He's been seen to eat twice as much as the otehrs.

Willpower: He doesn't like leaving things half-baked. So he tries to finish anything he wants to finish. Though if it's really difficult, he will feel very tired and would have to rest for a while. He can be easily manipulated through words and the likes. But his mental fortitude for anyone who's trying to read his mind or anything related to trying to poke at his mind would be hit by the emotional tiredness of dealing with spirits.

Speed: He's not too fast but he's not too shabby either. He doesn't specialize in this area as he's more of a heavy puncher than an agile dodger.

Reaction Speed: He has mildly excellent reaction speed since he's involved in fast paced games. He can dodge attacks if given enough room to do so and his speed allows it, but most especially, he can block attacks coming to him or warning others of the danger they are in.

Name of Ability: Runic Summoning

Class: Magic

Character Theme: Summoners didn't exactly have a good reputation as they were often misinterpreted as the same as necromancers. It wasn't until very recently did they have been correctly labeled - not that summoners hated necromancers. So, anyhow, summoners though rare nowadays have become more accepted. In everyday life, these summoned creatures have been used for a variety of things that help out for physical labor. Jensen typically doesn't care much for outwards appearance while he fights, hence why he appears to be reckless instead of graceful. Jensen has been seen as, ironically, the 'bad boy' of the group because of his tattoo runes and his head to head fighting when it comes to more humanoid enemies.

Ability Capabilities: Runic summoning is a branch of summoning where instead of chanting or physically creating magic circles on the spot to summon, they just use their runes. This saves time as the rites of summoning is shorter than the normal summoning rites as it users only need to tap the rune and call out the summon's name.

Qualities of Ability: Jensen isn't special amongst the New Breeds who can use Runic Summoning, though his ability to befriend summons to create contracts is rather unique to him.

Strengths of Ability: Summoners use creatures to fight for them - hence they are mostly out of the way of fighting. Runic Summoners also can quickly summon their creatures so it takes less time than normal.

Weaknesses of Ability: Despite what he acts like, summoning creatures is tiring so he needs to not do much for a certain amount of time after he has summoned something. And he can't just summon every single creature without feeling the effects. When he summons one creature, he doesn't feel any adverse effects as it continues to be there. When he has three creatures out all at the same time, though, this means that he's going to feel the effects of continuously feeding them energy and will weaken him resulting in him only being able to stand around as they fight. It should be noted that Runic Summoners also hear their summons' voices in his head even when they aren't out, which is mildly disorienting. But when they start picking up agitation, it becomes more and more apparent and he begins to have splitting headaches. There is also a chance for the user to suddenly collapse when things get too intense with their spirits - especially when the user is mentally weak at some point and a spirit might take over.

Limitations of Ability: While technically his ability will only grow from there, Jensen can only develop it further by meeting any creature or spirit out there that can be contracted which is far in between. For a Runic Summoner such as himself, it is extra harder because each summon must consent to making a contract with another summon - and the more you have, the more difficult it becomes.

Biograph:

Quote: "You know, I think people should just really accept all of us. After all, haven't we established that we're all unique in our own ways? We're just... a bit more different. But in the end, we're all humans and we're all here to help each other."

Reputation: As a student, he was a pretty popular kid and he has a lot of connections and friends from all around. Since he stopped after high school, they're all worried about his wellbeing but he does assure them that he's in a good place. As a hero, he's often seen as the mysterious bad boy of the group and he's accumulated a small fan base because of his contrasting personality and appearance. He has a pretty good reputation among the people and the loyal followers of what SYNBAD does has followed him grow up as well. So anyone who has been following them knows him to be a pretty chill person.

Theme Song:

Others:

  • There are actual people who know his secret identity but they are very close friends whom he trusts and they haven't betrayed it yet.
  • He actually does have a girlfriend - who also got the personal interview to also spread awareness for New Breeds and the likes. She's known his secret identity for years prior to them dating and continues to actively support him and the organization. Her name is Faye Carvajal - Half-Spanish, Half-American.

Name: Luka Young

Age: 19

Alias: Samhain (pronounced Sah-Ween)

Tier: 3

Years Spent in LHA: 1

Appearance: Luka can easily be mistaken for a girl, which is exactly how he likes it. He looks young, with a short stature and round face, and dresses in a feminine way. He has chin-length blond hair that he doesn’t bother to keep out of his eyes, and a distinct fashion sense. He is fond of bright or pastel colors and plentiful accessories, and can easily be picked out of a crowd based on his flamboyant attire. A frequent cause of frustration for him is his young appearance; most people meeting him just don’t believe he’s over eighteen. His high voice doesn’t help things. Basically, imagine a normal-sounding person took a huff of helium. Now imagine them saying “I AM AN ADULT I SWEAR.” He has a nice singing voice, at least.

When in the persona of Samhain, his outfit consists of an orange cat-eared hoodie, black shorts, white boots, a black mask, and black thigh-high stockings underneath kneepads. The fabric is all lightweight and easy to move in. His undershirt is actually a crop top, but you can’t tell under the hoodie.

Personality:
Luka comes off as a very friendly, if strange, person. A lot of the time, he seems to be off in his own world, and in conversation his mind can go weird places. Despite being spacey and sometimes inscrutable, he’s easy to talk to and fun to be around. He’s the kind of person who would start singing out of nowhere just because he felt like it. He has a strange sense of humor, finding comedy in the absurd and slightly scary (He once imagined a horse race in which none of the horses had legs and couldn’t stop laughing for, like, an hour).

While he seems unapologetically unique to an outside observer, Luka actually hides plenty of anxiety and insecurity. He tries his best to be confident in who he is, but he’s used to feeling ashamed of himself. His way of dealing with these feelings isn’t a particularly healthy one: He ignores them, and on occasion copes using hallucinogens. He’s honestly kind of a mess, but he tries.

Skills:
Luka has a talent for music. He likes to sing, and can play the piano and ukulele decently. He has a particular interest in musical theater. That, and death metal.

He knows a huge amount of random, obscure trivia. He can tell you the name of the guy who discovered blood types, but he couldn’t tell you his own. (it’s Karl Landsteiner, by the way.)

Hobbies:
Writing - He likes to write stories. He’s not a master or anything, but his erotic Venom X Reader fanfics have a decent following online.

Acting - Luka absolutely would have been a theater kid in high school if he’d had the opportunity. Recently, he’s been trying to get into the local theater scene.

Name: Killer Queen

Age: 2

Tier: 3

Years Spent in LHA: 1

Appearance: Killer Queen doesn’t look out of the ordinary for a cat. She’s a bit smaller than average, and in healthy physical shape. Her fur is very fluffy, making her appear chubbier than she actually is, and white with grey patches. When powered up, the only difference is the appearance of a third eye that emits orange energy.

Personality: Killer Queen has the personality one would expect from a cat. She’s composed and standoffish, but very affectionate if she likes you enough. She’s not particularly vocal, because she doesn’t need to be, as she does all of her talking telepathically. The side of her that really only Luka gets to see is incredibly sarcastic, but also genuinely caring. She tends to act more like his mom than his cat. Her biggest downfall is how easily distracted she is. God help you if she sees a laser pointer.

Skills:
She is amazing at hunting small animals. If she wasn’t around, Luka’s apartment would have been taken over by squirrels long ago.

She’s surprisingly good at giving advice. Strangely, she seems to have more insight into people’s feelings than many humans (her owner included).

Hobbies:
Sleeping - Like any self-respecting cat, she sleeps through most of the day.

Reading - She likes to take in human culture, but it’s kind of hard to turn pages with her paws.

Weapons: The only weapons Killer Queen uses are her telekinesis and claws if necessary. To make up for his lack of upper body strength, Luka wears gloves with sharp metal spikes on the knuckles. They won’t leave any lasting injuries, but they hurt like a bitch.

Equipment: Luka wears a pouched belt containing basic first aid materials and cat treats.

Fighting Style: Luka doesn’t use any one fighting style in particular, as he isn’t formally trained, but he does have his own strategy. He uses his illusions to distract his opponent and hit them from behind. He’s good at close-range melee, which complements Killer Queen’s longer-ranged telekinetic assault. The idea is to overwhelm the opponent with illusions and battery with small objects until Luka can get some good blows on them.

Strength: Neither Luka nor Killer Queen are particularly strong. Luka can do pull-ups, but it’s because of KQ’s telekinesis, not his own strength.

Endurance: Both of them are pretty average, endurance-wise. Because of her smaller size (and because she’s a cat, duh), Killer Queen can’t take as much damage as Luka can.

Willpower: Luka’s coping method of pretending everything is fine until it actually is fine does work, but only to a certain point. He can hold out longer than plenty of people, but he still has his limits. Killer Queen, while easily startled, excels at keeping a cool head in the long run.

Speed: Speed is where they excel. Killer Queen’s telekinesis makes Luka lighter and faster than he is naturally, and she herself is fast even without her powers.

Reaction Speed: Killer Queen is a bit faster to react than Luka, but both of them have pretty average reaction speed.

Name of Ability: Spooky Scary

Character Theme:
Their whole “act” is based around ghosts, poltergeists specifically. Luka will create spooky illusions while Killer Queen throws things around. They’re a two-man haunting, with Cheshire Cat vibes on the side.

Class: Magic - Illusion

Ability Capabilities: Local Illusions

Qualities of Ability: Luka has the ability to produce illusions around him within roughly a three meter radius, or within a single room (whichever boundary comes first). This can include changing the area around him and his own appearance. Typically, he uses this ability to create ghostly images, like flickering lights, haunting apparitions, and other spooky shit. Some of his favorite goofs include replacing himself with a skeleton and making the walls bleed in the shape of an unflattering picture of someone.

Strengths of Ability: Luka’s strength lies in distraction. He can use illusions as a kind of smoke bomb to disguise his movements, or change his face and clothing to disappear into a crowd.

Weaknesses of Ability: Luka can lose control of his illusions in certain circumstances. In particular, it happens when he gets emotionally distressed or high (which is how this power first manifested).

Limitations of Ability: His illusions are still just illusions; if you touch one and your hand goes straight through it, the effect is kind of ruined.

Class: Psychic

Ability Capabilities: Telekinesis, and Selective Telepathy

Qualities of Ability: In addition to human-level intelligence, Killer Queen can use telekinesis to move objects, as well as herself in a way that resembles flight. She and Luka share a mental bond that allows them to hear each other’s thoughts. Thanks to this bond, she can share some of her telekinesis with Luka, making him much more acrobatic and lighter on his feet than the average person.

Strengths of Ability: It’s not hard to find small enough objects to toss at enemies, and depending on the object, KQ can do some real damage.

Weaknesses of Ability: Using her power isn’t second nature to her; she needs to concentrate on what she’s doing. If she’s distracted or startled, she leaves herself vulnerable.

Limitations of Ability: Her telekinesis has limits; she can’t move anything heavier than herself (with some exceptions, Luka included), and her range is limited to her area of perception. This extends to her bond with Luka. If they aren’t near each other, they won’t be able to communicate.

Biography:

Best-Selling Travel Writer Eliza Young Talks Parenting

“Ugh, this whole interview is bullshit. Forgive me if I don’t want to listen to ten minutes of my mom talking out her ass. I had enough of that when I moved out. She just goes on and on about how packing up and moving your family to another country every six months is a great idea and definitely won’t negatively impact your kid’s life! Like, traveling the world is nice and all, but I think not transferring schools every year is nicer. Oh, and no mention of the homophobia, naturally. Better not say that shit on TV. Don’t want to seem like an asshole in front of the whole country; just in front of your kid. Like I said, bullshit. Sorry for ranting; my parents make me salty.”

Break-In Seemingly Foiled by Poltergeist - Possibly the Work of a New Breed?

“Technically, this one was Killer Queen. Some guys had broken into my apartment, and while I hid and called for help, she used her powers to chase them into the closet and lock them in. When the police came, the robbers were terrified, said the place was haunted. I didn’t mention KQ at all. Just didn’t want a lot of attention pointed our way. Funny thing, that’s actually how I found out about her powers. It had only been a month or so since I adopted her. I kind of freaked out a little, heh. I guess after that, she trusted me enough to let me into her head.”

New Costumed Hero Catches Robber

“This was when I first thought that hero-ing might be for me. It wasn’t even what I meant to do, just luck, really. I was passing a convenience store, and saw that some guy had pulled a gun on the cashier. Something just took over and I snuck in there. I’m pretty proud of how I handled it; I made the guy’s gun look like it was made of tentacles, and he got scared and dropped it. I kept the guy there while the cashier called the cops. Cashier asked me who I was and, hah, this was kind of embarrassing, I kind of panicked and just said ‘don’t worry about it.’ So, that was basically the start of everything. What I was wearing at the time eventually became my costume. Pretty soon after, I realized that me and KQ could make a pretty good team.”

Quote:
“Live fast, eat ass.”

“If God wanted us to be heterosexual, he wouldn’t have made boys... like that.”

“Build a man a fire, and he’ll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm for the rest of his life.”

“I wonder what future me is doing right now. Probably something stupid. Jackass. I hope he dies.”

(Whenever he’s mildly inconvenienced) “We are in the timeline that God abandoned.”

Reputation: Luka and Killer Queen aren’t particularly well known, generally busting smaller-scale crime in the neighborhood they live in. They have a pretty good reputation in the area, as Luka, being the face of the team, is friendly and affable, even to the criminals he busts. He also has a Snapgram account, but he mostly posts cat pictures, aesthetic, and memes.

I'm trying to translate game mechanics to an RP like this. Never really tried this before, but I'd like to think I've done a decent job of it.

GENERAL

Name: Giovanni "Gio" De Luca

Age: 22

Alias: The Silent

Tier: 3

Years Spent in SYNBAD: 5 years

Appearance

Most people would describe him as average. Average height, average build, average-looking face. In terms of appearance, that suits him just fine. When dressing casually, he tends to stick to t-shirts (mostly ones themed around cards), and blue jeans. He wears sneakers, and the occasional ball cap.

When out and about on official SYNBAD business, Giovanni dons the simple outfit of The Silent. A green cloak covers most of his body. His head remains uncovered, but he wears a huge animal skull over it, with the spine trailing down to the ground. This simple look is rather intimidating. He also wears bandages around his forearms.

Personality: Giovanni is a rather kind and open person. He likes making friends, and especially loves making others laugh. He can kind of come off as a bit of a comedian and a goofball, even if his humor shifts between normal, morbid, and sarcastic. However, when people get to know him, they'll see that he tends to be a bit of a realist, not having any idealistic tendencies about his expectations. He would rather not sugar-coat the truth of matters, even if the truth could traumatize someone. After all, fighting to survive in the wild for 10 years will do that to a person. It is because of his hardships that he would rather see everyone laugh. After all, laughter is the best medicine, is it not?

When it comes to interests is where most people see the most interesting face of Giovanni. After joining SYNBAD, he was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. In conversations, he has issues picking up on body language, and will also be unable to control how loud he is at times. The best way to describe his social life is "active, but odd". He will occasionally go into a long-winded and one-sided speech on certain topics of given the chance.

Skills:
Quick Learner- Due to the unusal trait of his powers and his past, Gio is a quick learner, absorbing new concepts almost like a sponge takes in water.

Strategist- Gio is a very good strategist, capable of forming both long- and short-term plans. On top of that, he has learned to adapt his plans on the fly.

