Hogoblin Zats

It honestly never occurred to Zats that the someone special Gina mentioned earlier was him, and as far as he was concerned the newcomer ruined the moment. Luckily it seemed Gina didn't agree and leaned on his shoulder. He instantly forgot that he was angry at the idiot who disturbed them and his face turned as red as hers.

Luckily the intruder either got the hint or remembered he had something else to do cause not long after Gina told Zats to take responsibility the third wheel left. With the just of them he felt a bit bolder and tried to think of something in response. "Ehm sure but how? did you have something in mind?" Even he was aware how lame it was, but apparently he just wasn't good at this kind of thing. Not that it really mattered to him he had gotten his point across and as he basically expected from their earlier interactions she reciprocated. Still in order to impress more he would work on his flirting.

Grandpa looked over and was surprised at the sight of the hobgoblin before he recognized that it was one of the young ones. He didn't expect for any of them to get this strong so soon. He then calmed down a bit as hobgoblin explained what had happened and he sighed loudly in relief glad that everyone was alright and he didn't need to start digging graves again. Then he mentioned moving and visiting him and he laughed gently tapping his stick against the hobgoblins head before saying "Why would I stay here you little fool? I can't leave you, youngsters, alone after I took care of you for so long. I will only stay till the other two young ones that just left come back. Then if it is daytime we will head to the building. You will need to kill me before you get rid of me that easily" he said with a laugh patting the young one's head though now grandpa had to reach up to pat his head like a doting father.

@Guy0fV4lor

At first, there was no response and it might seem like the god ignored him. However in the next moment, one of the swords he used to create the shrine fell in front of him on its side then on its side was written under the name Gatoven. The god of steel gave him his name, however, the god either felt no interest or was only mildly curious considering his mother was interested in his brothers and sisters. The god of steel clearly cared about the weaponry so after the goblin saw its name the sword changed and all trace of rust was removed and it was strengthed. It was as if the sword had been made new again just for him to use.

Goblin Gina

@Duthguy
”How would I know, I don’t even know what I’m feeling right now!” She answers quite in a panic, before shoveling him away and running away with the book close in hand her far quite red with embarrassment. With her heart beating faster and faster as time goes which made breathing harder and harder as she runs to where the rabbit family is located. Luckily Nene was not far which saw her running away from the church at full speed, wanting to protect and see what was going on Nene abandoned what she was doing as she rushes to her side, hopping furiously to keep up with her distress friend.

She sighs in relief knowing that she has gotten away from the man that made her feel so strange and changed her mind from exploring or anyway of going anyway far that will destroy any contact from him. She sits down putting a hand in her chest as she tries to calm herself down.

Of course she didn’t notice her follow her as she arrives to where the broken tree was where the family of rabbits were in and where she separated from Zat. She stops after seeing the broken tree in the clearing being reminded of the family of rabbits where living. Worried and curious at the same time she takes a peak wanting to check if they were still there.

Hobgoblin Luz

@ReusableSword

Luz blushed for a second and smiled when Gird commented on her new looks. "Oh thank yo-" She then cut herself off as she thought about what he said for a second. "Wait Goddess? you mean Duvelna right?" Luz asked him just to make sure before looking around for any signs that she was still around. She then turned back to him. "Was that the one in the cloak, the one you were talking to?" Luz asked him.

When Gird told her that he receive the blessings of the Death Goddess she then looked a bit saddened, then she looked away."Oh...oh well congratulations..." She said awkwardly, then she put on a fake smile cause she didn't want to show Gird any weakness or discontent. "You earned it." She told him trying to seem happy for him. She hesitated to take the bracelet from him. "Equals?" She whispered looking a bit angry yet she tried to hide it with a smile. She then took a deep breath. "I'm afraid i can't be your equal at this point, but i will follow you in your quest as an underling...if you allow me." She rejected that motion cause she felted she was pitied. She then held her hand out to receive the bracelet waiting for him to accept or reject her motion.

Goblin Barth

Day Five: Early Morning

@Crusader Lord@Jangel13

The deeper into the forest they went the higher Barth’s vigilance rose. After the conversation they had had with the Elder Goblin he was well aware that the direction they were heading would lead them to the home of giant spiders. Stumbling into one of their webs would spell death for at least one of them. So it was these little threads that he was on the search for. It didn’t take long for the first ones to begin appearing along his peripheral, though he would have easily missed them if it were not for the sun making them shimmer.

After walking a little further along he noticed the webs becoming thicker, easier to see even without the aid of the sun. It wasn’t too much longer after this that he caught sight of the spider. He had known that it was going to be massive, but the fact that it was equal in size to him and Nyma gave him momentary pause. This was actually fortunate, if he had walked a few more steps he would have been captured within the beast’s web.

Taking a deep breath he stared directly into the spider’s eyes, feeling adrenaline coursing through him. He knew that he couldn’t risk any sudden movements and he believed that it would be futile to try and close the distance enough to engage it in melee. Which logically meant he had once course of action, even if it was a horrible idea. Slowly he adjusted his grip on his spear to hold it in one hand. Bringing it back he took aim at the spider, trying to line up the tip of the spear to an imaginary dot just above the spiders head so that the drop would hopefully lead to a solid hit. Barth understood that there was a good chance this wouldn’t work, but even if it didn’t it would force the spider’s attention onto him and Nyma would have an opening to kill it. Preferably before it killed him.

He took one more steadying breath before launching his spear, hoping that his aim would prove to be true.

Hobgoblin Gird
A friend approaches >>>> Going on an adventure /// Day 5 // Morning

The hobgoblin hesitated for a moment, something about her tone caught him off guard. Did he say something wrong or rude perhaps? That would be a conversation topic for another time for now he felt talking about it would simply make things worse. After all, he didn’t want to lose his friend to petty squabbling. “I don’t like the term underling. Friend or follower is good enough” he stated as he handed the bracelet over to the girl.

“This was a gift the goddess gave to me to give to you, after I told her that you should have the blessing because I believe that I would not have made it this far without you. You are strong, loyal, cunning, brave, and a good hunter.” He honestly did believe that she would want to hear what he said about her. “And yes she was the one in the cloak.” He looked back down to the bracelet he wore and knew he wouldn’t receive any benefit from it as it was not his.

“Now then, Duvelna has a mission for us.” He spoke as he gripped the vine and Alpha horn in his hand. “There is another goblin that wishes to worship the goddess. Her name is Nyma and this bracelet belongs to her.” Gird spoke as he looked off into the distance. He was trying to figure out which way to go to find her, his base instinct said north-east. He decided this was a good place to start, do some exploring and find some food along the way.

“I should also mention.” He said as he looked off into the distance, “The blessing I was given grants myself and those that follow me, the ability to grow faster when making kills. If, and only if you declare that you are sacrificing its soul to Duvelna” looking back at the girl Gird gave her a sharp toothy grin. “Now go get your things, and we will head out to find our new friend.” He told her as the hobgoblin continued to look out into the forest. Gird would spend a few moments covering himself in a new layer of mud and would wait for his friend before heading off into the forest at a fast pace.

Hogoblin Zats

When Gina ran off his first instinct was to run after but even Zats could tell she needed some time to figure out how she felt. Since he also didn't want her to be too long outside on her own, and risk her disappearing for a full day again, he didn't go for any of the books but instead headed to the pile of Skeleton weapons.

Unfortunately it seemed someone had already taken all of them leaving him with his trusty, if low quality, hand-made spear. When he was about to leave the church he noticed the bones of last night's victims and wondered if he should take one, despite already having the sharp bone Gina gave him. But since it wasn't a skull and he didn't want it turning into dust he grabbed two of the skulls, one for him and one he would give to the object of his affection.

Only when he was already outside the graveyard did he realize that he had no idea where she went or what tracks her new form would leave. Rather than asking for help this time, he decided to check what she called "their spots" starting with the lake and if she wasn't there the rabbit's nest they found.