Improvisation- As stated before, Gio is able to improvise on-the-spot. This allows him to formulate loose plans that can accomdate for a variety of situations. However, extremely unexpected circumstances can catch him off-guard.

Hobbies:

Card Games- Perhaps as a direct side-effect of his power, Gio certainly loves card games. He especially loves TCG's, as they remind him of his own ability. He avidly plays, and attends tournaments when off-duty.

Reading- Gio loves books. Especially fantasy books. He is usually seen with a book in his hand when not on a mission.

COMBAT INFORMATION

Weapon: A simple dagger. It was gifted to him by his dad before he was killed by a pack of wolves. It seems to be magical, capable of channeling his powers into it.

Equipment:
Deck of Cards- A set of cards that Gio always carries on his person. These cards are special, in that they are magical. They can grant him special abilities.

Deck Box- A holster that contains a simple, but durable, leather box for his cards. It has two sections, for the Draw Pile and the Discard Pile.

Relics- Rare and powerful magical artifacts that grant Gio permanent abilities. These effects are usually good, but can occasionally be detrimental.

Relic Bag- A simple bag that holds his Relics.

Potions- Potions that he can occasionally find. These either give him buffs, or give his foes debuffs. One-time use only.

Potion Pouch- A pouch for holding his Potions. Can carry a max of 3.

Fighting Style
Gio's fighting style is reliant on what cards he draws. If he draws no attack cards, he cannot attack for a while [that current post]. If he draws no defense cards, he cannot block any incoming attacks.

Strength- His strength is limited at peak human level, although he has not attained that yet. However, he is certainly above the average when it comes to his strength.

Endurance- His ability to take a hit is quite surprising, given his stature. He can take most blows and come out just fine. However, he has nothing special granting him any particular armor or immunity (outside of his cards) to really strong people, or to weapons.

Willpower- 10 years of fending for himself in the wilderness has granted him an amazing ability to carry on despite the odds. When even his strength failed him, he kept going out of sheer determination and willpower. This has also granted him a resistance to mind-control. His mind is strong, and won't back down easily.

Speed- His worst physical trait. He barely ekes out average speed at best. While he has decent stamina, he won't be winning any running contests.

Reaction Speed- Thanks to having to think quickly on his feet, Gio has a rather respectable reaction speed. While the average person reacts to a visual stimulus in .25 seconds, he takes only about .15 seconds.

ABILITY INFORMATION

Name of Ability: Luck of the Draw

Classs: Magic- Card Magic (Relics and Potions are Magic- Equipment Usage)

Character Theme: Giovanni's first act is to always draw cards. From there, he begins to formulate strategies based on what he has drawn. This can range from an all-out offensive, to a purely defensive set of actions.

Ability Capabilities: With Luck of the Draw, Giovanni is capable of gaining several unique skills from his cards, Relics, and Potions. These abilities can be both beneficial and detrimental to him, or a mix of both.

Qualities of Ability-
  • Gio is able to draw cards to use their effects in combat. This drawing action cannot be interrupted (except by card effects), and he doesn't even have to physically hold these cards.
  • He can gain or upgrade cards by overcoming particularly tough trials, although he cannot exceed his maximum deck size.
  • Deck Size can be increased after extreme hardships. In lieu of gaining new cards, Giovanni can also potentially gain a new Relic, which gives him passive abilities (good or bad).
  • If he's lucky, minor trials may net him a Potion for his use.
  • He draws 5 cards at a time, unless a card, Relic, or Potion lets him do otherwise
  • Cards that he plays or discards go to his Discard Pile.
  • When choosing cards, three random cards are selected. He can then choose to select one of them to add to his hand. Or, he can choose to not add any at all.

Strengths of Ability-
  • His ability is very versatile, and can be used to great effect when the right card combinations are drawn. Relics can also grant him various boons, and Potions are great for sticky situations.
  • He never runs out of cards. When his Draw Pile is empty, all the cards in his Discard Pile are shuffled back into his Draw Pile and cycle through again.
  • His Cards can be upgraded. This allows them to either deal more damage, block more damage, grant more of an effect, or even cost less.

Weaknesses of Ability-
  • His ability is completely random. He could draw exactly what he needs, or he could draw something he doesn't need.
  • Some of his cards have certain keywords that make them situational. For example, Unplayable cards can't be played from his hand at all.
  • Cards with the Exhaust keyword disappear for the rest of combat once played. Cards that are Ethereal disappear for the rest of combat if they aren't played.
  • He can gain cards and Relics with negative effects. These are permanent, and cannot be removed.

Limitations of Ability
  • The number of cards he can play is limited by his maximum Energy. If he runs out of Energy, he cannot play any more cards (except 0-cost cards), and must Discard the rest of his hand.
  • What actions he can and cannot do (mostly attacking and blocking) are solely dependent on what cards he plays.

Name: Bridget Blackburn

Age: 24

Alias: Bahamut

Tier: 5

Years Spent in SYNBAD: She's brand new, only having been around for a week.

Appearance: Bridget has a fairly unique appearance, being rather dragonic in nature. She's got a few extra limbs when compared to a normal human, having a large tail and a small set of wings. Most of her body is covered in thick leathery hide and crimson scales, excluding her torso and head, which consist of pale heavily armored plates. Her head is adorned with a frightful set of horns, sharing the colour of her scales. The horns lay atop a luscious head of long pale cream hair that can extend to the floor (Though for convenience purposes she's had it cut to about shoulder length.) Bridget has a smooth face, it being almost like a porcelain mask due to being heavily armored. This mask like face makes her black and red eyes even more intimidating, her gaze being that of nightmares.

Bridget has a voice that is as unique as her looks. It is a very deep and commanding voice, while it retains its feminine feel. Her voice also has a light growling echo to it, the growl is only really noticeable when she's angry or forcing it.

Although she doesn't like to talk about these, for CS purposes we must all know her height and weight. Bridget is a towering figure, standing a solid 313.4cms, and still growing. Her heavy scales and plated armor (much to her dismay.) make Bridget a staggeringly heavy creature, weighing in at around 445kgs.

Personality: Upon first meeting Bridget you wouldn't be blamed for thinking she's a total bitch. Her mix of passive-aggression and bad attitude can be horribly jarring when you first meet her. And you better get used to being called an idiot, because that might just be her favorite word, along with it's many variations.

Despite her proud and sometimes arrogant behavior, Bridget is actually highly concerned of how other people see her. She masks her insurgencies, pretending to not be fazed or to get angry. If someone were to actually crack open her rough outer shell, they might just find someone who's pleasant to be around.

Bridget always holds up her dignity, and when things threaten to degrade her image, she normally goes on the defensive, or in her case offensive.

Another large part of Bridget is her temper, she's a very easy individual to set off, although her outbursts never break into harsh physical violence, she isn't opposed to lesser physical abuse like tripping, slapping or pushing. This temper often gets her into situations she'd rather avoid, most of the time regretting what she's done later.

Behind all the bitch, she really just wants people to get to know her for 'her' and not the propaganda that the magazines show, but she's also worried that nobody cares about who the person behind the photos is.

She is also very very humble as fuck. Like really without question she is the most humble person you will ever meet.

Skills: Bridget is a rather sporty girl, being especially good at basket ball.

Hobbies: Bridget sometimes partakes in sports, mainly basketball, volleyball and tennis.

Weapons: Bridget doesn't use weapons, mostly because metal objects tend to bend and misshape when she uses them, and they aren't commonly designed in a way that allows Bridget to handle them effectively.

Equipment: Again she avoids equipment because of her tendency to melt or ignite said equipment.

Fighting Style: Bridget has no formal or non formal training in any sort of fighting, leading to her relying heavily on her brute strength and elemental abilities over proper combat form. This makes her easy to read as she throws wide punches or claw swipes, but sometimes she may incorporate her tail into attacks leaving even seasoned fighters surprised.

Explain what your character can and cannot do within the given areas;

Strength: Bridget is very strong, easily able to pick up and throw cars, even able to stop a moving bus if the situation ever arises. Metal is still metal and does require effort to break through depending on thickness but brick walls are as good as doors when Bridget needs to get somewhere quick.

Endurance: Bridget could be compared to a walking tank in some respect, her torso and shoulders having great resistance towards slashing or impact damage. But fairs much worse against piercing weapons like bullets, while being able to block the lowest calibers of bullets, while larger bullets pierce right through. Along side this, her plated armor does have grooves and chicks in it, where long thin weapons like swords could got through, though it'd be very difficult to do mid combat. Her had also has this dense armor except it's thinner and will crack when hit hard enough, her horns on the other hand provide grate defense for the flanks of her head, while the back remains unarmored.

As for her arms, tail and legs, these areas have tough hide which is good at dampening most damage, but lacks the sheer density of the armored plates. These scale covered areas will be damages buy cutting weapons, like swords and such, but blunt force is ill advised.

Willpower: Bridget has a pretty fragile opinion of herself, normally acting unaffected or getting angry when harsh comments are made. She is also not good with gore, being unsettled by it, or straight up puking depending on the amount/specific body parts.

Speed: Bridget is kind of like a truck when it comes to speed. She's slow to start with, but eventually building up to great speed, and you'll not want to be in front of her when at said speed. But also like a truck, she lack agility, so tight turns and obstacles are going to be a large problem for her.

Reaction Speed: Bridget isn't the fastest when it comes to reaction speed either, Being around the average.

Name of Ability: Drako Furnace

Class: Physical

Character Theme: Dragonic mutations, making the effected look more like a beast or demon rather than a human being. Also producing and projecting heat. Being like a living furnace, with a body hard like stone and a core that's hot like lava.

Ability Capabilities: Bridget's abilities allow her to perform great feats of strength and durability, far exceeding any regular human feats. Along with these attributes comes her control over heat, letting her burn or melt objects.

Qualities of Ability: (See the combat information tab for her physical abilities. Though a thing to note, her tail is prehensile.) Bridget has the ability to produce vast amounts of heat, be it inside her or immediately around her. Bridget is able to focus this heat her body generates and manipulate in a verity of ways, such as projecting it in the form of a beam, or simply radiating it from her body. The heat she produces is visible, having a dull or bright orange hue, depending on the intensity of the heat. When using any of her heat abilities Bridget's, any cracks or groves in her torso/face armor will glow with eh same colour.

Strengths of Ability: Bridget's strong physical potency and ability to produce heat make her a fearsome combatant. Her considerable strength and heat abilities allow her to dish out great amounts of damage, while her size and armor allows her to take many hits and continue fighting.

Weaknesses of Ability: Bridget is not an marathon runner, being rather quick to tire if exerting herself for short periods of time. This is a result of her increased metabolism, meaning she needs to eat more frequently than others, add that to her large size, and it is plain to see how food and energy are a big problem for Bridget. Her exhaustion can be accelerated if things like water or ice are used to cool her, forcing herself to reheat and expend more energy than normal. She also doesn't have any kind of enhanced healing factor despite having a faster metabolism, her armored plates in particular take a long time to heal without assistance, being comparable to repairing bones.

Limitations of Ability: Bridget's has limits on her power, that she currently can't work around. Her current maximum temperature is around 1000 degrees Celsius making her able to melt concrete. She can also only perform one kind of heat projection at a time, eg she couldn't fire a beam of heat while also making a heat field around herself.

Biograph:

Quote: "It's not easy being me."

Reputation: Bridget is seen as a model, not a unanimously loved one, often being a target by bigoted individuals, but nothing most physically altered New Breed wouldn't be used to, the only reason it being more noticeable for her is because of her position in the limelight.

^Foster and Harper more specifically

Age: 27/28

Tier: 3/2

Alias: Remedy - Foster, Wreckage - Harper

Years in SYNBAD: 6

Appearance:

“There’s a lot to unpack. It’s like a shitty Christmas present within a box is in another box is a tinier box is a tinier box. Fuck. I still want a backsy,”

“I am not sure you can get backsy for something that happened when we were eight,”

“Foster, I’ll find a way”

“.....goodluck,”

On the surface there may be no difference to these brothers, they appear as a young man in his late twenties though hard to gauge whether that is on the younger or older side of late twenties. As one brother looks a little younger than the other brother, though that’s getting ahead of ourselves. This young man appears on one hand to be a young man with red auburn hair, with heterochromia. As one eye appears always milky or cloudy in color, until one eye switches color. One eye when active is a deep, sapphire blue. While the other eye when active is a deep golden. A sharp triangular face, with wide cheekbones, their differences subtle and often go unnoticed. Both brothers stand at 5’10”, 177cm, and weigh roughly 135lbs, 61kg. Though the brothers vary slightly in their physicality.

Foster is the “younger” of the two brothers. He has a singular blue iris, his brother’s eye is the golden iris. Of the two Foster is the “slimmer” of the brothers, he isn’t as athletic as Harper, and doesn’t gain muscle as easily. Foster’s wardrobe is often business casual attire or business professional attire, though he’s a bit relaxed at times with what he wears. Often Foster can be seen pairing cardigans with his different colored button up shirts. He doesn’t necessarily prefer a bright wardrobe or a dark wardrobe, instead he prefers something in between pairing dark colored sweaters, with soft muted toned shirts and dark bottoms, he often wears a pair of comfortable tennis shoes, rather than dress shoes due to the nature of his job and his preference of comfortability. Harper tends to tease Foster dress and call it “Mr. Roger Chic”. Foster likes to keep his hair neatly combed, often with a good part creating a curtain or sweeping bangs over his forehead and likes to keep his hair professional. Beyond the cowlic that refuses to stay down.

His voice is often more even toned than Harper’s who is brash, and loud. Foster’s voice is mellow and usually more even tone, as he tries to control the volume of his voice often keeping it in a range that make it come off soothing, caring, and earnest. Harper comments “it’s like he’s trying to lull everybody to their demise and that’s his funeral director voice” Both brothers have a strong cockney accent, though Foster pays more attention to his pronunciation of words and often tries to imitate strongly the Standard London accent with a odd flair.

Harper is the “older” of the two brothers. He has a singular golden iris, his brother’s eye being the blue one. Harper is more athletic than Foster, he can gain muscle easily, he’s compact, but lean and muscular. Of the two brothers, he slightly weighs more than Foster, but we’re not going to get into those kind of technicals. Harper is the more flashy of the brothers, which is a bit ironic considering that he also is not a fan of bright colors. Yet, he is the one who likes to style his hair, often in a more spiky manner, swept up, or just natural bed head. He doesn’t necessarily give a damn about appearing clean cut and professional, despite his own wardrobe being that of suits. Difference is they are often used in some way to flaunt something of Harper.

Be it his nice body, or his neck, Harper likes to show himself off more. Despite not liking brighter colors, he’s often choosing strong bold prime colors, like prime reds or blues because he doesn’t necessarily see them as color. While Foster’s wardrobe is monochrome, not meant to grab attention, Harper’s style is to grab attention. He’ll wear any manner of shoe style, dress shoes, boots. And while he has suits, Harper is seen to experiment with style, like mesh shirts, and pleather pants. Designer torn jeans. He comes off very metrosexual.

Harper has a strong cockney accent he doesn’t seem to want to correct, nor does he care. His voice is harsher, a bit rougher than Foster’s voice. He’s also louder, brasher, and a bit….interruptive to say the least. While he demands attention with his body, he also demands attention with his presence, with an attitude of I am Harper I have entered the room you will pay attention to me and behold me as the subject. Foster tells the tale of Harper being heard from their house down the corner of their neighbors street. Harper denies any of this actually true.