Dᴀʏ 5 - Mᴏʀɴɪɴɢ

Hobgoblin Arch blinked a few times at what was to him a completely unexpected canning of his head, but seeing the mood of Goblin Grandpa, he smiled. Smiling even more as he heard his words, "I don't know, you might have liked the cave." He nods a few times jokingly leaning his head a bit forward for the patting, "I know we still have much to learn from you, so thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I hope we aren't disappointing you." He smiled before looking a bit more seriously, "I've began to worship the Eternal Mother, Shirila." He showed his bracelet to Goblin Grandpa before continuing, "I have a mission with her that I must conclude, so I can't spend much longer. But next time we meet," Which at the latest in Arch's mind would be in the next day, "I will come with many questions and a rabbit for you." He smiled rather innocently and happily, Goblin Grandpa was a good goblin to him.

He waited for any reply Goblin Grandpa might wish to give him, before grabbing the stick he left in a corner the previous day before leaving the cave with considerable haste. He now had to find the children of the Eternal Mother, the beings blessed by her. Places with many trees, but still ample clearings would be the best. With a place of the kind in mind, he ran and ran... and ran. Eventually he would find a place that fit the description.

He was even doing his best to keep in mind the placing of the more unique trees, stones and bushes he had seen to try to keep a general map of the places he had been to in mind. After all, it would be pitiful to get lost after running around in search of the children of the Eternal Mother.

Hobgoblin Ren
Praying >>> Proving Himself /// Early Mourning // Day 5

@Jangel13
For a moment, Ren had almost been convinced that his call would go unanswered, but that was not so. The god of steel had answered his prayer with both a name, and a blade. Though Ren knew he should feel ecstatic that his prayer was answered, it felt.... insincere.

He would need to prove himself worthy of his god's favor. "My lord Gatoven, I humbly thank you for answering my prayer. With the blade you have bestowed upon me, I shall prove myself worthy. Wolves, the creatures that rule the night in this forest... I shall seek and slay as many of these beasts as I can in your name, and return when my task is done. Ren prayed one last time before taking up his new weapon, and beginning his hunt.

Day 5: Early Morning

Oh. Oooooooh. A goblin-sized spider, as it were, lied right before them, sitting upon its web waiting for prey. An interesting stance for pouncing that she took care to observe, how it sat ready to pounce, body still but tensed up and ready to catch prey or leap upon it as was needed. This being said, she was not ignorant of the danger that in reality sat before them, and how this information she observed about the spider might need to be put to good use right now.

The trip here hadn't taken too long, the webs getting thicker and thicker, she'd been tempted to collect some but hadn't in favor of doing so on the way out instead. Such webbing could make a nice net, or perhaps something with which to build a trap. Perhaps it could be used for means of protection, even, around the cave in case wolves came by and got a bit reckless. She'd kept her eyes open, though, and the morning daylight had helped keep them from being caught up indeed. But now was the real test, and as she thought of a plan....she noticed something.

Barth, standing just to the back and side of her, ready to throw his spear. He wasn't close enough to hit her at all, but she was close enough to be in the way if the spider attacked. Blast.

'What's does that idiot he think he's doing? We need to coordinate this, or at least be ready for an attack if he misses,' Nyma thought in her head, a light grimace on her face.

However, intercepting to trying to stop the throw would not be conducive to this, she just had to roll with it and be ready. So, mimicking the preparedness of the spider and its behavior she had observed, Nyma had her spear extended out, legs and body adopting the same type of stance, ready to pounce at a hair trigger to lodge her spear into the spider if it leapt at them. Alternately, if the spider was hit and didn't leap she was ready to pounce at it all the same. In that sense, her stance was ready for either scenario, adopting the stance of a dangerous wild predator in order to defend herself or be able to lash out at a moment's notice.

Hobgoblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Jangel13
“I don’t like the term underling. Friend or follower is good enough”

Luz tilted her head, sighed, and said "Well i guess that good enough" Luz told him accepting the bracelet from him. When Luz heard that the goddess gave her a bracelet as a gift her mood then lighten. "Oh, at least i was acknowledged...Thank you. At least i wasn't beaten by someone who didn't deserve her blessing. though i am somewhat disappointed I'm glad you got acknowledge out of all the clan. You are a good leader who gets's stuff done after all." Luz said sounding less bitter than before but still kind of saddening. But she wasn't a girl who would cry about it, crying solves nothing but actions and hard work solve fix problems.

@Guy0fV4lor@Darked13@Wildman13@Duthguy
"Let me hide some of my things and gather some stuff and we can go." She told him Before sneaking into the back entrance of the church only to find that group from last night was now gone. Which made it easy to hide her club, Two rabbit horns, and rabbit fur somewhere in the storage area(Do not steal from her unless you want to invoke the wrath of Sithis a former yakuza heiress). Of course, Luz doesn't care if Gird sees cause she trusts him.

Then pick up one of the skulls from the skeletons from last night before going back outside to gather some ivy she begins tying the skull so it would hang near her hip. Now that Luz was prepared to leave it was now time to make it official. "Now! it is time to officially join the ranks of Duvelna." She told Gird with resolve before she finally puts on her new bracelet.

@demonspade64

What a soul looks like-

As she put on her bracelet she soon saw things in a different light, literally. It seemed that her vision became slightly darker and everything was a little less bright. However, when she looked at Gird soul she would a pitch-black soul. The soul was pitch black and hard to see however it enveloped his entire body almost like a cloak and when she looked at where his heard should be she could see the beating of his heart matching in rhythm to the beating of his soul. His soul was strong that was clear because she could see the firmness of the edges in his souls' aura. It was like it was almost solid showcasing his strength both mentally and physically. If she looked at Gina's soul, for example, it would display the same firmness but the color would be as green as the purest of grasses, Ren's would be grey steel in color and so on. Each soul had its own color to correspond with its owner's strength and abilities.

@Darked13

on the hunt to protect-

He smiled at the little one and laughed lightly as he said that he liked the cave and in all honesty, he just lived here because it was one of the few safe havens for their kind. He smiled softly like a proud father as he pats his head and heard that he was a follower of the eternal mother. He listened to him as he spoke and when he was done Grandpa gently pats his cheek and said "I'm proud young one. Be sure to prove yourself to the goddess but promise me you WILL come back. What matters is that you survive young one. Also if anything I fear that I will just slow you young ones' down, I can only hope advice will be enough to help you all"He said before he walked back into the cave and waited for the young goblins to return so he could take them to this new safe place the young hobgoblins cleared out.

As the hobgoblin searched he would find...nothing. He would notice that the trees around him looked stronger and sturdier the further he went but it was clear he wouldn't find such a rare and fantastic creature right in his own backyard. He would need to dare to go farther into uncharted territory if he wanted a chance to find the ones he is meant to protect.

@Guy0fV4lor

a wolf hunt-

The hobgoblin that had taken his newfound sword found himself heading towards the west like Grandpa had said earlier. However for the time being there were only signs of them. Things like scratched bark that was marked as territory not to mention areas where there was fresh marking like urine. No doubt that there were wolves around but for the time being he was safe...

@Crusader Lord@Kheliop

Spiders attack-

As the goblin threw his spear in the hopes that he would kill the spider in one shot it turned out that while he got the direction right he didn't put enough power into it. As the spear traveled it disturbed the webs making the spider alert and ready to move and it already was when the spear went through and missed entirely. Now the spider scurried quickly with speed that they couldn't follow it then lunged out of one of the nearby webs towards Nyma however before it could sink its venom-filled fangs into the goblin it was struck by the spear the goblin had pointed upwards. It cried out as it started to bleed but before the goblin could deliver the final push and force the spear through the spider jumped off and ran back into the trees hiding in the treetops for its next opening...