Personality:

What the brothers share is a sharp sense of intelligence and wit. Both of them are are very quick on their mental legs so to speak and are easily able to comeback with a snappy retort. While Foster may be the more mild mannered or softer of the two doesn’t mean that he cannot come up with snappy, quick lines without much thought.

Harper always been brash, blunt and straightforward so he’ll say it if it comes to mind with a shrug of his shoulders. Both brothers carry a strong bond for each other despite what seems like bickering, it’s just give them each other brotherly love and acting like the anchor to make sure one is kept grounded.

Both are deeply honest about what they feel, though Foster has a tendency to sugar coat or try to dance around the bush so to speak. While Harper dives head deep into the deep end of the pool even sometimes when neither of them are prepared to do so. They’re both agreeable, even if Harper gives someone a hard time the reality is that he’s just joking and will do anything for anyone he truly, deeply cares about. While Foster is more along the lines of saying yes without the trouble.

Foster is the mild mannered, softer of the two personalities. Softer doesn’t necessarily mean Foster is simply going to get steamrolled over. He’s not a pushover. Simply Foster tends to be less than Harper. Having Harper is all the extra he really needs. When his brother is shouting a man down the street for ripping him off Foster is the one who tries to keep the most sensibility of the two. Though he doesn’t necessarily care for that kind of conflict. He sometimes feels slightly embarrassed watching how Harper’s experiences and interacts with life.
Foster is an emotionally honest person. He’s very intune with the things he wants and what he’ll accept from others when it comes to relationships. No one would say say that Foster has more empathy than Harper, because it’s clear Harper has empathy just a different way of expressing it than Foster does.

With that said the task and things that interest Foster starkly contrast with his brother. Foster likes to do volunteer work, he thoroughly enjoys helping the poor and those less fortunate and tries his best to make others life as comfortable. It’s not that Harper won’t, he understands the moral importance, but he rather spend his Saturday afternoon having a good time hiking, going to the gym, hanging with the lads, that sort of thing. Than feeding the homeless or doing work stuff on non work days.

Foster likes classical music, though he’ll listen to just about anything under the sun, he is kind and often likes to keep his mind open. He is up to experiencing new experiences and more importantly he seeks someone else he can have a close bond with. See Foster, unlike Harper, never possessed the traits that make Harper’s personality magnetic, made others gravitate towards him, so Foster didn’t have very many people close in his life beside family.

He loves Harper, if he were to lose Harper in anyway shape or form it would kill Foster emotionally. He wouldn’t be able to handle it. But he wants to share that strong bond he has with Harper with others. They have spent a great amount of time alone with themselves, that he wants to open a door of opportunity for them to shape new relationships with others, accepting what they are.

With that said Foster is afraid of the dark and he doesn’t like the sensation of drowning, he’ll swim, but he doesn’t like feeling the sensation of going under. The brothers have the ability to mind sleep in their heads, but Foster describes the experience as disorientating, like he’s falling and he panics whenever he wakes up in that space of their mind. Because of that Harper let’s Foster sleep normally, on a bed in reality.

**

Harper on the other hand is the more blunt, charismatic of the two. He’s well liked because of his no nonsense attitude. No one pushes Harper over, no one. Harper is a harsher personality, though harsher doesn’t necessarily mean or cruel, it just means that he has a tendency to get carried away. If you thought his personal sense of dress was loud, well so is Harper’s personality. Sometimes he seems practically self absorbed in himself.

Hiking, fishing, boating, skiing, Harper likes to enjoy whatever life throws at him and accepts life as a challenge, which conflicts with Foster’s non conflict philosophy that Harper ignores when he’s the active brother. Harper is generally very outgoing and maybe even more social than Myles. He demands that the rooms attention is on him at all times, with a sort of intellectual superiority. Believing himself to be the genuine center of nature. Forgetting compared to Foster he’s a plastic surgeon and most people don’t see plastic surgeon as a bastion of knowledge.

Harper is not less empathetic than Foster even if it comes off that way. Harper is able to recognize moral higher importance and will make decisions based on what seems like the right thing to do. Deciding to go skinny dipping with a hot super model who you gave a breast augmentation surgery doesn’t seem on the list of important to man literally dying of cancer. While he gets that, he tries to convince Foster to loosen up a bit instead of spending his weekends with depressing hobbies he calls them. Homeless people on the street, squatting and barely holding on. You have had some me time.

Harper cares for others and he’ll do anything for them, though he’ll never do it nicely without poking the individual asking him for the favor first. Mainly because he likes to keep people on their toes and also because he worries about people clinging onto him. In essence what Harper fears is the thing Foster craves. A bonding relationship with another individual is worrisome for Harper. How much of them can they accept? Do they really understand what Foster and Harper go through each day? Do they believe them? Harper is concerned that Foster’s ideal will end up hurting Foster deeply and he simply is trying to protect him from that.

Harper is an extremely loving older brother, of course he has to give his little brother a bit of trouble from time to time. But he’d do anything to protect Foster and wants nothing, but the best for his baby brother to be happy.

Harper is less genuine about his emotions and less honest about how he feels. He tends to push others away and won’t let others in. He holds in a lot of how he feels even from Foster because he knows how sensitive Foster can be. With that said Harper has also has disgust for slimy creatures, squids, octopus, and jellyfish really creep him out.

He’s not really into music or musicals, or bright colors. He likes to be active and go out and do something. He likes going on dates with woman and likes to fill his time with thrills. Acceptable thrills. He would never have it any other way. Unless the right person showed up he may reconsider it, but he doubt that will ever happen in their lifetime.

Foster Skills:

Violon -

Both Foster and Harper as kids were musically inclined though the instruments they gravitate were different from each other. Foster preferred the somber embrace of a violin's near human like harmonics, his brother less inclined for something sweet and softening and instead something loud and obtuse.

Crockpot Cooking -

Foster and Harper both have busy jobs and busy lives. While Foster may not be the greatest chef in the kitchen, he can cook up a pretty mean 8 hour meal in a crockpot. He may not know how to cook on a stove or skillet, but he knows flavor composition and combining different ingredients together.

Identifying Rocks -

Foster got err interesting hobbies say to the least. Since he was a young kid he has been collecting rocks of interest. And can identify where they come from. For the most part Foster knows a lot of things about rocks. Which Harper thinks is a boring hobby and no wonder woman are not interested in him once he shows his pet rock collection. Foster retorts they aren’t pet rocks because pet rocks disrespect the glory and beauty of mother nature.

Remembering Details -

It’s hard to pull the wool over his eyes, Foster can easily identify details and he remembers them quite well. Not quite an eidetic memory, but if something stands out to Foster he’ll remember it well enough.
Harper’s Skills:

Electric Guitar -

What’s there to say. So Metal. So Rock n Roll. So much better than that instrument Foster calls a violin that sounds like a dying cat.

Smooth Talking -

Harper has a great way of smoothing things over, it is his magnetic and charismatic presence that demands the attention of others. He’s so beautiful and so handsome, so of course he has the right idea. It doesn’t work on everybody, but that’s fine it works on most. Smoothly persuading and convincing people that his ideas a good ideas.

Lip Reading -

What it is a very useful tool to figuring out what woman are talking about at a distance, so when you go in for the flirt you know how to trigger them with the right things to say.

Wrapping Presents -

Look you don’t want Foster doing it, he has twenty pieces of tape so it looks like he’s packaged a bomb.

Shared Skills”

Human Anatomy -

While Foster and Harper work in two different clinical fields, you still need to understand how human anatomy works. How skin works. How the body works, how the body is shaped, etc. To do what Harper does, as a plastic surgeon to get the most natural look is by understanding the natural body. While Foster uses it to diagnosis broken bones or if something is out of place he can otherwise point it out.

Doctorate of Diagnostic Medicine -

Both brothers graduated with a shared doctorate, try explaining on the graduation ceremony went. While Foster uses his doctorate to treat and diagnosis conditions. Harper uses his doctorate as a surgeon for vanity surgery as Foster puts it. Though both brother have shared experiences of what both actually does. So I mean Harper could tell you, you have cancer buddy bummer, but it’s not necessarily his job to do so.

Foster’s Hobbies:

Storm Watching -

Again Foster has an odd idea of fun. He’s secretly a bit of a storm chaser in his past time. He can tell you where a storm is brewing, how fast it is moving, in what direction it is moving. Sometimes he likes to simply watch lighting strike across the sky, other times he likes to chase the storm to see where it takes him.

Gardening -

Foster likes the natural and holistic approach, understanding the importance of a balanced diet. He’s grown his own mini vegetable garden to cut cost. It’s something that relaxes him and makes him feel at peace.

Harpers’ Hobbies:

Restaurant Reviews -

I have Yelp Review Elite status my followers are counting on me to steer them into the right culinary direction.

Going to the Gym -

There is something relaxing about lifting weights and doing a little kickboxing in the morning. Wakes you up more than Foster’s avocado toast. What is even that shite.

Hiking -

Nothing is more fun than seeing how far you can climb up a mountain. You become in tune with nature a lot more than collecting some rocks. Fuck why am I still picking up rocks for him!! I am trying to make a point.

Foster

Weapons: None as it stands because Foster’s ability doesn’t allow him to actual injure anyone he doesn’t use any weaponry.

Equipment: Advance Medical Kit, when Foster is out and about on calls to houses or indeed simply working on the field with SYNBAD he takes with him his advance medical bag which has a range of equipment for him to use for emergency trauma care. Something he combines with his abilities in order to deal with the best care he can. Unless a condition is too advance for him to handle.

Fighting Style: None. He relies on the bruisers and beaters to do their job so he doesn’t have to. He’s squishy and prefers to be kept out of battle as much as possible. He didn’t take several pounds of medical equipment with him to punch some guy in the face.

Strength: Average. He’s not going to be throwing people through walls any time soon and he’s definitely not going to be taking being thrown into a wall fairly well. Just because he can slightly heal his injuries doesn’t mean he wants to beaten into a pulp or can take being beaten into a pulp.

Endurance: This is slightly above average mainly because healing people requires the use of his own psychic energy which means that it requires his reserves of stamina. He can sustain a rather impressive amount of energy in this circumstance. Usually his max limit being upwards to thirty minutes of sustaining another with his gifts. And while yes he cannot be take a beating. Because he can heal his own wounds he has a higher chance of surviving fatal injuries compared to other people. Foster is strong standing in this case.

Willpower: Superior to Most. There is something about the twins that makes it hard for anyone to get into their mind. Neither of them are shaken and even if one may be on the verge of being shaken, the other is there to ground the other individual back. Perhaps it’s their strong twin powers, for whatever reason it is fairly difficult to read both brothers or manipulate them in anyway that would shake them mentally. They have each other’s Minds.

Speed: Average. Foster is human, he can only go as fast as a human goes. He’s not going to be running any marathons that’s for certain and he definitely doesn’t necessarily care too much of the idea. He unfortunately can be outsped by most things that outspeed other things. So Foster tries to keep hidden. Even if his speed physically is less than impressive, he is definitely “fast” when it comes to treating his patients as quickly and efficiently as he can.

Reaction Speed: Average. Foster is human he can only react as fast as a human can react to a certain action. Which is slightly delayed.

Harper

Weapons: Anything and everything. He may not be proficient in any type of weaponry, but due to Harper’s abilities he’ll use just about anything as an opportunity. Even his other fellow New Breeds abilities just to make someone hurt. Harper pretty much good at picking up anything and using it as a weapon. A chair leg is the most impressive thing he can mention.

Equipment: Hand wraps, have to protect those knuckles when you’re going out rough on someone else. Otherwise nothing else. Foster brings a heavy bag and that’s kind of enough to make me not want to bring anything else. Then it just looks like we’re moving in or something.

Fighting Style: No actual style, everything is up for grabs a dirty street fighting brawler, Harper takes the best of what he knows from his kickboxing class and watching classic street fights on the telly to incorporate into a style about just roughhousing and getting in enough cracks and snaps to take advantage with his ability.

I present Miguel as a good example of just a style about dirty pokes, rough housing, and clearly we’re keeping it grounded so the ridiculous juggles are not quite a thing considering Harper and Fosters err humanness.

Strength: “Above” Average, than his brother. Harper possess an insane amount of weight to his punches that you wouldn’t really quite assume from him considering that both him and his brother are quite possibly human. However, Harper can dish it out with the strongest, and take a couple of hits before going down. His fighting style is all about pokes and disruptive shakes into pretty abusive hits with elbows and anything that does a lot of pain. He has no problem swinging your face into the wall either if he has to. While he may be human and might not take a punch say from an ogroid, most people who are slightly above average are going to have a hefty dirty fight with Harper because of his determination and inability to give up. He’s going to hurt you and he’s going to make sure you feel the pain.

Endurance: Average. Harper cannot last as long as Foster, and get your mind out of the gutter, his abilities are quick decisive and get the job done. While his fighting style is affected by peak human condition. He doesn’t have a whole lot of insane amounts of stamina that Foster somehow possesses and he might likely be able to sustain his own abilities for fifteen minutes. He also doesn’t heal or regenerate wounds like Foster does, so he does after a while succumb to physical fatigue, mental fatigue, and pain.

Willpower: Read Foster

Speed: Average. Harper is not exactly the fastest New Breed out there, but it gets the job done. While he’s not deliberately fast, his punches do come at a faster speed than his relaxed, slow, casual fighting stance would make you believe. While he may have prime human in peak condition speed, it shouldn’t be underestimated. Of course he couldn’t go tango to tango with a Drake, he’d tell Jack to make sushi out of it, for the most part Harper is deceptively fast.

Reaction Speed: “Above” Average than his brother. Being physically active and in kickboxing class, and taking other gym classes, while Harper’s reactionary speed may not technically be above average of another human being, he can react faster than most human beings. While it make take human being to recognize something with a 4 second delay, that 4 second may be a slight 2 second delay for him.

Foster

Name of Ability: Life support

Class: Psychic

Character Theme: Not all healers are miracle workers who instanously cure someone of all disease or make the blind see again. Some healers work in more subtle ways, they sustain you and nurture you to a state of normalcy that may raise your capability of survivability. I am no miracle worker, but I am a machine that sustains you when your body can no longer. I hope I am enough, I hope that I can help and you can carry on living.

Ability Capabilities: Foster psychic signature reads as healing energy and thusly his psychic energy works in order to sustain cells or other functions of life. As human beings technically have electric currents this is what allows Foster to connect or sustain his power to encourage your body to heal in inhuman ways.

Qualities Capabilities:

Self Mending -

Foster possess the capabilities of regeneration, though there is a lot more than simply regenerating a wound. To be perfectly honest Foster just has a better resilience to injury with minor self healing capabilities. Further defined in the weaknesses and limitations of this ability. Since his ability affects cells than it does affect direct wounds, Foster’s secret to his younger appearance is probably because he has less cell damage to his aging cells. Since his ability recovers on the micro level himself mending affects him internally. Though slightly. He’s not going to be near as long live as Viorel, just look nice in his sixties.

External Cell Rejuvenation -

Foster doesn’t have a “true” healing power. He’s not going to make wounds magic away, it’s technically impossible for anyone to actually possess that sort of healing, no one has ever possessed some form of instant healing factor before. It’s just Foster is a lot better at it than some. Not only with his extreme stamina, considering how long some wounds take depending on the damage sustained. Minor wounds like light scratches he could easily recover, but Foster has made a policy that no one is to come to him just because Killer Queen scritched them. It seems silly and waste of energy, you’ll live unless he sees some kind of bacteria.