@Wildman13

Gina kept running away from her hobgoblin and soon was back at the rabbit nest. She soon peaked inside and saw that the mother was nursing two of the babies and normally the mother would be fighting tooth and nail to keep ehr away it simply stayed where it was. It seemed being blessed by Shirila allowed her to interact with the bunnies freely. While they didn't move away from her they didn't move towards her either prefering the privacy. She soon noticed that Nene who was her loyal companion for so long was actually much larger then she was before. She now had a long streek of red fur running down her head to her fluff tail. It seemed that she had gained experience as well and became an Alpha herself. She was able to get close to the other rabbits with her and it seemed that they could both handle being around other bunnies without hostilities...

Nyma

Day 5: Early Morning

The spider had leapt upon her spear, impaling itself upon her spear a bit before running off. It seemed her spear had been placed well for intercepting the spider. At least, for that very instance. Gooey spider blood of an alien color staining the end of the shaft of her spear, Nyma kept the weapon held up and ready to intercept another attack. Adrenaline ran through her veins, pushing her senses, the muscles of her body, all of this beyond the norm as it would with any living creature that could undergo a "fight or flight" response as she was right now. Nyma noted the angle of the creature's attack, and squatted herself a bit lower where she stood to make her spear more prominent than herself as she kept the spear up and ready. Its tip stood higher than her head in this current posture of hers in case it came from above, yet was out enough that a side attack could be intercepted even with her reaction time.

Young goblin eyes scanned over the treetops carefully and cautiously, kept sensitive for any signs of movement, of rustling, of some sort of attack. The shriek it had let out was different than what she and Barth had heard before going back to the cave the other day, that much was certain. But for the moment that didn't matter. It seemed this creature relied on speed and stealth, with its webs and poison as well, to ensnare and kill prey quickly. However, it didn't seem to judge the presence of things like a spear well, and so perhaps this pouncing mode, an imitation of the spider's own movements in a defensive manner alongside the light but if squatting, would allow her to better secure the kill. Or at least......stand more of a chance against this thing in this situation.

"Barth, stay close, and get your stick up. This thing wants to find a good angle of attack, but if we're covering those points it might get desperate and run onto one of our weapons again," the young female goblin whispered aloud where she and Barth alone could hear, her tone a tad harsh but also determined in the sense of not wanting to die.

If the goddess had heard her, perhaps some help would arrive in time. Or...something. Anything to make sure this thing was dead so she could harvest it. Honestly, she had no idea what spider meat tasted like, but if she had the chance it was more than worth a try for her if they survived this encounter.

Unknown to the young goblin, that "frayed rope" she so thought of it as inside of her, that part able to make and seeking a connection, was flailing about, reaching, stretching, aiming to connect with anything that could help. Perhaps this gift too lashed out in desperation to survive when she was in danger? For the moment, the full truth was perhaps unknown.

Hobgoblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Jangel13

When Luz put the bracelet on Luz couldn't help but notice that her vision was slightly different, everything seems slightly dimmer but she assume that maybe cause a cloud or tree was blocking the sun so she just glances it off and waited for Gird to finishes getting ready. Once Gird arrives she would turn to him and asks. "Doesn't it seems darker out than usu-" She then cuts herself off she notices something more off about his appearance than before and glares at him looking a bit weirded out. "Hmmm...what is that...dark glow around you?" Luz asked him. Luz couldn't help but curious about it as she stepped closer to him. "Is it safe to touch?" Luz asked him wanting to touch the dark aura not knowing what it was.

Luz then sighed in disappointment. "Actually I think we should try to get this job done as fast as possible, for i am sure it would please our goddess and show our worth to her as followers." Luz suggested to him.

Goblin Barth

Day Five: Early Morning

@Crusader Lord@Jangel13

Barth took a deep breath as he steadied himself once more. He was of course disappointed that the throw had failed, but he was still glad he had chosen the course of action that he had. Two things had been accomplished by the act. The first was the fact that just as he had hoped Nyma manage to injure the critter when it lunged out at her. The second was it showed him a way to hopefully lure the beast out again since it had decided to scurry back into the surrounding tree’s and webs.