Foster psychic healing encourages wounds to recover faster than they ordinarily would. Broken ribs that take upwards to six weeks, would instead take three. He has the capability to save limbs from becoming infectious or being completely lost by extending the amount of time it can remain detached or slightly detached. His ability encourages healing at the cellular and never directly affects the wound itself.

Preventative Symbiosis -

Lastly Foster bulk of his ability is the ability to “save someone from death” though that’s not quite the most accurate description. In a lamemens terms by his touch, Foster has the ability to link himself to someone’s else electronic pulse and synchronize their irregular body with the regularity of his body. For example say someone has heart failure, and is dying, Foster could grab their hand or wrist and synchronize their irregular heart rhythm with his regular heart rhythm. This requires total concentration and focus though and while he has insane reserves of stamina and energy this link can be easily ripped apart if he is somehow pulled out of the trance that this requires.

Strength of Abilities:

It seems sort of obvious the strengths of Foster’s abilities, while he may not work on instant miracle healing in the long run he extends other people’s rates of recoverability, or survivability. In the long run he makes others around him healthier and stronger.

Weakness of Abilities:

There’s an issue with having psychic healing energy, anyone he injures he ends up just healing their wound in a self defeating cycle. Beside that Foster’s abilities do put a toll on him eventually while he may have a ridiculous amount of stamina reserves, his abilities can make him sort of sick feeling, depending on how long the healing is. While he may not be exhausted he may experience burnout or rundown in a rut. See Foster and Harper are half a mind. One half of the mind is Foster’s the other is Harper, so it’s difficult to use one quarter of your energy with one half the brain power. It just means in the end Foster ends up having to focus harder on daily task afterward. Some after an intense healing session find him mumbling to himself the steps he needs to take to make coffee for example or the steps he needs to take to get out the door properly.

Limitation of Abilities:

Foster doesn’t have instant regeneration and it’s not infinite. The ability only makes wounds less less. Say if he get stabbed or shot, all his regeneration ability does is clot his blood a little faster in keeping him from wholeheartedly bleeding out. Making a big hole, a tinier hole. That and Foster’s abilities are limited with the amount of focus, concentration and energy he has. Foster cannot regenerate Harper’s wounds. In fact both brothers share one ability together, and one limit together. But he cannot dip into his brothers abilities and Harper cannot dip in Foster’s ability.

Both brothers when they switch personalities, takes up to 30 seconds for their brain to fully activate upon switch. This means for 30 seconds neither brother has their power right away when they switch personality.

Harper

Name of Ability:

Class: Psychic

Character Theme: There is always an opposite to something that exist. If Foster and I are each other’s opposites then that would make him the healer, the doctor, and I the infection, the disease. While I may not directly deal specifically with diseases, he repairs, and I damage. I wouldn’t have it any other way, to be his opposite. As long as it means I get to protect those I made a promise or oath to protect.

Ability Capabilities: While Foster ability heals cell damage, Harper’s ability damages cells and accelerates their growth rate as well. He worsens all preexisting wounds or conditions. Harper own psychic energy is that of damaging energy not healing.

Qualities of Capabilities:

Damaged Cell Acceleration -

While Foster healing energy can recover his aging cells in his self mending capabilities. Harper’s abilities don’t necessarily allow him to recovered damage cells in the same way, but his abilities don’t seem to damage him much either. If anything Harper’s abilities “reset” him to a manufacture default setting. Harper ages at an average rate like an ordinary person, but doesn’t at the same time. With his DCA, he can encourage the growth of someone’s else cells to worsen their illnesses or conditions. To do this he is transferring his damaged cells into them to act like psychic cancer. Thus a reset.

Wound Ravaging -

While Foster’s healing energy encourages wounds to heal at an above average rate. Harper’s damaging energy festers wounds and has them worsen over time. The more he directly influences their wounds, the worse their wounds become. While Foster’s ability affect clotting to happen faster, Harper’s ability stops clotting and encourages wounds to bleed out faster. While in some aspect this ability is affected by touch, that’s something easily fixed by his brawling and combat he mixes with his abilities.

Strengths of Abilities:

Again the strengths seem relatively obvious damaging people’s wounds to worsen or making their disease flare up seem like kind of an obvious advantage in battle. However, unlike Fosters’ ability Harper has more choice on what he wants to do with his energy unlike his brother.

Weaknesses:

While Foster cannot injure others, Harper cannot heal other people he’ll merely damage them worse than what they were before. Harper probably relies on the abilities of others more than his brother, he waits for others to provide a wound of opportunity in order to be able to do anything. He’s a relatively support player despite his skills and combat.

Limitations:

DCA affects the illnesses and diseases of another individual. Wound affects the blood and the cells of an injury. Felt like that needed more clarification.

Shared Ability:

Both brothers have the ability to see someone’s internal wounds and illnesses that they would not otherwise be privy to.

Foster cannot really do much with this information, beside probably finding ways to lower their risk of making their diseases worse with general advice, eat healthy, exercise more, or telling them early with fake CTs that cannot pick up what he can.

While Harper uses this information in combination with his DCA.

Foster Quotes:

“Just doing my best. Have nothing profound to say. Honestly, I think Viorel does enough motivational speeches for the rest of us to get away without doing so,”

“The next time someone comes to me about Killer Queen scritching them, I am going to have Harper give them something to complain about,”

“Someone asked me why I pack Hello Kitty sticky plaster into my kit, first off they have antibacterial ointment to them and no one said adults cannot have cute adhesive,”

“I love Harper, I don’t know what my life would have been like if my twin had died in the womb and I would have been alone. I am never alone, when I need someone I have someone to lean on. I know Harper doesn’t mean ill, I just wish sometimes he was more honest about the way he feels about things because he desires to protect me from harm, I desire to make sure his inner needs are being met,”

Harpers Quotes:

“Ay-up, people are kind of amazing to me. Woman want the attention, but only when they initiate it. What ever happened to a good pick up line?”

“Pay the bloody fuck attention, I just got this suit on discount for 75 pounds. This ordinarily a 300 pound shirt. Talk about thrifting,”

“Bloody handsome dats what I am,”

"Foster, I wish there were a way I could leap out in front of you and protect you. I wish there were other ways to hold you and keep you safe. But I'll tell you none of this because you're my precious little brother and no matter how I am beside you, I will be at your side"

Reputation: In the medical field Foster William Harris is highly respected, the small family clinic that hired him knowing his unique position feel themselves are lucky to have him. In the New Breed community is more of a mixed relationship considering how human Foster and his brother Harper look, though also because neither Foster nor his elder brother Harper ever faced the isolation that they did. A caution that has faded over the six years they have been working with SYNBAD though there were some concerns when Angelica first brought them over. Beyond that both brothers are err well known though not necessarily for any particular reason they like.

Harper is actually a highly respected plastic surgeon as well. With his obtuse personality some would find that difficult to believe, but Harper does have a heart of gold. While he may seem like he doesn’t care or doesn’t have any higher ground morality that simply isn’t the case. Harper has convinced teenage girls quite often why they don’t need a surgery now and promises them if they feel that way in 5 years when they are twenty then he’ll consider the surgery. He keeps the clinic he works at clean, tries to be body positive. None of those things some people see when he’s in a casual setting or would believe, but Harper is actually quite the moral support when he chooses to be.

*Middle name Clint if you really need to know that sort of thing

Age: 17 going on 18

Alias: Komodo

Tier: 4

Years in LHA: 2

Appearance:

Terribly white bleach skin, you’d think this boy is sick with something it starkly contrast with his jet black hair and severe cancer patient look. A curved, and deep slit in his mouth is the only takeaway that there may be more than meets the eye with this young man. Well that and the clear white colored irises that have a slight reflection to them in the light, like that of an animal that may be able to see in the night, and tiny black pupils. Natural black circles around his eyes only make his white irises more dramatic, though there is slight enhancement as he naturally enhances with a dramatic layer of eyeshadow and eyeliner it’s hard to determine where his natural raccoon eyes start and where he’s smeared more black under his eyes.

Many aren’t necessarily sure what the statement he’s trying to make with his dress. A white t-shirt or a white hoodie which he wears when out and about doing hero things, with a razor on a chained necklace certainly gathers attention from other people. Skinny black jeans and worn black and white canvas shoes betray the sweet kid he is. For someone who wants to be accepted, he certainly doesn’t dress in an acceptable manner.

For a boy who dresses like scenester, he actually has a smooth tone to his voice, actually possibly most of his attraction comes from the smokiness and velvet cadence to his voice. Many have suggested that most girls are simply attracted to his voice and not the rest of his severe appearance. He stands at 5’7”, 170cm, and weighs 106 pounds, 48kg.

Personality:

Myles is not an unapproachable young man, actually he’s easily open for a good conversation. He’s pretty much any eighteen year old would be. Rumboxious and a little rebellious, though never really over the top with it. He’s into the latest things kids his age are into. He particularly likes meme culture and enjoys meeting his fans that follow him on his Snapgram. He’s a very active young man, who enjoys socializing with others. That doesn’t mean Myles doesn’t have anything going for him, despite seemingly like a follower who goes with what is the latest in thing and the coolest topic with kids his age underneath that surface is a gentle kid.

He’s never really sought out to hurt others and doesn’t necessarily possess the mean bone that his dress style would have others assume. Honestly probably most of his accepting, go with the crowd behavior has a lot to do with Myles want and desire to be accepted by others. He doesn’t look like other eighteen years old and he’s aware of that. Even if he didn’t dress weird, he’d still look weird. When he dresses weird it makes his weird less.

He’s not just tuning out jokes other people tune out either, he’s an extremely goofy young man who often says whatever comes to his mind. Actually many people who falsely accuse him of stealing jokes are often wrong about him. Where there is a social media following there will always be critics about what you say and he knows that.

What he cannot seem to accept is criticisms about his appearance. He’s actually, despite seemingly very confident about owning his weirdness, very insecure about the way he looks. He doesn’t always see himself as sexy as many of his photos would suggest or the things he says to impress others. He can be very sensitive about the things people say about him and he doesn’t accept rejection very well especially when it’s based on his appearance.

More importantly he wants his mother to be proud of him and maybe hopefully he can do something for her to be proud of him. He’s really just looking for somewhere that makes him feel normal. His body and his instincts are already weird and he doesn’t necessarily have anyone to talk to in those circumstances. You can’t have those conversations with kids his age despite him really wanting to. An extroverted, happy kid, who enjoys loud music, and really wants an accepting family figure in his life.

Skills:

Editing and Photography -

Just because he takes selfies doesn’t mean you don’t need to know a bit about photography. Where your lighting is coming from and how to use the editing software when it’s appropriate. He’d probably be able to tell you whether something is photoshopped or not.

Marketing and Branding -

When you have an online image you have to maintain you learn a little bit about how to market and brand yourself. Too bad Angelica won’t let him brand and market London Hero Alliance online.

“I can practically do your job,” Myles tries to persuade her.

“No you can’t,” Angelica replies with a smile on her face, passing the boy off.

“I have the knowledge,” Myles remarks.

“But none of the connections beside teenage girls who practically swoon over you. You know what I found in my mailing box the other day, take a guess,” Angelica lifts up a drawn image of Myles in Chibi form with hearts floating around his head, #IloveSnakeBoys

Making Memes -

What’s in a meme? Wit, trendiness and relatable to your brand. And always respect the greats.

Informant -

Despite his appearance, Myles open and friendly nature gets people to talk. They like the sound of his voice and his personable personality and likability that they often tell him things they shouldn’t. #NoTortureNeeded

Hobbies:

Photography - said that

Editing, graphic design basically - said that

Dancing -

Sometimes you get invited to people’s places cause they like you. And we trash the place

Loud EDM -

It isn’t good if it isn’t wasting your hearing, well for me the vibrations kind of feel nice. But I am not really talking about that kind of thin.

Weapons: None when you literally have a saw for a mouth you kind of don’t want to complicate things further.

Equipment: Nothing don’t need it. Utility belts are as bad as fanny packs.

Fighting Style: Primal Animal Mimicry - while all martial arts tend to mimic animals, this is not necessarily a style that anyone can learn. It is a style designed specifically for individuals who are highly flexible. A high level of body flexibility is needed to deliver smooth strikes that can confuse the opponent. Animals it can be seen imitating are things like insects, crawling on the ground like an insect, contorting their body to avoid hits, using flexible maneuvers to deliver hits from various angles, and so forth. Various stances are used. But this isn’t a style Myles picked up by a master, but something he naturally can do by due to his double jointed nature. Hard to determine proficiency on a made up martial skill.
Heavily inspired the idea of this style off of Zafina, I’m putting both videos down for you to see the various stances and capabilities

High Stances Part 1

Mainly Lower Stances Part 2

Strength: While Myles not have the strength to lift another person up and throw through a wall. Or may not have the strength to punch down doors, seen it happen before. He actually has peak physical strength that is utilized to picking himself up in unusual positions. Since his fighting style is all about odd stances and contorting you have to have not only great endurance, but a great sense of being able to pick yourself up in any position. Even say if you have to pick yourself up by your elbow only. Myles himself though doesn’t have a very good defense, he’s not going to take flying through a wall very well and he could easily be knocked out by someone stronger than him.

Endurance: Again contorting the way Myles does, especially in combative purposes actually takes a lot of stamina. Something which Myles is actually proficient at. His endurance is exceptional at best. With high stamina it’s hard for Myles to get exhausted, probably the reason why he can outlast friends at an all night bender. Still Myles requires sleep like any normal human being and the harder he pushes himself in the end the harder the crash later. He has been known to sleep upwards to 12 hours after pushing himself to his max level of endurance.

Willpower: For the most part Myles has always been really good at bouncing back despite terrible odds. He’s always willing to carry on through thick and thin. Though where Myles fails at is actual mental strength. Sure when something bad happens, he’s hopeful the adults know what to do to fix the situation. However, when it comes to direct mental attacks Myles at times can be significantly weakened. His greatest weakness is probably the security insecurities he has about himself. Not finding himself attractive, sometimes really hating his body. A mentalist with strong powers can attack these insecurities and Myles would fall. It would be something that crushes him.

Speed: Myles is quick and efficient. Where he lacks in strength he makes up in speed. He may not hit hard and have to work for his damage, but that’s quickly picked up by his swiftness. Myles is quick to pick up the pace. And while he might be the fastest man alive, Myles is certainly a lot faster than some meatier adversaries.

Reaction Speed: Myles is also very quick to notice sudden changes and react with swift efficiency. His reaction speed is definitely something natural, as he can pick up the most subtle of changes in the air. Via be it vibrations, a change in the direction a smell may be coming from, or in someone’s body posture. Myles is quick to pick it up and notice and react appropriately.

Name of Ability: Dragon Blooded

Class: Physical - Biology

Character Theme: So somewhere in history was a tribe of New Breeds who had physical capabilities like myself. They called themselves Dragon Blooded or the Dragon Warriors. Not sure why when we have more in common with snakes, spiders, and a whole bunch of other mess. Anyway they died out. People forgot who they were, they became a myth. I am not actually sure what the point of this was, because it’s not like I want to be some badass Dragon Warrior with gauges in my ear. I just want to be accepted. Guess that’s my theme, I don’t know cause nothing I do is normal.I guess being accepted through abnormalities is my theme. Ah fuck. Maybe I just want to figure it out.

Ability Capabilities: This ability changes Myles basic biology. He’s for all intensive purposes a human chimera with the capability of several animals in one. Mainly he shares things in common with spiders, snakes, and other reptiles.

Qualities of Abilities:

Cranial Kinesis - Fancy way of saying I have a big mouth -

The first thing Myles shares in common more with reptiles than humans is that he has the same cranial kinesis they have, which means he has a kinetic skull that possesses both meta and meso kinetic joints. In layman's terms, it means he has the bite grip strength of a reptile and the ability to open his jaw rather wide. Wider than typical human being could open their jaw. This doesn’t mean Myles is going to be eating prey whole, first off eww, second off, it just means he has a bigger surface area he can bite when it comes down to it.

Another noted thing about Myles mouth, which is his main weaponry, is that he has an extra muscle between the slits of his mouth. When he opens his mouth wider this muscle is extended and more visible. It showcases that the slit in his mouth is not a simple cut, but more like a seam. Myles also has somewhere between 60 teeth in his mouth. Though his secondary set of teeth are not as large as his primary teeth. Because his teeth are serrated, they are actually tinier teeth behind the bigger ones to create the serrated action. Many toothbrushes have died to keep his teeth clean, RIP toothbrushes.

Necrotic Venom -

While Myles shares a mouth with reptiles he shares the venom of several spiders. It’s highly potent. When he injects an individual with his bite the individual experiences numbness in the affected area. Most who get bitten by what they mistakenly name a shark mouth don’t really consider the possibility that the individual biting them could be venomous as well. Within the next twenty four hours that mistake could cost them a limb. As it starts off with radiating pain throughout the limb, like fire. The individual begins to experience a fever, without proper hydration they can experience dizziness and nausea. Honestly that’s most likely what kills most people who are bitten by the Komodo is lack of hydration. Necrotic tissue begins to set in the wound eventually, the venom causes gangrene in the infected wound mixed with his venom. Most people can recover with lost of limb. Others die due to lack of proper self care.

Double Jointed -

Myles is double jointed in every joint of his body. Which means he can often be crazy flexible in ways other people cannot. He rarely shows off this unique ability unless in combat, because as he puts it, a guy who goes into a pretzel shape is not going to be considered fuckable by a lot of woman.

Strong Stomach Acid -

Myles also has the ability to err vomit out his guts in order to spread an AOE spray of acidic vomit that can melt through cement, most clothes, and burn the surface area of skin. A range of 10ft. This is not necessarily a fun thing to do and Myles really does it as a last resort thing because it makes him feel queasy and it taste extra gross.

Night Vision/Heat Vision-

Myles has a pretty good night vision, he can see most things other humans could not in the dark, upwards to 60ft. He probably shares the night vision most common in your house cat. He also can see hot spots, especially by lingering heat leftover by others. He cannot really see through walls with this ability, it’s just impressions.

Vibrations-

He can also experience vibrations with great intensity compared to other people. It allows him to track individuals who may be trying to hide or enemies who may be fleeing. This sense only last upwards to 30ft before he loses their trail.
Strengths of Ability:

He basically gets a whole difference sense of a person. An effective middle of the range fighter, with the capabilities of many reptiles and arachnids gives him a good range of capabilities. While his abilities are not directly a single power instead they are the mutations his body has obtained as he grows up.

Weaknesses of Ability:

There comes some drawbacks to his mutations. Effective Night Vision means he’s blind in the light the way we’re blinded to the dark. Say you’ve been working all night in the dark and his eyes are seeing in the dark, then suddenly a blinding flash of light comes out of nowhere. He’s blinded for a few seconds afterward. And while he shares an ordinarily amount with reptilian like animals, not all the downsides of his ability are as harmless as lights in your eyes. He has trouble regulating colder temperatures and suffers hypothermia much faster than other human beings, it’s why he seen mostly wearing long sleeves often. While also dealing with a heart arrhythmia that has caused complications in the past, though he hasn’t said anything to anybody. Sometimes he experiences lightheadedness or dizziness to it. In truth he has a complicated health history that needed more close monitoring when he was a child, though seems to be getting stronger as he got older. Though there is concern at least by his mother that his problems could come back. Beyond that Myles deals with his instincts, being part animal mimicry sort of gives you a hyperdrive predator instincts.

Limitations of Ability:

What Myles can do is dependent on what evolves in Myles. The abilities or really mutations Myles has acquired has been throughout his lifetime as he develops. There will of course be a natural stopping point of his progression as all animals stop growing at a certain age. Myles mutations are based on his natural limitations of age. More than likely he’ll stop developing powers at the age of 25 or 26. When he’d be considered fully an adult.

Quote: "We go through life never really wanting the things given us to us. You think my mother wanted me to come out this way? Congratulations your child is part human part freak. Probably not. But I make do with what I have. I didn't want to be her nightmare, I don't want to be the world's nightmare. I just happen to look this way and it's weird, but it's who I am."

Reputation:

Whether it is for better or for worse Komodo is highly known on social media. Many young girls follow his Snapgram, while many young boys his age also follow for advice. While he may not record the location of the LHA, he’s often seen with a selfie stick or his phone to take a photo out with his fans or his friends. Among the younger crowd he is very popular and well loved, despite err the lack of heroics in many of his post.

While the older generation still hasn’t quite gotten Komodo’s role in LHA. Is he a hero or a cheerleader? He has to work on that.

Age:
22

Alias:
Copycat

Tier:
Tier 1

Year Spent in SYNBAD:
2 Years

Appearance:

Straight jet black hair fell just below her shoulders, brushing up against the lightly tanned skin of her cheeks. Her delicate face framed by a pair of wire-rimmed glasses sitting at the bridge of her nose, that could not hide her almond-shaped chestnut colored eyes which seemed to give off a doe-like expression. A petite frame of 5’3 and a 120 pounds makes her appear fragile at first glance to most but if one wear to look closer they would see the lean muscle of her arms and toned legs.

She can mostly be found in sweaters or anything that is loose fitting that gives her a comfy feel. She does not mind showing a bit of skin but is usually reserved for tank tops and off the shoulder shirts. Jeans and leggings will always be her first choice but every now and then you could be blessed with seeing her in a dress though for her they are usually saved for special occasions.

Super Appearance:

Personality:
Nilin is the kind of person that always seems to be there when you need someone to lend you an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She is very loyal and protective of her friends and those she views as her makeshift family. She is soft-spoken and caring to those around her which would make most think she is not cut out to be a fighter but that image of her will change rather quickly if you get on her bad side. She is known for having a sharp tongue and will cut you down to size flawlessly if you are deserving of it.

Nilin can seem shy or nervous with crowds sometimes but she has her reasons for this. If you knew her on a personal level then you would find that she is fearless and is willingly spontaneous on the fly. She is happy to give her input freely and always open to change, rolling with the punches of life. She is very aware that she could be hurt and is very weak compared to most but she will not deny what she is and wants to make a difference.

Skills:
- Cooking/Baking - She grew up having to mostly care for herself and sometimes others which means cooking was a necessity to survive but she fell in love with the freedom. The creativity in trying something new even if the outcome came up in failure then maybe she could change something to make it better. It was like a stress relief that she could share with others to make them smile, have hope for a better day, or an easy way to say thank you. It still feels strange to have Gemina cook for the group and sometimes she still sneaks up out of bed early just to cook her own meals, not because she isn't grateful but the feeling of cooking and baking brings her joy. She can often be found in the kitchen while Gemina is cooking whether it is to help or give the woman some company. She wouldn't say she is anywhere close to a five-star chef of some fancy restaurant but she is still a wonderful cook if given the chance to try something she makes. She is not always confident in her skills.

- Painting - Painting is like a happy memory that she wishes to visit often. Each brush stroke reminder her of her mother's teachings and the fun times they shared together. She had shown her the passion for painting and a glimpse of the world through her eyes, that even if someone didn't understand a painting at first glance that the emotions you felt could still be conveyed. You could make the world a possibility for those that had never seen what you have or you could capture a thought of someone else by their face. You can be wild with just color and some random luck with say squirt guns filled with paint or a simple balloon. It is a spontaneous passion or it can let her place her emotions somewhere when she isn't sure where else to put them. It also is a way to keep her own memories alive when she thinks she might forget them.

- Singing - Her voice is mellifluous and smooth, drawing people in to want to hear more. She is not one to do so in front of others and can usually be found singing if she is in the shower or if something is stuck in her head while painting. Both are places she usually would think of as being alone or unheard. Humming is usually a different story as she can be found doing so during cooking or even cleaning which makes most beg to actually hear what her vocals could do.

- Sewing - Nilin has always been able to do small patch ups or hem an outfit in the past but in the last two years, she has dug into this skill to help it flourish as she had a new found inspiration. The first year in the group she worked hard to make her outfit piece by piece, trying to not only to improve her skills but to get it to match her vision. After everything was completed to perfection with her project, she started working on making outfits for Gemina so she could have something new and exciting without having to think about new fashion. She was happy to fix anything that she needed, taking great care with the clothing and even the clothing of the Knights with the permission of Viorel. She enjoys giving them the styles they prefer so they don't have to give up everything with the changing of time.

Hobbies:
- Camping - Nilin has spent many a time in the outdoors and finds it completely peaceful. A lot of people complain about dirt and sleeping on the hard ground but that is all part of the charm for her. She loves sitting around a fire to warm up and chat about anything that comes to mind. To look up at the stars and see all of them glowing like you would never be able to in the city. It brings people closer and makes you have to find more interesting ways to be entertained instead of just looking at a screen from who knows what electronic. It makes you appreciate the beauty around you that you may not be able to find much of anymore.

- Reading - She has always been fond of fantasy, mysteries and romance books. She will always have a few practical books such as cooking, art, and other such items but most of her bookshelves are filled with her favorite genres. It is not often that you don't find her with at least one book in her bag or reading at a table with a nice cup of tea or coffee.

- Gardening - She is not very good at gardening yet and is trying to learn by growing some produce and herbs for the house. She has been reading up on how to take care of each plant and has been pretty successful so far. Her fingers are crossed that she continues to do well and that maybe some of the others might enjoy it as well or wish to help grow more. If they didn't have to go shopping as much and could save a bit then it would be helpful.

- Video Games - She has a passion for many games from old to the new ones of today. She isn't completely picky on what to play but she enjoys a good plot and seems to be particularly good as shooting type games. She also seems to enjoy games that have a puzzle to figure out and that proves a challenge. It is more fun for her to have others to play against or with depending on the game. Heck, she doesn't even mind switch off on one player games after each death so she can have someone else's company.

Weapons:
- Metal Claws - While making her suit, she was semi-inspired by the Knights armor and made a metal shoulder armor to protect that side and use more for blocking if need be. It didn't seem complete with just the shoulder as a defense so she continued down the arm to make some nice moveable metal claws on one hand of her suit. This adds a little kick to her punches or she can use the claws which will give them a good scratch and do worse depending on where she can land a hit.

- Throwing Daggers - She can't do anything crazy like hitting a fly square on but she still has a pretty amazing aim. She could probably chuck a dagger at you and pin you to the wall without actually hitting you. It gets a little harder with a moving target so she is not 100% accurate and can, of course, miss what she is trying to hit. If the person is behind a box then there is nothing a dagger would do but out in the open, maybe she could hit their hand and make them drop a weapon or focus on the pain and attack.

- Nunchucks - In close quarter battles, she can be extremely lethal with this weapon. She knows where to hit that is painful, where to knock you out or worse. If you are not skilled in this weapon, you could easily hurt yourself instead of your opponent but this is not something she is worried about anymore. When training in karate, they were sure to teach you to be effective in this skill. She tucks this weapon in a special loop that is on the back of her belt.

- Fists - She thought she was a normal human most of her younger years which mean this was the style of weapon she was most use too. The daggers are her closest long range weapon and even that isn't too long of a distance. It might surprise most to how much defense and attack she can do with just her hands but sadly, she is more effective with normal humans unless someone is near her to lend some powers her way.

Equipment:
Most equipment belts are the equivalent to a fanny pack and while she doesn’t care too much about image, she has limits. Usually, she uses throwing daggers which are easy to place in her suit in various locations and also her nunchucks are tucked in a single loop in the back of her belt.

Fighting Style:
- Nunchaku - Combines offensive and defensive moves, so both locks and strikes. She usually wields it with one hand, but it can also be paired with other weapons if she chooses. Nilin whirls it around, using its hardened handles for blunt force, as well as wrapping its chain around an attacking weapon to immobilize or disarm an opponent. Nunchaku training has increased her hand speed, improve posture, self-restraint and conditioned her hands.

- Tai Chi Chuan While most think of this for medical benefits such as stress relief and doing something akin to yoga, it is also a slowed down graceful form of actual combat. Speed up the existing motions learned and they have a very real application for each move. Tai Chi Chuan's emphasis on the technique of yielding and attacking at the same time means there should be defensive and offensive intention in each movement so that the counterstrike will be quicker and will seize the opponent's weak area before they can recover. This combination involves every part of the body; thus she trained her whole body to be sensitive, nimble and flexible. This is different from most martial arts styles where offensive and defensive techniques occur separately.

- Gymnastics - Nilin uses this to flip away from enemies and to be able to jump over objects with more ease. It has helped train her upper body to be able to hold her body weight if she would need to be more stealthy. She can't know for sure but in her opinion, she has displayed more physical agility and coordination with the help of gymnastics.

Strength:
She is of average human strength perhaps slightly more but not to a New Breed standard. The only reason she says a bit more is that she has trained her body and kept herself in good shape. She has learned to use other peoples strengths against them in battle because she is still weak.

Endurance:
She is of average human endurance and knows the few tricks like many to keep running longer but eventually, she will tire out just like anyone else. It doesn't make her the best in a chase when she is on her own. It will be a matter of thinking ahead such as shortcuts.

Willpower:
This is probably the only instance where she is far beyond human limits. She will suffer if need be so that she can help someone else. In the face of danger and in tough times, she will still press on and try her best even when the situation is dim and she is close to that of a normal human. She will try to figure out the best solution to make a situation better or find a time to escape if possible.

Speed:
She is of normal speed in compared to humans. She isn't a slow runner by any means but she won't be in the Olympics or anything any time soon.

Reaction Speed:
Due to her training, she has great reaction speed and can often be found easily catching something in mid-air that is falling or blocking a hand that is coming at her. The way her attacks and skills work she has to be quick or it could mean trouble for her.

Name of Ability:
Telepathic Synchronization

Class:
Psychic

Character Theme:
It feels confusing to feel so ordinary when you are alone and then around others so extraordinary to suddenly feel completely different at the moment you are by their side. She could choose to walk away but then she would still know deep down that she was different with every brush of them walking by, feeling it grate against her senses and trying to ignore it or get away from the other person as soon as possible before she linked to them without control. Her brain waves syncing with their so that their powers would also become her own. It is so easy to block out what you are used to. It is like hearing a high pitched noise suddenly, at first, it is disorienting and you just want to cover your ears to make it stop but if you just wait long enough, you can adjust and maybe even tune out the sound completely with enough practice.

Ability Capabilities:
Mimicry, by synchronizing her brain waves with those around her, she can mimic their abilities and her body adjusts to contain them.