While his partner turned her gaze towards the treetops his own scanned along the ground. He needed to find some object, not to be used as a weapon but to use as a rudimentary tool. It was beneficial that they were currently deep in the forest, as it lead to there being more than a few branches scattered around the ground. After a moment of searching he found one of sufficient length. Reaching down he picked it up, holding it tightly in the grasp of his right hand.

Before he got the chance to begin putting his plan into action he was interrupted by Nyma giving him instructions. Under normal circumstances he would have no issue with this, but with the order she gave it was impossible for him to follow. He had to make a choice back at the cave whether he would bring his staff or one of the spears. Without the means to carry both conveniently he had opted to leave the staff behind.

”That isn’t an option, I had to leave it behind when we decided to go on this excursion.” He spoke at the same volume as her, though it didn’t really matter as they hadn’t moved very far out of their positions.

With his explanation out of the way he resumed putting his plan into action. With their current setup the only directions they faced extreme danger from was above them and behind, the latter applying primarily to him as he was behind her. From the spider’s reaction to his spear being thrown it seemed like it focused on the areas where the web was disturbed. Sure, it may have been luck the first time. But perhaps luck would shine on him a second time and let his plan work. If not they would just keep improvising.

Barth leaned around the side of Nyma and tossed the stick in his hand out in front of her, throwing it directly into the webbing that was located in front of his compatriot. He hoped this would cause the spider to strike from that direction and into her spear a second time. As he waited he sent out a silent prayer, asking for lightning to strike twice in the form of his luck.

Hobgoblin Gird
Going on an adventure >>>> Frolicking in the forest /// Day 5 // Morning

Gird didn’t bother with the skeleton skulls for now but did take the time to wait for his companion to finish whatever it was she was doing. With the fresh coat of mud covering his bright skin he watched his friend as she put the bracelet on claiming that she now officially joined the ranks of Duvelna. After seeing this, he didn’t want to wait around any longer. “So first things first, find our other disciple of death then I would like to head north for some hunting of bats before making our way back to the cave to tell our elder of what happened.”

Finishing his sentence he believed that Luz was also ready to go, however she did something different instead. She seemed like she could see something he couldn’t. “Dark glow?” he asked as he glanced around himself. “Are you ok?” the hobgoblin furrowed his brow at her as he watched her come closer. She seemed like she wanted to touch him as she reached out towards him and finally asked about it. “I have no idea what you’re talking about, but sure go ahead.” Gird wouldn’t stop her from whatever it was she was doing.

After letting the girl finish inspecting him, he looked at her with a smile. “You don’t have to ask if you want to touch me I don’t really care. But right now, all I want to do is run.” and with a nod he turned toward the direction his instincts were pointing him in and dug his clawed feet into the ground hard. With a burst of speed that was, until today, unknown to him. Gird took off into the forest as fast as he could. Ultimately he was testing out his new speed, stamina, agility, and strength. He needed to find his limit and to know what it felt like, so he knew when he was getting close to tiring out.

Jumping, rolling, climbing, and dodging over downed trees and thick brush. These once formidable obstacles were now more like a playground to exercise and just feel free. The hobgoblin even found himself ignoring any wildlife he came across preferring to scare them and keep running then cause any harm, at least for now. However, the scream of a nearby creature pulled him from his slight adrenaline rush and made him change his course towards it. Gird soon found himself slowing down into a crouched walking position. The forest seemed to grow still and strange sticky strings began to envelop the surrounding plants, he was sure they were getting close to whatever made that scream.

Hobgoblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Jangel13

Luz looked puzzled when Gird answers her question with confusion looking at his own body, then again it took her a few seconds to see it so maybe it was hard to see his black aura from where he was at, that was one of her theories. Since Gird didn't may she actually tried to touch it only for the aura to pass through her hand without even so much as feeling warm "I can't feel it..." She then sighed. "Nevermind, i guess there no more point of wasting any more time, Let's get moving and make the goddess proud should we?" Luz told him.

Luz then ran with him with him in the lead, sprinting through the forest at her new top speed, loving how much faster her new form as she ran past the trees and clear fallen logs with a that send her to fly higher then it did yesterday. She felt quite proud and empowered of what she achieved last night. One last thing she needs to find out, was her new form stronger as well? Well, she will find out soon enough.
As Luz ran a horned rabbit ran across her path, she avoids it by jumping but couldn't help but notice a strange glow in its body which had her looking at it and thinking about how odd it was while she was in the air. Thankfully the rabbit fled the scene so Luz wasn't distracted long, So she continued her sprint to try to regain the gap between her and Gird.

Luz follow Gird slowing down a bit before sliding her feet on the ground she could stop beside him. I take it this was the place Grandpa mention to you?" She deducted remembering what Gird told her the other day about the spider area.

Hogoblin Zats

When he arrived at the lake and noticed Gina wasn't there Zats decided to check the rabbit nest in the tree stump. On the way there he let his mind wander about how to obtain magic. He could think of four different ways, two of which would have to be last resort kinda things, since he didn't think Shirila would be too happy if he used them. Those two idea's were contacting the god of Magic and make a deal and trying to see if Gravekeepers spirit somehow allowed him to do more than just draw strength from skulls.

Of the two other options, one relied on there both being a book on magic in the church and him being able to read it, which was frankly unlikely. That left one option to try, seeing if he could control plants like the Eternal Mother. Not expecting too much the first time he started by seeing if he could somehow sense something from the many trees and plants around while making his way to where he suspected Gina was.

Dᴀʏ 5 - Mᴏʀɴɪɴɢ

"Don't worry, I won't let myself die so easily!" The hobgoblin shouted to Goblin Grandpa without looking back as he ran off.

Truly, it was only natural that there were none nearby, but Shirila wouldn't give him a quest that was too perious for him, and if she had chosen him for his haste, he should certainly be able to find at least one of her children. Or at least, he had faith that such would happen.

He drew in a deep breath, before focusing on running further away and looking around. Even if there a tinge of worry he would meet a fearsome foe on his way, or worse the reason something blessed by the Eternal Mother would need protection.

An insane goblin-

The goblins plan was nearly suicidal and would take a miracle to work the way he hoped. As the stick was thrown what he expected to happen happened. The spider quickly leaped from its perch nearby and landed on the web where he threw the stick. However, the spider was no fool once the spider had realized it wasn't alive and moving it immediately leaped away only giving the goblin Nyma the chance to wound it again and not deliver the killing blow. The spider screeched once more and allowed the two hobgoblins to hear the direction it was coming from. They would soon notice the webs themselves and if they were careful they would provide aid to the now weaponless goblin...

@Darked13

One of the earth's children-

The hobgoblin kept running ahead unsure of what he would actually find. Soon enough though he would find something that would take his breath away either in fear or in aww. Soon he came upon a clearing of a large bear. However, this was no ordinary bear the bear had vines stretching its entire body and leaves growing where fur is meant to be. If not for the fact that it was moving it could have been mistaken for a naturally made statue. The bear was easily double the size fo the hobgoblin with razor sharp claws and fangs. It looked like it could tear the hobgoblins head off without any effort! What was most peculiar was the fact that upon its back was an actual tree growing where its spine should be! The tree itself was growing different fruits that looked almost like apples in a way. What was noticeable however was also the fact that there was a large wound on its side a long cut stretching from it's from shoulder to his back leg clearly unable to move. It also seemed to bleed green rather than red.

The goddess was saddened seeing one so strong so weak. Through the bracelet, he heard her whisper "Approach slowly young one. show him your open palm and remove your weapons. He must not see you as a threat or he will kill you" she warned