Qualities of Ability:
- Brain Wave Signature - Nilin can automatically sense a New Breed as her powers try to synchronize with the individual without her control. It is one of the reasons she does not like crowds and will try to avoid interviews as much as possible because she is not sure what the outcome will be should a New Breed be around. New powers are just that, completely new and uncontrollable to her. If she is around a certain signature long enough, she can learn to ignore the brainwave signatures around her but this takes at least a month or more to do. With focus and training, she will be able to control when she synchronizes or not. It does come in handy to know who is who without looking.

- Telepathic Mimicry - Nilin syncronizes her brain waves with that of another via a telepathic link and once they are connected, she mimics the powers they possess and they become her own. It isn't to say that she can perfectly control this power the first time as it is like having a new power spring up that you don't know the limits too. She could easy wear herself out or overdo it without realizing. If she trains and works at the powers, then she could be more fluent at it eventually.

- Physical Reconstruction - On a physical level, Nilin's body adjusts and changes so she can house the powers she receives. You can't spit acid without your body being ready for such an action after all. This is not really a pleasant experience but one she must endure if she wants to use someone else's powers. It would be like growing suddenly and causes aching if not worse depending on the changes that must be made.

Strengths of Ability:
- Original Strength - When Nilin copies the powers of another, she gains all of the strengths they have when using their powers.

- Tier Boost - Her power level boosts to the same tier as the person she is copying and might be a little than the original if she is still trying to learn the power.

- Sensing - Due to her syncronizing with brain waves, she can sense who is near her if she remembers what the person's brain wave feels like or looks like. It helps her see in a crowd and be able to tell you who is a New Breed.

Weaknesses of Ability:
- Original Weakness - While she gains all the strengths of the power she is using, she also takes all the weaknesses of that power as well. There is no picking or choosing what to copy as it is an all package deal.

- Mental Blocks - Her powers will not work on someone who can shield their minds or block her from their thoughts. If she can't synchronize then she cannot mimic their powers. This makes her weak against people with mental capabilities.

- Reconstruction - Physical Reconstruction can be extremely painful in some cases and she has to work through the pain. It is complete willpower that helps her through this. It helps having the powers linked before going into battle but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. It can make her a little weaker though if the pain is too much and less able to do certain moves.

- Alone - If Nilin does not have another New Breed around her then she is by all definition, completely human. Yes, she is trained but even that will only get her so far. She has to tag team with someone else which means she is very vulnerable without them. If she slips up and gets too far away then this could be a dangerous outcome for her.

Limitations of Ability:
- Range - Nilin has to stay within a certain range of the person she is linked to or she will lose all the powers that she is copying. This range can get a little broader with trying but there will always be a limit she cannot pass.

- Multiple Mimicry - She cannot copy the powers of more than one person at once. If she needed another power, she would have to desynchronize with the person she was linked to so she could synchronize with another. This all takes a good amount of time to do.

- Powered Items - She cannot copy the powers of someone that has gained their powers from an item. If they do not have natural powers or powers that were permanatly granted then she cannot copy them. She needs a mental connection and an item does not make that possible.

- Control - She does not have perfect control of powers gained. She actually has to work hard and train to get better at the powers so that she can understand how they work and what to avoid doing. She actually has to lean on the other person to advise her.

Biograph:

Quote:
- I love the smell of possiblity in the morning.

- In a world where you can be anything, be kind

Reputation:
She has a very split reaction from the community.

Half think that she is too fragile and sweet to be hanging around such dangerous situations. That with her only copying powers that she is more like a mascot or that they should let other more normal people in the group because why not? Is she mostly human and barely different, right?

While the other half are excited to see someone who has the same powers as the others. It is like taking your favorite New Breed hero or idol and timing them by two. It is interesting to see what someone else would do with the powers of someone else.

Name: Chloe Caldwin

Age: 22

Alias: Jury

Tier: Tier 2

Years Spent in SYNBAD: Nine months

Appearance:

Chloe is a pretty blonde white woman, standing at about 5'7 with an attractive but non-athletic build. She often ties her hair into a ponytail, and uses glasses or contact lenses to help compensate for her near-sightedness. Glasses are her preferred means of vision correction because putting things directly onto her eyes kind of creeps her out. She's a Londoner, though she has travelled around England and Europe thorughout her life and has lost some of the intricacies of the accent, there are a few remnants of the traditional british speak in her voice.

Personality: Chloe views the world as good vs evil, black and white. 'Morally grey' situations are for people who have failed to find the correct solution. She is deeply compassionate for the cause of fighting evil, which is one of the major reasons she and the experts joined SYNBAD. This approach is easily seen as narrow-minded, and her self-righteous attitude can put people at unease with her harping and judgemental behavior.

She does not exlcude herself from her own world-view, indeed she would become deeply frustrated and upset if she cannot find the 'correct' answer to a problem, or cannot discern who is 'right' and 'wrong'. She views this as a personal failure and it can get underneath her skin. This fantastical view of the world is easy to understand for her, but hard to but into practice. She is emotionally naive when it comes to this- but you'd be hard pressed to find someone more willing to help people. Despite her nigh-on-impossible standards, she does have altruistic motives.

The reasons behind these motives may not be so wholesome, however. Perpetually under watch by entities far more intelligent than she is, making moral judgements and giving advice that outsiders may or may not agree with. They are her closest friends and she would hate if they began to think she was a failure. They are her teachers, her mentors and her allies, but she seems to be too dependant on them for her own good. If one would grant her some slack, it would be her existence with them was mandatory and there have been few moments where one of the Panel of Experts was not in the same room.

Skills: Chloe never had a chance to develop skills through traditional means. From the beginning the Experts were teaching her how to do things they thought would be appropriate and fun for Chloe. Without her mentors she would never been able to do these nearly as well as she can with them.

Piano:

With Sarah's help, Chloe learned to play the piano. With no exceptional talent independantly, the noblewoman of her mind took it upon herself to rigorously train Chloe in the art of piano playing. As such, she has come to an intermediate level since and can play pleasant tunes.

Poetry:

Joanna is the artistically minded of the Panel, and taught Chloe to express her thoughts and ideas through poetry. Whether they are Joanna's ideas or Chloe's ideas are hard to tell, but when you read Chloe's poetry most cannot deny that they are competent writings- if slightly vague and lacking in meaning.

Clarissa is now attempting to teach Chloe how to bake, but this particular endeavor is not going well.

Hobbies: Since she learned how to do them, she plays the piano for fun and writes poetry for fun. Reading and things are okay, but Chloe finds herself frequently tuning into day time television. Long running soap operas, comedies, about romance and drama, betrayls and loyatly. All taking place in the same room with few camera takes, the actors occasionally mis-pronouncing things and ultimately nothing being accomplished. Packed full of tropes and the like. Still, the simple television appeals to Chloe's view of the world- where noble people maintain honor and while defeating their evil twin sisters and brothers, and nefarious step-uncles.

She also keeps up with the latest celebrity gossip and enjoys keeping up with the absurdly wealthy world of TV Stars. Whether it be magazines or TV programs, she could probably tell you everything you never wanted to know about celebrities.

Weapons: Tucked away in a pocket in her purse is a magazine-less 9mm handgun. In another fold is the magazine itself. Her firearm safety program Reginald wanted to sign her up for taught her the basic of firearm use and as such she is quite competent with a gun.

Arnold reminded Chloe that perhaps lethal force isn't always necessary, so Chloe also has a taser and a bottle of pepper spray to subdue people and bring them into justice.

Equipment: Often for investigating she carries a simple pen and paper journal- the kinesthetic element helps her keep her thoughts straight. Photos and recordings are secondary to writing down her thoughts with graphite scratched onto material sliced off of lumber. These are also kept away in her purse that Clarissa insists on keeping tidy.

Fighting Style: Chloe does combine her ability with her skill. She would normally fight like a slightly below average police officer, but her abilities allow her much more situational awareness, among other information and reads.

Explain what your character can and cannot do within the given areas;

Strength: Chloe is not strong on her own, nor with the help of her mentors. Lifting anything about 100 pounds is an incredible struggle if not impossible for the young woman. She's never built up her body weight or strength despite Reginald's protests. She's more than happy than to let the heavy hitters take the beatings and slam monsters through walls. She'll stay at the back, thank you very much. A gun, she finds, is usually more effective than a punch.

Endurance: Much like her strength, Chloe has no resistance to damage. In fact, she is more easily hurt due to her short stature and complete lack of grit. If one were to sock Chloe in the face, she would be unconscious, easy. The idea is to avoid pain as much as possible, for Chloe built to break.

Willpower: As a person, Chloe is the most willed person. With her confrontational behavior on subjects of evil, one might thing she is resilient when it comes to things related to mental fortitude. However, she is no star in this area, either. Like the ordinary person she is, she can easily break under extreme pressure. However, what the ordinary person doesn't have is a select group of experts to prepare her for stress before, after, and especially DURING battle.

Reginald, the brave beacon of chivalry, can give her mid-fight prep talks about the necessity of courage and valor, and how her actions will help those unable to help themselves. He can do this eloquently and persuasively due to his intagibility.

Joanna will remind her of the person that she is, of how Chloe would want herself to act. Of how others would want her to act.

Clarissa will usually chime in with the notion that panicking actually reduces the likelihood of a desireable outcome, and that remaining steadfast is more likely to result in a victory.

Sarah and Arnold tend to leave it to them, providing encouraging comments to keep fighting for what is right.

With these things in mind, Chloe can find the willpower to keep going, and not give into her urges to abandon the mission. While the Experts in no way want her to be in danger, they are more than capable of convincing her when fighting is the correct course of action whether it be due to doing the good thing and fighting evil, or chances of survival.

Speed: Jury is nimble enough. She could poke you in the eyes if she had the drop on you- but due to her shorter stature and lack of training, athletes could outrun her by a considerable margin. Her small frame allows her to be a little tricky to latch onto.

Reaction Speed: Chloe's reaction speed on her own isn't anything special- however, her Expert's reaction speeds are extremely quick. Reginald, for example, can help Chloe in a fist fight. While strength, speed, and size are hugely important factors, and most have Chloe out matched, she can use her environment to her advantage with the help of her Experts. It also helps that a gun is a great equalizer.

For example, Reginald is Chloe's primary consultant when it comes to up close fighting. If you could stop a frame of an MMA fight, take into account everything that has happened thus far, and you were incredibly knowledgable on the subject, you could probably take a pretty decent guess of who is going to do what next. Reginald is similar. Let's say a previously mentioned vampire mummy is rushing towards Chloe, well Reginald could instantly transmit the information that she is probably going to lunge. If Chloe gives herself fully into this instinct, it's like touching a hot pan and pulling her hand away. She doesn't think about doing it, there's just a sharp pain in her head and for a brief moment it's as if Reginald's instinct became her own.

Clarissa is the panel's expert for strategy. If Chloe was a member of SWAT, Clarissa could probably guess in which rooms were the enemy's going to be holed up in. If they're on the move, it becomes more difficult, but if Chloe has really researched the enemy, Clarissa might be able to "read" where they were going and what they might do next. This information can be jolted into her head, or delivered 'verbally', but that might take up valuable seconds in a fight.

Arnold could probably tell Chloe the closest escape route, and he has a knack for making decisions in a fight related to the survival of herself and her teammates. Someone's been wounded across the hall? Wait for it...now. Now go for them. He seems to be gifted in the preservation of life.

Joanna seems to know when the enemy is going to break, or give in. She walks up to them, and if she focuses, it's almost as if Chloe can temporarily "feel" their feelings, as if running a hand over a surface. This is important for tense social encounters.

Sarah is the master of dialogue. Interviews, manipulation, lies, charming, Sarah can give Chloe good advice on how or what to say. Does this always come out the right way? No- there's obviously a difference between being told what will most likely work, and actually being able to do it.

If a situation is very stressful, and mere seconds count, the Panel will instantly transmit what they want Chloe to do into her brain, like instinct. For a very brief moment, Chloe can have these skills. The unfortunate downside is the slight headache that occurs after word, and too much can result in temporary mental instability. Though it has never happened before, and they have no intention of doing so, the Panel could potentially render Chloe unconscious by filling her mind with copious amounts of temporary knowledge.

Name of Ability: A Panel of Experts

Class: Pyschic

Character Theme: The Counsel has arrived, and they are here to educate. The Panel of Experts, the Counsel, the Experts, or Chloe's imaginary friends. Call them what you may, but inside Chloe's mind there lives a selection of intelligent, if eccentric beings. They are capable of their own thoughts and feelings, and can walk through walls. What makes them more than mere imaginary friends, is not only their vast pool of knowledge, but their ability to see things that Chloe cannot, and report back to her on what they've seen. Curious, indeed. Currently, they offer no clear answers on why or how they exist.

Ability Capabilities: Chloe sees and hears multiple people inside her head. What seperates this from a strange mental disorder is the fact these beings are capable of getting access to information that Chloe cannot know. They all excel in their own field, which ever it may be, allowing Chloe to consult a panel of experts on most topics whenever she pleases.

Qualities of Ability: Chloe has multiple 'people' 'living inside her head.' They are masters of their topic of knowledge and are capable of delivering this information to Chloe whenever they please. Usually their goals align with Chloe's (or Chloe's goal aligns with theirs?) and are willing to help.

The following entitites are all Tier 3. They are completely intangible, and possess the ability to select which objects they can feel. They can walk through a wall, but they stil need stairs to get higher, for example. They can also store themselves in an unknown place and re-appear next to Chloe, so they cannot be seperated from her unless by super natural means.

Strengths of Ability: Her Experts can allow Chloe, an unremarkable, naive but headstrong girl to elevate her mental abilities via proxy to levels beyond most other people.

Weaknesses of Ability: Being so greatly influenced by this cast of colorful character's is not such an easy task. It is hard to know what Chloe would be like had she never had the Experts in her mind- but they play a major part in her self-validation. This is not something Chloe is in control of. It has not happened yet, but the Experts are capable of having serious disagreements with each other, and this will result in mental health problems for the woman so reliant upon them.

Limitations of Ability: The Experts sometimes argue amongst themselves. They are all quite exaggerated examples of real life people. While they are capable of instant transmission of information back to Chloe, they cannot teleport anywhere. Instead they appear in the same room with Chloe and must walk or run to wherever they desire. With their own motivations at play, sometimes they disagree on certain things and it is Chloe's job to get them to cooperate. It hasn't happened yet, but this would prove difficult.

Quote: "We all need friends, yeah?"

Reputation: Chloe is mostly unknown. After her book debacle, she was mostly discredited and forgotten by the public. Only recently has her name been popping up again in SYNBAD, the organization she only recently joined. Even then, she practically has a fresh start as little remember her brief spot in the lime light.

Special Tag: Oliver is primarily a PC, with a Person of Interest Tag. This means that in certain occassions, such as another member is creating a case for the group, they may have brief control of Oliver's presence. Otherwise the character is directly controlled by myself.

Age: 25

Alias: Don’t be silly, I am no superhero and I don’t see the reason why SYNBAD relies on these silly little names when they’ve been on the news and anyone with the right connections and know how would be able to figure it out. - Little does he know the department has a nickname for him as Crow’s Eye.

Tier: 3

Years in SYNBAD: 4 - Extra notation here, Oliver is rarely with the group SYNBAD his day job is within the police department itself. He is often more around during cases, though he visits on his off time -if any- from time to time to have a semblance of comradery. He may even invite those over to go fishing with him or something like that. Oliver’s main employment is within the judicial department itself, indirectly he’s part of an internal SYNBAD department, which means he deals with SYNBAD more directly when it comes to the unexplained and bizarre.

Lighting a fag, he slowly inhales, then exhales. It’s like a moment in one of those crime detective movies, as to individuals stare each other down in the middle of the night. Though staring down may have not been the keyword in this case, as you stood a foot above him, towering over the wiry framed, 5’4”, 162cm, man. He looked more like a child than he did a medical examiner in the police force, comically large, but fashionable sunglasses shading his gray colored irises, with a thrifty looking suit, often navy in color or black.

Tweed ties, which should forgo any semblance that he has a fashion sense, yet it is often paired with either a knee length trench coat or a fur coat. A young and youthful face gives off the impression of someone much younger in their mid teens or late teens, not a man in his mid twenties. Often wearing comfortable loafers, in different fashionable styles, some wonder why such the dramatics for one little tiny framed medical examiner, few would know.

The faintest smell of nicotine off this small 115lbs, 52kg, man isn’t a deterrent when it’s mixed with his vanilla scented lotion.

“Sorry I am nothing special, I just look ordinary, no unicorns here,” he laughs, yet he has a flat, single note tone to his voice. Though the cadence is raspy like an occasional smoker, despite its coarseness it’s a least lithe and easy to listen to.

Personality:

He’s not incapable, it’s clear that Oliver is adaptable for the most part, and smart. While he may not be a prodigy or a genius, it’s pretty clear Oliver can work around a problem with relative ease. To others he can be genuinely funny, though he is more likely to throw sweet flavored shade your way.

A smile can cover up a lot of words, while he may cover up that he’s poking at you with a smile, it veils biting internal commentary. That he strongly filters, in order to be better palpable to others. The conflict of fitting into the expected norms of a community and what he’d really like to say.

Oliver often feels pressured into behaving as society expects him to behave. He over worries and over stresses about fitting into the expected norm set for him. He recognizes that on the surface he looks human and to others that mean there isn’t anything particular abnormal about him.

Though akins the parts of himself he cannot relate to others as some kind of invisible aspect of himself that makes it difficult for him to relate to others well. He relates a story where he heard or resonated with a cats presence before it passed to convey a message to his girlfriend, to be confronted about it weeks later as something abnormal.

A lot of things Oliver is veiled about. While on the surface he seems nonchalantly to roll with the punches, he holds a lot of internal anger. But not enough motivation to verbalize this anger. It’s a lukewarm don’t care to care kind of attitude. Though it’s less like having no reaction, more like a lack of motivation to verbalize anything.

This veiling personality leaves a very externally positive, happy go lucky person, with the flair for the dramatic. Wearing clothes that otherwise wouldn’t be associated with his occupation, or placing glitter bottles or confetti in his pocket in order to provide his own glamor. Though internally is a very angry person, who own anger leaves him overwhelmed and drained that he has no motivations to do anything about it, someone who is always at the edge of losing it.

Skills:

M.D. Bachelor Degree -

Though unlike Foster/Harper, Oliver is a medical examiner. Someone who uses his degree to determine the cause of suspicious and violent deaths. His studies include forensic pathology and ways to diagnostically examine a body in order to determine time of death, with what, how, and observe details around the corpse.

Observational -

Oliver’s job is literally picking up on details others haven’t picked up on yet. His whole entire training has him scanning the world around him.

Police Training -

Since his day job is technically in the police department, he also has police training. Minor defense training, how to deescalate a situation, how to report a crime, and things such as that.

Good Fashion Sense -

You probably aren’t convinced that this is a skill, but pretend you have 14 pounds in your pocket, but need a good suit for a formal evening. You’re not thinking of the possibilities and endless combinations you could create with rather inexpensive clothing that looks like you copied it straight out of the latest fashion magazines. The trick is having a good eye.

Hobbies:

Zoning Out -

Sometimes Oliver’s days are long and some of the things he sees defy human expectations. It questions sometimes his belief or faith entirely in humanity when he is faced with its evil. He enjoys spending time alone by himself zoning out to music, any genre of music will suit him. Usually if it has a good beat and he can chill.

Fishing -

Then there are days when you need to get out of town. Take a trip to the lake, sit out in a boat, and forget that people exist and the world sucks. We live in a world these days that when we get out of nature we forget this little on spot is just the last remnants of a much bigger place we overtook. But he’ll look past that and try to live in the ignorance that this is a natural getaway.

Origami -

There’s so many things you can do with a piece of paper. Especially when you’re bored sitting at the office with nothing to do. A cootie catcher that when you open the flaps spells FUCK U, you betcha. A swan, typical, but yes. A frog, yep.

Weapon: Baton - used in defensive purposes to subdue his subject, not kill, or maim.

Equipment: Several utilities for writing, a journal for note taking, some glitter for dramatic flair often in a bottle

Fighting Style: Defensive non specified martial arts, in police training your taught a bit how to fight for self defense purposes. Though your main tool will always be your words. Oliver being tiny and short, and not always the average size of some men uses a non specific martial arts style taught to him by his police training course that uses soft martial arts techniques to use his enemies movements against themselves. All injury is then directed to self than from direct contact with Oliver.

Strength: Besides the amount of police training Oliver has had, he’s not the strongest individual of the bunch. He’s not going to be going into lengthy punch out battles with some dude with super strength. Oliver not a fan of pain much either and doesn’t have the best defense when it comes to taking hits, he’s lean, and thin. Even a tight hug could accidentally displace a rib.

Endurance: It’s not quite to superhuman levels, it’s a little bit better than most people’s. At the level of human in their prime level of fitness. He does go for morning jogs and while sure he’s not going to be taken punches very well, he can keep up with the best of them, if only it is to dodge an attack he’ll otherwise use to take advantage to trip up the next guy. He’ll eventually tire, just not as quickly, and is a wuss when it comes to particularly painful injuries.

Willpower: This is where things get complicated for Oliver. He’s spent most of his life being passed off to shrink after shrink, since his parents were concerned about the use of his abilities. They likened him to a psychopath or a serial killer. He was always in trouble for his powers, or the things he’d done to his dead pets. One time he exploded the hamster in the tub to pass on a final message. Because of this, Oliver is actually quite feeble minded. He’s concerned about his placed in the world, even if he passes it off as veiled optimism and a happy attitude. He easily falls apart at the realization that he’s not meeting society's expectations. And furthermore is either constantly overwhelmed with his own inner demons. Oliver is overly stressed and feels extreme pressure in society to adequately perform as the normal person he appears to be. Because of this it’s easy to attack him at the mental level, even if it’s hard to influence his behavior.

Speed: If there’s one thing Oliver does have it’s been quick and nimble. Mainly because his opponents are often twice his size, it’s easy to maneuver around them. Though his speed is not a direct motion, it’s more like being able to escape out of danger, or being able to move quickly out of the way. He of course is not going to beat any athletes out of their own game, of course not, but he at least can find a way to evade detection.

Reaction Speed: Slightly above average, Oliver training has always made him a naturally observing individual. So he can pick up on the slightest of cues and be able to react in an adequate enough time to be able to slip on through. Despite this his reaction speed is still not nowhere out there on the crazy levels it can get and there are still some delays between brain and action. Though Oliver still moves with an uncanny ability to read others fairly well.

Name of Ability: Zombie Juice

Class: Psychic

Character Theme: Character what now? I am a medical examiner, I don’t need any more things or expectations to be thrown at me. Please don’t glamorize my life in a way that’s so absurd I’d never be able to live up to that image. I’d barely be able to recognize that unicorn in the mirror then if you set the bar that high.

Ability Capabilities: Oliver interacts with the dead, though not like those TV shows on the telly with premonitions and the like. Ghost whispering, nor is it exactly like raising the dead. Instead it’s something more like dealing with zombies, and discerning information through body parts and fluids. Not too unlike his normal job, just with more enhancement. Pathology Manipulation might be a good way of putting it rather than simply reanimator.

Qualities of Ability:

Waking Dead -

Oliver can shoot a jolt of energy through a deceased individual’s brain, in order to reactive the brain enough for the individual to speak. They aren’t necessarily alive in this state, more like something between states. In ancient medicines and in ancient magical practices, they say something like crystals can retain the memories of events around them. Seems like a weird allegory, but the idea is more like digging at what the brain retained just before the state of death.

Just Stunning -
The jolt that otherwise affects the brain of the dead to reactivate, partially, tends to have the opposite reaction with those living that Oliver touches and decides to deliver a shocking result. This affect is used to stun others into submission, his jolt can often be the strength of a 50,000 amp stun gun from his palm directly to their body. However, as it is with his other ability this isn’t as clean cut as it should be.

Dying to See You -

It’s not just the brain Oliver can reactivate and use to discern information. Any impartial remains Oliver can discern events that happened to them by touch. It’s a really hazy, poorly put together jigsaw of information that barely cobbles together an accurate story. Death is really complicated and once again it’s not easy as he’d like it to be either.

Blood Thinner -

In layman's term someone would say that Oliver absorbs small amounts of blood through his skin. Though the truth is a bit more complicated than that. While it is true Oliver takes in small bits of blood through his skin, he actually breaks it down to its atomic energy in order to discern information from the leftover energy, not necessarily the blood itself. It’s difficult to do this with dryer or older blood when its blackened, though plausible, just difficult.

Last Words -

Less a direct ability he controls, and more like a passive ability. It seems his powers is some mass perversion of empathetic powers. But any passing person near him, soul expels a final message to their dead ones. Though this is more a feeling than words.

Strength of Ability: Quite frankly speaking, it’s probably the reason why he’s the best medical examiner SYNBAD is ever going to get. Someone who understands the stories of the dead and is able to define and so accurately portray their experiences, someone who truly knows is anyone family’s relief. While that may make him sound creepy, it’s a unique gift that blesses him wholey to get the dead the justice they deserve, on another it’s his curse that makes him understand dead people more than living.

Weakness of Ability:

Sometimes it seems Oliver forgets that people don’t like to talk about corpses, his ability has given him a unique insight into the world of the dead and questions one’s belief in the afterlife or at least perverts it in some way. For many this puts Oliver in a weird position it makes him come off too outside the norm for anyone to accept that part of himself. So he shuts others out about his world, because there’s nobody to talk to about corpse stuff. He finds himself identifying humanity with their death than their living lives, which puts him in an odd position with others.

Oliver spent most of his life in belief that there is something wrong with him, which puts him in an awkward state of mind with people. While he is glad he can provide the dead a voice they otherwise wouldn’t have, he wished he looked more like Bridget or Myles. Something that physically symbolize his difference between humanity itself.

There’s a lot of disassociation in his life where he feels completely mentally or physically lost. Beyond the fact that he is often drained by the end of it. It’s not a physical tired, but a mental tired. Your brain constantly scanning and finding information. Any introvert would be exhausted socializing with a large amount of people, in some ways this is similar in concept. Taking in new bits of information and trying to jumble them together leaves stress headaches, moodiness, and being overtired at times.

While his dreams take him to such vivid realities that aren’t his own. Dreams that make him lose himself, or dreams that playback the death of someone over and over again. Screaming and phantom noises in the back of his mind. Oliver stays silent through it all.

Limitations of Ability:

Despite Oliver having control of what he wants to send a jolt through, sometimes he has little control of how much juice he is giving something. With that in mind sometimes when things are given a jolt of energy, if it’s too much he has a tendency for the dead’s head to explode. Like having forgotten to take something out of the plastic wrapper and it explodes in the microwave. Abilities like being able to discern information from fragments and limbs are often what happened exactly to the limb. None of his powers give him direct context to the information.

Instead he gets the information in a poorly laid out blueprint in his brain that he has to jigsaw back together. It’s like a rubix cube with a few missing colors and you still have to manage to put the few remaining colors back together. Sending a jolt to an individual can lead to other complications, while they may not outright explode, his jolt can send enough energy to accidentally place someone in cardiac arrest, or sometimes his jolt starts hemorrhaging in certain parts of the body, or sometimes their heads explode.

Biography

Quotes:

“Do me a favor, if you meet God, tell him corpses smell gross, and I’d like him to give them a better scent, thanks.”

“Might not be a unicorn, but still fabulous nonetheless” -smiles, sparkles- [he just literally threw glitter on the ground]

“Look I am going to be frank, but you know what they say about frank he’s always nipping problems in the bud before they become problems. Your “problem” doesn’t really concern me, your wife is mad because you’re not sticking to the diet you promised to stick to with her. That seems like a fairly reasonable thing to be mad at, someone who doesn’t stick to their promises. Right now I have a guy, bits, and bones stuck in a woodchipper. So, which position would you like to be in? Mine or yours?” -smile kindly though-

Reputation: Mixed. No one can really grasp a feeling on what they think of Oliver. While they can admit that he is a fundamentally decent work and someone they openly admire. He can also be kind of off. There is no way someone should talk so casually about his work as if it doesn’t affect him. Or make nonchalant comments about death as if that’s a conversation you should have at brunch. People aren’t quite sure whether to peg him as a Dexter [from the show] or just socially awkward.

Eyes like violet sapphires and hair like diamonds, what a most beautiful child to be born. Skin, white, pale gleaming in the light of the hospital, illuminated prism that created an aura around the child. Was this the child of heaven, sent by God itself? Was this child an angel who had descended from the very heavens to bless them? Long white eyelashes, like clear crystal chandeliers, brushing gently across smooth, porcelain like skin. There was a moment of silence, as those looked upon this illuminating newborn, there was no congratulations it was a boy, or it was a girl, just silence. As they stared upon a child made of glass.

A name uttered; Stirling. Whether it is in reference to sterling silver or the little star as this decorative child beamed with radiance. Soon to be known as the most expensive babe to be born. In this stage of mental unawareness this babe had no idea what was in store for them.

Age: 20

Alias: Reflection

Tier: 4

Years in SYNBAD: 11 - With the group prior to SYNBAD and followed Viorel in loyalty to SYNBAD.

Gender: Since it will be a matter of debate. Stirling identifies themselves as nonbinary. They prefer They/Them pronouns, more than thought. Medically Stirling is somewhat intersex the chemical compounds in their crystal broke down their reproductive organs. Leaving Stirling rather underdeveloped and very androgynous. They don’t mind being called He/She/Her/His/Him pronouns If they are presenting in such a fashion, but only in manners of their dress.

White hair that is somewhat translucent in the light, strands of flexible, diamonds, cut short toaccentuate their boyish youthful face. Diamond earrings dangle from their ears, waterline like flexible clear crystal, long eyelashes like decorative bits of chandelier. Skin that lacks pigmentation, at least traditional pigmentation, in harsh light there is a prism that surrounds them. Very thin and very clear eyebrows, that also shimmer and shine. Everything about Stirling is accentuated by the mineral compounds that exist within them.

It is clear to anyone who can see Stirling that their body is an underdeveloped in many ways. Somewhat boyish figure, with wide shoulders, that allow them to wear padded shoulder shirts and jackets, giving them a somewhat warrior like appearance, with a thin, sparrow like frame, with invisible feminine elegance to it. With supple lips, with a slight evervescence to them. They have the clumsy body of someone who has not gone through puberty, yet they are thinned frame, and quite long limb and nimble. Standing at 5’7”, 170cm, and weighing around 100 lbs, 45kg. Has always struggled to put on a weight most of their life.

Wardrobe consist of anything that Stirling likes, They don’t have a specific desire or thought that this is strictly for boys or girls. Though some people complain that Stirling might be a bit like a cosplayer, as they often like to play with dramatic shapes. Military like tops, with big decorative shoulder parts or padding, with slim fitting pants, that accentuate a feminine form. Which dramatically plays off their androgyny.

This lack of development has also affected the way they sound to others as well. It’s quite clear that Stirling never grew into their body. With their voice being some androgynous middle range the highest pitch a male’s voice can go, with the lowest pitch a female’s voice can go. Though it isn’t unrefined in anyway. Rather it is quite decent to listen to, despite your brain trying to figure things out in your head about whether or not Stirling is male or female. There’s a slight coarseness to their voice, like listening to someone who may have damaged vocal cords, gravelly though lacking the testosterone it comes off as vocal fry.

Personality:

Stirling is refined and polished in a way that comes off unnatural. Everything about Stirling is like some “Prince” has entered. Elegant and regal, Stirling likes things in particular ways that please Them. They seem to lack the consideration of others wants, though being with the SYNBAD community for a while Stirling has warmed up to at least them. Though they can still be quite pedantic to strangers and people they just met. People are unsure whether or not Stirling does this to test their limits with the individual or to gauge socially where they can get their way.

This last a particularly long time unless someone can earn Stirling’s respect in some way or another form. Very few have done so. Very few understand the recipe that earns Stirling’s respect. A few things that gain Stirling’s attention is not to be treated as an object or a thing, to be treated with respect by another, to be treated to the truth, someone who is strong willed themselves. Stirling doesn’t accept victim’s of their own mind. It’s not that they don’t have a concept of mental illness, Stirling will accept it, but it doesn’t mean Stirling has to respect the individual until they respect themselves.

Stirling is firm willed and firm headed, not quite stubborn, but certainly doesn’t like being told they can’t do something or being told No. Stirling finds ways to bend or break the rules, if they feel they are being challenged by another individual. Stirling is extremely set on what they want and prefer to get what they want. This comes as childish to many, though Stirling didn’t get much things growing up and lived a life with no love or concept of desire, now Stirling will not accept anything less. Stirling understands and know they are worth so much more, and will not let others step over them as they have in the past.

They are extremely sharp, not necessarily sharp witted, and not necessarily intelligent, but rather they can catch up to speed quite quickly. They notices glances and other behavioral ticks that others do not, which sometimes makes Stirling a bit of a manipulator. Not that they do it quite on purpose because they are a cruel heartless individual, but that manipulation had been a defense mechanism during their turbulent times in their life.

Their pedantic and liking of things being specifically done in a way that they prefer is not just not one they place on others, but themselves as well. Stirling is a perfectionist who cannot accept any shortcomings or mistakes, anything they consider a failure they try to readjust, fix and make better. Obsessive with being perfect at every turn, Stirling has a hard time accepting their flaws or failures. And tends to pout or become moody if they are less than successful in a circumstance. Stirling is obsessed with their and others own perfectionism that it blinds them to the real important things about relationships with others. Though it is something Stirling is slowly learning due to the New Breed community they have found themselves in.

It isn’t that Stirling is unaccepting of others feelings, they can be quite receptive of others feelings actually. It’s what deeply touches Stirling without them really realizing that’s the case, sometimes often oblivious to those kind of feelings. And while Stirling themselves may be receptive of the way others feels, oblivious and dense to those circumstance they forget to give back to others emotionally. Very few have earned this right from Stirling and it’s genuinely surprising. Despite all these cold, seemingly, unempathetic gestures, Stirling prefers speaking in coded “language”. Instead of saying, I appreciate you or, I love you. They take action to show this. Though it probably is poorly received because no one can quite get the grasp of what Stirling’s meaning is leaving them a gift of flowers, maybe a cake [that they got someone to bake for them], or some kind of physical thing they can give is actual a sign of Stirling’s acceptance. Once you receive gifts from Stirling you have been accepted into their good graces.

Skills:

Ballet Dancing -

Perhaps if you’re lucky you’ll get to see Stirling dance, their long limbs, and oddly flexible body allows them to move with a grace you could only accept from a fairytale. While not a career they pursued, and something forced upon them in the past they move like a professional, perhaps not quite like a professional something more than a professional. Though those who have had the opportunity to watch Stirling dance say they move as if they could walk on air.

Fencing -

With Stirling’s technique and grace, they learned fencing as well as ballet and ballroom dancing. Anything and everything to make Stirling shine like a polished gem. Everything for its’ refinement and elegance. Fancy footwork, light steps, and dance like movement makes Stirling fencing style seem so much more. Like an artist given who uses a blade rather than paint brush to fend off their attackers.

Horseback Riding -

Stirling was taught in the skills that would have made them a noble once. More like a circus freakshow, to look beautiful and be gazed upon. Still Stirling is an excellent horse rider, and actually had won his captors a few trophies over the years due to his bond with a horse named Stormy.

Diplomacy -

Stirling may be a perfectionist and may not know how to engage people in an informal setting, though he learned to talk to the elite and upper class. Stirling is well versed in the ability to delegate a situation if need be, especially one where the group is looking for a particular result.

Secondary Language -

Stirling speaks a secondary language, he can speak French. Though he'll only do so if it is necessary. He prefers not to speak it because the language brings back uncomfortable parts of his history.

Hobbies:

Mystery Novels -

Stirling has a wide collection of mystery novels, probably one of the reasons they were so interested in joining SYNBAD. Everything they learned from investigation and looking for clues comes from the works on their beautiful bookshelves they asked for. Stirling will read just about anything when it comes to Mystery Novels, they’ll even pick up the inexpensive grocery story novels that aren’t very good and runs a review site dedicated to the books they pick up.

Sailboating -

It’s probably the only task Stirling enjoyed being thrust upon him at an early age. Due an older gentleman who smelled of Cubans and sometimes rume. He taught Stirling how to amass the sails, and how to actually steer the sailboat. Stirling likes the wind and the feeling of escapism to sail on water, and see the waves. It might even come in handy.

Cop Shows -

If Stirling’s mystery novels didn’t have all the answers, then Stirling would learn techniques from the many serialized crime dramas that came out in the early 80s on British TV. It’s why some nickname them Little Cop because Stirling on cases likes to imitates the attitudes and behaviors of cop show personalities in real life.

Weapons: Don’t need them.

Equipment: Not needed. Crystal can be used to make things if need be.

Fighting Style: Various combat styles. Because Stirling can harden their body, they can use various styles depending on the circumstances. Stirling doesn’t have to harden their whole entire body, they can harden certain parts that are more useful in a given state. Stirling has some training in boxing, they can harden simply their palms and deliver some pretty heavy blows that could otherwise shatter an arm, or some non supernatural individual’s bones. While they also can mix in his fencing if he needs to be more at a distance. They can also fight more roughly and unpolished, crystal spikes forming around them.

Base Strength: Stirling themselves are not very strong. They don’t possess unyielding amounts of supernatural strength. At base level Stirling’s strength level is that of an average human, perhaps slightly weaker considering their frame, and lack of body fat, or any musculature which they have trouble gaining.

Base Defense Strength: Stirling base defense is above average. It takes a bit of time for Stirling to have even registered that they could have been in fact injured by minimal impact. Minimal impact including such things as a papercut, or someone tapping them too hardly on the back, or someone punching them with their average strength.

With Ability Strength: It isn’t that Stirling’s strength changes. It’s simply the substance you’re getting hit with is different. They can bruise the toughest musclehead with a diamond palm. And crush the most average person’s leg or arm with one shattering punch. But Stirling strength level is still at their base strength.

With Ability Defense Strength: Stirlings base defense is exceptional when their body has hardened. An average person or a physically athletic person merely just going to shatter their hand on the substance of Stirling’s body. Anyone who is supernatural in strength can fracture Stirling’s defense after a couple of hard hits. And those with insane amounts of super strength are often the ones who do the most damage to Stirling with just one or two hard punches.

Endurance: Prime physical endurance. Stirling has the endurance of someone in peak physical form, at a professional athletes level. Because Stirling trains and is naturally active Stirling doesn’t tire as easily as say someone who’s never been fit in their life or trained to do so. This doesn’t, however, suggest that he has a huge pool of stamina like Foster. It just means that Stirling can last a long battle if need be. It takes longer for Stirling to succumb to their injuries, mainly because their oblivious to their pain till it’s really painful.

Willpower: Stirling is very tough minded due to their history, like injuries it’s hard for them to succumb to taunting and ravings of people trying to cut them to size. It would seem Stirling has an unbreakable will, but just like they eventually succumb to their injuries, with the right magical words its possible to falter Stirling. Though they are somewhat immune to the powers of psychics, telepaths, their mind reverbs back information only giving the telepath a terrible migraine for trying to read through Stirling.

Speed: This is the world Stirling excels. Stirling is quick and nimble, gymnastic in their movements. While they may not move at a speedster speed, they move at supernatural speed that certain individuals could not keep up with. Stirling even increases this speed, by sliding or skating on a thin layer of crystal. {Subzero a good example} Stirling can dance, waltz, around their enemies movements. Turning combat into what seems like an awkward dance with a clumsy partner, and the grace, the skill, that Stirling performs with.

Reaction Speed: Quick enough Stirling reflects your movements, it’s like they can see a mirror image of you and react accordingly. Not only is their speed difficult to deal with, their reactionary timing is exceptionally difficult to deal with. Stirling is not directly predicting movements, Stirling is reflecting his enemies movements in his mind, which allows him to gain an understanding of how they’ll move next.

Name of Ability: Stardust

Class: Physical

Character Theme: Of course the very image with a name like Stirling is its close resemblance to sterling silver. Though there is another image people don’t get from the name, long ago Stirling was in reference by the Normans as a “Little Star”. Stirling shines in a way that seems unbreakable, a polished image of beauty and firm will to carry on despite the tragedies of life makes Stirling a bright star that others would follow. Stirling guides those and navigates them through their darkness and radiates light to others. Determination is Stirling.

Ability Capabilities: Put simply Stirling body has replaced certain things with mineral compounds. Which they can harden in pieces or as a whole to create crystal. Their hair follicles are made of flexible crystal compounds, when aren’t hardened are like touching gel shoe sandals. The keratin in their nails are replaced by mineral compounds. Mineral compounds also swim along red and white blood cells in their blood. Even simpler, crystal manipulation.

Qualities of Ability:

Mineral Strengthening

Every mineral compound in Stirling ability, they can strengthen and harden it into a diamond like consistency. This can be done to in pieces, such as merely strengthening the mineral in a hand to make a diamond like palm. This can be done in pieces, such as strengthening the arm, in order to shape later into a blade. Mineral strengthening is what gives Stirling possibilities in combat or in other circumstances the they would use.

Crystal Shaping

Stirling has the ability to shape the crystal they strengthen into various things. Claws, blades, crystal nails, and so and so forth. The possibilities are as limitless as the individuals own creativity to get with them.

Crystallize

Stirling doesn’t just strengthen their own body, they can crystallize things around them. This spreads around them in a small 4 ft circumference. Which they use to manipulate, to slide on it, or around their enemies.

Mineral Reformation

Stirling’s body cracks, it can break apart, fall apart, shatter, and be crushed. Just like a vase or just like a stalagmite, Stirling can reform their body. Albeit slowly, Stirling can come through most injuries that would otherwise kill an individual. Though not immortal, we’ll discuss that a bit later. They can regrow from anything as long as he has a root to grow from.

Strength of Ability

The strength of Stirling ability is how various it can be, and how much wiggle room it lends him. The ability is not about overall strength, but what it lends to a creative user who understands it and can use it well. While simple explanations it may seem for the ability, the complexity of the ability comes in how it is used, strategic, and tactical brought up.

Weakness of Ability

Stirling mineral compounds don’t necessarily agree with their body, something in their chemical compounds killed their reproductive capabilities at an early age. Sometimes Stirling own white cells attack his crystal compounds as invades which leads to Stirling getting sort of sick often, catching the common cold more quickly and more frequently than other members of the New Breed community. And being crystal is not the ultimate defense, Stirling stays far from Bridget because heated dragon lady, that kind of condensed heat melts down crystal, expanded upon in limitations. Though Stirling themselves has trouble with heat, getting too hot could have Stirling collapse or pass out. They also don’t gain much weight, in fact they also have trouble keeping the weight they already have. Skipping a few meals could put Stirling in a poor situation, with more health complications that plague them.

Limitations of Ability:

Stirling cannot affect others with their crystal, this should be made pretty clear right away. That their crystallization affects what is around them an inorganic material, rather than organic material. Unto regrowth, Stirling cannot come back from the dead. If something kills their brain, or their body shuts down from organ failure than Stirling couldn’t come back from that. They are not immortal. But there is some caveat to that. Just like the chicken that survive its head coming off for a few months, as long as either the brain or the heart is still working or beating Stirling can regrow. As long as Stirling is not theoretically dead, Stirling can regrow.

Quotes:

“People are meant to be defined, we wouldn’t have labels existing otherwise if they weren’t meant to. So if someone says or looks trashy, then they are defined by themselves, I am not defining themselves, they already did that for me,”

“Secretly I want to make a big party for someone,”

“Gifts are the best love,”

“Cherries look like butts,”

Reputation: Stirling is often a mix bag. You either love them upon first meeting or hate them upon first meeting. Stirling certainly has an ugly beauty about them. Ugly personality, though it's what influenced them when they were quite young, a lot of scrupulous people judging every little finer detail of who you are and breaking you down to either you conformed or gave up. There's a genuine desire Stirling has to get to know people better, that's what the gift giving is about because they have no idea how to say it. Yet their outside surface is literally pretty, and it is further emphasized by pretty, flamboyant actions.

Viorel, is respected, I don't think Stirling could get away for very long like treating Viorel like a handmaiden

Myles, Stirling doesn't care for, something about Myles sense of dress and ugliness bothers Stirling. Most likely every time Myles walks into the room Stirling will raise their hands up and pretend they don't see anything or place up horse blinders

Jack is respected because they spar and Stirling gets to boss him around when he teaches him, so its a win win for Stirling

Stirling doesn't like Bridget either, she's hot, and also doesn't quite understand why everyone finds her pretty, when her face looks like an iron pan {his words}

Stirling likes Nilin, but won't show it, he sees her as to easy to push around, so while they like her, they don't have the respect enough to not push her around

Stirling doesn't like Foster because he comes off cowardly and Stirling doesn't like anyone who cannot be confident in themselves, they see it as a personal weakness and Stirling won't respect an individual like that. Also Foster is too nice and easy to push around so Stirling, if he can't push Nilin, will push around Foster even more because Foster is the type to easily cave

Stirling thinks Chloe is an idiot and won't respect her, they won't ask her for anything else, because she'll just ask the other people. So they ignore and pretend she doesn't exist at all.

Stirling finds Harper interesting, not enough to confide in, but he's confident and Stirling likes that. Most likely Stirling sees Harper as a role model because he's the most confident in himself. Or so it seems on the surface.

Stirling also has the same opinion of Myles towards Luka. He finds Luka to have a personal ugliness and their sense of dress is not refined at all. Stirling could see Luka being better refined than Myles, so Luka has been adopted as his pet project to make elegant

While Stirling has no personal feelings on Jensen. Jensen is so average, he's uninteresting to Stirling, he's not even fun to push around because Jensen just rolls with the punches usually
